non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid FA / AP Staying at a hotel, managed by a friend and her husband. She introduces me to some guy, I think maybe trying to be a match maker, but I am not into it and it fails. There is a guest at the hotel which we suspect has covid, but he refuses to follow the rules and spits on his hand and grabs the doorknob just to anger us. So, basically a Karen. He also brought along an entourage, My friend suspects his entourage includes some suspicious people. She collects some of their food leftovers to analyze (I thought first for covid, but it is for DNA) and she calls the authorities. Turns out the Karen is a most wanted criminal worth a 2 million reward. My friend's husband has been a bit distracted and busy, but I notice he finally realizes of the unusual happenings and goes around trying to figure out what's up. My friend doesn't want him to know because he has this policy against denouncing the guests, even if they are wanted criminals. So she keeps it to herself and hides the money. But he saw an agent from the FBI or whatever handing her an envelope with the money and she hiding it temporariky under an armchair at the lobby. He asks me what are those samples on the fridge and looks at her notes from the past days trying to figure out what is going on. I lie to protect her and say we have been working on analyzing food quality just has he always wanted to do and that she tried talking to him a few times but he was alwasy busy. He says he noticed some guests missing and I say the guests were indeed sent away, but it was because of a covid incident and it was the health department which came and took them away for everybody's safety. He isn't so happy with my explanations, but he accepts and kinda feels proud that his wife has been doing her best while he's been kind of absent from managing. We all go out to lunch and they make up, but when he goes to the toilet I tell her we have to talk so I can tell her what I told him and that she needs to hide the money somewhere else because he saw her putting it there. I advise her to never tell him the truth, but use the money in small investments here and there so he doesn't suspect. She is very thankful for my help and we hug.
earlier: 05:00? + gym, stairmasters need to reserve one quick + card-throwing fight outside open fields/roads, engage, fight, then run away can't sleep, roll around an hour or more, get up to read for an hour or two Back to bed almost WILD: I feel myself "fall asleep" or at least "falling deeper", perk up, see some images, a dream doesn't begin, so I just relax and let my self fall asleep + in house outside city, lots of very rough/dirty menacing neighbors are huddling around some on my property some across the fence in the neighbor's. I think I recognize some of them. WBTB -- got up to read [near WILD?] + [DILD LUCIDD LD#263] outside, I see boiling pitch-black clouds in the sky advancing incredibly quickly, I run for cover down long country roads I'm indoors in a building with long corridors, I hear singing and voices, like a choir practice or a school classroom. I'm walking briskly along the long corridors and turn into a stairwell and begin to descend and get lucid. I'm very happy, at last! I continue descending the staircase, and I do a careful nose pinch to verify I'm dreaming. My and/or my nose feel a bit strange: sort of "wooden" or "stiff." But I can breathe. I engage the environment by running my hand along the stairway's banister, which is covered in something like floor carpeting (short & tight weave like a hotel carpet). I head outside, it's light, there are a few DCs mulling around, I spot a young lady and approach her. She's sort of walking away from me. There is a column outside and she sort of hides behind it, but I manage to get around it and get close to her. She seems sort of sad and not willing to "have some fun" with me, sort of shaking her head. I wake up and feel elated that I finally got lucid! + tennis: at the courts, outside, getting the balls out of the can 3-4, my play partner comes and leads me to the court we're going to play on. We're walking for a while, past a club room where a bunch of club ladies are hanging out (drinking wine?). One our right is a court but with trees and bushes growing right in the middle and I think that there's no way we can play on that! I see a court painted on the street a bit further on and think we might be able to play on that + casino(?). Sitting in a large reception area with a large-ish round desk in front of me, some other people besides me on my left, there is a large room through a door to the right (the casino?) which is empty but I think they may be opening it for operation: a large crowd of young people come in and head in there. Some are also heading straight ahead through a door which is across from me on the other side of the reception desk, there's a portable white board / cork board there (?), somebody says this is <something> about "B" High School, which gets my attention (that was my high school), and I ask "what was that?". Then I stand up and leave the area, in an outer area a former colleague (P.Jens.) drops his backpack which is open on a chair up against the wall, he says he always leaves his stuff here for when he returns later. I'm very skeptical and don't want to leave my (tennis?) stuff here, even though it would be convenient, because I wouldn't have to carry it with me, but I'm pretty sure it's not safe to store here.
