1. Best Lucid Aid of Them All! - Tuesday - 2012-08-28

Non-Aware (Dream) - Partially Aware (Lucid Dream) - Fully Aware and Vivid (Astral Projection(OOBE)

I read a thread last night written by someone called "idkwhattoput". By talking to him I realized that he was way above both my level and many other members of this forum even though he was almost completely new to lucid dreaming.
My first suspicion to that came when I read that his smallest problem was to FULLY control the dream.

Sure to get lucid is a task in itself but I have overcome it to at least have at least one lucid each week, but to stabilize and maintain the dream is a completely different story. I have practiced for 4 years and only managed to do that a few times.
Yet this guy claimed to do it easily as pie... I just had to ask him what his secret was.

He told me that it was by triggering a natural Wake Back to Bed or Awakening by drinking lots of water on any other fluid before going to bed. Then after visiting the bathroom he just did a WILD attempt.
I have always been able to master the DEILD and a perfectly timed WILD, because when it is in the right moment it is as easy to count to ten... But I have never been able to find a way to regularly wake up naturally in order to do that.
So I could not believe it was this easy, but I gave it a shot.

For some reason I imagined every glass of fluid as a 40 % chance for me to wake up and I drank two.

Then I went to bed 22:10

I had some super vivid dream where I was a superhero flying around fighting criminals. At one point in this dream I grabbed a sniper rifle and tried to shoot the Joker but it was like he was invincible. I also saw Batman and lots of stuff happened in this dream, but I didn't record it so I don't remember the details.

I had a brief awakening 01:15 and recorded the dream quickly and then dozed off.

Then I had a dream where I was outside and my previous Taekwondo trainer told me that I was going to compete in three matches so I had to hurry. I thought to myself "But I am not doing this sport anymore, I stopped 8 years ago..."
Why am I here? "Maybe I stopped by to watch a match and now just randomly decided to compete ah well it might be fun." I went to my parents that were seated in the crowd and told them I needed sleevelets, then I realized that I have no other protection either nor a taekwondo suit. "We can't buy everything" they said. "But how am I supposed to compete then?" I complained. "I guess you just have to fight in that grey shirt" mom answered.
"Ah ok what ever.... I need to run there now if I am going to make it.".

I started running through the big arena I where in and the competitors were outside, I met an old friend Ralph that asked me if I was back. But I just answered "No I am actually just doing it for fun. I am allowed to kick the head now right?"
"Yeah you are but just make sure that you don't miss and that they get free kicks in your stomach."
I went out to a big grass field and saw the taekwondo-mats. Then I saw some guy playing soccer.

I woke up 04:03 and wrote some keywords and I wondered if I had woke up because the dream had ended or if I needed to go to the bathroom, but I didn't felt the urge so I thought I should try a WILD attempt. I closed my eyes and did some old Michael Raduga non-physical state testing like "Observing images, listening in.." As I listened for strange sounds I heard a tone in my ear, I don't know why but I thought that it meant that I am still in REM, not sure about that now though.
I were on my back and got uncomfortable and switched to a side sleeping posture and started falling asleep unconsciously.

I remember feeling the daydream to dream transition and was lucid for a brief second, but lost it immediately.
I were looking out on a big crowd and I remember thinking "This is a mistake I am not the artist that is supposed to be going out here... Hmm I might dare to do it since I am dreaming". I think the real artist that was going to sing was Eric Saade and I went out and started singing "Manboy, manboy!" The dancers looked strange at me, and I panicked and realized that I don't know the whole song. I grabbed the microphone and said "Sorry I am not the real artist.".

I jumped off the stage that was really high so people looked with these eyes at me
I remember that it wasn't a normal crowd but actually a school prom and the students were eating at big tables.

The dream changed and I was on a party in my own house although it looked different. The whole me was different my personality was weird and even though people liked me as a funny guy they couldn't endure two minutes with me. I was kind of like Jim Carrey. I tried to hit on some girls but failed miserably. I also went up to my room and I saw huge spider crawling o my wall! Although I am not surprised, there are tons of spiders in my real home.

I look up into the sky and I see a herd of stars moving super fast. I realized that I was dreaming but just a second after watching those stars I realize that I am looking at the back of my eyelids...
I wondered why I had woke up, but didn't had to think for long because I felt that I had a pinched nerve in my elbow and it hurt a lot.

I had long vivid and stable dreams this night. And best of all I found a way to give myself a DEILD/ WILD opportunity.
So I thank "idkwhattoput" for that and I hope that the coming nights will finally make me progress my stabilization and maintaining progress.

2. I was lucid now what..

by , 08-28-2012 at 04:35 AM (just chillin till I LD)
I woke up at 4a.m not on my volition and found a little present waiting for me when i went back to sleep. As I drifted off to sleep, I opened my eyes and saw a ps3 controller. I don't have a ps3 so I figured I must be dreaming. I wanted to see how my hand looked and it looked pretty normal. I did a noseplug and woke up...As I went back to sleep , a similar thing happened. I did the noseplug and it worked. It's hard to explain this exactly, but I felt like I could open my eyes to "enter" the dream world. What I didn't realize is that my eyes had to have been open (in the dream) in order to see my surroundings. As soon as I opened my eyes, I fell into a false awakening. I was getting ready for my day etc my room mate said it was it 5:30 a.m. I was rushing...for what reason, I have no idea.
Yea, when I finally woke up I recalled a dream where I was nonlucid in the cafeteria with an old friend DD and some girls with a gym teacher giving them instructions on how to register. I was trying to leave.

3. First LD

by , 08-28-2012 at 12:44 AM
I am standing in my room next to my bed. I know that I am dreaming because I had an instant transition from laying in bed to my current position.

I run down the stairs past my cat (who is sitting in mid-air ) to the front door and look out the window. It is dark outside, but still light enough to see everything clearly. I unlock the door, turn the knob, and think, "What if I'm not dreaming?" which scares me and gets my heart rate up. I looked back out the window and noticed a motorcycle in the front yard (with only the rear wheel) which reassures me that I am dreaming, because we don't own one. I calm down and concentrate on a beach, trying to teleport there as I open the door. This doesn't work, which frustrates me. I see a short, hooded person standing in the yard (closest I can relate him to is a goblin) and ask him why I can't teleport. He motions to follow him, which I do - around to the side of the house. I see a large cluster of crystals. the "goblin" then pretends to throw one of them to the ground. I say thanks, pick one up, throw it to the ground, and yell "the beach!" as it shatters into a cloud of smoke. I am now at a beach, staring at the waves. I get so exited to have done it that I wake up.

4. My wife.

by , 08-27-2012 at 06:16 PM (Zechariah's Dream Journal)
So, for the past fiew days I've been dabbling in different induction methods of lucid dreaming. Last night though, after quite an unhealthy dry spell of my lucid's I told my wife to wake me up around three in the morning when she would be going to sleep. She woke me up, I had a glass of water and a little talk- and then attempted to combine the WBTB, WILD, and audio induction methods all at the same time to try to overdrive my mind into remembering to remain conscious.
And praise God it did! I became lucid in a dream of my own house. My wife and I walked into the restroom, and for the sake of my enphatuation with both her and the state of being lucid, I excitedly started explaining the mechanics of what was going on to her dream character. I told her, once we open that door- we can be anywhere, doing anything we want. It's up to you.
She simply said, "I want to go back in time. Two days.". Naturally, that sounds rediculous when you have the full arsonal of my subconscious on the loose in our current realm, but I went a long with it because of it's special meaning. Yesterday, in the day time we had gotten into the worst fight of our relationship. It was a stammering, on the edge conflict that nearly broke us appart, but we made it through with an even stronger stride. So I opened the door, and we went back in time. Before we fought. Before we said things. It was a nice dream to have, even though it completely distracted me from my dream-state studies. I would have it again if I could. After that I had a false awakening, told my wife's second dream character about the first dream, and then it got strange and unorganized. There were a scene where her and I pulled into a dead end street with a bunch of husky Charlie's Angel looking guys parked around my truck (I don't have a truck in real life). One of them came up to me and started talking shit. So I reached for my keys, closed my door and took off. I think I ran over his foot, because him and a group of his friends started riding towards me. I turned out on the main freeway, just to realize that the freeway had turned into a mall... I was driving my truck through a mall, accedently hitting people. So I skidded to a stop, and walked up to a desk where... my wife and I began to casually go about banking business. Then later after a somewhat dark period, I remember being down the street from my house at night time. It was halloween, or something like that I suspected. It was an eerie setting, things started touch me out of nowhere and taunt me so I began walking away and noticed little stuffed dolls on the ground as if someone had been chucking them towards me. Half way back to my house I noticed a group of idiot teenagers giggling about it, so I climbed up the fense about to confront them- but instead just laughed it off and went home. I had some later dreams, but nothing concrete enough to report on. Thanks for reading!
5. Dream DEILD Flying - Monday - 2012-08-27

Non-Aware (Dream) - Partially Aware (Lucid Dream) - Fully Aware and Vivid (Astral Projection(OOBE)

I went to bed very late, around 24:00 because I played some Dead Island with my friend. But I didn't remember much dreams from this night, however I fell asleep again and dreamed this:

I woke up and my mom asked me how the swimming in school worked if we were free to do what we wanted or if we had to earn a swimming badge first. In this dream I took my sheets and pillow to the sofa in the room outside of my bedroom and for some reason I fell asleep there. Then I remember hearing my dad yelling my name from downstairs in this dream and my mom said "let him sleep". I visualized myself walking in a town and I think I dreamed about it for a bit until I suddenly got more aware and sort of realized what had happened. I remember that it wasn't as vivid as a normal dream, but I tried to chain the dream and I got lucid. I realized that the first dream I had was a false awakening but I flew to a house that looked like my real house. I was considering yelling "I am dreaming!" to stabilize but was yet again... worried that I would scream for real as well. So instead I screamed "MOM! Can you hear me?" and I hear an answer "Yes what is it?" and I answered "Uhm don't wake me up I am dreaming!".
"Ok..." she said. Then I went downstairs and went out of my house, at first I considered choosing a jacket but then I thought "Hmm that's unnecessary I am dreaming." I got out of my house and I flew up into the air with great control for a change. I looked in through my bedroom window but didn't saw myself. Then I thought "Oh right I am in my TV-room in this dream. I also thought "Hmm is it an OBE if I see myself? Or do I have to wake myself up... Nah not going to risk it let's try out some stabilization techniques. This dream seems stable enough to try out all of them!"
I did a nose-plug reality check, but it didn't work! So I can't relay on that one anymore, I then went to my stair and felt it with my hands and I even licked the rail just to see if it helped  But I actually lost my lucidity...
I went upstairs and I think I had a nosebleed so I went to the toilet and grabbed some paper, but then I woke up.

When I woke up my hands were paralyzed and it hurt when I tried to move them, but it gradually faded away.
The time was now 08:37
I then asked my mom if she had heard me when I yelled. But she had not :cheeky:

6. My Best Lucid Yet! (DEILD)

by , 08-27-2012 at 06:23 AM
Okay, so this morning I had my first DEILD-induced LD! It was at least 5 times more realistic than the DILD ones!

I don't have time to write about the night before now bout maybe I will edit it later as it's important.

black: Side-notes
red: Non-lucid dream
blue: Lucid dream

So, here's the dream:

I'm laying in my childhood room's bed. My eyes aren't open, I just know I'm there (in reality I'm in my real bed). This doesn't seem strange at the time. I feel strong vibrations in the lower half of my body (from my chest to my toes). First I think it's only because some phenomena during meditation can be very strong. But hey! I wasn't meditating for the last 30 minutes! Then I feel the vibrations in every part of my body. I conclude that this must be SP because there is a nearly painful weight-on-the-chest effect too. So I hold still and wait. After about 15 seconds I open my eyes. I stand up, make a reality check, and I am lucid dreaming! Yeah! I want to exercise my strength a little so I try to break in the walls of the house but I don't succeed. Then I go into the living room where I find my friend's sister. My friend suddenly jumps to my back and tries to cover my head with a pillow (a scene from one of my previous dreams that night) but I can evade it. I go out to the yard and I suddenly remember my current goal: Have sex with the girl in the orange swimsuit . So I constantly try to summon her with not much success. Then I walked down the street. When I passed a house, a voice came after me. I turned back and saw a girl standing next to a house and talking to me. I went there, and thought if I don't find the girl I wanted she will be just as good . We went in but then the girl transformed into some old woman in black clothes. She showed me the house which was a bit dirty. I tried to summon the girl I wanted again. I stood in front of a room with closed door and thought: She'll be inside when I open it. I tried it many many times but I could only summon a boy with six eyes, a 300 kg sumo fighter and a woman with a mustache . I think my lucidity started fading here because I did some not-so-normal things like turning knobs on a guitar amplifier to achieve my goal.... After that my vision went away and I woke up for real.

It was a very memorable experience and got me into LDing again after 2 weeks of laziness and it got me think hard on the "What is reality?" topic.
7. 08252012- Meeting Sivason, Lucid Dream Talk

by , 08-27-2012 at 05:30 AM
I met my teammate in the competition! We had a lucid talk about dreams and the competition points! Neat!

I am at the mall on the second-floor leaning over a rail andlooking out over a open-area with people walking around with their purchases.Sivason walks up and I immediately recognize him, becoming lucid at the samemoment. He is wearing robes and reminds me of Noah for some reason though in myhead I think his dress is more like Moses.

We start having a lively discussion about Shared Dreaming, much like in the Debate thread on the forum. We cover some of the ideaspresented and also talk about WILD points from the competition.

“I think you get 3 points for WILD.” I find myself saying. “I’vebeen doing the points this week.”

“No, I think it’s four points.” He says this but seemsuncertain.

“I’ll check later. I have to tally the points.”

I can’t believe I’m talking about this in a dream, a dreamwhere I discuss dreaming. It’s enough to make me ponder things and I start tolose the dream.

Right before things fade Sivason says, “I’m sorry I waslate. I was in London.”

And I wake up.

8. 08232012- 3rd Dream, Fighting Zombies in Texas, Peeing On The PS2 and Becoming A Zombie Superhero

by , 08-27-2012 at 05:28 AM
Yes. I peed on my son's Playstation 2.

I went to south Texas, presumably to visit my long-deadrelatives who lived down there. I know I was looking forward to seeing mygrandmother, an odd feeling. Still, Iseemed to be visiting some unknown relatives that were part of the family, people I had never met but had been given info on.

I walked to the house and went in, asking to use theirbathroom. I knew they would let me because I was family. I hate using thebathroom of strangers but I really had to go.

Closing the door and sitting on the toilet I began to pee. Iheard a sound to my right and realized the man of the house was in the shower.Goody, I definitely didn’t want to be seen by him but as I think this he opensthe shower door and looks at me. I actually hid my face because I felt sodisgusted at his stare. He closed the shower door and went back to hisactivity.

Sadly, a few moments later the bathroom door opens and twopeople are peering at me like I’m some interloper using the toilet. I am appalledthey are staring at me and I tell them I’ll be done in a moment. One of themsays, “Something is wrong.” The two of them look at each other and I presumethey’re confused about my presence. I shut the door and finish.

When I’m done I head right out of the house to the frontyard. As I approach my vehicle I can see it has been damaged by fire andpossibly collision. I realize this is what they were talking about when theysaid something was wrong.

The car appears to have burned from the hood but I suspectthe damaged mirror, now dangling, is the actual cause of the fire. The policeand firemen arrive but the fire is already out. They look at the car and at meand wish me luck but none of them offer me a ride anywhere despite me beingclearly stranded.

Pulling out my hotel information I make my way back to whereI’m staying. It is some considerable distance and I’m tired and glad to bethere after such a long walk. My hotelis a two-story lodge, common to any medium-sized populace. I think my room ison the second floor.

I head to my room and open the door. It’s nice and quiet, the way I like it. This is odd because my kids are now following me as I headout to the balcony. I am vaguely surprised to see them but they show no interestin visiting with me. As if by magic friends appear out of nowhere, other kidsthey met at the hotel visiting from other balconies. My daughter has friends her age (odd to see themout at night) and my older son has a friend over as well. They engage eachother eagerly and take no notice of me. I head back inside.

In the room (which now appears to be a spacious 2-storyroom) is a teen girl standing outside the bathroom waiting on someone. She isdressed like some kind of goth with a long black skirt, black top, too much palemakeup and too many jingly bracelets and other adornments. I assume she knowsmy son and I wish she would leave. I really need to pee.

Deciding I can no longer wait on the person in the bathroomI look around for an alternative. I see my son’s Playstation 2 sitting on acoffee table next to the television and I head over to it. Glancing briefly atthe goth-girl and deciding I don’t care what she thinks I pull my pants downand squat over the game-machine. Peeing is quite a relief and I can see theliquid running into the box around the laser assembly. My relief turns to panicas the box fills and overflows, piss running onto the table and a little bit onmy leg. “Oh yeah”, I think…”the PS2 doesn’t have the extra storage that the PS3has. I should have used a PS3.”

I pull up my pants and walk out of the hotel room and intothe hall. The corridor is long and appears like an interior maintenancecorridor more than a hotel-hallway with pipes along the ceiling and unpainteddoors. I am looking for a bathroom and I think one might be across the hallfrom me but as people pour through the double-doors I realize the opposite roomis another part of the hotel.

I turn left and make my way down the hall. I believe the farroom is a bathroom or contains one. I turn a bend at the end of the hall andfind myself in a break-room, a couple tables and some chairs with coffee andother minor snacks sitting on counters that run the length of the room.

Someone walks out of the door at the far end of the room andI know that’s where I need to go. He walks through the room and out to the hallI came from but as he opens that door a zombie comes in. The zombie triggers mylucidity and I know I’m dreaming of something my son talked about, theimpending Zombie Apocalypse. I should feel scared by the sight but it is onlyone zombie after all.

I’m starting to turn away as I see several more peopleheaded into the room, by mistake I suspect, and I know they can handle thezombie. My lack-of concern is quickly replaced by trepidation as I realize I’mnow facing five zombies from the direction of the hall and perhaps I shouldexit. I turn and behind me is another zombie arriving from the direction I wantto go.

We dance around a table and I know he’s not a problem for mebut I can’t figure a way out. His neck is bulging as if inflated and he iscoated with a green ooze that vaguely resembles a liquid-like form of rubbercement. I am mildly repulsed.

I make a dash for it towards the door I want to head for andhe follows. I know I’m stronger than him and I easily block him from getting tome but he is strong and the feel of his muscles under the green ooze is alittle unnerving. I manage to push himoff a couple times but I know he will get to me.

Remembering that I’m dreaming and I can’t actually be harmedI stop in the hallway and let him come. He attempts to bite but nothinghappens. I just stand there and let him do as he wishes for a minute. It eventickles.

I start walking away as he stares at me dumbfounded, an oddlook for a zombie. I am invincible now and I really want to fly away, despitebeing in a building. I leap towards the air, one hand up like superman and flyup beyond where the ceiling should be, a dark void of space opening up for meto play with. I feel like a real superhero.

And then I wake up.

9. 08222012- 3rd Dream, Self-Pleasure

by , 08-27-2012 at 05:21 AM
I withheld a few details of this dream because they were simply too graphic. Still, I will remember this dream well for a long time.

I’m driving with Jen along a road in south Austin, achain-link fence to my right. I look over and ask, “Shall we go home or toMisty’s house or to your parent’s house?”

“Hone.” I nod agreement and head in that direction. Jen haschemo the following morning and I know she should get her rest. It’s been anactive week.

As we approach home I think, “But the house is SO damaged.”Indeed the house is suffering from no maintenance and a room or two that arefalling apart. Inside the house isn’t too bad, for the most part, but I seem torecall the floor in my upstairs bedroom had caved in except along the edges ofthe room. The image in my mind is of a room with a gaping hole where the floorshould be and the contents spilling into the garage below.

We go in and I set Jen up watching a movie in theentertainment room, a large space downstairs where the dining room should be.The carpet seems to be missing from the room and it seems gloomy inside. I hangout in the hall right outside the room looking in. I can see the shape of a manin the room with her, perhaps a butler that I don’t recall us having. Heresolves into a man wearing a tux and holding a silver platter as I think abouthis appearance.

I realize I’mdreaming and direct my attention to themovie Jen is watching. The TV is showing a movie about some strange creaturesthat are man-made, genetic monsters that seem very angry at their existence andhave a desire to kill humans (a predictable plot) though their original purposewas benign. They were created to help unlock the secrets of the genetic code, a3-billion year-old mystery that could be resolved with these creatures andtheir special abilities. They seem to have a seeing-power that can look backthrough genetic history to the earliest ages of life on the planet. Most of thecreatures seem to be upset with humans and how they’ve been treated but a fewhave evolved and become more intelligent. These kinder monsters wear clothesand have even formed their own government to help them coexist with humans. It’san interesting movie.

Seeing as I’m alone I spend some time pleasuring myself, alucid act that is more fun in some ways in a dream. Occasionally I look up tomake certain no one is watching. This goes on for several minutes.

After a time Jen needs something and I tell her I can get itfrom my room on the second floor. I head upstairs and walk into my old bedroomexpecting to see a gaping hole but instead I see the room is intact. The floorremains though it has settled in about six inches lower and in a square shapeas if it was by design. I presume the floor is unstable and I move along theedges of the room.

I am approaching the side of the room where my old bed isand I start to slip into the gap. Knowing I only have a fraction of a secondbefore I fall in I leap to the opposite side, barely finding a purchase withenough of my body on the side to not cave in the floor.

Getting back up I make my way to the bed and continuepleasuring myself as before. It feels really good and I recognize this as oneof my dream signs. The act itself stabilizes the dream and I am able to go onenjoying it. I really want to orgasm, the intense sensations I’m experiencingalmost too good as I make good use of my hands. I am trying so hard to achievemy first really powerful dream orgasm but I’m just not close enough. I know it’sclose but I can’t seem to take myself over the edge, and I want to so bad. Ican imagine the feelings and I know how good it will be when I do but because Ikeep failing I wake up. In real life I’m incredibly aroused and I wish I couldhave completed the act.

10. 08222012- 2nd Dream, I'm Gonna Draw On Your Face

by , 08-27-2012 at 05:18 AM
I love dreams where you actually get to do something cool!

I’m in the lobby of my old job, the first floor of thebuilding. The time is around 5:30PM and normal business has concluded which meansI will have to use my key for the elevators. I insert my key into the controland all 3 elevators go into diagnostic mode, the doors of each opening wide. Apanel displays the words “Take The Stairs” in bold red LED letters, and Irealize I will not be using the elevators. I walk towards the back of thebuilding and pass several workers with tool-belts and hardhats who stare at melike I’m part of their problem.

When I reach the second floor I approach the reception desk.Unlike what I remember from real life this desk is situated in the middle ofthe large, open room, similar to the main branch of the public librarydowntown. It seems an odd place for the reception desk in an office building.

The woman at the desk is blonde, in her late twenties orearly thirties and has pale skin. She is clearly disaffected and does not wearany makeup. I can tell my experiencewith her will be splendid as I plop down a check on the desk from my in-lawsthat I need to have cashed.

I grab a pen from the desk and sign the check. Turning thecheck back over I see it is smudged and I presume the elevator smudged itsomehow. Handing it to the woman I feel happy to finally get my money but thewoman scrutinizes it unfavorably.

“No,” she says. “This is not your handwriting! You havenever signed checks like this.” I don’t actually recall giving her checks beforebut I presume I must have at some point in the past. I remember how I had to insert the check intoa slot by the elevator to come upstairs and I say, “The elevator printed on itand smudged it.” As I return her gaze Irealize her bulbous fingers also smudged the check making the black smear worsethan before.

I’m not happy about this situation and to illustrate thispoint I pick up the pen and jab it several times at her face, leaving a numberof blue marks on her cheeks. At least some part of me is thinking, “I’m gonnadraw on your face!” She seems confused by this but she doesn’t get angry, andany respect I may have ever had for her disappears.

I take the check from her and give her a disdainful look, the thought of how much this place sucks spreading through my mind. Some unseenclue has alerted me that I am needed in the back of the office and my checkissue will have to wait.

I reach an open area outside a corner room with corridorsleading off to my left and behind me. I am sitting on a desk facing back theway I came from and I’m talking with a coworker who looks like he should benamed ‘Johnson’ or some other nondescript name. He’s fair-haired with cleanfeatures and a dark suit that marks him as a low-ranking office worker.

Agent Johnson says, “Something bad happened with ProjectSyllabus.”

I shake my head and become lucid as I reply, “Everything hasgone spooky here since this project started. Have you noticed? Weird things; somepeople have been hurt and even killed.”

The agent leaves and I’m happy because I would rather talkto the two young ladies that have walked in to the room. I am male at thismoment, just another guy in the office as these two women walk into the roomfor First Aid. I know I can help.

What makes me happy is that I know these women. One I’m onlyvaguely familiar with and she’s very beautiful. The other is a girl I datedaround the time I was 18. Her hair is unkempt and she is wearing wrinkledclothing that suggests she did not expect to be seen in public and had beenswimming in a creek.

The beautiful girl is about 19, a clean face that lights upwith even the tiniest smile and soft-looking light-brown hair. She is wearing aU.T. shirt and shorts and is in a different class from the other girl.

I say “Hi” to both and touch their hands though onlyreluctantly with my ex. I get the feeling the pretty girl would like to get toknow me and I let my touch linger with her fingers. I explore the feeling of her nails, a lucidsensation that fascinates me. I’m turning her hand over to look at the detailand feel the weight of her hand and I wish she would hold me tighter. Inresponse to my thought she curls her fingers through mine and we are holdinghands as she prepares to receive treatment to a cut on her knee from someoneunseen behind me. I don’t really care what is going on around me. I really justwant to spend time with this young woman, knowing the dream will end soon and Iwill lose this moment.

“Would you like to stay with me?” I ask her. She turns toface me and smiles, blushes a little. “I would love to. We could have dinner.”I feel my own blush coming on.

And then I wake up.

11. 08222012 - 1st Dream, The Intricate Tree

by , 08-27-2012 at 05:15 AM
I loved the incredible detail in this dream. It was almost magical.

I’m outside the local Schlotzsky’s restaurant on south Lamarnear the river. Coming out of the building my friends and I encounter thegreenery near the parking lot. We’re laughing and joking and it’s possible thatsome of us are on drugs, though I am uncertain if I took something or not.

I’m approaching a twisted tree that has arranged itself inthe most wondrous and visually impossible way, as though the growth wasdirected by a blind spider. Twists and turns made by the branches seem to forma maze, nearly impossible to follow or find which way the wood is growing.Small branches sprout in every direction. The leaves of the tree sparkle, most likelyfrom droplets of water sprayed out by the landscaping sprinkler system. Thelight shining through the droplets looks like fairy magic, a tiny enchantedforest in the Schlotzsky’s parking lot. The sight triggers my lucidity as Iexamine the fine details.

One of the guys in the group says, “Charmaigne calls thisthe intricate tree.” He looks up with a half-high look on his face and placeshis hand on his hip.

Another guy asks, “Why?”

I reply, “Because it’s intricate.” This seems profound andyet horribly obvious at the same time. I can’t believe my DCs are this dumb.

I look down at a small plant and the complicated patternsare even more detailed here. Shapes and colors seem otherworldly and thesparkly water droplets are here also. I know this plant can’t exist in thisworld and as I stare I find myself starting to fall into another world.

And I wake up.

12. 08212012-Missing School Children and The Government Has Tiny Helicopters

by , 08-27-2012 at 05:13 AM

I’m taking a walking field-trip with my daughter’sclass. Our departure from the school isalong a road several miles south of the real-life school and it feels weird tobe taking this route for a walking field-trip.

We head out and all is initially fine but 4 of the childrenin the class are a little developmentally deficient and these 4 kids run outinto the street. Cars pass by them on both sides as I’m screaming at them tocome back to the side of the road. I realize they probably can’t get backsafely and I know I’m going to have to go get them. I’m preparing myself to dothis when the one closest to me, from the middle of the street, stares up at meand then runs across the street narrowly avoiding being struck. I’m amazed sheand the others made it across the road as they appear to be about 4 years ofage despite being a part of my daughter’s class.

I finally get a break in the traffic and make my way across, chasing them along the road towards another class on a field trip. These kidsare older and have come by bus. I find myself envious of their field-trip.

The children blend into the group and disappear from mysight. I don’t know where they are and I’m frantically trying to think of a wayto get them separated from the group. An idea suddenly springs to mind and Isay, “Who here is from [school], raise your hand?” I’m thinking the younger kids will respond andI will be able to pick them out of the group.

My expectations are dashed when all the kids raise theirhands. I have encountered a class of older children from my daughter’s schooland I recognize none of them. Not being daunted by this I decide the kids musthave gotten onto the bus. As the class boards I go in behind them, asking theteacher if they mind if I do a search. The teacher is agreeable and allows meto walk the aisle of the bus looking for them. Sadly I can’t find them.

Before I can turn around the bus driver closes the doors andstarts driving down the road. I think, “Oh. Okay. I guess I’ll get off when wepass my class walking down the road.” Again my expectations are shattered when he drives right past the classand I set my new goal for the next block. I tell the driver he passed my groupand at first he seems to ignore me. I repeat myself, speaking a little moreforcefully and he slams on the brakes. I grab on to a pole in an attempt tostabilize myself but I lose my grip. My body slides forward to the front of thebus where I grab on to another pole to keep myself from smashing into thedashboard. I lose my grip again and roll into the front console as the buscomes to a final stop.

Glaring at the driver I make my way off the bus and start runningback towards my group. As I approach I still can’t see the lost kids and otheradults are still looking for them. I tell them I will keep on looking for themcloser to where we started.

Down the road I find myself on a dirt track, an unpaved roadthrough the forest heading out to Enchanted Rock, a state park 80 miles west ofAustin. The kids are now forgotten and Iam climbing up a wooded hill, more of asmall cliff than anything, on my way to the campsite. I’m with my dad and someof his friends, people I do not recognize. All are carrying packs of gear.

At the crest of the cliff is a rocky ledge with some bulkytree-roots running along it. Each of us has to climb over this ridge and turnaround to help the next climber. I turn to help my dad over the root. As I do athought comes to mind.

“This is the spot where you made a strong promise to me.” AsI say this to him I look down at the watch on his wrist as though I expect himto pass it on to me someday. The moment seems significant but I can’t entirelyfigure out why. I help him up and we continue to the campsite.

The spot we camp at is beautiful, a cliff overlooking thelake hundreds of feet below with spotty signs of habitation visible only aslights in the darkness. It had not been dark previously but now the setting isat night. The stars are visible above and my surroundings are illuminated as ifby a bright full moon though I do not see one in the sky.

Everything seems peaceful until the silence is broken by asmall government helicopter which has come to spy on us. The helicopter isactually miniature, about the size of a bread-box though it has sophisticatedcontrols and surveillance cameras that can see in the dark. Everyone scramblesto avoid being hit by the rotors.

Why is the government concerned with us? I can’t imagine thereasoning considering the crowd I’m with, none of whom are former agents orcurrent spies. Thinking this I suddenly realize the helicopter is there for me.I know I must be the one under suspicion and the knowledge spurs me to action.I duck below the edge of the cliff, a small overhanging ledge providing me somecover from the cameras that can only see horizontally. I find myself looking upat the small helicopter as it rotates around to find me. I evade it easily.

I become lucid and realize this is a dream. The helicoptercan’t hurt me and I decide to just reach up and grab it. It feels solid in myhand, unlike some dream objects, and it vibrates like a gas-powered toy. As Idisable it the rotors stop and the machine becomes a mere hunk of plastic andmetal in my hand. I know the agency hunting me will come looking for theirsurveillance toy and attempt to figure out what happened to both it and me so Ilet everyone know we will have to leave.

In the morning I am talking to my dad as everyone packs up.I’m playing with the helicopter, extending the telescoping antenna andcollapsing it. I look at it and say, “I wish I could make it work again.”

In response my dad tosses me a battery pack for it,something he had removed during the night. I had willed that to happen, something I knew as the battery landed in my hand. I love how things work indreams, I think. My dad continues to pack out gear as I wake up.

13. 08202012- A Hot Tub Is A Great Gift

by , 08-27-2012 at 05:11 AM

I bought a present for my former neighbors. It is odd thatthey still live in town but I found their new home and have decided to takethem a house-warming present. Ringing the doorbell I wait with my hands behindmy back, occasionally rocking on my toes as I eagerly await for my friends toanswer.

The door opens and I’m greeted by the April’s husband, afriend I know as the parent of a child in my daughter’s class. He is onlywearing his blue-jeans and his eye-glasses. Even his feet are bare and he lookshis usual bored self.

“Oh, I was expecting John. What are you doing here?” Headmits me into the house and says something but I don’t catch it as a younggirl runs up speaking to him as ‘daddy’ though I know very well she is thedaughter of another man I know. I am feeling really confused and slightlyunhappy that my friend didn’t answer his own door.

I set the present on the table and I tell April’s husbandthat I bought my friends a present.

“Oh cool, they’ll be very happy. Check it out, they just gota hot tub!” He directs my gaze to the back of the house and I see a huge hottub installed in the back of the house. It’s gorgeous, and my gift doesn’tcompare at all, particularly because I also bought them a hot tub.

I’m visibly disappointed though he takes no notice. I happento finally look around and I find myself in a huge living room, perhaps 1,500sq ft in size. It’s well-appointed and tastefully decorated. A large fireplaceadorns the far wall.

The guy turns back to me and asks , “Do you want to see?”

Of course I want to see, I think, but I don’t respond. Ijust walk over to the back room. It’s sunken below the level of the living roomby nearly 8 feet but even more impressive is the wall of west-facing windowsnext to the hot-tub.

I walk down to the sunken room and then right on out theglass doors to the back yard. The view is expansive, and here is where I findmy friend John. He’s showing a doctor-friend of his the view. He waves at meand suggests I climb the small dirt hill to fully see why he bought this place.

Slightly to my left is a small dirt hill of packed earth. As Iclimb the small rise my view expands from a nearby tree to the scenic vistathat borders the large property. I achieve full-lucidity as I crest the hilland am awed by the small mountain range in the distance. I’m awed by the detailmy mind is creating, scenes inspired by some of the best places I’ve been whenI was younger. The sun is not quite low in the sky and the colors are alreadypretty on this side of the mountains. I pan my gaze and the range continues tomy left, becoming tall hills that come within 2 miles of the house and end nearthe road to my far left periphery.

In front of the hills and to the left is a well-maintained golfrange though the grass looks a little brown between me and the fairway. A manabout to putt waves at us as I zoom my gaze in his direction. My eyes act likea telescope and I can examine details both near and far. Somewhat behind thegolfer is a split in the range which allows people on the golf course to drivethrough from one side of the hills to the other. The light from the semi-lowsun is brighter here shining on both sides of the pass and casting a glare inmy direction. It’s truly a beautiful scene. I’m thinking about how I want tolive some place that looks like this, followed by thoughts of exploring themountains in my free time. I even think about how I can access the golf courseand the vista beyond from the road which leads to the far side of the hills. Istart wondering what is on the other side and decide I’ll wait for the surprisein a future dream. I know I’ll visit this place again.

My lucidity fades out as I find myself in the aisle of aHome Depot store attempting to put the pieces of the hot tub I bought back intoa box so it can be returned. I paid $3500 for that tub and if I don’t get itall back together I won’t get my full refund. I could really use the $3500.

14. First Stablising Attempt

by , 08-27-2012 at 02:06 AM (The Inner Workings of a Sound Addict)
26.08.2012
First Stablising Attempt (DILD)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

My third lucid since using DreamViews! Dream recall has be shit recently, due to getting a maximum of 6 hours of sleep each night from working 12 hour shifts at the Olympics. This dream occurred on one of my days off, however, during a comfortable 12 hours sleep.

As I'm walking a builder/gardener out of my family's new house, he hands me a massive joint, saying he doesn't want or need it. I gladly take it and walk back into my house. I walk past a room where my mum's sitting and worry that she may have seen it in my hand. Semi-panicking, I dash it under a cupboard in the next room.

She then calls me back and asks if I have any weed on me. I confidently say no, and challenge her to search me, but she uses an electronic radar device to search the immediate area. Thankfully nothing shows up, even after increasing the radius of the radar.

Once she moves to the garden, I act on my opportunity to move the weed upstairs to the attic room.

Here's where it gets interesting.

When coming back downstairs, I contemplate vaulting over the bannister. Suddenly I remember, vaulting over bannisters and falling the ground floor was a recurring dream during my childhood. Am I dreaming? The fact that I'm even considering falling that far suggests I must be. Only one way to find out.

I fall almost the whole way, but just before the ground I levitate.

I'm dreaming, I knew it! Now to have some fun.

I fly around the house for a bit, before making my way back upstairs to my room. For the first time I remember I have to stablise in order to keep this incredible dream going. I rub my hands together and a wave of euphoria hits me. Who knew stablising could feel this good?

I then rub my hands on my chest of drawers and I'm amazed at how accurately my mind has recreated its texture! The euphoria intensifies and I just stand there, rubbing my hands on the wooden cupboard.

I attempt to transport into my computer monitor, but this fails and I decide I'm not experienced enough to pull of such advanced maneuvers and the dream ends.

15. The origin of the name.

And so the dream starts; I’m stood in the middle of a busy clothing shop, with no idea how I got there. I looked around, trying to see if I was with someone, but I was alone (no friends of family accompanied me here). Suddenly something strange catches my eye; in the middle of a shop selling clothing, there’s a life-sized stone statue of a lion, just placed there. It was in a sitting pose, and pointing towards a door which was open. At this point I became lucid (the method used here was the “How did I get here” method which has served me well on many occasions), because in front of the door was a small, black and white house-cat, standing on two legs. I can only compare it to the cat people in Monster Hunter Freedom really. It didn’t speak; it just stood there, stared at me, then made a beckoning gesture and walked through the door.

So I followed the cat creature and entered what looked to be an elevator shaft with a convenient series of wooden planks forming a path down; the cat was still walking down and looked up to me only to gesture again. I’m the kind of person who observes everything, so I looked at the ceiling to see if there was anything strange and noticed that where I stood (at the doors opening), I was at the top level of the building and there was so way any mechanism for an elevator could function with the way it was set up as far as I could tell. I then follow the cat.

I make it to the bottom and find myself exiting into a bustling street intersection. Before I could take in the view I spot the cat again, and, you guessed it, the cat beckons once more. I follow, and loose the cat around the first corner it turns, and instead of looking for the cat again, a garage door catches my eye. I decide to hit a switch and the door opens. I look inside and I see a formation of messy desks covered in books. Across the room, obscured by the light behind it, was a silhouette of a strange being. “This’ a nice house you have here” I say to the being, as it begins to stand. Unfortunately I was unable to discover what the being was, since I woke up as soon as it stood up. I just know it was tall, and definitely not human, although it had a vaguely human shape.

This dream is somewhat old but I decided I shouldn't spam journal entries and should focus on entering only one for now; the most interesting one I have written. When I have more dreams, lucid or not, if they're interesting I’ll write them on here for you awesome people to read. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this guff, people.
