    1. First Real Lucid dream. Water and flying and Walls Oh my!

      by , 05-17-2017 at 04:38 PM
Oddly I'm not sure what exactly made me lucid in this dream. It just happened and I had total control of my actions in the dream environment. To start out with I was in Dubai swimming in the gulf. The water was crystal clear and I was collecting coins from the gulf floor. The coins were of all different Currencies including my native Canada. It was easy for me to find all sorts of things on the floor of the gulf because it was a very hard surface, sort of like the salt flats or even the Black Rock Desert in Nevada. I wasn't alone as I remember picking up coins nearby other people's feet. From there I went to a dark blue room with a high ceiling. It had a large window on one side and a staircase in it. I decided that in this room I was going to try out flying to see if I could figure it out. I hadn't tried that in my last LD. I easily flew around the room and instantly experienced the joy and euphoria that many LDers have described. Knowing from others that this feeling often kills the LD I returned to the ground to focus on remaining lucid for a moment and succeeded. I decided to make my next task flying through a wall. I remembered that many other lucid dreamers have reported difficulty in achieving things like this due to perception so before I started I thought to myself that just before I got to the wall I'd close my eyes so that I couldn't see the wall. I jumped into the air to start flying again and headed toward the wall with a little speed behind me. Just as I approached the wall I closed my eyes and went through it. Once again euphoria ran through me and I struggled to maintain my lucidity. Unfortunately I don't remember much of my dream after that but I am happy that I managed to complete 2 major tasks in my LD in addition to controlling my lucidity.
    2. inducing LaBerge euphoria and basic totm - 2 lucids 2017 DJ 31, LD #35,#36,#37

I become lucid by seeing I have 7 fingers. I decide I am in a boring environment, so I decide to teleport to 'New York City'. It is rather different than it would be in WL, because there are no cars. I float around, and at some point feel a bit bored. Knowing this would be detrimental, I induce LaBerge euphoria, and feel amazing. I float around again, and teleport to Washington D.C.
I realize I have a group of followers, so I question one (for the totm) "What is a good waking life totm?"
I get as a response "Drink a glass of water, and savour the texture and feel. What is its temperature?"
I then see a tower with a plaque saying "80 steps challenge"
I go up it, but soon I feel the stairs are dodgy, and think it might develop into a nightmare, so I go back down. I see a "Catholic" church, and peek inside. The roof is decorated with geometric shapes, but I quickly go away. I now explore randomly, making nights last seconds, and days last hours...

I become lucid. I am in a cafeteria and explore the food options

    3. 16-06-30 Bike Ride Into the Netherlands

      by , 07-01-2016 at 12:26 AM
I recall riding a bicycle, and feeling a very strange sense of euphoria. I kept riding, and in no time I knew I was in the Netherlands (I live in Belgium, not that terribly far from the border). I found myself in a grassy clearing, with trees all around. It was clearly summer. I left the bike behind, and stumbled around a bit. I felt "high" the whole time. I wanted to take a picture with my phone of the gorgeous landscape, which was hard - my vision was blurry and shaky, and movement felt weird. I pointed the phone directly at the sun (which was beautifully shining between the trees), but it took so long that I noticed a whole lot of people had moved into view. I didn't see them because of the sunlight shining directly into my eyes. They may have brought an RV or tents, not sure. Anyway, they noticed I was aiming my phone at them, and I realized how dumb I had to look to them. I stumbled off like a drunk in shame, back to my bike. Once there, a guy spoke to me (in Dutch with the correct accent) about something. He accidentally touched my bike, and it broke (almost fell apart, really). He apologized and offered to pay for it. He asked me how much I wanted. I was thinking about this, and that's all I remember.

    4. School Bus and Fan

      by , 01-03-2016 at 06:21 AM
I remembered some short fragments of dreams. Before that I had some dreams that I didn't remember. First I was on a school bus with my boyfriend. There were a few other people on the bus but most of the seats were empty. There was a window open near the front of the bus and a nice breeze was coming through. We liked the breeze. I was lying in the bus seat feeling euphoric because of the breeze and my boyfriend was looking at me over the top of the seat in front of me.

Then me and my boyfriend were in the apartment. I mounted a fan to the wall near the broken air conditioner. We were happy thinking the fan was going to function as an air conditioner and blow cold air on us. I turned it on and it didn't seem to be working very well.

Then I was leaving some place with a friend but as we were walking to the car I wanted to spend more time with him so I asked him if he wanted to go shopping and he did. And since we were already at a strip mall we just walked into the next store, which was a large hardware store. The next store was an auto parts store. We weren't really shopping, but just walking around and talking.
    5. Cocaine vs. Wine?

      by , 04-11-2012 at 05:29 AM
I'm starting my DJ at a random time, but better than nothing! I usually get lazy in writing down my dreams but hopefully I won't this time. I'll try to keep at it. I don't really like writing my dreams down, but eh.

Anyways, I had a semi-simple dream. I don't remember all of the details but the general idea is still there. In this dream, I was really just running. I was running on a dark blue-ish path, like running across the night sky. I don't think I saw any stars because I was "running" through the clouds and it was all dark blue with blotches of random blue shades. As I was running, I felt nothing but euphoria through out my limbs. Usually if someone's running, they feel fatigue and soreness in the muscles, but euphoria in the mind only - that's how my body works, anyway. I remember in my mind, I was saying "YES, I found the secret to not feeling tired when I run! It's wine!" Wine? What wine? I looked around and saw a bottle of wine in my hand. This warm and magical sensation in my body felt similar to a cocaine high. I felt a smile stretch across my face because apparently I didn't have to be a cocaine addict in my dream anymore. Just so I didn't have to feel fatigue and pain. I realized this was a dream because I was in the sky. And then I woke up.
