    1. November Transformation: Eat It!

      Synopsis: I eat my transformation, yep

      Eat It!
      I put my brand new shiny rain boots on and go for a walk, even though it aint raining. It's a beautiful day outside and for the first time ever, the neighborhood is actually alive. Kids are playing and the folks are bbq-ing.

      I meant to go home, but I was having so much fun walking I totally lost track of time, and next thing you know the sun is going down.

      In the back of my mind I can hear my mom lecturing me how dangerous it is for a female to be walking all by herself in the dark. What could I do? I know! I'll transform!

      I become a gargoyle like being and run around suburbia with no aim or cause. My family are walking around in a public garden lit by way too many lights. I hide in the bushes from them because I don't want to go home yet. I'm having way too much fun!

      At some point I get this crazy idea that I should eat my transformation. So I grab my lion like tail, and eat it. Next I grab my wings, and eat them. Next I grab my clawed hand and eat that. Everything was very tasty and sweet. I had this idea if I consumed my transformation, transforming again would be easier.

      Once I was done eating my transformation I was back to my regular me. I rejoined my family and woke up.

    2. November Transformation: The Wild Cat Within

      November has been heavy with the theme of transformation, something I look forward to

      Synopsis: A race of cat people hold back their true nature. But a wild and amazing women teaches me how to unleash my inner cat.

      The Wild Cat Within
      I'm with my family (not my real family) in a high raise apartment. They're worried about this Witch that the news has been talking about. She has willfully transformed into her wild cat-self.

      It's against the law for the people to willfully transform into their wild cat-selves. One who has transformed is treated like a werewolf, a monster that needs to be stopped. Though truthfully, every citizen has the potential to transform at any moment.

      One day I was playing around with my natural ability to transform, growing a cat tail. My family scolded me, reminding me that its illegal, and dangerous because I could lose my sanity if I transform.

      A flash outside my window catches my attention. I run to my high raise window, and standing proudly in the full sun is the Witch. She's like a cat-were. Humanoid, with cat ears, fangs, claws, fur and tail. At first I'm scared "It's her! The Witch!". Besides the news warns she's probably insane and will kill you.

      Gracefully she leaps and climbs the building until she reaches my window. I'm surprised to hear her say -

      "Hello!"

      She can talk! The transformed lose their human mind and language. No wonder they call her Witch!

      "How can you speak while transformed?"

      She grabs my hand and leads me out the window. From then on I was her pupil. Though she didn't say much, her actions were enough to show me that she was completely conscious. More than conscious, she was lucid!

      She taught me that society was wrong for telling me to hide my wild cat side. That this is who we really are. She also explained to me, that when you willfully choose to transform, not only do you retain consciousness, but you become more conscious. More brave. More able. More stable.

      Oh crap, I'm falling! I'm hanging onto the ledge of the window with just my bare hands.

      "Use you're claws to lift yourself up!" She explains

      "That's impossible! I'm just a girl! I don't have that kind of upper body strength!"

      She shows me. She hangs from the window ledge to mimic me falling. Then using all her upper body strength and the traction of her claws, she lifts herself up, leaping into the air, and landing on the roof.

      At first I thought lifting myself out of the falling position was impossible. But after watching her I realized, she's a petite female just like me. If she can do it, why can't I?

      I lift myself up and like magic, I was flying into the air and landing on the roof.

      From then on, I was the Witch - fully transformed- teaching my pupil. Though the dream just becomes a chase-dream. The cops are after us for willfully transforming. Though to be honest, we found the chase amusing. Could they catch us? NEVER!

      They chase us into a tunnel. Where we find an abandoned car, whose keys were conveniently in the ignition for us.

      Once in the car, I switch positions again. I'm the pupil again. My Witch-Master races the car out of the tunnel and down the bridge. The cops are right behind us. My master is racing towards the ledge of the bridge, were gonna fall! But she's not stopping! Instead she floors the gas pedal.

      Some how I know she's teaching me to have no fear, as she was ever fearless.

      The car is flying off the bridge! I keep waiting for us to crash, but instead the velocity gently carries us over the prairie grass. No way the cops were crazy enough to follow us! We land softly. Having lost the cops, we take refuge under the shade of a tree. And I wake up.

      In the next brief dream I was lucid, and drooling over the comic books of the artist Anta M. Alabama. Not sure what that means.

    3. a couple lucids!

      Harry potter teleporting.

      A dream with lots of teleportation harry potter style. Not many details that I recall. Just remember going to several places.

      Weird

      The whole dream was a black and white hand animated dream. I was watching 3 dogs talk by a pond... Wish I remembered more of this one.

      Lucid 1

      Became lucid in my inner world house. I remember looking around it a lot looking for Asuka... She was nowhere. I ran into many people I didn't recognize.

      I was at some other house with Cailan? I was in a meeting room around a large table. Got bored and teleported through a window into some other room. I was now floating in the air... I wanted to shrink myself and tried too. But I only floated to the ground. Felt the dream destabilizing but I restored the dream... not quite sure how...

      Starfox?

      I was in a space ship and flying around on the starfox map from the snes version... I went into the wormhole box and entered a 3D starfox environment... lots of floating boxes in space?

      Lucid 2

      was back at the house walking around lucid. I went to one side of the house and saw some steps leading up. Found a bunch of people there but I didn't recognize them. I went downstairs and checked all the rooms... no one there either. I remembered there was another staircase on the other side of the house (My inner world house always is different every night and still I know my way around it perfectly in dreams).

      On my way there some guy knocked on the door. He was a stranger and started ranting about how his TV was screwed up. I told him to relax... that It was just a dream and we'll wake up soon with a fully working television. He looked confused but didn't argue with me. He said thanks. I said maybe this really is his reality... maybe not a dream for him at all. He just shrugged and walked away.

      I walked up the other set of stairs and saw a little girl entering a bathroom. I had to go too so i knocked on the door and told her to hurry up.

      Missing time

      I'm in her room beside the bathroom and talking to her. I know she's not Shawna so I ask her name. She starts listing all these names but I do hear "Chantaral" in one of them. I ask her if she knows where Asuka is?

      I'm leaving the girl's bedroom and see chantaral walking up the steps. She now has brown hair with a dyed blond streak in it. I aske her who was at the door. She said it was Cailan, and he seemed mad at me so she told him I wasn't here. I chuckled and said it'sprobly because I kissed his sister. (apperently he had a sister in this dream or something).

      I'm in Chantaral's room talking to her and i look and see at the door, my one ex gf chellsey is standing there giving me a weird look.

      I'm at the top of the steps again and chantaral is walking up them again? I say, "goodnight sweetie," she says, "yeah," and goes into her room.

    4. (11/22/10) - It's Working!!

      Yay! The RC's and totem and all that are working! Unfortunately, I had to get up early this morning, so I didn't get to write down all the dreams I had originally recalled, and it's late in the day now, so I only have tiny fragments left, but you can be sure I wrote down the most important one in full!

      When the dream began, I was at home, in my living room. The realism of the dream was high, so I didn't notice anything strange and never went lucid from observation. However, I did do a reality check out of habit, and the moment I pinched my nose and still felt the air go through, I came into the full realization that I was dreaming. I don't think I've ever been so incredibly aware before! For the first time in a lucid dream, I truly felt unlimited. Speed was not a factor; I could just as easily run around the world as I could across my backyard. My reactions were unbeatable...I could have won in a fight against Neo. Physics were also not a problem. I could bend or break the rules my mind would typically apply to the world without side effects.

      Now, in the past, I've struggled to use telekinesis on more than one object at a time. It just required focusing on too many things for it to work. But this time I felt confident I could do literally anything, so I stepped into the middle of the room, clenched my fists, and then imagined every object in the room lifting off the ground the more I drew my fists in closer towards me. As I looked around, I had succeeded. Regardless of weight or size, everything was lifted up. The 54-inch TV, couches, the dining table, chairs...even the oven! And it was no more work to suspend it all in the air than it was to breath. I could have held it there forever or cast it all out the window with a thought, or who knows what. Instead I just set it down gently, satisfied that I was truly unlimited, and it. Felt. Great.

      Sadly, though, I had breathed in through my nose for the RC just a bit too hard, and the dream began to collapse, then. Everything started to fade, and so I tried desperately to rub my hands and spin, but nothing I did could stop me from waking up.

      I tried to DEILD, then. I rolled over, silenced every thought that attempted to come into my mind, and passed out again.

      I found myself back in the previous dream, getting up off the living room floor, as if I had simply gone unconscious and now was waking back up...even though the exact opposite had truly happened. For a moment I had a grasp on the fact that I was dreaming, but very quickly this knowledge fled from me, and I walked off, thinking what an amazing lucid dream I'd just had...and then I woke up again, this time unable to go back to sleep so quickly.

      It may have been short, but it shows promise. I'm headed in the right direction again, and that was just after a few days of putting real effort into lucid dreaming again. Who knows where I'll be able to go after a few more days? If I can manage to be that unlimited in all my lucid dreams...heck, I could perform Inception for real

    5. Dream, Make the Light Work

      I became lucid almost immediately at the beginning of this dream, or at least at the beginning of what I can remember of this dream. I was in my house, near the front door. The lighting was rather poor, like someone had turned the dimmer switch down a lot. I suddenly had an epiphany that I was dreaming, and shouted, "yes!"

      I didn't have as much energy as my usual lucids, probably because I wasn't as aware as usual. Given the lucid/recall dryspell I'd been going through, that wasn't really much of a surprise. I plugged my nose quickly and tried to breathe; I could, so it confirmed the dream. I was about to walk out the door, but first I wanted to fix the lighting. I looked down at the floor - it was made up of big square pieces of medium brown hardwood, and there was no carpet like there should have been. "Dreams do tend to mess things up..." I said.

      I looked to the right, now standing almost directly in front of the door, and saw an arcing floor lamp. It was all silver, and had a circular marble-type base. The end of it was shaped like a half circle, which could swivel to direct light. The bulb, just a plain halogen bulb, wasn't on. I looked at it and commanded, "turn on."

      Nothing happened.

      I didn't want to spend the rest of the time trying to command the bulb to work, so I spoke directly to the dream. "Dream, make the light work."

      The bulb turned on in an instant. It didn't affect how bright the room itself was, but the bulb itself glowed just like a normal bulb.

    6. Flies in the Bedroom

      In this dream, I was in my bedroom at my father's house. My room is about 15x15 feet with cherry hardwood, beige walls, and dark wooden baseboards and trim. On the wall facing the outside of the house was a larger window with white trim. If you looked outside, you would see the backyard and a man-made lake. The white plastic blinds of the window were shut in the dream, so I couldn't see what was outside, but the room was almost exactly like it was in real life. Except for one thing - it was connected directly to an unknown room by a sliding wooden door.

      This door, at the onset of the dream, was almost fully closed. The room on the other side wasn't emanating any light (unlike my bedroom, which was lit dimly, like in most dreams), so I couldn't see anything past the door. I was a few feet away from the door at first, and then I walked closer, looking into the darkness. Then I heard a strange, high-pitched buzzing noise. A fly buzzed out of the opening and landed on my dresser, the only piece of furniture on that side of the room - it was made of horizontal, black wood, and was slightly longer than the actual thing, which was five feet across. It landed upside-down and didn't move. I walked towards the dresser, saying, "ew", and looked at it. I crouched down to get a better look, and realized that it was dead.

      I stood up and saw two more flies buzzing above my head, with no idea where they came from. But after a few moments, they flew away, into the dark room. The door was more open than it was before, almost halfway.

      This dream didn't have a creepy or disturbing feel to it, despite the content.

      Fragments: Walking Dead
      Zombie apocalypse, me hanging with my group of survivors. A girl comes to us. I don't know her, but I know her name and I know she wants me to come with her. I feel bad about abandoning my group, but this is my destiny.


      Fragments: Boat Plane
      My family are going to take a boat trip to stock an outdoor food stack, supposedly the best one. We also have a boat. We take off, boat and plane, me in the plane. A storm erupts from nowhere, winds battering the plane, and we have to turn back. I'm very disappointed.

      Had a dream where D was complaining to me about the economy, and there was a pecan tree near by, and it had some pecans on the ground that I was going to try to eat.

      Had another one where all these white bugs flew on my arms when I was looking around in this building.

    9. Fair Game

      It's late at night, and I'm in the back seat of a Jeep. Stephanie is driving, and all of a sudden, she just jumps out and runs off. The car is still coasting down the road, and I navigate to the front of it by navigating on the outside. When I get tot he front seat, I past by sets of cops, and theres a scene change.

      I was sitting down at a place wearing an orange football jersey with the number three on it. Some DC came up to me, and complimented it, and then shut it down in the same sentence. I started thinking about the jeep incident, and was telling myself that it's obvious that it was a dream because of the way the cops showed up out of no where. I started thinking about this scene change, and realized that I was still dreaming.

      I started walking and found myself in a carnival of sorts. There were tons of DC's and all of them were treating me like a superstar. I bumped into J and he seemed more like an actual person than a DC. He was just waiting on me to talk about how we're actually dreaming, and cut me short. We continued walking and I saw a guitar and played a riff on it for a second, and the sound just resonated everywhere for about 10 seconds, and I saw a drum set that I wan't to get on, but by the time I got there there was another DC on it.

      J started talking about how hungry he was, and I told him he should just think about eating something, or just wake up (really he seemed pretty sentient). We arrived at a table, and there was a cuban sandwich on it, and I said, "there you go". I told him that I would summon something, and turned around and thought about a hamburger. I could hear him in the background saying "oh man, it's there...whatever", like he knew I was showing off. I turned around and saw it in it's fast food wrapper. When I unrapped it, it turned out to be an empanada. I broke it open a little bit and saw that it had angel hair in there as well....and then of course, everything faded.

    10. The Green Moon

      Raven and I meet on the Moon. She has a funny machine... like a giant organic tractor? She says it's a monster machine. She is going to use it to terraform the moon.

      I say I am going to use green magic.

      I grow a tree in the soil of the moon, and grow its roots to dig for water. I plant five trees on the moon like this. I call them waterseekers.

      Streams and rivers grow across the moon... then a fungus grows... lichen... algae... bigger plants... one-celled organisms... plants... animals... birds... fish....

      We cover the entire moon with plants, and name it the Green Moon.

    11. Dream fragment

      I am in my dream world, at the temple thingy near which most of my dreams there take part. After having dreamed there several times I can now confirm that there is a school-like building near it. I remember being near to the temple (I have never been in it). I also was in the school. I remember going down the stairs to the seashore. It was quite stormy. When I went back up, I considered flying but decided not to.

      I really should've written up some key words when I woke up at 4.00 am but I was too tired. As usually, I also remembered two or three other dreams when I woke up, but forgot them during the day due to not writing any key words (as usually).

    12. Weird fragment

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID NIGHTLY ADVENTURE

      Good morning! Barely had any dreams at all last night, and I wasn't going to post here. But I figured the fragment I had was worth writing down. Plus I was talking in my sleep again. My girlfriend wrote it all down. Not sure if I will dream much tonight either, but on Tuesday, I'm having a "sleep night" which means 8+ hours of sleep. Will probably take some B6 then.

      11.00: Bedtime

      00.19: Sleeptalking
      *I sit up in bed, with my feet on the floor. "Babe... Where has it gone?" I ask. "What?" Monica replies. "You know, that wall which is supposed to protect against the end of the world" I say and gesture with my hands next to the bed. "Uhm... I don't know hehe". "You gotta find it and put it back!... Oh well, fuck my life, I'll only get 4 hours of sleep" I go back to sleep.

      05.15: Fragment
      *I'm watching this crazy car show. There's a pretty small arena which is shaped like a bowl. The cars are going around in the bowl, doing whatever. Some of them are even going up on the ceiling. The drivers are swinging around floorball sticks and they're screaming. When they're finished, a girl comes up to me and tells me it went great.

      05.15: Wake up

      Amount of sleep: 6 hours

      Food before bed: Nothing


      That's it! I've told Monica to write down anything I say or do during the night. This is the first time, and definitely not the last.

    13. WILD Journey: Day 7, 8, 9, and 10

      Didn't get to post because I was in Boston, but day 7 and 8 and 9 were failures. On day 7 my biological clock got all screwed up because I flew for 5 hours and there was a 3 hour time difference in Boston from LA. I fell asleep at 2am anyway, but the bed was too uncomfortable for me to be able to get any reasonable amount of sleep. I still set my alarm but my phone was set to vibrate and it didn't wake me up.

      The second night, day 8, I go woken up by the noise at 4 30 after going to bed around midnight. I went to the bathroom and came back to bed. I didn't have an FA or anything so I didn't manage to keep enough consciousness in order to facilitate the WILD. The bed was too uncomfortable, I couldn't remain in any one position and resist the temptation to roll over without thinking about it too much.

      Day 9 I went to sleep at 3am boston time and I didn't get very much sleep at all. I had to wake up at 10am so I had no interval to actually set my clock without totally screwing me over. I ended up not getting very much sleep anyway because the bed was so too stiff for my preference! I flew back to Dallas, my hometown, today though.

      Day 10, Finally! My first night sleep in a really comfortable mattress with amazingly soft pillows. I think the contrast really helped me to have a deep sleep that facilitated my WILD! I had my second lucid dream ever and multiple false awakenings! My dream recall was amazing tonight and I feel like I could have achieved lucidity multiple times had I not been exhausted from all the traveling and lack of sleep. My alarm woke me up at 5am after going to sleep at 11pm. This was perfect and led me to have 2 back to back false awakenings. Now I am super motivated to continue to work with my WILD technique all this week while I am back in Dallas!!

    14. I'm back, but not voluntarily

      So I have been out of lucid dreaming for a while. Mainly because I had to wake up so early every day, studying medicine is not something you can do in your spare time.
      The strangest thing happened to me yesterday
      It was 3 'o clock at night, I was extremely tired because I couldnt sleep. I was laying there, very still. I was thinking about general stuff, I was exhausted and ready to fall asleep. Sounds like the perfect recipe for a WILD, and that happened. The minute I felt my body vibrate I was thinking " No I dont want this, I stopped doing this forever" but my body wouldnt wake up. I felt hands pulling me up and I touched the ceiling
      I opened my eyes and I was floating in my room and I saw a girl with long black hair floating in front of me and I grabbed her hand. Immediatly I was pulled back on my bed. I was lucid, but I couldn't move. I felt bodies floating next to me and I tried to grab them but they were too fast. When I tried to get up I felt hands on my shoulder, neck and my hair. The only thing I was thinking of, was " How can I wake up, I have to wake up" I tried to pinch myself, but "they" wouldn't let me. After a big struggle with them I managed to poke myself in my eye ( that really hurts btw) and I woke up in the same position. I was hyperventilating and everything, it was really a nightmare

      Lucid dreaming was always very easy for me, sometimes I think to myself I should train myself I could do so much with this gift. But on the other hand I'm very scared that I 'm going to dream things like this

    15. Dream Journal: Lucid Dream #2!, Fragments, 2 FAs, WILD, TV Shows

      Dream 1-- DILD! *Dreamsign: HSfriend* Task of the Month

      YES!! I finally had my second lucid dream after trying to induce lucids for over a week now! I'm so psyched because even though I'm officially attempting to achieve lucidity through the WILD technique, I'm managing to recognize my dream signs while in the dream state! This is really encouraging because these dreamsigns recur so much, and are so common that if I can really start consistently seeing them as such then I should be lucid almost all the time! Also, I think it helped that I was thinking about the task of the month as a something to do after I became lucid because I completed it as soon as I became lucid!

      The dream starts off with me walking down this open field at night with no one around me. I am walking on grass, and I can see a bunch of stuff in the distance, but I have this feeling like I know exactly where I am going. I keep walking for about a minute and eventually find myself sitting on a porch with Dean, William and an old man. I look over at Dean and he is lying down on some stairs, and I think that's typical for Dean, who would normally come over to my house and just sleep on my couch.

      Will, the old man and I are talking about some important topic I can't specifically recall right now. Suddenly there is this loud noise to the right and it's this truck that is trying to back into it's logical space. It's making a lot of noise and it has to go through a long, drawn out procedure of getting through this tiny space in order to park. It pulls forward, and shifts positions and goes back. It's hard to explain but the entire process takes about 2 minutes to complete. After it's done I l walk over and see that the truck has compacted to the size of a normal car, and I think that is really weird how it all happened.

      When I go back to talk to Will, I recognize him as an HSfriend (friend from high school) and immediately I become lucid! I tell him that I am lucid and that I have full control over my dream and I can do whatever I want right now. He sits and just looks at me silently. I then tell him that I have always looked up to him and that I think he is really cool. He says "whoa." I don't know what else to say so I walk past him and find another of my high school friends, Sean. He walks up to me and says "I love you, man" and gives me a big hug. I say "I love you too dude, thank you." When we are hugging, I close my eyes and things go black, which causes me to start to lose lucidity. I remember that I can spin around, so I start to spin but my brain sort of comes back into my body and I can feel my body spinning in a dream while my body is remaining still on the bed. It feels really weird because I have the sensation that I'm spinning in the bed while I'm not moving at all.

      Dream 2-- PassObs Degrassi

      So I'm watching an episode of Degrassi, and everything seems to be going according to the Degrassi-esque drama, but I'm passobs the whole time. I'm just the camera watching all the action, and there is a line of thoughts that follow as the scene progresses. After about 30 seconds, the characters all change and the storyline becomes something really weird.

      In every episode of Degrassi there are usually multiple stories that progress in segments and the show will switch from one story to another constantly. In one of my stories, Abed from the show Community thinks that he is gay so he is going into a doctor's office to check. For most of my dream he is waiting in the waiting room looking around nervously. The last Abed scene, a doctor in the form of Chevy Chase (who is also in Community) comes out and tells Abed that his results are ready. There is a close up of his face looking worried, and then a far-away shot of him following the doctor through these two glass doors.

      In another story, there are these two people who are apparently cheating on their girlfriend/boyfriend with eachother. In one scene they are having sex and it looks like the scene from fight club where it's really blurry and slowed down. You can't really tell what's going on but you know they are having sex and one scene will kind of mold into the other. I see her totally naked and I have this thought like 'I don't think they can show boobs on this show' but that doesn't stop the dream. The boobs and the woman's body morph into the guys face and suddenly they are in a different sexual position. It's hard to explain, but I remember paying attention to how the bodies morphed and how her boobs became his nose. It was really interesting to watch and observe.

      In the last story, I was actually involved, but I can't remember it that well. I am running down a long corridor with black and white checkers on a marble floor beneath me. The corridor is rather narrow and I can see that it gets smaller up ahead. I am running and at first it doesn't seem like I'm making progress, but somehow I imagine that there are people in the opening, which makes me complete the journey really fast. I guess I took my mind off the corridor situation, which made it a non-issue. When I reach the opening there are HSfriends again, but I don't go lucid this time. We all talk for a while about a problem going on in the house we are in. It's really dramatic and we all have to search for something, but it's too blurry at this point.

      Dream Fragment 1-- BC Movie

      I just got home from Boston where I was watching the Yale/Harvard football game and visiting my friend at BU. While at BU I was thinking about how I went over to BC during my college tours and had to compare the two campuses.

      In my dream, I am walking on concrete in no specific path, but once again I have this feeling like I know where I am going. It's raining/drizzling but I don't have the feeling like I am getting wet or that I am cold at all. I walk into this building and there are students sitting in chairs facing a TV screen. Also, there is a woman who is standing behind a podium and looking out at all of us. she is obviously a representative for the college. All the kids sitting are watching a movie, and I decide to remain standing behind all of the chairs. I adopt a wide stance and I remember thinking about how wide my stance was and naming it "solid." I physically tried to avoid watching what was on the TV because I didn't want to get sucked in. This is what I do in real life now. I don't watch TV and I don't watch movies because they drag me into the PassObs state so well. I try to RC all the time now when I am typing up my dream journal because I will realize that I am not even paying attention to the noise of the keyboard or the feeling of sitting in the chair!!

      Suddenly, I am talking to H. Huffines because he was one person that I wanted to visit while at BU who I never got a chance to see. I was thinking about him in real life. His dad also talks to me, but I don't remember to go lucid. I can't remember the dialogue, but it was nothing special.

      False Awakening 1-- Pam offers me a Job

      My alarm clock goes off at 5am to remind me to WILD. I remember that I am supposed to WILD and so I remain still and fall back asleep. I have a False Awakening in my bed and I turn to my side to see my mom's friend Pam on my laptop with glasses on. She is looking through e-mails or something and starts talking to me without looking at me. She tells me about this job opportunity she has as an actor's apprentice. I would follow him around and do his dirty work and get him shows and all of this stuff. The whole time I'm in passobs just not really "there." I don't look around, I have a lot of thoughts just swarming through my mind and I don't say anything. I wake up.

      False Awakening 2-- Lawyer in my Den

      This dream is scattered and happens directly after the first false awakening. I am a lawyer and I'm representing this client who I think is disabled. I don't specifically remember the facts of the case or why I am trying it, but I do remember looking through this light blue notebook filled to the brim with papers with all sorts of legal words. It's just passage after passage of what the client is saying, what the law is and other arguments. I try to read over these very carefully, and I actually start to get a photographic memory of what all the contents are as I'm flipping through the book! At first, I'm reading this outside. I'm in a chair and I'm leaning back with the notebook in my lap. there are about 6-7 pages that I read front and back. This clues me in to the whole case and what is going on.

      Suddenly, without warning, I sit up and I am in this large comfy couch that we have in our downstairs den, which is a living room basically. I am talking to a client who is sitting in a chair at a table that is correctly placed in the layout of my den, and he isn't looking at me. He is looking to the left according to how I am looking at him, but it's straightforward for him. He is white, stocky, grey haired, and he looks rather sad, he had a light blue sweater on. We start talking about the case and I basically ask him a list of questions that I feel would apply to this case. The more questions I ask, however, the more I become passobs because I analyze the question I am asking, I analyze his answer, and I'm in my head about what to say or do next.

      First, we start talking about the complaint and the laws surrounding the issue. He tries to direct me to pages where he addressed certain concerns Im brining up, but as Iflip through the pages I realize that all of the text is blurry and jumbled (a new dreamsign) so I stop trying to look. I just converse with him directly about the issue and begin asking him surprisingly poignant questions that I had never heard myself ask before. Things like "Do you admire his situation? Would you trade your life for his?" After this question there was a long silence. I stopped to think about what I just said, and I was really analyzing his face to gauge his reaction. He didn't say anything and I prompted him to speak, but he, in a whispering voice, said "I don't know."

      Dream Fragment 2--

      I'm on a Balcony alone. I'm looking down at all the clothes I am wearing and find myself getting really self-critical. I realize that I haven't shaved in four or five days and I start thinking about how unattractive that must look, and how stupid I am for not just getting it done. I start taking off my pants and realize that I have three pairs of pants on. The outer layer is a blue pair of sweatpants that says "Harvard" down the left leg. Underneath these pants I have my gym shorts, which I wore to sleep tonight. And underneath that I have some under armour to keep me warm. Interestingly, this mocks the amount of pants I was wearing around for the past two days in order to stay warm in the 30 degree Boston weather.
