    1. A magical escape

      by , 08-26-2011 at 12:17 PM
      26-08-11 Golf clubs and weed.

Something about an ex girlfriend I get into a discussion with in a locker.

I hug the other party in a bed, and try soon enough to disentagle myself as it was only intended as a friendly hug from her.

Peter Scotson from Weeds is the new husband and we talk a bit and defuse the angry bitch.

I am in a dark room with Minka, I want to kiss her and be with her and I think I am making an approach, It might get a little intense, though nothing happens. We walk out onto a grass field that normally would be massive and open.

However at the current time it is occupied by a temporary fairgrounds. It is dark, it is night time and the only source of light around is small lights from the various tents and things on the grounds. We walk on the outskirts of the fairgrounds until we spot where we are headed.

There is a circle of people sat in the grass, it is a coven and their leader is sat in the middle facing off against Lafayette (Yep, true blood guy). We may take seats in the circle or I just drift in without my dream body and is sat right next to Lafayette.

Though I might be separate from him, I still am feeling the sense of agency in what he is doing. Their leader, who may be Marney (Antonia, whatever dunno if it is even centred on the vamp theme).

The leader starts summoning a water elemental, and up until now I haven't noticed the puddle of water between Lafayette and her.

The water is muddy and so is the elemental, which isn't big and looks a bit like a statuette climbing out of the water. When it is slightly over half way there Lafayette/me swats it and it crumbles. I am aware that he/me is the only one in the circle with the power to destroy these.

“You will lay the fuck down with **** and ****” (remember the names I do not) Lafayette says and I become aware that he has been thwarting attempts at whatever their leader is trying to do twice before us turning up.

Lafayette/me makes the move to finish off the leader. It is a spell and it is designed to crystallise the fluid in the cells of the eyeballs of the victim, making them burst, a vicious piece of water magic if you ask me.

The spell is fired and I expect the leader to go down. That doesn't happen, when the spell (which isn't as such visible by the way) reach the leader a bright blue flash appears from her neck. The necklace she was wearing wasn't a normal necklace.

The blue light manifests. The spell didn't hit the person, but the tiny faerie (What is with the fucking faeries in my dreams recently!? (btw I am not complaining =P)) enchanted into the necklace. She was immune to the spell and she has dark eyes, pretty much the only thing in her glowing body that is dark.

This is getting out of hand. I am in my dream body now. Not sure if I have become the person that was Lafayette or whatever. I let out a shriek, to warn the people in the fair. These were the people the leader was trying to hurt, so everyone in the coven realise that this might be a prime situation to practice running.

Luckily we are close to the edge of the grounds which is surrounded by bushes. I look out and see Minka already on her way through the bushes. I myself dart after her. It is a fucking pain getting through a piece of bush in utter darkness with human limbs flailing about. I have a plan to sort that out since this is moving way too slowly at any rate.

When I am through to the other side I shout out “Minka!”. I think I feel having her attention and I roar. She gets the message and I see her shifting into a fast animal, I myself shift into a lion(ess?) and feel the powerful muscle (though the speed seems to be lacking a bit).

Minka is a wolf and way ahead of me, but she sense that I can't follow that speed and shift into a lioness as well. I still feel my clothes on my body, which is hindering me a bit, but I don't know what I can shift into that will solve it.

We are running up a hill road, a road that reminds of one in the city I grew up in right next to the town hall. I keep running looking at Minka. At the top of the hill she shifts into a bird, a rather small one, maybe a blackbird or raven (definitely a dark bird, not sure if a raven would be too big, I am a bit far away) and takes off into flight.

I decide to do the same though I am unfamiliar with shifting into flying things. I think Eagle. I shift and leaps and get up a bit, but flying with wings is hard. I keep flapping about, but only just barely manage to keep floating.

Until I realise that I can push forward my legs which will make my wings carry more and provide quite a significant up drive. I fly high, I mean high enough to make me think “Shit this is really high”.

It must look hilarious the way I manage the height of my flight. I push forwards my legs to go up and pull em back to go down while flapping my wings the entire time. I fly over Minka and look down at the brick houses and flat roof tops.

After a short while after this I land in a yard of a small house. The terrace is sort of formed like a playground and I transform into a kangaroo when I land and jump between some of the smaller platforms for the fun of it.

Minka lands shortly after. I go to her, intending on kissing her. She doesn't allow me and says “Dennis”. There may be tears in her voice, she starts talking about how I take risks, like I just did in Eagle form.

“If you went skiing with your dad, would you jump that high” “If you drove a snow scooter, would you make jumps” and things like that. I keep thinking when I dream I fly that high, and eventually she say “When you dream” (Nice one missing the lucidity clue there).

“You don't understand I really care for you...” “but you just don't want me” I think to myself. There is a sense that I take too much risk for her to be interested in me, she might be afraid to get interested in me.

I pick her up and place her on my arm and start walking inside, carrying her like you would a baby. She is still crying.

We get inside and I see her boyfriend/ex boyfriend or whatever he is. “Darly” she says and her crying intensifies. I look at him pleadingly to take her, not because I want to let her go, but because she wants to go to him.

“Great sleeping beauty (or similar)” he says hinting at her crying, but eventually he accepts her and take her in his arms. My niece is sat on the sofa next to him and as soon as he is occupied with Minka she starts crawling out over the sofa, but I anticipated this from before I even handed Minka over to Darly and catch my niece as she starts falling.

I start looking at her while talking to her and they lie down for a short moment on the sofa. Then Minka says “Dennis” again tears in her voice, she seems hurt that I have again handed a love interest into the arms of another man and just let go.

I am slightly hurt, but I channel love into the moment with my niece and try to ignore the other parties in the situation.

She is the only person whose friendly love always shine brighter than the hurt of not being with her.
    2. 8/25/11 Kids Next Door and Earthbending

by , 08-26-2011 at 07:06 AM (Scrawlings of a Mad Man)
I wrote my day down to try to declutter my mind, as per advice from this very forum. Unfortunately, my sleep has been off because I moved into my college dorm on Sunday.

      12:00 PM -11:00 AM

      1) In a city, back alley sort of thing. With Jensen(?). Earthbend, making two foot thick rock walls rise from the ground. Perfectly square. (N
ote: The first time I've managed to use that element significantly. Last try was just a crack in the ground... Woo! Improvement.)
      2) Kids Next Door. Number 2, and two others had been changed to babies and were fighting another kid. Number 4 was a baby but not on their side. Diaper. Attacks Number 2. Next, Number 2 has a european accent and is a sniper.

    3. Cecila Hull(15/4/11)

      by , 08-26-2011 at 06:31 AM
Just before I start posting my recent dreams in my DJ, I thought I'd post this one! Just a dream I found really amazing that I had a few months ago.

I was walking down a path in the woods with a boy who was slightly taller than I was and had black, shaggy hair. The boy and I were apart of a large group of people, and I knew that someone in the group was going to die. I believe I knew who they were, too.
We keep walking down the path until we stop to watch these people in our group taking photos of this river. I look arcoss and watch some mini dingo thing die next to a rock. I find it weird but really normal at the same time and I believe it was the death I was expecting to happen. After that, we keep walking until we reach a rest-area cabin. I decide I want to go inside, but just as I step in the doorway, shaggy-haired guy(who I was apparently dating) starts running off, and I grab his hand, or he grabs mine. He brings me to a spot back in the woods and tells me, "This is were me and my ex-girlfriend had our first kiss." I got a fleeting image of a girl, and her name was something like Rebbeba or Rebbeca. He also told me, while looking off into the woods, that she was going to come back, or something along those lines. I think it's total bull and go back to the cabin.

Once I'm in the cabin and stuff, it turns out to be some gift shop(think Cracker-Barrel) and everyone there is getting possessed by these demon-spirits. I'm kind of confused, so I look around and go over to the corner shop in the cabin that's freakishly similar to Himalayan shop I'm fond of. The owners of the shop weren't possessed and I assumed it was because of all of the crystals and deity statues in the shop.
I go up to the guy running the counter and ask him if he's got any ash. He gives me a dirty look and says, "Get out of my shop."
I leave and run into my mom on my way out of the shop. She's mad at me for some reason or another, I think it's because I asked the cashier for ash or something. I give her a weird look and she poofs away.

I go over to a wooden table and find a creme colored cardigan lying on it. The cardigan has alot of patches and paint platters on it, and looks fairly worn(no holes or anything like that, though). And then I hear a voice and get the name 'Missy'. She says to me "Find Cecila Hull, he'll help you." She starts drawing out directions for me on the back of the cardigan, like a map almost. I find my way to a back room where there are about six men, all cloaked in black robes with there faces hidden, sitting on the floor and playing some card game. I sit on the floor behind them all. "I'm looking for Ceclia Hull." I tell them. One of the men hops up excitedly and his hood falls all, showing that he has brown, curly hair and looks to be about in his late teens. He says he's Cecila Hull.
I stand and look down to see his journal has flipped open. In yellow ink is a paragraph about something, I didn't take the time to read it, and at the end of it is a signature of 'Matthew' and immediately figure that he is not Cecila. I look over and see a stack of journals belonging to all of the men. "If I don't find Cecila Hull right now I am going to read all of these journals." I threaten. A baby then stands up and his robes fall off of him. He has a knobby, woodtroll like face, fiery-cinnamon like red, curly short hair, and a white diaper. He appeared very strong on solid, and his presence simply told me that he was Cecila Hull.
All of the other guys, except one, were all eaten by a suitcase. The guy who wasn't eaten had his hand in the suitcase and seemed to be digging around for something.
      And then I woke up.

    4. Lucid DCs.

by , 08-26-2011 at 02:53 AM (Spiraling Up: a DJ by Betropper)
(Too tired to underline lucidity and ect.)

I was in some sort of church meeting that had beds like the sleeping bag I was sleeping in lined up in rows. They invited us to a mandatory dinner and prayer. I had had a burger dinner before during the dream that I sort of remembered, but I was still hungry. I walked into the room where they ate and saw that it looked like my church's meeting center except filled with food. I also saw the foods on it were all assorted muffins. One of my friends told me while I was in line that they were trying to hide the food with some nonsense word. I shrugged and went to eat. I met a girl in the dream with long brown hair and while we we talking she suddenly left. The person that was talking said a prayer, but made everything he said relate to roaches. He asked us to not be murdered by roaches and things like that. I got weirded out and decided to look for the girl. Around this point I realized this was a dream. I used a trick I had devised and used my lucidity to grant myself the power to do anything. It worked, and I had perfect dream control. I teleported to the girl. She had a briefcase and was running from some agents. I quickly made lightning shoot from the sky and incinerate them. For some reason she had a floating Scrabble piece in front of her. It looked like a Z. My older brother had decided to follow me and asked me why I created that piece. I said I did not, and got angry. Something had happened before in the dream to give me a reason to be angry. I swiftly flew next to the girl and asked her what she was doing. She somehow overcame me and I teleported in front of her. It repeated for a couple times. I noticed every time I teleported I left a clock stuck on a number behind me that ticked progressively backwards. I asked if she knew what they were. She sand looked up at me and said that was the clock to the end of the world, and that my lucidity was making her job worse. She opened the briefcase and poked a button on her watch. A message came up in hologram form. She had to get the briefcase to their headquarters to use it's blueprints to help delay the end of the world. It turned off and she put emphasis on the 'delay' part, and that no matter what it would come. I took her briefcase and told her she was an idiot, she should have talked to me first. I opened it and instantly created an army of the robot prototypes that were inside it, fully ready though. She shook her head at me and said that all dreams have to end sometime. The end was only delayed by me becoming lucid and her devising a plan to keep me occupied, and that I had just ruined it by ending it so quickly. The dream faded. I had a false awakening in which my brothers were in a spaceship outside, but it only lasted a couple of seconds.

    5. too vivid...

by , 08-26-2011 at 01:15 AM (Flying Spaghetti Dreams)
last night i had an extremely vivid and disturbing dream.

i was in a house that was a hybrid of my own and my friends house.
i hear a knock on the door and it's this guy i know (we'll call him A) that has a horrible personality IRL and i dislike him with a passion.

i haven't answered the door yet but i know it's him because he's speaking (it sounds like he's reading out the course outline for one of my psychology courses) and i recognise his voice.

then i hear some other people approaching (about 15 or so, and they all sound about 16 or 17) and they hassle A. he keeps just saying random words: "consciousness, neural bases of behavior, learning and conditioning.."

then they start stabbing him and laughing cruelly

      A: "are you stabbing me?"

the stabbing sound was incredibly disturbing and realistic. i was sitting inside listening to all this and freaking out, almost feeling every stab because i can hear it so clearly.
then it stops and the mob sounds satisfied, laughing and joking about A's death
      "look, it's a dead A. hahahahahahaahah!"

all this time i want to go out and do something about it but i know i'll just be killed as well. i was pretty terrified obviously.
i hear them leave and then i tentitively go to the door and only catch a glimpse of A and then look away.
he certainly looks dead. he's lying still with blood oozing out of his stab wounds.

i decide to call the cops so i go find my cellphone. i go to back to my room (which doesn't look like my room whatsoever) and find it. i dial 2000 (the proper police number in New Zealand is 111) and hear an american voice on the other end.

"hello this is the police blah blah blah"

i say nothing, still in shock, but i'm also starting to get a little confused by this whole situation and something seems very fishy.

operator: "come forth or front from the weather"

me: "uh yeah i think they killed A, they stabbed him man...."

then i woke up and heard a bunch of laughing teenage voices in the alley that had gotten into my dreams and had become the laughing mob.

so many dreamsigns!!! and i almost figured out i was dreaming!
      dang man.
    6. The Underground Utopia and the Solution to the Vampire Problem 8-17-2011

      by , 08-25-2011 at 05:33 PM
Sean, my twin sister Frankie, and I went to visit a friend's house in a different town. This was a person I didn't really know, and they lived in a very broken-down area of the city, but we visited for a very long time. Unfortunately it was getting dark byt the time we wanted to leave and our friend insisted that we stay because there were vampires that lived down the road. They were miserable creatures that hated what they were but still needed to survive, so they only attacked people who were outside at night. If there was no one outside, then the vampires would have no meal for the day. It was sort of an unspoken agreement between the citizens of the town and the vampires that the vampires would only attack the stupid people who went outside at night and were probably causing trouble anyways. So nobody really went outside at night, and those that did were chosen for dinner.

Sean, Frankie, and I chose to go out anyway. We weren't scared, just a little anxious. We go tin our car and began driving. Right away I knew they were aware of us being outside, so I urged Sean to find shelter, quick. He obliged. We ended up about two blocks down the street and got out. People were looking at us like we were morons, but we ignored them and went into a building that I can only describe as a warehouse. This was apparently the place most homeless people went at night, since even they refused to be vampire dinner, and some of them had even formed some sort of vampire committee in the rooms in a level below. Though some vampires may have sneaked into ground floor of the warehouse every once in a while, no vampire had ever set foot down below, so we chose to go downward.

We found a small band of people who didn't look homeless at all, but who were gathered around the table discussing vampires. They merely nodded their acknowledgement of our presence and continued their plot on how to rid themselves of the vampires. if the vampires really hated what they did, they would quit feeding on humans and let themselves die. Self-sacrifice for the good of humanity. Since they didn't care enough to stop their feeding habits, however, the people felt it was their duty to kill the vampires.
I mentally agreed that it wasn't right for the vampires to feed on humans... however, I reflected that it was a common occurance in the natural world for the strongest species to prey on the weaker ones, so why did the humans feel it was so morally wrong for the vampires - the stronger species - to feed on the humans? However, self-preservation was a natural thing for any species, vampires and humans alike, so it was natural for the vampires to want to feed, and for the humans to not want to be fed on. I felt that it was hypocritical for the humans to regard the vampires' self-preservation as less valid than their own; besides, how many humans if ever faced with a similar dilemma as the vampires would choose to let themselves die instead of hurting others? Most humans are too selfish... so very few would actually contradict their self-preservative nature and let themselves die for the greater good.

Right after this long moment of reflection, my nature of self-preservation kicked in and agreed that the vampire problem needed to be fixed. Apparently the only solution was located way down below in the dungeons. Nobody knew what this solution was because nobody had ever come back from the dungeons. All died valiantly in the process of finding it.

Sean and I decided to go down there, as well as a few other people in the group. What we found down there was not exactly what I was expecting. Though there were a few monsters and deadly traps, these monsters were weak and the traps were easily avoidable. We lost a couple unsuspecting men in the very beginning, but after that the rest of us stayed on our toes well-enough to avoid everything. What stumped us the most were puzzles and levers... sort of like a Legend of Zelda dungeon. The main obstacle I can remember is a large, highly-decorated room with for lit candles on stands on the outside of a circle in the middle of the room. On each wall there were giant, similarly-decorated doors, 3 silver and one bronze door. We split up and each explored the different doors, but I was the only one that chose the bronze door. It had a large design of a monster on the front, a giant handle like a steering wheel, and a large red button on a stand to the side. I tried the handle, but it wouldn't budge, so out of curiosity I punched the red button. Cold air flooded in from the sides of the door as it suddenly screeched open, and the next thing I knew is that I was feebly dodging between the giant feet of a stampede of giant stone constructs, all blackish-grey, and probably 20-feet tall each. None of them seemed aggressive, merely intent on charging forward through the door without even a downward glance at us. It seemed there were endless numbers of them, so in a panic I pressed the red button again. The bronze door flung itself shut, blocking anymore of the constructs from coming in. When I turned around I didn't see any of the creatures still in the room, so I figured they must have gone through the door on the other side; all of the men in my group seemed highly frazzled, but shook their heads at me. Sean came up to me, and urged me to take his hand like I was a child in a grocery store touching too many things. We all decided to go through one of the silver doors instead.

I don't remember anything in particular that was through that door, but I know it took us through a long series of frustrating obstacles that left us weary and disappointed at the end, especially when we found out that it led to nowhere. We knew we had to turn back and go through that bronze door anyway. This time when we got back to the center room, we all stood prepared for what was to come as Sean went boldly forward to press the red button. This time, since we were expecting the giant stone constructs to come stampeding through the door, so we calmly stood off to the side and watched them... We were calm enough to notice now that the constructs simply dissipated in the air as they charged into the room; not only that, but there were less than ten of them, coming from a col environment on the other side of the door. We were all relieved... it must have been an illusion... and we headed forward through the bronze door.

There's another break in my memory, but the next image in my mind is of Sean's hand grabbing a silver door handle in front of us. Somehow, my mother was the third and only other person in our party now as he opened the door and we left the dark tunnel - into a glowing, bright-white indoor mall. Though I was extremely confused to find this place underground, Sean and I were elated to see that the store directly in front of us was a Gamestop.

We explored the mall for a short time and discovered that this small mall was in reality a self-sufficient little village of people, where each of the employees lived in homes above their respective stores. It didn't take us long to find a traditional gaming store either, filled with people already in the middle of card games, board games, RPGS, and whatever else. Mom decided to stand outside, having the preconception that many RPG games are "evil" in nature or whatever, but Sean and I gladly went in and joined different games. I chose to watch a card game for a while before joining in on a board game, while Sean joined in an an RPG right away.

We played for what seemed like a ling time before Sean firmly set down his game piece and stood up. "I got it," he said to me across the room. "I understand now."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Come one, we can go now," he said, motioning me to follow.
"What do you understand? Why are we leaving?" I took his arm and followed him out the door. He, Mom and I quickly began our trek back through the mall, through the door we came in, into the dungeon, and up to the surface. We passed by the vampire committee and the homeless people without hardly a word, except for Sean telling them " We found the solution." And we left the building before they had even begun their celebration of our return alive.
A few more things happened before we woke up, but I don't remember any of it. All I remember is continuing ask Sean what he meant, what the solution was, and why he wouldn't tell me...

    7. Conflict and the Sacred Dice 8-15-2011

      by , 08-25-2011 at 04:07 PM
      So much happened!

I remember waking up in bed with Sean, except he didn't look like Sean. He was still black, but he was tall and very muscular, with a large muscular chest, and I don't think he was completely human. He kept bothering me to get up because he had company coming. So we both got up and he started putting on some awesome clothes, some sort of weird armor that was a mixture of spartan and space elements, medallions, and other things I don't remember. He was some sort of military commander.

The next thing I knew he was gone and there were two other women standing off in the corner of the room; I was in a drab shirt/gown, picking up handfuls and handfuls of tiny dice from a table behind me and pouring them onto what was once the bed but was something else now. The two women kept nagging each other. One kept complaining about "Why can't I have this?" or "Why can't I be that?" while the other answered annoyedly "Because you don't have enough this" or "You haven't had training for that." Their auras were similar to that of two guys I know, Tyler and Scott, respectively.

I think that's when Sean came back. "We're moving the men out," he proclaimed. "Your men and your men," he pointed to 'Tyler' and 'Scott,' "will be headed for (some place I don't remember), and I'll send my men to (some other place I don't remember... I'm horrible at these kind of details...)." He was referring to little lego men on a game board, I reflected in my mind's eye.
"What about my little guy? He teamed up with you guys yesterday," I told Sean meekly. 'Scott' answered instead.
"He can't go with because he never fully declared his alliance with us by moving his residence to our base," he said. I knew this base was a place where my little guy would have had to risk his life and relationships to get to, and the both of us had been naive enough to think that he could be a part of this group without actually risking his life. This was no regular army, but a group of rogue soldiers who were fighting against the government.

I gave Sean a pleading look. Why hadn't he told me this?

"He's right," Sean said, "You should have known this." He turned to leave, and waved for Scott and Tyler to follow him. Sean was always the unbiased man, I reflected half-proud of him but still disappointed.

The next thing I remember is watching my Mom play a video game where her character (which looked similar to Sock Boy) was flying through the air in a Jungle area; she soon maneuvered him so that he landed on his belly on a vine-slide and slid down it for a long time as it twisted and weaved in various directions. Suddenly it wasn't a game anymore. My consciousness was following him to this hidden wooden structure that was half-built into a cave, where we could hear this monstrous noise from inside, growling and snarling and destroying things. I knew this was the place where all the sacred dice were kept. I waited silently outside until the monster emerged. He was big and ugly, and giant brownish mass of teeth, thick limbs, and ooze, looking around with only one eye. He sensed my presence (even though I had no body at this point), and charged in my direction, so I turned and ran. I needed to tell someone.

The next thing I remember is my consciousness following a gorgeous black woman as she soared through the sky. She reminded me of Storm from the X-Men, except she had really long, dark-brown hair. And she looked angry. She landed on a ledge on top of a very tall building on which one of the women from earlier stood waiting for her. This second women no longer held the aura of Scott or Tyler... I didn't recognize her at all. My focus was on the black woman, her thick, sexy lips; her white lipstick; round, piercing eyes; thin, strong arms; a long, slender, sexy neck; and the tints of grey weaved in with the few braids in her hair. This woman was in her early forties but still seemed very strong. She approached the other woman - who was not fully human - and got right in her face. She began blaming the other woman for the monster in the dice keep, demanding to know who had leaked its location and why. The other woman became furious and tried to defend herself. Finally she got right back into the first woman's face and put her foot down.
"I CHOSE to work (with whatever organization at some specific time which I don't remember) so I could HELP you protect it, to work WITH you!"
The black woman took a step back, knowing she was wrong to have blamed the second woman. But she was still angry.
That's when my mother woke me up.

I decided to experiment with alarm timers last night.
What I basically did was setup my pc so that it would produce a very loud beep at certain times during the night in order to wake me up.
I figured this way I wouldn't have to move (to turn off an alarm for example) and I could make numerous WILD / DEILD attempts during a single night.
This is obviously not a new idea, but I haven't tried anything like if before.
I set the alarms to start after approximately 5 hours of sleep, and then repeat in intervals of 20 minutes for 2 hours.

I wake up thinking the first alarm must have gone off, but I didn't really hear anything.
I'm a bit disorientated but try to remember any dreams.
I recall there being some dream with me driving my car, but no specifics.
Then the alarm goes off. It's quite a bit louder than I thought it would be.
Weird, I must have woken up before it actually went off for the first time.
I then attempt to WILD but fall asleep too quickly.

      *BEEP*
That must have been the second alarm. Unfortunately I moved quite a bit, I think a DEILD is out of the question.
I try to recall any dreams but I can't remember anything whatsoever.
I close my eyes and attempt another WILD.
Surprisingly, I immediately get quite strong HH.
Not only do I get pretty vivid images and lighting flashes, but I also hear voices.
This is quite odd, it's never this intense...
      Hold on a second...
I open my eyes and to the nose plug RC.

I'm dreaming! This is a FA... of course... how did I not think of that?
I float out of bed towards my pc to see if there's anything on the monitor, but it is turned off.

I wake up again, pretty sure of having heard the last half of the alarm sound.
I wonder if this is another FA and realize that this method will obviously cause quite a few FA's and I can't test for them properly if I'm not supposed to move.
But I moved yet again anyways, so I just plug my nose again. I'm pretty sure that I'm awake.
I attempt another WILD, this time focusing stronger on remaining conscious.
I feel more "clear in the head" than before and feel like I have a good chance of success.
I quickly get vivid blue plasma HI, followed by faint memories of images.
They go on for a short time and I am unsure of what I'm supposed to do, so I just wait it out, hoping to enter a lucid.
A first scene forms of be being on a couch with a few people I do not know.
I am right on the verge of entering a lucid dream, I know it, but the scene vanishes.
But is is quickly followed by another scene.
There's snow... a road... people walking the road towards... some kind of temple?
It looks Japanese... people are wearing kimonos.

It's now or never, I have to act.
I try to jerk my dream body forwards, into the scene...
Gravity! I fall for maybe half a meter and my feet hit the snowy road.
My whole body is buzzing, but these vibrations quickly turn into senses.
I can feel the cold wind on my skin and... ouch!
My feet are SO COLD. I'm standing barefoot in the snow.
It is so cold that it nearly hurts, but for some reason it feels really good.
I try to further stabilize the dream by rubbing my hands, but then I get a better idea.
I grab some snow from the road and rub it over my naked chest and it feels incredibly good.
The coldness even causes me to shiver.

Some DC's are giving me odd looks as they are walking past me towards the temple.
I decide to join them and investigate what's going on in the temple, it's not very far away.
This dream is really stable. I bet it has to do with the constant feeling of coldness, which is triggering many of my senses.
I wish coldness and snow would feel this awesome in waking life... I hate winter in waking life.
I reach the temple, which is more of a gate actually.
Behind it is a meeting of many Japanese people wearing traditional clothing.
There's water in the center, a bit like a swimming pool, but very natural.
Some women are dancing on this water, with particles of light floating out of the water.
It reminds me of a scene from FFX:

      I wake up yet again.
I wonder if this is another FA.
Not wanting to move, I attempt to levitate my dream body upwards... which sort of works.

I have some trouble separating my dream body from my real body, but finally I'm floating in my room.
It's different from before, it's like I still feel the attachment to my real body.
I have to think of this dream: Out of body? - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views
I try to avoid looking at my real body still in bed, remembering that it freaked me out last time.

      I wake up again.
This time I managed not to move, I even still have my eyes closed.
I try not to think, but I end up thinking that I want to meet Yuya.

A new dream scene forms... it's Teraluna!
Amazing! I look around and notice that I'm sort of floating in the air.

      "Hyu..."

      It's Yuya!

      "Hi!"

      She points towards the ground.
I look down and realize that I am floating about 2 meters above the ground.
And obviously, at this specific moment, I stop floating.
I fall into a tiny river which is right next to Yuyas place.
I quickly emerge from the water and hold on to the terrace the river is flowing by.
Yuya is right in front of me and bursts out laughing.
I have to laugh myself, this is so typical of me.

I get out of the water.
The shock of falling into the river was actually a good thing, it "woke me up".
I talk with Yuya about numerous things, including the dream I just had where I rubbed snow onto my chest.

"I thought you didn't like snow."
"I certainly don't in waking life."
      "You call it mud."
"It usually is, but the snow in the dream was so pure, it was so different."

We're sort of staring at the landscape during our conversation and I casually put my left arm around her waist.
Where does this confidence come from? Usually I'm quite shy around her for some reason.
After we discuss a few more things Yuya presses her back against my chest.

      "Hold me!"
      "Okay?"
      "Hold on to me!"

I put both of my arms around her wondering what's going on.
Within a split second everything turns very dark and my body vibrates.
I can hear the very loud sound of the alarm going off.
I no longer feel, I can't hear anything besides the alarm and I can barely see.
I try to concentrate on the warmth of Yuyas body which is pressed against mine, since it's the only thing I'm still able to feel clearly.
As the alarm sound stops, my senses gradually come back and after a few seconds I can see and feel clearly again.

      "Holy shit!"
"Did we just prevent myself from waking up?"
      "We did indeed."
"This is amazing... You're amazing! ..."
      "Ain't I?"

She says, sticking out her tongue. I have to laugh.

      "Let's go!"

Yuya grows water wings and takes off.
I quickly summon my phoenix wings and go after her.
We leave Haven and fly through the tree crowns of Teraluna.
We're flying quite a bit slower than last time, enjoying the mysterious and beautiful landscape of Teraluna...

I wake up again and decide to take some notes.
I look at my mobile to check the time and realize that all 6 alarms have already passed.
I must have missed a few of them.
I go back to sleep and wake up again after a total of 9 hours of sleep.
But I still feel sort of tired. I did have 6 alarms going off during the night, I guess this makes sense.

Anyways, this was an interesting experience, and I'm probably going to try this again soon.
The feeling of preventing yourself from waking up was quite something!
    9. C being all cute :3

      by , 08-25-2011 at 11:41 AM
So you know how I like that one guy right? The guy I refer to as "C"..but I will call him K-Love now (that's his nickname that some people call him) Well we've become pretty good friends and yeah. :3 This is a dream I had that was mostly about him...except this first part.

I was on a plane i belive with my friend Kaitlynne. I was terrified because they said we were about to crash. Something in the Plane's computers had gone wrong and there was no way they could stop it. And as our speed picked up, we realized that we were not going to survive unless we left the plane, with parachutes. Kaitlynne and I put on ours and we go to see our youth pastor. He tells us that God will protect us, unless it is our time to go. But even if we die, we will be in heaven and everything will be okay. He tells us to pray for courage and strength... I don't actually remember jumping off the plane with my friend.
      (time skip)
I am at a party. There is a pool. My friend and I swim around in it for a while, but don't seem to get wet at all. When I got out, I heard K-Love somewhere. I went to find him. I found him with one of his friends and they were doing somthing...I don't remember what it was. I think it had something to do with music or drumming. Then I go into the church and he is there now, too, but I don't notice. He comes up behind me and pokes my shoulder and then messes up my hair with one hand. I turn around and he just smiles at me. Then, a few seconds later, this kid wants him to play Wii with him. K-Love says that he would later.
      (time skip)
I am outside with my friend Sarah from church. We see K-Love and his friend drumming. I grin at him and watch him. We make eye contact a few times, smiling at each other every time.
      (time skip)
I am in a large cafeteria-like room. We are eating. The thing is, the plates are just large chips. There are no good ones left, only fragments. I sigh and pick up the biggest shard I can find. A lady comes up and says "There you go, that's a good one." Then I give her this 'are you stupid?' look. Then I wake up.

So yeah I kinda liked this dream. Other than the fear of death I had during the airplane part. Recently I've been talking to K-Love more and more. The two of us have a great number of things in common. We even love the same parts in a certain movie from a certain trilogy. We are both musical and we love horses greatly. We even like the same breed of horse...Quarter Horse. I really like this guy and I hope he likes me back. I've caught him looking at me before. It was cute.

    10. Run-in with Death, and Betrayal 8-8-2011

      by , 08-25-2011 at 01:09 AM
I was standing out of the door frame of a small-ish vehicle floating out in the middle of a lake. Two other people were with me, whom I didn't recognize but I knew they were my friends, one guy and one girl. I wasn't myself, for the most of the dream. I felt like a guy. My consciousness kept flickering back to myself, but for the most part I felt like I was a guy I know in real life named Shane.
The three of us were on a mission to meet someone - Satan. Images of magazine covers and internet articles flashed in my mind's eye with 'Satanism' and similar titles in big bold letters. I knew that the writers of those articles knew very little of their subject matter, that it was all just religious hype and media frenzy... but I knew. In fact I was on my way to meet the man right now.
I could see a small group of figures across the water, hovering above the surface, all in white tunics and slouchy pants pulled in at the ankles... like the style of clothing Indian men sometimes wear. He was among them, feigning unawareness of our approach. Suddenly my two partners had to use the bathroom. They didn't know whom we were approaching and thus weren't afraid, but they jumped out of the car and swam back to shore. I grit my teeth in disappointment that they had left me at the most inconvenient time. I couldn't fight Him alone, and he knew it, too. As soon as I took my eyes off of my friends' backs, I knew he was coming for me. Before I was all the way turned around to face him he was already hovering over the hood of my car - it was a blueish SUV, I think. My breath caught for a second... his grin and pitch-black eyes could freeze the blood, but... the rest of him...
He was bald and pale, with soft features, and the glowing white tunic only served to make him appear more harmless. He wasn't here to kill me. My male consciousness opened his mouth and began bad-mouthing the king of the underworld, causing me to mentally face-palm. As stupid as it was to use sarcasm against the man who was probably the inventor of hurtful language, I couldn't stop my alter-ego. Our opponent's grin turned sour at such disrespect; he and my alter-ego shared a heated conversation which I cannot recall, but then I knew it was time to stop this. His slight unamusement did not prevent his tunic from emitting an almost-blinding glow from the sunlight.
I ducked our body back into the car and began frantically shutting the doors and windows. It didn't help. I knew He could drown us in a second. He didn't though. Instead he forced the passenger-side window down without hardly a twitch of a muscle, and lowered himself to stare me in the eyes. My alter-ego broke loose with insults again, much to my displeasure. Lucifer's frown slowly turned upward and my heart began to thump against my chest. Suddenly the passenger side door (upon which I was leaning) flung open as Lucifer took a mid-air-step backwards. "Oops, your door is open," he chimed, in the most soothing, melodic male voice I have ever heard, and he floated away with a soft chuckle. Only then did the car begin to sink. I quickly crawled to the driver's side and opened the door. As I stood up to jump off, the water began to get wild and I could see my friends beginning to wade back to the car, too engulfed in conversation to notice the danger.
"Guys! Don't come any closer!" I called to them. They stopped, confused, as I jumped out and swam to them. I was surprised at how fast I could even though I usually can't swim at all. just as I had reached them and stood up to explain what had just happened, my male friend noticed our sinking car. He placed a rough hand on my head and dunked me under water again.
"THIS is for letting our car go to waste!" he growled at me as I struggles to get out of his grip. I was not afraid of drowning, but I became even more angry the longer he held me underwater. Finally he released me. I stood up and passed him to hide myself behind a building nearby on the beach.
Lucifer hadn't meant to kill me, though he could have in an instant, I reflected. But my friends had just deeply hurt me by not even giving me a chance to explain myself and blaming me after I had come so close to Death. I would just let them go back out to try to save the car, and let them face the same peril I had just escaped from. I would never speak to them again.
    11. Night of 8/21

      by , 08-24-2011 at 10:06 AM (SCPantera's Dream Journal)
As any astute follower of this journal would notice, I haven't quite followed through on my recent resolution to resume dream documentation, however I do like to come back to this journal time to time to document particularly notable dreams (eg the previous post). The following is actually a dream I had a few nights ago and have been toying with the idea of writing down; it was a very haunting, powerful experience that I keep thinking about again and again.

The overarching premise of the dream was that I was dead somehow and in heaven. I want to say that the earliest part of the sequence was me living ordinarily in an area that seemed to be a common room with a bunch of offshoot dwelling rooms adjacent to a hallway that led directly to a hospital where I worked (I'll get into more detail in describing both later on), but I also suspect these may be memories within the dream (I'll clarify this later as well). Anyways, the earliest clear part of this dream took place as I somehow came to be outside the gates of heaven. I was apparently well aware of a conspiracy to keep people out of heaven, and that the primary methodology of this conspiracy was a complex maze system outside heaven's gate with a long line of people that were queued to enter heaven, and it was so constructed so as to keep people trapped, slowly moving nowhere in circles. I was at first able to see a narrative overview of this maze; people in single file line, slowly shuffling forward, many branches and loops ensuring that the people (who seemed completely ignorant of their situation and complacently moved along) were trapped. There were "employees" who seemed to be party to the conspiracy directing the flow of the lines so as to maintain things. As it were, I was just near what I knew to be the actual, true entrance to heaven, which was blocked off and guarded by a line of "employees". As I stood there trying to determine how I was going to get back in, I by chance noticed a bellboy carrying a platter of dirty dishes (I seemed to understand they delivered food to people in line). I watched as he entered an adjacent hallway marked employees only. It was unguarded, so I looked down the hallway; it was tall and wide and reminiscent of the grand hallways at a hotel convention center. The hallway went a long ways back before ending in a group of employee rooms (I assumed one of them must be a kitchen), but I also noticed a hallway branched off to the right some distance down. I looked to my right now towards the entrance to heaven and noticed another hallway opened on the other side of the line of sentries, so I decided I'd try to sneak through that way. I happened to have my messenger bag with me, so I decided I'd pretend to be a writer. I began to walk quickly down the hallway, repeating the phrase, "I'm a writer" constantly in my head as though I thought it would somehow prevent me from being caught. As I turned the corner to the right, I found that the hallway continued for some time before coming to another hallway parallel to the first. I turned another right and headed towards the exit. As I continued down this hallway I came upon a black man in a suit who waved at me in a friendly way and offered to shake my hand. As I shook his hand I only said, "I'm a writer" and then kept walking; as I passed him I could see the look of confusion on his face. I seemed to understand that he wasn't a guard, but that his job was to simply stand there and greet people. I exited the hallway into the hospital area (note this was not the area I'd seen from the other side of heaven's gate previously), which was comprised of square rooms, all hallways, some of which resembled normal hospital hallways and some of which resembled patient rooms with through paths. I knew my way back from here by memory; from the hallway square at the exit of the hallway I turned right into a room square, then left through three more squares and then right to the exit of the hospital area into my living area I'd mentioned previously. As I arrived, I slowly walked further into the room, examining my surroundings. Like the hospital area, the room was familiar to me as though I'd been living there for some time. There was a dining table in the middle of the room along one wall that was cluttered with papers and there was a television suspended on a thick pillar adjacent to the table. It occurred to me later that the layout of the main common room very vaguely resembled the living room at my grandma Isabel's old house in Halstad, and to that theme everything seemed dusty and slightly old as though the furniture, paint on the wall, decorations, and even the television were from the 80's. There were a number of people intently going about there business in the room also. As I examined my surroundings I became increasingly distressed with my disposition. I then lashed out verbally, asking if this was all I had left now in heaven, that I'd spend eternity trapped in this dusty room with some other people from the 1990's (a woman nearby in earshot glanced at me and rolled her eyes as she continued doing something), complaining that there wasn't even much of a proper internet yet. I continued, suddenly realizing that I was due to take the MPJE tomorrow but now couldn't because I was dead, meaning that I'd never been successfully licensed as a pharmacist and thus the last several years of my life spent training to that end was wasted. This angry diatribe was cut short by the realization that I'd left Laura behind and could not be sure when she would arrive or if she'd arrive at all (at least we'd already returned to her hometown, I hoped she'd find happiness again, etc.). In this strong emotional mix of anger and sadness I realized that my situation could not be real, but I could only think of ending the dream quickly instead of allowing it to continue post reality check and instantly managed to wake myself up.

When I fell asleep again I had a short continuation of this dream where I went to a buffet for food (I was aware I was still in heaven). The restaurant had many people but wasn't too crowded. It reminded me of the restaurant at Bill's gambling hall.

As I mentioned at the start of this entry I mentioned how haunting this dream has been the last few days. The reason for that is that afterwards I've been left with the haunting thought that I may have peered into the real heaven (a chilling thought given the "conspiracy", how drab the environment was, and my emotional observations towards the end). I don't genuinely believe this now (the fact that heaven is historically described as more paradise in nature, consideration that this may represent hell rather than heaven, and my ultimate awareness that this was a dream all heavily discount this notion), however I believe it does represent a phenomenon I referred to previously as "dream bleeding", where elements of the dream have remained strong in my consciousness long after the dream has ended.
    12. "universal sign for play!" May 10, 2011

      by , 08-24-2011 at 04:41 AM
Me and jr were in our room picking out a movie to snuggle too. His mom knocks on the door. We tell her to come in. She says " I can't figure out how to press play on the movie." I tell jr " let her figure it out on her own!" Jr leaves to go help anyway. I wait for him a while. He did what I thought and got distracted. There was a window in our room where I could see him, simon, jr's mom and my sister? He was holding simon...asleep. This aggravated me for a number of reasons. I walked in there and knocked the hand his head was leaning on out from under his head. He woke up. I yelled "what the fuck are you doing!?" His mom said something. I don't recall. I snapped at her "this happened because your retarded! How can you NOT know how to press play on the movie!? Its a universal sign!?" Then I start yelling at jr again... "Then YOU come in here, AFTER I tell you not too, forget about me and fall asleep!? I'm leaving!". I smacked the wall and woke myself up.

    13. "the four paintings" May 9, 2011

      by , 08-24-2011 at 04:02 AM
I was driving. Some one was chasing me and jr. I was nervous. We stopped at a couple houses. I changed my clothes at one of them but don't recall what I put on. I didn't feel comfortable staying. On the way to the next place we stopped I seen a lady broken down on the road. I wanted to stop and help but I sensed the person chasing me was close. I couldn't afford to stop. I felt guilty. We stopped at another house. I we took a nap. I woke up and went out side. There was another house really close to the one we was staying. I walked up to the porch. The light was on. They had a nice outside furniture on their porch. It all matched and it was orange. Then a lady approached me. She asked me to follow her. She wanted to show me something. We walked into a room with cloth on the walls and ceiling. There was four easels on them. She pointed to where a signature should me and told me they were mine. I didn't believe her at first. Then I looked at the signatures on all of them. "They are mine!?" I got really excited. I then knew I was dreaming but didn't. I said " I need to look at these really hard so I don't forget what they look like when I wake up" The words I said were a passive observation. I didn't really take in what I had said...I stared at the paintings trying to remember every detail. I woke up looking at them. I only recalled what one of four of them looked like. It was something unlike anything I've done. A man running from birds. It was abstract looking. It looked like it was a reflection in a mirror too.

    14. " my mom would tell me !?" may 6, 2011

      by , 08-24-2011 at 03:36 AM
I was inside a house. There were a few people there. I don't recall who they were. One of the guys there hands me a bottle of absinthe. I got excited and told the guy about a bottle I had found at the daily cheap with cat eyes for decoration. I didn't drink any :/ then he told me my mom left and wouldn't be coming back. This frustrated me and I told him "my mom would tell me if she was leaving" then a a chick pulls up in an old truck...I wake up.
