    1. Monkey in a cage

      by , 06-23-2015 at 12:19 PM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
It was midnight. I was sitting on a chair in the ruins of a castle. There was a cage with a monkey inside. The animal had no fur and wore green shorts. There was a girl that I was in friendly terms in the past, now only passing acquintances. She came closer to me and tried to tell something, but I interrupted her shouting "I'll rather be with that monkey in a cage, than with you!"

I ran away and found myself on my frontyard. I entered a car, and with brother and mother we drove to a city centre. On the way we passed procession, my younger sister was leading it. In the end we stopped in a parking lot, and heard people talking about christmas.

Read about the SSILD technique and tried it. Not sure if this will be a good one for me. Woke up without any alarm. Tried the relaxation cycle. Fell back asleep. Nothing. Tried again and again as I kept waking up during the night. Nothing to report here.
In the early morning hours I dreamt I was back in FL. I met all my friends again. It felt wonderful. We were at Winghouse. Suddenly we were all living in a medieval house (more like a castle). My friends all dressed up as if they would go to a re-enactment. They looked great. It was funny. They all were part of a procession and tell me to go with them. I just stand there and watch them. Suddenly I'm back at the house and the maidservant is telling me in an evil voice "Maybe they will never return from the procession!". I think something might be really wrong and something bad will happen to my friends. So I run through the house, open all these old fashioned locks and when I finally reach the last door I wake up.
    3. The Procession

Apparently, in the dream, I was taking part of an odd parade procession. It felt like something I'd do for community service at the university, and I did recognize some classmates among the crowd of what I take were students. It was night time, and we congregated on a large enclosed field with overgrown grass, some of it reaching up to my knees. We were all carrying backpacks, and for some reason, I have a feeling that the procession had something to do with the movement of the planets. There was something that we were doing that was astronomy related, but I cannot remember what exactly. It just comes as a feeling.

So we all began to walk in a messy line and entered this large building whose inside reminded me a lot of my grandmother's house. We walked around in circles, into the house, back outside, into the house again. Occasionally, we would sit in an IMAX-kind of theater and watch a presentation or a video, and once again, I have a feeling it was astronomy related. At one point in time, we stayed outside and mingled. For whatever reason, I had apparently set my backpack down, and when it was time for us to move again, I left it there. So when we were inside the building, I realized my backpack was missing and I went back to get it. But when I went back outside, I was hit with a sort of deja vu, and realized that I was dreaming. By now, the skies had become lighter and were cloudy.

Giddy with the realization, I did what I always did in a lucid dream, which was to fly. So I spread my arms like wings, down-stroked, and took off. My first instinct was to summon a character, and decided I would try to have Sebastian (from Black Butler; I am a hopeless fan) appear. I tried to simply will him to appear, but the only thing that presented itself was a crow, which I took to be one of his forms. I began to follow the crow in the air and realized that it was flying in a weird slow-motion. I realized that the dream was decaying, so in attempt to keep it from falling apart further, I concentrated on the crow, and willed it to fly regularly. It worked for a while, but eventually, I wound up back in bed, awake.

This is the very first DILD I've had in over a month and I hope to have more.
