    1. Eurydice

      Date Not Specified

More often than not, you are not fully aware of yourself when you are in the dream realm. More often than not, you may find yourself in a nonsensical scenario full of questionable details and content. There aught to be many questions running through your mind as the situation unfolds before you but alas, your mind is not there. Such was the case for me as I wandered through the forest with this strange girl who I shall deem: Eurydice. There were many perfectly valid questions that I did not ask when I was wandering through this region with Eurydice. Why did this strange girl remain only just outside of my field of vision? Why were we wandering through this black forest? Why did the sky glow with such a dark red color? Where were we exactly and where were we going? So many questions that should have rang through my mind as I walked side by side with Eurydice. So many questions that I did not bother to consider.

There were many questions that I did not bother to ask but there was also information that I already knew. I was aware that I was in a forest with this amazing girl. I knew that the sky was red. I knew that we were ascending up a superficial incline that was protruding out from the side of a cliff. I knew that there was at the very least a seventy degree drop to my left one that was stifled by a row of black trees. And I also knew that this girl, walking right by my side, was the most amazing girl with whom I had the pleasure to spend time. I knew that I was more than happy to be by her side and that she felt the exact same way about me. We made each other happy, Reader. We did not have to do or say anything to each other. All we had to do was exist. Her aspect alone was enough to fill me with joy. It did not even matter that I could not fully see her. Just having her by my side was enough.

We did not know where we were going, we knew not where the path would take us but it did not matter to us. We ascended confidently and without fear. Indeed we were not afraid. Quite the contrary, in fact. There was something about being out in the dark wilderness that made us feel at peace. We felt relaxed there and the incline did nothing to delude the fact that we were happy where we were. So we ascended and we moved and we made our way to the top, she and I.
I can only presume that we made our way through an aperture that was waiting for us at the top of the incline for when we got there we found ourselves in an entirely different setting. We were in a suburban area that was built on the side of a mountain. The streets zigzagged up the summit of the mountain just like any mountain trail would. We were greeted by a population of extremely bubbly people. The setting was very warm and sunny and everyone seemed to be overjoyed here. Everywhere we were greeted with enthusiastic smiles in this bright in sunny pleasant little town. It was so…disgusting.

We could not stand this place nor could we stand these people. Everyone and everything about this place was just so saccharine. We both felt suffocated by the fuzziness of this town. We were desperate to get away from that place, so we did. We ran back down to the aperture and found ourselves back at the top of the incline. Back in the black wood. We were alone again and once again we were happy. A sigh of relieve came from us both as we were greeted by the still silence of the forest dark. I may have looked straight at her for the first time in this segment but she was shrouded in haze, rendering her unperceivable. This did not matter to me. As I stated before, her aspect was enough. We joined hands and proceeded back down alone together once again. There were no other people, no animals, there weren’t even any insects to fill the forest with the slightest bit of ambient noise. Not even the wind gave any sound. There was nothing here. It was just her and I. And that was all we needed.

      Trivia
The forest bore a striking resemblance to the third forest level in PacMan World 2.
The town was reminiscent of a mountain city I saw on google images.

    3. 1st February 2013 - An intelligent incinerator, alternative endings and credits song

      by , 02-25-2013 at 09:46 PM
This dream was from a while ago, but I wasn't registered at that time. Well, I decided to share it here because I think it's curious.

The dreams starts with me in a wooden cabin in the middle of a forest. I think that there was somebody else with me there, but whoever it was it wasn't important. I know that in the forest I am located there are plenty of different monsters. i get out of the cabin and start walking.
Skip. I only remember I find some monsters. I simply ignore some and kill others. I meet a new monster. I don't remember what was it exactly, but it was something that possesses objects, and is intelligent enough to talk to me. Also, when it possesses anything, the colour of that thing becomes dark metallic, like a robot. I decide to accompany him, and he follows me jumping from one object to another. Eventually, we find a wooden house with two floors, which has a water deposit that can be accesed through the second floor. The thing possesses the deposit, and converts it in a deposit of lava. Then, he says it is an incinerator, and that if I threw things in there, he can analyze them and become more intelligent. I leave and head to a city that was nearby. When I get there, I start taking all the urban furniture (traffic lights, rubbish bins...) and taking it back to the wooden house, where I threw everything in the incinerator. Eventually, there isn't any more furniture to throw, and I start stealing in houses and shops so I can keep feeding the thing.

At some point, I meet a character from Persona 4 (a videogame) called Dojima. In the game, he is a detective, but in the dream he is a psychologist. I tell him about the incinerator, and that I am throwing things there so the thing will become as intelligent as a human some day. He psychoanalizes me and says I've been charmed by the thing, and asks me to take him to the incinerator. When we get there, he sees the thing and says that he has been tricking me to make him more powerful, and that he is evil. He explains the thing is becoming more powerful with everything I'm threwing in, and that when it gets powerful enough, it will get rid of me and destroy the city and kill people. He then sees the incinerator from above, and I can push him inside and burn him to death. Meanwhile, the incinerator says that he is lying, and says that when he gets powerful enough we can rule the world together. I am given a choice at that moment: I can either push Dojima into the incinerator (bad ending) or deactivate the incinerator (neutral ending). Nothing adverts me of this choice, but I know I can choose what I want to do. I decide to deactivate the thing by pushing the lever at its side. Once it is done, Dojime says we should leave, and goes out fo the house. While he is walking away, I look again at the house and the incinerator with nostalgia, thinking what I went through, but knowing I haven't destroyed it completely, so if anyone finds it, the thing can be activated again and charm someone else. I feel bad, but I know I am not able to detroy it.
I walk away, and the point of view switches to look at myself walking away, and then I can see at the left of my point of view (like if it was a screen or something) some credits in japane, while the ending song of the previosly named Persona 4 plays.

I wake up and confirm I'm awake. However, it is still 6 o'clock of the morning, so I put down a summary of the dream and go back to sleep.
This time, the dream is another alternative ending. Previosly, I had seen the neutral ending and gave the choice to do the bad ending. This time, I see the good ending. In the good ending, instead of meeting Dojima, I meet with my friends, and tell them about the thing. They also think that the thing is evil, and decide to help me destroy it. We go to the wooden house, deactivate the thing and then we destroy it completely, without any chance of being resurrected. The good ending ends. I wake up before I can see the credits again, but I know that was the good ending. I put it down in my DJ and go back to sleep a bit more. I don't remember what I dreamed next, but it wasn't related to the previous dream, as it was "finished" in all possible way.

Well, obviously this is influenced by my passion about RPGs, especially the ones with a good plot and many endings xD
    4. Riding Volibear, the armored bear. (Without his armor)

      by , 09-06-2012 at 03:56 AM (Zechariah's Dream Journal)
The last dream I had during my nap today was a journey to meet my brother at his house. The trip started out with actual streets I'm familiar with, but after awhile I got caught up in the setting so much I didn't notice that the reason why I never got there was because the roads after a certain cross street turned into a random dream zone. The interesting part of this dream, is I was riding a white bear. Not just any white bear though. He came from one of my favorite video-games League of Legends. Volibear , "The Thunder's Roar". And, interestingly enough my dream mixed both League of Legends with the mount movements of World of Warcraft. I was riding him like a mount on WoW, but I activated his sprinting ability most of the way there, crossing intersections with cars going by like normal. Can't believe I didn't notice this was a dream, but whatever.
When we sprinted, "Phage" activated. An ability on LoL that has an animation of red flame coming from the characters limbs. Without playing these games, this dream probably wouldn't make sense to most. But I thoroughly enjoyed riding a magical bear through the streets of Long Beach.
    5. Wild Pokemon Used 'Kill them all!'

by , 05-23-2012 at 12:06 PM (Exploring My Mind)
I was at a very plain looking house with a group of people I didn't know. Some giant, armadillo-looking Pokemon was stalking us outside the house, trying to get in so it could kill us. It eventually did get in, but I got an idea.
      "HEY! UGLY!"
It turned towards me, and surprisingly, started speaking. "What do you want, human?"
      "Just come here," I said.
"I'll come over alright..." and with that, the Pokemon rolled into a ball and sped straight towards me, planning to crush me underneath it. I jumped out of the way and it went flying off a cliff.

This next part was an entirely different dream. A very hazy one too, as the Pokemon one was easier to remember.
I was walking to my schoolbus and heard someone yelling my name. I turned and saw Nate, an old friend of mine who I haven't talked to in years IRL. He kept saying, "HEY!" "HI!" "HELLO!", so I responded in kind, then went on my bus.
The scenery changed, and I was in a room with my friend Seth. We were eating cookies, and noticed some lady from the game No More Heroes 2 behind us, trying to zipline out of the building, only to get stuck. This caused Seth to say,
"I enjoy playing games straight through so I can beat them."
"PFF!" I scoffed, "That's no fun! You gotta play it slowly so you can enjoy the experience more!"

      And that's all I remember.
    6. Mario, Bowser and... Pingus??? Twist of reality

Mario, Bowser and... Pingus??? Twist of reality (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was living in a vacation home, so I figure I was enjoying some days off. There were some kids player a videogame and they wanted to play with me.

The game was some sort of Mario Bros 3D. They kids created a stage themselves and challenged me to beat it without lossing a single life and with a time attach challenge.

As I was playing, the kids were on my way, so I needed to push them back. I was playing the game with a wired controller on a old school 32'' TV. The graphics were pretty good for the old the TV was.

I was passing different steps of the game. I recall some neon green, semi-transparent platforms that moved up and down, left and right and in circles. I recall I was jumped from a platform to another one, but I could not see the next platform I was going to jump, so I had to trust on luck.

Suddenly, I got to a very high platform. On the top of that platform, there was a square, and that square had a hole. There were big round boulders that fell in that hole. I decided to force Mario to jump in that hole.

Suddenly, the vision of the dream pointed to the TV. Mario came out to the TV flying. I could hear the flight music from Super Mario 64. Mario flew away on the window and I still had the controller, wired to nowhere right now.

I felt I could jump over the window and fly and follow mario. I thought I was in a dream so nothing would happen, but I decided to follow the plot.

Suddenly, Mario was now bowser, and he was flying to the back of a building.

Suddenly, Bowser started to grow to a ridiculous size. I could hear his loud roar and he started to break a building.

I could see over the window there was a different bowser, with a suit and he was pissed. Suddenly, the big bowser shrunk to regular size. After a few seconds, the major of the town, who was not human but I do not recall what it was, came with a few body guards, bears in suit I think.

There was a cage, similar to the ones on the zoos. This cage had two layers of bars and a small spot to pet the beast. The placed bowser inside this cage, but he was now a penguin with the skin of an Ape, but he was all black. A sign of warning was placed next to the cage.

The beast was sad, and all wanted was love. The beast was called Pingus.
    7. Batman Game, The Mall and Left 4 Dead Burned Out Church

      by , 01-27-2011 at 06:37 AM
From the morning of January 26th, sleep time was 2 AM to 10:30 AM:

      First Dream:

I saw a trailer on my comptuer for a Nintendo DS game featuring Batman getting kryptonite from Superman and injecting it into his neck to cause him to become some sort of hulking steroid monster, similar to the Batman character Bane. The cover image for the game said "Ker-BLAM!"

      Second Dream:

I was shopping in a department store in a mall and old ladies kept swarming around me and interrupting my browsing.

      Third Dream:

I was with my mother and at least one other person as we raced across a mostly empty countryside. The world was post-apocalyptic and soon I realized that it was a zombie apocalypse scenario in the same style as the "Left 4 Dead" video-games. We passed through a swamp filled with "witches," the crying female zombies from "Left 4 Dead" and "Left 4 Dead 2." We stayed in an abandoned old house. A bored-looking guy drove past the house in a school bus and I wondered if he knew about the zombie outbreak. The last thing I can recall is a bunch of random imagery on a PC screen, including Quasimodo from the "Hunchback of Notre Dame," a lion (possibly from "The Lion King") and some surreal computer-generated imagery. The last thing I felt was great tension.
    8. 6,000,000 Levels. 2 Companions. 1 Diablo.

      by , 07-11-2010 at 02:01 PM (exdreamer's Dream Journal)
Key: Non-Lucid, Lucid, Commentary/Notes, Hypnagogic Hallucinations

I was a hero, or soon would be. Tasked with defeating the almighty Diablo atop his tower, I prepared for my quest. A magical bird warrior, Phoenix, had been sent to accompany me; offering both his companionship and some much needed combat experience.

Phoenix was a bright orange bird. His back and the rear of his wings were covered in a blue armour plating -- it appeared to be natural. I got the sense he was young for his species, but somehow very wise by comparison to myself. The journey ahead would be treacherous and I was glad that I didn't have to travel entirely alone.

We set off on our quest, and before we knew it we neared the top of Diablo's tower. Victory was within our grasp; all that was needed was to fell the demon.

I could see the sky as I walked along an exterior stairway leading to the flat circular roof above. It was dark and purple clouds swirled around menacingly. Occasionally there was a flash of what seemed like lightning, but there was no accompanying roar of thunder. Silence is all I heard. I grew anxious as I climbed the stair, but it was not warranted.

A man greeted me and was very quick to inform me that I needed to gain another 6,000,000 levels in order to defeat Diablo. In the distance, across the other side of the roof I could say the demon lying in wait. He was a fierce looking beast, not dissimilar in shape to a dragon with no wings, perhaps 60 or so feet in height as he stood on all fours. His skin was scaled and purple, and his head was horned and protected by a frontal dark grey layer of natural armour. I knew at that moment that despite the terrifying spectacle of the beast that lay in wait, I would train longer and harder than ever before and return to slay the beast after gaining another 6,000,000 levels...

Phoenix and I returned to the world below. We had not completed our goal, but we knew exactly what we had to do. Waiting for us was another bird-like creature. His name was Garr and he bore a striking resemblance to my companion, Phoenix. Unlike Phoenix however, his armour plating was much thicker and covered a greater amounts of his body, including parts of his face. He looked strong and stood proudly on his legs, which were unusually muscular. Phoenix on the other hand flew everywhere and rarely stood up right like this other bird creature.

The two birds spoke for a while. I gathered that Garr was Phoenix' father. Somehow I sensed that Garr was a great warrior, and was disappointed with his sons failure. I requested that Garr join with us on our next trip up through Diablo's tower.

We left for the tower again and again it seemed like we were immediately climbing up the stairs to the final confrontation. I felt stronger now. I had surely gained more than 6,000,000 levels in the time since I was last hear -- I could feel it.

The same man was there and he told me that I was still a few levels short. I was having none of it though and decided to take on Diablo now. I knew I was ready...

And then, as with all my favourite dreams, it ended prematurely. I wish my dreams had proper resolutions, especially when they follow a narrative that is stricter than usual.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was a videogamecharacter. On the first stage was a anime-girl who throwed dildos at me. To avoid them I just had to stay where I was.
On the next stage my classmate and pal Sven appeared. He suddenly got a bonus or something. "You're free of all bad enchantments and sanctuaries."
I analysed the item, which gave him the bonus. The description said: "An unspeakable spell"
