    1. Teaching a DC Dream Control

      I was in my living room, properly lit from an unknown light source. The room was shaped like a pretty thick "L", with white walls, wood molding along the bottoms of the walls, and shiny dark brown hardwood flooring. There were two windows along the longer wall of the room; both had the same type of wood for borders as the molding along the floor. There was a pale red leather couch in the corner of the room on a diagonal, it would only seat one person because of its size. There was a small square-shaped, modern two-drawer wooden cabinet along the wall opposite of the chair. In the middle of the room was a coffee table with modern brass legs and an oval-shaped glass top.

      The rest of the room was empty, except for me and a friend of mine. I knew her in real life. We had just walked into the room and she looked at me expectantly. Although I wasn't lucid, I suddenly got the idea to teach her some dream skills. "We're dreaming, did you know that?" I asked her. And she answered, "really?"

      "Yes. Want to learn some cool stuff?"

      "Sure."

      "See that table?" I said, pointing to the coffee table, "look away from it." She obeyed and I continued to instruct. "Now, think of a package of candy. Expect it to be on the table as you turn around, visualizing it fully." At this point I was facing her and not the table. She turned around and walked towards the table; I looked at it and there was a few balls of chocolate on it. She picked one up and ate it. "Yum."

      Where the heck was my awareness?

      I had a dream.

      Trick or Treating (non-lucid)

      The dream begins at my house and I am running and it is dark. There is a gun involved. But I go outside and the dream turns into trick or treating. I run up the street and follow 3 people. We go inside a couple houses. Nothing really odd happens. I take 2 pieces of a bowl marked "Please take what is Acceptable" I don't recognize the surroundings back out in the street and don't know the way home. I wake up.

    3. Board games and Movie night

      I was walking somewhere in some city with my board game club. We had heard of some place where you could show that you had certain board games to get rewarded with some unique candy that you couldn't get elsewhere. After a while we entered a house. It was like one of those apartment block houses as seen in umeå. Next to a door into an apartment was a scanning thing where you were supposed to scan the bar code of the board games. It was only possible to get the candy reward if you scanned a type of game that no one had scanned before. Also, the stock of the candy was not unlimited so we felt that we probably wouldn't get any candy.

      We scanned the first game which was a really common one. Despite this, it got approved! Tistou's name was shown on some electric device (spelled wrong, however.) and that meant that he should go behind the counter (yes, a counter had appeared with two girls standing behind it that was working there.). Since there was no way around the counter, he tried to climb over it but the staff complained and showed him a hole in it where he was supposed to crawl. He did.

      Next up was another game that we scanned. It also got approval and the screen showed a name. We couldn't see who's name it was because of some disturbance but we guessed it was my name so I crawled inside as well.

      In there was a kitchen with some random people in it. They showed me a nearly empty tube of chocolate sauce and a bunch of papers that was lying in the pantry. I did as I was supposed to, which was to grab a sheet of paper, tear a part from it and squeeze out some chocolate sauce onto it. Then I could lick the sauce from the paper. Apparently that was the unique candy, lol. I explored the area a bit and it had a very slacky feel to it. There were only young people there.

      Somehow I was in a couch with some random dudes in front of a tv. A movie night was upcoming. On the screen they showed a commercial from a new pirates of the caribbean film that wasn't really a sequel since it had nothing to do with the old characters or plot. I think it seemed to be lame. A discussion started on which movie to watch and I jokingly said "lord of the rings!". One guy was like "Oh, yeah, good idea!!" and pulled forth vinyl discs with all three movies in the trilogy in extended version. The other persons were like "Oh, nooo! That one takes ages to watch! damn!".

      Then I don't remember anything more.
    4. Candy Store

      I dug up this entry from a slightly older dream journal.

      I was inside a Candy Store; this place was around the size of a cell phone store and had blue walls, as well as solid and pale confetti-colored flooring. Lining the walls were clear jellybean candy dispensers with different colored jellybeans, and there were a few cylindrical rotating shelves with pull-out drawers spaced out in different areas of the store. The counter with the cashier was in the back of the store in the middle, and it too was painted blue with a confetti-colored countertop.

      My thirteen-year old sister walked up from behind me and said, "I'll be like five minutes in here." I knew I would be taking slightly longer, but I nodded and went to shop. I browsed at a bunch of unidentifiable candy in plastic bags and then went to the jellybean section and looked at the dispensers. I didn't end up buying anything, but then my sister met up with me and she was holding a large, opaque white bag that said "5" on it. I guessed that the five meant pounds.

      She went to the cashier to pay. She was a woman in her forties with curly ginger hair, and was wearing one of those little hats like they give you at Krispy Kreme.

      Except it didn't have anything on it whatsoever, it was just plain white. My sister gave some coins to the woman without even giving them the bag to examine, and then she handed her a survey. My sister looked at me, raising an eyebrow, and then at the survey again. "What is that?" I asked her.

      "A survey about dogs."

      "Why?" I asked her, completely dumbfounded. My gaze then flicked to the cashier who obviously heard my tone of voice and she said, "it's compulsory if you want to buy candy from this store. Take it or leave it, and the candy."

      "This is bull," I spat, immediately frustrated, and took my sister gently by the arm. "We'll get candy somewhere else," I told her. I was still fuming as the two of us stormed out of the place.

    5. 07/07/10 Seems Like 9/11, The Candy Room

      ~Seems Like 9/11~
      It seemed like my family and I were trying to get away from something coming. My mother, sister, and brother were there with me. We ran through these long halls to get out of a building. My brother had some kind of pet following us...it looked like a butterfly in a toy car. It was so slow compared to us, so I had to hold it and run.

      We finally got out of there and headed to the nearest dock. Well, at least I think it was a dock. The small boat there looked like a suburban on water. Lol. It had left already, but the lady saw us and turned around. I had kind of smushed the butterfly by now...and it was in a puddle of its own...yuck.

      The lady 'rolled down the window' and said, "Okay, time to get the noodles out!" (The floating toy noodles?) The boat had already floated near us so we just hopped on. As soon as I got in I remembered about my luggage. "Oh no, I left my bag in my room!" I shouted. My mom said, "Don't worry about it."

      So then a few minutes later we had to stop for chicken fingers. (Wth?) We came to a small gas station looking place, and while my sis was getting the chicken; I looked up at the sky for a bit. I told my mother, "Whoa, Mom. Look at the sky." She did. The sky was all blue except for the smoke. There was smoke going out in 3 directions. One slanting left, one upwards, and one slanting right. I can't remember what we did after this and I woke up.


      ~The Candy Room~
      I'm not sure how we got there, but a bad guy had captured my sister and I and put us in a warehouse of some type. I was able to look down and see my sister. She was hovering in something...I don't know what it was.
      I think I was locked in a candy room; because there was a lot of unknown candy in there. I took one out, and it looked like those candies that you suck on in the shapes of fruit. It was a humongous decorated pack they were in. I showed my sister, and she said, "I can't see it!" Later on, I woke up.

      Fragment 1: I was outside with a bunch of other kids I think there was a parking lot and there was a building. Brian Branstetter Tried to beat me up or kill me after all the other kids went inside. I get a couple of good hits in and get away. It is daylight and the grass is green.

      Fragment 2: There is some kind of talent show going on and there is a very long platform sticking out from a ledge in the building. Kids walk onto the platform and Drew Draper did gymnastics. I found myself in mom's car and I asked if I had a black eye where Brian punched me she said yes...

      Fragment 3: I end up in some sort of store. Devin Griggs is working there with someone else. There is some kind of contest going on I think it's trivia or a search the store thing. I ask Devin about the contest and he said with a smile as he shook his head no "I'm not gonna tell ya." There are glass counters much like the ones in arcades you redeem your tickets for prizes at with candy in them. Devin and the other guy are selling candy but as he was talking to me Devin was outside the counter while the other guy was behind it.

      Caitlin bought 3 or 4 red gum balls and then rolled them down a miniature roller coaster for gumballs on the floor. Later I bought green twisted sticks with gummy stuff inside from and old guy.

      Fragment 4: I was in the school bathroom I think the floors where red tiles like sections of floor at the mall. I was in front of a urinal with some kid to my right and Chance to my left. My [expletive] was like a foot long and I had an [expletive]. I said "Chance look!" He refused several times...
