13.03.23 #1 I’m sure it was a first REM dream because when I woke up I saw that I was lying in the same position when I was falling asleep, so ofc this dream was very short. And what I was dreaming about? I not gonna lie – it was porn dream. Without any special scenes. Bc this dream was short I count this as fragment. #2 Dream no. 2 I memorised for half day but I was waiting too long time with writing this dream and I cannot remind what about this dream was. I will not count that dream. #3 This dream was during my nap. I was child and I went to my grandfather’s room for something (I don’t remember what). After some minutes I went back to my room passing my grandmother. I went inside and sit on couch between my mom and sister. The grandmother went to us and she started to yell at us bc someone didin’t segragate trash. After short dialogue she went away. My sister was forced to throw away some of her toys (both of us we where childs) so I told her what it looked when I threw away my toys. I started to cry and my mom hugged me. #4 It was dark outside. I recognised some burglar was escaping from police. I helped near policeman bu catching him . 14.03 #1 My friend (I don’t know that person in real life) woke me up and told that somebody stole his tabacco. I stand up and went to local shop that looked like shop near my garden plot. Inside of the shop I saw owner trying to hide tabacco. He didin’t saw me so I went back and called police. When policeman and my friend come I showed where the tabacco was hidden #2 I don’t remember beggining of this dream. I was driving on bike to my friend to pay him visit. When I was talking with him I sam bluck fluffy mold on white walls in his room. It was growing slowly but fast enough to see that process with naked eye. I told him about this and he was scared. Together we started remove that mold with duct tape (in the same way like we epilate hairs on skin). This method was unefective and soon I smell unplesant scent of mustiness. I told to my friend „Wait I’ll go to my home and I will get some chem”. I was teleportated to my house and I tried to find some anti-mold chem but the best thing I found it was a isopropanol.
I came across a 2015 post by Sensei about active versus passive control: https://www.dreamviews.com/dream-con...esson-1-a.html In there, he makes an analogy about walking to the fridge and how that is a simple learned behavior for us, but challenging to his son who was taking his first steps. In a similar way, confidence and skill to achieve lucid dreaming goals can be attained. Memory control is a similar idea, but has an obvious flaw: when one is doing something new there is no memory to pull on. Sensei suggests (if I am understanding correctly) to essentially pretend there is a memory of yourself achieving whatever goal that is. My idea to execute on that is to visualize myself practicing something like Firebending from Avatar: The Last Airbender while meditating normally. This can then serve as the memory needed to achieve actual dream control in a lucid dream. Thanks Sensei!

Attack on the Landing Bay I'm in a futuristic spaceship landing bay. There is a crisis going on. Maybe we are under attack. There is a blonde woman (she was a well-known actor but I didn't write this dream down fast enough to recall) and we are running. Apparently, we are being shoved off into a spaceship to go and be the last humans. There is some high emotion involved. We may have had families that were killed by the attack, so not exactly excited to be told that we are to go repopulate. We get into the cockpit and escape.

3-14-23 (no exercise no vitamins) WBTB earlier attempts failed: OBE attempts WORKED TWICE (it really felt so easy - why can’t these happen every single time I try?) Lucid Dream #1 - After feeling the movement and seeing the binary images I slipped out of bed, landed on the floor with sheets wrapped around me (yes it felt so very real) I felt the floor as I got the sheet off of me, then started to rub my hands together telling myself to stay calm. I immediately went down the stairs, I was floating down, and didn't feel the floor under my feet. I went through the entry hall, feeling my way through the darkness and went into the bathroom. I turned the light on in the bathroom, the dream became a little lighter and I grabbed the piece of paper there. I've been wanting to see if I could read what my husband wrote on the back of this paper for a while now. I picked up the paper and felt it in my hands. I looked at the back of it, and while it was a little light in the room, I couldn’t see the writing on it. So I moved into the laundry room which seemed a little brighter. I was telling my dream to get lighter. I said it several times, then the last time, I said it very strongly and with more force I felt like I really said it outloud. I could see something on the paper, but I just couldn’t make out any of the letters or see what it really said. I held the paper up to the window and still couldn’t make out the text. It was almost like I was looking at the text backwards through the paper and upside down. Husbands Alarm went off! I woke up. Just for a moment, I tried not to move and I gave it a second try… Lucid Dream # 2 - I was still on my back and knew I wouldn’t have much time, his alarm would be going off again soon. I waited and then I felt the movement again and I seemed to see the binary visual again. Same thing happened. I slid out of bed again with the covers still wrapped around me. I had to unwrap myself from the sheets. Then I started down the stairs again, this time I felt my feet on the floor and I felt the edges of the stairs under my feet. Made it down to the landing, turned left two more stairs I counted. Then through the entry way and into the bathroom again. I grabbed the piece of paper and this time went straight into the laundry room as I saw through the window it was much lighter out more windows in the laundry room. I looked at the paper and this time I thought it looked like Chinese characters. I found a piece of cardboard which was white and it felt like where the words were was sort of translucent and I thought if I held the paper up in front of the cardboard I might be able to make it out. NOPE - I Could not read the writing on the paper. So I decided I gave that enough time, it was time to translocate so I opened the regular garage door to walk into the garage and the big garage door opened up by itself. I didn’t state where I wanted to be; I just knew the dream would change as soon as I got out of the house. To my wonderful surprise, it was warm, and there was NO SNOW Anywhere. I walked out and noticed I was on a different driveway, there seemed to be two big vehicles, maybe one was a motorhome. It was big. I was in a neighborhood, not the country. The tree’s had leaves. YEAH. It was warm, I know I said that already, but man that felt good. I took off flying down the road and just enjoyed the feeling of just calmly moving along. I wasn’t flying high nor fast; and I was just flying above the road about the level of the tree line. My next thought was to find something to eat. OH and not one single DC was around. What the heck, I saw nobody! Anyhow then suddenly after I thought of the food; a rack full of donuts appeared out of nowhere, just out in the openness of my dream. I picked up one of the chocolate cake donuts with chocolate frosting. It didn’t exactly feel real while I ate it.. I was able to go through the motions of taking a bite, but the chewing, swallowing and texture didn’t exactly feel real. And unfortunately the taste wasn’t as I was expecting. But I seemed to get some crumbs on my finders because I do remember licking my fingers afterwards. 🙂 After that I wanted to fly up high into the sky. So I tried to push off from the ground, I gained some height, but the dream scene showed me some type of dark colored netting that was acting as a barrier. I knew I could blow right through it, but I couldn’t push off well enough to get going up like a rocket. Two or three attempts later, the alarm went off again and I woke up. Feeling pretty happy as I knew it wouldn’t be a long lived dream, I knew the alarm was going to wake me up soon. I felt pleased with the amount of ‘stuff’ I could do in that short period of time. DF #1 Had a dream about my hair DF #2 Had a dream with other DC’s and we were shopping for clothes. This one rather large and tall DC seemed to be male but was dressed and looking for female clothes. Never saw facial details on these DC’s that I recall. ------------ 3-Step Task (got all three done) Step 1 eat - 5 Step 2 teleport (changing dreamscenes by walking out of the house) - 10 Step 3 fly - 15 Personal Goal Perform OBE Experiment (attempt to read that paper) = 15 WBTB Fail = 2 2 Dream Frags = 1 Total Points 48
So last night after waking up for a while and then going back to sleep I had another "natural" moment of lucidity. I was on a cruise ship for some reason and it had a concrete children's playground on it that looked a lot like a skate park. I thought to myself that it looked a lot like a liminal space and remembered I wanted to visit a liminal space in my dreams and wished I was dreaming so I could explore it. Then I realized I was dreaming. Everything went dark as it often does in these situations and I began to try stabilizing the dream by repeating "this dream stabilizes" which has worked for me multiple times before. I started feel a strong wind blowing me as I was lying in my bed and I thought I was about to get sucked out of my bed like the last time I did this but I got distracted because when I tried to swallow I couldn't. I was able to stay focused, but then I began to hear a noise which I thought was from my dream, but I soon realized was the music I had put on to try and help me sleep last night. This pushed me over the edge and I got too distracted and just woke up. I am very disappointment, if the music hadn't been playing I may have finally had another lucid after weeks of trying for the competition, but whatever it happens. At least it's progress. I just now need to figure out how to properly harness this to do it more often instead of only once a month or so.
3.12.2023 Fragment 1 [+0.5] I was in my apartment, I think. I try to turn on the light, but it wouldn’t turn on. This is unsettling, but I also remember that this is a dream sign. I think I do a reality check, but I don’t remember what happened after that. 3.13.2023 1:00am bedtime. 10 drops of wormwood tincture (half dose) about 11:30pm. Awake by 9:30am. Took the following notes: Preparing for exam, moving, driving through plaza, someone’s family died but doesn’t care, other guy remembers his own daughter and dancing with her, building electronic device, using symbol for “about”. (Moving -> getting things out of cupboard) Hobbits, a book, swimming pool, lemon in swimming pool, Riddles, “hoodwinking” based on someone’s name. Fragment 1 [+0.5] I don’t remember too much about preparing for the exam. It involved making some kind of electronic device, and using the symbol as a representation for the word “about”. Fragment 2 [+0.5] We are moving, or helping my grandmother move. Part of this process involves taking things out of a cupboard. My grandmother doesn’t seem happy with the way I’m working, which isn’t like her...something about driving through a plaza and then onto a road that intersects with the road my grandparents used to live on... Fragment 3 [+0.5] People are standing in line for something. While they are there, one guy finds out that his family has been killed. At first, I think he pretends to be shocked and grieved. But then he kind of shrugs it off because he is estranged from them anyway. Another guy that is standing with him starts thinking about his own daughter. It becomes a kind of cutscene, in which they are dancing together. The imagery becomes cartoonish as they do so. Hobbits [+1] Two Hobbits. I might be one of them. Or maybe I’m just with them. There is a book involved. There is something important about the book, I think. I go into someone’s house to see the book, maybe? Then we go on an adventure. This involves climbing down a hill, and a fighting scene. I have two short swords or daggers that I am fighting with, one in each hand. I think I’m borrowing one of them. [This might have been the same dream, and maybe earlier on:] going from one place to another. To do so, we jump into a swimming pool. I find this to be exciting. We cross to the other side of the pool where something happens (maybe this is where the Hobbit adventure happened, but I’m not sure). At one point, I think it might be fun to throw a lemon into the pool. I think about throwing several in, but decide on just the one. Fragment 4 [+0.5] Something about telling riddles. It seems that if you are really good at it, or able to trick someone else, this is called by a name I don’t quite remember, also known as “Hoodwinking”. The word, it seems, is based on someone’s name, someone who was good at tricking people I think. Took a nap in the afternoon. Had the following dreams: Fragment 5 [+0.5] Something about British Columbia. Something about stars set in a blue background, I think. It seems to be a murder mystery (at least that’s what I wrote in my notebook). Something about how the US was glad to give British Columbia to Canada. It might have been a part of the state of Washington at one point in time. Someone says this in a belittling way, referring (I think) to the conservative leaning of the people that live there. The person talking is a liberal. Fragment 6 [+0.5] Christopher Robin gathers together a bunch of stuffed animals (representing Winnie the Pooh and friends) and jumps into a kind of square portal in the floor that takes him to the 100 Acre Wood.
Night 11: - I was back in high school track. I was discussing my race times with 2 of my HS friends. We were heading to either a workout or a race on the track, and we were talking about how we wanted to get faster. We were a bit worried that our goals were unrealistic (I think we were talking about trying to go to the Olympics or something) but were determined to give it our best effort anyway. (Full non-lucid = 1 point) - I went to some sort of music festival. (Fragment = 0.5 pt) - I was cooking, and some dude put a giant hornet in my whipped cream. It escaped. D: WHY is it always hornets? (Non-lucid: 1 point) - WBTB lucid dream where I was at this very nice park. But I started to lose it very quickly (and couldn't remember any of my tasks). When I woke up, I tried to do DEILD into an OBE, and I successfully stayed sleep paralyzed. I also did successfully have a few seconds of an OBE in which I walked on top of the desk next to my bed, but then I lost it, and the imagery was so faint that it was almost daydream-like. (WBTB: 2 points, dream chaining: 2 points) - A dream fragment about the company I interned with last summer. (Fragment: 0.5 pt) - I had a dream that I got a text asking to man the cameras for a YouTube feed at church, including on a Saturday night event, which was weird because I knew Saturday night was over and it was Sunday morning (considering that I thought I was awake, and had a very real-life context this time). (Non-lucid: 1 point) Night 12: - Dream fragment. I was exiting a grocery store on a sunny winter day. (0.5 pt) - I attempted a DEILD into an OBE again, and I failed. My earplug had fallen out and I was getting distracted by late-night/early morning traffic noise, so I eventually had to snap myself out of the sleep paralysis vibration sensations and put the earplug back in. Nap after night 12: - I did not get enough sleep last night and I felt like crap with a headache all day due to the springing forward. BUT! I did have one cool experience as a result of it...It just didn't last very long. I'm getting better at LDing often, but not at preventing wakeups. Basically, I was exhausted and falling asleep against my will at work, and I work from home, so I gave in and took a nap. I really like the whole OBE sensation so I tried it once more. I did WILD and stayed lucid as my body fell asleep. I got intense falling sensations, occasional feelings like my arms were floating above my body, and an intense sensation of being pulled forward. I then tried to start controlling dream imagery, and did see a few faint flashes of trees or something green -- But then I opened my eyes and saw my room. I was on too much caffeine today, so that created some interesting sensations. Well, it was only 120mg and early in the morning, idk. (I think this counts as a WILD so 10 pts, but let me know if I should drop it and I can! ) Nights 11-12 3 non-lucids: 3 points 3 fragments: 1.5 points WBTB: 2 points Dream chain: 2 points WILD (this only lasted for a tiny bit and it was mostly physical sensations, see blog, so lmk if I should refrain from counting it): 10 points Total: 1 + 0.5 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 0.5 + 1 + 0.5 + 10 = 18.5 Competition running total: 77 + 18.5 = 95.5 points

I was back at my old sub job, except this time I was teaching a class of Ancient Egyptian guys. I remember going to the bathroom and using sand to wash my hands. I was explaining to them sqare kilometers, and using them to seperate property. I was actually kinda stupid a lot of the time, I forgot details and mixed terms (I referred to kilos as miles). Trevor Phillips then busts into my room and beats me up before I woke up
