    1. Werewolves...3/20/10

      I was running with the other girl werewolf, who was now also transformed. Then we ran into a friend. He had a frantic look on his face.
      "Guys, I was just attacked!" he said. " They took all the others, but I made it. I know where they are. Come on!" We followed him to the location where the captive werewolves were. I saw them in a cell on the siding of a building. BANG!
      Our friend was shot. We quickly climbed up the siding, and busted into the cell. Then, more people with silver weapons approached from behind. We quickly disarmed them. (If you are reading this Loaf, this time, even though I was not lucid, I didn't turn down meat.) We attacked the people and had a meal. I then woke up.

      "Hey loser in the nerd costume," some girl said," This is girls only."
      So I was kicked out. I woke up.

He charged at me again to kill me this time. I reacted quickly, I drew a grenade and threw it in his mouth. His head exploded into pieces. And the 600-pound beast fell to the sandy turf, dead.
      It wasn't over yet. Now the Elite charged me again. I charged it as well. Both of our heads collided. Then, I used some sort of life-saving move. I was okay, and the Elite's neck snapped. The giant blue beast fell to the ground dead. I had won. Then, I woke up. Two LDs in one night! Awesome!

      "Maybe this is affordable." he said.
      "Maybe I can give you some free lead!" I shouted drawing the gun. I shot him. He fell down the stairs. Two police men showed up to the body, and of course, looked up.
      "Murderer!" one of them shouted pointing at me. Uh-oh. I jumped down off the stairs and ran. Then, I heard gunshots.
      "AH!" I shouted as a piercing breath-taking pain seared through my thigh. I was hit. But I was still on the run. I ran up to the third floor. They shot me again, this time in the back. Then, I was shot again in the arm. I ran downstairs. I was shot again. Right in the leg. I ran into the art room. And of course, the first thing everyone saw was the gun in my hand. They screamed. The art teacher calmed them down.
      "Hide back there!" he told me. I ran to the hiding spot and sat down. I was now sitting in a pool of my own blood. A friend ran over and sat down to help me. Then, I woke up.

The four drunken perverts from my secret agent dream! This time, I was lucid, so it was a for sure win. I beat the **** out of the leader. But his three other friends, turned into werewolves too! I didn't have any silver, or the common sense to make any appear, so they got away. We will meet again in my next LD. Then I'll have something up my sleeve for them!

    6. Odd Way of Hiding

      Thomas and I were playing some sort of intense game of hide and seek. It was snowy. And very cold. I run around some house and down a big hill. At the bottom of the hill there is a small shelter. Like a lean-to shelter. I crawl into and and Tom is right behind me. He tries to show me a good way to hide. He shows me to thrust your body under the the snow and hide under it. You put your body so far down into it that its just your head sticking out. I remember it being very, very cold. Then Tyler comes. He finds us so we go inside. Hes pissed. I also remember having cigarettes in my pocket and for some reason, they kept getting soaked and soggy (throughout the dream.)

    7. Detention.

      I was ordered to stay after school in order to fulfill some type of punishment. I decided to leave. My car was under a school bus, so I got in and put it in neutral and it slid out from under the bus. Then I started it up and drove towards the road. However, when I got to a stop sign, a Suzuki Vitara drove by with the detention teacher in it. She waved for me to follow. I ended up following her, for fear of getting in trouble.

    8. Mission Space... At the Mall?

      Dream 1 - Mission Space

      Type: regular dream.

      This dream began in a mall-like situation. I was in a hallway, similar to the atrium of a mall, but the walls were much closer even though the ceiling was high up. I was walking towards an open box-like space in this mall 'hallway', with my sister and my father. The walls and floor were of a typical mall location: tile, slightly dirty from people walking on them all the time, with off-white walls.


      That's when I saw the Mission Space sign to the left, just before the opening. It looked like the picture above, but at a smaller scale and less bold, as if the colors were less saturated, or paler. I didn't think anything unusual of this, even though the only Mission Space ride is at Disney World. The next instant, I eagerly asked my father if we could go on. He said sure, and so all three of us got into the single capsule (click here to see what it looks like in real life). It looked the same as that, except that the four seats inside the capsule were all closed off from one another, separated by a thin wall. So once I got inside, I couldn't see my father or sister. I paid no attention to how I managed to get inside, into the middle seat even though I couldn't recall the walls coming out or opening up to allow entry.

      Then, the simulation started.

      I recall it looking shockingly similar to the real thing, except that the screen in front of me looked like a slightly fuzzy television screen: one of those with the slightly convex screens with bits and pieces of static all over, and it was not as clear as it should have been. I even felt slight G-forces, or something similar to that, as the ride took off. On the screen, I saw the end of a straight roller coaster track, and then I felt the beginning of forces acting against me as the simulator began working. But soon enough, I felt the dream fading. I began to lose my sense of touch even though I was holding two handles on the sides of the ride, almost like a numbness, and my vision was getting dark. I suddenly realized that was is a dream, but unfortunately, it was too late. I resolved to DEILD as soon as I got back in bed.



      Dream 2 - DEILD

      Type: DEILD.

      It worked. I managed to think clearly enough of the inside of the capsule, where I was inside my last dream, as well as imagine the senses of touch, smell, and sight regarding the ride. I ended back up inside the ride. Now, I just had to get out of it. I panicked for a second, but then I summoned a big red emergency button. It looked like one of those glass ones, with very red coloring and a slight light emitting from it. I pressed it and the ride capsule opened, front-first. I got up and walked straight out of it, and I realized now that I could do anything I wanted. I shouted "yes, I DEILDed!" as I usually do and started running towards an exit door that I summoned. I could see, in the corner of my eyes, a couple DCs staring at me like I was a psychotic person, but I didn't stop to explain; I had precious time to spend in this dream. I turned a corner and I emerged out into a city-like area with a large brick building; tan bricks, some triangular roofs...

      But then I woke up.

    9. Demon Fish and a False Awakening

      Dream 1 - Evil Fish

      Type: regular dream (nightmare).

      In this dream, I was initially inside a regular office building. It had white walls, desks, and basically whatever makes up an office building. I was on a mission to find someone, and one other person was working with me, although I wasn't sure who. They were on the lower floor, skimming the ground level to find who we were looking for. There was a large square opened up in the wall of the building, which I jumped out of. I landed on the top of another building, slightly lower than where I jumped from. There were three or four other buildings beside this one arranged in a cluster, close enough to jump from one to the other, and I did this, looking for a way down since I didn't find the person up here. I found a rope which I slid down the side of the building, but didn't burn my hands in the process. At the bottom, there was another hole, in the wall of the building I just slid down from, and it was dark inside. Nothing.

      I felt foreboding emanating from the hole, so I tried to walk past it quickly. As soon as I stepped in front of it, two demon-like fish creatures, one pale maroon and one steel blue, shot out and killed me. I remembered seeing their extremely long, sharp teeth, but didn't feel anything as they ripped me apart. I watched in third-person which was a pretty horrifying experience.



      Dream 2 - False Awakening

      I woke up from this nightmare, or so I thought.

      My eyes were closed, but I was staring into a blurry sea of turquoise and mint green. I knew I was dreaming, not only because of this, but because I felt funny, almost numb. I opened my eyes and realized that I was lying down on a solid wooden bench, like something a 5-year old had carved out from a block of wood. Maybe the dream changed the location because I already knew I was dreaming, and wouldn't believe the false awakening.

      I was in an almost rainforest-like setting, but it was less realistic in color. There were many pink plants and violet leaves, which was intriguing but at the same time, uninteresting. I got up and saw a path to the left. It was purely dirt with a few small grey stones embedded, reminding me of the film Alice in Wonderland that I had watched the other day.


      The dream faded.

      Poor recall again last night... I was too lazy to WBTB and I played Fable for a few hours before I went to bed, so most of my dreams had a game-like quality.

      1- Bloodwitch
      I am alone at home except for a small baby I am watching for the neighbors. I go in the storage shed, to a place where I had drawn a pentagram on the floor in white chalk. I want to do some kind of spell, but I don't know how to begin. I decide to call someone. I get out my phone and call this weird stoner guy ((who is actually a character in Fable, and has nothing to do with magic)) to figure out how to cast a spell. I tell him that I am a bloodwitch, that I just started practicing magic and that I want to learn how to do a cool spell. He says he'll come over.

      Later, everyone finds out about what I was up to, and the mother of the child I was watching is furious for letting that stoner near her kid.


      ((I'm only typing that one up. There were more, but they're all mixed up now and not very interesting.))

    11. Squished

      Ran over a puffin yesterday in my dreams.

      I was in a vehicle with two of my friends. We were somehow all in the front row, even though there should have been only two seats; I can't remember if there were more or not. Anyhow, my friend was in the driver's seat, driving us along a divided highway. On each side of the asphalt there was a concrete barrier, even though past that there was only grass and trees.

      We drove for a little while and then two birds came into view, a Canadian goose was right on the yellow strip diving the two lanes, and a puffin, which was more over to the right, where we were driving.


      The goose was larger than the puffin, which I believe was correct. However, my friend somehow didn't see the birds, and drove right over top of the puffin (the goose was on the center of the road, whereas we weren't). I look back at the birds.

      The puffin is on its back, the middle of its body squished, and bleeding. I told my friend, "holy crap! You just ran over a puffin!"

      She turned around and looked through the rear window, letting go of the wheel. "I didn't know!" she told us, and started to cry.

    12. Research Station Fragments

      1. I go to visit my friend P, who is living at the rural research station I currently live it IRL. We talk of nerdy things and eat cake in the library, nothing outrageous or illegal, and then my mom comes to pick me up. Out of the blue, P asks where we should do weed next time; I fear for my mom ever letting me visit the kid again, but he seems nonchalant.

      2. While talking with P in the library about applications of force, I find a rocket launcher and use it to bring down a nuclear-armed helicopter. I go back in, then realize another chopper is on the way. This time the rocket fails, and I see the chopper fly up to drop its nuke. Not wanting to die alone, I tell P I have to go do something, and climb the steps to seek out a crush from the research station named V. She's walking to her car as I climb up, and from the stairs I call out for her to wait. When I get down, I explain the situation, and she agrees to let me not die a virgin. There is some confusion as to where we'll do it, but the dream ends before anything,

      Why Doesn't Anyone Believe Me? (WBTB)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      After I had my last dream I was determined to have a longer WBTB. I focused on bringing back the beer tap onto my wall. I opened my eyes and began messing with a small square of metal that was loosely screwed into my wall. Instantly recognizing that it didn't belong, I knew I was lucid and decided to tighten the screws to increase lucidity.

      My room was so vivid and exact, I didn't want to believe I was asleep. It was the most real dream I've ever had. I got out of bed very slowly. It felt real. I grabbed my cell phone. I didn't know what to expect when I turned it on, but it seemed to function normally until I turned on the camera. I could see through my wall and to the street behind my house. It was still dark outside, and the headlights were bright on the screen of my phone. When I looked up from the screen there were people in my room holding onto handles similar to those on buses. They smiled at me as I understood the fact that I was dreaming and that the dream was stable. I walked out of my room, and to the stairs. I could hear my extended family downstairs. It was time to make a grand entrance. I glided downstairs and touched down like Superman does in the movies, one foot before the other.

      I could see my aunt sitting on the couch. I decided that I should show my family that I was dreaming. I flexed my biceps and willed them to grow to ridiculous size. It got a good chuckle, and my dad patted me on the back while saying something about how I was special. I didn't think much of it. I remember walking to the entryway in my house as he told be about a new sitcom that was supposedly the funniest show ever made. I told him I'd give it a chance, but I knew that the show didn't exist.

      To explain my next feat, I must describe my entry way. When you walk in my house and look straight up, you can see the landing of th second floor. It overlooks the entryway, and it is guarded from accident by a wooden banister. From floor to ceiling in the open part of the entryway is at least 16'. I wanted to get back to my room in a fun way, so I jumped from the wood floor by the door all the way up to the wooden banister. I grabbed it on my way up and used my momentum to swing myself over it and onto the carpet of the second floor. I strolled back into my room and asked myself aloud what I wanted to do next. The first thought that came into my head was to have my girlfriend come over. I grabbed my phone and decided to meet her downstairs. This time I actually walked down the steps, but I decided first to test my dream strength on the wall by the steps. After all, it wasn't real. I punched a massive hole through the wall, smiled at myself, and went downstairs. My lucidity was starting to fade, because I was losing sight of what I wanted, but I still knew that I was in control.

      I went into the garage, and I could see that my youngest brother and my little sister were playing outside. I told them I was dreaming, but they didn't believe me. That attitude changed when I made it rain chocolate pudding. My little brother wasn't pleased, but my sister, Jenna, loved the idea of me making it rain lemonade, so I changed the rain to floating glasses of lemonade. The sun shining through them was pretty, and I stepped outside to get a better look.

      The dreamscape started to change, and I was in a backyard with people I didn't know. One was playing a silver trumpet, and I asked if I could play. It's been a long time since I've played, but being a music major in real life, I figured lucid-me would be able to do so. Wrong. I sounded just like I do in real life: so-so. That was the last thing I had control over.
      My lucid dream was ending, and I had no control over when my college counselor came out of my garage to talk to me about my schedule for the fall. I could see myself following her into the garage, but I was waking up, and that's the last thing I remember.

      The Wall's On Tap (WBTB)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      I rolled over at about seven this morning with the intent of lucid dreaming on my mind. I opened my eyes and nothing had changed, except for what looked like a beer tap on my wall. I chuckled to myself, and I knew I was dreaming. The tap said "Budheimer" or something ridiculous like that. The dream faded as quickly as it came.

      Scary Nostalgia (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      Standing in the second floor of the church I grew up in, I was talking with three people I didn't know. I know it was after church, because there were no kids in the classrooms. I don't remember the conversation, and it didn't really matter, because all of a sudden I heard a band warming up.

      One of the people I was talking to told me that it was my high school band three floors down.
      My old church does not have three floors, and this dawned on me, but I wasn't lucid. Frustrating. I descended the three flights of stairs to find my high school band getting ready to play. I took the seat that I had during my senior year, and I started talking to Lauren, the girl who sat next to my brother and I for that year. She told me that our director had her playing two different instruments, the oboe and the clarinet. She said it frustrated her, because of the humidity in the room. I noticed the air was sticky, and she demonstrated the effect on the instrument by running her nails along the black wood of the clarinet. The black peeled away like it was wet tissue paper. Underneath was pale, unfinished wood.

      Then I "woke up" in the house I grew up in. Lauren was still in my room. The room was a mess, and I was furious.
      I just spent three days organizing my room after my return from college, so obviously this emotion carried over into my dream. I heard my mother call from the master bedroom across the hall. She told me that I needed to turn the fan on in my room so she could sleep. She needed the white noise. Well, I obviously wasn't going back to bed, so I decided to get up and go into the family room. Lauren followed me.

      The family room was just as I remember it, but it had large tree brances on the ceiling acting as rafters, and a tree trunk where our coffee table used to be.

      Then came a loud banging from my mother's room, the sound of a metal door opening, and Mom screaming for her life as someone burst into the house. I was so scared by the realistic scream that I woke up.
