I am walking towards home, coming from nowhere. I realize I am walking across the wrong street, so I undo my steps and choose the right one, after waiting for a car to get out of my way. I am in front of my house and I hear my mom's voice calling me. I look for her with no result, thinking how weird it is to hear her voice being that far from her. I realize I am probably dreaming, so I do a reality check and confirm it before entering into the house. What should I do? I think and find myself in front of a big mirror which ends up turning into a computer screen. I push my right hand on the mirror's surface, trying to break through it. My hand starts to appear in the other side and I do the same with my other hand. Then I push my whole body to the other side, feeling some weird sensations while crossing the glass. I am in the other side and everything is the same. I feel disappointed but then I realize that if I look in detail everything if formed with tiny fractal patters which seem to move. I wake up.
Morning of April 2, 2014. Wednesday. I approach the bed to appreciate the beauty of my sleeping wife and am near the foot of the mattress. Instead of my thoughts continuing logically, I find myself trying to install new faucet handles in the mattress, on the top, near one corner. I am doing this for several minutes before I mentally ask myself what I think I am doing as it makes no sense, and I already had enough of this work just previously. (This was based on something I had spent some time doing prior to sleep.) This, of course, is a good example of the so-called Tetris effect affecting a dream state, often in a distracting way. Later on, in a different state of vividness, I am back in Cubitis. The living room is mostly empty. However, over time, I am aware of invisible animals. I do see where they are, as they leave a brief cloud of vapor whenever they move and they move quickly. This bothers me a bit, so I try to get someone’s attention (even though there is no one around in my dream’s setting). I go into my bedroom and experience the Blue Pearl event; it is floating to the west seemingly about three feet from the floor and not as bright or “close” as usual in real life and perhaps somehow external rather than internal. This is actually the first time I have experienced it in this particular way while in a dream state, so it probably is not the same thing as my conscious experience, though there is a similar mood (but much more vague). I see the Blue Pearl as a “portal” of some sort, possibly a “band” or liminal barrier of some sort that serves as a portal or transition; a particular wavelength of consciousness that is akin to a wormhole. Looking back into the living room, there are more “invisible animals”. They seem to be able to shoot their “hair” out like water droplets (poisonous perhaps?). This is the only thing that is seen for the most part - brief clouds of vapor. From there, I start to yell louder and louder to get someone’s attention. It is not nightmarish regarding the “animals” as this is one of my typical “I will just keep screaming and see what happens” routines. I am at a state that is halfway between knowing I am dreaming and not quite knowing what is going on or going to happen. Finally, I am awake and my wife says that I had been making strange murmuring noises of which I already knew with this type of dream. I often only get these from a lot of extra walking and other exercise and doing one maintenance task for “too long” on the same day.
This is my first DJ, so i'll start with my most recent LD. It was two days ago. I fell asleep into a dream that was of a cavern.. or rather a cave turning into a long stoned pathway. It was illuminated by bluish fiery light from both sides, leading down the path as well. While walking down this path, i noticed the walls had crystallized mirrors. Looking into them,, it seemed foggy at first, but then when it started to clear up. I noticed my younger self.. my childhood self. Having fun. Each mirror i looked into was a sequence of a childhood memories i enjoyed. Witnessing this made me realize i was in a dream and yet, i hand no control of the memories that came or the area that i dreamed of. However i was able to control myself. A Dream induced Lucid Dream (DILD) with some Dream control is what it was looking back on it. With the Control i had, i was able to jump into these crystal mirrors that took me to the areas of my memories. Seeing my younger friends & parents, but unable to communicate with them. Although my younger self seemed to smile in my direction from time to time, then resumed playing. It was heartwarming if not odd. With my control, i continued to jump into mirrors and various memories of my younger self, almost like teleporting. Until i ran into a different dream area, not of my memories but of some starry night city that looked like a mix of Las Vegas, and New Orleans at mardi gras. And as i look around at the shining lights & stars, the various people laughing and dancing and yet can't see me. I finally noticed my younger self again. Looking back at me with a smile and then says. " The fun doesn't end yet." and with a chorus of music, i wake up, listening to nothing but the whirring of my fan and the cold breeze in my room. I honestly felt great that morning, kind of a warm pleasant feeling. I'm curious to what the dream meant. Maybe it means that if i keep positive and enjoy my life, better things will come? Maybe better things that i never thought would happen? I can only hope. Well this is my First Dream Journal. I hope it wasn't too odd for folks. XD If my dreams are always this interesting, i'm certainly going to write more.
Hello I had some dreams today again. It's the second day i use B6, and i also got a Lucid this night! First normal dream: It was somewhere near a river. It looked like a desert but people lived here. There were 2 mans that was the headcharacter in this dream. They didn't believe in God. ( I do) And i did miracles in the dream to show that God exist or whatever, and the first man believed. But the other saw what i did and was sad O.o Second dream: There were 2 girls. They searched for another missing girl in some kind of sewer. I did a miracle there aswell and the missing girl appeared. One of the girls got superpowers for some reason.. Third dream: Was somewhere above the sewer that the girl was in. This was a lab or something similar, and there were people inside that was blocking the main doors from people trying to get in. They tried to hide something and i was there aswell, when the "bad guys" successfully entered it got a nightmare, and i ran. At this moment i got lucid! And the guys disappeared. I was lucid for some seconds, i tried to find the guys lol.
4/1/14 Last night, bed at 10 - 4:50am Remembered at 4:50am 1. I'm in a house on the slope of a green hill. Suburban environment. 2 story house, old wood, big windows. I'm calling someone on the phone. Talking about the storm thats coming from czech republic. I walk out on the patio and see very dark storm clouds from 2 directions. People on the phone are saying they are gonna be delayed because of that. 2. I'm at some gathering with hundreds of people. Many are standing outside in small groups, eating, drinking and talking. I look up at the sky and I see hundreds of airplanes. All leaving a trail. They fly in formations. I can clearly see different types of planes. All military, flying very high. I tell the others to look. It's russian military excercise. I walk inside and look for some familiar people. I want to tell them too. It's quite a spectacle. But they are preocupied. And, they are crappy people from my past. I love seeing those airplane formations. This is not the first time I dreamt about it. I also think, that I have seen it on TV yesterday and I was thinking if I'm gonna dream about that. But now I'm not sure if I seen it IWL, or just dreamt about seeing it on TV.
3/31/14 Last night bed around 11 - 8am Remembered at 6:22 am 1. I'm flying outside with another girl. I have a feeling she is a former classmate. We fly into a department store. Walking down the isles, looking at hanging clothes. I think I could use some new sketchers, so I walk to the shoes. I know it's not right to take stuff, but I feel like there is something going on, that's allowing us to do so. No idea what it is though. My friend changes her mind at the last moment. Cops are there and she is talking to them. 2. My aunt comes to my moms place with my uncle. I'm quickly putting some dishes away to clean up. Mom is upset, that they didn't give her heads up. 3. I'm at work. Stacking produce from a u-boat.
