Memorable Dreams
A LOT of time ago I posted my first lucid dream in this very website: http://www.dreamviews.com/f13/my-fir...38/#post918173 An since then I have been taking notes of my dreams, trying lucid techniques and reality checks, practicing and trying... but with no success. The beauty of the lucid dream would not come back. The incredible feeling of knowing that the alternate reality you are experiencing is a creation within your own mind, and knowing that you can have control of everything in that reality... that would not come back. And during this time I had a lot of great dreams but no control in any of them. Until yesterday. I was dreaming about my family and me living in a nice wooden house with strange green carpeting all over the floor. In this dream, the family car had just been stolen because of me forgetting the keys inside it and leaving the door open. I didn't like that. I just couldn't accept it. And that was enough. Strangely, all I needed to return to the lucid dream world again was not agreeing with the reality that was presented to me at that time. And that was it. I was in the lucid dream world again. I was amazed to have it in front of me again: a different reality within my mind, a new world waiting to be discovered. It's difficult to describe how magnificent it all was, despite the fact that I was only seeing my dream room in that wooden house. I got out of the room. My sister was there. She told me about the stolen car and started complaining. So, the first thing I did in that lucid was changing the reality I didn't like. So I told my sister: "The car was NOT stolen." With these words, she stopped talking and leaved. I couldn't believe it. It worked. My words came true the moment I said them. I went to another zone of the house. It was a living room with a big screen TV. All my family was there, happily watching TV. Amazed as I was, I just stared at them, enjoying how real they were. I started laughing nervously a little, thinking about the possibility of telling them that it was all a dream. But I just couldn't do it. This alternate reality just felt so real I felt it wasn't fair to destroy it for my dream family. So I didn't say a word but instead I noticed a big window in this living room that let me see outside. A beautiful park was outside my dream house: a lot of trees, extremely green grass, and everything looked like it just stopped raining. I thought about heading to the door to go into the park, but then I thought: "why don't I just pass through the glass? It's a dream after all " I touched the glass of the closed window with the tips of my fingers. Just like everything else, it felt as real as windows and glasses of the waking world. But I just had to push a little to start crossing through the glass just if like it was a layer of thin ice. Amazing. There was just a problem: I started to think about this too "logically": "the park I am seeing is too far away and it's BELOW me because I am in a second floor. how will I reach the street?". As if reality itself tried to help me, the park started to distort as if it was trying to reach my extended arms. I gave up. I backed off and returned to the living room. My family was still there. They didn't notice anything. Just two seconds later I woke up. So, This lucid may have lasted just a few minutes, but it is still one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. Thanks for reading my dream. And remember: never stop trying to have a lucid dream. You will make it, and it is all worth it.
I pulled one of my teeth out a couple times while living at "the farm house". One of them was so real I felt the hole it had left with my tongue. I thought it was real till I woke up.

I was in a plain. I was standing at the edge of the place that opens to get ready to jump out. I seen my sister, Crystal, standing next to me. She had a parachute on. She was holding a baby I knew to be hers. I looked behind me and seen a few girls with us with or getting their packs on. My sister jumps first and I jump after her. I pulled my string after about 20 seconds of falling and after seeing her pull hers open. Then while falling slower I noticed that we were headed straight to Walmart. We landed in the parking lot. We waited for the other girls to land. We all went in together. Crystal instructed each of us to find an out fit and that she would be buying all of them. We each grabbed a cart and divided. I found the outfit and was on my way to check out when I found a pretty necklace. In the dream it was to me the prettiest necklace I'd seen in my life and I was so excited that I found it by chance on my way to leave. I went to the check out. I seen my sister and waved her over to show her the necklace I'd found. She walked over and then I look in my cart to find it. Its not there. I look at the girl checking out in front of me. Its one of my sisters friends and the check out lady was ringing up a necklace that was the same ad mine for her. I think she took it ou of my cart and bought it for her self. It angered me at first, but decided I would find another one. It wasn't worth starting a fight over. So I went on my mission to find another pretty necklace. I looked in the jewelry section. There wasn't one. I looked on the floor, under clothes racks, and then I went to the back of the store and crawled threw tunnels of boxes. After a long search, I decided the necklace wasn't worth the trouble. I went to go check out what was in my cart. I passed the dressing room. All of my sisters friends, my sister and the walmart dressing room lady were crowded around looking panicked. I approached them and seen what the problem was. My sisters baby had stopped breathing and the walmart lady was doing cpr on her. I woke up. This was a month before my sister had her baby in real life.

I was in a truck. It was day time. Jimmy (one of my friends in high school) was driving. We were looking for Tyler. (My bf in high school). Jimmy was worrying me. He said that thhey had been looking every where and couldn't find him. I then floated out of my and seen we were driving down the road by my house. I floated above the car following were it went. It went down my road toward the iron bridge, past moccasin flats (a road) too the end of the gravel road. It went left toward Wappapillow. Then it turned down another road I knew unexpectedly. It was the road Bobby and Jamie lived down. I then thought "why would tyler be at bobby's house (another x of mine) they don't know each other" then I woke up.

I woke up. My alarm was going off. I hopped up out of bed. I was late. I rushed into the closet, picked out my clothes grabbed my bag and went down stairs. I woke up. My alarm was going off. It had been going off 45 minutes I had missed the buss and so had my brother because I usually wake him up.. My mom had to drive us to school that day. I never really believed my mom until that day all the times she told me she had mistaken real life for a dream. It was a frustrating but eye opening dream.

I had been alone at "the farm house" for the last month . I was asleep in the living room with the tv on and my black light in the living room I woke up in, in this dream. Its the dream that creeps me out the most still.. I woke up. It was dark. The tv was on along with my black light. I had fallen asleep on the couch in the living room. I got up and walked to the window in front of me. It was open. I looked out side and the ski was lit up by the moon and the sky was purplish. A van came driving down the gravel road slowly. It had black lights inside. I seen a figure in the back glass when it reached a point I could see the back. The van stopped. It went in reverse and then went into my drive way. I went and hid in the closet. I heard a few people come in the house. They passed me. Then I hear screams of some one in the house. "I thought every one was gone" in my head. Then another persons. "I could have warned them" I started crying. Then a figure walks by the closet I'm hiding. He goes out view just a second passing the entrance. Then his head peaks around the corner. I know he has seen me. He starts to approach me and I wake up. On the couch just like the beginning of my dream. I didn't get up for a while because I was scared.

I lived in the midwest on unsettled land. My brother (who appeared not as my RL bro, but some evil looking man) and I decide to start a town. But we had very different ideas on how to go about doing that. My brother was very evil. So me and a small group of people tried to live peacefully with my brother and his people. But soon they ran us out of town. We were on the run for years living on prairies, river valleys, and fighting to survive in the wilderness. Sometimes my brother's men would spot us near town and come after us. At one point we took off down a steep slope and had to run along a muddy river bank. In the end they caught us all and held us captive. By then end there was a core group of four of us who lived and survived together. Me, this black haired guy that I was apparently in love with, an older blonde woman in her forties, and another man in his early thirties with medium brown hair and blue eyes.
----This first part occurred almost like looking back on memories within the dream---- I was apart of a secret group of super heroes. The group had been together since we were kids, about ten years old or so. We started out as a group of friends and there was five or six of us. One summer we decided to try and help stop crime in the city. So each summer for years we would get together as a team and catch criminals. We had not been together in awhile though since we had gone our separate ways for college/work etc. ---This was the 'present time' in the dream----- But we heard something terrible was going to happen in the city so we all got together one more time, and it was the first time we had seen each other in ages. So we all met in the city, in our uniforms/disguises to get ready for the unknown evil force to come. Of course a couple of punk kids came over and started bugging us so I went over and told them to give me their best shot. They tried to kick my legs out from under me but I didn't budge. Then I did some crazy flip and landed inches in front of them, which intimidated them so they ran off. Out of our group of heroes I was by far the smallest and shortest person. But I was the most agile and able to do insane acrobatic-type moves. So I guess I moved alot like Spiderman or nightcrawler.....Anyways, I wore a mask that was half red half blue with spikey blue hair on it. I wore a Patriots football jersey to match, with skinny jeans and black sneakers. One of my friends wore a black and yellow disguise. He was the biggest and strongest. Then a news crew showed up and we asked them why they never put us on the new for all the good deeds we had done.
I almost forgot about this dream. The ONLY reason I remembered this dream is it is the first dream I EVER wrote down and only by chance. I am horrible with names and quotes. Even when I woke up and attempted to write this dream down I couldn't recall the words exactly. This is what I remember. "Hipicus hopicus men are" poly something. "Hopicus hipicus woman are" mono something. I don't recall anything visually about this dream or if it was a man or woman that said it. I knew that it was important. I don't know why. I felt it was so important I wrote it down (when I never wrote down my dreams) and wanted to figure out what's meaning. I couldn't find anything about what I had remembered. only the beginning of poly and mono was I able to find a definition for. I would have forgotten this dream if I hadn't have read it in a book. I know it sounds absurd and isn't possible. If it hadn't happened to me I wouldn't believe it myself. Like I said I'm horrible with quotes and didn't recognize this dream the first time I read it in a book. ("Our Dreaming Mind" Robert Vandecastle". In this book it only states the phrase "hippicus hopicus men are polyogimus. Hopicus hicumus women are monomogumus". (I'm sure that's spelled all kins of wrong) and goes on to say that not all dreams are as important as they seemed while you were dreaming. (Very good book) Then about a month later I had started reading a book specifically on lucid dreams. Then I read the story about the same dream in full context from the persons dream journal. While reading this I had a flash back of the dream I had. It was a dream I would have remembered otherwise because I'm bad at quotes. But feelings and reactions on the other hand. The person that dreamed this same dream also had the same feeling of importance upon waking about the quote. He also didn't remember anything but the quote and couldn't find out what its meaning. (But he also remembered the quote in full upon waking). I find this dream more interesting than any of my others including my lucid ones. It also creeps me out more than any other. I still have no idea what this quote means.

I was 13-14 when I dreamed this. I was living with my great grandparents at the time. was in a dark hallway. There was a couple doors and I opened the one at the end of the hallway. When I did the daylight at first prevented me from seeing out. As my vision adjusted to the light I seen there was a bridge. It was made out of ropes and pieces of wood. I open the door all the way and seen I was in a big city landscape. As I walked out on the bridge I noticed the building I had came out of and the building across from me were matching ski scrapers. I walked across the bridge and opened the door. It opened into a room with people wearing head dresses. I was happy to see them. But when they noticed me they all seemed to get angry I was there. They started chasing me and I went back out the door I had came in hoping to reach the other building. When I was halfway across the wooden bridge it collapsed from the many people that were on it and we all fell to the concrete and I awoke.

This is the second oldest dream I can recall. I was living in the apartment I dreamed of in the first dream. I was 12-13 years old at the time. It was right after play station came out and I had been playing "Castlevaina: Symphony of the Night" the last month. I was stuck and couldn't beat this one part of the game for the last week. It was in the upside down part of the castle and the guy that has a bunch of bee's come out of his decomposing body hung up on chains. Then I had the following dream and got past that part the next day. Its not much of a dream. It was just a tv screen in front of me with no sides I was so close. I wasn't aware of my body. I was controlling the character in the video game. I was trying to beat the part I had been stuck on. I beat it and woke up.

This is the first dream I can remember having. I don't know where I was living when I dreamed this. When recalling this dream I noticed it looked like an apartment I had lived at but I know it was before we lived there when I dreamed it. So this is before I turned 12 at my best guess. I was standing in the hallway next to the kitchen. I could see the glass doors that led outside to the yard. It was daytime. I seen terminator (yeah Arnold) walk in the living room. He tried to shoot me. I ran past him and out the glass door to the out side. I ran out to the road and seen a hug culvert (drain pipe if I spelled wrong). I hid inside for a moment and decided to check and see if he was following me. He was and so was a female terminator. He shot me. I don't recall ever feeling it. I looked down and ther was a huge hole in my belly and I wondered "how can I still be standing up". As I put my hand threw the hole and seen my spine was gone. I then woke up.

I'll post the actual lucid dream. I was on the bus but it looked the bus from the Simpsons that's when I realized that I was dreaming, tried to summon up the first thing I could think of because I knew i would wake up in seconds but woke up before I could really see what I had summoned. I think it was Bart Simpson, because the dream had gotten fuzzy by the time I got to summoning him, I saw lots of yellow. Then I had woken up and decided to do a reality check by putting my finger through my hand it went through. I tried summoning something again, and i was unseen before the world got fuzzy again, and again it looked yellow.

So when I was dreaming today, I was in some dark town with clouds overhead. There was no activity in the town and it at first appeared as if I was the only one there. I walk around, and see a couple people and they look like some of my friends. I saw them sitting on the curb outside a store that was closed or shut down. I keep walking and found another person and asked if there was a way out of this place (It seemed to be an alternate dimension). So he was some old fat man around his 40's 50's dressed in a suit playing cards with friends in what appeared to be a basement, and had the slightest hint of an Italian accent or he sounded like Danny DeVito. Anyway he said no, and that I'm stuck here for life. I walk away and see a baby and I know its family. I go back to my friends that I saw earlier and they say the only way to get out of here is to kill him. They say its a vacuum spell put on him by some witch. They said they tried to kill him but he's too protected. The Dream ended when i went back to take the baby.
I woke after nine hours of sleep. I had zero recall. I had an hour before I just had to get up so I tried to dream some more. My mind was racing with thoughts and I couldn't fall back to sleep. So I did a few minutes of meditation to relax and quiet my mind. Then I started my "I am dreaming" mantra. I had a though about a haunted tour my fiancée told me about but I pushed it aside. I think my consciousness split for a few minutes. I also had a thought wondering if WILD could actually happen. I was doubtful. Then I had a thought of a ghost or demon or something coming for me. I wanted to run but I was paralysed. Then I remembered myself and said no I must be about to dream. I was indeed in SP. I felt all tingling and twitchy. I told myself I didn't care about whatever was coming it wasn't real. I relaxed and in a few seconds my body became calm. I partially opened my eyes. I could see a brightly lit window. Somehow I mistook this for reality. I did not expect to enter the dream like a FA. So not realising I was dreaming I closed my eyes again. I felt very disappoint. I felt a few twitches of SP and then.... I don't know. Memory gap. I had given up. Next time I will know what to expect! I vaguely remember getting up and seeing myself dressed with crazy bed hair. I remember fragments of being in a building at night. Some strange workplace. Using keys on doors. Bruce from where I really work. Then I was in my ex in laws living room. We had just watched some movie about long haired gerbils with my kids. Their grandmother and grandfather were watching it too. She said to him "You know what they are selling at the pet store now don't you?" "What? Long haired gerbils?" "Yep!" I wake up. I doubt I had a true WILD. I did sort of forget myself before the SP. Is this a normal WILD experience?
