by , 11-08-2010 at 05:20 AM (MoSh's DJ: The Best Dream Journal in The Universe.)
      many just vague dreams.

      Walking

Just walking on a rocky place near a beach with people. Yup that's it.

      monkey

Just a dream about chasing a monkey for some reason. It went into some out door outhouse and disappeared in the large toilet. I was mad at it for disappearing.

      Blocked off bridge

I was in calgary walking up some steps leading to a bridge. but at the tope of the stpes there was concrete hanging over the top step and i couldn't get through. I wondered if it was a dream... but didn't check it and then I floated away.

    2. 11/6 Dild

      by , 11-08-2010 at 03:33 AM
I had my second DILD ever, first since joining DV. It was only a few seconds long and pretty hazy, but it was still a step. I was standing next to a parked blue sedan. I guess I RC'd into lucidity, but I don't remember. I notice things are hazy, so I try to use Mzzkc's Archetype control to get more clarity and control. I try and pull out a board with knobs labled 'Lucidity', 'Clarity', and 'Dream timer'. I decided that this board would be my archetype for master controls for LDing. I figured before hand that whenever I needed to, I'd pull out the board, and crank up the knobs to increase control, lucidity, and hopefully, dream time. Anyway, I tried to pull it out, only it didn't quite work. It was sort of like the board was ghostlike. I tried to turn the knobs anyway, but it didn't work. I ran to the corner of the parked car, and then lost the dream. It was really short, maybe 15 seconds, but it's a step anyway. I hope to get the archetype board working, so I have more control in LDs

    3. 11/02/10 Going on a Healing Spree

by , 11-08-2010 at 03:24 AM (New Dream Adventures of Raven Knight)
I am standing in my living room, and I am spontaneously lucid… either that or I had become lucid before and just have no memory of the dream there. I look around, not sure what I am going to do. I try to think of goals I have, I remember I have one goal with MoSh, it is a goal to view a psychic reading he got a while back. I am not sure if this will work, but both MoSh and I figure it's worth a shot. I am about to focus on a portal to MoSh's inner world when the television comes on by itself. I go over to the TV and see it has a live video feed of MoSh's inner world house… wtf? Is there really a camera there or am I just seeing it because I want to go there? I use the television as a window… the television is a large flat screen, quite a bit larger than my waking life television… and I step through into MoSh's inner world.

I emerge in MoSh's inner world to find MoSh and Asuka in the living room, I don't notice what they are doing there, because I immediately get a feeling that they need to be healed… both of them. I wonder where that feeling came from, but I figure there's no need to question it much. If I heal them when they weren't really needing it, that's not going to hurt anything. So I go into the living room, which surprises them a bit, and I focus on using the song Voices on them, a general healing spell since I am not sure why I feel the need to heal them at all. When I am done, MoSh looks at me, he looks confused, and he asked what that had been about. I say I had a feeling about it. MoSh says ok, so now can we go view his psychic reading? I am about to say yes when I get a strong feeling that Kaomea needs healing… due to difficulties between MoSh and Kaomea, I simply tell him I have to go but I'll be back if I can. He tries to tell me to wait a minute, I open a portal to Kaomea and go through it.

I emerge from the portal in a fairly normal looking neighborhood and I look around. I was searching for Kaomea, so I figure she must be somewhere in the area. I walk for a bit, getting anxious and uneasy, I have the idea I need to hurry, and finally I spot her near a café. I walk over to her and she starts talking to me as if she knows me, but not as if she knows who I am. It's like she thinks I'm someone else. Well, that doesn't matter any. I focus on the song Voices again, sending light energy through Kaomea. She seems a bit surprised at that, and responds by giving me a hug… She says it's been nice talking to me… ok… whoever she thinks I am… I now have the feeling I need to hurry up and heal Walms… um… why do I need to heal Walms? That's not normal for him to need healing… But even though I am questioning the feeling, it does not go away or even weaken slightly, so I move a good distance away from Kaomea. I open a portal to the moon, to the biodome and go through it, closing it quickly behind me. I wanted to get to Walms quickly, I didn't want Kaomea following me. I look around the biodome and see a man with dark hair, a black shirt, dark eyes that are almost black, tanned skin, those eyes are beautiful, and he looks somewhat muscular… but I don't take the time to investigate him. I scan and see no sign of Kaomea. So now I teleport outside of the biodome where I open a portal to find Walms.

I exit this portal in what looks like a school of some kind. I look around one more time, scanning the area, I want to be absolutely certain Kaomea didn't follow me… I am feeling paranoid about that idea right now… and I see no sign of her. Good. I look around the place for Walms. I wander around the school for a short time and then exit there into a green field that looks like the athletic field. I spot Walms there, I'm not sure what he is doing, it doesn't look like he is doing much of anything. I go over to Walms, Walms notices me, though I am not sure how to explain the certainty I feel that he needs a healing spell when it looks like he is feeling fine. I try to explain myself to Walms, and he is answering me, talking to me like he knows me, but like with Kaomea, it seems like he doesn't see me for who I really am. I think I don't have time to figure this out, and I hope he won't mind using a healing spell… I focus on the song Voices again, though this time the energy it formed was adapted to match Walms' energy rather than the usual golden energy. He didn't really respond other than to give me a puzzled look. I think maybe I can relax now that I have healed Walms, but no… I barely have time to take a deep breath before the certainty is upon me that Nomad needs healing. Wtf? Do I have to go and heal everyone we know? Do they really need healing, or am I being something along the lines of obsessive compulsive? I don't know, but I feel I have to follow the feeling to heal. I open a portal while focusing on finding Nomad.

I exit the portal in another place, I don't recognize it at first, then I decide it is just because I have been jumping around so much… Because I have the idea I ought to recognize the place, I am just getting so confused. I look around to find Nomad, he's why I'm there after all. I follow my instinct through some trees and into a green meadow where I find Nomad, I am not sure what he is doing, and I don't even take the time to say 'hi' because even though I haven't finished healing Nomad yet, I am getting the feeling that Tigress needs healing right away… So I use Voices on Nomad, it is hard to focus because I am wanting to leave so fast, but I manage to do it and the spell works properly. Nomad says something to me, but I don't pay any attention, I open a portal to go find Tigress.

I exit a portal into a different place, but I immediately know Tigress isn't there. Where is she, then? I try the portal again, but this time the portal doesn't want to open at all. I am getting to a point near panic, thinking I have to find her, it's urgent… I focus on opening the portal yet again, still nothing. Another feeling is merging with the feeling I have to heal Tigress… I have to heal Pablo! But I haven't even found Tigress yet! I have to find Tigress before I can go heal Pablo, Tigress is first… I have to find Tigress… I open a portal, not able to clearly focus on either Tigress or Pablo, and I go through it.

I am now in a forest, I am not sure where I am or who I should be looking for, so I call out to both of them, "PABLO!!! TIGRESS!!!" I don't get a response, or at least not right away. I look around a bit more to try to find them, when something is moving and it comes over to me. That something is a cute fox, I guess I found Pablo, which isn't entirely a relief since I have yet to find Tigress… Pablo is a fox, and he is looking at me strangely. I use the song Voices on Pablo, I somehow manage to make the song spell work… Now I have to find Tigress. I hear a voice behind me, it is Pablo, he is now in his form that looks like Fox McCloud, and he has a hand on my shoulder, he says to calm down, what is going on? I don't want to take the time for this, I tell him I have to heal Tigress. I focus on a portal, but nothing happens. Damn! Damn! Damn! I have to find her now! I sit by a large tree and try to think how I can find her. The next thing I know there is a fox pushing his nose up onto my lap, I don't object to that, I can still keep thinking. The fox begins to purr softly… and purr… and purr… the sound is soothing, like the sound of a cat's purr, maybe I can focus better on getting back to Tigress. Pablo purrs… and purrs… I have come up with nothing, but I feel a lot calmer. Pablo continues to purr… and purr… and then I wake up.

      Quiz, Annoyed
0732: I am in high school. We are on a field trip? We are taking a quiz and the teacher is being very strict to avoid cheating. No talking. No borrowing paper or pencils. But sure enough, when the quiz begins, some idiots ask me for paper. I get up and move my seat away. This happens 2-3 times. After the teacher is to guy to collect all the tests. ... people been scattered around or not listening. I am so upset at all this dumbshits.

      Non-dream Dream Lucid-Dream

I went for a nap 3 hours ago and had like 7 lucid dreams. But most of them I couldn't do anything. Here's the best one: I wake up in my room, paralyzed. I realize that if I wiggle my fingers around, Ill get the rest of my body. I sit up. And there is a ton of stuff on the floor like clothes and trash. My vision is extremely blurred. I think to myself "well this isn't right, Im in a dream!" I walk out into my living room and everything is dull colors. Almost black and white. Shades of gray. I walk to my front glass door. I look outside. Its full of color. I hear rain. As soon as I step outside everything got extremely clear. With full and utter clarity. Theres a big rectangular pool outside with dark blue water. Theres palm trees around. Its raining. The place was filled with awesome tranquility. I jump into the pool. The water feels real. The water was warm. The sounds and the feeling felt completely real! I stood in the water looking around completely amazed. I wake up.

      "T-Minus: 3...2...1..."

I was with Todd, and we were at a theme park which was going to let us - among others - be some of the first passengers on a commercial shuttle flight into orbit. There were a few people waiting in line with us, whom I knew, but I can't exactly remember who they were. We sat around in line, for a while, just shooting the shit; watching people come back from the off-world trips that they'd taken, just minutes before ours.

When it was our turn, we rushed onto the vessel, to make sure we got our spots up front, taking out our cameras and beginning to snap pictures of the whole launch sequence. The ship taxied along the track for a while, taking us passed many different sites. We were watching other roller coasters zipping around, in the distance, gazing out over high mountain peaks - there was even an erupting volcano in the background. We took a ridiculous amount of pictures, and I was just getting really anxious, waiting for us to get to the end of the track, where the launch pad was. Just as we were able to see the launch pad coming into view, though, I ended up waking up.

    7. 10/20/2010 - "Queen of Heartless", "Fetch"

by , 11-08-2010 at 01:39 AM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)
      10/20/2010
      Dream One:
      "Queen of Heartless"

The first thing I remember, was flying to Paris. There was an older man with me, and I believe he was a scientist, but I'm not exactly sure of his role. We'd gotten off of whatever flying vehicle we were in (I don't believe it was a plane.), and had begun sight-seeing; making our way up to the top of a building, and looking out over the Parisian streets. It was at this time, that I spontaneously became lucid. Instinctively, I looked at my hands to ground myself into the dream, but the dream immediately unravelled, and everything went black. I kept trying to keep myself in the dream, but it would only flicker into sight, a few times, and then disappear again.

(I don't know if I woke up, or just finally slipped back into the dream. It seemed like such a continuation of the dream, though, that I will count the following as the same one.)

I was back in Paris, no longer lucid. Todd was with me, this time, and we were just wandering around the city, exploring different places. We'd found ourselves inside a house, and trying to get up the stairway, to the second floor. The staircase began crumbling under our feet. Todd had made it up, first, and the stairway completely gave way, while I was making my way up. I ended up having to hang from the damaged banister, and use my arms to pull myself up higher and higher - gaining a bit of assistance from Todd, upon the last few feet - until I was able to pull myself up onto the second floor.

Searching these upper hallways, we came across a person, lying on the ground as if she'd simply fallen asleep there. It was a little girl, probably no more than about 12 years old. Upon getting closer to the girl, and having a few words with her, we realized that she had been seriously abused, and was left out in the hallway after having been beaten. Apparently, her mother was the Queen of Hearts, and her father was just some insanely powerful creature (whom I never actually got to see, in the dream, but could feel his presence). The girl looked like she had just been beaten within a few inches of her life, and we told her we were going to get her out of there. We were barely able to get a few feet, when we were confronted by her mom, who chastised us for having the gall to try to take her daughter away from her. She began to exert her true power, and the whole building began shaking. We high-tailed it out of there, and she chased us into the streets, people everywhere, screaming and running away from the tremors she was causing.

It was about here that I regained my lucidity, and I remember stopping to confront the queen. We were standing on an elevated stone walkway or something, spotted with high bushes. During our altercation, she said something about my not knowing who I'm messing with, and she waved her hand, causing some white roses to bloom upon the bushes beside us. I told her that I wasn't the least bit impressed, because this was my dream, and I flicked my fingers at her white roses, making them turn red, as if I was finishing her work for her. This apparently pissed her off, to no end, and she attacked me with the biggest 'force' blast that she could muster. Quite confident in my control, at this point, I fired back, and we got into a sort of 'telekinetic pushing match,' until she just couldn't withstand anymore. She completely submitted, and Todd and I continued to usher the kid further away from her mother. She ended up catching up to us, one last time, just as we'd entered a tunnel-like hallway. She made her final stand, warning us not to take the kid anywhere. When she reared back to throw another spell our way, I used more telekinesis, mentally grabbing her by the head and slamming her into one of the nearby walls, knocking her out cold.

I decided to stay with the kid, leading her to some random room, which looked like a kid's play room,
and it was around here, when I lost lucidity again. We'd found a portal, inside the room, which was known to transport the kid to some far away place, where she wouldn't be abused by her parents anymore. The last thing I remember was a great feeling of accomplishment, knowing the kid was going to get away.

      Dream Two:
      "Fetch"

I don't really remember much of this one. What I know, is that I was flicking through the channels, on TV, and there were a bunch of horror movies on. I got to a movie that I recognized, which was Stephen King's: Silver Bullet, about a man who turns into a werewolf, and the wheelchair-bound kid who attempts to stop him. Soon, I was sucked inside the movie, becoming a character who had been driving in a truck at night. The werewolf had showed up and was about to tear me apart, when I ended up crashing the truck and we were both ejected. I picked myself up from the dusty, back road of a wooded area, and the first thing I did was break into a sprint, heading back to my truck. I could see that the Lycan had been thrown further than me, and it, too, was getting back up to its feet. I made it to the truck, staring out the wind shield at the werewolf, which was directly in front of me, watching it shake the cobwebs from its head and slowly begin stalking toward me.

I fumbled for the keys, but there were none. They weren't on me, and they weren't in the ignition. It was then, looking through the wind shield, that I saw them, sitting peacefully on the hood of the truck, as if they'd simply landed there, after the horrific crash. Wanting nothing less than to have to expose myself to this beast, which was stalking my way, I jumped out of the truck and ran around to the front, swiping the keys off of the hood and circling back inside the vehicle. The wolf now dropped into a run, closing in on me, while I threw the truck in reverse, spun it around in the sand, and sped away as fast as possible.

      "Dead in Sight"

There was a young girl, who claimed that she could see ghosts. No one believed her. During our (I'm not sure who all "our" consisted of, but I know I was with some group or team of people) meeting with the little girl, we seemed to have encountered some either invisible force or group hallucination. The little girl tried to convince us that it was nothing - playing it off as if she didn't know anything was going on, but I slowly began believing her story about the ghosts. Later, we'd had some sort of seance, where we gathered over some gel-based artifact. At first, I could see the apparition of an old man, coming to join us at the table. Then more and more spirits joined him. They seemed drawn to the artifact, so we held it out to them. The ghosts began touching it. Everything was so vivid that, when I would hold the artifact and raise it out, for a ghost to touch it, I could feel their fingers rubbing across mine - though all I could see if their bodies were soft, smoke-like trails of green and blue light, which highlighted their features.

    9. Lying smoking bitch from my childhood?

      by , 11-08-2010 at 12:06 AM
So I had this dream that I was waiting for the school bus, but it wasn't my usual stop. This girl from my childhood, Sarah, (we used to be friends but then she screamed at me over the phone) came up to me. She looked facially older and had a cigarette in her hand. I got really surprised and upset cause apparently I thought she was dead. I told her that and said that I saw it on a bathroom stall. Then an image came up of a bathroom stall with red lipstick on it and Sarah's name plus R.I.P. Then she laughed at me and told me not to believe everything I saw on bathroom stalls. I got embarrassed so I ran back home and ended up missing the bus.

    10. My Very First Official DILD

      by , 11-07-2010 at 10:48 PM
Okay, so after a night of partying and some Joose I fell asleep and the first thing I remember in my dream was being in school.
I was in my fourth period class and all of my classmates were present. I was standing by the front of the door, and everyone was obnoxiously loud and the teacher was not doing anything about it. My friend Erik was saying to me repeatedly, "You crashed your car? Nah uh, for real?" Literally over and over again. I put my head in my hands, and looked up for a second. That's when I said to myself, out loud,
"Wait a second, this isn't real. This is a dream, I can tell." then one of my classmates, Trevon contradicted me with,
"Nah uh, how do you figure this is a dream?"
"Because, I can do this." I replied with as I made an air conditioner that was about 3ft by 2ft fall from the ceiling and crush him and only him. Afterwards, everyone applauded me because he was, "The most annoying kid in the class." I could not agree more with that. Then I woke up.

      Fragment:

In this dream, I'd had a girlfriend who'd recently passed away. I spent the entire dream with my friends, and they were trying really hard to console me. I was pretty much lost, though, and hopelessly depressed. After the dream, I woke up with dried tears on my face.

    12. 10/12/2010 - "Grodd, Almighty"

by , 11-07-2010 at 10:36 PM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)
      10/12/2010
      "Grodd, Almighty"
Awesome Superman Lucid, last night. At first, I was with a man, woman and baby, walking through the woods. Somehow, on our journey, we ended up springing a trap. An array of monsters shot up out of the leafy blanket covering the ground, and started positioning themselves for attack. The man and woman, whom I was with, did some sort of quick transformation and became a duo of masked, Power Ranger-like warriors; battle suits and all. Along with the goons, there was this crazy, bladed weapon that shredded through the ground like a shark's fin through water - also, a "boss." That "boss" was Grodd; the Great Ape Genius villain who's known for taking on the Justice League (comics). He was dressed in this really shiny, metallic suit, that kind of made him look like Lord Zedd from the Power Rangers. The ground-blade thing came upon us, and the three of us sort of put up a collective block against it. A shower of sparks flew out in all directions, and we were all repelled by the force of the deflected attack...but it was deflected, which was the most important thing.

After the defensive manuever, I recognized myself to be no longer myself - but another incarnation of Superman. I guess it was just the fact that I used nothing but my own arms to block the weapon, which brought me to the notion that was superhuman. There was a massive fight that ensued (which I, unfortunately, don't really remember much of). I was in control of my actions, but not necessarily lucid yet. I remember that I kept looking around, cautiously, for anyone who might sneak up on me with Kryptonite. I was afraid that someone would get the drop on me, and I would be taken out of the fight, but it never happened. At one point, I remember flying down into the 'forest' floor, and then launching up and out of the ground, at another point on the battlefield, to try to get a very vantage point. It was around here, where the people I was fighting along side were kidnapped. They had simply vanished; baby and all. Somehow, I had tracked them out over a large body of water, which looked like the ocean. I found one of the men in the water, but let him be, now focused on just the exhiliration of flying. I can't remember exactly what tipped it off, but I became lucid, right around this time. While still over the water, I started toying with my flight speed, trying to see how much control I could get out of it. I began pushing up through the "gears," just going faster and faster, in increments, until the water and patches of ground became a blur beneath me.

After some time, I came upon a fortress, now back in the woods. It was an old, castle-like building with a giant statue, of what might have been a bird or something, outside. I came to find out that this was Grodd's base, and the woman and baby were inside. Without wasting any time, I just burst in through one of the thick, stone walls, as if it were made of legos, grabbed the mother and her baby, and zoomed back out of the building. Back outside, Grodd was there to meet us, still wearing his shiny, new suit. Motioning for the woman to get her kid and stand back, I rushed Grodd with everything I had. He was absolutely no match for me, this time. I stayed on the offensive and pretty much just pummeled him with my fists. After he was defeated, there was a loud rumbling, coming from the building. I couldn't tell what was happening, but something big was about to occur. I picked up the woman and child, and flew up to the roof of the fortress, setting them safely on top.

Flying back down to the front of the building, I saw the entire facade fall away. Before I knew it, I was staring down the barrel of an almost ridiculously large tank cannon, which I could have easily walked straight into, standing upright. The whirring sound, that I began to hear building, told me that I was only seconds from being fired upon, so I flew straight up into the air, just as the cannon exploded beneath me. A single shot blasted right below my feet. Immediately, I retaliated, flying back down toward the tank and swinging haymakers at it. The steel folded under my fists like tin foil, and I completely demolished the weapon, landing on the roof and ripping over the hatch. I reached in and grabbed the operator by his collar, pulling him up to me, telling him that I would "throw him into fucking space," if he ever tried something like that again. Even behind his goggles, I could see the fear in his face. He just shook and stammered, looking like he'd just shit himself. Lol.

I actually let him go, and he scurried off. I then met back up with the woman and her baby, and we began to walk back to where we'd been. The man she was with, was suddenly with us again, though I don't remember him having been around, during the battle. I knew, at this point, that I would be waking up, sometime soon, so I began trying to recall the events, from as early as I could. While I was going over them in my mind, some large creature flew into the forest and confronted us. It was kind like a bird, but breathed fire. I don't remember if it had feathers or leathery skin, but I know it was more bird than dragon. I was so intent on remembering the past events, that the dream began unraveling (I would guess that's because I was taking so much of my attention off of it?). The bird/dragon/thing craned its head toward me, still flapping its enormous wings, to keep itself hovering, in one spot. I knew I didn't want to get drawn into another scenario, because I might lose so much of what I'd retained, so just as the bird lurched forward and spit a wide plume of fire toward me, I completely let go of the dream and decided to wake myself up.

    13. Making pudding and singing a couple of lines from "Defying Gravity"

I had this dream: I was in the kitchen and I was banning a scausepan and some ingredients on the counter in the kitchen when dad came in and asked me "What are you doing?" I replied "I'm making pudding and I don't care what mom says." Than I sung two lines from "Defying Gravity". "I'm tired of playing by the rules of someone else's game."/"I'm through with accepting limits just 'cuz someone says they're so...but till I try, I'll never know"

    15. Babies and work I think? (last night)

by , 11-07-2010 at 08:11 PM (Somewhere Over The Rainbow)
I woke up this morning and remembered my dreams, and now, two hours later, I've almost completely forgotten.

I have a slight memory of a baby in my dreams. I think I was making a really big deal about how cute a baby was.

I think my dream also involved work again, because I'm pretty sure when I woke up I thought, "oh, that's the third night in a row I've dreamt about something work related. But for the life of me I can't remember a single thing about my dream last night having to do with work. I feel like some free writing could help trigger a memory:

My dream, work, coworkers, I dreamt about my mean coworker the other night, and my director and executive director and now last night I dreamt about.............work? coworkers? something that happened at work. Being mad at work? Work has been so boring lately. So frustrating. I'd rather be doing a million other things than working....work, work.....I woke up and thought, oh yeah! I dreamt about...................................

      Blah! >: (

Edit - just read an email from a gf of mine and that made me think she was in my dream last night. Can't remember anything though, but I feel like there's something....
