    Fragment of Dreams

    1. 06/18/10 Book of Darkness: Access Denied

by , 06-20-2010 at 05:41 AM (New Dream Adventures of Raven Knight)
Note: The rest of what happened in this night consists of dream fragments. There are several fragments here, and I am listing them all together.

      *The Simpsons*
I was watching an episode of the Simpsons on television. Bart Simpson was sitting in his bedroom working on some kind of a computer. He was laughing as he typed things in. The scene shifted to the Simpsons living room. Suddenly I was sitting on the couch between Homer and Lisa. Marge was in the kitchen doing something, Maggie was on the floor sucking her pacifier, Santa's Little Helper was curled up and sleeping, I had Snowball II on my lap purring. I watched the news. Kent Brockman was giving the news.

"So rest assured, my fellow alcoholics," Brockman said, "The next shipment of beer is already on its way. In other news… uh… you really want me to read that?! Ok… not that this is news… everyone knows that… alright! I'm reading it! In other news, Homer Simpson's butt has been assigned its own zip code, and is now officially known as the largest ass in the world. Better watch out if that one farts! Hahaha… um… you don't seriously want me to do that, do you? But seriously… Alright! Yes, I want to keep my job!" Brockman climbed up on the news desk, turned his back to the camera, dropped his pants, bent over, started mooning the camera and bobbing his butt in rhythm to My Humps by the Black Eyed Peas… "My butt… my butt… is smaller than Homer's butt… My ass… my ass… would fit up Homer's ass…"

Homer was getting madder and madder. He finally turned off the television and went upstairs to Bart's room. Lisa and I were following, looking to see the train wreck about to happen up there. Homer barged into Bart's room and snatched the laptop device from Bart, telling him it is wrong to mess with the news and to stop making that poor reporter look like a fool… Homer took the device and went back downstairs. He set the device on the coffee table. He watched the news a bit more, it was the weather… and then went back to Kent Brockman. Homer kept looking sideways at the laptop. He finally picked it up and started typing on it and laughing like a kid.

"And today in sports," Brockman was saying, "… uh… come on, people, seriously? Alright, alright… Highlights in sports today include a new contest that is all the rage here in Springfield. The person to drop the most scorpions down Ned Flanders' pants will receive a special trophy commemorating the length of time it takes before Flanders is able to sit without pain."

"Hey, Homer!" Bart said, having just come downstairs, "How come you get to play with it and I don't?!" Insert canned laughter here…

      *Nexus of Worlds*
I was in a hallway. I was walking down the hallway, and I could see there were doors on both sides of the hall. All of the doors looked the same, and the hall appeared to go both ways from where I was without any sign of ending. It looked like a typical office hallway. But there was no end in sight. I walked down the halls for a ways and looked at one of the doors. I wondered where all of them went. I opened a door and found myself staring out into the vastness of space. Stars, a distant galaxy, a comet flew by… and amazingly there was no pressure change, I didn't get pulled out into the vacuum… I closed the door and went to the next one. It opened into a human rainforest. There was something in the trees approaching fast… I closed the door. Another door led to a raging flame. Was the building on fire now? I shut the door and kept going… Another door led to a scorched desert… the next to a cave… and the next to… waking up.

      *Book of Darkness*
I was in my bedroom. I was lucid. I was sitting on my bed looking at what appeared to be an ancient book. The book was locked closed tight. I wanted to get the book open. I looked at the book very closely. I was looking for some kind of keyhole or lock that was keeping the latches in place. I couldn't find one. I wondered how I could possibly get it open… I played with the latches a bit, but it was getting nowhere. I thought maybe I could ask Q. When I thought of him, Q appeared as if I had summoned him. He looked at the latches. He said those were energy locks. They would only be released with a certain energy flow. I wondered what the book would want… I tried to use a flow of stable dark energy to prove I could control that energy once I had it. The book vibrated in my hands but didn't open. I tried light energy, to show the book I had not given myself completely to darkness… the book vibrated some more, but nothing else happened. I thought maybe I had to use both dark and light… show I can control dark but hadn't gone completely over to it. The book was vibrating quite violently now. Was it going to unlock? Would I finally see inside? I got so excited I woke myself up… Damn!

      *Criminal Mindlessness*
I was in the living room of a house I didn't recognize. I looked around. It was a very nice looking home, although it was a bit cluttered. There were kids' toys around, a couple of game systems plugged in to a big screen TV, some of the games lying around, a half finished glass of soda on one of the end tables. I wondered where I was and how I had gotten there… I was about to sneak back out before I got in trouble when I heard a scream from the basement. I headed down the stairs to the basement. The basement was an unfinished basement, with the wall beams still visible. There were people tied tightly to those beams… five of them, all naked and gagged. A man, a woman, and three kids that looked to be around 4, 8, and 12 years old. The youngest one was crying openly, it was a little girl. The 8 year old was also a girl, the 12 year old was a boy. There was a large and ugly man pacing in front of the people. There was a pile of charcoal around each of the prisoners. And the man wasn't just pacing… he was squirting something at the coals… it was lighter fluid. The psycho took out a match and prepared to set the charcoal ablaze. All of those details had really only taken me a second to see, and that was all I needed to see…

"Hey!" I yelled to get the asshole's attention, "Why don't you pick on someone who can fight back?"

"Ahhh," the man said as he smiled at me, "More fun." He threw the match into the charcoal. The coals didn't burst into flames as I had expected, the flames stayed buried in the coals. The coals were heating up to red hot, and the heat from the coals was burning the people's feet and lower legs. The people were screaming through their gags and struggling pointlessly against their bonds. The man said the music of their screams was perfect for killing to. He came towards me, he was muttering about what he was going to do to me… cut me apart? Let me burn with the others? He said he would have to be inventive with someone foolish enough to walk in on his play time. He said I was making him all hard, so that was the first thing he wanted… he came towards me rather quickly considering his size. He reached out for me and I easily dodged to the side. I wondered what I was going to do now that I had his attention… if only I had a weapon… but then I did! Out of nowhere a sword appeared in my hand. Awesome! I didn't know where it had come from, but it would do great. The man looked quite shocked… and that was also how he looked when he died. Shocked, as my sword ran him through the chest. I went to get the people free. It was a nasty setup. The coals below their feet were smoldering and putting off a lot of heat which was burning their feet and legs badly. They weren't tied to the beams with rope… they were tied tightly there with barbed wire! The barbs were digging into the prisoner's skin in many places. I scattered the coals from their feet first… then I found a wire cutters and cut them free as carefully as I could. The woman seemed oblivious to her wounds as she grabbed each of her children and then her husband in relief that they were all still alive. She then came over and hugged me tightly, thanking me for showing up at the right time. I thought their wounds must be very painful… I was wishing I could do healing IWL. I was thinking about Voices from the Macross Plus soundtrack. The song played… I sang it… and their wounds healed! Wow! Maybe if I wanted it badly enough, magic would work for me IWL! But that hope was crushed when I woke.

      Bees:
I was on a playground, since, I recall seeing the green grass underneath my feet. I think I feel something on my back. I put my hand where the feeling is and kill whatever it was. Turns out that there was a bee there which almost stung me. I felt a bit odd but it was possibly shock, since, no pain was felt.

      Work with Juice:
I was at work and making some new juice. I made the first mixture which consisted of putting a bird with some sugar. I made another mixture, this time using spiders and sugar. I tasted it, it had an interesting flavour which is pretty difficult to describe.

Thoughts: Well, fragments again. I only recalled my bee dream later on in the day and as for the juice one, well, let's just say that drinking birds is NOT something I'm interested in One thing I've noticed is that I'm dreaming about work a lot lately, possibly due to thinking about it during the day. It could be a new dreamsign depending on how long it lasts. I do seem to be remembering more dreams, but, they are pretty short. I do miss my longer dreams and I do miss having LDs

      Canary Escape:
I was interested in putting some lettuce for our canary who was sitting in his teal and white cage. I put the lettuce on top of the cage on the left side. He went to eat it. I turned around for a split second and turned back and he is now standing outside the cage on top of the lettuce and he is starting to eat it. I noticed this and told my mom.

      Work yet Again:
I am at work again doing similar tasks to my previous dreams and to RL.

Thoughts: Would have been interesting to have a LD, but, I've been lazy on my RCs lately and changes are changing rapidly on my end.
    4. #82. Eggplant

by , 06-19-2010 at 10:05 PM (Things to Run Away From Really Fast)
I was amused to note that my tag cloud this morning said "boring sex".

I go grocery shopping in the kitchen.

I'm cooking dinner for my family, but I'm missing a few ingredients. Fortunately, our kitchen is in the middle of a grocery store.

I run around the grocery store, grabbing vegetables mostly. I'm very happy when I actually manage to find some sesame seeds (which are in short supply around here).

I start scanning the items through an empty checkout, but one of the employees says she needs to help me with that. We try to figure out if we should scan the eggplant, which has already finished cooking.

I'm in the living room of my oma's old house in Ixburg. We're playing a game that's kind of like pictionary or sharades, except you're writing keywords on a chalkboard. My dad throws a VCR tape of Star Wars under the chalkboard, and I try to remember what the rules are.

"Dutch word for 'father'", I write on the chalkboard. My teammates don't get it.

ETA: Also, a Sailor Moon-related fragment. Serenity may have been involved. I don't know; something was trying to destroy the world again.

      Eggplant. Scare Factor: 1.

    5. A Regretted Decision

      by , 06-19-2010 at 06:01 PM
      June 18 2010

Not a good night for dream recall, In fact I didnt even remember these fragments until later this morning at the end of my WBTB attempt.

The first thing I remember is watching my friends drive away through the trees. They were going to go hang out somewhere, and I requested to be dropped off here in this odd wooded area. I quickly began to regret the decision, confused I went and knocked on the door to this odd looking building, I cant begin to imagine its purpose there. In the building were three people, two men and one women, one of the men answered the door with a smile, but not for me, clearly a facial expression left over from the conversation I interupted. He said something I cant recall and another man came to the door. He started telling me what I have to do if I want to leave and I remember him telling me that I have to insert coins and call for a ride using the payphone that I didnt notice before. I told him my intention wasnt to do all that but simply call for the ride and I told him "I have no coins." Eventually he surrendered his cell phone and told me to make it quick. I called but the call didnt work or something, this is where it starts to get really hazy, he got mad after the first call failed but he let me try again. I was pacing while I was talking, and at somepoint the location of the dream changed to my kitchen, really hazy and then the dream ends.

The next fragment picks up in this cabin somwhere, atleast thats what I made it out to be. And my friends were there and so was this chick named Ashley. I remember she was facing the couch with her knees on the cusion talking to alex who was behind the couch, so she was kind of bending over and i remember staring at her ass going "Damn.". Eventually I walked over there to her left and I think talked to them and the dream ended. All i could remember.

I think the problem is im getting to much sleep and being way to lazy. Rather than 1:30 to 12:30 and doing nothing through the day ill start waking up at 9 and being more active during the day. Hope it helps the recall.

    6. Sun Sets Over Ocean

by , 06-19-2010 at 05:57 PM (A World In My Head!!)
      May 20, 2010

Synopsis: My fail to RC as I dream about lucid dreaming. A very peaceful dream as I watch the sun set.

      Sun Sets Over Ocean
Water is still showing up in my dreams. I dreamed about lucid dreaming. *I'm so dumb!* I was on the beach trying to observe every little detail for my dream practice. I found giant awesome shells, bright bright colors. I couldn't believe that no one else had grabbed them yet! I mean, the biggest one was as big as my head. I imagined the reason why no one grabbed them was because there is some law protecting the shells here.

People were happily swimming in the ocean as the sun was setting. And they were starring at me funny because I refused to take a dip. Believing this was reality, I was actually disgusted that people would go in the water! This was the gulf coast after all, there's something slimy and not so nice in the water. But I told myself, that I should dream of the ocean instead *me tard*. This way I can go in the water without fear of catching some disease! (Last time I went to corpus there was a giant sign that read "BACTERIA LEVELS ACCEPTABLE"...what does that mean? That some days it's not?
      )

While the sun sets every day, to us on the beach it's like watching the sun set for the first time. As the sun nearly disappears over the horizon it gets very very dark. I could barely see! I quickly horde my sea shells and some random wooden artwork that drifted ashore. I take a quick look at the horizon to see an orange speck disappear.
Everything goes completely black. It wasn't like a real sun-set, more like a switch being turned off. It felt completely natural to be in this blackness around me. I could still feel the summer warmth and sense the people around me on the sandy beach. After a while light comes back as the stars starting flickering on. I quickly run back inside like a pack rat with my stolen goods.

I missed a good swimming opportunity
    7. We Dreamers Begin Recreating The World

by , 06-19-2010 at 05:19 PM (A World In My Head!!)
      May 6, 2010

Synopsis: Second dream. After becoming lucid I remember why I'm here, to create a dream world with other members of DreamViews. But in the dry desert, I lose my lucidity all too soon.

We Dreamers Begin Recreating The World
I'm in a small room, and the atmosphere is comfortable. I'm with friends, but friends to be honest, I barely know. Still I like everyone so far. Some of my new friends are explaining something to me, but I really don't understand it. They're talking about things that seem far-fetched and impossible. Others were turning their crazy ideas into art projects. One slightly plump blonde shows me her artsy project.

I think the reason why I don't understand the conversation is because it has to do something with lucidity, a conversation I can only understand if I am lucid.

We go outside to do what were supposed to be doing, but since I didn't understand the conversation, I have no idea what that is. So really, I just walk around confused. I waste some time wondering around this
dry city thinking about this and that, trying to buy my time. Did I mention that this place looks dry? Because it looks like someone just plumped a city right in the middle of a desert and it's kind of depressing looking.

I run into Dannon. He tells me how he's accomplishing the goal we all set out to do on the other side of the highway! He shows off his fancy new dream car. Other cars have to drive on the highway, but his super fancy car seems to just fly over them! His car is super fast and in the blink of an eye he's already past the horizon. I become lucid!!

I decide to fly the old fashioned way and grow some gargoyle wings. I start flying over this desert highway, but it's a long flight and it's boring. Luckily, I finally remembered what 'our' goal was - to create a world that we of DreamViews could all dream in
together! And we chose this ugly desert city because, well, how much worse could we possibly do? This boring place was a blank slate to practice our dream magic on.

And I need a lot of practice. How about crossing this highway effortlessly for one? Why not get a nice dream ride? I run into Aquanina, she wants a nice dream ride too, but for different reasons I think. I remember seeing a car place just down the street so I suggest that maybe we should see what this dream has to offer. We just need some money. Money isn't a problem, we both laugh because for us dreamers,
money is easy. I just imagine lots and lots of money pouring into my pockets. Suddenly my pockets become heavy, too heavy. I look and my pockets are filled with solid gold coins!

"That's a bit dramatic don't you think?" That's me complaining to my subconscious "How about converting those coins into dollar bills instead? Thanks?"

My pockets become lighter and double check to make sure there's still money in there. All good to go! (my lucidity is slipping) We walk on over to the only place in town selling cars. It's a neat place. Colorful and artsy graffiti, curvy walls. I think this car place used to be a skateboaring hangout. We even had to slide down to the next level.

There was only one car!! That's it ONE car? I guess I should have known, this is a craptactular town. There's nothing special about the car either. I was kind of hoping the perfect dream vehicle would just be right here waiting for me to drive it/fly it/traverse space with it! I guess I was whining out loud, because the car dealer shakes her head (btw, its not often I see a FEMALE car dealer)

"You're going about this the wrong way!" She explains "So the car is simple. So is this bouncy ball." This bouncy ball magically appears is. She bangs it up against the wall and it goes on a bouncing spring all over the place, we had to duck! "It's what you do with it that really matters"

She's right! I'm forgetting my dream magic!
We could use the car as an easy base to mold and redesign to our licking. But I woke up before I got to try.

I'm not sure if I could call this one a shared dream. It didn't really feel like one. But it sure gives me a lot of ideas
Dannon and Aquanina weren't the only people in my dream. I remember running into at least five other people who I just didn't recognize.
    8. A Jewish Rebellion And Monsters

by , 06-19-2010 at 05:08 PM (A World In My Head!!)
      May 6, 2010

Synopsis: First dream. A country is divided by war, and it's my mission to destroy the man made monsters. I join the Underground and find a monster. But this monster makes me abandon my mission

A Jewish Rebellion - And Monsters!
I don't remember the first half of the dream, but I do remember that the first half of my dream explains why I'm in this situation! I'm following an angry Jewish mob protesting in the city's streets at night. This could get violent, for both parties concerned. I belonged to neither group, and found both groups to be largely made up of innocent - if not confused and angry - civilians.

A little boy standing outside his apartment watches the moonlit protest pass by. Oh crap! That boy is from the opposition and I have no idea how irrational this crowd has gone. I quickly hurry the little boy inside before anyone noticed him. I tell him to get his parents and hurry. The boy understood what I meant. I watch over the boy and the family from a birds eye perspective, as they quickly go from one room to another. Locking the door behind him. They continue to go from room to room, deeper and deeper in the apartment building. I could hear noise coming from the other rooms they just left!

I hurry them along and help them by locking the doors for them. Finally they reach the last door, which led to the Underground. The Underground was hot, noisy, and filled with people. Guards directed newcomers to food, shelter, clean water, or signed them up to become soldiers. Though honestly most people here just want shelter, a place to hide from the scary angry mob.

There was a problem! There was a large pool about 30 yards long. This is bad news! The first half of my dream explains why open bodies of water is bad. People started creating monsters for their own selfish reasons. The monsters rebelled against their creators and now hide in water. Finding these monsters and their watery hideouts seemed to be what my real mission was about.

Everyone should know about the monsters by now! I get angry and yell at the leader. "What are you doing with this large body of water?"

"It's good water that the people could use". But that didn't seem right. No one was using the water. No one actually would even stand close to it.

"Have you forgotten about the monsters?"

"No. . . but there's no monsters in the Under-"

Of course like a movie, a grotesque horrific mutated unsightly thing leaps out of the water. He roars and spots his next victim, which was me. I wasn't prepared! I try to think how I can fight this abomination against nature. But then a women behind me with a deep strong voice says
      "Stand aside"

She looked like an African Goddess. Perfectly tall, big wild hair, robust feminine body, and strong muscles. She's a black amazon from greek myth! She lands a single punch on the monsters oozing face. The monster is thrown backwards twice the length of the pool, smashes into the wall, breaks the wall, is crushed by the fallen wall, and he doesn't ever get back up.
      <- That's what I looked like!

I turn around to get a good look at our heroine, but there's TWO of her. Then I realize one is an average perfectly normal, not so super, human. The other, is the monster she created.

      "You created her?"

      "Yes, I did.
      She is a monster."

It was my mission to track down all the monsters so they could be exterminated, but this was an awkward situation. Sensing my mixed emotions, our monster/heroin/black amazon explains. "Don't worry, my creator created me to protect the people. I enjoy protecting them
      and I always will."

      Well, I'm sold!

I help the people clean up this old hallway, to make this Underground more livable. But there was one thing they decided not to remove, it was a clock sometime cemented into the ground. No one knows who put it or why. But it's counting down, and there are only 26 hours left!

I wake up and fall back asleep before I can even jot any of the dream down, which is why I forgot most of it
    9. Jaguar

by , 06-19-2010 at 04:30 PM (A World In My Head!!)
      April 23, 2010

Synopsis: A couple of short dreams about visiting foreign places. Jaguar worship and monstrous bears.

      Jaguar
In the dream a friend of mine was explaining that EVERYONE who lives here has a jaguar statue. I didn't believe her at first because usually when someone says "everyone", it's an exaggeration.

But she was right! We drove around the streets. The houses are on hillsides surrounded by big leafy plants. It reminds me of Puerto Rico, but I know this can't be Puerto Rico because I remember that I was visiting a country foreign to me. But it definitely has that mountainous Central American feel. And sure enough every house we drove by had a statue of a jaguar or a black panther. And each house sported their own style. Some statues looked mayan, some mimicked hello kitty, some look like that good fortune chinese cat. But every house had one!

In the next dream a tourist guide is helping us find our cabins, and again I feel like I'm in a foreign place. We look on our cabin map and it looks like there's a couple of cabins we can choose from. What we didn't know was the cabins are actually caves. We find our first cabin/cave, and the first thing I see is a giant warning sign. The cave next to us has MAN EATING bears and a fast rapid cavernous river inside. Are we really safe in our cabin-cave, so close to the man eating bears?

Theres no door, just a long cave entrance that winds it's way down to our living quarters. The cabin uses all of the natural walls of the cave and has a giant spiraling passageway leading to rooms. It would be beautiful, if it wasn't also extremely dark. We decided this cave-cabin was too big and dark. We look at our map and locate a smaller one to stay in.

We only had to take a few steps inside this cave-cabin to find fresh corpses
. Mangled and ripped apart bodies. The bear was here, actually, the bear is still here.

I wonder what place I'll visit next
    10. penguins

      by , 06-19-2010 at 04:03 PM
I was at the vet because my penguin was sick. They put a chip in it so they would know who it belonged to and which was it's vet. The "zoo", that was his title, was using suspenders, used to hold up pants, to read the chips.

    11. The Sun and Moon

by , 06-19-2010 at 04:00 PM (A World In My Head!!)
      April 15, 2010

Synopsis: Lucid, I still ccan't open a portal! Why? Later I run into a strange DC who knows this is a dream.

      The Sun and Moon
I became lucid! I don't even remember my dream before becoming lucid. I think I was running around in a giant mall playing superheroes with some kids, but I'm not sure. All I really remember is, I walk outside and I start to float by a tree. Wait a minute, I'm floating? I'm dreaming!

It's been a while since I've been lucid. I don't want to rush this, but I think I did anyways. I rub my hands together to stabilize the dream. I've never done this before as a stabilization technique. It feels pretty real! I can feel my fleshy hands and the curvature of my palms. But nothing happens. The dream doesn't change. So I command the dream to stabilize. But nothing happens again.

I'm standing on the tree branch looking at the suburban scene below me. Well it's not unstable looking. But I wasn't satisfied. I wanted my dream to be hyper realistic. It still feels,
dreamy. Maybe I made the wrong verbal commands, maybe I should have said "Increase Clarity" instead.

I want to open a portal! But I want to find the best dream spot to open a portal. So I start to walk around, two kids from the mall follow me. I think they still want to play. They're cute but really annoying. I had to get rid of them some how! So I tell them "Did you know that this is a dream?" "Huuh?" "This is a dream!" "This is a dream?" They look at me shocked, as if I just told them the world was ending. But then they smile and laugh and run away. That was easy!

I find the perfect spot to create a portal. I was underneath the sun and moon. The sun and the moon were next to each other, both shining bright. I don't even think that's possible in waking life, but it was beautiful sight anyways. I stand underneath the sunlight and try to open a portal.

      Nothing happens.

I walk away a little confused. So I start to explore my dream some more while thinking of a better way to create a portal. I was walking along a glass building, reflecting everything behind me. That's when I notice an older blonde woman is following me (late 30s? 40ish? hard to tell, it doesn't look like she's slept in days). How annoying! Dream characters are so persistent sometimes. I know! I walk right through the glass building. I look through the glass smiling thinking "Now she can't see me! She doesn't even know I'm looking right at her." Some other nearby dream characters look confused, as if they just witnessed a person magically disappear.

I waited for her to walk away just as confused, but instead she steps right through the glass. Her gaze was icy steel. How do I explain it? It's a kind of look that only women give to other women. I feel like she's challenging me.

I'm just annoyed that a dream character is mimicking my dream abilities! (how dare she
      )

She is standing very close to me. Invading my space actually, she's practically standing over me. I just want her to go away so I can get on with my dream. So I tell her "This is a dream!" And she responds "I know." I don't like her expression. It's angry and mean. But she doesn't try to hurt me, or touch me, even though she's so close. I felt like. . she was trying to manipulate me to be angry at her, to try to hurt her, start the cat-fight!

But then I remind myself that this is a dream, I need to watch my thoughts and emotions carefully. I try to envision her as lovelier, friendlier, nicer. She eases up and smiles. But I can't say for certain it's the nicest smile in the world! I woke up after that. How short and sweet lucidity is.

I VILD and attempt to re-enter the same dream. I'm lucid, but the dream is really unstable. I think I try to open the portal again. But I don't remember, everything just went to fuzz.

(and why is there a fly literally flying around my head? Am I the sun?
      )

My sister was at a bowling alley. She was behind the front desk giving people shoes and a ball and stuff. The manager left, so I was helping her with the food. (She's only ten.) I helped her clean stuff. There were projection screens at the ends of the lanes. I hooked them up. The manager came back. She had to leave because it was 8:30 p.m., and she had school the next day.

First dream entry on this journal. Yay! Is it bad to have a dream about cheating on your girlfriend with your best friend's girlfriend? I don't know. But anyways, here's the dream:

It's only a fragment but I remember the important part. I was at a gathering with some fellow friends when I saw my best friend's girlfriend in an empty room. Being the nice guy that I am (no intentional bragging, just like to make people happy ) I went over to comfort her. I asked,
"What's wrong? Why aren't you enjoying the party?"
She looked up at me with teary eyes and slumped back into her folded arms and continued to weep. So I asked again. But I couldn't hear through her gasps of air. I gently placed my hand on her back and started to draw random shapes on her back. I just did what I could to comfort her. She finally gathered herself together and told me what happened.
      "My boyfriend dumped me..."
"What!? Why!? You're such an amazing girl! Why would he want-..." I asked and she cut me off.
"He wanted a girl with more 'ASSets'. Emphasis on the 'ass' part."
"That doesn't sound like him. I thought I knew him. He always kept bragging to me about how great you are."
"Well, now he's gone. And I got no one!" The crying continued. Her sad voice almost brought me to tears. The way she sounded just tugged at my heart strings. She sounded powerless and scared. I knew that my next choice of words were going to sound way different than I intended them to, but I wanted to calm her down. I said,
"Don't worry. You got plenty of people. Friends and family. You got me." She slowly raised her head and wiped away her tears. Then a small smile grew upon her face.
"There we go. You have a nice smile. Show it off!" she then gave me a hug. But this hug felt nothing like a hug. It was more of an embrace. I felt strange. She then looked up at me and our eyes locked. It's like we were communicating telepathically. We both knew what would happen next. We inched closer to each other until our lips met in a passionate kiss. I didn't know what was happening for the 5 seconds that it lasted. Until I snapped out of the trance and pushed her off.
"What are we doing!?" I asked.
"Let's forget about this world." She whispered to me and we continued to make out until the dream faded.
It was wrong but yet it felt right. Wow, I am messed up haha.

      Dream Fragments:

      *My Green Thumb*
I remember being in MoSh's inner world. There were people working on the construction of a house. In the dream I knew it was MoSh's new house. Somehow being there with MoSh didn't tip it off to me that I was dreaming, though. I was walking around outside the house, stopping in various places and planting flowers and other plants. I would then sing to them. I wasn't thinking it was going to do any magic, I was just thinking I have heard repeatedly that it is a good idea to sing to plants to make them grow faster and better. And it was definitely working. I wondered how anyone could have an excuse for not having a beautiful garden when just a bit of singing would do that well. Trees grew tall, flowers bloomed, grasses grew… I was leaving a trail of green plants and colorful flowers behind me. I was hoping MoSh would be pleased when he saw what I had managed to do with his garden and yard.

      *Homework*
I was sitting on my bed doing homework. I had a piece of paper in front of me instead of a computer. I was writing down a series of complex equations. My assignment was to solve them. I started working on them. I was not having any trouble with the problem. I came up with the answer I was confident in. I moved on to the next series of equations. This one was even longer and more complex. I had no doubt in mind I could solve it. I started solving it and my pencil broke… shit. I would have to sharpen it. I got up and went to the electric pencil sharpener we have in the other room. I sharpened the pencil and took it out. The pointed end was now completely flat. The pencil sharpener had eaten the tip off of my pencil! Wtf?! I tried again and this time the pencil practically disappeared into the pencil sharpener. And it still wasn't sharpened. I wondered if I had enough confidence to do my math in pen…

      *Shrooms*
I was in the DDO village of Korthos. I looked around and thought that was strange. I looked down at myself. I was wearing armor like one of the DDO characters. I was in DDO! Wait a minute… that wasn't right… DDO isn't a virtual reality system… The only way DDO could be this real is if I was dreaming, so I did a RC and found out I was dreaming.

I wanted to go with Tigress on this DDO dream. I wondered where she was. I thought maybe I would have to go get her. But I spotted her almost right away. I wasn't sure what character I had, but she was in the form of Envee… one of her characters that is a rogue. We left the town. Tigress said she had a quest. So I followed her for a while and we reached a cave. We went inside and wandered around for a bit, killing some kobolds as we came across them. The kobolds seemed pathetically weak. We came into a large chamber that was filled with large mushrooms. They were huge. We wandered into the mushroom patch, which was more like a forest. We wandered around for a while, seeing no sign of another way out or of any enemies. The forest of mushrooms was more like a maze. And we were completely lost in it. I thought climbing up one of the mushrooms might give one of us a view of where the exits were… but how does one climb a giant mushroom?! We were still wandering through the mushrooms when I woke.

      *Congratulations!*
I was in a bed, and I knew right away something was not right. I didn't recognize the bed. I rolled over and there was a man there I didn't know. He was smiling at me. I saw nothing in his eyes but love. Nothing about him looked hostile or creepy except the fact he was a stranger and in my bed. We got up, and it was clear he thought he was my husband. Husband?! I wanted to figure this out. It never occurred to me that I might be dreaming. The man and I went to the car and he drove us for a ways. Apparently we had an appointment. We went into a building. This was a child welfare agency… I wondered why we were there. A woman led us back to her office. She looked over a paper for a while before she spoke. My 'husband' looked very anxious. She finally spoke. She said she had reviewed our application. She said from what she could see we would make great parents for some children in need. Children?! My 'husband' said that he still wanted a set of twins if there were any needing parents. He said he really liked the idea of twins, and that would also ensure the twins weren't separated. The woman said she had found just the kids. She went out of the office for a short time and then returned with two girls. The girls were perfect twins of each other, even dressed identically. They had dark hair pulled back into pony tails and blue dresses and blank looks on their faces. They looked to be about five years old. My 'husband' went over and hugged them both, saying they looked perfect, we'd take them. I was annoyed that he had never asked what I thought…
    15. The Dream Pipes

Have you seen, the Dream Pipes?

Synopsis: I dream of a massive pipe-like construction connecting all of the dream worlds.

      The Dream Pipes

      I
don't remember the beginning of the dream. Only that eventually I walked into a room that looked like a forest. But after looking at this room some more, I realize it's fake and the walls are just painted to look like a sky. One of the walls was like a garage door. It opens up revealing this huge factory complex on the other side. A black man in a bright blue jumper was busy tinkering away with machinery on the other side. The door was closing, but I could see beyond the factory was a rich green forest! With REAL sunlight.

"Wait! I just want to cross through!"

He has a real happy voice and says "Okay! You can go through. Watch your step"

The place was cluttered with, I dunno, things, industrial things. If I knew anything about mechanics I could probably tell you what they were. Just imagine a giant airplane threw up all over the place. In fact, this place was more like a hanger. I'm outside! I can see the rich green forest just beyond this vast courtyard. . but then. . .the scene quickly morphs as I take a step closer. The forest was just an illusion to allure me to what this place really was, the Dream Pipes!

The Dream Pipes is this huge steel construction floating in space. Giant massive pipes, interconnected, and then funneling out in all directions towards the infinite horizon. I was facing the entrance way, gaping holes sitting along each other in a neat row on the courtyard. It was as busy as an airport. And like an airport a bus load of people would walk in and off the dream pipes. They all seemed to know where and what they were doing. I was the only tard who looked lost. Honestly, I was just taken back by the scene and the scale and scope of these Dream Pipes!

I was still several yards away from entering any of these steel tunnels leading off into space. Above each one was a digital sign signifying its destination. I tried to carefully read them, to make sure I would go to the right place. But reading was hard in the dream. That or the symbols were just alien to me.

I get a flashback of the last time I tried to ride the Dream Pipes. It didn't go well! First, you have to select your pipe wisely. There was no turning back, and if you choose the wrong destination, well its the same as getting on the wrong airplane, you're in it for the long ride. But after you choose a pipe, I just remember you are taken to a long glass corridor floating up in the sky. This was like a security check point where they examined you. I just remember I didn't like it, and found the whole process annoying, time consuming and confusing. I remember last time the employees were so useless they didn't even set me up with the right Dream Pipe and I was stuck in limbo.

And then, there is one Dream Pipe I am terrified of the most. You can think of this Dream Pipe as taking you into the astral. But you've got to fly on your own wings. What the pipe does is shoot you out into empty space towards your destination. There is no actual pipe to guide you. If you don't start flying on the path it sets you on, you can just fall into the dark abyss these Dream Pipes seemed to emerge from. Not to mention you have to fly at the same speed it spits you out in because that destination door isn't staying open forever! So if you can't fly as a speeding bullet, you aren't ready, turn back.

There was just something indescribable about these Dream Pipes, I felt like, they really do connect all dream worlds. At the time that frightened me!

When I woke up I didn't remember these Dream Pipes at all!! As far a I am concerned, this is the first time I've ever seen them! But in the dream I 'remembered' them. Oh and, riding the Dream Pipes is a total psychedelic vortex trip!................ZOOOOOOM!!

There is a Dream Pipe connecting our heads, did you know?
