Fragment of Dreams
I'm entering a shop that belongs to a Chinese old man, to spend the night. He has invited me to take out a tooth that's moving (a canine, I think) and to spend the night there. When I'm entering, the tooth drops out by itself. When looking at it, I can see it in the floor, a bit brown-greyish, it seems rotten or something like that.

It's been a while since I last posted any dreams and I regret that because I have been slowly losing recall and now only have fragments when I sleep now. I guess that is the consequence of stopping my dream journal out of nowhere. But I've decided to come back to it again with a new motivation and hopefully more maturity about that whole thing. I got slightly annoyed when I had one lucid dream and then nothing. But I realise now there is nothing I can do about that and hopefully I will persist more this time. Anyway, onto the dream! Non-Lucid Questioning Lucid I was on a pier with a couple of DC's and was looking over the side. The water was light blue in colour and I could see down to the sand below me. I was told by one of the DC's that there would be a party going on in one of the houses. I seemed like a really rich area as I could see some very swanky looking houses a couple of blocks away from the ocean itself. I started to follow the DC's up some small wodden stairs, blinked, and was instantly at the party. I saw J in the main dining room and went over to her, we chatted for a bit until a couple of my other friends showed up and took me a secluded room in the house. The only furniture it had was a dark wooden bed with blue covers, white pillows and an armrest. On the armrest were two phones, I assumed one was mine and one was J's (even though we dont have phones that look like that at all.) I grabbed J's phone for some reason and went on google, I could read the text wonderfully and I started to wonder what she would say if she saw me on her phone without permission. She then promptly walked through the door and started to yell at me before I woke up. My first dream I've recorded of the year, not the greatest but it was a nice view at the very start. I'm hopefully gonna stick with it and have some more lucids as I keep going. The concept of this still really interests me as I watched a documentary saying we spend roughly 20 years asleep. Why not spend those 20 years having fun. - Have my 2nd Lucid Dream. - Have a conversation with a DC. - Fly while Lucid. Not many goals this time round. Those are the three that came to mind, I'll try to add more when I think of something that I fancy doing.
I recall being in school. I was wearing a black suit. It was the day of the great contest, which I was preparing for since weeks. I was ready, but then teacher told me that I'm going to write it in the evening, and I had to tidy the classroom first. I helped other students, and the went to the bathroom. I opened the door, and saw room devoid of anything. Just tiled walls, with tiled floor. It was old and dirty. Everyone inside was pissing on the walls. Disgusted I left the building, went out of school and went to my home. It was evening when I finally got to it. I went to the bathroom, and luckily it was regular bathroom this time. I leaved it immediately, and went outside, to my parents. I told them that I need to go. They told me that I've dirt on my trousers. I cleaned it up a bit, and entered the car.
I blew my nose, and noticed that something solid had emerged into the tissue. My growing unease ripened into sharp alarm when I inspected the contents. Next to some meatier pieces of phlegm was the unmistakable segmented shape of a short, light grey worm. It was about half an inch long, and completely alive and intact. I'm not sure if it was a true worm or had two hair-like rows of short legs, but it even started to move as I watched. The thought of such a thing living in my body, in my sinuses even, infused me with silent horror quickly ripening to desperation as I saw the front half of another worm, which would have been twice as long as the first if it were intact, in the tissue's contents. On the underside was a distinct mouth with two visible mandibles curved back so that they lay flat against its body like fangs. What were these things doing to me? Just after discovering the worms in the tissue, I felt an itch just above the hairline of my forehead and absently scratched it. A soft body crushed under my fingers, getting tangled in my hair, and I brought them back to find the green ooze of yet another worm staining their tips. The horror became even more intense. Were there so many in my body that they were emerging? I needed to do something about this now. Mustering all my willpower to stay calm and focused, I brought the unwieldy vehicle I was driving over to the curb, put it in park, and engaged the parking brake. It was a boxy shuttle like those that sometimes ferry people and their luggage around airports; this one had no seats and was specced for military use. I left the engine running, even as I wondered why I was doing so: this was unlikely to be a short stop. As I disembarked, I said something like, "Men, make sure not to move this vehicle," to my company. They were prone to horsing around, and I was afraid someone might bump the parking brake and accidentally disengage it. The vehicle was tricky to operate. I disembarked, dodging the idle men lounging on the short flight of steps that led from the strip of grass bordering the curb down to the sidewalk bordering the building. The door was open, and there were more men clustered around the steps that led down into the building. I knew they were here because I had left for the last mission in such a hurry that they had been left behind. I had already sensed that something was wrong at the time, but it had still been too vague to articulate, a vague but crushing sense of oppression rather than any physical symptoms I could describe. I was looking for someone in particular. Not the young doctor, but the old one, who I had known for a long time and trusted completely. After passing a row of men leaning against the bar to the right of the entryway, I turned left and was relieved to discover him standing next to a table. He had grey hair and a lined, weathered face, with a serious but not unkindly expression. I addressed him in a tone that was urgent but still tightly focused, doing everything I could to remain cogent and not lose myself to the mounting hysteria I was feeling. "Richard, I think there's something wrong with me." He looked up, and I saw that he could tell from my face that the matter was dire, but when he spoke his tone was relaxed, the practiced ease of an experienced combat physician. "Okay, tell me all about it." "It started about a week before this mission," I began. It was here that I woke up. The dream was a patchwork of distinct day residue. The worms were inspired by Jimmy Carter's appearance on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where they briefly discussed his efforts to eradicate guinea worms in Africa. The doctor's face was a combination of Lance Hendrickson, who I saw the night before last when Aliens (1986) came on TV, and another old guy from another film of which my husband made an approving remark when he appeared. The film might have been The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999), which we caught much of on cable last night, in which case the guy must have been Philip Baker Hall (b.1931)—I had to look up his name, but the face looks right. My role as a female leader of a military company comes directly from Mass Effect 3 (2012), which I was playing last night. I think there was a lot more to the dream, because it actually started with the scene prior to the mission when I first felt a foreboding uneasiness. I reported it in retrospect because I couldn't remember most of what happened before that last scene; the mission itself remains a blur in memory. There was physical input as well: when I woke up I still had a slight itch on my head where I had scratched in the dream and discovered the third worm.
Something to do with my old dream nemesis reappearing. I was in high school ( come on that's a dream sign.) He was friendly though and we were chasing one another down the halls together. Another space-themed dream. In this one, I was told to create a solar system, alongside someone else. We had to create a triple star system with a large star and two dwarf stars in a 1:2 orbital resonance around the large star. We then continued out with planets. Not gonna be too hard on myself for a foul night. I had to wake up at the butt-crack of dawn for an appointment, and most of my good lucid dreaming happens in the late morning. Maybe I can sneak in a nap after class today.

1/11/15: I dreamt about a behavior that's been bothering me lately: Choosing to avoid hard work because of the laziness of others. I've been really getting into the self improvement community lately and the idea of removing cognitive biases was on my mind the night before. One of the cognitive biases that especially annoys me is "bandwagon behavior" (doing something because everyone else does it). So I dreamt about hanging out with this girl who's in my Journalism class. She was talking about how she decided not to do an assignment we had for the class. We kinda slowly started doing our own thing. Later on, she was smoking weed and having fun with her guy friend in her car, we were out in the city for some reason. I think a scene change occurred and I didn't really pick up on it. So anyway, the next morning we were in class and I didn't do the assignment. The girl was absent and the teacher got REALLY mad at me and started humiliating me in front of the class. 1/12/15: I dreamt about trying to kiss a female friend of mine while waiting in line to get food at lunch, I don't remember the outcome but I remember not being able to get food for some reason. Pretty blurry, vague, and bland dreams but I just started journaling again, and the fact that I'm having recall so fast is rather exciting. My nutrition is better and I sleep better too, lately, so I think that's why.
I was sitting on the couch in my kitchen. My mother was sitting there too. I turned on Half-Life on my old laptop, and my mother turned it on, on her phone. It was weird phone, it was extremely thin, and easily bended. We were moving through the deformed, dark labs. From time to time teleports lighted the darkness a bit. Luckily they weren't leaving enemies. The place get more and more deformed. I turned the laptop off, and found myself outside. I was watching the night sky. Black, devoid of stars. Suddenly I realised that I look at a gigantic black vortex that surrounded earth.
1. Something to do with baseball that somehow lead into people using liquefied, controllable metal for miscellaneous tasks. 2. I remember another dream, but I don't recall any details. 3. I was wandering around at what I knew was my college, despite it looking completely different. I was rather preoccupied with the time for some reason. I was there at 7 and felt I had been there overnight. Something happened, I don't recall what, then I checked my watch to see that it was 12:15, 15 minutes late for class. I headed there and found that the room had an odd assortment of desks and chairs, some standard, some more like bar stools. I found a spot near some people I knew. I forgot another event and somehow I was back 'home' (Which was nothing like my actual home.) and checking the time again, realizing that I had to get back to school soon for a second class. Realizing I had only a few minutes to get there, and knowing that it'd take me an hour to get there, I decided to use an LD to get there (Oh the joy of dream thoughts. Use an LD to travel, without taking the hint to become lucid.) I don't remember if it worked or not and I woke up shortly after. 4. Again, I distinctly remember another dream, but can't recall anything from it. 5. I was walking in the woods looking for materials (for what I've no idea.) when I noticed some people running after me. (The people from 'The Forest' in retrospect.) I dropped what I had and ran, trying to break line of sight long enough to hide without success. I jumped into a nearby river, hoping to lose them that way, and swam underwater for quite a while. I looked behind to see one of the people still following me, and worse, a large number not far from the shore ahead of me. I quickly left the river and climbed up some kind of structure, using the outer duct work and conveyor belts, whose purpose I could not discern. I jumped off the opposite side into a lake and quickly swam beneath a dock jutting out from the building. It was a rather tense few moments as I waited underwater, but the people eventually went elsewhere. Just as I was about to resurface for a breath, someone else arrived, initially scaring me, but they turned out to be helpful and hooked me up with a bow, arrows, and a knife. The dream essentially turned into a game of Far Cry after. I followed him out of the area. At one point I was deciding between keeping the bow or switching out for an RPG. At first I took the RPG, but later returned to get the bow, thinking stealth would be more beneficial. I don't remember what happened after that.

I was standing in front of the doors to my home. Its warm, sunny morning. I can feel refreshing, cold west breeze. As I'm about to enter my home, a bee flies across the garden. Somehow I can hear it whistling and singing about the spring. I enter my home, take my jacket off and enter the room. I seat near the table with mother and siblings, and we start to play scrabble. I can recall some of the letters i had. I think it was o, u, i, z, c, h and s. I can't recall who won the game.
Something to do with Sonic the Hedgehog Something to do with getting spammed a bunch of lucid dares. I was in the park by my sub. Once again it was summertime in the dream. I found two of these beetles. One was quite large and the other was small, but they shared very similar characteristics. They had black bodies with small antennae and long legs, with four green eyes that glowed. But their most striking feature was that their shells were made out of shiny polished steel. The larger of the two beetles climbed onto my hand and looked into my eye. I looked back at the little friend, and started thinking about connecting to nature. I couldn't help but think that with the metal shell and glowing eyes that these beetles were actually somehow mechanical or a product of genetic engineering. My dad came up to me and said. "If you like them so much, why don't you kill them? Then you can have their shiny shells forever." I found myself appalled that he would say something like that. Normally I don't take much issue with killing bugs IWL. But they were such spectacular creatures, I wouldn't dare hurt them. There was some anime series that was somehow summarized. It showed how there was a main male and a main female character, and all of this tension between them. However, the male character was always talking about finding his friend again. They showed me how the male character mentions him in every single episode that he is in. In the end, the boy finds his friend and it turns out that the two were actually in a homo relationship. The girl made some kind of fourth wall joke about how this was such a deviation from what is usually expected in the end of anime with this setup. I ended up telling either the writer or the person who introduced me to the show that I really liked the idea of breaking that trope, but I wouldn't go so blunt with it in the end, it ends up kind of overdoing it. I tried to explain to them that if you hammer in a joke too hard you can end up ripping it apart and taking it from funny to really awkward. I had this really weird dream where both Manei and Marcus were in what felt like a log cabin somewhere. We had a Christmas tree set up. Also, both of them had on these absolutely ridiculous Christmas hats. They looked sort of like jester hats made of completely red fabric, only they had a wide brim, like a sombrero as well, and each also had a huge golden Christmas bell on it. There was something to do with presents for everybody and Manei said she wanted to make cookies with me. Maybe I can finally complete that other lucid dare. I really should go for a lucid in a Christmas setting. Though Christmas was a couple weeks ago now... Manei also wanted me to sign the Christmas cards that she had designed herself. She said that she wanted to send them to all of her friends. For some reason I was really focused in on the Christmas cards that had a picture of the two of us on the front. We were both wearing these weird bluish-grey cloaks. (Though not as weird as the hats that they were wearing.) I started to wake up around here.
First dream I was unskilled, yet strong warrior. I worked as a freelancer mercenary in a small town. One day some knights appeared and told people that they need some help fighting dark lords. I joined them, and we started our journey. We were getting close, and when dark knight attacked my companions escaped frightened. I took a strategy, to run away, and try to strike. Suddenly mystical energies gave me power and I was using spells against the dread champion. We fought until the evening, with the gigantic citadel of molten cheese in the background. Second dream I recall only a fragment of this dream. I was walking down the road. It was cold, everything around was covered with snow. As I walked, I looked up and saw fat, yellow bird fying across the sky.
I remember only brief moments of the dream. I was looking at a dwarf, who was standing in the fortress, near the wall where vampire was closed. He was wearing grey cloak, and he was shouting.
First dream With my friends we were in a post nuclear war city. We were going through some alleys, and we were ambushed by a large group of bandits. We have spread out, but most of them ran after me. I was fighting, and brought them to their knees with a few puches. Then, I ran through some abandoned flats, and met my friend in the power plant. We tried to turn the generators on, and we made it. Second dream I was writing a story about that first dream, and it had even good reviews, although some flaws were spotted. *Dreams about dreams...*
My parents asked me to get a stick unjammed from the door of our family van. I went with a pair of pliers into... not our driveway. For some reason, in the dream we had this huge one story house made out of beige bricks on the next block over in our sub. We also had one of those circular drives. I started pulling on the stick and saw that it went in pretty far. Once I got it out far enough that I could grab it with both hands, I tugged on it and was surprised to see that (somehow) an entire tree had grown inside the frame of the car between the inside and the outside. At one point I tried to drive the van up and down the road. There were all of these traffic cones and this kid was yelling at me for some reason. I went inside and told my parents what I had found, and that I needed a saw to cut the tree apart to get it out of the van. They didn't believe me at first, and I had to show them. They were very surprised too and took some pictures to put on their Facebook profiles. They then told me to hurry up and cut the tree apart because they had to take the van to the shop before we went on a trip. I went into the garage of the big one story house and started looking for a saw. There was a workstation on this concrete terrace about four feet above the main floor. I was poking around when K and her friend walked in. I jumped down to say hello and noticed how floaty gravity seemed. I ran out into the drive and jumped a second time. I easily made four feet and landed softly. I jumped again, this time pushing as hard as I could. I easily made six feet. I nose pinched and became lucid. I jumped and started to fly, but the dream wound up ending. I was watching some very weird HTTYD rendition that took place in a modern city. There was something to do with an underground volcano and lava. I had all these questions about what was happening and why. Why were the vikings from the movie in a modern setting? Something to do with being reincarnated as a stripey brown lemur in the jungle. I was really happy and swinging from branch to branch. It was supposed to be a downgrade from being a human, but this seemed like much more fun.

*Crappy sleep that night, I can't recall much. I was in my home. I was going through the corridor to my room. When I entered it, I saw my older brother. He was sick, and had red pustules all over his face.
