Hello, and welcome to my new dream journal! So I randomly woke up last night at 4:30 and thought, what a great time to try some lucid dreaming! So I tried the WILD technique and some focused thinking. It didn't work. I'm a newbie and got too excited. :p So I rolled over and forgot about it. Next thing I new, I was asleep! I dreamed about being able to lucid dream. :p My family was with me, and I was showing them all the crazy neat things I could do. I remember very vividly throwing a sharpened pencil with extreme accuracy into the head of another man. Then I dreamed I was taken to some sort of lucid dreaming institute building or a sleep-lab sort of thing. My mother and I went into a private room to talk, when I heard a noise behind a cupboard. It was a teenage girl, and I told her to get out of the room. Good grief, no sense of privacy! :p Then I dreamed I had to ride a lawnmower backwards all the way to a big city, which is like nine hours away from us. As I was going along, I heard a thump and realized I had hit a snake. It was very strange, and had a head sort of like a sheep's. Another snake, which I understood to be it's partner, came after me as if in revenge. It reared itself up in the road and looked terrifying! I was in the middle of trying to decide whether I should run over it too and risk getting close to it or back up quickly and hightail it out of there, when I suddenly woke up. Not the most satisfying dream ever, in my opinion

I wouldn't call them nightmares but I am very frustrated with them. Last night would make five total in the last two months. I think I'll make it a dream sign. Recently a little mean old chef I used to work for tried to get a hold of me to see if I'm still interested in working for him. I am not. But the idea bothered me on some level I didn't realize it could. This is the fifth dream I've had in two months about physically working in this kitchen I've never once set foot in before. And it's always the same layout. I should swing by to see if my subcontious is correct. The dreams always start the same. There is a "breakfast nook" with a range top and several strange small pieces of equipment I've never seen before. It's surrounded by a light colored wooden bar area where old people get to watch me make their breakfast. I'll find myself cooking, then a customer will complain. Or the sus chef will start asking me to do other work and I fall behind. Once I was late by 12 hours, and got a talking to. Last night I found myself taking a 3 hour break just so I wouldn't have to return to this senario, but when I came back, I found all the other cooks doing my job in frustration and I still had 3 more hours on the end of my shift. Last night I was finally able to clock out of work and end this shift I've never once been able to get through. So I went into the locker room to change and found old people who complained to the front desk I was changing out of my uniform. I haven't worked for this man in nearly 7 years, I feel like I'm slaving away for him in my sleep! yuk!
1. I was in the car, sitting in the back seat. I was trying to sleep because I was tired. I checked the time, saw that it was five-something in the morning, and briefly wondered why I was up so early. I remember passing a university at some point. 2. I was playing The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. As with most of my video game dreams, all I could see was what was on the screen. However, I almost always find myself playing console games; Spirit Tracks, on the other hand, is for the DS and is almost exclusively touch-controlled. Interestingly, I knew I was touching the screen with the stylus, though I couldn't actually see my hand or the stylus. Anyway, I was in the Forest Realm, in the part where the tracks go just about everywhere and there are usually Dark Trains around. The Dark Trains, however, were faster than they normally are, and the arrow showing which way they would go wouldn't appear until they were just about to turn, so predicting where they would go was much harder. Oh, and they could take shortcuts that only Dark Trains could take. Basically, they were ridiculously difficult to avoid. After getting hit twice by Dark Trains (if you haven't played Spirit Tracks, you get a game over whenever one hits you) - and nearly getting hit a third time - I got frustrated and fed up with them. It turned out I had my Action Replay in my DS, so I pressed Start, which paused the game and brought up a set of options. One of the options was labelled "Star Wars Shouting Power". I had no idea what that meant, but I ignored it and selected to bring up the list of cheat codes. I turned on the code to get rid of the Dark Trains and resumed playing.
((I wouldn't call this a fragment, cause I remember it as a full dream, just most of it is VERY fuzzy and hard to re-call.)) So... I was in this school... which looked like a mix between my middle school, and my high school. Most of what happened is very fuzzy... however, I remember me feeling very excluded, and all these kids thinking I was weird. I remember one part of the dream where we were walking home, it was dark out. The kids I was walking with also thought I was weird, and kind of excluded me, or downed me when I gave my opinion on a conversation they were having.
Last night, I dreamed of looking at a digital clock. It said something like 27:89. As soon as I was about to do a RC to verify, I woke up. There wasn't a rush of excitement, or any emotion at all, and I woke up too abruptly to try and stabilize the dream. Very frustrating. Usually, I discover that I'm entering a dream WAY too early (I wake up abruptly and remember hearing music and/or people talking), and the rush of emotion (not sure which emotion for some reason) is enough to INSTANTLY wake me up. This case was different. I was absolutely emotionless, yet I woke up as soon as I moved my dream hand (I was about to do the nose-plug RC). I didn't move my real hand, so that can't be what woke me up. I think this dream occurred merely to taunt me.

This is what I get for staying up too late...that always gives me weird dreams from a lack of clarity 1) The dream began fairly normally. I was Skype chatting with a friend whom I hadn't heard from in a while and she was just telling me about how they had a chemical leak and had to evacuate the house when suddenly people started peering over my shoulder and refused to go away. Well that was awkward, so I moved to a different computer and tried to keep talking. Before long I was interrupted by another person (who just randomly was there all of a sudden) who told me that the guy that wrote "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" wrote a new song back in 2008 and it was a big hit that I should look up. He wouldn't stop pestering me about it so I gave in and interrupted the chat to look the thing up on YouTube. Couldn't find it anywhere, and the guy had left after a while, so I went back to Skype...only to be interrupted by someone telling me I had to come with them to some gathering at a farmhouse. I didn't want to go, but before I knew it I was right there at the party...and not happy with this DC at all for bringing me there. So then my captors tried to make me feel better by attempting to set me up with one of the girls there. They were nice but I wasn't interested...I just wanted to catch up with my friend on Skype! I ran away to some little office room that had WiFi and opened up Skype on my iPod...and my friend was gone. Frustrated, I went back outside and just hung around until the party was over. Dream Signs: unusual events, being pulled away from a task, frustration with something, being at a new place Big goes here.
Before i start i would like to state i haven't posted in a while just because i haven't had time i would post my past few dreams but the images and memories have dwindled a bit just enough to be not worth my time well i'll post a bit of one just because its kinda important. It started at school then on a bus then in a restaurant on a date with some girl who im pretty sure was my dream guide because i remember being able to see her. then when i woke up i looked back on the dream only to recall a black shadowy figure in place of the girl. Anyway to the dream: It starts out with me in a gears of war type setting my one forearm was gone and instead an axe layed there, large hordes of what looked like locust were attacking me i was not in control of my body instead it felt like a mad puppet master was jerking at strings moving my body as i single handedly killed off wave after wave. i was laughing as the blood spilt all over me ( i know "sketchy" but in my defense it was fun). who ever controlled me was good at it as i was doing alot of crazy stuff i had epic speed and used the axe like a pro at one point they tried to flank me but the omnipotent puppet master made me turn and duck cutting open the 5 locust stomachs and uppercutting the last ones head off after, my dream transistioned into me in an unfamilliar room on my laptop watching some shows and my comp was acting wierd after a while a warning told me i had a virus so i found my anti-virus software CD and installed it (the weird thing about the whole laptop virus thing is now after that dream my computer is crashing and freezing now CREEEEEPPPYYYY). after that i woke up or so i thought. See i have a routine of doing a reality check when i wake up it was kind off a joke because i know when im awake and dreaming and when i go lucid its just because "I know".....until now: i did the reality check first looking at my hands but they looked perfectly normal than i did the better reality check (the one where you close your mouth and nose and try to breathe) but then i realized I COULD BREATH thats when it got creepy i could have sworn i was awake i had never had an already super stabilized dream on par with reality when i was lucid. it was too real i found my self doing more and more reality checks because i was scared if i wasnt really dreaming and tried to fly or something id jump out my window and die after councluding it was a dream i punched out my window but it wouldnt break enough for me to go through i had then started thinking about creepy monsters and stuff but then thought "wait if im dreaming could these monsters just bust through my door and attack me!" but then i thought "wait now that i thought that will it happen!" good thing they didnt i was sure they would any minute though so then because i was unable to get out of my room i thought ill just fall backwards and go to a sick dream scape so i closed my eyes and fell back only to feel pain in the back of my head and i was like "did i really just hit the floor REALLY!" so i just layed there baffled because all the times i tried this i either wake up, go non-lucid or get stuck in a black void i cant escape from get frusterated then wake up. as i layed there i thought it would suck if creepy hands came out from under my bed (which i was laying beside) and grabbed me then i was like "crap now it could happen and immediatly stood on my bed while feeling disappointed about not being able to escape the prison that was my room. after that i had a strange feeling someone was watching me and ended up waking up only to have a weird feeling like my dreamguide is finally ready to reveal herself (i know its a she because when i called out to her a female voice replied). well hopefully this dosent happen again but it would be even better if i could just WILD huhhhhh well in due time maybe...
Wow, I just spend over an hour typing about a WILD I had last night on my Iphone and I hit post and all I got was a white screen. Frustrating.
