Woke up this morning and stupidly didn't write down my dream before falling asleep again, causing me to forget most of it. It was a really interesting one as well! Unfortunately I only remember the less-interesting parts, but fortunately I remembered a second when I woke up again. --- 22/4/12 All I remember is exploring a deep cave with three others, where we become trapped almost like the Chilean miners. When we finally find a way out, we learn that the whole thing was a test. --- I'm in a smart suit and arrive at a big London building in search of a job. There are hordes of businessmen going in and out just like horrible swarms of ants and as I walk through the front door, my dad does too, which I had not expected. We both walk through the ground floor room, which is busy and dirty like a cheap market. My dad enters a meeting on the first floor, and I continue alone up the stairs to find a job. The stairs seem endless, like a tower, and I check every room for potential work. However, all the rooms are empty and I figure I must be at least an hour early. Briefly and faintly, I hear someone having sex, and almost check the bedrooms near the top of the tower, before suppressing my perverted curiosity. At the very top of the stairs, I find a blacksmith's forge. I begin to hammer the anvil a few times, but am swiftly told that this isn't my job, and shooed out of the room. On the way back down I discover a shop that was definitely not there before, and I talk to the various people inside, Oblivion style. An old man gives me a phoenix feather, and I immediately realise its value and rarity. He tells me now that I have one, I will be able to find many more in my travels. After this completely irrelevant digression, I find the shop owner: a stout, short-haired woman who seems to be in a rush. She notices that I'm wearing an employee uniform and a 'my name is ...' sticker [which I hadn't had before] and tells me to continue with my work while she goes on holiday for a few weeks. Sweating from climbing the hundreds of stairs, I open some window, before noticing some friends. One has an unusually large bifro, making him look like a member of The Mars Volta. Their song 'The Widow' then blasts through the overhead speakers, and we rock the fuck out to it.
