    1. Auts, food, grandparents' house, girls, cereal

      by , 05-07-2023 at 10:14 PM
I had this dream this morning before getting up. The first part of the dream was two girls of the same age I'm not sure wether they're siblings (twins) or cousins were in a bedroom, which had a layout of what a bedroom that my Materneal grandparents' house had. The room was known as "the stovepipe roomn" because the pipe from a stove on first floor went through the room. Well any the relatives were sleeping-one of the girls wakes up, and she wakes the other one up and they somehow started talking about wanting sugary cereal but someone wouldn't let them have it. I'm can't remember if they're talking about Nesqik, or Timbits cereal. I don't remember the rest of the dream but what I do remember is the ending-that the dream changes over to an adult who is writing at a desk and they get some kind of feeling and looks down there's an ant on their leg and they look even farther down and they see a parade of ants carrying some cheerio cereal and the last item to be parade by was I think a Jelly-bacon donut that some ants got trapped in so that the adult reached down and grabbed that donut and then went to the sink to wash the ants off to eat some of that donut.
    2. Just an anxiety dream..? [Adult]

      by , 08-13-2019 at 02:28 PM
It's night, and I'm in a bed, but besides that I'm not certain where I am.

I'm in bed with Isata, an ex-coworker and maybe still-friend; in the past she's
told me that she feels comfortable being open with me and putting her trust in
me, and perhaps that's why in the dream we're sharing a bed (and a lack of
clothes), having a - very slightly - flirtatious conversation and are playfully
touching before cuddling to go to sleep - I don't receive from the dream the
impression that we're anything more than just friends.

She needs to do something - I was- and am- not certain what - and whilst I'm
still in the bed she kneel/walks on top of it, deliberately pausing when her
legs are apart above me and her crotch is close to my mouth; in spite of that,
she's surprised and angry when I try to begin to perform oral sex on her.

Things abruptly change - it's still night, but now I'm standing in the dining
room at my grandmother's house; I'm still naked - and now in a state of arousal
      - but I don't seem to be perturbed by either of those things.

Whilst it's still night, my grandmother's house is partly on a
heavily-trafficked road, so there's sufficient second-hand artificial light to
see almost every detail in the room, and my mother - who also doesn't seem to be
perturbed by my nakedness or state of arousal - points out that there's a wasp
clinging to the net curtain; I try to kill it by crushing it with a scrunched-up
tissue and a jam jar or the lid of a jam jar, but it flies away, and I'm not
      able to see where.

I awake with a start, my heart pounding, not because of a fear of the wasp, but
because of Isata's earlier reaction to me.

      ---

      A few thoughts:

      * Whilst the dream was far from a "wish fulfilment" dream - indeed, I don't
remember ever having a "wish fulfilment" dream - the relationship in the dream
is, I think, very close to my ideal sexual relationship: not a relationship
where sex is always a gesture of unplumbable romantic love; and - in spite of my
being an incel - definitely not a relationship where my partner is
more-or-less a living sex toy; but a relationship where sex is relaxed and
playful, two open and trusting friends trying to have fun.

      * My wanting to perform oral sex on a girl I'm friends with, and so care about,
is not out of character for me - I likely learnt about cunnilingus before I
learnt about (male or female) masturbation, and, as a "safe" and "clean" way of
giving pleasure to a friend, it's something I've always wanted to try.

      * However, my trying to kill a wasp is at least a little out of character for
me, as I'm pretty non-violent and, indeed, I prefer not to kill wasps if I'm
      able to avoid it.
    3. Newbie - embracing and comforting yourself as a child when your an adult

      by , 01-06-2018 at 01:23 AM
      Hi everyone,

      Hope everyone is well.

I had a dream last night and the meaning beindbeing it has been bugging be the whole day. I hope someone will be able to help.

In my dream I was shopping with my family and we were all in our current adult form. We all looked really happy together. Then further ahead we could see myself as a younger child, around 3-4 years old. My family were happy and pointing at child me whilst telling adult me "that's you". I went up my child self and picked myself up and started to hug and embrace my child self. I felt really warm as if i was hugging a child of my own that if I'd been missing. My family looked on really happy.

Can anyone help me interpret this dream?

      Thanks x
    4. Intense and LONG lucid dream - ADULT - one short lucid dream fragment (all in the same night!)

      by , 10-26-2011 at 12:21 AM (GypsyDiver's Dream Bible)
I woke up this morning and tried the FILD technique. I'm not sure I had full lucidity in the beginning, but I was at least aware of myself entering a dream.

I've been reading Stephen King's Under the Dome, so I was trapped in a city under a dome much like that one. In fact, we might have been in the book. Then some countries (and it might have been Naruto related) bombed right outside us. People freaked out, but I became lucid around then (or maybe I always had been, my memory on this one is fuzzy) and dove into the sand and dust where the bomb had hit. I swam around in the dust for a while, then came up and went to this huge department store. It was made all out of glass. I started talking casually to the police chief there. I remember that most of the stuff he said was hilarious, and laughing pretty hard. I know I asked him some questions I've always wanted to ask dream characters, but I've forgotten most of what he said.

He started leading me around the department store, kind of like a tour. I kind of snapped back to a heightened state of lucidity, extremely aware. I looked at my hands and was, once again, shocked by how real it was. I KNEW it was a dream, I didn't need to do any checks, but I was still just fascinated. I looked at the name plaque for this woman's office that we were standing outside of. Her name was Wanda something. The name was strange, but the door and plaque and woman looked intensely real. I thought, "Okay, time to get some stuff done!"

There was a door I could try to walk through, but I watched Inception the other night with Leviathen (he'd never seen it) and was now convinced if I tried to leave, my DCs would try to attack me. I didn't want to get shot, so I tried to spin. I could tell I hadn't moved, but I willed myself not to wake up. When I opened my eyes, the police men were coming to tie me to the wall.

      Spoiler for ADULT:

Then the alarm went off and I woke up.

(It really was long, like 30 minutes, I just don't remember most of it. At one point I thought, GEEZ this is a long dream.)

      ---

The second dream took place a couple of hours after the first.

I was running from a large group of people, when lucidity hit me. Something about the running feeling great and how I wasn't tired. I just was sure I was dreaming. I did the nose RC. As usual, it took me a second to realize it was working, that I could breathe.

      Then I woke up.
    5. Semptember 04, 2011, 1 DILD, 2 chained DEILDs

      by , 09-04-2011 at 02:43 PM
So I woke up after 6 hours of sleep, went back to bed, then got into a ND,

      Normal dream/DILD:
I was walking around near my place (in the street), was near a small supermarket, find old, old, old crush, talk to her while walking, tell her let's walk to the end of the street, right there i became aware i were dreaming, and i woke up after a few seconds

      Chained DEILDs:
      1st one:
Woke up from the DILD, kept my eyes closed, thought about lucid dreaming, and did some visualization, dream scene created, a street also near my place, decided to observe surroundings to stabilize, saw a speeding while taxi, span around my axis slowly while observing, dream was kinda fuzzy, rubbed hands, but ended up waking up

So yeah, 3 LDs in one night, awesome ...

I've been averaging about atleast 1 LD per week since my latest DJ entry, but I've been having some issues with the duration of them, And I've been successful in having a WILD finally after 6 months of trial.

Anyways, hope you enjoyed my DJ!,

    6. College in the 18th Century

      by , 01-22-2011 at 08:59 PM
      ---

I dreamt I'm visiting a foreign town far away. I vaguely remember driving up with a friend or two, though I'm not sure exactly who. When we arrive I learn that there is a strict curfew rule enforced by the "adults" who all appear to be scholarly women and men with 18th century facial hair styles and demeanor. They ring a bell and promptly close the doors shutting everyone inside.

One night, a friend and myself decided we had better plans for the night and, instead of going inside when the bell tolls, pose as "adults" and walk the streets. We wander the town to the outskirts search for a gas station where I have a run in with a man who knows me not to be an "adult." He makes passive threats to me, asking if I can run to a building in the distance faster than him in a less-than benevolent tone. I'm frightened, but pass it off and continue walking.

My companion has now assumed the spirit of my girlfriend in real life. At one point I remember holding hands. She has visited the town many times before and maybe even had lived here in here childhood for many years. She points out a bed of cushion and tarp which, she says, is used for dancing on. At that moment, I living severed head walking on crunches comes over the to tarp and begins to dance for us. Afterward, we're greeted by a man who is giving "free" things in return for our mailing address. He offers us an Xbox 360, but I tell him I'd rather fill out the one for free chicken wings. My girlfriend ends up filling both of them out.

Next, we're back in the town center were we first started. The place now reminds me of a college campus than it does a small town. The bell rings again, signaling the beginning of curfew. As the "adults" are ringing the bell a woman in man-made wings, designed to look like a butterfly wing and a sparrow wing, flaps her way to the top of the building. She perches and then takes off through the roof like it isn't there. Her wings are exceedingly more vibrant and magnificent on the other side. I soon realize it is merely a trick caused by the reflection of the water.
