I lived in the country during World War 5. One of my friends had a job as a mail carrier, and she hated it because she has bad knees. I was riding down a road on the back of a flat-bed pickup with a bunch of noisy teen boys. They were all carrying rocket launchers and machine guns and grenades and stuff. As we drove down the interstate, we would occasionally drive passed a big billboard. At that point, the boys would all jump off, run up to the sign and just DESTROY it with their weapons. Pretty epic.
Dream - Lucid I was in a college classroom, and we were each assigned a personality type and had to find the description in the book, fill it in on a worksheet, and the read it out loud to the class. I had taken this class before, but I couldn't recall the answer. I flipped through the book looking for it. I finally thought for sure I found it. I read it out loud, but I was then told that I was wrong. Ok...so I flipped around the book some more and found another one. "Ok, this is for sure the right one," I said. I really did think it was. I then read it and filled in the blank on the sheet. It still didn't sound right. Upon second glance, I noticed that I had read the description for "Pepsi". I got up to go somewhere really fast. I hoped no one noticed my now second error. I came back and was assigned, by the teacher, who was a middle-aged female, an extra assignment to help me understand the personality type better. Everyone then left. I then was going to another class taught by her. It was the same subject matter, but a higher level; it was a 4000-level class. It was really late at night though; I was looking at the white analog clock on the wall and seeing that it was almost 10pm. I was also the only one in the classroom besides the teacher. I figured that no one had signed up for it but me. I "remembered" when I signed up for it. I also "remembered" taking many classes on this subject in the past, and she was my teacher every time. The subject was something like social work. Since it was just her and I, I told her that I had taken many classes before and I had the notes all somewhere but not with me. I don't remember what we talked about, but we didn't really talk about the subject. I do feel like it was easier for us to talk one-on-one instead of in a crowded classroom. We didn't get to leave until almost 11pm. I figured that this class would probably get cancelled since I was the only one in it. I thought about how this would affect my credit hours; it would put me right at 15, the minimum I had to have to stay a full-time student (it's 12 IWL). I also thought about how I would want another class in the same subject to replace it. I also noticed that it didn't really feel that late; it felt like it was only 7pm or so. I said this to the teacher. She was talking about getting home to her kid and how getting out so late affected that. I then was somewhere else, I believe in the teacher's office. She was telling me that the class got cancelled. She was standing up doing something in a small closet at this point, and I was standing very close to her on her left side. I noticed the gray in her hair. She then started to talk about _____ Williams (can't remember the name she used). He was her nephew. I knew right away that she was talking about my old friend Jennifer's husband. I told her "I know Jennifer. She was my first friend when I moved here." She then asked me "Would you like to go to church?" Not being a church person but not wanting to be rude, I asked "What church do you go to?" "I don't go to one," she said. This answer caught me off guard. Still in the school, I then was watching my husband, who was wearing a light blue shirt and shorts, walk into this passage that slanted upwards. The opening was the interstate. He was going to take the interstate to get somewhere faster. I didn't want to take the interstate, so I walked inside the building to wherever I was going. When I got there, I saw many people walking out of an opening. It reminds me now that I am going back and thinking about it of people getting off an airplane and walking into the terminal. I saw my husband walking out as I was getting there. I guess the interstate really wasn't any faster since we got there at the exact same time. ~ I was at work. Shannon wanted me to work on writing on cakes. She gave me a cake and told me to practice writing "Happy Birthday Charles" on it. She gave me some icing. I twisted the bag and let some excess come out of the tip before I started. Little strings of teal icing came out and went onto the floor. I then went to the cake and started writing. For some reason, I was writing "Charles" first at the top, as if I was going to write "Charles, Happy Birthday" instead of "Happy Birthday Charles". The icing was coming out way too big, and I wasn't going to be able to fit Charles on there because I was also writing way too big. I didn't finish his name before I reached the end of the cake. I scraped the icing off and started again. I tried over and over to do this, always starting by squeezing some icing out first. The closest I got to succeeding was when I wrote "Happy" too far to the right, but it fit. I had started it too far to the right, but the H was very pretty and it looked really nice. The second word I don't think was "Birthday" but I'm not sure what it was. At any rate, it looked like it was moving, and it had some red, white, and blue star-shaped sprinkles around it. The effect that it looked as if it was moving was really cool, and I knew Shannon could do it, so I was really proud of myself. I was then looking at different cake templates. I was writing on an actual cake, but at the same time, it was a book I was flipping through, looking at the different templates for cakes. I then was going to write on the wall in icing. I was writing very close to a light switch. I wrote "Call" and then below it, I started to write "5-5-5". As I was writing it, I started to hear a beep every time the icing was coming out of the bag. I knew that this was some kind of icing that you set with heat. It was coming out in a thin, blood-red gel. I got a little nervous, hoping Shannon didn't hear it because it could stain the wall. I then turned the tip to switch the setting of the icing to a different type and color. I continued to write the 5's. The icing was still red, but looked more like a strawberry jelly now, and no more beeps. I was writing big, so I had to write the 5's at an angle because the light switch was in the way.
Dream - Lucid I was about to race Austin underwater, though we were on two separate courses, though they were both underwater. I remember seeing his face, and he looked so much younger, like a 12 -year-old version of himself. He was smiling and his face looked bright and full of life. I knew right off I couldn't beat him. He was well known for his great swimming skills. I decided to try anyway. The course started out on land, but only briefly. It was in a cave that had a part of it submersed in water. I stood right where the cave lightly sloped into the underwater portion on a white line that had been drawn to designate the start. I stood prepped like I was about to run a race, with one foot behind me in an almost kneeling positing with both my hands on the ground. I got the signal to start, though I can't remember what that was. I went straight into the water and swam hard through the underwater cave. There was no chance to breathe anywhere, for it was, well, an underwater cave, but that didn't seem to be an issue. I was surrounded by underwater plants, anenomes, and gray rock. I swam into another part of the cave on my right. ~ I was in the dining room at my family's house with Lily and Marshall from How I Met Your Mother (this is what happens when I fall asleep watching Netflix). They were doing something on my laptop, some kind of game, and I kept pushing a button repeatedly, trying to fill up some bar to win. Every time I'd get close, they'd shut me down. I then remember sticking a pin or a needle inside part of the computer to push some small button (think the 'reset' button on some electronics where you have to stick the head of a pen inside a small hole to push it). I kept doing that really fast and had a couple more to go when, I again got shut down. ~ I was supposed to meet Jake at a restaurant. He suggested a local hookah bar that I used to frequent in waking life, but I haven't been to in a couple of years. I was surprised he suggested it, but I agreed to go. I got there first and waited on Jake for awhile. I ordered my food and it got there before he did. Finally, he got there and sat down at the table diagonally across from me, to my left. I feel like there were a couple of other people there too. We were sitting outside in the porch area of the bar. Then, Jake looks at me blankly and says "I had sex with you because you're an emotion." This really pissed me off. I was infuriated. I was so mad, my vision started to blur as I looked under the table for my black flip-flops. As I was slipping them on and standing up, I said, angrily, "Well I hope you want to pay for dinner then!" And with that, I stormed off. Jake went after me. We started really getting into it. I vaguely remember us having plastic yellow baseball bats and hitting one another with them (I own one of these in waking life). The restaurant briefly looked like my family's house as we fought through it. During the fight, I felt like he had the upper hand, like he was winning; I felt inadequate. We sat back down at the table and the waitress said something to us, though I can't quite remember what exactly, but it was something about us fighting. We were still angry at this point, and I still felt strangely low, like he was going to break it off with me or something, I'm not sure. It was not a good feeling though. Then, I remember driving on the interstate, waiting for my exit to get there. I was driving back from Nashville. I then suddenly remembered I had no idea which exit to take, and I had forgotten to set up my GPS. I quickly, while driving, grabbed it out of my glove compartment, hooked it up and turned it on. The exit was coming up soon, though it was at an odd place on the GPS map. I knew it was a spirally ramp that I was looking for. The GPS then showed me driving inside a spiral, heading towards the center.

It was a romp through plain insanity this morning! First I dreamed that I was in my old room back home listening to the radio and cleaning up. There was nothing good on the radio, so I turned it off. Then I started searching dresser drawers for this certain pair of underwear that I really wanted to wear the next day. They were a pair white bikini undies, brand-new and I couldn't find them. Finally after searching several different places, I found them just under the bed as if they had fallen there. I was happy. About that time I was hoping for some private time, but my mom came to the door. She was looking for a dress slip that nurses wore under their skirts. I had seen something like that in one of the dresser drawers, so I grabbed it and handed it to her through the door. It looked worn out and used by someone else, and I couldn't figure why she didn't buy a new one. When I went to close the door, a cat on the other side with my mom stuck it's paw through. My mom yelled for me not to close the door, that I might hurt the cat. I was getting frustrated because one thing or another kept distracting me. Finally I got the cat out of my room and then my mom wanted to talk. Oh boy. That's where part 1 ended. Dream part 2 consists of me driving a white van on the interstate with a bunch of other vehicles, like in a convoy. I have no idea where we were going, but in the dream I knew what I was doing. I drove on an over pass and continued to a strange junction with a lot of lanes. I took the one I was supposed to, but it went into a tunnel and the tunnel led to - the inside of an apartment building! It was a new apartment building and construction was not finished. I was driving the van down a hallway and everyone else was still following!! Suddenly I noticed a lot of debris up ahead and it looked like a hole. I slammed on the van's brakes and slid to a stop right at the edge. It was awful. The debris had partially covered a gigantic, dark pit I couldn't see the bottom of. I had just nearly driven all of us into it, but stopped in the nick of time. I got out and looked at where we were. It was ridiculous. We were in a wallpapered hallway with lights and everything. A huge white van was sitting right in the middle, smack on top of the debris pile with the front tires on the edge of the pit. I had stopped so fast, one tire was flat. I was talking with the other people, and we agreed that we should just go downstairs and leave the vehicles where they were. Wow.
