    1. cccxliii. Planet, Supermarket, Murdering a Horde raid group

Scraps: Something about a planet and an RTS-like view. Before that, with a group of people.

      27th October 2021

Scraps: I'm in a supermarket or such like and I am talking to someone about Guinness (the drink).

      Some in-line bracketed notes.

      Fragment:

I'm outside, a green area, possibly a field in a rural area, sunny, bright, clear. (The location is realistic but the player characters are mostly as in-game, maybe perceived as slightly more realistic) There's a fairly large group of Horde players staging something over by slightly hilly corner of the field. I have an NPC forsaken rogue bodyguard, being a rogue myself, seeing in the usual third-person view.

The AI for my bodyguard isn't especially clever, but when I come out of stealth the NPC does support me a fair bit in a logical way. Most of the Horde players don't react to my ambushes; I repeatedly target priests and mages, focusing each one down. Most of my targets are forsaken themselves and are wearing T1 gear. I employ the usual rogue tactics, stealth, ambush, cloak of shadows, vanish. During the dream, I presume part of the reason they don't get at me in full force is some shock or surprise factor, with some awareness that their collective looked a bit too passive for that to be the reason. (Possibly an intrusion from some classic videos I remember from way back when, where people sometimes ignored fights or were AFK standing around etc.)

The last target is an enemy rogue who I have a small chase with and then end up using cheap shot and stun locking him to death in the dark cover of some bushes. (Think he was forsaken too)

An earlier bit; something in space. It's a mix of Master of Orion II and other space games which are 3D. Something about starting a new game and not being able to pick previous locations in the galaxy. I remember being able to see one of my previous ships or avatars travelling through space, in a distant system while in some kind of strategy view.
    2. [A Wooden War]

      [Monday, September 24th, 2012]
Next we're in a giant Gym. We're in a faction war- our leader is a "Good" evil scientist villain. He leaves his female assistant in charge. There are
about 50-100 of us total outside, and some of us are inside helping to set up for the battle. It's all innocent though- no one is to die. We have little
slingshots attached to our left wrists and nothing to shoot. So we take stacks of wooden tongue flatteners- I don't know their name- and we snap
them in half and either set them in our pocket or store them inside the hollow part of our... magnificent and bulky metal shields? Wow. Where did
those come from? Anyways- the WAR is starting! I grab my stack of broken pieces and run out the door. Already their swarming in to the Gym,
so I had just missed them. Everyone here is getting owned. Bad. The opposite "Horde" side is in single-file with little dagger-like weapons. I tell
everyone around me, "FOLLOW ME EVERYONE! WE'RE GOING TO AMBUSH THEM!" People follow me to the side and start shooting their
pieces at the single file. They're dropping like flies, haha! We're gonna win! The area around here suddenly has the feel of "Grandpa's old house"
we had to run around a stone-thing to start shooting. A few "Horde" run up to me with their daggers and I put up my shield and bash. I bash them
away and knock them on their ass and run past. Once in the back yard, I see a big screen on the back wall. The GAME ENDS. The war is over!

Me and a few other people from my faction gather around the screen... we're playing World of Warcraft in real life... The screen says, "Everyone wins!
Everyone worked together!" I scratch my head and think to myself, "That sounds stupid as hell..." The screen shifts to a Reward page however
and I perk up! There are four to choose from. I get excited... and I start to use my intuition to figure out the prizes before they're revealed...
"That bottom one... That one has to be the new level 100 DRAGON FORM!" Suddenly it appears on the screen and I'm right. People look at me
with surprise, but then they look back. "The left one..." it appears before I can say it. I hurry up to the right one, the druid... "AND THEN LEVEL
100 BEAR FORM! YEAH!" It appears I'm right again. This bear form looks incredibly bad-ass. The top one is revealed then, and it's a Shaman
thing. I poke at it, curious, but then drop my attention once I realize that I'm Alliance and probably won't get to try it anyways on this character.

    3. 58th Shared Dreaming Attempt- Cay's Dreams

      Cay's Dreams
      Dream 1
I was with my sister, Azra, and an unfamiliar male; we were in a huge room with tan walls. All the furniture was pushed up agains them and there were several beds stacked on top of each other to make a rickety bunk bed. Azra, my sister and the male all climbed up to the top bunk- it must've been 20 feet off the ground. Suddenly the door was thrown open and people started flooding into the room, people with glowing green eyes and weapons. There were a few pairs pushing what looked like a cross between a medieval flail and an old fashioned push reel lawn mower. I spent the remainder of the dream playing defend the castle (the bunks) with my bare fists. At one point I stopped one of the lawn mower things with my open hand and it was lacerated to bits. At this point I woke up with a sore jaw from grinding my teeth.

      Dream 2
I got lucid. I was standing in my yard, it was warm and pleasant and looked like summer. I became aware of a huge pole standing in the yard, a signpost. On one side, a huge orange sign read "Katsuno's Dream", with a symbol below it of a person falling through a portal (from the game Portal). I went and stood below the sign. The dream world started shifting around me; soon in the place of my house stood what looked like a hotel, painted bright blue with white balconies. I shrugged and set off for it. As soon as I walked into the lobby, there were all these dream characters crowding and pushing. I made my way toward the general center. There stood facing away a guy with brown hair in a white t-shirt with a different sense about him than the rest of the DCs- I spun him around. "Katsuno?!" I shouted in his face, while holding him by the shoulders. "Ah, yes?" he leaned away. "Katsuno! You're dreaming! You're dreaming, Katsuno!" I hugged him. "And, I'm Cay...and this is a shared dream!" I started dragging him around by the wrist, telling him excitedly that he had to try to remember this. I lost lucidity somewhere in the crowd of DCs, and Azra's alarm clock woke me up. She set it forward for an hour, though, so I fell back to sleep after scribbling some notes on a Post-it. Based on Katsuno's account from last night, though, it was a false encounter.

      Dream 3
I was apparently in the damp stone tunnels under a castle, looking for a number of hidden relics in the shape of wooden suns, with faces carved on them and painted gold. I was also avoiding the guardians of the catacombs, these reptilian humanoids with chain mail and straight swords with spikes on them like the orcs have in LotR. I kept having to hurriedly snuff out my lantern when I heard their shuffling footsteps.
