      I am now reading something,probably on a computer screen.It starts getting blurry so I rub my hands to keep it stable.I find a friend of mine and treat decide to show off.I go through my house's wall and into the garage then come back.He is not as surprised as you would expect.I tell him I am now going to go to the 2nd dimension or something similar.I go through the wall and on the other side there is only and infinite void of blackness.I do not fully enter the void with my body,I come back.I now tell my friend i'm going to another dimension,so I try to get through the wall,but this time it was hard to do it.I could not go through the wall,it was very hard.I was expecting to see a void of yellow light on the other side(or did I see it?).My friend comments that I need more training to be able to go there.

      Another friend appears and I decide to show him I can fly.I get out of my house and jump into the air,going about 4 or 5 metres in the air,but falling.I hold on my house.I try again and again but it feels like forced control and I always gravitate towards the floor.I enter my house and my friend is not there anymore.I'm constantly rubbing my hands,wondering how long could this dream last.I remember I wanted to go to the lucid crossroads,but I am getting distracted by a karate class going on in my garage.I feel like i've messed around enough,and as if the class was real.
      I get too involved and end up losing my lucidity,the dream fades.

      Comment: Bahahaha 3rd lucid dream this month,that is almost one lucid dream a week.I foresee a breakthrough.

      This dream was pretty realistic for the most part. I was in a classroom with a few of my friends, and we were all working on homework. I knew that it was after school hours, and we were hanging out because we didn't have a ride home yet. I was sitting at a larger rectangular desk (which was made of dark brown wood, slightly polished), and was working on a computer. A phone rang next to the computer as I worked, and I picked it up after letting it ring for a few seconds. I heard an indiscernible voice say that my friends and I would have to stay in the classroom for the night. I said "okay" and hung up.

      After I worked on my project for a little while, one of my friends casually walked up to me and asked, "hey, do you have any movies here that we can watch?"

      I answered "yeah, but you might not like any of them". The films I like, both in the dream and in real life are very good, but aren't exactly what everyone else likes; no High School Musical, Demi Lovato, or Justin Bieber-like stuff, please. I pulled out a shoebox filled with movies from underneath my desk, and gave it to her. She flipped through the movies and halfway through, she gave them back. "You're right, there isn't anything there," she told me. I took the box of movies back and glanced at them before putting them back under my desk. I caught a glimpse of American History X, Marley and Me, and Avatar; the cases looked the same as they did in real life.

      I put my hand on the computer mouse and as I did, my friend peered under my desk. I did the same and saw three art books. One was evergreen with black coils, and two were yellow with slightly grainier pages. I have all three of these books in real life. She pulled the green one out and began to open it. I put my hand on it, closing it shut, and she laughed a bit, trying to pry it open. By then, I had both hands around it, keeping it shut, and told her, "you can't see that, so please don't look inside. There's artwork, but I also have private journal entries and stuff in there."

      She let go of it, and I put it back underneath the desk, sighing in relief to myself.

      In the next part of the dream (regardless of the earlier message that I wasn't able to leave the classroom), I was indeed exiting it. When I went through the door, I didn't emerge into the hallway like I should have, but into the den of my house. A den is like a work area.

      This den had dark cherry hardwood floor, beige walls, and an L-shaped desk, slightly lighter wood than the floor itself. There were cabinets with silver handles along the wall, and a purple chair that had wheels so it could roll along the floor. There was no other rooms to enter once I got into the den; it was a dead end. I became aware that I was dreaming, and could feel most of myself mentally there. I looked around to observe the area a bit, and then pondered how I could get out of the room so I could ride a 2010 Camaro. A flying one, actually; that was one of my current dream goals.


      The lights became unnoticeably became dim in the room, and I only noticed until they were almost completely out. I also noticed, through a window with the blinds pulled all the way up, that it was dark outside. Nighttime. I looked away from the window and back again, and it became lighter outside, but it still looked like nighttime. I verbally said, "increase lighting now" and the outside got lighter, one bit at a time, like upping the brightness of an image on Photoshop. I smashed a hole through the window and emerged into the backyard of the house. The grass was green, and there was a brand new wooden fence surrounding the house. Past the fence, there was a small lake, and that was surrounded by other houses.

      I summoned a Camaro in the backyard; it was yellow like the one in the picture above. It had a more exaggerated style than in the picture, though, but it still looked really cool. I got inside after having to pry the front door open, because it was sticking a bit. Inside the fabric was black (not leather), and the clutch looked twice as small as I'd have liked. Nevertheless, I pulled it back and expected where it was to cause the car to get into drive. It worked, and the car started, but the sound was muffled. I then pushed my foot on the gas without holding onto the wheel, and expected the car to fly up gradually. The car only went forward on the ground though, and smashed into the fence.

    3. Lucid Nightmare!

      This was my first-ever lucid nightmare. Not fun.

      I was in a false awakening from a previous dream, which I became lucid from just as it was ending. The room was dark, nighttime, with just a bit of light blue coming in through the cracks in the blinds. I managed to catch this false awakening and turn it into a DILD by using the nose-plug technique while still lying in bed. But before I could even get up more than a few inches, I suddenly became paralyzed and was thrown back into my bed, onto my back, by an unseen force. I aimed a forceful "stop now" at whatever was rendering me incapable of moving, but it continued. For a few more seconds it did this, and the next thing I know, I felt a presence in the room and could almost "see" dark, fleeting, moving shapes underneath my bed, although I wasn't actually looking there. It's like I had two sets of eyes for a moment.

      Next, I felt myself being pulled up into the air, as if being sucked through a vortex. I saw a huge pair of sharp teeth surround me and engulf me. Everything went black when they closed on me, and then I was floating in darkness. "I told you to stop, now", I tried to say again. But nothing happened except I got the sense of a presence again, floating around in the dark with me. I then felt light touches all over my body, as if something really was there.


      I woke up, making sure of this by performing a reality check.

      I've been having a slew of pokemon dreams recently.

      Dream 1 - Store

      I was in a store, some sort of Claire's or Ardene's. I never shop there, ever, but here I was in the dream, shopping. At the back of the store, there were four long shelves spanning from one wall to the other, one on top of another, filled with Pokemon plushes. Some were smaller and had black keychain things stuck to the top of them, and some were large. Really large. I picked up the biggest one (that didn't resemble any sort of actual pokemon): it was purple and a lighter red, and the price tag read $364.99. Wow, just because it was as large as me, that didn't mean I'd spend that much on a piece of fabric. I chucked it back into the shelves and looked some more. I then picked up a Turtwig plush, which was the same one I had in real life. I got the real thing in Disney World; Epcot's anime store to be exact, but this wasn't an anime store. Because of this, I was like "wow, they have this plush here too?"


      I definitely wasn't lucid at this point; at least not until I picked up a shinx plush. It was about twice the size of an ipod touch and had a black plastic keychain at the top. I looked at it for a little while and then put it back, as I had now become lucid and didn't want to waste my time looking at these plushes anymore. "Sweet," I said out loud and exited the store, emerging into a rural area with homes and sidewalks. Immediately I decided, since somehow I forgot about my current dream goals, to ride a pokemon. Fly it, to be exact. I summoned a Charizard using my turn-around method, which looked the way I wanted it to, with the exception of its size; it was slightly smaller than it should have been. After all, how was I supposed to fly on its back if it couldn't even support my weight? I let it go and it bent over, allowing me to get onto it. It then began to fly, but as it got to a certain point in the sky, maybe a few feet above the houses' roofs, it began to sink back down. I imagined it flapping its wings even more in an attempt to get it to go higher, and it did for a moment, but it sank back down again.

      I was sick of trying to mess with this, so I jumped off while it was still in midair and belly-flopped right on the ground. That was clumsy. I looked up (I didn't move my head, but instead just moved my eyes) to see it flying away, higher and higher. As soon as I did this, however, the dream went darker. I stopped looking up and got to my feet, feeling that looking up was a stupid thing to do. Had I just destabilized my dream?

      I suppose I did, because the dream continued to turn darker and darker.
      Then, it ended.



      Dream 2 - False Awakening

      The next thing I knew, I was in my bed. Crap, I thought, it was so stupid to look up because it destabilized the dream. I was about to get up for a glass of water, but I suddenly realized something. I wasn't in the right bed, and so I realized that I was still dreaming, it was just a false awakening. "Wow, my lucidity carried over from my other dream," I said to myself as I got up. But the dream ended rather quickly.

      I was in a large house, my house. But it wasn't really my house; this place was big and looked like a lodge. The walls were smoothed logs and the floors were hardwood, yet it didn't look like one of those old-fashioned cabins. It was almost modern, even though it was made of "traditional" materials. And I lived here.

      I was at the table with my sister and father, eating some sort of chicken and tomato dish off clean white plates. I realized that this was a dream and decided to not even consider the fact that I might not have any control. After all, I was going through a bad dryspell control-wise, and I didn't want to have a crappy dream control experience again. I decided to test my control by asking my father, "hey, is this a dream?" even though I knew very well that it was. I expected him to say no, and that's what he told me. "Well, I'd be able to stick my finger through my palm if this was a dream," I replied. I pushed my finger through my palm and it came through the other side, after a bit of effort. My dad chuckled and leaned back in his chair, but my sister didn't say anything the whole time.

      I got up and walked away from the table, hoping to summon someone and practice a bit of dream combat. I was prepared if my dream control were still to be in the process of coming back from the dryspell. I was now in the middle of a new room in the lodge; it had high ceilings and a set of stairs along the right wall that led up to the second floor. I didn't go up the stairs and just decided to summon Jesse Pinkman, a second main character from the television series Breaking Bad. I used my sneaky tactic of turning around and expecting the person to be behind me, eliminating the need to search all over for him; this is what I do whenever I summon DCs now. I did this, and wow, I was in for a surprise. He was behind me, looked normal...


      But his clothing choices were a bit bizarre.

      He was wearing a white t-shirt, baggy pants, and a sweater. This was all right, but underneath the slightly transparent shirt was the top piece of a yellow woman's swimsuit. I turned around immediately and tried to forget about that sight. It scorched my eyes, and it made me laugh pretty loudly. I turned around and tried the technique again, and he was still the same but with slightly longer hair. I had to do this once more and then he was wearing what I wanted him to: a yellow hoodie, slightly too large, and baggy blue jeans.

      We basically practiced some karate-like moves the rest of the dream. I'm not going to attempt to explain them, because it's pretty hard to, but they were pretty hardcore! At the end of the dream, a few seconds before I felt it starting to fade, I managed to blow Jesse away with invisible energy emanating from my hands.

    6. Lugia vs. Ho-Oh

      I hadn't had a pokemon-related dream in months.

      This dream began in the rectangular athletic centre of my school. The flooring was polished oak, strewn with the types of colored lines you see in any gym. The room was massive; you could easily hold two different games in there at one time. There were two changerooms with pale turquoise doors, the push-in-to-open style, located in the centre of the gym's east wall.

      I was in a pokemon battle from the beginning. I was on one side of the athletic centre, while my opponent was on the other. In the center of the area was a large black circle with a line drawn through it, dividing the place in half. I recall grasping an imaginary pokeball and chucking it into the air, still with nothing really there, but I wasn't lucid. Then, an Arcanine appeared with a quick flash of white light. It was a bit larger than it normally should have been, standing at around five feet, as tall as I was.

      My opponent (whom I can't remember much about) sent out a Chikorita. Okay, maybe that wasn't such a good idea on their behalf. I shouted to the Arcanine to use fire spin and it ran at the Chikorita, walking around it in a circle while blowing out a line of fire. It looked as if it were tracing a circle along the ground. That wasn't a fire spin, it was a fire trace or something. But who am I kidding? Anything can happen in a dream. The Chikorita, even though the fire never actually touched it, falls over and "faints".

      The next moment, the Chikorita was gone with no discernible transition, and so was my opponent.

      Then, there was an explosion above me, and a massive hole was blasted into the roof of the athletic centre. You could see the layers of construction in the roof that the blast caused, but no debris were falling from the area of impact. A Lugia swooped down, roaring like a dragon or other creature, and landed on the floor. It was small, around my height again, although it should have been at least twice that size. I ran like crazy, bolting for the second changeroom, and got inside, slamming the door shut, which was pretty heavy. A few unrecognizable people were sitting on the floor inside the changeroom, talking and panicking and wondering what to do. I suppose we didn't get Lugia attacks that often.

      I decided to try and fight it, using my own pokemon. Through sheer coincidence, I sent out another imaginary pokeball inside the changeroom, quieter than last time, and a Ho-Oh appeared! These two pokemon were practically partners in the pokemon video games, but in the dream I didn't know this. The Ho-Oh was the same size as the Lugia, and squawked a few times before settling down. It folded up its wings and tucked its legs underneath itself. "Come on," I told it, "let's go".

      The next thing I know, I was getting up onto the bird pokemon and zooming out of the changeroom, the turquoise door now gone. The Lugia was flying slowly around the athletic centre, which looked even more massive than before. It spotted us and charged straight towards us. I commanded my pokemon to use fire blast, and it produced the move that looked very similar to the actual thing. Instead of consuming the Lugia, however, it kind of stopped as soon as it touched it, and stayed there for a few seconds while the pokemon flew around, unaffected. I then told the Ho-Oh to use fire spin, and it had the same affect as it did with the Arcanine. However, the Lugia flew away with brand new burn patches on its feathers.

    7. Iron Man Armor

      I started this dream in the front yard of my school, which consisted of a big parking lot and an even bigger field, and immediately became lucid because of this. I decided to try flying, as I hadn't done that in a very long time. I attempted to will myself off the ground through mere expectations, and nothing happened, only a slight up and down motion. This upset me quite a bit, so I decided to go inside and summon a jetpack. I walked for a few minutes and finally got into the school's front doors. I saw many DCs wandering around, some holding books. When I turned around, I saw my sister standing beside me. She said, "you're trying to fly?" and I replied yes, but she walked away after I answered. I suddenly had the idea to try wearing the armor from Iron Man. I knew it would be annoying at first, because of the way you had to put it on, but it would definitely allow me to fly; it did once in a regular non-lucid dream.

      I summoned a door in the inside of the school, and walked through it. There was a large garage-like room with a metal pad in the center; this pad consisted of nine flat square sheets of metal. I had attempted to summon desks and computers like Tony Stark's workplace in the film, but this didn't happen. Nevertheless, I stepped onto the center square of the metal pad and... I can't remember!


      The next thing I remember was being on top of a building, the armor gone, but I wasn't upset. By this time, I probably lost most of my lucidity. The dream ended soon afterwards with me doing practically nothing, but I became lucid at the last minute and resolved to DEILD my way back into the dream.

      I was completely still as I waited for the dream to pull me back in.
      I heard my dad say, "Hey, it's time to get up."
      I wasn't thinking about it, even though it should have been my mother.
      I opened my eyes after a few moments since nothing happened.

      My alarm clock said 9:85. This was a false awakening, but I didn't become lucid.
      Moments later, before I even got up in the dream, my real alarm clock rang and I woke up.

    8. Edward Norton's Signature and a Levitating Grocery Bag

      The first thing I can remember about this dream was that I was in my Grade 10 ELA class, the desks set up in groups of four. I was sitting at one of the desks, with two of my friends at the others, and we were talking about... I can't remember what. There were other students in other desks (there were three clusters of four besides the one I was sitting in). Suddenly, Edward Norton, the celebrity, walked in. I was completely thrilled that he'd suddenly appear in our classroom. The teacher didn't say anything, and he just sat down at our group of tables. "Oh my god, are you Edward Norton?" I asked him, excited, but also a little embarrassed. "Yeah," he told me, a little uninterested as he looked around the classroom. I pulled out a blue binder and ripped off a triangular piece of lined paper, asking him, "if it's not too much, could I maybe have you sign this?" He took it and signed it, writing a message I cannot recall. I do remember that he messed it up, though, and had to rewrite over top of it, so the final signature and message looked scribbled and gross. He handed it back and I was just like, "wow, thank you very much."

      No one else knew who Edward Norton was, and I had to tell them that he was an actor. That'd probably be the case in real life, too.

      The teacher suddenly told everyone to stand up, and that "our class's main ship has been compromised, and we must evacuate." This didn't cause me to become lucid either, even though I should have known that there couldn't have been a spaceship at our school. Anyways, we walked out into the hallway, but first we opened the door to our classroom. As we opened it, the setting dramatically changed. The other room was made of metal, and looked like a space port like you see in movies. There was a large, dark gray rocket-ship-shaped shuttle poised in the far left corner of the large room. We all walked over to it and got inside. Although I don't recall bringing my backpack with me, I did have it when we got in the ship. The dream skipped a bit, and we're now all having to evacuate this ship. While everyone began to run out of it, I was scrabbling about, looking for my backpack. After all, it had my signature from Edward Norton in it. One of my friends backtracked a bit and pulled on my shoulder. "Dude, come on!" she said, and continued to yank me out of the ship. I managed to find and grab my backpack before I was out.

      The dream skipped once again, and I was now on a hill directly beside a bridge. It looked like this, except with more concrete, a paved road instead of train tracks, and basically less nature.


      I looked up towards the bridge, and I saw a small dark gray UFO. Who knows what happened between the ship evacuation and now, and where did that UFO come from? I didn't think much about it. But I did see a white plastic grocery bag, and this interested me.

      I picked it up and tossed it into the air, placing my hands around both sides of the bag, not touching it. It held in the air, and I rotated my hands around, causing the bag to turn and move in midair. I attracted a few peoples' attention and they clapped a bit, telling me to do more, and one even asked "how do you do that?"

      I got a phone call from Kirby (one of the office-bosses… there’s a lot of tiers of management in this company) asking me to do a project. He gave me a list of Scottish family names, and I had to do some research on their origins (I would SO enjoy this, if I really got assigned to do this at work. It’s not a security company kinda thing, though).

      I was supposed to accompany Mum on some shopping down the hill, but I also had to start work at 5pm. I took a long time getting ready to leave the house (it was already 2pm, and usually I start getting ready for work by 3pm), and I was feeling a bit panicked over making mum wait, shopping, and getting ready for work. I was afraid that if I went out, I would forget to get myself to work. And I have terrible amnesia in dreams.

    10. Stitch Roller Coaster

      Notes:
      I took NyQuil to help me sleep, as I had a sore throat. The beginning of this dream was a blur but I do remember the rest.

      I was with my sister and my father, and we were at an amusement park; an indoor one to be precise. The first part of this dream, I was on a ride that was themed around Stitch from Disney's Lilo and Stitch. However, this ride was whacked. First of all, the location was a bit strange. The room was large and spacious, around the size of a football field. The coaster took up almost the whole height and width of the room, and it had two inversions (loops) and disappeared through a door leading to another room. At the bottom of both inversions, it would dive a few feet under the water.

      The mechanism that held the rider in place was even wierder: there was only one rider at a time. There was a cube that was fastened along the track, and hanging from it was two handles which the rider had to hold on to. The dream didn't really want to take into account real-life physics for this. What would happen during the inversions? Well, I found out.

      I took a ride on the coaster. I held onto the handles, which wasn't too difficult, but when the first inversion began to come into site, a sort of black scuba apparatus lowered itself onto my face.

      It was a round oval shape that had no goggles, just a piece that went over your mouth.

      I don't recall seeing it when I got onto the ride, but it was there now. I breathed in as I went under the water, and the scuba device worked (thank goodness). Although it didn't have a mask to shield my eyes from the water, I didn't feel anything different. The ride continued and I continued to breathe through the mask as it didn't lift itself up until the ride finished. At the end, the track leveled out and went on straight for a few minutes. The handles changed, through a skip in the dream, from handles to a seat. The seat was a dark red, rounded square, and there was still only one. As the ride slowed down, there were three larger-than-life Stitches on illuminated circles along the right-hand side of the track. One had the red alien suit on, one had the Elvis costume on (although the clothing was black and not white), and the other was just a plain Stitch.

      CAUTION: Contains spoilers from the 1996 film Primal Fear.

      I was walking towards the changeroom of my school's gymnasium. Everything looked fairly normal so far; I walked through the door to the changeroom and there was a 2-meter long hallway, which opened up into a square locker room with wooden benches on the walls. There were large borderless mirrors on the walls, above the benches, which wouldn't have been there in real life. Although I remember looking straight into them, I cannot remember seeing my reflection. Nevertheless, this caused me to become lucid; I then looked around for a few moments and observed the dream. It took a little while for me to remember my dream goals, but I remembered that one of them was to summon and talk to Roy Stampler, the sociopathic defendant from the film Primal Fear. I turn around and exit the changeroom, emerging into the gymnasium and then hanging a left, leaving that room as well. I am now in the hallway of my school, on the second floor. I go to the left again and then straighten out, heading down the hallway.

      Although the atmosphere of the changeroom and gymnasium was lighter, the atmosphere in the hallway was slightly dark, as if the school was about to close down for the day. But although the school was still 'open', at first glance there was no one there; this made the situation even more bizarre, but as I looked closer there were a few people walking along the floor below me. I looked over the balcony and wondered how I could summon Roy.

      I decided to try a somewhat new technique; instead of calling out for him or going through another door, I expected him to be behind me, lessening the time spent looking around for him. It worked. Soon I could feel someone tapping me on my shoulder, and I turned around, fully believing he would be behind me. The summoning was successful; I looked at him and he was all there, looking almost exactly like he should have. "There you are, Aaron. I've been looking all over for you." He shrugged and replied, "it's Roy, stop with the Aaron thing already."

      "Okay" I told him, throwing my hands up. "Let's get out of here so we don't attract any attention."

      After all, in this situation I was imagining that he was released from the mental institution early and that we were supposed to meet to speak together. Who knows why, and who knows why I decided to stay at the school to talk to him. At this point, I still didn't know what I was going to ask him, but I forgot about it for now and we walked until we got to a classroom. The classroom had a blue and green berber carpet, which felt softer than normal underneath my feet. I didn't look down to see whether I was wearing shoes or not, though. The desks were arranged as if an exam had just taken place; they were spaced evenly apart in rows facing the door we came in from. There must have been around thirty desks in the room, but some of them were missing chairs. The room had white walls but they were covered with white bulletin boards, which in turn were plastered with neat geography maps and a large calendar made from rainbow-colored paper. The wall that the desks were facing had a large smartboard on it, complete with markers and a digital eraser.


      We sat down in two desks near the only window, around six feet by six feet in area. This window was on the opposite side of the room as the smartboard. "So how did you manage to get out so early?" I asked him, and he replied, "it's all a matter of keeping the treatment visible." Whatever that meant.



      I'll be revisiting this dream goal in the future, as I'm not satisfied with the results.

    12. Ninja School... Gear... Solid.

      I'm attending some kind of school for ninja. Dinnertime involves putting all the food on a merry-go-round and spinning it so that the faster and more clever students are able to grab more to eat, and the less adept tend not to get as much. I fall into the second category, of course, but I do manage to snag at least a couple handfuls of blueberries.

      For some reason, a lot of the other students are moving out, including one who oddly resembles Sasuke from Naruto. I beg him not to leave, since he's one of the few friends I've got. Though I couldn't persuade him to stay, he gave me a big stuffed animal, and then asked if he could keep a box of crayons I'd just had lying around the room.

      Some time later, I'm outside an enormous school building where some of the other students are standing around, including one of my IRL friends with whom I've fallen out of touch. I say hello to him, but he doesn't respond, and turns around and walks inside.

      Inside, the building is fraught with tunnels and booby-traps, and to get anywhere is a challenge. One such challenge involved getting through a series of rooms, some of which were full of lava, in order to find cat toys to appease an evil kitty in control of that section of the building. Getting to the top rooms is even trickier, because there are guards everywhere - especially just hanging around the walls on the outside. I take out some of the guards with an energy whip that I produce from the palm of my hand (somewhat like a cross between a grappling beam and a Spidey-esque webshot, only invisible and not sticky) but I have to be careful which ones, as they start shooting at me if they notice, and I have to duck back inside.

      At some point, I find myself over a football field, where a bunch of guys are kicking balls off the balcony and seeing how far they fly. I use my energy whip to throw balls, hoping to knock off more of the guards. Then just about everybody in the school gets called into the field (including the guards) to practice singing a graduation song, and I duck back outside thinking I'll be in the clear for at least a while. But soon the guards are right back where they were again. The next time I get spotted, the guards call in a helicopter, and I cycle through a Metal Gear Solid-esque weapons menu to find a rocket launcher with which I take down the copter. This causes a little message to pop up saying I've earned an achievement for saving this one girl who may or may not have been one of my ninja classmates.

      Another guy tells me he's taken care of most of the guards, and that I should be able to get to the top of the building now, where there's supposedly some sort of party or dance going on. I'm very nearly there, but there are two more guards on a catwalk a few feet below the spot where I'm hiding, and I cycle through my weapons menu again to find a tranquilizer pistol. I manage to hit the guards, but after that point I wake up.


      This dream contains video game influences (especially MGS), people I haven't seen in forever, anime characters, and being back in high school.

      This was a weird dream, and I wasn't as lucid as I'd have liked.

      It began with me and my parents. We were in some form of mall, similar to the Mall of America, but there was only one floor. The style of the tile, walls, and stores looked the same. I remember distinctly seeing an Avon store with an identical logo to the real thing, as well as an HMV, but the logo was a brighter blue instead of hot pink, and it was big, covering the whole top part of the entrance of the store. Inside it had black walls instead of gray, but that's all I remember, as I didn't go inside.

      The mall was packed; there were hordes of people, but it wasn't so crowded that it was uncomfortable.

      The next thing I knew, we were at a large store that looked almost like a more closed-in "Apple" store, as the interior was white and gray, but dimly lit, the walls covered in merchandise and cherry wooden shelving. There was two doors side-by-side in the center of the entrance, and there were large windows on either side. It was around the size of a Hollister store. On one window, covering nearly the entire panel, was the official Avatar poster, with "Avatar" on the bottom in blue, glowing papyrus typefont. It also said "April 22nd" right below that, in a slightly smaller font, which was the actual release date.

      I decided to go inside, as I wanted to buy the movie (for some reason I knew that it was the grand opening of this "Avatar" store and the release date for the movie, but I didn't see any customers once I entered!) There was a very short hallway, and then it branched off into a few rooms, almost like a spacious maze. On shelves there were snacks and Avatar merchandise, including small professionally packaged bags of chocolate covered cherries, selling for $5.00 each. This, I remember distinctly. I'm not sure why this occurred, but I looked down at the floor and I was wearing no shoes! I then became lucid, but it was a low-level lucidity, and I lost it as soon as I turned the corner and saw James Cameron. He said, "hello" to me, and I replied, "hi". I didn't attack him for an autograph or anything of the sorts, and just continued to browse around the store. I don't believe I ever saw the actual DVD or Blu-Ray of the movie in the store.

      The dream skipped. I ended up in my dad's old apartment, in the hallway right beside two elevators, boasting shiny silver doors, slightly scratched from rubbing against the mechanisms inside the elevator wall. The carpet was slightly lighter than burgundy, and it had a detailed but spaced-out filigree pattern in transparent gold. The lighting, again, was slightly dim but was fine to walk around in. I decided to take the stairs (why, I don't know) and they were way different from what they should have been. It was a stairwell that hugged the four walls of the room, curling around in a square-shaped style, and I looked down the middle; it was around ten or eleven floors tall. I started taking off down the stairs, suddenly aware that someone was behind me, chasing me. Although I wasn't lucid at all, I decided to fly by summoning a pair of feathered wings, and I dove down the center of the stairwell. I could see my wings in the corner of my eyes, and I felt the person trying to grab me the second I went over the edge.

      I landed on the first floor, still in the stairwell, and my wings were gone. I took off and went through the door. I was now in the city.

    14. Douches, Cars, and Back at School.

      My Friends dad owns That car there. I've only been in, and seen it once. Long before this dream

      For some reason it was in a garage parked RIGHT up against another car. Like scraped against it. Thats all.
      Should I had become lucid... I would have gone for a joy ride. maybe drove it off/over a bridge or something.

      Back at School
      I back at my High School looking for a teacher of mine. His class was moved to a different room. As I was walking down the halls, which were screaming "THIS IS A DREAM" not litterally but the walls were all slanted and had a blue tinge to them, I saw a friend who was talking about her clothes and how she made them. (I had seen her earlier at Joanne Fabrics taking a sewing class). I finally walked down a hallway and found the teacher I was looking for. I wanted to talk to him about Dreams.

      There was about 3 other people around him so I decided to just continue on and ended up in the bathroom.
      The bathroom was a blue maze. and every little dead end was a toilet/urinal. the ceiling was also very low and all the spaces were pretty cramped. I found a toilet and used it and heard two people (one guy one girl) talking about how He hadn't hit that yet. He left and didnt wash his hands and two other girls were standing outside the door were all like "eew". SO I washed my hands and a i walked out there was a big pile of blankets and trash in a laundry bin type thing.

    15. The Police

      This dream was pretty epic; in my opinion, it stretched the boundaries of what I can produce of my dreams.

      It began at my school. But before I go any further, I'll describe what it looks like first. The main section of the school, right when you walk in, consists of a large, long atrium with a triangular glass roof, which allows for much light to enter the school, making it fairly airy and bright. Classrooms are on the left and right of this atrium, and near the entrance there's a large set of stairs on the right, just before the classrooms begin. The main tones in the building include light beige, light eggshell blue tiles, and accents of paler turquoise, such as on the window frames and stair handles. Although I cannot recall exactly how similar the school in my dream looked compared to real life, I know it was in fact similar in some ways. It gave off the same vibe as the actual thing.

      I was in the first classroom to the left of the atrium; the room was around twenty two feet wide by twenty seven feet long. There were no desks, but there was a normal, burgundy school chair in the far corner of the room. Two of my friends were there with me; a blonde girl and a brunette, both slightly taller than I. My friends near always appear the same in my dreams, as I've been going to school with them since grade one. The blonde girl even had her glasses on, which made them even more similar. It was almost time to be dismissed, so I suppose it was nearly 3:30. Even though school was in still, we were the only people there. Perhaps the dream didn't want to use up energy, trying to fill up all the space in the school? Anyhow, this caused me to become lucid.

      Ied summon my mother at the front of the school, in her car, to pick the three of us up. Instead of being in a silver minivan like she should have had, she was in a sleek black car, designed a bit like an Infiniti. It looked realistic though, and didn't have any 'dream' distortion or features. I got in the back seat, behind the driver's seat; the blonde girl sat beside me, and the brunette got in the front beside my mother. We started driving.

      The dream skipped from this part to a new one, and now we were on a strip of road with a few business/city buildings, and there were sidewalks to either side of us. The road seemed to be a 4-lane road: it was fairly wide, but there were no parked cars. No cars except us, other than the occasional passerby. However even with this skip, I was still lucid; this was unusual, since I usually lose lucidity when that occurs. We probably drove for a minute or so, until I heard police sirens in the distance. They were slightly distorted, almost heavier-sounding, but the cars looked the same as they appeared behind us. My mother pulled over to the right side of the road and stopped the van. One police car stopped behind us, and the other behind that one. So all three cars, including us, were now lined up on the side of the road. I looked around and I could somehow 'see' through the van, and look at the two policemen getting out of the first car. The second police car seemed to be still, as if no one was in it.


      One of the men stayed behind the other. The one in front walked to the front window of our van and tapped on it. "M'am, can you step out of the vehicle?" he asked my mother. I totally did not summon that action, or the words. I figured I'd just go along with whatever the dream wanted to do, since I wasn't too lucid at the time.

      Anyways, my mom got out slowly. I could still see through the side of the van. I could also hear what the policeman was saying, as if there was nothing in between him and I, even though the windows were closed, etcetera. He asked her, "are you the one responsible for the murder of William..." I can't remember the last name. It was a fairly strange last name, and so maybe that's why I can't recall it. My mom looked through the window, still as a stone, to where I was sitting in the vehicle. The gaze almost looked questionable. I look down, suddenly getting an idea. And this is where things began to get a little weird.

      My lucidity rising again, I stepped out of the van, opening the silver door on a hinge (when in real life it would have slid open horizontally), and faced the police officer. "Leave her alone," I told him firmly and confidently. "It's my fault. Although it was an accident..." I was still not attempting to control the policeman DC, although I did sort of "expect" him to pull out a gun and shoot me. It happened pretty quickly; he pulled out a handgun from his uniform pocket and shot me. I held my hand out to shield myself, but the bullet went into my palm. I looked at it, imagining blue blood coming out, and this happened too. There wasn't a lot; it almost looked like I got a blob of navy, almost transparent jelly on my hand. The interesting thing was, that my dreams usually end when I get shot. Perhaps it was because I was able to control what happened after I got shot, that my dream didn't go black.

      By now, I was at a fairly low lucidity level, but I could still think of what to do. I decided to punch the police officer, just on a whim, to see what would happen. I punched him, and he didn't move that much, but he still recoiled. He then pulled out another gun (the first one disappeared) and shot me a few more times, but nothing happened at all. I felt small bullets hitting me on the neck, arms and stomach, but no pain and my dream still didn't fade. I felt extremely confident, and so I told him to hit the road. He backed away slowly, ran back into his car, and drove away.
