    1. 12/10/08 Astronaut

      by , 07-06-2010 at 02:58 PM (Capoopy's Dream Journal)
I had signed up to be an astronaut. I dont remember the liftoff, but I remember being in the rocket shortly after it. It was me and 2 other guys on our way to the moon. One of the other guys had to go injo cryogenic sleep. He was the one that was landing on the moon ( Me and the other guy werent for some reason) I dont really remember but I think something went wrong and we werent able to land on the moon.
The aftermath was the biggest part of the dream. We had all gotten home safely but everything in our lives went wrong after that. We had "a couple of diamonds" according to a narration I heard. But our families hated us for some reason. My aunt had threatened me for some reason and nobody seemed to give a rats hat that I had just come from space. Thats all I remember, I wish I could remember the parts about the cryogenic sleep.

I was on a train with my mom and my brother and I was on my way to school. We sat across from a girl and her mom. The girl looked about my age. We went on the same way for a few days sitting across from the girl and her mom for a few days but never paying attention to them (I think we werent suppsed to talk to anyone on the train, or anywhere for that matter). One day on the way off the train, the girl slipped a note into my hand. It said "I love you."
I didnt really know what to think. I saw her the next day on the train. We didn't look at each other a whole lot, but I could tell she was thinking about me. The rest of the dream was quite hazy, but I know that we met in a bathroom and kissed. I really wish I could remember more details, my favorite dream by far

I was in some sort of trailer park and I thought that I had stopped time, but there wasnt any frozen people or stopped cars or anything that would normally move. I walked around trying to confirm that I had stopped time. I was pretty convinced until I noticed that I was being followed by a boy on a red bike. Lets call him Charlie. Anyways me and Charlie walked around the trailer park for a while. I still kinda though I did stop time, so I jumped off a small hill to see what affect gravity had on me. I closed my eyes, jumped, and landed on my feet. Charlie did the same thing. I was pretty much convinced I hadnt stopped time by then.

Well to start off my Dream journal for Lucid Dreams I should start of with my first non-Lucid that I recall for that month which is June...

      Dream 1
      6 June 2010
      Sunday

I dreamt I was in a factory's parking lot, running from someone with a women who was attractive and had long Black curly hair. Next thing I knew we were fighting a bunch of bad guy gremlins who were working for the guy who was chasing us. These gremlins are like the ones in that move "Gremlins" ( I know surprise surprise right) . Then I saw a policeman who was old and slightly overweight who was assisting us in battling the gremlins. The cop shot the second in command of the bad guys. The second in command looked like your typical gangster but with short messy hair that was brown he also Looked dirty then out of no where someone shot the cop and he was down. The beautiful women who I was fighting alongside with was starting to search for the shooter of the cop. What I also noticed was that even the second in command was crouching like the gremlins and the Gremlins acted like gangsters as well. Then the leader came out of no where, he wore a long brown trench coat. Did I forget to mention that this battle was in my garage. We then were at the factory again when the leader appeared. Though now there millions of Brainwashed human workers and billions of gremlins to fight. The leader mocked us and said we were trapped like a typical villain would. He also said we can't leave forever ,we tried to fight our way out but like he said we can't leave so we couldn't leave.

      The End

Dream signs: -Women who had long black hair
      -Factory
      -My Garage
      -Policeman
-Cell phone ( there was a cell phone some where)
      - My best Friend.
    5. 07/04/10 An Army of Two

by , 07-06-2010 at 08:10 AM (New Dream Adventures of Raven Knight)
I was in a strange place. I looked around to see where I was. I was in a strange city. I looked around and I saw that I was in a space between two buildings. I looked out on the street and saw this city appeared to be populated by orcs. They were moving quickly from building to building, talking to each other only briefly before moving on. I saw that there seemed to be a lot of orcs near one building. I wondered what was happening over there. I wondered how the orcs would react if a human was suddenly found among them. I hesitated for a few minutes due to that, but for some reason I felt ok about going out onto the street, into the open. I felt ok about it, as if doing that would not put me in any danger. I stepped out onto the street and headed for the building where all of the activity seemed to be taking place.

As I walked across the street I noticed that the orcs were noticing my presence. They were turning to look, appearing very curious about me. None of them seemed hostile, though. They just seemed curious. I reached the building where all the activity was with no interference. When I got there I saw that the orcs were rushing in and out of the building. None of them were paying much attention to me. I looked into the building. There were orcs in beds everywhere. They looked to be in various stages of injury, They were all being tended to by doctors or healers… When I got in there, one of the orcs came over and quickly ushered me outside. She followed me off to the side of the door. She said the hospital was very busy, so unless I needed medical help, could provide aid, or needed aid, please stay out of the way. I asked what was going on. She smiled, then she turned and walked away.

I still wanted to know what was going on. I wondered who could tell me something about what was happening. While I didn't feel any hostility, I did feel an intense sense of urgency. I walked down the street towards someone who looked like they were in charge. Just as I was getting close to him, however, another orc came running up. This one was female. She said there was another attack force approaching. The male orc looked very disturbed by that. He said they didn't have any more warriors to send. He said most of them were too badly injured from the last attack… and those who weren't injured were completely exhausted. There was no way they could handle another attack… This sounded like a possible DDO quest. I would have to find out more. At thinking of it as a DDO quest, I stopped for a moment… DDO? Tigress does RC's when playing DDO… so I would do that, too. I did a RC and found out I was dreaming. But my goal was still the same. Find out what was going on.

I asked who was attacking. The woman looked at me strangely. She said the trolls, of course… I asked what she meant. She asked if I had just dropped from the sky… the troll army, they were attacking again. She said I had gotten myself into the wrong place… there was no way their defenses could handle another attack. I asked how many trolls. She said there appeared to be well over a thousand trolls… their biggest assault yet… And then there were the traitors who had fled the city to join with the enemy. She said hope was lost. I said no, it wasn't. I told her I would just have to intercept them. She said there was no way I could do that alone. I told her not to worry, there was an army ready to move in. An army? She asked an army of how many? I thought for a bit… I said definitely 256, I was expecting it would be 512, maybe as many as 1024. She asked if I didn't know how large my own army was. I said it depended on how many they had managed to gather up. She said maybe they should save themselves and run. She said full grown orcs couldn't match strength with a troll… and no offense, but an orc is much stronger than a human.

The orc that looked like he was in charge interrupted the woman. He said if the humans wanted to go out and get themselves killed in battle, then that is to be commended. It is much better to be killed in battle than to live in fear. The woman said that it is also foolish to go into a battle when you know you can't win. The leader said it was, in the end, up to the humans what they wanted to do. He said if my army of humans could hold the attacking hoards off just long enough for them to get the injured, the very young, and the very old to safety they would be extremely grateful and would make sure my army and I were well rewarded. He added that if we were in need of supplies… armor, weapons, rations, their resources would be at our disposal. It is well known that orc armor and weapons are among the best, although humans probably would have little use for orc rations… except for the mead… I told him not to worry, we were already well equipped. I asked where the trolls approached from. He said the south. I said perfect, we would have no problems intercepting them. With that I headed for the gate to the city.

I took flight, much to the surprise of the orcs around me, and flew over the gate and headed south. There were, indeed, hoards of trolls. I saw some orcs mixed in with them. I landed in front of the hoard. I landed near the one who appeared to be the general. I walked right over to him. I asked him if there was any possibility of them turning around and going home so things wouldn't have to get ugly. He and several others around him laughed. He said this stupid human amused him… so if I wanted to live, he was going to give me to the count of 10 to get out of his sight.

"All the way to 10?" I asked mockingly, "I'm impressed. I didn't realize trolls could count that high." The general glared at me and said I was no longer amusing him. I told him if he turned his forces around and left immediately, no one would get hurt. He said I would be wishing no one had been hurt. He took out his sword and tried to run me through. His sword hit my Witchblade armor, which formed instantly. The troll was quite surprised by that. I said if he was surprised by that, wait until he got a load of what was coming up next. I was about to focus on my multiplication spell when I saw there was another human there with me. It was Tigress. She asked what was going on. I motioned towards the army of trolls and orcs. I said if she wanted to help, just go ahead and kill something. In fact, kill lots of somethings. The trolls laughed some more. I guess the idea of Tigress killing lots of them was very amusing to them. Tigress multiplied. There was a paladin version of herself in shining armor with a large glowing sword… a rogue version of herself which was a halfling and had a dagger dripping with poison… and a fighter version of herself which was a warforged and was carrying two nasty looking swords… and that was in addition to her normal self.

So now I focused on the song Divide by Disturbed. 2… 4… 8… 16… 32… 64… 128… 256… That's where I normally stop. I saw that all of Tigress had dispersed into the enemy army, killing as she went through them. I thought I saw the pally split into two pallies, so Tigress wasn't done dividing, either. So even as the trolls attacked all of my clones, I continued multiplying… I wanted to push the limit. Another split… 512 of me. Every part of my mind seemed to be consumed by a different part of the fight. Cutting down a troll here, running my Witchblade sword through an orc there… There were still so many more trolls than there were of us… Should I keep dividing? I wasn't sure what would happen… I decided I had better not chance it until I knew for sure 512 would work well… So the fight continued. Having 512 of me was rather disorienting, but since all of us were focused on the same task, that made it easier. All of us were utilizing our Witchblade swords to cut down trolls and orcs wherever we found them.

Then I noticed something… one of the orcs had put his sword through one of my clones! His sword had managed to penetrate her Witchblade… I wondered how that was possible. Had dividing the Witchblade that many times made it less effective? My Witchblade spoke to me in my mind, saying the others were not as strong due to the dividing… but the original me still had a fully effective Witchblade. I felt the energy from the clone return to me. Ok… 511 of me… The fight was intense, and disorienting as I tried to direct each of my clones at the same time. A couple more clones went down, but that was nowhere near the number of trolls to fall. Soon the field was littered with dead trolls and also some fallen orc traitors. Only Tigress and I were left… there were 64 Tigresses and 486 of me.

Tigress looked around at all of the Ravens standing around her. She asked if I could have made any more of me. I said yeah, I thought I could have, but I stayed with 512 for now. The next step up from 256. Both of us absorbed our clones back into ourselves and surveyed the area. Nothing but death. Tigress started an intense fire. She said many of the bodies would burn, and create fertilizer for the earth… and the ones that don't burn will feed the scavengers of the wilderness. I looked at the burning carcasses and thought that was the first time those trolls and orcs would ever be useful to anyone. I was looking at the flames when I woke.
    6. #100. Conferences (for Assassins)

by , 07-06-2010 at 06:50 AM (Things to Run Away From Really Fast)
      06/16/2010

The problem with world-class assassins is that everyone wants to kill each other.

An old woman hums tunelessly, pushing her squeaking cart along the grey-flecked tiles. Her nails tap tap tap against the stainless steel handle, along with a beat only she can hear. She slows the cart down, the wheels shrieking their protest, and smiles at the young man behind the desk, pointing to the ID clipped to her shoulder. He glances up, looking bored, and barely glances at the ID before waving her along.

The hospital room is single-occupancy, dim and empty except for the bedridden patient. He wakes up from a doze, looks at the woman in scrubs as she enters the room. She slides a platter off of the food cart and slides it onto the tray sitting across his bed.

"How are you feeling, Mr. Burke?" The woman smiles.

"Horrible," he manages, glancing up blearily as she injects something into his IV. "Anything good to eat?"

"Of course, dear. There's tuna sandwiches, if you like those."

He perks up a bit, and nibbles at the sandwich. It's decent for hospital food, he decides. He'll be glad to get back to his normal life, with four-course dinners and world-class chefs.

The woman is still there when he finishes the sandwich. "That was actually pretty good," he tells her.

"Well, it is my own special recipe."

His mouth is dry, and he can feel his heart beating faster. Burke frowns. He's sweating. "Excuse me," he says, "But could you get a doctor? I think the symptoms are coming back."

The woman is unhooking the machines monitoring his vital status.

"Don't worry," she says. "It has nothing to do with your heart attack, Mr. Burke." She smiles kindly at him. "My special recipe is called Chalk Tuna. The compounds I've used in your sandwich are reacting with the drugs in your IV. It's untraceable, almost completely undetectable during an autopsy... rather brilliant, if I do say so myself."

Burke's fingers twitch. He wants to reach for the button, to call a nurse, call anyone, but he can't move. He tries to shout, but his mouth won't open, his voice won't work. An icy sensation begins to crawl in from his extremities, cold and burning at the same time.

"It's also a paralyzing substance," the woman muses, "and it's an incredibly painful way to die."

She smiles fondly down at the man seizing on the bed. "Have a nice day, Mr. Burke."

The cart begins its squeaking journey back to the elevator. Burke shuts his eyes and tries to scream.

      ---

Matilda has approximately four minutes to return the cart and exit the hospital. After that time, the real nurse will make her rounds and find Mr. Burke dead, the machines having shorted out due to faulty wiring. The doctors will attempt to resuscitate him, but the poison in his veins will prevent this from taking effect. There will be questions for the young man at the desk in front of the elevator, but Matilda plans to disappear long before any suspicion can fall on her.

Without a suspect or a murder weapon, the incident will be written off as a simple heart attack, and Mr. Burke's son will inherit his company.

Stepping out into the sunlight of the alley, Mathilda allows herself a moment to bask in the enjoyment of a job well done. She feels a shift in the air, a chill, and a blade burrowing into her skull.

I sheathe the wrist-blade and let the body fall, watching impassively as the infamous assassin kicks up dust on the dry ground. She twitches slightly, extending a hand in a clawing motion before going still.

I leave the body where it is. There's sure to be a complicated frame-up job involving several people who want to take power, but I've done my part. As long as Matilda is dead, I can get out of here and -

I'm throwing myself to the side. A line of throwing knives hit the brick behind me. I take cover, diving behind a dumpster, throwing a fireball in the direction of my attacker.

He's on the roof across from me, I reason. I came down from the hospital fire escape, but he was hidden by shadows - damn! I don't have an escape route, and we need to get out of here before they start looking for Burke's killer. Unfortunately, the owner of those throwing knives is not someone to be reasoned with.

"Simon?" I shout, stepping out from my hiding place. He's on the roof. "I didn't know you were in town."

"Everyone's in town, Sam!" That's Simon, all right. He looks giddy, sounds like he's on a sugar high. The man's more of a sociopath than I am. "Haven't you heard?"

"Yes." Goddamned council didn't even ask before invading my city.

"And you got Matilda first! I've been wanting to take her down for ages."

      "Creepy?" I ask.

      "Creepy." He confirms.

My fingers twitch, ready to call up another fireball. Simon tracks the movement, and I change my mind. "Simon," I say, "Would you like to play a game?"

His face splits into a grin. "First to a hundred?" He asks.

"I was thinking the whole conference."

Simon laughs. "I like the way you think," his smile widens even further. "Shame I'm gonna have to kill you."

He lifts up a hand and I'm running before he presses the button. I round the corner and the alley explodes.

      I love my job.

      ---

I'm on top of a mountain, looking down on the valley. The city is sprawled out below. I take a breath, feel the cool mountain breeze drifting through my lair.

Some days, it pays to be evil.

I turn around to where my mom and dad are sitting at a stone table, looking around and seeming confused. My brother is there, too, but he just looks hungover.

I go to sit across from them at the table. My mom's eyes narrow as she gets her bearings, and I can feel her light-based aura sparking unpleasantly. I try not to flinch.

"It's in our best interests," I say carefully, "to wipe out all of the assassins as quickly as possible. They'll be gathering at the convention centre. Now, we can't all go in -"

"Why is that, exactly?" my mom snaps.

I roll my eyes. "You're a Reader. They'll spot Your Holiness from a mile away."

"How exactly did you get into this mess?" asks my dad.

I paint a look of surprise onto my face. "You mean you don't know?" I ask incredulously. "Our family - your side of the family - have been Assassins going back hundreds of years! Well," I trail off, "The last one was in the sixteenth century." Good times, as I recall. Reincarnation can be so much fun.

My mom's aura is sparking angrily. I try to ignore it.

"Look, we need to wipe as many people out in one swoop as we can." I have a thought.

"Mom... isn't your cousin doing the catering?" I ask.

She looks at me suspiciously. "He is. Why?"

I let a smile form. "Have you ever heard of Chalk Tuna?"

      Conferences. Scare Factor: 4.

So ends the 100th post special edition of Things to Run Away From Really Fast! I've been meaning to write this up for ages...

The only thing I can remember from last night's dream is that I had an extra pair of running shoes. They were orange.

      by , 07-06-2010 at 03:32 AM (LiveInTheDream's DJ v2.5)
I won't spend a lot of time on the first part of the dream, as it was pretty unimportant.

Basically what happened was that several DC's were introduced into the story, but other than that, the beginning served no real purpose. I just went around with my friend (who I will call John) and did stuff pretty much like we'd do IRL.

Where the important part begins is when we decided to stop by QuickTrip for something to drink. We were on our way in, when I saw a girl (whom I care about very much IRL, and will refer to as Jane) walking to her car further down the parking lot (it was a huge lot, nevermind we were just at a gas station). My mind raced.

“Jane!” I thought. (Well, actually, I thought of her real name, but in case she happens to read this somehow, I'd rather not list it here). “Oh, she's too far away to hear me...I can't stop her to talk...if only I could run up to her and...”

Then the non-reality of it all suddenly began to hit me. Just in time, I figured out that it was all just
      a dream!

“...wait, then. I can run after her!”

So that's exactly what I did. I abandoned John and forgot my drink so that it ceased to exist and I ran as fast as I could (which was pretty fast, being lucid). I was so eager not to miss Jane that I accidentally got to her truck even before she did. So I just waited there a moment.

When Jane caught up, she seemed a bit surprised to see me there, but made no comment about my super-human speed.

      “What are you doing here?”

I hadn't actually planned on answering a question like that, so for a moment no words came to me. I knew I couldn't tell her the truth that I was dreaming, though.

“Oh...” I began, desperately fumbling for a way to put a positive spin on the situation. “Just...thought I'd open the door for you! Yeah...that's it.”

I reached back and opened the door. Jane just stood there a moment and stared. Not fully sure what she was thinking, but I got the idea that she just didn't know how to respond to me going so far out of my way to do something nice for her.

      “Oh. Well...thanks,” said she.

Then Jane started to get in, and I realized she was going to try to leave. This was a lucid dream! I couldn't let her go like that.

      “Uh, Jane?”

“Yeah?” She hesitated on the step of her truck.

      "Come here."

I reached over and wrapped my arms around her, picking her up off the truck and setting her back down on to the ground. She half-tried to resist at first, gently pushing back, but it was only because she was worried about the time.

      “I don't have time...I need to go.”

“Need to go?” I replied. “There's nowhere you need to be more than here.”

She smiled, and then put her arms around me as well, and leaned her head up against me. I remember thinking she seemed somewhat shorter in the dream than in real life, or I was taller, but whatever. I didn't let that bother me. What mattered was that Jane was there, and I was holding her in my arms.

We stayed that way for a very long time. That was all I wanted. There was nothing else I needed to use my lucidity for more than that. She was totally worth it.

Eventually she insisted that she really had to go, and I had to let her, then. Even if she wasn't physically present, I care about her too much to not respect her wishes. But, she assured me we'd see each other again soon and that we'd spend more time together.

Then, an interesting thing happened. The girl from a few previous flying dreams (who is also from real life and will be referred to as Janet) came up to me and I could see in her eye that she remembered all of our flying times together. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Jane watching to see what would happen. In Jane's presence, I reached out and hugged Janet, but not very closely and for a very brief time, as if to declare who I truly loved, and who was just a good friend.

After that, Jane smiled and left,
I lost lucidity, and the dream went to a weird thing where John had turned into this huge blob. At first all I could see was his head sticking out of the covers on his bed. Then, suddenly, the covers flew back, revealing that the rest of his body was just hundreds of pounds of blubber--no bones, no muscles. He wobbled out of bed and across the floor, and I could see little protrusions that served as 'arms' and 'legs', but they also had no bones, and there were no hands or feet, so they would have been useless anyway. Then he suddenly jumped into the air and twirled around, which caused physics to stretch him out and flatten a bit. John landed on the floor and turned into a rug, and then the dream ended.

I swear I wasn't on drugs...but that last bit was REALLY weird.

    8. 07/04/10 Vegeta's New Student

by , 07-06-2010 at 02:12 AM (New Dream Adventures of Raven Knight)
Note: I downloaded a new sound file, Yoga Nidra, which is a meditation track meant to aid in lucid dreaming. I used it for the first time tonight to aid in getting into my WILD. My goals tonight included doing the TotM by multiplying myself, and also some training. I have been feeling like I need to train due to having lost a fight to another DV member way too easily… and I also want alternative abilities that aren't power based in case I get attacked by Templars again and my powers don't work. So with those goals in mind, I used the new meditation sound along with my light / sound machine and slipped into a WILD…

I was in a green meadow near a house. I recognized the place as the house where Vegeta and Serena live. I walked towards the house. I saw Vegeta was off to the right. He came over to meet me. He asked if I was finally ready to accept training. He said that a fighter who will only train themselves has a fool for a student. He said he knew this for a fact because he used to be like that, and it was only when he started accepting help from others that he was able to boost his power level to what it is now. He powered up, creating a bright field of energy around him. It was a powerful energy field, and yet I knew that this energy was a mere fraction of his true power… and a small fraction at that. To prove that fact, Vegeta powered up a bit more. His energy field was casting a bluish white glow over the meadow. I still knew that what I was seeing was still a small fraction of Vegeta's true power.

Vegeta paused, and then he continued. . He looked me over as if sizing me up. He nodded a couple of times. He said he didn't see why I would have a problem with my skills and power level, but if I did and wanted to do something about it, it was time to train, and he was the one to train me He said that he has already seen I have a good power level and good skills in battle. He said the first thing I should work on is my speed. After all, an opponent who cannot hit you cannot defeat you. And after making your opponent miss is a good time to move around for a counter attack before the opponent even knows what hit them. He asked if I was ready for some serious training. Only serious training produces serious results. He asked if I was ready to commit to this… I said I would do my best. He said that's not good enough. I have to be committed to the training, coming in dreams w henever I get the chance, training when on my own… There is no, "I'll do my best," there is only "Yes, I will succeed!" or "No." If the answer is no, we are done. If yes, let's get started. I said yes. He insisted I say, "Yes, I will succeed!" and put confidence into it. Saying that made me believe I could do it.

So Vegeta and I started training. He told me to block all of his punches. He came over to me and did a Kachu Tenshin Amaguuriken as done by Ranma Saotome on the anime / manga Ranma 1/2. I blocked a couple of the punches, but Vegeta was as fast as lightning… I didn't block nearly all of them.

When that round was over, Vegeta looked at me again and said speed is definitely a place where I need improvement. He said to follow him and we would train for speed in the same manner Ranma Saotome trained… So Vegeta set up several different scenarios. The first one was right off of the Ranma 1/2 series… catching a number of fish from a tank and moving them to another tank… and the fish were piranha…

and the goal was to do it fast enough not to be bitten. The second task was also off of Ranma 1/2… the goal was to pluck a number of chestnuts out of a blazing fire without getting burned.

Then he came up with a few ideas of his own. A bunch of small flying drones in a swarm around me, they were basically drone bees. He said to grab them all out of the air, get them fast enough that I don't get stung. He said this exercise would require both speed and accuracy. Then there was the maze… a path of twists and turns with obstacles that would pop up at the last moment… and the goal was to speed through the maze as fast as possible without hitting any of the obstacles or the walls. He said that was for speed and reaction time. And don't start thinking the obstacles would be in the same place each time, because they wouldn't. It is necessary to expect the unexpected and be ready to act accordingly. His last one was a combination of the other two of his… fly through the maze and pluck the drones out of the air as I went. The goal was to capture all the drones and complete the course without hitting obstacles or walls. He added that just in case it needed to be said, I was to do all of these tasks without relying on my powers… except for in the maze, where I could use flight.

So I started working on those tasks. He had me starting on the piranha and chestnuts ones. I had done it for a short while when I felt the dream slipping. I said I would dilate time. He said not to. He said he would take care of the time dilation, I should focus on my exercises. So I continued. The dream stabilized. Vegeta continued watching me do the tasks, occasionally intervening to give me advice on picking up my speed. It seemed like I was training like that for a long time, and I could clearly see improvement even after that short time of training. Vegeta also said he had noticed a definite increase in my speed. He said if I kept that speed up for the beginning of our next session, the fish and the chestnuts were too easy for me… time to move on to the drones, then the maze, then both. And this time when everything faded, I woke.

Note: It felt like I had been in the dream state for a very long time. I am not good at judging how long, but several hours at least. When I woke up, I looked at my clock and saw I had only been asleep for an hour. Vegeta sure knows his time dilation!

    9. My First Lucid Dream

      by , 07-05-2010 at 08:48 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)
I am so very excited to share this!
But anyways, there was also a small dream before it, and I will share that too.

      July 3-4, 2010.

I'm not sure if this one I was lucid or not, but I don't think that I was lucid.

My cousin, her friend and I came to a place with a lot of food, and I think we were supposed to feed someone. Later on, my cuz and her friend got into a fight about something stupid. I shouted, "Don't do this! You guys are supposed to be friends." My cousin's "friend" came up to me and siad, "Fine then." She put her arm around me. "let's be friends." She added. I can't remember what happpened, but they had to leave. My cousin hung her bracelet on some lady's necklace. "Remember." She said. Waved, then walked out. I somehow appeared in their car; it was littered with all sorts of junk.

      My First Lucid Dream:

(Some things in here were not mentioned, for the dream was so long)

I was sitting on the ground outside my house. I was unaware of where I was. I guess I remembered that I was at my dad's house, not my mom's. So just to be sure, I thought it was a dream, I pinched my nose, and breathed in. I'm dreaming! It was the most amazing feeling. I did a couple more, then pinched myself. I didn't feel anything!

Unlike some first LD's, mine did not end. I got excited, but I remembered to calm down. I had so many thoughts swirling around in my head of what to do next. So I just decided to walk around and examine my dreamscape. I walked to where the garage was supposed to be, but it wasn't there. There was a LOT of weird looking animals, I can't exactly explain that scene. I tried to fly; first by jumping up and flapping my arms. I went up in the air for a minute, then fell back down. I tried again, but to no avail. I just stood there for a second and watched a human bird thing pass by. I walked away and went through the front door of "my house".

Inside looked like a giant attic. It had like a brown theme to it. My mom, sister, and brother was there. I told my sister, "Guess what! I'm dreaming." She didn't really believe me. So I said, "You know you're asleep, right?" She was like, "Really?" She was just kinda sitting there in a daze. So I talked to my mother and told her that this was a dream. She wasn't very surprised though. She said something like, "Oh that's great honey."

I forgot to stabilize, so I rubbed my hands together but nothing really changed. Then I wanted to run away so I could shout "clarity now!" out loud. But I just stayed where I was and said it in my mind. After that, lines of vividness and color splashed across the dream scape. It was amazing.

Then I stepped outside. The sky was so amazingly beautiful, it was indescribable. The country of the USA was outlined in red (what was really ironic was that the 4th of July was the next day) in the sky. The sun was behind it too so that it was shining in rays. The clouds were amazing as well. All of a sudden; the world just tilted or the gravity tilted slantwards, like that new movie which I can't remember the name of. I ran inside, and everyone was wondering what was going on. Then, my brother wanted to go fishing. We "clicked" on the door Sims style and pressed "fish all week". Then we popped up in a small brown cabin. All of a sudden, the dream switched to...

I don't know how I got there, but I was still lucid. I wanted to try telekinesis. So I ran up to a girl, focused really hard, then she started floating. Then she was thrown into a pool. Then I woke up.

I really found that dream ironic; for the 4th of July feel.
I hope I have more LDs to come.

    10. 06/18/10 Bridesmaid's Dress

      by , 07-05-2010 at 08:13 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)
I was in my school for some reason. This is all I could remember:

I must have been getting ready for a wedding or something. I was called out of class and into the hallway. I had to wait there for a few minutes with this girl. A lady came and gave me my clothes, and she led me down the hall. I think I was in this office or something, then she led me outside.

She took me to this weird little cottage. Once I got in, there were 1, 2, or 3 ladies standing there. They were going to help me with my hair and makeup. I was fumbling around for some reason, like I wasn't thinking straight. I put the wrong shoes on my foot and before I put my stockings on. I forget what happened, but I was alone in the cottage. They probably had to go to a staff meeting. Once I got mostly dressed, I realized that I forgot my dress.

So I sneaked back into the school and looked in the bathroom and office for my dress. I got it, ran back out to the cottage, and managed to put it on. While I was doing this, the same girl (also a bridesmaid) came in with her stuff. She said hello and I said hi back. After she got dressed, she took interest in a walkie-talkie/radio in the back of the room. (apparently the other walkie-talkie was in the staff meeting room) I said, "Please don't do this, we might get in trouble." But she did anyway. She flipped the switch, and we heard some static. Then someone said, "Hello? Who is this?" So we shut it off really quickly and started freaking out. So we pretended to act casual. A man had come into the cottage and said, "You aren't supposed to be in here!" but the other girl replied, "We're dressing." The guy said sorry, then left. A few minutes later I woke up.

    11. 06/10/10 Kidnapped Again?, The Mysterious Luxurious Ship

      by , 07-05-2010 at 08:11 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)
Finally, my dry spell is over! Last night, before bed, I drank a glass of apple juice. Also in a WBTB, I drank more apple juice. The AJ finally solved my problems!
      Here are the results:

      ~Kidnapped Again?~
I dreamt that I was at my house. My little brother was on our trampoline, and this man walked up, so he got off and walked around casually. We were freaking out because the man got on our trampoline. He was wearing a firefighter jacket and he looked like he was in his 40's. Anyways, the guy started talking to my little brother. I could tell he was scared. So me and my 2 sisters started to sneak around the back of my house to hear what they said. Since the guy was creepy, we motioned for my brother to come in. He said, "I have to go now." And the man said okay, but he was still on our trampoline. So we all came back in the house. Then somebody knocked on our door, we opened it, and two guys that were husbands of the bridesmaids from a previous wedding we attended, came in with 6 women following behind. They came and talked to us, and they were smiling. Then I woke up.

      ~The Mysterious Luxurious Ship~
      This one has some fragments.
So I remember a part where my little brother T was caught on some string tied to a banister, which was up WAY high. He was crying so much, that he was getting sick on himself. My dad, mom, sister, and I were trying to get him untied. My dad said, "Let go of the string so you won't fall!" But then he started crying even more. So he let go of the string, and my dad held onto him, and pulled him back in. The he quietly gave a sigh of relief, "I love you daddy."
      Very touching.

      ---

This whole time we were in a humongous ship or building. I was running around with a girl who seemed to be my friend. We ran back to the bathrooms, and accidentally walked in to the President of the United State's private room! So we rushed out quickly, and came to some lounging place. It had like a giant coffee maker and an ice cream machine, and a whipped cream dispenser. It had tons of food out, like a buffet. So we looked for the bathrooms. There was a whole bathroom for PETS. We finally came to ours. I can't remember what it looked like.

      ---

At the last part of the dream, we heard this speaker person say over the loud speakers, "You have 1 minute." So my friend and I rushed to the bathroom, went and grabbed our families, and headed for the door. "5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Thank you. We hope you enjoyed your stay here." We were just at the door when I woke up.
(It was odd, because this dream wasn't similar to a lot of my others.)

    12. 05/05/10 Gone missing

      by , 07-05-2010 at 07:42 PM (Sydney's Nightly Adventures)
Well I think I appeared in this front yard of a house. It was my friend's house, but it wasn't actually her real house in real life. Anyways, I think I was looking for her. I walked in the front door; and, expecting to see her, she wasn't there. Nobody was there. The lights were dim, and it was a spooky setting. It felt like there was some kind of dark presence there. There were candles there, and it was stuffy.

But I guess I walked away, because now, I appeared in the front yard of MY house. Except, it wasn't my real house in real life. Well my mother was there, and she was cleaning. There were 6 girls on our trampoline outside. There was the really weird game contraption thing, like 7 feet tall and 8 feet wide. It was some kind of 3d baseball-golf game..But anyways, I think the girls were leaving somewhere with my mom, but I'm not sure where. While we were waiting, I went and played that weird machine, game thing. All I remember playing it was like I was in this big contraption trying to shoot golf balls or something. Anywho, for some reason I looked around and saw a helicopter flying over us. It landed halfway onto the road, with the nose touching the ground (a kind of awkward land, haha). And then all 24 of the 4th graders from my school poured out of the helicopter (it was strange, because the 4th graders were on an overnight field trip that night!). Oddly, I looked away, and all the kids and the helicopter were gone; with my mom's suburban in its place, waiting for me. Since the golf game was gone, I walked toward my mom's car.

But then, as I was walking, it was like my dream (or scenery) faded and then I appeared in some little kid's school. But it was like a courtyard (it was outside with doors lining the walls). I walked ahead and there were kids from ages 3-7, all sitting along the walls like they were carpooling or something. Once I got to the end of the courtyard, this kid; about 6, said something to me. Then he called me a name. Haha. I don't exactly remember what started the problem, but then as I walked back out of the school, all these little kids kept screaming and crying, not letting me go. Then I woke up shortly after reaching the end.

    13. Making Asain food and Mulan's "Reflection" song is heard.

      by , 07-05-2010 at 06:07 PM
I was making supper when music which litterally "haunts" my dreams started up. I asked my parents if they heard it but they said they didn't hear anything for some reason I am the only one who can always hear it. its the first part and second part of Mulan's "Reflection song" but take out the bride and put in "girlfriend". "I will never pass for the perfect girlfriend or the perfect daughter/Can it be/I not to meant to play this part?/Now I see if I was truly to be myself/ I would break my family's heart." " Some how I can not hide/who I am/ through I tried/When will my reflection show who I am inside?/When will my reflection show who I am inside"

Funny how I was making Asain food for supper in the dream. I think it was Thai Chicken Staty on top of rice and smoothered in a nice PB sauce and homemade Korean veggies (carrots, spinach, bean spouts, apsgrus). I feel a connection with all the Disney renassiance princesses. Ariel (TLM)-red hair, blue eyes and curious, Belle (B&the Beast) reading Jasmine (Aladdin) feeling "trapped" my life is mostly lived for me without severants and Mulan (Mulan movie) I want to move out but I don't want to break my parents feeling. Beside I am not really myself.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

"Come on!" She commands me, jumping down from the raised section of tiled flooring.

      Should I follow?

I hesitate, my lucidity flickering between states.

Running toward the large, open, squared archway she yells back, "Let's get out of here!"

      But that's not why I'm here. . .

She's treating me like a DC, and I'm playing along like an idiot. . . Not cool.

"That's not happening," I adamantly state, drawing my blade. Might as well have some fun with this, I think amusedly.

She looks back, notices my Katana, and visibly tenses up. I step forward a bit, and am thrilled to see her extend shiny, steel, wolverine-esque claws from between her knuckles. This might get interesting.

Cautiously approaching me, I can see her sizing me up, determining the best course of action. Maybe she'll multiply herself. That'd certainly make things more fun. Sure enough, what was no more than a passing thought, comes to be. She seems more surprised than myself, especially when the new copy proceeds to make yet another copy. This process repeats itself several times, and before I know it I'm facing down approximately 13 clawed adversaries. They attack as one.

One goes for my head, another for my gut, yet another for my legs, and the rest for any piece of me they think they can hit. Instinct takes over and I launch into the air, spinning quickly with my sword extended in one hand. A blue streak of energy follows my blade as I spin, higher and higher, five, ten, fifteen feet off the ground. Naturally, they miss their strikes, but I'd be a fool to think they aren't prepared with a follow up.

Dropping down, I bring my sword around swiftly on a copy to the right, while hook-kicking one to my left. I adjust my blade mid-strike to avoid the parry I read well in advance. Indeed, my Katana makes contact, but my kick is blocked rather aptly. Landing on one foot, I fluidly let myself drop even further, avoiding a flurry of jabs and swipes. After that, I bring my blade in wide rotational arc above my head, deflecting all the follow up slashes aiming to take me out. Then, still maintaining momentum from my spin, I turn about to my left, cutting down another copy, back-fisting one across the head, and kicking out the shins of one behind me. Unfortunately, this leaves me in a less than ideal defensive situation, and my adversaries pick up on that right away. Sharp steel comes at me from every angle, and there's nothing I can do to stop it.

So, I teleport away, taking a knee as I do. The excitement of the battle is taking its toll on my stability, so I decide to call it there and allow myself to awaken.

I'll give this one to you, Samael.

I smile as everything fades to white.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

The start of this dream is a bit fuzzy, I know that something was happening, but, I don't exactly know what.

Dream fuzziness, I remember a girl who I befriended at my house but that's it, I was thinking about how wierd this is, and the opposite thing of what ormally happens happened. Instead of my mind distracting me into thinking everything is real, whe I opened my door, the girl I befriended was bleeding out on my bed...I just thought, yep, this is a dream. She was screaming out "MA***, HELP ME!!!" Being the gentleman that I am, I waved my arm over her and she was completely fine, she hugged me, then I went outside my front yard.

I often end up outside my house when thinking of what to do when a ute with a tailgate came by, it was speeding by really fast and I thought I might try jump over it, but it stopped and tried to get out of my way. I followed it and then i'm pretty much chasing it around for a bit, it keeps avoiding me but then I eventually jump, miss, and grab the tailgate.

The ute starts speeding really fast, i'm struggling to stay on, the speed it was going was completely lifting me off the ground. As it's speeds along I try to pull myself onto the back of the ute, I make it so my hands stick to what they touch, I pulled myself up one bit and i'm a bit further along. I continued to struggle with this as the ute got faster, but I eventually got on the back, I stood up and grabbed onto the top of the ute. I see everything speeding by, it looks exactly like my town. I'm about to see if I can get on top of the actual vehecle part of the ute, but I first looked ahead to see if he was turning, he wasn't, so I clmbed on top and sat down, watching everything, but then he suddenly stopped later on and I went flying off, skidding along the ground, but it didn't hurt. I was at school...
