I've told my closest friend, and the response was all well and good, but they haven't mentioned since. Too many other things to think about and do I suppose. |

When I told my friend about lucid dreaming, he said that he had one (didn´t know what it was though) long time ago, but allways when he tried to do something, the dream started from the beginning, until he woke up. So I think the reason he doesn´t get interested is because it was such a dissapointment for him. |

Yeah if only they had at least one lucid dream before I told them about it then it might be a different story... |

"For a long time it gave me nightmares, having to witness an injustice like that. It was a constant reminder of how unfair this world can be, I can still hear them taunting him. 'Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids!'... How come they just couldn't give him some cereal?"
Some people just aren't interested in it. There are lots of things that some people think is great but others are not interested in. |
|
On the bright side it must feel great being one of the few people who can do it. |
|
Some people are afraid it can take you away from the real world, and think it is dangerous (like the entire 'OMG that guy shot someone, must be because he LDs!!' story...). |
|
I agree with all the reasons that have been brought up here like people being lazy, thinking they already know what it is, thinking its too "out there" or that you're just embellishing. |
