    1. 01/9-10/2012 (weird fragments)

      Caramel Man

I am talking to a vending machine, or watching cartoon logo people for candy, or something of the sort. It's a bit hard to explain. There is a caramel candy, which is also a guy, or maybe it's the logo of the caramel candy brand. Anyway, the caramel guy is eating a chocolate bar that has caramel in it. The other candies think that this is disgusting, and is a lot like cannibalsim. Anyway, caramel guy eventually falls into a huge flow of caramel, which the other candies think is dangerous to him. But, someone points out, to Caramel Man caramel is like kryptonite. Instead of being completely lost in the caramel, just the tips of his hands are burned and the caramel dissolves around him.

I wake up from this dream laying on my stomach with my arms outstretched partly thinking I am flying like the superhero Caramel Man. In a half conscious state, I try to do a DEILD, with the following result:

As I lay there watching the dream form around me, I find myself in my workplace (a hospital). But I'm not very lucid. However, for some reason I am dreaming that I know I am not lucid without actually being lucid. I call out to some nurses standing around to help me get lucid. But things get out of control completely. An older female doctor comes along. She is apparently attracted to me. She says something kind of obscene, which is some kind of a really stupid pick up line. Then she does something disgusting which I would rather not write here, and I wake up.

      New Comics

This dream is interesting, because it involves a dreamsign that I never think about until I have it. It is not one of my more common dreamsigns, but sometimes it pops up and occurs multiple times in a series of nights. We'll see what happens with this in the nights to come.

I am reading a Calvin and Hobbes comic book. It is also Peanuts and Garfield, I think. Or else it is a comic that is niether of these but similar in some way. As in all of these kinds of dreams, I flip through the book and find comics I have never read before. They are darkly shaded, as always, and at least in past dreams often have some kind of dark depressing subject matter. But I believe that last night the subject matter wasn't quite as dreary looking. Either way, I am still delighted to find Calvin and Hobbes comics that I have never read.
    2. Shootin' Cops

by , 01-11-2012 at 01:19 AM (Jakro Goes Hardcore Into LDs)
I finally had enough recall to write about last night & day - that's right, it seems that my sleeping pattern has organically turned into biphasic. I don't mind, I've always been drawn to that kind of sleeping. I used to try polyphasing heavily back some time ago, but that didn't really succeed. Anyway, I'm still not fully satisfied with my recall. I remembered a lot, but for the most part it was just fragments. I'm going to write here the longest fragment.

      Shootin' Cops
      Date: January 10th, 2012
      Lucid: No

I don't think I was in my own body in this dream, it was more like being in some charismatic dude's body. I don't know what I was searching, but I opened some kind of coffin and it tilted towards me, so that some stuff got all over me. It caused weird, tingling sensation in my body.

Then I transformed to our house's kitchen. There was some woman there. I told her about my sensations. She said that she needs to do something to me. She used an odd word that I didn't understand, so I can't exactly tell what she said. I feel that there was something supernatural going on there, like I've gotten some kind of curse over me from the coffin and she had to remove it.

She took my hand gently and held it and we had a beautiful, silent moment there. But it had to be ruined, obviously. The cops arrived to the house with their lights on and sirens howling.

Oh shit. My alter ego knew that he was in trouble. He stayed calm and picked up the lady. I was thinking like I was creating a plot twist, that "they must keep touching, or else whatever the woman was doing won't work." So on some level, I knew it wasn't real, but my brains wouldn't tell me what it was and I wasn't smart enough to realize it's a dream.

So now I was there carrying in the woman with my masculine alter ego body. I went to the back of the house and jumped out of the window with her, thinking that we'd could get away.

Not gonna happen. For some reason couple of police were laying on their backs in the backyard and got up immediately after I jumped down. They started firing at me. Brutal, they'll just fire at me despite me carrying an innocent civilian? Anyway I get a pistol from somewhere and start firing back. To my surprise I hit, and then I remember like I've read, that this guy is an excellent shooter. So it's a book now? Mkay...

After killing the first two cops the rest of them run behind me and keep firing towards me. Dream started fading, but I still remember that I wasn't hitting them anymore when the dream ended. I remember being frustrated, but not really scared - I still knew that it was something not real.
    3. The Junkyard Flood & Terminal Terror

by , 01-11-2012 at 12:50 AM (Twisty's Gallery of Dreams)
      January 7, 2011

This dream was sort of two parts. They connect, but it was real hazy in the middle. I wouldn't say that this was a nightmare, but really actiony with a couple of thrillers.

I was in a nice house, with a huge glass window on one side that looked out onto the valley surrounding the place. There was a group of people there for some reason, but I can't remember what for.

Soon, I had to leave, and decided to take a shortcut home through the forest. At one point, we (for some unidentifiable people had joined me) came across a large junkyard. A storm quickly arrived, causing a nearby dam to break and flood the entire thing, leaving pieces of nearly everything lying around. We knew that we couldn't get across any other way, and that this was our only option.

I stepped onto a plank of wood that shifted like crazy, bit just managed to get to an upturned desk. I had to keep going, since whenever I stepped on something, it was only a matter of moments before it would sink beneath the churning waters. As I leapt towards a bunk bed, I knew midair that I wasn't going to make it. I was easily a yard away when I fell through the water. As my breath slipped away, I made one final surge and grabbed onto the railing, pulling myself up, coughing and sputtering.

I soon after made it up to the shoreline, and climbed a steep hill to find myself behind my backyard. The gate was locked, so I decided to take an alternate route through my neighbor's house. They gave me quizzical looks when I, drenched in water, dashed through their house, saying, "Sorry, I just need to get through here real fast."

The next portion of my dream was real hazy. I vaguely remember being at a movie theater. On the screen, this show was playing about these horrible creatures that would transform people into more of themselves. At the end of the film, they advised humans to go to their building.

Strangely enough, my dad wanted to go see what this was all about, so he loaded me and my two siblings into our car and drove to the address.

I was shocked to see that it was at an airport. Even weirder, there was our exact same car, already there. There were many different buildings that made it up, but we walked towards one called "Souvenirs." There, we found a slushy stand, with a monstrous creature from the movie behind it. It offered us some odd-colored slushies, and said they were for "converting." My family members willingly starting drinking them. I tried everything to get them to stop: begging, screaming, crying, but nothing worked. My dad said that, "It's not worth fighting. They all started to lose all sanity, and their skin began to turn various hues. This was when I knew I had to get out.

There was supposedly a force field that kept us from leaving, but it didn't affect me. As I turned the corner, I bumped into none other than Stephanie. I told her that we needed to get out of here this instant, and we started for the exit. Right as we were about to leave, a rhino-man (for I have no better way to describe him) blocked our path. He charged, but fortunately, missed horribly, and crashed into the door, breaking it open. Stephanie and I ran towards the car, and finding it unlocked, hopped in and bolted the doors tight.

Suddenly, we heard a knock on the window to our right, and were stunned to see Mitchell Musso standing there.

"Will you by my CD?" he asked. "I need some more money to pay for the limousine."

I started to say no, but was stopped by none other than Justin Bieber.

"Do you think that you can actually get away?" he sneered. "My masters sent me personally to stop you. Prepare to know the true definition of pain!" Out of nowhere, two female ninjas with those ninja fighting sticks jumped to his side.

      I desperately turned to Mitchell.

"If you help us fight off these guys, I'll buy your CD. Deal?"

      "Deal."

Mitchell, Stephanie and I then engaged the trio in a battle that would have made Chuck Norris proud. We beat them, but just barely, and knowing that they would soon regain consciousness, we ran off, away from the airport as the world slowly faded to black.

Analysis: The junkyard vaguely reminded me of the junk from the opening sequence of "Adventure Time," and also of the furniture I had recently seen out at the curb for the trash. I had been at an airport a couple of weeks ago as well. To be honest, I didn't even know that Mitchell Musso was a singer, until I Googled him after waking up. I'm just so glad I could beat up Bieber as well.

    4. Cartoon Worm

      by , 01-11-2012 at 12:38 AM (* The Sandman's Dream Journal o/***)
      Cartoon Worm

This is the second cartoon dream I've ever had. This makes it really strange to me.

It was like I was watching a movie, but the events were real. There was a green caterpillar, but in my dream it was some type of worm. It was green with a dark green stripe and a light green stripe.

The worm was on a stick under water. It swam from the right side of my field of view to the left, but then it saw a snake, so it swam back to the stick and tried to hide behind it, though the worm was much larger than the stick.

The worm was swimming to a mate, but couldn't make it due to the snake. I watched the worm swim in an undulating motion the way you might expect a worm to wiggle.

When the worm was hiding behind the stick, he started shaking with fear. I could almost see the lines that one would draw to indicate shaking with fear.

The worm eventually swam to find it's mate again, but the dream ended.

    5. War Part 2

by , 01-11-2012 at 12:31 AM (INeverWakeUp's Super Dream Journal)
      1/10/12(Late Morning)*

** Don't move! Don't open your eyes! I actually remembered! Woohoo! I keep my eyes closed and don't move. I now think about the dream I just left. I now quickly fade back into my dream.*

** I now find myself back in the same dream, in the same spot. I'm back with the convoy. We're still securing the city. It takes me a minute, but I finally remember. Oh yeah, this is a dream! Woohoo! My first normal DEILD!*
** So I'm now lucid! Kick-ass! So I actually remember to do my task to jump off the Twin Towers this time. However, I now have a false awakening!
** I now "awake" in a building in the city I was just in. I get up, and I start walking around. Everyone is in casual wear now instead of our battle gear. I also noticed some of my family members were here too. I eventually went to sit down by a window. I had a nice view of the city outside. A nice set of buildings. A good second floor view.*
** I now notice something bizarre. There was some stuff all over the streets and grass. Literally mass puddles of it. A shiny liquid. A shiny liquid of a pure red color. It was blood.*
** "What the hell is that?!" I exclaim. The commander comes over and looks outside. He becomes worried, and gets us ready. I go outside now to keep watch. However the dream soon fades and I awake. This time I fail to DEILD. **

    6. Where am I

by , 01-11-2012 at 12:24 AM (Tales from the sun chaser.)
I remember talking to someone who reminded me of this girl I dated once. I was thinking it was her for a while, and just waiting for us to argue about something, but it never happened. I don't remember what we talked about, but I was also thinking about "whenever I go back". I knew I didn't belong there, but it was weird....like I just knew I didn't belong in that part of the dream or something.

Had another dream I was in New York with my sister. We were getting a tour at several buildings and this lady told us to get off the fence.

Had a frag where I was watching a movie with my cousins. This lady wakes up in some metal suit and doesn't know where she's at. The suit covers her arms, legs and head. Her torso is exposed, and she's looking around, trying to get the hell out. Some big ugly guy tells her to go back to where she was, and she decides to high tail it. As soon as she does, the guy grabs her by the face, slings her on the ground and she goes unconscious. The guy takes out a knife and makes four slashes on her chest and takes up chunk by chunk and starts eating her. I told my cousins "why did this guy use a standard text book dissection technique to open her up?"
