I feel like my recall improved slightly here but it was still pretty vague. Hopefully it should improve some more before the Sensei's competition begins. I'm really looking forward to the competition as it should hopefully help me become more excited and motivated to have my second LD and hopefully complete some basic tasks. I also have gotten a new, more comfortable matress to replace my old one which was roughly 30 years old. That should help me sleep more comfortably at night so I'm able WBTB more efficiently. Apart from that, nothing else has really been happening so onto the dream!

I'm in the car with my mother, she's driving me to school and we're chatting about something which I can't recall. We arrive and I get out of the car and make my way towards the gate. I'm suddenly in a bus and I sit down next a spare seat and just look at some people talking. I'm then put in an extremaly healthy, green looking field with a cream gravel path curving around ahead. I vaguely remember looking out over the field and seeing some mountains in the distance, it was beautiful. I start walking with M and we are talking about plans for some sort of event that was going to happen. After a small amount of time I realise a small group of about 5 of us have been sepearted from the rest of the class. We all follow the track for a while and we come to an edge. We all sit a couple meters away from it without looking over the edge. M tells me to jump and see whats behind it. I agree with him for no apparent reason. I run towards the edge and jump, to my surprise it's a campsite and the rest of the class is there. I land with a roll and sit down on one of the folding chairs that they have set up. I'm given a container with some stuff in it and I'm told to set up. If find M walking into the camp and ask him where to sit, he tells me theres only one to choose and I see that's the one I was sitting at earlier. The dream fades here.

There have been a couple of beautiful landscapes that I've encountered, not sure why but it's a welcome occurence. Once again, just aiming to improve recall and vividness of my dreams before I become lucid. I'm just happy to dream, I find it really fun regardless if it's lucid or not.

This is probably the first time that I've done high speed flight since I flew into space so long ago. Very exciting to experience!

Lucid #112: Water Pressure

It's the middle of the night and I'm walking around the front yard of my childhood home. The sprinklers are all on and it's my job to somehow turn each sprinkler head off by touching it. As I do this, I'm narrating out loud to one of my waking life friends what I'm doing. (Can't remember which friend this was, since they were "off camera".)

"These big sprayers at the front of the yard are the worst ones!" I explain to my friend. As I approach the sprinkler head, it hits me with a powerful jet of water that starts pushing me away from the yard and out into the street. "See what I mean!" I shout as the jet continues to shove me.

Pretty soon I'm tumbling and sliding all the way down the street, trying to fight my way back to the yard. Okay, this has got to be a dream... The spray continues to hit me, pushing me along faster and faster as I slide down the street. Somehow it's not getting me soaked but it is pushing me at an incredible rate of speed. I'm sliding past houses like I'm on a bobsled attached to a rocket.

I leap into the air and start flying, still going really, really fast. The speed is absolutely dizzying, easily ten or more times faster than any lucid flying I've ever done. I soon leave civilization behind and I'm flying at super speed over grassland and hills. The sun is now up and early morning light is illuminating the landscape. My flight control isn't perfect and I do a couple of unintentional barrel rolls, fly higher than I mean to, then lower than I'd like.

Just as I'm flying over the top of another set of hills, I find myself in the void, suddenly moving much more slowly. Except it's not a complete void. I see a distant dream scene in front of me, almost like something I'm watching on television through a long, dark tunnel. I'm moving toward this new scene, rubbing my hands together and preparing to enter it.

It's a scene from some sort of grand luxury hotel, bright and really classic-looking. The men look sharp but indistinguishable from one another and the women are dressed in crazy feather- and sequin-clad dresses like something from the Roaring 20s. I'm now a part of the scene, standing in this hotel lobby, looking up as these amazing DCs pass by on the balconies above. I try to remember what I'd intended to do next, but the dream ends.

i was being led by a person through underground tunnels and caves, my leader in the dark caverns was a very neanderthal looking person that seemed to speak no language. in most parts of the journey i could barley see because of the darkness. however, when we did exit into daylight through a cavern entrance i was surrounded by vibrant green Meadows and Grassland. at this time i can see my leaders features, brown hair, pale skin, large teeth. despite my beautiful surroundings i am for some reason they are unpleasing. (at this point my dream fades into my memory.)

I'm writing this a bit late, so I've forgotten a lot of them, but I can remember two different dreams last night. One dealt with my gf and she was excited to get the chance to be alone together again, and it was at night. But for some reason I was upset with her, I remember realizing that my mom would be home, and gave that as a reason why we couldn't do anything. I think that might have been part of the reason why I was upset. I also remember a part of the dream where I was in a game store, but I can't really remember why or what happened there.

The second dream was much more vivid, and I can clearly remember one part of it. I was with an adventuring party in a type of MMORPG world. There were green plains around us that became smooth hills. We decided to split up at some point, and I knew that I had to go and meet them at this place to talk to some important person. I decided to take a ship to my destination, and being on the ship felt really nice. I could feel the wind on me as I held onto one of the ropes used to adjust the sails as I looked out over the landscape and saw a tower in the distance to my left, and a forest that stretched out to my right. It was bright out with few clouds in the sky. I arrived at the destination, and sat on a bench waiting/talking with another person that also arrived there. I believe this is where the dream ends.
