Dream 1:A Vampire Comes Knocking
I outside on a dark autumn evening, a large gravel field is to my right, a house in front of me. Eric, from True Blood, tries to get inside but can't since he wasn't invited in. He's now trapped between two doors leading to places he hasn't been invited. He just waits for the police to show up. Jail must suck if you live forever...
I walk out to the gravel field in the moonlight.

I go into the house. In the attic room I see my friend's two cats, the one that is big and the small one that is white.

Dream 2: In the Airport
I'm in an airport, I think it's a German one. It's overcast outside. I try to find my way to the plane I need to make, where is the gate? There is a large crowd. I see some people getting off of a plane, one is carrying a paper bag with Zen enso on it, he must have come from a convention. I wonder where it was, I'd like to go.

Turning around I see a busy friend of mine in the crowd.

I have a lot to do for the day and I'm just about to get out of the house when I get a call from my landlord. She is complaining about all of these things that I've done wrong and I don't understand her on the phone so I ask to meet her. She comes down with the neighbor and they are friendly but they start listing their complaints. One is that the house is not clean. The other I don't remember. Between their complaints they start talking about how they were doing drugs the night before. I say, "I'm sorry, but I have a busy day and I'd like to get this all done as soon as possible." They say okay and then tell me about the bed that I gave to them. It is damaged and they think it is my fault. I don't understand them at first. The wall in my room is falling down and it is because of the bed falling through. Many people are in my room and we are all arguing. The landlord's foul son is there, the man landlord is there, and Jul and Ore are there. I notice it's raining and rain is coming through the window. I close it but make a mistake in doing so. Immediately everyone gives me suggestions and then applaud me when I get it right. I get nasty and say sarcastically "Thanks everyone." Ore has a window open and a fan in the window blowing rain onto my bed. I say WTF?


I'm walking in a familiar scene. I've been there before in dreams. There is a river and mountains in the distance. I was bored with the landscape but then I thought that later I'll be climbing the mountains. I wanted to call my old friends Kyl. I couldn't find his phone number on my phone. I looked for him on facebook but he was not to be found. This dream sequence made me think of other dream sequences within my dream that had to do with Kyl.


I meet Kur my zen teacher in the bathroom of my work. I tell him something about my zen practice and he is happy and encouraging. It has to do with me and my fear of death. In my dream there is a sense that I will die soon. I think I have cancer. There are many people peeing in the bathroom. There are three urinals where usually there are two. There are some grapefruits on the ground right by the urinal and I'm concerned about my pee splashing out of the urinal and onto the grapefruits. I pee there anyway.

My life has been quite hectic recently and I've been under a lot of stress, so last night I incubated the idea that I wanted to have a peaceful dream where I can just enjoy the scenery and relax.

As I was approaching lucidity yesterday (by focusing on flickering hypnagogic imagery) I experienced the famous 'light at the end of the tunnel' effect. I told my unconscious to direct me anywhere I would find peace and quiet. At that moment I felt a tremendous feeling of transcendence as my dream body flew across the world (more like astral projection than actual flight though). I 'flew' past sunsets and sunrises, oceans and savannas and ended up in a Zen garden high up in a mountain range somewhere. It was so high up that in the garden itself, there was a thin stream of mist which swirled around along with the wind, giving the whole place a new touch of elegance. The layout of the garden was very simple. At the center there is a rectangle patch of gravel and sand. On this patch lay two rocks, a large one placed on one end and a small one on the other end. There was a crystal clear pool of blue water in the middle of the patch. All of this was surrounded by a wall. Outside the wall was the actual 'garden' feature of the Zen garden. There were flowers, pruned bushes and trees planted throughout, with a walkway that led all the way to the entrance of the whole place. It was a miniature landscape designed to imitate the virtues of nature - peace, tranquility, beauty and harmony. A true place to relax the mind.
