    1. Dreams since my first LD

      by , 06-02-2014 at 04:13 PM
Since my first LD, which was awesome and highly historically themed, my dreams have been highly fragmented and recall has been shattered like a pair of graphite hands. I think I've been trying too hard to get lucid again. Forcing it. Like fitting a desire shaped peg into a chilled out hole. Wow, forced analogies are beautiful.

So, glancing through the past couple of days in my DJ I shall decant unto you some of the vague things I could recall.

Firstly, the words BAREFOOT NAZIS dominate about half a page of my dream journal. Could so easily be the name of a punk band. I just remember thinking what an ill advised footwear (or lack thereof) decision this was.

I starred in a play with a close friend. Halfway through the performance a fiery argument ensued. The audience thought it was just amazing acting. Like something from an episode of frasier.

Really need to work on my dream recall. Because if I can't remember the odd conjurings of my sub-conscious to spout around the internet what is the point in all this.

Would love to know what Freud would have thought of the phrase barefoot nazis though...

    2. Stress, anxiety and fear... [02/06/14]

by , 06-02-2014 at 11:50 AM (My lucid comeback!)
Okay, first night and already have 3 dreams to talk about.

      1. An average day at school.

The dream starts with me sitting in history-class and one of my friends laughing at me. It's all very cloudy but I was suddenly walking around the building and I looked up to the trees waving in the wind. I entered the class-room again and saw the teacher, suddenly I feel a strong feeling of stress. (IRL I had to do a task for him but I gave it in late and I got a warning, nothing serious though.)

      2. A 2D Side-scrolling platformer...

I was in some blocky building and my view shifted from looking through my own eyes to a game-perspectif of a 2D Side-scroller with me being the main character.
I don't know why but as I went through the levels I had to refill some sort of meter. (I think it was my culture-level.) So along the way I stopped by some things that refilled it, I think first I ate a sandwich that was on the ground and then there was a cow that had a bag over it's back filled with milk which I drank from.

      3. Emergency!

My mother drove up to the front door and I got out with my backpack, I think it was somewhere in the afternoon.(IRL I just walk home from school) I went inside where I saw my father laying on the ground unconscious. I saw that before that he had started cleaning the house cause he had a free day. I shouted 'FUCK!', I pulled him up and rapidly carried him outside to the car where my mother was still in. He felled very light and I had no trouble holding him. When I got to the car my mother asked me 'What happened!?', I responded "I don't know! He was on the ground!", I got in the car and pulled him in, the door of the car was still open but the rapid acceleration of the car smacked it back. We drove really fast and after a minute my father woke up, he said that he thought it was a bleeding in his head. For some reason we let him drive. We drove over a dirt road and I remember seeing a puddle on it, I said "Look out, you don't know how deep that is!", but it wasn't deep so we went over it. Then I woke up.

    3. Let's do this! (LDman)

by , 06-01-2014 at 10:52 PM (My lucid comeback!)
Hi, I'm LDman or actually my name is Tommy.
A short introduction for those who might accidently end up here:

The time that I'm writing this I'm a 16 year old guy from Belgium who has his exams starting in about 5 days.(good moment to start a new DJ...)
This might be my very first DJ on this forum but I'm not a rookie when it comes to LDing, I had my first LD about 3 years ago.
From then on I did nothing for a year until I saw the film 'Inception' which sparked my motivation for lucidity.
I started heavily researching and experimenting with every technique I've found on the net in the last 2 years, have had a DJ last year for about two weeks because it was more an experiment then a real DJ. However due to the EXTREME increase in Dream-recall and lucidity I decided after one year of school (almost, exams coming up... ) that I should start a new one.
How effective the DJ last year was you might ask?
Well at first I could normally remember 1 dream per night, the first week of keeping the journal that increased to 6... 6!
The second week of me keeping the journal I had already gotten 2 DILDs, and I wasn't even trying to.
Not only that but my waking memory exploded to the point where I could remember complete conversations from weeks ago... and THIS is why I decided to begin the journal now, using it as a hacking-tool for my exams which won't be that much a problem anyway but I'm always stressed for it.

This year without me keeping a journal or doing anything I had 15 DILDs and 2 WILDs, could remember 2-4 dreams per night and still have an extremely detailed memory...

That was quiet a long introduction comparing to most others starting a DJ here but that's the way I am and the way you will likely read my dreams.
I won't be posting them the moment I wake up cause I really don't have enough time then, I will dot down some key-words and likely start writing them in the afternoons if I can remember something by then. Well actually it won't be that much of a problem, I can already remember a dream I've had this morning and it is nearly midnight now so... I might just tell it already:

      Black: Awake

      Blue: Dream

Green: Other states (Sleep paralysis/Astral Projection/...)

      Red: Lucid

I was in a gras-field somewhere in the England and there where some shelves scattered around like it was some open-air magazine, however the shelves were spread out like 50 meters each time. Of into the distance somewhere in the middle of the field there was a steam-train slowly coming to a stop. I was looking in a shelve for a noise filter that would stop the static noise from my headphones in my computer (real life problem) and behind some cables I found them, I was extremely happy to find them there. (still haven't found them IRL, I will order them online soon... ) Anyway, so I was happy and was ready to go to my family which I knew where near the steam-train... WHEN SUDDENLY I heard gun-shots coming from the steam-train and I panicked, I knew my family was dead by then which was depressing. I told myself "Shit, I need to get the fuck out of here!", by then a rocket was launched from the steam-train and quikly flew towards me, I dodged it and it exploded behind me, I filmed it with my Phone cause I thought it would be evidence for later. I started running towards some old bridge that went over some rails. (not those from the steam-train) There I saw a modern train was starting to leave, I knew it was my last chance so I jumped on the back while it started driving. It felt like I was in a game, I fell of and tried jumping on it again but failed. Then I woke up...

So yeah you can see how intense my normal dreams can get, and then I haven't even talked about my lucid dreams. Prepare for stories about me being chased by bears wearing clown make-up that want to rape me... seriously that happened last week in a dream but I managed to run away so don't worry.
My friends at school are usually amused when I tell them about my dreams and I understand why. I haven't had any childhood trauma's nor am I crazy so stay calm.

    4. #1. The Invisible-Making Water and the Dorito

      by , 06-01-2014 at 08:16 PM
      5/31/2014
      In bed: 2:39 AM - 9:38 AM

      #1. I. 8:00 AM
I am with a few other people who seem to be slightly younger than me and it almost seems as if I am leading them somewhere. We go to this short outdoor building that you might find on the side of a school. We walk into a short room that reminds me of a standard dining room or a meeting room with a long table in the center of the space with chairs around it. There is a door diagonally on the other side of the room that is open which I can see a group of 8 or so people in there in a similar room meeting. I recognize 2 or 3 of the people in the room. They are part of a competitive eating team of some sort. They see us and seem to be finishing up their meeting before they come out to greet us. One of the people that I am with is holding a plastic cup filled with what seems to be water. But there is something special about the water, as the person takes a Dorito and puts it in and shows me. I watch as the Dorito almost seems to turn invisible as it submerges in the water. This liquid makes it transparent and see through, though you can still sort of see the outline of the Dorito in the cup.

    5. Diving in water, a goal completed!

      Supps: G, C and 200mg L-theanine.

I think I had more lucids than this last night but I cant remember them. I only remember 2 of them and they are pretty cloudy right now. I looked at my clock after one of them and it said 7 then I woke up for the day at about 10, I usually don't get to sleep in this long.

So both of these revolved around work and I may have the dreams scrambled a bit but I think most of the information is there, a lot of detail is missing though.

Dream 1: I was part of an inspecting team and me and another were doing an inspection on a girl over some paperwork she had. As I was looking on I held my hand in the air and observed more fingers than I should have, I then brought it closer and saw yay 8. Lucid: I found my way outside and this might have been either dream so im not sure if this lucid went with this DILD or not. Before I opened the door to outside I cleared my mind and tried not to think of anything, since I was curious what it would look like outside. I opened it and I was right in the middle of a river, this river was really flowing and it was very rocky, pretty cool looking. I saw a boulder and levitated it, just for fun I guess. It seems like every dream I have had lately had some sort of telekinesis in it. So after I did that I flew upward. Again I may be mixing dreams but I flew straight up as fast as I could and got very high, the surrounding got very dark all of a sudden and now it was night. I stopped in the air and looked around. I saw a city with lights all around it and flew toward it as fast as I could. When I got to a tall building I flew straight down to see what was going on on ground level. As I touched down the dream started to fade. I saw the two buildings (or one building that had two separate bases), the street was lit by street street lights, but that is the last thing I remember.

Dream 2: I was at work once again and I was in an area I wasn't supposed to be in that was for the higher ups, I kind of cut through there. I was walking down a hall way and ran across a section that was flooded with red water and there was a rubber duckey floating on top of it. Did a RC Lucid: I got outside as quick as I could but was kind of lost in a maze of inside. As I headed up stairs I pictured a door to the outside and bam there it was. I got outside and I was in the wilderness I guess. There wasn't anyone around at all. I saw a hill and flew up it to the top, just gliding along the slope upward. I got to the top and I was kind of curious as to why there was no one around anywhere. This has been a theme in some of my most recent dreams, there have been no DCs really in them. At least my fully Lucid ones. I was kind of looking for some but could not see any, anywhere. So at the top of a hill I saw a lake, or maybe I thought of the lake and when I turned around there it was. This was one of my goals last night was to go in the water. I did some kind of weird dive into the water that was quite a ways below me and had my eyes closed when I hit. I felt the coolness of the water and it was very invigorating. It was almost as exciting as the first time I flew in a lucid dream. This excitement along with my eyes being closed woke me.

I did have another non-lucid vivid very memorable dream after these but wont type it on here. It had something to do with an underground bunker, mission impossible style I was invisible and trying to infiltrate. I remember thinking that it would be cool to set off an ICBM in a dream, so this one was semi-lucid.

    6. That's Impossible

      by , 06-01-2014 at 06:52 PM (balban's Dream Journal)
I was on a large plateau over looking a city scape. It was night time and I remember looking out over the lights of the city. I was performing intricate drum beats on a rather large, rectangular drum. It kind of looked like a bed with a tightened bed sheet. I was so focused on my part that I could see the bed sheet vibrating with every strike and it producing the amazing low tone. It was hypnotic in a sense watching the vibrations of the sheet match the vibrations in my chest.

I looked across from me and I noticed FL beating a drum as well. He was smiling and looking right back at me. Then he brought a joint up to his lips and inhaled deeply. Grinning as he exhaled, he told me that I shouldn't be performing without it. I just chuckled in disbelief that FL was smoking pot. It was/is unimaginable. (I would think this should have made me lucid, but alas... no)

Suddenly, I was kneeling in MD's room whispering to him that FL was smoking pot and how damn funny it was. We both laughed.

    7. 6/1/14 - Drunken Sailor

      by , 06-01-2014 at 02:24 PM
The first dream is a blur. All I remember is my mom and myself looking at a cat lying outside our window. He fell, but we heard him land on his feet. Another, smaller cat came up to us afterward.

I was half in a video game and half in real life. I was on a trip somewhere with my class. A couple of things happened. I rode a tiger in third person. When the trip ended, we had to go home on a boat, but it was a bunch of platforms that came one at a time. While I was waiting, I started singing "Drunken Sailor" and a few people joined in. Eventually, everyone was singing and dancing, but my feet kept acting like they do in dreams and didn't do what I wanted them to do.
    8. Telekinetic Endeavors

      by , 06-01-2014 at 12:01 PM
Morning of June 1, 2014. Sunday.

My dream opens in an unusual variation of our present home with some rotated or altered structures of our Barolin Street house (including the inside back steps over the bare ground in a larger enclosed porch-like area, but which continues southward into a more internal house-like area) as well as my sister’s old house on Loomis Street in America. The staircase area of the Barolin house is oriented in a different direction; to the south rather than the west; and there appears to be several bunk beds. The environment is somewhat like a boarding house for older ex-convicts with a slight prison atmosphere. I am not familiar with any of the males, and curiously, there is an Australian essence to the setting, which is fairly rare in my dreams even though I have lived here since February 9, 1994.

At one point, I am aware that the boarding house has a strange secret related to a potential local development of personal paranormal power of some sort. It seems that Ned Kelly was buried under the wooden staircase within the area of the boarding house that is enclosed but which has a dirt floor (similar to the enclosed back porch and utility area of the Barolin Street house). The beds are near that area, aligned west along one wall. I talk with a few other males. At another point, I look at the ground under the staircase to determine what could be there. There is an eerie association with the seeming story regarding the remains. There is evidence that a coffin is just under the ground’s surface as there is a very slight elevation of the dirt of one area. However, the story also may be that just the remains had been buried there with no coffin.

In another part of my dream, either a policeman or a convict serving as an in-house policeman and wearing a gun holster arrives. This area appears to be the back entrance from Loomis Street at first. He dismisses the idea of there being a body in the ground under the stairs and seems a bit annoyed by the apparent myth or “convict gossip”. There is also some sort of shift or “reset” where the man’s name is John (John Kelly?) instead of Ned Kelly. It may just be a man named John who has no infamy or history of anything notable. The other male denies anything unusual about the boarding house or the ground beneath it.

Over time though, I do develop a telekinetic power supposedly related to my being in the area; a common ability in dreams (but not previously associated with longer-term attainment or being in a certain location). This recurring dream act is done by mentally willing something from across the room straight into the palm of my hand with a sort of rubber-band-like effect. At a later point, there are unknown females in the boarding house which does now seem more like some sort of prison or supposed rehabilitation venue. They are all seated at a large picnic table inside the main area. One reminds me of a somewhat unkempt female factory coworker from years ago. She asks me if I can prove something regarding my abilities and I comply by willing a large object which is some sort of larger purse or oversized pencil bag (or for art supplies) across the room and into my hand in a swift manner. She then mentions of how her faith in the existence of benign spirits or angels has grown but I am not exactly sure why this act helped her. This may have something to do with the potential to escape from the scene by one person taking something from a guarded area, such as a key, perhaps.

There is some sort of awareness that the telekinetic ability also has something to do with magnetism and wearing some sort of magnetic bracelet (that was buried in the ground under the stairs?) even though the items I will into my hand from other areas of the room, including a glass of orange juice, are not actually magnetic (although the pencil-bag-like items do have a metal zipper).

Eventually, I am on my own, wandering around outside. I end up at a residential area with another unknown male but who may be a version of my brother Earl at a much younger age, as the house is vaguely like the one he lived in in Florida. He seems interested in my telekinetic ability but does not quite believe in its full potential. In one area outside near a patio and shed, he tests me with selecting a chosen item and sailing it quickly into my hand from a fair distance. These items seem mostly related to male cosmetic products, mostly all of the same brand, perhaps Avon, I think, because of some sort of play on “nova”.

I end up drawing a larger item into my hand which slides on its own across the table’s surface of which I think may be a piece of plywood. The fact that it slides somewhat instead of just leaping into my hand is somewhat frustrating, but not a dominant issue. It seems like a plastic pencil bag for school but about twice the size and may be some sort of travel kit. The indicated goal, however, was actually a smaller bottle of shampoo or something similar immediately to its left. I do not feel as if I have failed in the task, but may need to try a bit more to discern individual items for more telekinetic manipulation. The other male is still impressed and interested.
    9. Intruder alert to flying down a freeway

I had a pretty vivid and long non-lucid before this but wont journal that one.

Note this lucid was not supp induced but I was able to sleep in like most of my lucids in the past.

I was in a house, I guess it was my house but looked nothing like it. Apparently there was someone inside and I was looking for them. I heard a voice, I don't know if it was in a headset or just a magical voice, but they were kind of doing a play by play of what I was doing I guess. I remember walking toward the bathroom and the voice saying "The alarm system says there is motion on the first floor"; which I thought was stupid cause I was walking on the first floor. I had my gun out and was walking around with it drawn ready to shoot at whatever had broken in. I looked at my gun and saw there was pink spray particles on it, I found this odd and did a RC. Lucid: As soon as I became lucid the whole area lightened up quite a bit. I almost felt drunk and non coordinated and felt like the dream was really going collapse. I grabbed a few things and then I did telekinesis on a blanket to further solidify that I was in fact in a dream. It lifted with ease. I was next to a patio door and decided to go out it, I was in the mood to fly. I kind of sloppily went out the door and stumbled into some stacked boxes on the back patio. The yard was huge and I could see a large field across a street and it was filled with RVs/motor homes. I then took to the air quite easily and flew a bit toward the RV field, then saw a street. The cars on the street were all dark color and their headlights were on. I began flying against the flow of traffic. I wanted to fly through one of the cars. For some reason I just got a little bit closer and closer but could not get down to the level of the cars. Oh also it seemed like all the cars had big sheets of paper on their windshields, like huge flyers I guess. So anyways every time I missed a car I gasped for air, after I flew over a couple more cars it seemed like the gasps got louder and louder. I am not sure if I was doing this in my waking body or not but I thought I was so I woke myself up.

    10. Eating tree sap?

      by , 05-31-2014 at 10:44 PM
I am standing in my front yard near a tree and I notice a large amount of tree sap on the side of the tree. I suddenly get the urge to eat it so I take a chunk of it off the tree and I eat it. I chew it slowly and it's really delicious so I eat more. Then my next door neighbor comes over and starts eating some and he's like, mmmmmm this is so good.

    11. Nepalese!

      by , 05-31-2014 at 05:44 PM (balban's Dream Journal)
I was driving in a parking lot, looking for a space to park. SM was in the passenger seat looking for a space as well. We finally found a space in the rear of the parking lot near a row of what looked like town houses. I don't remember getting out of the car or walking through the parking lot.

My next recollection was that I was now in the rear of a rather large banquet room (the kind like you would find in a hotel). There was no carpet and the room wasn't really all that decorated. I just remember the stage at the front and the 30 or 40 sets of tables and chairs. It felt like I was in the process of setting up music equipment, not on the stage but in the back of the room. I had it in my mind that I was going to play there.

I have vague memories of actually playing and some of the people I saw there, but I don't know if that is just me adding to the dream or that it was part of the dream. Basically, I don't really remember the banquet.

The next recollection was me walking through the parking lot. It was a nice day. Warm. Blue skies. I ran into BR and his wife who were shuffling thing around in the trunk of their car. They called me over and asked me to look at something. BR's wife handed me a piece of paper and somehow I got the impression that it was their kid's homework. I don't really think she said that it was, but I just got the idea that it was. She pointed to the answer for question #7 and asked me what language it was. I looked at it for a few moments, the words weren't all that clear. Then they came into focus and somehow I recognized it a "Nepalese". BR looked at me. He was kind of stunned and I think a little angry. "Right" he sighed and took the paper from me. I shrugged and started walking toward my car.

Weird thing was that I saw my car and must have walked right passed it. The next thing I remember was thinking, "damn... I walked right passed my car." I turned around to see how far I was from it and realized it was dark. Night time! I saw my car, it wasn't that far away.

I put a guitar case into the trunk and realized that I had more stuff back at the banquet hall. I remember being concerned about my stuff being there and thinking someone was going to steal something. Then, bam! I was in the banquet hall standing right in front of the stage in front. All my music stuff was there. So was ES, whom I haven't seen in at least 20 years. He was still a kid, probably around 13 or so. He was talking to me, but I don't recall the conversation. I just remember him talking.

I looked at my stuff and felt a little worried because there was too much for me to take in one trip. The thought of having to walk back and forth kind of annoyed me. I just remember standing there wondering how I could get it all in one trip.

    12. 31-5-14 (Big)Cat-dog and A Trip to the Cinema

      by , 05-31-2014 at 03:00 AM
I am just going to go on record and state that most of my dreams of late have been in a post-apocalyptic dystopian setting.
I was walking down the street accompanied by someone, I am not actually sure that I knew who they were, and we were looking to buy some food (although I knew that I already had a brown paper bag in my backpack with something to eat in it). We then boarded a bus, I looked around and I noticed that it was very dirty, run down and most of it was destroyed. I saw that most of the windows were broken but it still functioned so I sat down in the back row. I opened my backpack, pulled out the brown paper bag and looked inside. I pulled out a sausage roll and a vegetarian pastie and I will admit that I felt a bit disappointed because I didn't want to eat either of those things. I looked through the windowless window and realised that I had to get off of the bus at the next stop and as it slowed to a halt, I got up and moved toward the door, unfortunately the door was stuck fast and wouldn't open so the guy I was hanging with and I had to make an improvised exit through one of the broken windows.
After climbing out through the window, I started walking towards the rear of the bus to cross the road when I saw a man and woman arguing. She was a tall woman with brown hair and she was holding a dog lead. He was a shorter fellow, shorter than her and rotund in appearance. He wore a button up shirt that was unbuttoned over a brown T-shirt that had some writing on it. Not much unlike the guy at the end of the Fatboy Slim 'Right here, Right now' film clip.
I didn't know why they were arguing but I realised as I got closer that she was unhappy about the writing on his shirt. It was then that I saw it, the writing said something along the lines of "food is scarce, pets aren't" and there was an outline of a little dog betwixt a knife and a fork, as I drew up next to them, at the point where I needed to cross the road, I saw the woman's dog for the first time. It was a little ankle biter of a dog, it's front half was brown and it's back half was like a leopard skin print. I thought it was the strangest thing I had ever seen.
I crossed the road and got to the building where I was headed. I opened my backpack and up until this point I had no idea why I was going there but I suddenly 'remembered' that I was there to see a movie in the cinema but I couldn't seem to understand why there was a cinema underneath a football stadium. There was a game on at that very minute, it was a night match between the Essendon Bombers and the Collingwood Magpies. Neither are teams that I like very much, so I am not certain about that either. I remember thinking: "How am I going to hear the movie over all of the cheering of the football fans?"
I walked into the cinema and sat down in a seat in the row against the back wall, which for some reason only had three seats in it and all of the rest of the rows had different amounts of seats that were haphazardly placed at seemingly random intervals. I pulled out the food out of my backpack and settled in to watch a movie.

    13. Singing to the Anasazi

      by , 05-30-2014 at 10:39 PM
      Dream:

I was hiking with Susan E and Marsha in Coyote Gulch. We see a side canyon and decide to explore it. We had been looking for old Indian Ruins. As we start up the canyon we suddenly see that there are signs of Native Americans. But instead of old ruins we find that we have stumbled upon living Anasazi Indians. I was uncertain whether we have transported back in time or if we had found a civilization that has been undiscovered by modern people until this very moment.

I pause. I don't want to disturb anyone. To continue on we would be walking right through the middle of their village. But Susan keeps walking past some of the dwellings and to an alcove in the side of the canyon. I cautiously follow and so does Marsha. Suddenly Susan starts singing. It is a haunting Native American type song. It is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard.. Marsha then pulls out her Native American wooden flute and starts to play along. I then kneel and use my legs for a drum. The Anasazi people seem just as enthralled as I am with the beauty of the music.

The brief thought goes through my mind that I wish I were recording this with my camera.

This dream was inspired by a recent trip to Coyote Gulch where were visited old Anasazi ruins.

    14. My Journey to Lucidity, Part II

      by , 05-30-2014 at 07:41 PM
So it has been almost two months since my second brief experience with lucidity. Perhaps because I moved to a new place and now sleep in a new bed with new noises and a new schedule, I've hardly been able to "drift" at all, to drift into that floating, buzzing sensation in the void, at the WILD gate to lucid dreaming.

But a week ago I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time in a while. Perhaps this was a sign that transitional states of awareness were becoming possible again. And now I have fallen back into the old sleep pattern of waking up several times throughout the night. It has been a familiar friend since childhood, but it only comes in phases.

Since then I have again experienced the "drifting" sensations a few times, but never leading to actual sleep.

Last night, however, was of note because of the different-than-usual drifting experiences. I was waking up all through the night, my dream thoughts carrying over into my waking thoughts, a continuous stream of thought carried by a discontinuous state of consciousness. Every waking period I would have racing thoughts and vivid visions, some pertaining to my actual life and goals, some completely awesome works of the imagination. In this state I even thought up a few new musical compositions in record time and was quite pleased with them.

I actually drifted a few times as I attempted to consciously fall asleep. Usually this lead to a clear tingling sensation as I was suspended in a refined blackness. But this night I was constantly barraged by an onslaught of visions and thoughts during every drifting experience. At no point was I not fully thinking and envisioning lots of things. At no point was there blackness or anything remotely resembling emptiness. The visions were sufficient to distract me from my usual problems- breathing bothering me, or being consciously excited by the drifting. But I still was subconsciously excited by the drifting, to the point that I would be breathing heavily, heart pounding, for "no reason", and I would be snapped back into full wakefulness, but barely noticing that because the whole process was in the back of the mind while in the foreground I studied the visions and thoughts being played, none lasting for long before the next took its place, like a reel of movies on super-fast-forward. Occasionally I would think, "Maybe I'm actually dreaming now? This does seem a lot like a dream, and hardly like the reality I usually experience, yet nothing here is inconceivable for one of my psychology. I guess it's time for a reality check." And every reality check (trying to breathe while pinching my nose) would reveal that I was, indeed, awake.

While the continuous stream of visions is fascinating, I find the most interesting point to be how I was still barred from achieving a WILD because the drifting experience was too exciting for me to fall asleep, even though I was not being consciously exciting, only noticing the symptoms of that excitement (heavy breathing, heart pounding).

Today has also been strange. I feel as if I haven't fully awakened. Sometimes I perceive reality, but I do not perceive reality as being reality. Also, my mind is running faster and further than it usually does. Strange how that works.

So... interesting experiences. Perhaps I have more hope of DILDing than WILDing.

      Regardless,
      To the future we go!

    15. 5/29 & 5/30 DILDs I Have Two Sets of Wings?

      by , 05-30-2014 at 05:54 PM
Real rough and brief notes, *mainly for self...

      5/29/14*
lady bleeding from hand. OMG you're still bleeding? There was so much blood on the floor as I go to help and she almost passes out. Do you have insurance? (She probably needs blood infusion I think to myself). American Beauty bloody scene last night..? 2 others helping in hospital or clinic-like place and I am holding someone's baby....hers? I am playing mouth games with the baby who is so cute maybe 3 months and it gets the baby smiling. I blow into baby's mouth and puff up her(?) cheeks. This seemed to be a significant dream for me related to stuff going on, especially the woman bleeding and maybe the baby represented my new personal developments./
CJ big black Ford truck 905??. CJ=clara jane? /
Son driving. Another car backs into bicyclist they seem to fight around the accident. heading to sons middle school but we stop short to walk the rest away but he forgot something in the car of course. I say I will go back to get the car we should have parked at the school anyway. I realize as going back for the car as everything turns dark that it is a dream and push my way through the darkness and fly. Then I am face down floating above my bed attempting a motion based deild before I notice I am above the bed. The motion is one where I seem to have two sets of wings but first I was planning on pulling down my shorts and doing something sexual but I wonder if I might act that out in bed (IWL) and my wife would see. She recently wanted me to stop LDing. Anyway, the kinetic motion of the two sets of wings was incredible (alternating flaps, front set and then back set, very odd feeling) while floating above my bed and attempting to create a new scene from it but woke up. 154

5/30/14* chase? Attempt float down from high in lobby? Seemed semi-lucid here but recall poor. /Hotel...race to book room *at hotel. / (Success related to meeting last night). / 540:M from S thinks she's in love. Other couple doubts. I'm changing clothes in same room as couple...guy goes heads into bathroom...I'll change quickly while he's in the bathroom in front of the girlfriend. /
      * I go outside to check looks like it'll be nice sunset. Odd tree shaped clouds...mushroom clouds? Nah...but I should go pick up son(@school?). Rushing back home I realize this is a dream and I can just fly...I float up over the house on my right and onto my block (weird version of my neighborhood?). I see a group of people out on a front patio/deck and fly up over to them and one female is sitting in a skirt with her legs spread and I am thinking about having some fun. I hear my alarm going off IWL while still in the dream and consider for a few moments if I should ignore it for a little while but realize that I need to get up and drop off my son and go ahead and wake up (or maybe would have anyway) and found the alarm actually going off (it is a gentle one). Not really trying anything tonight but to sleep due to game latter in day, but some late awakenings added awareness I'm sure. 155
