      Lucid Dream 518: Castle Love'n
      Series: Sexcapades, Episode 12
      Technique: ADA

      Clarity: Moderate
      Recall: Low
      Enjoyment: Moderate

I was at some sort of lock-in playing basketball in a gym. Part way through the game, I realized I was dreaming. I convinced everyone that we were dreaming and I told them all, "Welcome to My Castle." I noticed the walls wee made of large stone blocks and the basketball court had now disappeared. I stated giving a tour of my castle (from my "108 Stars of Destiny series") and, at the same time, exploring the castle. I lead the group of people into the kitchen which was awesome. White Marble floors and stone-like counters. There was a large gold chandelier hanging in the middle. I looked around at the group and noticed some very attractive females amongst them. I picked out a group of 3 of them and said, "You 3 can come see my bedroom next." I led the 3 girls into the next room. The entire floor of this room was a mattress instead of a normal floor. I began undressing the chicks and I went down on one of them. She had a clit piercing. At one point, I was banging a chick doggystyle and she suddenly was only a bottom half. There was no top half whatsoever. Only the waist, down, lol. At some point during this sex scene, I began to wake up. I immediately prepared to DEILD.

Lucid Dream 519: Let the Buzzard Be Your Guide
Series: Land of Dreams, Episode 14

      Clarity: Very High
      Recall: Low
      Enjoyment: Moderate

I tried to imagine a Shingeki no Kyojin setting during the transition back into the dream state. I felt like I had woke up completely and failed the DEILD. I sat up in bed and realized I was still in my castle and I had actually succeeded. I got up and exited the room. I walked down the hall and there was a set of double stairs. I walked down the steps to the floor below. There was a large sliding glass door that led to a huge deck. I walked out on the deck. All around me was forest and jungle. The deck protruded out over a huge cliff. Apparently, my castle was on the side of a huge jungle cliff. I saw birds flying around the deck and I decided to use one of them to travel. I held out my arm as if I was a falcon trainer and a really ugly turkey buzzard bit my arm. I pulled it off and grabbed it around the neck. I said, "Take me to the dragons!" It squawked and took off. I held on as the buzzard easily flew me off the deck and into the sky.

I looked down and I was now a few feet above a huge swamp. The entire environment was a huge swampy area. The buzzard began weaving through trees and I had to contort and shift my body in order to dodge the many limbs, vines, and trees. I felt like the buzzard was trying to slam me into a tree, so I lost my grasp on its neck. I squeezed the buzzard's neck a little harder and said, "Hurry up! I want to see the Dragons!" It started flying faster and the clarity of the dream went into "beast mode." Super, super vivid and clear. "Better than real life" clarity. We flew upon, what appeared to be, a carnival/amusement park. There were tents, rides, clowns, fountains, and all sorts of random structures. Everything was colorful and the area was so full of things that I couldn't remember everything even though I was trying to soak it all in. There was a group of people in panda costumes. There were three Statue of Liberty's and one of them fell down and broke their arm off. The other two Statue of Liberty's were trying to help the other one up. We flew over a huge roller coaster and I could see a volcano off in the distance. I could see the dragon's flying around the top of the volcano. I got excited thinking about riding on the dragon when I felt myself waking up. I attempted to DEILD, but I was woken up by Niece who was visiting.

      Series Details
In the dream series, "The Land of Dreams," I explore the depths of my subconscious. With no real goals in mind, I explore the creative lands and characters that come before me. Who will I meet? Where will I go? What will I do? These are the dreams that fit into no particular category. Stay tuned for more entries to the series!

    2. The Buzzard’s Beak

      by , 10-04-1979 at 04:04 PM
Morning of October 4, 1969. Saturday.

I am eight years old and am outside in the backyard of my home in Florida, and I become aware that I am dreaming. I want to enjoy myself in this lucid dream that is slowly growing in vividness, but I suddenly become aware that there are buzzards circling above (as sometimes occurs in real life) and I yell up at them - saying that I am not afraid, even raising my right fist at them. (This is mainly because Florida buzzards were a recurring fear factor in my dreams of this time period, both lucid and non-lucid.)

Almost immediately, I become aware that one of the buzzards is now swooping down to get at me. I run into the carport, and the buzzard flies onto my lower back, stabbing me with its beak (at the same time I start to sit down in an attempt to somehow crush the buzzard into the back of the chair which is impossible because a buzzard is too big for such an act). I then start to wake with a bizarre intense sensation as I am also leaning back against the chair with metal legs which I had chosen to sit in as quickly as possible (the chair facing south to the wall of the carport rather than out from the wall). The chair is not that far from the main door into the house, but I knew I could not get to it in time. I also notice a lawn mower near the chair. This also seems to be some sort of premonitory awareness of a spasm of some sort in my lower back, which is much the same as in certain other dreams.

This dream was so intense that I was almost certain that I had rolled over onto my pet cat and harmed it, but it was not around at the time. It takes some time for me to fully wake and realize this, but when I finally move, nothing is there. The in-dream sense of touch was increased to such an extent, I could feel the lumpiness in my back for a minute or so, which was not there in reality and I felt relieved that our cat was likely okay in another room as the sensation eventually dissipated.

    3. The Buzzard Who Would Be King

      by , 06-26-1971 at 12:26 PM
Morning of June 26, 1971. Saturday.

      Dream #: 1,650-02. Reading time: 1 min 30 sec.

It is early afternoon. A big buzzard is swooping towards a hamlet that seems to be part of another time, perhaps the 1600s (though this soon changes). There is tension and fear as the buzzard flies downward at a faster speed, though I seem incorporeal and I am viewing it from the side. It does not seem to be a threat to me.

Suddenly, the mood changes and I see people carrying the buzzard down the steps in a palanquin (or sedan chair) from his newly attained castle as an orchestral version of “Pomp and Circumstance” (Graduation Song) plays loudly and moderately fast. There is a ticker tape parade with people cheering. The buzzard is sitting in the sedan chair like a person (implying he has knees instead of bird legs) and with his wings closed. He is wearing a crown. I am soon viewing the scene from far above as I fly up and out of my dream. The castle now appears to be the DeSoto county courthouse. I am laughing aloud in real life as I wake. (There is a soft abdominal jerk instead of a lower back spasm.)

To understand this intriguing dream (one of my favorites of the time), I need to reveal its background information. During this time, in both non-lucid and lucid dreams, there was sometimes a focus on buzzards being in the sky as a possible threat when leaving my Cubitis home (though I did not fear them flying overhead in real life). That includes lucid dreams such as “The Buzzard’s Beak” (from October 4, 1969) that were untimely terminated with a buzzard flying down to trigger the waking process.

The graduation song is a dream state end marker. Reaching the bottom or top of a staircase is also an end marker. Flying up and out of a dream is a common vestibular system process.

The buzzard is wearing a king’s crown at the end of my dream, becoming the emergence simulacrum. The final cheerful comedic scene could be a display of the mastership of my current childhood fears of the dream state (unrelated to real life). In contrast, it could also signify that I acknowledge that the reticular activating system rules the dreaming and waking processes in a biological sense.
