Dream Fragment - I remember swimming in my pool at night with the pool light on, and having to fight off some bugs that were floating around in the water. Then in my notes I wrote something about "locks" and "problems"... not exactly sure what that means. ._.

Pool Casino Resort [Non-Lucid]

I was at some kind of casino resort in Las Vegas that was made up almost entirely of pools. It was pretty cool! I only remember vague details about the beginning, there were balloons that you could grab on to and float away and the food was amazing. My old friend D, my old friend S, my friend J, and this girl C (for self-reference: Euler's number) were all there eating with me, and I was talking to C since I hadn't seen her since 11th grade (not that I even really talked to her then). I remember hearing and sort of seeing a commercial playing on a big TV screen there too, hanging above one of the pools that led outside through these huge golden pillars. >w< It was for a special episode of That '70s Show where the Formans got invited to stay at a casino on vacation and they got to meet its owner, Jabba the Hutt.

Me, a friend and his drug dealer are in a small, Las Vegas type town. We head to the dealer's place, which is a one floor building with a tower with neon signs on it. As we head up the tower, it feels a bit creepy and it has a green hue from the neon lights outside. We use a ladder to go up, passing by a bunch of circular rooms. I see smoke swirls and get worried that I will get high if I breathe them in, only because it is late.
We are then at a movie theatre in a white room that looks sort of like a small unviversity classroom. There is a door beside the screen that leads to the small office that controls the movies. We pick up the person who is running the movies and leave. On our way out I think about how the people will be pissed when the movie ends and no more are playing because the operator is with us.

I had a few dream fragments I remembered that were vivid, but I could remember hardly anything from them.
One takes place in a Galaxy movie theatre that seems more like a huge indoor amusement park. The other is a birds eye view off my old elementary school, where the portable classrooms used to be.

All in all not a very good night for dream recall, wish I could have remembered a lot more, but I will make up for it when I post the ones I had the past two nights. They were pretty damn epic.

1. I've taken the day off to go shopping with the parents. We go to a Wal-Mart, and as usual I start goofing off. However, I soon find myself in a section of the store I've never visited before. It's a "premium" section, one for the extremely rich, even though the prices are still advertised as rollback (Fuck me, another failed text RC). They're selling things like ultralight airplanes and antique cars, but in the back I find a couple of Tour de France level bicycles. The first one I try has the wheels attached backwards, making it impossible to use, but the second is allright. I take it and start riding around the store with the wind in my hair, and feel silly but happy.
As I ride back to return the bike, my cell phone goes off (with the RL ringtone). I pull it out of my shorts, but with only one hand on the wheel I have no way to control what happens next. I crash through two panes of heavy glass in the back of the store, and stumbling from the wreckage fall over a plane! The manager comes up, angrily demanding that we pay, but my Dad only has $400 on him. I start to freak out.

2. I'm answering questions on Twocansandstring.com (an awesome website), when someone asks about spinach and Popeye. I start to answer, but wander outside to underneath a tree at my research station. V and one of the grad students wander over to me. V makes awkward small talk as the grad student strokes her, and I feel extreme jealousy.

3. Las Vegas has become a post-apocalyptic wasteland ruled by pop-punk style overlords. The streets, however, are filled with legions of metalhead zombies. Something happens to one of the rulers, and I see the teeming throngs rise up to take back control of the city.
