First lucid in many years, and the main reason I'm back on Dream Views. Nothing majorly interesting but the thrill of being lucid is what counted for me. Awake|Dreaming|Lucid The dream starts with me sneaking around a house-like building, with men on guard wandering around on duty. Anything before is hazy, but I spent a while recalling back to this point. I can vaguely remember a fragment that took place in a Halo: Reach-like area, perhaps linked to this current scene. I was crawling on a higher ground, spying through a small gap between the wall and roof, watching an armed man walk up and down. I was with someone, but I don't remember exactly who, most likely my step brother. I also barely remember some kind of animal/pet. We were spotted as we escaped the building. This section is hazy, but not long after I arrived near my home, where I did some DIY for my Grandmother, and passed through the forest next to my house to do some DIY for an old neighbour who moved nearby. I headed back to the entrance of the forest and found myself with my step brother, who had a Bannerlord-esque army formation outside my house, opposing a similar army. I went into the forest and decided to try and test if my slow-walk chase nightmares are legit of if it's just the ground's fault. I slipped up and ran very slowly as expected, and concluded it was not the dream's fault but rather the ground I try to run on. Back at the forest entrance again, my step brother suggests we light the army of soldiers on fire - to which I disagreed and insulted him in a similar way to a previous dream - a sure dream element to keep an eye on. I head back down the forest path I had just walked, but after a few steps I become instantly lucid out of nowhere. I never expected to get lucid so soon after returning - in just five nights after 4+ years. This feeling was very intense and vivid, my first thought was to focus on stabilising. I performed my main reality check and was pretty worried about losing lucidity, so I kept trying to remind myself. This, however, didn't get me very far, as I was distracted by my urge to change my surroundings. I took a few steps, and felt very sluggish and slow - almost like the previous attempts at recreating the nightmare slow-running. After failing to change my surroundings, I managed to create this very strong red tint across the trees of the forest, which shook the Earth as it rapidly grew in intensity. It vanished instantly after I lost focus on it. I ventured, at a normal pace, further into the forest, where I had a semi-lucid sexual urge for some reason. Instead, however, my brain decided to give me a dozen wooden-skinned, blank faced mannequins wearing skirts. I ran my hands across one's arm, intrigued by the surrealism and my lucidity faded rapidly. I head back, yet again, to the forest entrance where I have a hazy conversation with a bald man until the dream seemingly ends. Well, this one was really eventful considering how early I am into my return to lucid dreaming. My recall is better than it's been in years and most of the knowledge I learned during my times here in 2012 has stayed with me. Hopefully my next lucid dream will be longer and easier for me to control, and the rest of what I know deep down will return. Possible recurring elements: -Family -Anger, bottled up feelings -Local neighbourhood Notes: -Second dream I have had a negative interaction with my step brother based on bottled up feelings. Present in Dream #2 -Yet another local area, should be easy to form reality check habits this way. This local area is the forest opposite my house Lucidity notes: -Everyone vanished upon attaining lucidity, happens almost every time for me -Control mostly failed, need to improve -Stability needs improving greatly

Awake|Dreaming|Lucid I spent a while recalling this one, extracted a fair bit more than usual. I'm in an unfamiliar city, with a hotel across the road. In the near distance, just up a small hill, there is a warehouse with coffins stacked outside. A weird man invites me to follow him into the nearby hotel, which I accept. He goes first, and pokes his head out of the very top window. I head up there and upon arrival, I look outside the window and see that the coffins in the distance are empty - with some workers moving them. Within seconds, a swarm of vampires of wildly varying aesthetics fly around the top floor of this hotel building, which is now large and open like a warehouse. Many guards, presumably from the opposing warehouse, fight the vampires in an Oblivion-like fight. I decide to join the vampires, and I head down some stairs and out of the building, where I find myself fighting an Argonian female on a path near the city of Windhelm in Skyrim. I win the fight. Possible recurring elements: -Vampires -Skyrim -Sneaking Notes: -Second vampire dream out of 4

Awake|Dreaming|Lucid I have a false awakening, perhaps not the start of the dream due to being very hazy. My immediate thought was "nah I didn't have any dreams". I start complaining about things, to which my step brother, staying the night in my room, tells me that he's pretty tired of my whining. In response, I hurl all kinds of insults from my bottled up anger. I couldn't recall anything after that, probably for the best. Possible recurring elements: -Family -Anger, bottled up feelings Notes: -Bottle up feelings seems to be something that carries over from reality, I may be able to use this to form a good reality check habit

Awake|Dreaming|Lucid The dream (potentially, as far as my recall can acquire) starts with me waiting in my local town with old school friends, very similarly to the previous dream. We are waiting for buses, which follow no particular time schedule. The journeys involve random conversations with people I went to school with. The bus always ends up at the spot it picked us up from. Upon exiting the bus for the third time, I hear a cry for help in a nearby, horror movie-esque house, which I go inside and investigate. A woman is laying in a sack, tied up next to a wardrobe - I free her and she reveals to me that she is a vampire. She isn't harmful, but we hear a noise that we believe to be the owner of a house. The vampire says he is a serial killer and likely the one that kidnapped her. The dream ends here. Possible recurring elements: -Vampires -Old classmates, school -Local city centre Notes: -Two local area + schoolmate dreams in a row

First of all, this is my first post in years. Decided to keep old posts but start from #1 for my recent dream journal. Below is a colour code format to help identify the points of lucidity and which is a regular dream point. Awake|Dreaming|Lucid The dream starts in my local riverside village, with a group of who I think were students went to school with. We were approached by a man who would talk about movie trailers, and would show us various ones. Eventually, traits of the movie trailer would merge in with the surroundings - a child-size car driven by two small darkskin elf-like people sped by, crashing into nearby objects. Chaos ensued, as the trailer man mentioned a lack of ice cream was causing issues in the village. Not long after, the group and I headed over to an ice cream stall and worked a shift to provide the people with blue ice cream. As far as my recall goes, this is where the dream ends. Possible recurring elements: -Old classmates, school -Local village Notes: -Not much I can utilise here, but it's a start -I have been to the local village before in dreams
Jamie A good dream for once. Just sitting on a couch with Jamie with my arm around her and i think she is reciprocating. she's letting me know she still cares and feels good about me. but her mood suggests she is also angry with about something? Not sure. Crazy In a semi lucid. I'm in front of a haunted mirror? not sure but i am encased in mirror on all sides of me. I feel a really evil presence so i draw with my finger on the mirror in front of me a cross and say, "The power of Christ compels you!" I say it somewhat jokingly. Instantly I'm in sleep paralysis in my bed and i hear a baby laughing menacingly at me... Alarm Not sure what was happening but i had a false awakening because of an alarm clock going off in the dream i had a FA in. Which really woke me up even though in reality no alarm had gone off....
I am flying. It seems that I’ve looked around me and noticed that I am maybe fifty feet or so up into the air. I notice the blue sky surrounding me and have to concentrate hard to keep moving upwards. There are two birds that I surpass. I notice a white fence way down below and continue using all of my willpower to stay afloat. There is music playing, seemingly just emanating from the surroundings, that I can hear crystal clear (but don’t remember) and that helps me stay afloat. I think I eventually come down. I am on a walk and almost back to the house when I notice a house with an open garage. There is an older man sitting in a chair at the threshold with what looks like a border collie at his feet. It looks like he is having a small garage sale with most of the stuff in the garage (I think the driveway is short). I walk up and start petting the dog’s soft fur. I briefly consider the possibility of this spreading the virus, but the man doesn’t seem to care. The man seems friendly and pleased to have company. He says hi, I ask how he is, and we make small talk. Despite his amiability, I sense something slightly off. I notice a box of books and a box of what looks like VHS tapes. There’s really not much more, and nothing that catches my attention. The man asks if I have a MasterCard. I tell him “I have a Visa card,” not sure why he’s asking, unless he has a card reader. I was about to leave, but he starts telling me that he wants me to leave a card since I’ve already looked at stuff. A little baffled, I tell him it’s not that I don’t trust him but I just don’t feel comfortable doing that. Mom now shows up, like she was on a walk too. I tell the man I live right across the street, gesturing to the house directly across the street, asking if that changes anything. He contemplates and then says no. Mom and I just walk away from him; he accepts defeat without a word and sits back down. I notice his kind of creepy, flyaway white hair. I am in some house; Mom is here too. I open the fridge and see that I have about ¾ of a glass of dark beer left. I wonder if it’s still good. I open some cabinets where the trash should be, but only find a ton of empty craft beer bombers.
