Note: Today I fell asleep without any definitive plans of what to do in a dream, just a general idea to head back to one of the Harry Potter worlds, either the one where I'm a student or the one where I teach, and see what is happening there next. I think it might have something to do with my vague plans that when I fell asleep, instead of slipping right into a WILD, I went into a dream in a kind of semi-lucid state… I recognized my location and everything, but it took me a few minutes to realize that meant I was dreaming… I am in the Slytherin dorm common room, sitting in one of the chairs near the fireplace. There are a few other people in the room, none of them look particularly familiar to me, and none of them are paying any attention to me at all, so I do the same to them. I am trying to remember what I am supposed to do now, do I need to go to classes? Do I need to find someone to talk to or help in some way? Is it time for another tournament challenge? None of those sound right, but the strangeness does finally remind me that I am dreaming. I do a quick RC to confirm that it is a dream and then I become lucid. So now I am lucid and sitting in the Slytherin dorm common room, but I still have no idea what I need to be doing, so I figure maybe I should just go with the flow. I need to find someone in my own year so if they have a class, I will have class, too. I am watching for a familiar face when I hear a voice speaking in my head, someone is contacting me telepathically. The voice is familiar, and I soon realize it is MoSh. He says he needs me to come get him out of the psychiatric ward of the hospital… MoSh is in the loony bin? On the funny farm? In the nut house? In the… MoSh interrupts those thoughts and says yes, but stop making fun of it and come get him out I ask what hospital he is in, he says he is in St. Mungo's, so I figure I should leave right away to go get MoSh. I go up to the room where my bed is, close the curtains around the bed, and then when I am thus hidden I open a portal while focused on finding MoSh and I step through. I exit the portal into a hospital type setting, it seems no one was looking at me when I appeared, but there is a woman right in front of me that turns around and is shocked to see me there. She says she really wishes people would apparate to the lobby area instead of just popping up wherever they felt like it. I apologize for startling her, saying it's actually my first time to go that far. She looks at me and says she's surprised I can apparate, I don't look old enough. I say I came to visit a friend, I give her MoSh's name, and she recognizes who I am talking about. She points down the hall I am in to a door on the right side, about half way down. She says he is in there, room 348. So I go down the hall to the right door where I knock, someone inside says come in, so I open the door and go inside. The first thing I see is MoSh sleeping in a bed, then I notice there is a man in green scrubs in the room, he says he had been expecting someone else, who am I? I say I came to see MoSh, what is wrong with him? The doctor says he seems to have had a curse put on him that made him extremely aggressive. The doctor says MoSh is sleeping peacefully now, but considering the number of stunning spells it had taken to knock him out, it's amazing that he is even alive. He said that many stunning spells would knock out a brontosaurus! I tell the man I am a healer, so I will heal MoSh, though he eyes me with doubt. He says they haven't found the counter curse yet, so they called in a specialist, he is expecting her to arrive any moment. I go over to MoSh, ignoring him completely, and I use the song spell Touch My Heart on MoSh. This serves to both stabilize his energy, it had been unstable which would account for the violence, and it restores his energy so he wakes up. He gets up from the bed, clearly wanting to leave St. Mungo's, the doctor says he can't allow that… I tell him MoSh is completely healed, but they still insist on doing a scan with a strange animal… before saying he is completely cured of the curse. Now the doctor is just stunned into silence by the fact I healed MoSh on one try. MoSh says he has things to attend to, and he leaves the room. I am about to follow MoSh to see what is going to happen when the doctor stops me, he says there are so many people there that could benefit from my healing powers… he asks if I won't consider staying on at St. Mungo's as a healer, he has never seen anything like what I did for MoSh. I tell him I have to go, I don't know what might happen… he interrupts me and asks if I will at least take a look at a couple of their most severe cases, he feels so bad for the boy who comes in religiously to see them even though there is never any improvement, he says usually family stops coming to the long term care ward once enough time goes by with no improvement. But not this one, every weekend he is here, looking for any response from the two of them… every week the Mr. Longbottom would remain completely unresponsive, while Mrs. Longbottom would… The mention of the Longbottoms has finally got my attention, I turn back and ask if he means Alice and Frank Longbottom, being visited by their son Neville? He hesitates, then he says yes, do I know them? I say not well, but I have heard of them. At that point I feel I have to at least take a look at them to see if maybe I can help… so I agree, I figure if MoSh needs me again, he will contact me again. The doctor seems very grateful that I have agreed to meet the Longbottoms, and he leads me to an elevator which goes to a different level, though I can't quite tell if it is up or down from where I was before… He leads me down a hall to a room labeled 657 and opens it, showing me inside. There are two people in the room, the man, Frank, is sitting in a chair and staring out a window but seeming to see nothing. The woman, Alice, is sitting in a chair beside one of the beds and staring into nothingness. She looks very tense as if she is expecting something to come out of that nothingness and attack her. The doctor says they don't respond at all on their own, they sleep when put to bed, they chew and swallow when fed, they do their… um… business… when led to a toilet… but they are always gazing off into some world only they can see, never even acknowledging the person tending to their needs. He says it is rather chilling the way they seem to look through you even though you're right in front of them. One exception is that Alice responds to her son enough to grab some piece of trash to give him, handing it over as if it was a gift of great treasure… I approach Alice and look into her eyes, they look blank and empty, except for a spark of light to indicate there is still someone in there. I am just following my instincts, I find I have taken hold of both of her hands in mine, and I am using the song by Evanescence entitled My Last Breath. "Hold on to me, luv, you know I can't stay long… All I wanted to say is I love you and I'm not afraid… Can you hear me? Can you feel me in your heart?" I continue with the song, and as the song went on, I know I saw a change, she was looking at me instead of through me… "I know you hear me, I can see it in your eyes…" My lyrics aren't exactly like the song, changed a bit to fit the situation, the song finishes, and I don't feel that repeating it now will help any more. I move away from her and she is focused on me for a bit longer before zoning back into her own private world again. But that is still enough to make the doctor extremely happy, he says that's the most response anyone other than her son has gotten out of her… He asks me to please try again, I tell him I don't think more than once will help now… he starts to protest, I tell him I'll come back later, when I feel it will help more. I repeat the process on Frank, who seems to only slightly respond… if I hadn't seen Alice respond first, I might not have noticed his response. I have to reassure the doctor several times that I will come back, I tell him it will probably take several sessions to make much progress, but he finally stops trying to prevent me from leaving. I have been away from Hogwarts too long, I want to make sure everything is ok with MoSh… I go to a hidden area to open a portal back to my bed in the Slytherin dorm, where I open the curtains and leave quickly, hoping nothing happened when I was not there. I focus on where MoSh is, and I see that he is in the great hall down below, so I head there as quickly as I can, it seems I am just a little late for dinner, did I miss the entire day of classes? I sit down at the Slytherin table beside Draco, then I look around for MoSh, figuring now I can do that safely without anyone noticing. There is a fly in the room… I use the insect, looking through its many faceted eyes to try to find MoSh. He's not in the room! I am getting very nervous about that, so much so that Draco asks me what is wrong… I say nothing, he says I look extremely tense, and he hadn't seen me around all day. I tell him I had things to attend to, more looking for MoSh, and then I see him! He is up at the front of the room with Dumbledore, he looks fine, his energy looks stable, I am finally able to relax… no… what about Asuka? I look more through the fly and spot Asuka at the table, she actually looks happy, so maybe things were ok. Now Dumbledore was talking in front of the room, I realize he is giving MoSh an award of some kind… awesome! He says MoSh revealed some kind of corruption right within Hogwarts… I see a reaction from Moody when Dumbledore says that… then Dumbledore continues to say there was someone who had been interfering in the wizard tournament… more reaction from Moody… and that the person behind it had been Lucius Malfoy… Moody relaxed visibly and took a long drink from his flask. Dumbledore says thanks to MoSh, Hogwarts is safe. Draco is immediately pissed off, he jumps out of his seat and starts yelling all sorts of expletives and insults, but no one apart from those of us right next to him at the Slytherin table notice because the rest of the room is cheering for MoSh, none more than Asuka. Draco says MoSh is going to pay for that, he pulls his wand out, I grab him by his wand arm before he can go and throw a curse or something, I tell him not to do something stupid. Draco says that piece of shit is the reason his father got arrested, his mother had told him Lucius had gotten taken off to Azkaban, but now he knew who was responsible. I wanted to tell Draco that Voldemort was responsible for giving the orders, and then Lucius himself was responsible for going along with it… but I knew that wouldn't help at all. I pull Draco down beside me and tell him I have a plan to get his father out of this mess, one that doesn't involve Draco getting expelled… so give me a chance to put that into action, and don't go doing something stupid that wouldn't help anyone in the end. He is clearly curious about this plan I said I have, so he finally sits down, though he is still seething in anger, I am trying to stabilize his energy, not getting anywhere with that… I would have to use a spell, too obvious here. After dinner is over, everyone gets up and heads out of the dining hall. MoSh has drawn quite a crowd of admirers now, so much that Asuka is having trouble getting to him, so I help her clear a path so she is standing beside MoSh. He looks to be fine now, I check his energy one more time, and his energy also looks fine, whatever had been wrong with him seems to be cured now. So I head back to the Slytherin dorms, where I find a pissed off Draco pacing in the common room, there are a few broken items on the ground, it seems he has been throwing stuff, and most of the people in the room are keeping their distance. I see no reason to stay away, so I go right over to him with the goal of getting him to calm down. He wants to know what my plan is to get back at that shit who is responsible for sending his dad to Azkaban… I say that's not the plan, the plan is to help his father get out of that place and make sure he's safe. I add that Voldemort is no doubt not pleased at Lucius for getting caught, so the law might not be the only thing Lucius needs to be kept safe from… Draco is staring at me as if I am insane, saying I shouldn't dare speak the dark lord's name… so I repeat it several more times, "Voldemort, Voldemort, Voldemort, Voldemort, Voldemort! I'll say it as many times as I want!" A few other students heard me saying Voldemort repeatedly, and are staring at me now. I tell Draco I'll figure out the final details of the plan and then see to it in the morning, I need to sleep on it. I go up to my dorm and my bed, and when I get there I wake up.
Note: Tonight is the first challenge of the tournament at Hogwarts, so this is my main plan, to go participate in the event. MoSh is coming for that, of course, so we will see how the first challenge goes. For now we will be working in teams for each house, so that means I will be working with Draco, MoSh will be working with Harry and Hermione. There are two other schools visiting, and each of them have four houses, two contestants from each house, also working as teams this time. I'm not sure how many challenges will be done as teams before it's everyone for themselves. That was my only goal, so I focused on that as I slipped into a WILD… I am in bed, in my bed at Hogwarts. I am immediately aware of that by the feel of the bed, and the sounds going on around me, it seems everyone else is already up and moving around but I have been sleeping in. I get out of bed and dressed, then open the curtains to see what is going on out there. The other girls are talking to each other, and they seem happy to see me, all of them asking how I am doing, if I am nervous about the challenge, Marie says I am lucky to be able to ditch classes today, Shanara says she can't wait to find out more about the challenge, Andie says she knows Draco and I can win… I am not really sure what they are talking about, but I figure I will find out in due time, so for now I just go with it. As the four of us go down to the common room, my mind is clearing up, the last of my sleepiness is passing, I think it is odd that I am sleepy after waking up in a lucid dream… When we get down to the common room I see Draco there, it looks like he has been waiting for me, my memory is completely clear now. I remember that the first challenge of the Tri-School Wizard Tournament is today, and I will be doing it with Draco since we are from the same house. Draco has a strange look on his face, but he greets me ok, and says all of the contestants are to meet near the Quidditch field… that was something I hadn't thought of at the school yet… Quidditch! Is there not going to be Quidditch teams this year? Maybe the season just hasn't started yet… So after going to the great hall to get some breakfast, Draco and I go out by the Quidditch field. When Draco and I reach the Quidditch field I see that McGonagall is there, and she is waiting for the contestants to gather. Several of them I recognize, others I don't, though. Viktor Krum is there, he doesn't look to bright, but that could be decieving… One of them I recognize as Fleur Delacour, Hermione is there looking nervously up at the castle, I recognize some of the others as fellow Hogwarts students and the others I am assuming are from the other schools. MoSh shows up, it seems he has appeared from nowhere, Hermione is glad to see him, she asks him where Harry is, he is running late. MoSh said maybe Harry is still getting his flu shot. Hermione gives MoSh a strange look, says she hasn't heard anything about a flu shot, but she doesn't take the thought any further as Harry shows up at this point. Finally everyone has gathered, Hermione is asking Harry where he has been, but Harry doesn't have a chance to answer before McGonagall starts talking. She says we have the morning to make any finally plans, but we should be made aware that no items can be taken into the maze. She says no wands can be used during the challenge. She adds that any items found on the course can be used, some of them may have magical properties, but we would have to know what to do with it, of course. She points at an amulet one of the students from another school is wearing, and says she sees it has magical properties, so she will have to leave it behind. She points at my Witchblade bracelet and says the same goes for that. It seems both of us are reluctant to give our items up, McGonagall is a bit impatient, she says she will make sure nothing happens to either of them, and they will be waiting for us at the other end of the challenge course. I finally give her my Witchblade, figuring I can summon it back if needed, and the other girl hands over her amulet. McGonagall tells us to meet back by the Quidditch field at noon, lunch would be provided, then we would start at 12:30 sharp. So don't be late, she looks at Harry when she says that last part. On this map: MoSh, Harry, and Hermione are the red line, Draco and I are the green line. So Draco and I look over the map one more time to plan out our course, we are not allowed to have the map in the challenge, so we will have to memorize the path we want to take, and we meet back at the Quidditch field right on time. Everyone else is there on time, too, so the challenge begins on time. For a short distance it seems everyone is going in the same direction, but finally we split up and head in our own ways. Draco and I are following the green path on this map, while MoSh, Harry, and Hermione are on the red path. The map shows a lot, so I will just hit the important parts. The first darker green area on the map is a vine covered region, as Draco and I pass through there, we collect some long pieces of vine that look strong, and take them with us. That way when we reach the ravine, I am able to tie a stone to the end of the vine and then throw it over the ravine. The ravine isn't really that wide, but it is really deep. The rock proves unnecessary, though, the vine has a magical property and it plants itself right where it lands. Placing the other end of the vine on this side makes the vine plant itself here, too, and the vine across the ravine goes tight. I tell Draco we can just use the vine to cross… he doesn't seem to like it much… I take a second vine and throw it over, using a rock just so I can aim better… and a little TK helps… so I land this one on a slightly higher spot, place the second end… then once more, now the three vines form a triangle, a bridge, with two vines to hold onto and a third to walk on. Draco is looking at the bridge not far along the ravine, and says we could just use that… I point out that someone else is already there, and there are small specks bombarding them, apparently the enemies Draco's father had warned him about, warning him against taking what appeared to be the easy route. I wonder if that's MoSh, Harry, and Hermione… I see there are three of them, and I am sure Hermione would not want to cross anywhere but at the bridge since she is scared of heights. Draco and I use my vine bridge and cross, heading into the forest on the other side. The forest is deliberately made confusing, but we don't get lost. We soon reach the other side of the forest where there is a large rock there, I am thinking up there is a good spot to survey the land from. Harry, MoSh, and Hermione show up right after us, Draco makes some remark to Harry about being behind already, it's a good thing he and I are nice enough to let them catch up… after all, we don't want it to be too easy. I tell him to leave me out of that. Harry says he is surprised Draco made it this far, and adds that he and I probably cheated by using magic to get to the rock first. I look over at Harry, but all that comes out of my mouth is, "Excuse you?" While they are getting into that, MoSh is climbing the rock to get a view of the area. I join MoSh in the climbing of the rock, not wanting to deal with Draco and Harry arguing, MoSh and I vent about our partners… MoSh says Harry thinks he knows everything, I say Draco is about as mature as a two year old… We are almost to the top when a monkey about the size of a human jumps from one of the trees and grabs at MoSh. MoSh throws the monkey back to the ground, where it lands right between Harry and Draco, effectively breaking their argument up. The monkey gets up and looks around at us, but MoSh isn't done with him yet. MoSh jumps off of the rock, grabs the monkey, and slams him into a tree… then slams him into the ground a few more times, stomps on him for good measure, then throws him up into the sky and over the forest where it disappears from sight. Harry, Hermione, Draco, and I are now all staring at MoSh, not entirely sure of what to say, apparently that monkey had really pissed MoSh off… MoSh starts climbing the rock again, Harry comes up behind him and grabs his shirt to get his attention. "Are you…" Harry starts, then MoSh jumps on Harry and slams him into a tree. I am asking MoSh why he is attacking his own teammate, it makes no sense, is he ok? I jump off the rock and help Hermione pull MoSh off of Harry, Draco is laughing his ass off, saying if they keep that up, there's no way they will win… Gryffindor will be the first house out of the running. Hermione tells Draco to shut up, MoSh has stopped trying to attack Harry, but now he feels like he has a fever… he is sick? Hermione shoots up emergency sparks with her wand… we have them in case of emergency but are not permitted to use them… and soon a couple of people swoop down on brooms, they carry both Harry and MoSh off. Hermione says she wants to stay and finish the challenge, there's no way she's letting Slytherin come in first… then she looks at me, and says she means no offense to me. We leave the rock and head in different directions, Hermione heads off to the east, Draco and I are heading west. We come to the river we had been told about, and it is rapids, but they don't look too bad. I use the last of my vines to tie together some wood that Draco and I collect, and make it into a raft… surprisingly, it floats. Yay! Draco and I use the raft to ride the rapids and take the shortcut by steering off onto the right fork in the river. Not only have we avoided having to do the extra climbing to get past some small mountains, but we are moving much faster than we would be if we were on foot. As the river veers back off to the west we pull our raft over to the shore, where Draco and I get out. We follow a path that leads up to some steep sheer mountains, there is a steep and difficult path that goes over the mountain, and there is a longer but easy path that goes around the mountain… or there is a tunnel that passes through the mountain, and an easier path that goes over. Draco and I choose the tunnel that goes through the mountain, it is well hidden, but Draco had it marked on his map, and we remember where it is. So with that little extra short cut we get through the mountain and out the other side first. The two of us are greeted with an array of cheering and booing… rude people booing… shortly later, Hermione shows up, and stares at us, she says she doesn't know how we managed to get there first. She seems very out of breath, close to collapsing, but Draco and I are hardly winded after walking the mostly level path through the mountain. There are judges there, all of the members of the judge's panel, I see Umbridge there, she is glaring over at us, she accuses Hermione of cheating since there is no way one person could have made it through. I ask another of the judges how MoSh and Harry are, I am told that the two of them are going to be fine, Harry just had some bruises, MoSh seems to have the flu, he was most likely a bit delirious when he attacked Harry. I ask how MoSh could have the flu… The woman I am speaking to says she doesn't know, but Madam Palmphrey will be more than able to get them both back to full health. I feel like I am going to wake up soon, so I tell the others that I am going to the hospital wing to check on MoSh, then I leave. If I make it to the Hospital wing, then I am not remembering it now, because this is where my memories end.

Note: Plans for tonight included going to Hogwarts, MoSh wants to train for the tournament and also make sure Asuka is ok, he said she doesn't seem to have her memories completely back. MoSh seemed to have an idea Draco might know something about the memory spell that was used on Asuka. My main goal is just to have another reliable way to become lucid other than using WILDs, maybe I could make a go of using FAs? Not sure right now, but I had the plan in my mind as I fell asleep. I am in the fields around Hogwarts, I am there with MoSh and Asuka, and even though I am at Hogwarts, I am not lucid. I look over at the castle as if it is the most normal thing in the world, MoSh says he wants to find Vegeta, and this also seems like the most normal thing in the world. So MoSh, Asuka, and I start looking around the grounds, trying to find where Vegeta might be, and we finally meet up with him behind the castle. Vegeta looks over at us and greets us, he asks if we are looking to train for the tournament. MoSh says he is, and Asuka might train some, too, but I say I am looking to see if I can find anything out about the memory spell that was used on Asuka. While it is possible that no one in the castle knows anything about what happened to Asuka, it is also possible that someone does. I intend to start in Slytherin, with Draco, because even if he had nothing to do with it directly, it seems likely Lucius would know something about it and would probably have blabbed about it around his son. Vegeta shakes his head disapprovingly, he says not all of the challenges can be won by pure power, some of them require specific skills, such as martial arts, since no other powers would be allowed in that part. I tell him I know that, but it seems that finding out who is after Asuka is more important than winning some tournament. MoSh doesn't want me to leave until I make sure Asuka's memory is fully restored, which I'm not sure what he expects me to do about it while I am awake, so I play the Metallica song "The Memory Remains" and focus the energy on Asuka, I say that should have the desired effect. MoSh talks to Asuka a bit, and then says she seems to be remembering everything. So as they go to train with Vegeta, I leave MoSh and Vegeta training and I enter the castle through one of the back entrances, going straight to some stairs that lead down into the dungeon area. Now there is a problem, I can't remember where I am going, I can't think of where I was here before… except in a dream. So far I have been in Hogwarts and seen Vegeta and MoSh and talked about helping Asuka without realizing I was dreaming, but now I guess things are coming together, and I finally do a reality check, at which point I determine I am definitely dreaming. So now I remember where I need to go to get to the Slytherin dorms, and I head there right away. I make a couple wrong turns, the dungeon hallways all seem to look the same, but I finally stumble on the hidden entrance to the dorms and I go inside. There are a few people there, some of them are studying, others are chatting, I spot Draco kicked back on a couch with Crabb and Goyle sitting in chairs next to him, and they are muttering amongst themselves. Well, the easiest way to get information will be to be friendly with Draco, to get him to talk about what he knows, to share secrets. I know that shouldn't be too hard, if he knows anything, he often likes to brag on what he knows. And really, I just need to get him thinking about the subject to read the rest of it out of his mind. Draco looks over from the couch and sees me at the entryway, so I wave to him in a friendly manner, and Draco smiles, which makes Crabb and Goyle look at each other strangely. I take the smile as an invitation and I go over and say hello to Draco. Draco is looking at me with a strange look on his face now, then he turns to Crabb and Goyle, asking them if there wasn't a homework assignment they needed to get done. Both of them say no at the same time, Draco says yes they do, that is unless they want to flunk out and prove that what people are saying about them is true. Goyle asks what people are saying, Draco says the general believe is that the two of them have a cumulative IQ that is lower than most rocks. It sounds to me like Draco agrees with that thought, though he doesn't say so. He says Crabb and Goyle had better get the homework done if they want to pass. Both of them finally leave, heading down to the boys' dorm, probably to get their stuff. So now I am sitting in the Slytherin common room with Draco, chatting about random stuff for a bit. It seems all Draco wants to talk about is possible way to make Harry Potter look bad, which bores me rather quickly. I comment that if Potter is such a loser, maybe Draco needs to train so he can kick his ass in the tournament… after all, then three entire schools, will see Harry Potter compete and come out with an epic fail. Draco looks like he is about to say something, but he stops. Draco starts talking about dirty tricks he can pull to ensure Potter loses. I say that if Draco makes Harry look bad by cheating, he will have to keep quiet about who caused it or get in trouble. But if it is done by tournament rules, everyone will see who really is the better wizard when Draco beats Harry without playing dirty. Draco hesitates, I can tell he is thinking what if he doesn't win… I comment that I thought he had the skill to beat Harry. He says of course he can beat Potter without using any tricks! I say that then tricks are a pointless risk, because if he is discovered, he will be disqualified from the tournament and end up being a laughing stalk… which would make Harry look even better. So since Draco has the skills, why take the pointless risk? "And I heard you mention having Crabb and Goyle help you with your plans…" I say, "Is there any other way to ensure that the plan fails and you get caught? If those two were any slower, they'd be going backwards." Draco has to admit that is true, and finds the comment a bit amusing. He asks about me helping in his plans… I say I will help him train, after all, we both want the winner to be from Slytherin… but let's do it on even ground, so no one can dig up dirt to make Draco look bad and Harry look like a victim. Draco says Potter will be revealed as the loser he is… and that Granger girl, too, the stupid mudblood… And it seems like Draco is actually considering beating Harry by playing fair, or at least by the rules. I figure it is time to find out about Asuka, now that it won't seem I came over to see Draco just for that, which might have made him shut me out. "Speaking of pranks and dirty tricks," I say, "Did you hear about that girl from Gryffindor, Asuka? Someone completely wiped out her memories." Draco replies with, "I hadn't heard," but he doesn't seem interested. I am trying to probe into his mind to find out what he might know about the situation. I ponder for a bit, then, "Who did it?" Draco immediately replies, "How would I know?" I say I didn't expect him to, it was a rhetorical question. I am still probing at Draco's mind about the subject, and now I am seeing that Draco had nothing to do with the situation, but he does know that Lucius had something to do with it. I comment I was just thinking it was strange for something like that to happen right in Hogwarts. Draco says he doesn't think it's a big deal, I comment no one was hurt, and her memories are back now, so not really. Just strange. Draco asks when I'll be able to get to training. I say soon, and Vegeta will help us train, but right now there was something I have to go do… what I want to do is go find Lucius and see about reading his mind for more answers. Though I have no doubt the trail leads to Voldermort, I have no idea why Voldermort would have taken a special interest in Asuka… Of course I don't know why so many enemies take such an interest in Asuka… Draco says not to take too long, he wants to make Potter look REALLY bad in the tournament. I tell him not to worry, I will make sure there is time to train, and besides, I have heard that Harry likes to procrastinate (from book 4 of the series, where he kept putting off getting ready for the challenges of the Tri-Wizard Tournament). As soon as I am out of sight, however, I wake up.
I wake up in a strange bed, though I'm not immediately sure why it seems strange. I roll over, I am comfortable there, and finally my sleepy mind is able to understand what it is about the bed. It's not a waterbed, my bed is a waterbed. My mind is still too hazy with sleep to figure out what that meant. I open my eyes and see I am In a bed surrounded by a privacy curtain. Where did that come from? I pull the curtains aside to look around, I have already noticed there is the sound of someone moving around out there, some other women also sound like they are trying to wake up first thing on the morning. I open the curtains and look out to see there are three other women in the room with me, one is stretching, another is still sitting on her bed, the third one hasn't even gotten out of bed. One of them has long curly dark hair, I somehow think her name is Andie, and she would be very pretty if it wasn't for her case of acne. She sees me looking at her, then she says she will answer right now, her acne cure multiplied her one annoying pimple into a full breakout. I was playing along, "Ouch... epic fail." She nodded in agreement, "You've got that right..." I am thinking I have an answer, I ask if I can try it. She says there is nothing to lose, go for it. I start to make a rhyme, but she says I need a wand first. So then I go to my bag and I find a wand. I point my wand at her face while making the rhyme I think will work. "Let your face be bright and clear, make those pimples disappear." Everyone is staring in shock and amazement as all of her pimples vanish, leaving a perfect complexion. She looks in the closest mirror, gasps, then glomps me. My next though is that I have just made a friend. She says she was dreading showing her face in public, she says I saved her life, well that's clearly exaggerating. Now the four of us finish dressing and head up the stairs to the common room. There is a lot of general talk going on, none of it seems very interesting. We head up to a large dining hall and sit down to breakfast, there is a variety foods available, I choose waffles. It looks like the entire school is there, and there is someone addressing the crowd. It's Albus Dumbledore! He is addressing he room, and everyone falls silent. He is announcing the tri-school wizard tournament. He says each house will have two participants, one girl and one boy, and we will compete against each other and the over schools' competitors in a series of challenges taking place throughout the year. He explains that anyone not finishing a challenge is eliminated, and the last person to finish is also eliminated. The main part of the announcement is that there is going to be a golden goblet in the main entry hall, all wishing to be considered should write their name and house on a piece of parchment and place that in the goblet. The goblet will choose the best suited pair from each house. Be quick, the participants will be chosen at dinner. He steps down and gathers himself some breakfast before sitting at the staff table beside Vegeta where they begin talking about something, I can't hear what they are saying... Somewhere in all this I realize I have become lucid. I am pondering my lucidly, the fact I am dreaming, when Andie gets my attention by talking loudly in my ear. "You should totally put your name in the goblet!" I look at her, surprised she said that... I know I can handle it since I am dreaming, but how would she know? I say no, I'd only make a fool of myself. She says that's impossible. If I'm not the best choice, the goblet won't pick me, will it? She says I must be a natural, the way I cured her acne, and Dumbledore said the contestants will receive all the necessary training, all it takes to enter is a sharp mind, strong nerves, an a willingness to try our hardest. She repeats that I should totally put my name in the goblet. I decide she is right, nothing to be lost by doing that. Andie is asking if I'm going to do it, she wants an answer now. Even though that is annoying, I tell her I will enter, but I don't expect to be chosen. She says she thinks I have a great chance. After breakfast is over, everyone is heading to their classes, I pick up one of the pieces of parchment and write "Raven Knight" on it, there is also a spot for house. I embarrass myself to have to look at my robes to confirm what house I am in, I add the word "Slytherin" under my name. Why am I in Slytherin?! Somehow I am losing my lucidly. By now I'm not even thinking about the fact I am dreaming any longer... I have to say I lost my lucidly. I slide the paper into the goblet and walk away from it. Harry, Ron, Hermione, and MoSh are standing nearby. Ron asks Harry if he's going to enter, Harry says no, he'd rather watch the tournament than be in it. Ron gives me a dirty look and says he doesn't think there should be any Slytherins allowed in the tournament, they will only cheat. He then adds that it doesn't matter since both Slytherins will be knocked out in the first round anyway. At the exact same time, Hermione says, "Grow up, Ron, they're not all Malfoys," and MoSh tells Ron, "No one cares to know your opinion, Ron, not all Slytherins are the same." Ron looks to Harry as if looking for support, but Harry just says he's staying out of it. MoSh says Harry might not want to enter, but he's going to go for it. Harry, Hermione, and I all tell him to go for it, but Ron is clearly annoyed that no one stuck up for him on his anti-Slytherin campaign. MoSh puts his name in the goblet. So there I was, at Hogwarts and going to classes, and somehow I managed to not be lucid at any point during the day. Our first class was Herbology, which was an uneventful class about some plants... then there was Potions, with Snape... now that was interesting. I am sitting in around the middle of the room, surrounded by MoSh, Tigress, Asuka, and Draco… Crabb and Goyle are sitting in front of Draco even though that put them in the front row, apparently they were suffering from separation anxiety or something from sitting apart from him in the past few classes. Snape was openly rude to Harry, and not too friendly to anyone from Gryffindor, though he seemed to be nice to the Slytherins overall. He didn't seem to pay any attention when Draco turned around to make rude comments to Harry, Ron, or Hermione, but if one of them said something back, he would notice that right away. This was annoying me, so I finally told Draco, "Why don't you grow up and act like an adult? You're making it embarrassing to be in Slytherin…" He started saying that Hermione is the mudblood, Ron is the mudblood lover, Harry is the… I interrupted him, and said my five year old cousin goes around calling people he doesn't like dumb names. My seven year old nephew used to do that, but he seems to have grown out if it sometime during his sixth year. I added that if Draco really wants to be putting off the image that he has the maturity of a five year old, go for it, but I had thought he was a bit beyond that. He looked at me for a bit, then I said it was making him look bad to be calling people names like a child. He said he didn't think I would like mudbloods, either… I said it doesn't matter who he likes or doesn't like, no one likes everyone, but he doesn't have to act out on it in such an immature fashion. If you don't like them, just ignore them. People are talking… about you… with mean, mean words! He looked questioning… I added, words like immature, childish, over-entitled, momma's boy, daddy's girl, poor little rich boy, and making wagers as to how far he would make it once he graduates, or if he will even be able to graduate at all. He asked who, I said I wasn't going to point fingers, he said then those people are the immature ones. I said I had never claimed the people talking were mature… they're passing gossip, also childish, but I just thought Draco might want to give them a bit less gossip that is about him. During the whole time Draco and I were talking between the tables, Snape didn't say a word, of course we were keeping it down, not yelling or anything, but I would still have expected Snape to say something. Ron pipes up now and says even other Slytherins know Draco is a worthless sack of shit… I look down at him and say he had better cover up, his own immaturity is showing now… then I roll my eyes and say it must be a guy thing, Hermione agrees with that. Snape has stopped his lecture by now, and he is standing to my left, but he is glaring at Ron. He is in a cranky mood, and he sounds it as he says, "WEASLEY! It seems you don't think you have to pay attention in my class! So why don't you come to the front of the room and add the next ingredient to my Mabajuice potion? Ron says Draco started it, he was calling Hermione a… Snape interrupts and says Ron can either go add the next ingredient and get it right, or he will have a week of detention and 10 points from Gryffindor. Hermione was going to say something, Snape said no help from Granger. Something in my mind tells me the next ingredient is powdered Hemilroot… whatever that is… so I grab Ron's arm as he passes, and I whisper the ingredient to him, to add two pinches of Hemilroot, all I can do is hope he'll listen. Ron glares at me and pulls away, I have a bad feeling he won't listen. My feeling proves correct, Ron gets up there and pours in a green fluid, the cauldron overflows with a foul smelling green goop… Snape says that's ten points from Gryffindor and detention for a week, anyone who was paying attention would have known the next ingredient was two pinches of Hemilroot before adding the Jackshire juice… Hermione was shaking her head sadly, she was right beside me and she had heard me tell Ron about the Hemilroot. I shrugged at Ron, indicating that if he won't take help where its offered, there's not much I can do about it. Ron was staring at me, clearly surprised I had told him the right answer after all. Snape tells Ron to return to his seat before he decided to make it 50 points from Gryffindor and two weeks detention. Ron hurries back to his seat, looking thoroughly embarrassed, Draco is making fun of him, I comment that Draco is acting immature again. There is nothing else worth noting throughout the day, or at least not until we all gather together in the great hall to have dinner and wait for the ceremony where the Goblet of Fire will select the Hogwarts competitors for the Tri-School Wizard Tournament. As I am still not really lucid, I go ahead and eat along with the others, though when I help myself to dessert, it is a much smaller helping than after the first meal I ate at Hogwarts. After the food is gone, it is time for the ceremony to begin. A floating cart is brought into the room, and moved down the center aisle to the front where the cover is removed from it to reveal the golden goblet from the front entry way. Dumbledore comes forward and says the goblet will select the Hogwarts contestants, the other schools will arrive in a short time, and they will have already selected their contestants before they arrive. We wait as the following students are chosen to participate in the tournament… Gryffindor: MoSh… MoSh seems quite pleased with that as he goes to the front of the room where Dumbledore told them to gather. Hermione Granger… Ron and Harry do a double take to see Hermione has been chosen, it seems they didn't even realize she had put her name in. She joins MoSh at the front. Hufflepuff: I don't recognize the name of the woman from Hufflepuff… I'm not sure if she is not in the series or if she was just not well known or if I just forgot, but the woman chosen is Rose Zeller. The man chosen is a very familiar name, Cedric Diggory, who I am determined to have survive this version of the tournament. Ravenclaw: For the woman in Ravenclaw, the goblet spits out the name Tigress, the man named is Eddie Carmichael, who is not someone I am familiar with even though the name sounds familiar. Slytherin: The final students chosen are the ones from Slytherin… the first name to come out of the goblet is my own, Raven Knight, which doesn't really surprise me since I am a traveler and have abilities beyond the regular students there. I go to the front of the class and stand by MoSh and Tigress, there are actually a few students rude enough to boo at me, but one look from an annoyed Dumbledore silences them. Regarding the people who booed, Tigress says they need to shut the fuck up. The final name from the goblet is Draco Malfoy, which seems to make the Slytherins quite happy. They had cheered for me, but clearly they are more familiar with Draco. So that should be the last name to come out of the goblet, and everyone is talking and getting ready to go, McGonagall is telling all of us contestants where we should meet to be told what we need to do to prepare for the first challenge. She stops talking in the middle of a sentence when the goblet seems to be getting active again… for the other names it gave, there would be some smoke and fire coming from the goblet, and the parchment with the name would be ejected into the air for Dumbledore to catch. The goblet is active again, which it shouldn't be, but somehow I am figuring it is about to spit out Harry Potter's name. I look over to where Madeye Moody is sitting at the staff table, and I see him watching the goblet with a satisfied smirk while everyone else is clearly perplexed. A piece of parchment is ejected from the goblet, Dumbledore catches it and opens it up to read the name… Harry Potter. The room is filled with talking now, no one seems to know what to think of this, the only people not completely confused are MoSh, Tigress, Moody, and me. Dumbledore has to call the name Harry Potter twice before Harry seems to realize he needs to join the rest of us, I think he might have been considering it a joke of some kind… All of us gather into a room where there is a lot of talking and arguing about Harry Potter, about whether or not he should compete, it is finally determined that he has to participate because the goblet spat out his name. There are a few more arguments about that, including from Harry, who doesn't really want to participate, but finally it is decided that Harry will be in the tournament. Some people accuse Harry of cheating, but even Snape says that Harry wouldn't have the skill to fool with the goblet. After the arguing about Harry is done, the talk about the first task begins. Draco is mocking Harry, Harry responds by mocking Draco right back… Harry asks Draco what spell Lucius used to make sure Draco was chosen from Slytherin… I don't even bother saying anything this time, apparently they are both equally immature and no one is going to listen to what I have to say. Hermione seems equally resigned to that. The instructors there, and Dumbledore, aren't willing to give us exact details about the challenge that lies ahead, they simply tell us that it would be a good idea to prepare for it by seeking help from Vegeta. Draco says he's not going to go to a muggle for help, there's nothing Vegeta could possibly teach him. I tell him if he wants to say that to Vegeta's face, I'll need contact information for his next of kin. Draco looks at me, not believing, I say I have seen Vegeta fight, and there isn't a witch or wizard anywhere that could beat him. The instructors tell Draco it is up to him if he follows that advice, but it is highly recommended. I tell Draco I am definitely going to do it, and I really think he should come with me at least once to see what Vegeta can do. If he remains unimpressed at that point, then don't come again, but I don't think that will be an issue. Draco doesn't answer, but I am thinking that as long as there is another Slytherin there, he will come. This is about it for the dream, after that I spend some time talking to MoSh and Tigress, before heading back towards the Slytherin dorms. On the way there, however, I feel like I am waking up… which is the first time I have thought about dreaming since my lucidity slipped away earlier… and now it is too late to become lucid, because I wake up.
Note: Tonight I had plans to meet up with MoSh to place a connection between his inner world to the Hogwarts we have been visiting, but then he told me that someone has been screwing with Asuka's memory and she doesn't even remember him. So the first plan became to restore Asuka's memory. I also had plans to meet up with Kaomea to raise a bit of chaos in a different Hogwarts, specifically one where Professor Umbridge (5th year Defense Against the Dark Arts Instructor) deserves to be the object of some amusement. More specifically, never can these two dreams meet! Unfortunately, I once again have only fragmented memories. The Memory Remains I am with MoSh in a strange town, I have no idea where we are, and I am not lucid. MoSh and I are looking for a new age store where he says he will be able to find Asuka, he says I will have to help her remember him. I am wondering how I am supposed to help Asuka remember him if he can't do that himself. We are heading toward the store, MoSh seems to know where he is going, but we reach a spot where there is a barricade and a cop is not letting anyone down the street we need to take. And they are clearly taking this very seriously, there is a large barrier that is about ten feet tall at least and it is topped with razor wire… um… they are taking this way too seriously. MoSh and I take a different street to go around the barricaded area and get to the new age store that way. Now there don't seem to be any streets heading in our direction at all, and the street we are on is curving in the wrong direction. MoSh points out an alley and we go down that, determined to reach the store. There are dogs there now, about seven big dogs that look like Rottweilers, and they are all blocking the alley and snarling menacingly. I go over to a fire escape and jump to reach the ladder, pulling it down. Now MoSh and I are able to use the fire escapes to get past the dogs. We continue using the fire escapes until we finally reach a store called New Life, MoSh says that is where Asuka is working. The fire escape ends on the roof of the place, which seems a bit odd, but we are able to get inside through a trap door. Inside, Asuka doesn't seem to think this is strange at all, and she greets us by asking what she can help with. I tell her I think MoSh is looking for a bit of quality time with her, adding a wink. She looks at me strangely, as if she has no idea what I am talking about… MoSh says I had said I have a song to restore memories, maybe I should try that. I look in my pocket and find I have my iPod, so I take it out and play the song "The Memory Remains" by Metallica while focusing on restoring her memories. The song plays through, and it looks like there is a flicker of recognition in Asuka's eyes. Haunted Dungeons I am at Hogwarts, and this time I am spontaneously lucid, or maybe I just don't recall the time when I became lucid. But at the point where my memories start I am with Kaomea, Fred, and George in some dark corner of the dungeons at Hogwarts. We are all talking about making fools out of Umbridge, Snape, Ubridge, some of the Slytherins, Umbridge… oh, and Umbridge! It is unanimous that every there hates Umbridge beyond all others. Something comes into my mind, I am thinking Kaomea and I can use form shifting to make Umbridge look really retarded, and the effect will last even after we are gone. The situation will be set then for Fred and George to have whatever fun they can get out of it, make a plan? They say they will improvise, that is what they do best. So we start off by sending a fake message from Snape that says he needs to meet with Umbridge immediately. Kaomea and I turn into cats… she turns into Hermione's cat, Crookshanks, I turn into Mrs. Norris. Umbridge comes down into the dungeon shortly later. I, as Mrs. Norris, go over and wind around her legs, which results in her kicking me. I hiss at her. That doesn't fit with all her plates and pictures of cats in her office… but it is also not unexpected. I flip back to my feet, arch my back, and I hiss loudly. Umbridge tells me to shut up, so I start mutating. From the form of a cute little kitty cat I start growing, there are bony spines protruding from my back, and my hissing becomes more malevolent… Before long Umbridge is staring, stunned and terrified, at a face that looks something like this. She stumbles backwards a couple of feet, then trips and falls on her ass before letting out a horrible sounding scream of pure terror. I hear someone behind me, so I quickly transform back to Mrs. Norris and jump on Umbridge's chest and start purring. Snape enters the hall and sees Umbridge on the floor, cowering, pointing at me and saying to get it away from her, please get it away from her, it's a monster… Snape picks me up by the scruff of the neck and looks at me, he states the obvious, "It's… a… kitty… cat…" in his usual mocking tone. He puts me down and looks at Umbridge with disgust. Umbridge is going on about how I had been a monster just second ago, I respond with a questioning, "Meow?" Snape says, "That's Mrs. Norris, Filch's cat… she may be filthy and have fleas, but she is no monster." Umbridge wants to know what Snape wanted to see her for, he says he doesn't and then walks away. Umbridge is visibly shaken, but then she walks down the hall she came from. I see Crookshanks waiting near the end of the hall, Kaomea is going to have some fun with Umbridge. I head down the hall towards them, to see what is going to happen, but this is the last part I remember.
Note: My plans for this night included meeting MoSh to have another dream in a Harry Potter world, and I also had plans to meet up with Tigress and have a dream about fighting zombies. Unfortunately, my recall is just barely on the happy side of CRS (Can't Remember Shit). So after the dreaming, all I have to show for it is these fragments. I was spontaneously lucid in both of these, or maybe I just don't remember becoming lucid. Hogwarts 2000 Race I am with MoSh at Hogwarts… we are all outside on the hill that we were at when we practiced our patronuses. MoSh, Asuka, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are there with me. Ron is being really rude, he is saying he doesn't want any filthy Slytherins here, Hermione is telling Ron how immature he is being, so shut up. Ron finally shuts up about me being there, then MoSh is wanting to have some kind of competition with Harry. After a bit of discussion they end up deciding on a race. So we all go into the castle to fetch some brooms, Harry says unless MoSh has his own broom, they can both use school brooms so it would be even. MoSh summons a broom, Harry gets his Nimbus 2000, and we go back to the hill. The course is set, and they both take off. Ron wants to go up on a broom of his own to watch the race from a better view, Hermione is apparently afraid of heights, I decide to see what it feels like to be riding a broom, so I summon one and fly up with Ron to watch Harry and MoSh race. The two of them are racing along the agreed course, and they seem to be pretty close, but then MoSh apparently decides the broom is more of a hindrance than a help. Harry does a double take as he sees MoSh's broom fall, yells out MoSh's name, apparently thinking MoSh is falling, then pulls a very good Homer Simpson (staring with a blank expression on his face) as he sees MoSh continue flying without the aid of the broom. Harry continues the race, but now MoSh is going faster than he was before, and Harry is already behind. So the distance between them only grows until MoSh crossed the finish line. I land next to MoSh and Hermione, Ron is also pulling a very good Homer Simpson, he is still floating in the air on his broom. Hermione is congratulating MoSh on his win, but she stops mid sentence when she sees he has no broom… now she is pulling a very good Homer Simpson with the others. Resident Evil: The Dark Side I am with Tigress in an abandoned looking town that reminds me of Silent Hill, though it reminds me of Silent Hill on the lighter side. There is a lot of fog and stuff, but aside from being a bit dark and dreary, it is a normal looking small town. Tigress and I are looking through the town, we both have an array of weapons strapped to us, I know we are looking for zombies. I hear the sound of gunfire and turn to see Tigress has taken out a zombie. I blast a zombie off to my left with my shotgun as it comes out of the space between two of the buildings. Tigress and I continue exploring the place, but then things begin to change… I hear a strange noise, a sort of squishing noise like might be heard when pulling something out of the mud… or maybe the sound that might be heard from a swarm of bugs and maggots in a pile of rotting flesh… I know that is gross, but I don't know how else to describe the sound… Along with the sound, the surroundings are changing. The buildings are actually decaying, the tops of them are getting covered with a gross looking green stuff that looks like mold, which is spreading down the buildings. As the buildings decay, several of them start to collapse. The mold stuff spreads to the ground and across it, leaving a really gross looking surface. And as the decay spreads, so do the zombies. Not just a couple, but lots of them, so many of them. Tigress and I are firing our weapons on rapid fire now, a shot gun is too slow, I choose a different weapon and start cutting them down. We are completely surrounded by zombies, but if we can't hold them off, we will take a shitload of them with us!
Note: The goal tonight is mainly to have another Harry Potter dream, MoSh is wanting to continue the Harry Potter dreaming, I haven't heard from Tigress as to if she recalls the last night's dreams at the sorting… so the goal was to meet up with MoSh and attend a class where they are teaching patronuses. I am in bed in a dark room that I don't recognize, but this doesn't seem strange to me at all. I look around as my eyes adjust to the darkness and I see I am in what looks like a dorm room with three roommates, all of whom are fast asleep. I can't make out much detail of the room in the dark, but what I can see of it looks like I am in some kind of medieval castle. I let myself enjoy that fantasy for a bit, thinking it would be awesome if I really was in a castle instead of an ordinary dorm room… the fact that I am not attending a school where I have to sleep in a dorm doesn't occur to me at the time. I lie there quietly as the light from the window starts getting brighter, which sucks. I don't really want to get up. I'm not especially tired, which comes as a surprise to me, but I am comfortable and I want to stay in bed for a while longer. But soon my roommates are getting out of bed and stretching, they don't seem to want to get up any more than I do, but it is clearly time to get up. So I get out of bed and dress behind a curtain that hangs around my bed for privacy, and I notice the uniforms for school look like something they would wear in Harry Potter! I laugh to myself about that, muttering that I wish it really was magic that I would be learning… I put on the robes, noticing mine says Slytherin on it… not what I prefer… I come out of my isolated bed area and look at my roommates, they are all coming out fully dressed as well, also in Slytherin robes… And I notice that the room really does look like a castle, we are dressed as if we were attending Hogwarts, the room looks like we are staying at Hogwarts… this entire thing seems a bit too strange… I remember that when I wake up I need to do a covert RC by pinching my nose, so I do that and I find out I am dreaming! I repeat the RC a couple times to confirm, but there is no doubt that this is a dream. I decide to go along with the dream, since it is going in an interesting direction already. My three roommates are fairly friendly, though it seems they would also rather be in bed right now, we talk to each other a bit, good morning, how are you, some other assorted small talk… Then we are ready to go up some stairs into the main common room of our dorms. There are more people in there, now there are both men and women, everyone looks like college age… There were other rooms on the women's side of the dorm, and there are quite a few guys, too, and I recognize some of them. Specifically I recognize Draco Malfoy, Gregory Crab, and Vincent Goyle… Both Crabb and Goyle are bitching about being hungry, Draco is clearly getting annoyed at them for going on and on about their stomachs, he seems to find that frustrating. Finally he turns and just walks away from them, he comes right over to me and asks if I am feeling ok, though I am not immediately sure what he is talking about as for me feeling better. Have I been sick? I don't remember being sick… I say I am feeling fine. I am wondering what Draco is up to, but it is time to go so we can get to class. I will get over the next part quickly, we go to the great hall and get some breakfast, though I am not really feeling hungry, I usually don't feel that hungry in dreams except for if there is something really yummy to eat. I nibble on a few things so I am not standing out in the group, then we move on to a class, the class is a Defense Against the Dark Arts class… with Professor Lupin! I sit down in the classroom, waiting for a class to start. I see the other students coming into the room, Harry, Ron, Hermione… MoSh! MoSh comes into the room! I go over to MoSh and say hi, MoSh says something about not wanting to get out of bed for class, I tell him this is a dream. He says yeah, being able to come here is a dream, he has been wanting to learn stuff like this. Before I can reiterate that this really is a dream, Tigress comes into the room! Yay! Now there are two people in the class that I know, I sit down next to Tigress, MoSh sits down next to me, and now the three of us are waiting for the class to begin. MoSh has a Gryffindor robe on, Tigress has one from Ravenclaw, so I figure this probably looks like an unusual gathering… now we just need someone from Hufflepuff to join us there. Inter-house cooperation, cool! Soon Asuka comes into the room, so MoSh says bye to me and sits at the table behind Tigress and me with Asuka since there are only three seats at each table. I look back at the two of them, but not for long. Class is about to begin when Draco sits down beside me… wtf? He should be sitting over with Crabb and Goyle, who are looking a bit confused at the table across the aisle. Well, it doesn't really matter because we don't stay for long in the class, just long enough for Lupin to explain what a patronus is, and what the spell is for creating one, then he says the best way to learn is to do it, so we were going on a short field trip to a field, where we could have plenty of room to practice. All of us follow Lupin outside to a clear meadow area near the school, which looks just like I had imagined it to look, like a pretty awesome castle. We are on the top of a hill when Lupin talks more about creating patronuses, then we have a chance to create our own patronuses. Tigress, MoSh, and I have no problems creating our patronuses. Our three patronuses are soon flying around with each other, in the sky, and quite a few of the others are now just gawking at them without even trying to create their own patronuses. Lupin says we have done absolutely fantastic, but tells the others they need to focus on their own patronuses rather than looking at ours, then he goes around to other students to try to help them. Soon Asuka's patronus joins MoSh's, Tigress' and mine. Harry is the next to add his patronus to the party, which is its usual buck form, the rest of ours looked like the pictures below… MoSh's is an Eastern style dragon… Asuka's is a white peacock… Raven's Patronus is a white panther… Tigress' patronus is a mystical white wolf…

Note: Tigress, MoSh, and I have all planned on a shared dream this night. Since Tigress and I have yet to both remember a Harry Potter dream, we're going to take another shot at the dreams where we're at the sorting, but this time MoSh wants in on it. He says he is going to see if Asuka wants to come, too. Since I have been having problems with my WILD's, my light / sound machine took a crap so there went my preferred technique to enter a WILD, I have asked Q to make sure everyone makes it to Hogwarts ok. Even if I'm not lucid, I will still be there, but I won't be as able to go fetch anyone else who hasn't made it there on their own. I am in a room that looks very familiar by now, considering I have been in there a couple of times already, and I have a strange sense of de-ja-vu. I know I have been here before, doing this exact same thing. I look at the walls of the circular room, the tapestries look familiar, the large wooden door on one side of the room… I can tell everything that is about to happen… such as I know a woman that looks like Professor McGonagall from the Harry Potter series is about to step through that door and start talking to us. I can tell what she is going to say, well most of it, anyway… in the version I am 'remembering' I hadn't really been listening to her very closely… The feeling that is going along with this is really strange, it seems like I am in some kind of surreal world even though everything looks very normal… at least for the interior of a castle. I hear the door open and McGonagall, she doesn't just look like McGonagall, she IS McGonagall, enters the room. I look around, feeling almost like I might be stoned… I'm not sure how I would know that since I've never been stoned in my life… "What the fuck?" I say, more to myself than anyone else, "This is fucking crazy…" I note that I am also dropping more expletives than I normally do… "Watch your language!" McGonagall says, this is the first thing out of her mouth, "You have all been given the opportunity to attend this school, at no cost to you, to earn your education in witchcraft and wizardry… I would expect a little more respect than to have the first words out of your class be ones like that!" After making her dislike of cursing abundantly clear, she changes the subject and starts talking about the things we will be learning there in Hogwarts, it sounds like a lot of cool stuff, the kind of things I can only do in a dream right now. Wait a minute… a dream? I am reluctant to do a RC, I don't want to be dreaming, I think it would be awesome to be able to learn magic on this plane… but I do the nose pinch RC, and discover I am dreaming. "Shit!" I let the expletive out without even thinking, I am just disappointed at the fact this isn't real. My expletive makes McGonagall stop mid-sentence to address it. She has seen who had cursed this time, she is looking directly at me. She says if I am put in her house, I will have to clean up that language or I will be finding a lot of trouble. I brush that off with a, "Pfft," I already know I am not going to be in her house. A voice off to my left says, "Is she fucking serious? You have got to be fucking kidding me!" McGonagall seems more than a little annoyed at the fact more people are cursing now, but she continues with what she has to say rather than getting distracted back to the subject of cursing. I follow the sound of the most recent expletives and I find Tigress standing in the group of people watching in the direction of McGonagall, though McGonagall isn't actually visible right now. She says no one is going to tell her what she can and can't fucking say. I greet her, and she recognizes me, she says she had been looking for me, and is glad I made it in time. McGonagall has opened the door and people are filing through it now, Tigress and I are near the end of the line, and I see two more familiar faces. MoSh and Asuka are also there. They come over and file into the room behind us, there are only a few stragglers left to follow in after them. We all line up in the front of the great hall waiting for the sorting, and since Tigress, MoSh, Asuka, and I were some of the last ones in, we are now near the front of the line to be sorted. I notice something surprising… Vegeta is sitting at the table with the instructors… is Vegeta a teacher here? I had no idea he might be interested in teaching at Hogwarts again… Note: In a previous series of Harry Potter dreams, before I was journaling online, Vegeta was there as a part-time instructor teaching the students martial arts, energy control, and other abilities that are not reliant on wands, so they could more easily defend themselves against the allies of Voldermort. The sorting goes pretty much as I had expected, the sense of de-ja-vu continues, but at least now I know why. A couple students I don't recognize are sorted out to Hufflepuff and Gryffindor… then it is MoSh's turn, I hear him say he doesn't want to be put in Slytherin, but thinks he might be because he turns into a snake… I comment that where you go isn't based on what transformations you're capable of… He says he knows that, and goes over to put the hat on. After a hesitation, the hat finally assigns him to Gryffindor. MoSh looks very relieved as he goes to the table, and Asuka is right behind him… McGonagall calls to her to stop, she hasn't been sorted yet, she pauses, points at MoSh, then reluctantly comes back and puts on the hat. It assigns her to Gryffindor, and she runs over to the table to grab a seat next to MoSh. Tigress watches that and then it is her turn to get sorted into a house, she goes over and puts the hat on… it assigns her to Ravenclaw. Wait… is that different than past dreams or the same? I can't be sure of that, I also have a memory of her being sorted into Gryffindor, but I am not sure what happened in the neighboring worlds… McGonagall snaps me out of my confused thoughts, telling me it is my turn to be sorted. I go over and put the hat on… it is getting redundant, but I arrange to be in Slytherin yet again… and it complies. I am thinking at this rate I am never going to get the chance to be healing anyone even if I am in Slytherin… I head down to the Slytherin table and have a seat in an area that is mostly clear, the closest person is several seats away from me. I think it might make me look anti-social, but I really don't want to deal with a bunch of people I don't know right now, so I really don't care. The rest of the sorting is boring… I am paying very little attention to the proceedings when I notice someone sitting right beside me. My first thought is to get annoyed, there are plenty of empty seats without having to sit right beside me… I look and see it is Draco beside me, he has an expression on that I don't see on him very often… a smile! Like in this photo of Tom Felton, who plays Draco Malfoy in the movies! I had intended to tell him to leave me alone, but I am a bit surprised at seeing him sitting there smiling at me and I hesitate on telling him to go away… then I realize that we're in the same house, so we're going to be around each other… and if I'm going to heal his heart, I will have to be around him at some point… So I don't say anything. Crabb and Goyle are immediately behind Draco, and they go to sit down on the other side of him. Draco tells them to go away, there isn't enough room for them here… Goyle says there are plenty of seats, indicating the stretch of about six seats between Draco and the next person. Draco just repeats that there isn't room for them, telling them to go sit somewhere else. Crabb barely gets out a, "But…" when Draco, losing a bit of his smile, just says, "Go!" Crabb and Goyle slink off looking dejected and find seats a bit farther down the row. Draco puts his smile back on and turns back to me, saying now that the rude interruption is over… He pauses for a bit, then apparently decides I'm not going to say anything, so he goes ahead. He introduces himself, saying his name is Draco Malfoy, he adds that I have no doubt heard of the Malfoys… I lie and say I have never heard the name Malfoy before, nor the name Draco, so if he is thinking we have met before, I'm certain we have not. Draco seems a bit taken aback by that, apparently thinking everyone has heard of the Malfoys. He is about to say something when the Gryffindor table erupts in cheers, Harry Potter has just been assigned to Gryffindor, they're over there cheering, "We got Potter! We got Potter!" Draco acts disgusted at that, asking if I can believe the way they're acting over Potter. He looks back at me, not smiling, and says something about me knowing of Harry Potter and not the Malfoys, saying that is because Potter is always stealing the spotlight for himself… I decide to maintain objectivity as much as possible, not to befriend or antagonize Draco any more than necessary, so I say I have no clue who this Harry Potter person is, either. Draco looks at me, surprised again, so I add that if he must know, the place I come from is very far away, so I am not familiar with the well known people of their area… the only Potter I know is a Martha Potter, a really rude girl from my muggle high school who used to spend far too much of her time coming up with insulting things to call me. Dumbledore spends some time talking in front of the group, he is talking about the Tri-School Wizard Tournament, which is a variant of the Tri-Wizard Tournament from the books, and two people, one woman and one man, would be selected from each house to participate in a series of challenges. Anyone failing to complete a challenge would be eliminated from the tournament. If everyone finishes, whoever finishes last is eliminated from the tournament. This is continued until they have found their winner. There would be two other schools visiting us, and they would also have their participants, so whoever gets picked should go out there and make Hogwarts look good. He then adds that Vegeta is, indeed, teaching there. He says Vegeta is teaching a class about non-magical defenses, in case anyone gets caught without a wand, it is important to know how to defend one's self. Draco mutters something about not wanting to fight like a stupid muggle, I tell him I know Vegeta, and using his techniques, he could kick the ass of any witch or wizard in existence. Vegeta has power like Draco would never believe. He can see I am being serious, he looks at Vegeta again, this time seeming to think a bit more about him. Food appears, but I find I don't have much of an appetite. Draco is smiling again, now that he is sure I'm not a Harry Potter fan, then says welcome to Hogwarts, he will be glad to show me around. He eats a bit, then I ask him how he can show me around since this is his first year here, too. He puffs himself up like he thinks he's some kind of a peacock or something, and announces that his father, Lucious Malfoy, is on the governing board here, so I have been here many times with him. I know everything around here. He is smiling bigger now, apparently thinking that would impress me somehow, but I am not impressed. I just give a nonchalant, "Cool," as a response. He says he didn't catch my name. I hesitate, but then I tell him my name is Raven Knight. He repeats the name Raven a time or two, maybe trying to be sure he remembered it, and now dessert appeared. My lost appetite came back, as I saw all sorts of chocolate! Now I started eating, chocolate cakes, chocolate pies, chocolate candy, chocolate ice cream… Some delicious chocolate candies with a creamy white chocolate under dark chocolate and then a crunchy chocolate center… Draco is watching me make a pig of myself, though he doesn't seem to mind, he looks like he is zoned out into a trance or something. The remainder of the food disappears… bummer, no more of the candies. Everyone is getting up to head to the dorms. Crabb and Goyle come rushing over to Draco, apparently not thinking anything of the fact they had just been brushed off earlier… Draco has a plate full of the candies I had been pigging out on, Goyle reaches for them, but Draco pulls them away. "These aren't for you," he snaps at Goyle, "You can go get your own. Now get on down to the Slytherin dorms, I'll meet you there later." Crabb tries to snatch a candy, but Draco won't let him have any, either. Draco holds the plate out towards me, he says he saved me some of the candies I liked so well. I tell him I have had enough, though I am afraid I might be drooling a bit which would definitely give me away… Draco smiles and then somehow turns the plate into a bag, tied closed at the top, and he hands that to me. He says I can keep it for later, then. He says he will show me where our dorms are, I'm not sure how to get away from him right now… I feel like I might wake up, which is not good when I am right next to Draco… I tell him what I really need is a bathroom. He shows me where one is. I tell him I really think I might be a while… too much chocolate… so don't wait, I would find my way to the dorms and see him later. He hesitates, seeming disappointed, but finally leaves. I go into the bathroom and wake.
House of the About To Be Dead I am in a castle, I look around the room I am in. In spite of having had recent dreams of Hogwarts, that is not what comes to mind first here. I am thinking I am in the process of designing a video game. I am designing one of the levels, this castle will be a great setting. So right now I am looking around the level, trying to see where I want to put enemies and items and stuff like that. I place the enemies all over the place, and then I decide to do a run through to see how my AI on the enemies is working. So as the level starts, the enemies attack me, so I grab a weapon and fight back. There are weapons lying around, so I am able to use the in-game weapons to fight. Most of them are melee weapons, but I also find a gun or two. Ammo is rare so I have to conserve it. As I explore the castle I see there are enemies where I don't remember putting them. I think that is great, that means the AI of the game is making the enemies track me down to attack. I kill some more of the enemies and then I see someone else is in there with me, not one of the enemies. I look closer and see Walms killing enemies. Wait a minute…. Walms? Time for a RC! I am dreaming! Now I am lucid and watching Walms kill enemies, making quite a gory scene of it as well, it looks like he might be eating some of them… I resume killing enemies, just because I am dreaming doesn't mean they don't need to die, and I finally make my way over to where Walms is. It looks like he is going to attack me, but then he stops, apparently seeing that I'm not one of the enemies. He makes some kind of comment to me, I say I was going to see if he could use a song spell… say gravity maybe, since I don't remember seeing him use that in a dream, and I am wanting to know more about DT… Walms just looks impatient, he says ok, but he'll only show me once, there are too many people to kill to waste much time. If I need more help, it will have to be another time. He goes through these steps relatively slowly, it looks like part of him briefly teleports and then reappears, and an enemy on the other side of the room is suddenly in two pieces… it looks like the enemy got cut open by some sharp claws, which I see Walms has formed. Ok, so I will try duplicating that… I select an enemy and try to do the same thing… epic fail. The result is my arm on the other side of the room, still holding an in game sword I had found, and flopping on the ground erratically while the enemy watches it in a totally confused state. For some reason this strikes me as particularly hilarious, and I crack up laughing. Walms is looking at me like I have completely lost it, and then he goes back to killing things. I grow a new arm. I want to try that DT again, but it didn't work so well last time. I have an idea. I look at the enemy who is watching my severed arm flop about. I pick up a sword on the ground near me, then I open a portal… just big enough for the sword to fit through… and I make the destination of the portal right behind the enemy. I shove my sword into the tiny portal, it emerges from the other end and impales the enemy. I pull the sword back and the portals close. I am pleased with that, so I do it some more. One of the enemies looks like my ex boyfriend, James. He is trying to say he still loves me, which I don't believe. Walms enters the room and is killing stuff. James says some insulting stuff about Walms, I don't remember what, and Walms gives him a dirty look. I tell Walms that this one is mine, I'll take care of him. Walms continues on his way, killing another enemy. James says he wants me to call him IWL, I say it's not going to happen. He says he really wants me to call, he misses talking to me and wants to… *glurg* Now he looks like he's about to be sick. I follow his path of vision and see Walms eating an enemy, James seems pretty grossed out by that. I find this to be hilarious, too, and I start laughing again. I tell James to be gone before Walms decides he looks like a tasty snack. James scoffs at that, saying I know perfectly well that he can… I slip my hidden blade through a tiny portal that opens behind James' neck… and thus stab him. I wake up here. Designing the Moon I am designing some more of my game. I am on the moon, with Nomad, and he is helping me design the game. I am working with a strange sort of biological machine, I am thinking this is normal, it is merely one of the utilities in the game design program I am using now. Nomad and I are discussing what we want to do on the moon, how we want to set things up, Nomad wants to start by terraforming the moon. Ok, that works, so we need to decide what areas we will have. I suggest different areas based on different elements, like a fire area, an earth area, an air area, etc. Nomad says that sounds awesome, and says we can start with the forest area. I am thinking of how the game can flow, and I am coming up with a vicious circle where each element needs one of the other elements and there isn't really any place to start. I am taking to Nomad about setting up the game so it will work smoothly, he seems a bit confused by the fact I am talking about video games, but he seems to play along for now. Upon finally coming to the conclusion that the earth level would be first, Nomad asks why I am talking about making a video game… I tell him this video game will be epic, with all these territories, it will make an excellent MMORPG. Nomad smiles and says that is awesome, we would make an MMORPG area for dreamers. I am a bit confused at first, then I think of something and tell him it is a great idea to use dreams to design parts of the game, maybe even most of it. Nomad says yeah, we should use dreams… dreams like this one! I look at him in a puzzled manner, he tells me this is a dream. That isn't making sense, I tell him we are designing a video game, not a dream… Space Ark I am with MoSh in the landing bay of the tower on the moon, we are going to go somewhere Q has told us about. I am lucid for the first time, and thinking I can't wait to see what kind of place Q has found this time. We get in our ships, MoSh gets in his ship with Asuka, I get in mine with Basara, and we launch from the tower. Before we have gone far we find a wormhole that Q has created, and we fly through the wormhole to a distant area of space. There is now a fleet of ships near us, ships flying through space going to somewhere I don't know. We fly over towards the fleet, and I see fighter ships around that look like the ships on Starfox… There is also one huge ship that looks like a section of a planet under a dome, the other ships are all flying around that one, which seems to be the one to be protected above all others. We make contact with them, and they give us permission to land, making me wonder if Q has been here before us to tell them we are coming… We land in the landing area, and there are some people there, they are talking about what the ship is for. Apparently they were able to get warning of their star going supernova, so they constructed this space ark, with a section of every kind of habitat from their home world and also a selection of all the different animals, so they would be able to start over on a new world. He says most of the space ark is wilderness, and they have to take care of everything to make sure no life is lost on the way to their new home. Back to the Drawing Board I am in a strange room, I know I am there to continue designing a video game, no doubt the one I was working on earlier. I am working on a puzzle part of the game now, testing it out to make sure it is working properly. The way to solve the puzzle is to step only on certain tiles and in the right order and use those tiles to reach the other side of the room. I do the jumps necessary to get across the room, I am wondering if it is the proper difficulty. Does it need to be harder? Easier? Have a difficulty setting? I'll have to give that some thought. When I am almost to the other side, I notice something wrong with one of the animated parts… there is a fan in a vent that is wobbling instead of spinning properly. So I get out of the game and enter a modeling mode, moving over to the fan and adjusting the size and shape of it to make it fit better. While I'm in the modeling mode, I adjust some walls and start adding a new room. In the new room there are two bodies that appear to be dead but will come to life and attack. This fact is actually betrayed by a slight twitch in the bodies that gives away the fact they aren't really dead. Now I just have to test to make sure they come to life at the right place to make the game challenging without making it impossible.
I am in my own living room working on my laptop computer as I doing so often when I notice that the stickers on my laptop that normally spell out, "ARE YOU DREAMING?" now says, "WHO SHOT MR. BURNS?". Um... that isn't right. I am not immediately able to identify what is wrong, but it catches my attention as I am looking at the screen. I look over at the stickers, looking more closely now, now it says, "WHO SHOT MR. WALMS?" Wait a minute... someone shot Walms? When? Who? For somewhere in there I get the idea I should Google that... I type in the question into the Google search box and hit search. It comes up with one result only, and that is a link to a Dreamviews journal entry by Walms, which seems odd to me since he deleted all his dream journal entries from Dreamviews. I click on it and it pulls up a dream entitled, "Worrying and worrying." I click on the entry to take a look, I am taken by surprise when an entire holographic image of the dream forms around me... awesome... my dream viewing software! I must be dreaming! I become fully lucid. I looked around the new setting, and I realized I was back in MoSh's inner world. I saw MoSh, two Asukas, and Walms all there, they were talking about training, then MoSh and Walms walked off and left the two Asukas alone. MoSh and Walms are talking about training when a strange entity appeared and merged with one of the Asukas... the one it merged with was the Asuka twinner, the Asuka who lives here sees that and looks quite alarmed. I recognize the entity that invaded, it is the same entity that had attacked me before! What is it doing here? Did the twinner of Asuka allow the thing in? Did it force its way in? Maybe it lied its way in… It doesn't really matter how the thing gets into the Asuka twinner, it is in there now. I know what it wants, to eliminate dark energy completely. The Asuka twinner glows briefly with a bright light, but then she returns to her normal appearance. Asuka is staring at the Asuka twinner, she looks quite worried… She asks the other one if she is ok, the twinner responds in the ethereal voice of the light entity. She tells Asuka not to worry about her friend, she means the other Asuka no harm. Asuka asks the entity what it wants here, the entity says there is someone there that needs healing, and it is very urgent, it may already be too late. Asuka asks who needs healing, the entity points at Walms. Asuka acts surprised that the entity would say that, she says he seems fine to her… the entity asks if Asuka can't see that Walms is being consumed by dark energy… Asuka says he always has dark energy, but he isn't being consumed by it, it's just there. While that is going on, I see that Walms has been showing MoSh a couple of things, but now he is coming back over to the two Asukas. Asuka is still talking to the entity, who is seeming very adamant that Walms needs healing even though Asuka has said there really is no need for that. Asuka says the entity can leave in peace, because if Walms really does need healing, we have healers right here who can take care of things. The entity says it will take care of the healing right now, one wave of light energy should wash all that dark energy right out of him (Walms). Asuka tells the entity she thinks that might end up hurting Walms rather than helping him, and the entity simply responds that it won't matter since Walms is a dreamer, the worst thing that could happen is he'll wake up. Asuka looks like she is about to say something else, Walms sees the Asuka twinner, under control of the entity, gathering up a lot of energy and asks the two Asukas what they are doing in a somewhat alarmed manner, just as the entity releases a huge wave of light energy that looks like a tidal wave. I find myself reflexively trying to throw out a barrier of dark energy to block the attack from reaching Walms, but of course that is an epic fail since I am merely viewing a hologram of the dream rather than actually participating in the dream. The wave of light energy washes over Walms, there is a blast of dark energy as it seems Walms was attempting to counter the attack… then when the wave is past Walms is gone. The entity nonchalantly states that Walms must have been too far gone to be saved and then it splits out from the Asuka twinner and is gone. Now the Asuka twinner looks very drained of her energy, Asuka responds by fusing with her twinner so the two of them can share energy. MoSh soon comes over and sees that there is only one Asuka there now, he asks where the other Asuka went. The merged Asuka says they are both there. MoSh looks around a bit more and then asks where Walms went. The merged Asuka said he had gone, he must not have been feeling well. MoSh seemed to find that statement to be a bit strange, he says Walms had seemed fine to him… Note: I am trying to journal this, but it doesn't seem to be fitting with the dream I had on the same night as this dream happened… I know what I remember from viewing the dream, but something really seems wrong with the situation… I'm not sure if it is accurate or not…
Note: MoSh says he thinks there might be something wrong with Asuka, so he wants to find her to make sure she is ok. He hasn't seen her for a few nights and thinks that might mean something is wrong with her. Going to check on her. Another plan is to view the dream where Asuka killed Walms, he seems to think there was something going on other than just dark energy infection in Asuka. He would like to know who was responsible, and so would I. I'll do this if I get a chance. I am in MoSh's inner world, in the usual place in front of his house. I remember my goal is to find Asuka and be sure she is ok, I wonder what might have happened to her this time since it seems someone is always attacking her for one reason or another. That isn't just starting to be annoying, it has become extremely annoying... why can't everyone just leave her alone?! MoSh comes out of the house soon, and he is worried about Asuka, he asks if I can find her, is she ok? I tell him I will track her and we'll see if she is ok, I am hoping it isn't anything serious. I focus on opening a portal to find her, a portal opens, and I go through it with MoSh right behind me. On the other side of the portal I realize we haven't even left MoSh's inner world, we just went to a different part of it. So who would be after Asuka that was in here? Another intruder? Just have to check it out, so I followed my instinct on where to find Asuka, that lead me to a small glen cleared out in the trees. The glen was the opposite of what I expected, it wasn't dark and creepy like if there was some corrupting entity there, it is actually very beautiful. The trees and grass are greener than I would have though possible, so green that they seem to be glowing with their own inner light. There are flowers, too, and those are also amazingly bright and vibrant, contributing both their aroma and light to the place. The light in the glen makes the rest of MoSh's inner world seem gloomy by comparison even though there is nothing wrong with the rest of it. In the middle of the glen stands Asuka, who is glowing so brightly she appears to be on fire. She has her eyes closed, she seems to be in a trance of some kind, I wonder if she is ok. MoSh has also seen her and now he goes out I to the glen, calling her name and trying to wake her up. She doesn't respond to MoSh directly, but she does wake up, she is looking at me with glowing white eyes, it suddenly occurs to me that there is someone else in there, it's not just Asuka, someone or something else is merged with her. Well, whatever that person was after, it ends here. I use the song "Come Out and Play" by the Offspring to pull the merged entity out of Asuka. The entity let's go very easily as if it was afraid of harming Asuka, I find that to be quite surprising. The entity I pull out is a noncorporeal entity made of pure light, I can't even tell if it's male or female, but the voice sounds ethereal and female when it speaks. Asuka collapses after the entity is forced out, MoSh rushes to her side, leaving me to confront the entity. The entity is speaking to me, it is actually scolding for forcing it out, saying that could've been very dangerous for Asuka. I ask what it wants with Asuka, why were they merged. It seems the entity is about to answer when a flux flows through its energy. It now announces, in a somewhat less ethereal voice, that I am another one of them, and my evil plans would come to naught. WTF? I ask it what it's talking about... the entity said it can see my true heart and would save me... uh... I don't need saving... I tell the entity that, but it clearly isn't listening to me, as now it releases massive wave of light energy that flows over me like a wave from the ocean. As the wave passes it takes all my dark energy with it. After that I feel very disoriented like I might pass out or lose the dream or both... My Witchblade goes to work immediately to restore my dark emery with energy from its dark shard, I feel quickly better. I had been about to pass out, but I get up quickly to cover any weakness from this enemy. It speaks ethereally again, saying I took that much better than the other one... then it hesitates... then it says I am stronger than I look, but I will be free or I will perish... that led me to my next WTF... It attacked me again, I heard MoSh yelling at the thing that it would pay for using Asuka like that... I am ready for the attack. I use Whiplash and reflect the attack back at the entity, at the same time I convert the energy to dark energy. The entity is hit with a wave of darkness, it is knocked back a ways and now its energy is much dimmer. I ask it again what it wanted with Asuka, it responds with a hiss like a thousand angry cats and then is gone. MoSh asks what the fuck that thing was... I tell him it seemed like an extremist healer or something... it had tried to purge out ally dark energy. Asuka was recovering, she said that was what the entity had wanted, it had been telling her that all dark energy must be eliminated, then it had seemed surprised when she had said there needs to be balance. She said she thought it had been trying to brainwash her into agreeing, repeating the same things over and over again, and a couple of times she had found herself inadvertently agreeing with it until she had consciously reminded herself that there must be balance in all things. She apologized for letting that happen, the entity had seemed so convincing as a healer, it had really seemed to have pure motives. I told her that the entity's idea of healing is to completely wipe out whatever doesn't agree with its idea of healing. MoSh was talking to Asuka as I woke.
Note: MoSh and I are starting a new plan to increase his lucidity and recall, and hopefully make mine more consistent as well, and it involves MoSh and me sharing repeated dreams, MoSh recalls all he can, and then I fill in the blanks. Our first plan was to explore a tower in MoSh's inner world that was constructed by Walms. The tower is basically a challenge of perception, the goal to simply be to get to the top of it. This was my goal as I turned on my light / sound machine and slipped into my WILD… I am in the yard outside MoSh's inner world home, and I see MoSh is already there, he was looking at me. I tell him that I am there to go check out the tower Walms built in there, MoSh says he is ready to go. I notice he seems to be in a hurry to get going, but I figure he is just wanting to get going before the dream possibly ends. I ask MoSh where the tower is, he points towards the forest across the street from his house, he says it's off in that direction, then he heads into the forest. I follow MoSh into the forest, and we follow a path that seems to wind around for a while. I wonder how long the trail is, and whether it might be faster to just open a portal to get to the tower. I am about to ask MoSh about that when we come out of the forest and I see the tower up ahead. It is a rather tall and creepy looking tower, it looks extremely tall. I look up and I can't see the top of it. From what I can see from the base of the tower, it has no top, it goes up forever. Well, I suppose that's the challenge, so we need to find a way to the top of the tower, a top that I'm not even sure exists. MoSh and I look around the base of the tower, it is of a pattern of bricks that looks quite interesting, but there doesn't seem to be any sign of a door. I am thinking it would be really pathetic if we can't even find the entrance, so we continue looking around the tower. Finally MoSh finds a spot in the wall that he says looks different to him, he pokes around that for a while until he finds a particular brick and pushes on it. A bunch of the bricks shift around on their own to reveal an entrance, which MoSh proceeds through. I follow MoSh through the door, and as soon as we are inside, the bricks move on their own again and seal us inside. For just a bit the place is completely dark, but then there is illumination from an unseen source. The room is now filled with a cool blue glow, making the room look really strange. The room is cylinder shaped, though there is a ladder up the far side of the room. The ladder goes up the wall, and then it goes horizontally across the ceiling to a door in the ceiling. Well, the way to do that seemed pretty clear, climb the ladder and then swing across the horizontal ladder like monkey bars, and then deal with getting through the door. So I head over to the ladder, MoSh is right there with me, and we climb up the ladder, MoSh is right behind me. When I reach the top of the ladder, I reach and grab the first ladder rung of the horizontal part, thinking if this was my waking life, this would be really hard. As I grab the rung, however, the entire room shifts, or at least it seems to. Now the horizontal part of the ladder is going up, MoSh is climbing on the floor. Um… ok… so now I climb up towards the door, which is now in the middle of the wall, I notice MoSh looking at me strangely, then he follows me. I reach the door in the wall and reach for the doorknob. The room shifts again, so now the door is in the wall, I am standing on the ladder, and MoSh is crawling on the floor. I open the door, then MoSh and I go through the door into the next room. I step through the wall and find myself standing on a ledge on the outside edge of a huge spherical room. I look around the room, I feel MoSh standing right behind me, both of us barely fitting on the narrow ledge. Then MoSh is pushing me forward, I am about to tell him to quit it, but I realize the door behind us is closing, and we are both pushed off the edge into the room… where I realize there is no gravity in the room, MoSh and I are sent tumbling into the middle of the room. I look back at the door just in time to see the door close flush with the wall, such that I can no longer see the door. So where were we supposed to go now? There must be an exit somewhere around there, maybe it was another hidden door in the ceiling… but where was the ceiling? I can't even tell which way is up without the aid of gravity, so I'm not sure where to look for the door. Actually, finding a door wasn't going to be a problem… doors appear all over the inside of the spherical room. They are moving, so now I feel rather like throwing up, it is definitely making me nauseous. I try to focus on one spot to keep from throwing up all over the place, and I notice that one of the doors isn't moving at all. It is stationary, not rotating, not moving, so that's the one that must be real. I float over to that door and pull it open, then I call over to MoSh, telling him I had found the exit. MoSh floats over to me and then we both go through the door. MoSh and I enter another room like the one before, and I soon figure there is a pattern of two or more of those rooms set up connected to each other. It seems like we wander around in them for a bit, but then MoSh and I decide to attach a line to the door we entered through to make sure we aren't backtracking, so we can be sure to get through the rooms as quickly as possible. Finally MoSh and I exit through the final door into a room that has gravity and isn't moving. Now, however, the fact that the room isn't moving seems rather nauseating. I still feel like I'm going to be sick. MoSh doesn't seem to be bothered by it, however, as he starts looking around the new room. I finally get to a point where I no longer feel like I'm going to throw up, and I look around the room MoSh and I are now in. MoSh is huge! MoSh looks like he's about ten feet tall, he is standing at the end of a hallway. He shrinks down to normal size as he comes back, then he says he found the way through here, I just need to follow him. I follow MoSh to an opening in the wall, it looked like a tiny hole from one angle, but it is clearly large enough to fit through. MoSh says there is another opening on the next level up. MoSh climbs out through the hole, I follow him. We are now on an invisible floor that is so far over MoSh's inner world that I can't even see the ground, but I know there is no way we have gone that far up… MoSh follows an invisible pathway to another hole through the wall of the tower. I follow MoSh and look around the room we have just entered. I don't even get a very good chance to look around the room before a wave of vertigo hits me so hard that I wake up.
Note: Something really strange happened, it seems there is a piece of Asuka's soul in someone else's body… uh… She said she did that when she wasn't sure if she might die from the illness Walms put in her. I was put off a bit by that since there has not been anything to date that we haven't been able to help her with, so that was her first resort? Regardless of my feelings about her doing it, the goal was to get that piece of her soul back and set the woman she had placed it in free. Nomad was also wanting to have some fun, so I was hoping to do something fun with him after we were done with that. I used my light / sound machine and slipped into a WILD… I am on the moon, in the biodome, near the koi pond. I look around to see if there is anyone else there, but I don't see anyone else right away. I walk around a bit, looking for someone, and I see a portal open. A man comes through the portal, he looks rather confused, then he asks me if he's on the moon. I tell him that yes, he is on the moon, and he seems to be very happy about that… so happy in fact, that he disappears into thin air… oops… he must have gotten too excited and woken himself up. I wait for a bit longer and find Nomad meditating just under the water level of the koi pond. That seems a bit odd, I have seen him meditate over the pond, but never under it… I go over to the edge of the pond and deliberately startle a fish into swimming right past him. The fish slaps Nomad in the face with its tail, snapping him out of his self induced trance. He surfaces and looks at the fish before looking over at me. Nomad says he had been meditating for a bit, I say I could see that, then I went over and gave him a big hug, thinking he would need it due to some difficulties he has been having in his waking life that I won't go into here since it's rather personal. Now that I have found Nomad, we can go to MoSh's inner world where Asuka and the other woman will be waiting. I open the portal and we both go through it. Nomad and I are in the yard in front of MoSh's house, and we go over to it. MoSh meets us there, he says he hadn't realized Nomad would be there, but that's good, just in case something got out of hand. I ask MoSh what he things might get out of hand, there doesn't seem to be an enemy involved here, just an old woman with a piece of Asuka's soul, and that old woman should be glad to be free of it rather than try to resist having it taken out. MoSh says that he just wants to make sure everything is taken care of in case something goes wrong. I decide that arguing about that would be extremely pointless, so I follow MoSh into the living room where Asuka is sitting on the couch and there is an older woman sitting beside her. The older woman has a sweet grandmotherly look to her, like the kind of grandmother that would be constantly spoiling the grandkids… She smiles, and that makes her look even more grandmotherly. I go over to the two of them, and both of them greet me at the exact same time. It is like a couple of twins in perfect sync, it seems a bit odd, really… I tell the two Asukas that we are here to make sure her soul is made whole again, and that all of it is returned to her own body. She says she knows and is ready, or rather both of them say that at the same time… It is a really weird effect… So the process goes very simply, and there are no interferences or little things going wrong… for once something is going as planned. I use the song Come Out and Play by the Offspring to separate the part of Asuka's soul from the other woman's soul, and as I am doing that, Nomad seems to actually reach into the older woman's heart and he pulls out a tiny glowing speck of light. It is like he is somehow holding a tiny miniature star in his hands, the light the star is putting off is beautiful. Nomad is handling it as if it is made of glass and it might break if it is handled too harshly, he carefully moves with it over to Asuka and holds it out towards her. The spark floats right out of Nomad's hand, seemingly of its own accord, and over to Asuka. It hovers in front of her briefly before merging into Asuka's chest. Asuka's entire body briefly glows and then the light is gone, contained within Asuka again. I can't help but be a little sorry to see the light go, but then I notice that if I look into Asuka's eyes, I can still see the spark, it is still in there. The older woman is looking very confused right now, she is looking around the room and asking where she is, she doesn't seem to have any memory of the time she was merged with a piece of Asuka's spark. She says she is lost, she doesn't know how she has gotten here, but could we possibly direct her back to her home? I ask where her home is, she says her home is in the old folks' home down on Timberline Drive. She says she should get back there soon, then she scoffs a bit and says it's not like anyone there has probably even noticed that she is gone. She says it's not like she gets any visitors in that dump, she continues muttering about her kids ignoring her and her grandkids not even knowing she's alive, and then she suddenly stops that and looks around at all of us. She apologizes for running on about her problems, when she is sure we will be wanting to get her out of our way as soon as possible. I tell her that's not true, I haven't even been around her long enough to be thinking such rude things, she says I should be glad. She says she might as well go home… her home is at the old folks' home down on Timberline Drive. She resumes muttering about not having any visitors and other stuff… the way she is muttering it she sounds rather funny, but then a single tear is rolling down her face, this apparently is affecting her more than she might admit. I am not sure if the woman's state of mind has anything to do with this, but Q appears and tells the old woman she will have to be checked out to make sure there were no ill effects from being merged with another person. He says there may be other things that can be done to help her, as well. She says she doesn't want any needle baring doctors, she gets enough shots at the home… which is where she lives, the home for old folks down on Timberline Drive. I notice that is the third time she has repeated the part about her home on Timberline Drive, and I wonder if she remembers saying it before. Q disappears with the old woman, then he reappears alone just a second later. He tells me that the old woman is in the moon tower with the docs, Janet, Maura, and Washu, she needs some help. He says her kids and grandkids were all killed in a fire a couple years back, and she was not willing to accept that, so she had built this fantasy that they had abandoned her in the home, which was somehow more comforting than the thought they are dead. He said she just seems to be a lonely old woman, but she will be cared for. I am listening to Q when I wake up.
I am in MoSh's inner world, in the place I usually appear when I have planned to meet up with him in a dream. I look around to see that everything is as it should be before I head over to the house and knock on the door. The door opens, and I see Asuka there smiling at me. Asuka asks me if I have come back to do another spontaneous healing, I tell her that's not why I'm there… but if she feels she needs healing I will be more than glad to help. She says no, she feels fine, but she felt fine the last time I busted in here to use a healing spell on both her and MoSh. I don't remember past dreams too clearly at this point, so I don't respond. It's better to remain silent and have people think you're a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. So I follow Asuka into the living room where MoSh is, it looks like he has been waiting for me. MoSh says if I am ok with it, he still wants to go and try to view when he got the psychic reading from Bonnie, so he can determine if the person he's supposed to be with could actually be Kaomea or if there is someone else. I say that is why I am here, so we can go ahead and do that. I sit down next to MoSh on the couch and we open up a laptop, looking to view through time as we do when looking to view a past dream. This doesn't seem to be working, however, as when I go to find the entry, there is no such entry. I wonder if that is because it wasn't a dream, it was a waking life event that MoSh experienced. I figure this would be more like astral projection or remote viewing than dream viewing, so maybe I would have to use a portal to get us to where we can view this. I tell MoSh that, and after I do one more search on the computer that doesn't find anything, I turn the computer off and get up. This is going to be more difficult than I had first thought, since my first thought was that the only problem would be seeing Bonnie's vision. I focus on opening a portal to view the event MoSh wants to see, but the portal isn't opening. I focus harder, I know this is possible, I have heard of a lot of other people doing it successfully… I keep focusing to the point where I am developing a minor headache, that certainly won't be beneficial, but finally a portal flickers into existence. I stop focusing on it because it is open now, and all my portals stay open by themselves for at least a while once I get them open, but the portal closes instantly. I have to open it again, then I usher MoSh through the portal and then follow him without losing my focus… not the easiest task… MoSh and I emerge from the portal into a strange place, I don't recognize it at all. I look around and try to get a description of the place, but all I can see is that the place is constantly shifting… wtf? Nothing is staying the same long enough for me to get a fix on it, and the entire thing is starting to make me nauseous. MoSh doesn't seem to be having any problems with this, he goes over to a woman who isn't shifting with the rest of the scene, and there is also another MoSh there talking to the woman. Their voices are echoing throughout the strange shifting place, making it hard to understand what they are saying, but I catch enough of it to get the basic idea. MoSh wants to know about his future lover. The woman, who I am finally able to focus on enough to see she has long dark hair and appears to be somewhere in her 30's, says MoSh is looking for a woman, when he finds her she will complete him, and he will complete her. She seems to be focusing on something, I wonder if I will be able to see a picture or image of the person. I focus on the woman, wanting to see what she is seeing… but I don't get things very clear. What I do see is a Japanese woman, very pretty, she has her hair tied back in a pony tail, she looks to be somewhere in her 20's. She has a very nice smile, and she is smiling at me, or at least it looks like she is smiling at me. I need to allow MoSh to see this image now… how can I do that? Before I can figure out how to get the image to MoSh, everything freezes around us. The room is no longer constantly shifting, though somehow that doesn't make it any easier to see the room clearly. It seems that the walls and everything in the room have stopped in mid flux as if they are part one thing and part another, it looks really strange, but at least it is less nauseating than when things were moving. The MoSh that the woman was talking to is also frozen, the only things moving in the room are the woman, the present day MoSh, and myself. The woman is looking right at MoSh and me, I wonder if she can actually see us… maybe she can… she is a psychic, after all. The woman stands up and comes over right in front of MoSh, she turns to give me a dirty look, then returns her attention to MoSh. Her voice is still echoing around the room making it hard to understand her, but I am once again able to get the basic idea. She repeats herself several times, just using different words each time, that MoSh being around me is a sure sign of doom. She says if he ever hopes to have the things he wants in life he had better break all contact with me immediately. She says that if MoSh stays with me, I will lead him only to his own doom. She says he should break off all contact with me immediately and… well, I never get to hear and what, because MoSh interrupts her. He is clearly not pleased with the woman at all, he tells her that he will decide for himself who he spends time with, and if he wants to spend time with me, then he will do so. The woman tries to say more, saying I am not MoSh's friend, I am… MoSh interrupts again, saying he knows who his friends are, and I am his friend, and now he has clearly heard enough of what the woman has to say. He tells her, in no uncertain terms, that he wants her to shut the fuck up. The woman looks at MoSh and says if he won't listen then he has already chosen his doom. This is where I wake up.
I am standing in my living room, and I am spontaneously lucid… either that or I had become lucid before and just have no memory of the dream there. I look around, not sure what I am going to do. I try to think of goals I have, I remember I have one goal with MoSh, it is a goal to view a psychic reading he got a while back. I am not sure if this will work, but both MoSh and I figure it's worth a shot. I am about to focus on a portal to MoSh's inner world when the television comes on by itself. I go over to the TV and see it has a live video feed of MoSh's inner world house… wtf? Is there really a camera there or am I just seeing it because I want to go there? I use the television as a window… the television is a large flat screen, quite a bit larger than my waking life television… and I step through into MoSh's inner world. I emerge in MoSh's inner world to find MoSh and Asuka in the living room, I don't notice what they are doing there, because I immediately get a feeling that they need to be healed… both of them. I wonder where that feeling came from, but I figure there's no need to question it much. If I heal them when they weren't really needing it, that's not going to hurt anything. So I go into the living room, which surprises them a bit, and I focus on using the song Voices on them, a general healing spell since I am not sure why I feel the need to heal them at all. When I am done, MoSh looks at me, he looks confused, and he asked what that had been about. I say I had a feeling about it. MoSh says ok, so now can we go view his psychic reading? I am about to say yes when I get a strong feeling that Kaomea needs healing… due to difficulties between MoSh and Kaomea, I simply tell him I have to go but I'll be back if I can. He tries to tell me to wait a minute, I open a portal to Kaomea and go through it. I emerge from the portal in a fairly normal looking neighborhood and I look around. I was searching for Kaomea, so I figure she must be somewhere in the area. I walk for a bit, getting anxious and uneasy, I have the idea I need to hurry, and finally I spot her near a café. I walk over to her and she starts talking to me as if she knows me, but not as if she knows who I am. It's like she thinks I'm someone else. Well, that doesn't matter any. I focus on the song Voices again, sending light energy through Kaomea. She seems a bit surprised at that, and responds by giving me a hug… She says it's been nice talking to me… ok… whoever she thinks I am… I now have the feeling I need to hurry up and heal Walms… um… why do I need to heal Walms? That's not normal for him to need healing… But even though I am questioning the feeling, it does not go away or even weaken slightly, so I move a good distance away from Kaomea. I open a portal to the moon, to the biodome and go through it, closing it quickly behind me. I wanted to get to Walms quickly, I didn't want Kaomea following me. I look around the biodome and see a man with dark hair, a black shirt, dark eyes that are almost black, tanned skin, those eyes are beautiful, and he looks somewhat muscular… but I don't take the time to investigate him. I scan and see no sign of Kaomea. So now I teleport outside of the biodome where I open a portal to find Walms. I exit this portal in what looks like a school of some kind. I look around one more time, scanning the area, I want to be absolutely certain Kaomea didn't follow me… I am feeling paranoid about that idea right now… and I see no sign of her. Good. I look around the place for Walms. I wander around the school for a short time and then exit there into a green field that looks like the athletic field. I spot Walms there, I'm not sure what he is doing, it doesn't look like he is doing much of anything. I go over to Walms, Walms notices me, though I am not sure how to explain the certainty I feel that he needs a healing spell when it looks like he is feeling fine. I try to explain myself to Walms, and he is answering me, talking to me like he knows me, but like with Kaomea, it seems like he doesn't see me for who I really am. I think I don't have time to figure this out, and I hope he won't mind using a healing spell… I focus on the song Voices again, though this time the energy it formed was adapted to match Walms' energy rather than the usual golden energy. He didn't really respond other than to give me a puzzled look. I think maybe I can relax now that I have healed Walms, but no… I barely have time to take a deep breath before the certainty is upon me that Nomad needs healing. Wtf? Do I have to go and heal everyone we know? Do they really need healing, or am I being something along the lines of obsessive compulsive? I don't know, but I feel I have to follow the feeling to heal. I open a portal while focusing on finding Nomad. I exit the portal in another place, I don't recognize it at first, then I decide it is just because I have been jumping around so much… Because I have the idea I ought to recognize the place, I am just getting so confused. I look around to find Nomad, he's why I'm there after all. I follow my instinct through some trees and into a green meadow where I find Nomad, I am not sure what he is doing, and I don't even take the time to say 'hi' because even though I haven't finished healing Nomad yet, I am getting the feeling that Tigress needs healing right away… So I use Voices on Nomad, it is hard to focus because I am wanting to leave so fast, but I manage to do it and the spell works properly. Nomad says something to me, but I don't pay any attention, I open a portal to go find Tigress. I exit a portal into a different place, but I immediately know Tigress isn't there. Where is she, then? I try the portal again, but this time the portal doesn't want to open at all. I am getting to a point near panic, thinking I have to find her, it's urgent… I focus on opening the portal yet again, still nothing. Another feeling is merging with the feeling I have to heal Tigress… I have to heal Pablo! But I haven't even found Tigress yet! I have to find Tigress before I can go heal Pablo, Tigress is first… I have to find Tigress… I open a portal, not able to clearly focus on either Tigress or Pablo, and I go through it. I am now in a forest, I am not sure where I am or who I should be looking for, so I call out to both of them, "PABLO!!! TIGRESS!!!" I don't get a response, or at least not right away. I look around a bit more to try to find them, when something is moving and it comes over to me. That something is a cute fox, I guess I found Pablo, which isn't entirely a relief since I have yet to find Tigress… Pablo is a fox, and he is looking at me strangely. I use the song Voices on Pablo, I somehow manage to make the song spell work… Now I have to find Tigress. I hear a voice behind me, it is Pablo, he is now in his form that looks like Fox McCloud, and he has a hand on my shoulder, he says to calm down, what is going on? I don't want to take the time for this, I tell him I have to heal Tigress. I focus on a portal, but nothing happens. Damn! Damn! Damn! I have to find her now! I sit by a large tree and try to think how I can find her. The next thing I know there is a fox pushing his nose up onto my lap, I don't object to that, I can still keep thinking. The fox begins to purr softly… and purr… and purr… the sound is soothing, like the sound of a cat's purr, maybe I can focus better on getting back to Tigress. Pablo purrs… and purrs… I have come up with nothing, but I feel a lot calmer. Pablo continues to purr… and purr… and then I wake up.
