    1. Video Games and the Teen Soap Conspiracy

      by , 01-24-2013 at 12:37 AM
01-22-2013 -- I'm somewhere watching television with some young friends. Or perhaps playing video games. It keeps changing back and forth. Or even playing some kind of live board game type of game. One of the video games turned live game involves a small blue ball, half physical, half made of energy, that appears, then grows until it is three or four inches in diameter.

You have to take the ball and roll it at a target perhaps a meter away. You have to roll it, because the target is very small, too, and if you try and toss it, it is almost impossible to hit. Roll it, and if you roll it soft enough to control the aim, you probably won't register a hit. Roll it harder, and you lose control to be sure it will hit the target. Very challenging. The kids I have been playing with decide to leave, and as they do, their grandmother starts to give them instructions.

It turns out to be Bonnie M., and since she and I are no longer on good terms, I decide I probably ought to leave, especially since she is wearing a rather see-through mesh bathrobe with only a pair of panties underneath. I start to pack up the game, and a playing piece that seems to be almost a cross between a blue poker chip and a pog accidentally flips into my mouth and I start to gag on it slightly. I manage to spit it out, wipe it off, and pack it away in the box.

Oddly enough, Bonnie seems to want me to stay around and watch TV with her, like old times. Meanwhile, she has turned into a grade school teacher, and we are sitting in her classroom, which includes her TV, chair, and a class bookshelf. I am scanning the books, and am very pleased to see, along with other titles, Gordon Korman books and Three Investigators titles. There is also a cat that I am petting.

We start to watch TV, and she is watching a sort of teen soap opera kind of show that involves a smooth blond kid kind of like Paul-Mark Gosselaar, but without the pranking. He is with a bunch of other students that are trying to get him to sample a pranking sort of item that they claim will turn him into an Incredible Hulk-style monster for a few minutes, but he refuses to try it.

He is kind of a foreign exchange student, is imperfect in the language, and is really driving them crazy because for some reason he would make an incredible football player, but he has absolutely no interest in playing, and they just can't talk him into it. Meanwhile, he has got a sort-of girlfriend who is a cheerleader, but doesn't mind that he refuses to play football. She is played by Hayden Panettiere, of course.

There is a coach played by Jane Lynch, but she is a strange one, and is lecturing the cheerleader on not wearing a skimpy enough costume, and having the nerve to wear panties, which means the coach can't perve on her when she is making out with her boyfriend. Very odd. All this seems to be taking part at the Buena Park Mall, and time is passing very quickly.

I am trying to remember as much about the show as I can, because it seems to be turning into real life, and the government now seems to be after us. It is an odd sort of conspiracy, because as long as we don't realize anything is going on, they leave us alone, but as soon as we start to notice there is anything to notice, they are after us. I try to hide by acting normal, and try to go back to Bonnie's classroom.

I want to take the time to write all of this in my dream journal, but I need a little privacy to do so. I open the door to the classroom to walk in, but it is now filled with students and adults, and a young Flo from the Progressive commercials is just finishing reading a paper on how her ultimate goal in life is to advertise insurance. I suppose she'll be successful at accomplishing it.

The person in charge has been staring at me, standing in the back of the classroom, and refuses to go on or call up any more students to read their papers until I am gone, so I walk out of the classroom and shut the door behind me. Meanwhile in the quad, the coach is trying to remove the cheerleaders panties while all the students are arguing with Mark-Paul to play football, and I can't seem to write properly. I am trying to write my usually tiny print notes across the top of the page, but I can't seem to help jumping all over the page in my writing. All the time, I seem to be getting advice on job hunting.
    2. Wipeout (Dream version) o.o

      by , 09-27-2012 at 04:28 AM (Dimension X)
Some of you may know about the show called "Wipeout". It's basically a televised obstacle course. But anyways I had a dream that I actually got past, or actually beat the obstacle course and won the show I don't remember many details, unfortunately... But it was actually pretty fun. I made it to the last part of the obstacle course and got to the finish line. Almost fell in the water a few times. But I still won xD
    3. The Simulation Gestgeme (jest-jem-ee)

      by , 07-23-2012 at 08:32 AM (Dimension X)
this one was kind of like a tv show... But all I remember is that there was this guy tied to this fence, and some other guy was trying to get the guy on the fence to reveal important information. the man not on the fence threatened the other with a shovel...like...about to hit him, but then the man on the fence spoke what sounded to me like gibberish. but apparently, the most important information desired was just the words "The Simulation Gestgeme". (my brain made up another word, it seems -_-) As soon as that information was revealed, the man with the shovel backed down, said something, and then walked away, leaving the other man on the fence. A third DC came along somehow and i remember him saying to the man that had the shovel "Now forgive me for not knowing all this oogly boogly stuff, but what the hell is a Simulation Gestgeme...?! "

      That's all I remember...

My Dream Recall ability is definitely improving
    4. 10 Things I Hate About the Big Bang Theory

      4 Aug 2011

Very vague, something about keeping a look out for ten things, also reference to an equation from the final question in the physics bowl in an episode of "The Big Bang Theory", the solution being '-8PiAlpha' (both the solution from the show and the one which I derived in my dream) and reference to the 824 party as organized IRL by individual(s) unknown, to be held on the morning bus on August 24, 2011 (8/24). No other details.
    5. Holidays

      by , 07-31-2011 at 04:07 PM
I dreamt that I was watching some television program about the origins of various holidays. This was a rather strange dream, because in it I was male and had a sister. I wasn't lucid at all during this, but I had a false awakening, where I dreamt that I woke up after about 15 minutes of sleeping and recorded the dream in this journal.
    6. Dr. Demento attends Les Miserables and Misty Morning, Albert Bridge

      by , 01-27-2011 at 06:26 AM
This was from January 25th, sleep beginning at 10:30 PM and ending at 6:00 AM.

      First Dream:

My mother and I were attending a performance of Les Miserables inside an old, ornate church. Weird Al Yankovic may have been in the audience. Dr. Demento, the radio DJ, sat near us. For some reason I had the overwhelming urge to get his autograph, which seemed to irritate him, and I became flustered when I realized I had no memorabilia on hand. My mother produced a blank CD case from her purse and he autographed that. His "autograph" was this:

      "To No One,

      No Fun,

      Nobody."

My mother didn't want him to sign anything for her and this embarrassed me.

      Second Dream:

I went with two women, the identities of which I can't recall, to some unknown event in a neighboring town. Somehow this changed to me being driven somewhere by my mother and passing by the cemetery where my great-grandparents are buried. My grandmother called on my cell phone and somehow I began to complain that she gave too many bad and/or unnecessary Christmas presents, which caused her to sound offended and hurt and I regretted it immediately. Then she angrily accused me of disliking the song "Misty Morning, Albert Bridge" by the band The Pogues, and of dislike The Pogues in general. I explained that I never mentioned that I like that song and band to her because I never thought they would interest her and that I actually listened to that song and the album it appears on, "Peace and Love," many times when driving to her house. She then began to play the song over the phone and became quiet. My grandfather awkwardly took over the conversation. When I asked what had happened to her he said in an odd, reluctant, insincere manner that she fell and then went to bed.

      Third Dream:

Morgan Spurlock sat eating in an old mall food court while "former students" visited him and thanked him for inspiring them with his film "Supersize Me" and his series "30 Days."

Second Sleep: I returned to sleep an hour later at 7 AM (in an attempt at WBTB and WILD) and ended up sleeping until 11:20, the morning of the 26th.

      First Dream:

I briefly dreamed of a somewhat intimate experience with a female friend, which ended with us discussing animated movies from our childhood and the possible psychological effects they might have had.

      Second Dream/Continuation of First Dream:

I experienced a false awakening. I awoke and, in a fully dreamlike state of mind and without getting ready for going out in any way, I walked zombie-like to my car and began driving to my local Walmart to buy a bread knife, something I had intended to do (or at least considered) that morning but wouldn't have done without personal grooming and etc. first. During the drive I thought about the fact that the previous dream was only a dream and not real, felt bittersweet about it, and turned on the radio where I heard Joe Brown's live cover of George Harrison's "I'll See You In My Dreams" from the "Tribute to George" concert.

Once parked at the Walmart I realized I'd forgotten my driver's license and had a panic attack. I tried to drive home quickly but somehow I ended up in the wrong lane and couldn't find any place to turn around, eventually ending up in an alternate version of my university about an hour and a half away. I attempted to change lanes in a roundabout but somehow couldn't and then turned into a small parking lot in an alley where in real life my usual outside parking lot is. While in this alley I realized I had no money and was nearly out of gas.

Suddenly everything appeared in third person point of view and I was the character Roy from the British comedy "The IT Crowd," it was my birthday and I was riding a small motorcycle. I realized that what I was experiencing was not real life and therefore not worth having a panic attack over, but rather than realizing that I was dreaming, I thought I was playing a video-game, but I couldn't tell if the game was Grand Theft Auto IV or Just Cause 2. I suddenly saw some sort of large fuel depot or explosives factory and saw a visual signal to shoot at it and blow it up, as one sees and is is prompted to do in the game Just Cause 2. Satisfied that Just Cause 2 was the correct game I was playing, I evaded the enemy fighters inside and road off onto a lonely highway heading home.

Possible Third Dream or Continuation of Previous Dream:

I arrived at my garage, possibly from the journey of the previous dream. Inside there about three older actresses, one was Dame Judy Dench, the second I forget the name of, and the third was one I didn't actually recognize as a real person. Also there was Jeff Bridges. The entire scenario played out as a bizarre plot in which the elderly women constantly modified certain babies into clones for their consciousness to inhabit, and referred to as "genetic reprogramming." The earlier dream with my female friend was referenced when Jeff Bridges began to kiss a young woman who turned out to be one of the older women using some sort of high-tech disguise. In the end the old ladies, except the one I didn't recognize, agreed to give up the "genetic reprogramming" plot they'd employed for so long. One child clone was left, Jeff Bridges' son, and he became a young rocker in a band and a big Bob Dylan fan, and we went to the local post office and prank called him, and later joined his band after vanquishing the one old woman trying to take over his body.
    7. Roseanne Conner is my crazy mom.

      by , 12-11-2010 at 05:01 PM
Getting a little better at recalling my dreams I suppose. I'm just having trouble putting it into words so that others understand.

I enjoy the tv show Roseanne a lot and in my dream for a short period my mom and dad were Roseanne and Dan Conner. We lived in this rather large fancy house and were all running around quite frantic as if we were late for something. It was night and had snowed quite a lot. I remember the color of the night like standing in a street full of street lights at night. That somewhat soft amber light.

Dan, my dad, went out to shovel and warm the cars while Roseanne, my mom, started arguing with her sister from the tv show, Jackie. Ultimately the fight was about Jackie wanting to live her life and make her own decisions and Roseanne thinking she can rule everything, including her sisters life.

I stuck up for Jackie which pissed Roseanne(mom) off to no return. The next thing I remember was trying to touch up my makeup before we leave but not being able to find my mascara or eye makeup brushes that were literally just in front of me*. I kept asking my mom, who at this point turned into my mom, where they were and she just glared at me and ignored me like she does in real life.

Mom heads out to the garage and I see her get into my bffs Lebaron and back out like a mad woman. The driveway is like my bffs where it goes in a downward direction from the street. Its scary with the snow because you slip all over the place. My mom ends up backing off the side of the driveway into snow. The car turns its nose completely upright to the sky buried deep in snow on either side and Dan, my dad, rushes over to help her. She gets out still angry and starts heading towards me.

I don't remember anything after that.

      <3

*Side note: I have dreams like this a lot where simple tasks take forever. In this case getting ready. I was attempting to touch up my makeup and at one point its going smoothly. The next I'm having trouble grabbing things, the things I grab turn from one thing to another, those things are possibly things I didn't even use when applying makeup, and then parts go missing giving me this fear that I'm being forced to leave or finish without completing what I was doing. In other dreams its closing windows or locking doors. No matter what I do they never stay shut or lock securely. Why is this?
