    1. Chaos and the End of....something

      by , 04-27-2011 at 03:09 PM
I had this dream quite a number of times when I was about five and six. I didn't watch the Terminator, or anything related to that at the time. But I always remembered waking up in terror. It was sort of like a night terror because by the time my parents had gotten me calmed down, I couldn't remember what the dream was about. I remembered pictures of things happening. But I could never remember what it was. I didn't know. Over time though, more memories have come back, and I've been able to just vaguely explain it. It'd honestly be easier if I could draw it, but I never have. I'm going to start doing that though.

Anyway, I have always thought of this dream as symbolic. It stood for something. I know it did. I've had psychic/pre-cognitive dreams in the past, and I still do.

      Anyway, here it goes.

      First Time I had Dream:

I was sitting on something. I don't know what it was, and I was holding something rather large. I was in a city some place, because I remember people being there. It was all quiet. But something was wrong and I remember going around and trying to tell people something was wrong and to be "ready". And then everything happened at once. There was this flash of blue light and all hell broke loose. It was like an explosion or something, because everything was slightly tinted after that. I remember panicking because there was this massive crowd of people running for their lives all around me and I could get no where. Then I saw a face. I don't know who it was. Just a face. I could hear a man's voice shouting orders into I guess a microphone or something. He wasn't acting all macho like a drill sergeant, but by his voice you could tell he meant business. Then I woke up screaming.

      Second Time:

      It started out differently.

I was sitting in a building. There were no windows whatsoever, and everything was made out of conrete. I wasn't supposed to be there, but I was. I remember there were also people running back and forth in white coats. I knocked something over and it broke, and one of the white coated men started flipping out on me. Then that ended and I remember running in a panicked fury to a different room, where another white coat was going to press a red button. I started flipping out, trying to stop him from pressing the red button, something about destroying the world. He did anyway, and then all of what happened the first time, happened all over again. And I woke up screaming.

I had the first dream one more time. And then it was it. Since then though, I've had dreams of volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, massive hurricanes, huge tornadoes, and a Holocaust type incident which involved Asian people coming in and sending people to work camps, making some of them go to war, and rationing our food and water (no they were not Chinese. I don't know who they were).

    2. Points Game

by , 04-26-2011 at 01:57 PM (Ancient Memories)
      April 26, 2011

      Non-lucid, fragment, disturbing

I am at my home, in the yard outside. It is mid-afternoon, and the sun is shining. My parents are on their way home, and I am supposed to get as many 'points' as possible. I gain points by shooting things with a small pistol-like object. There are a few birds worth 250 points each, and three cats which are worth 200, 300, and 500 points. Being a cat lover, I am reluctant to do this. My parents arrive home, and I hide in the trees, because I have not gained any points yet. I lay down in the grass as they step out of the van to look for me. Two of the cats walk up to me, and I target them for a total of 500 points. My parents hear the sound and come looking for me. I try to hide deeper.

This is a very strange dream. I am generally not prone to nightmares or anything disturbing like this, but I have been sick lately, and perhaps that or the medicine I'm taking has altered my normal dreams slightly.
    3. Anxiety/evil kid/maya

by , 04-26-2011 at 06:05 AM (Trial and Error)
      Frag#1
I was is an a extreme state of anxiety and could find no relief. I was offered a beer, I told them that I do not drink (and I don't irl) but I ended up drinking it anyway . Slowly as I was drinking I felt my stress leave me. I was so happy to finally be free of my anxiety, but I started to feel guilty that I had drank since I was under age, plus a conversation I had with S irl. I get another drink and sneak around with it trying to find a place to drink it where no one can see me, until I accidentally leave it in an elevator, and when it reopens it is gone. I turn to the people I had been drinking with and say "I just made someones day" and we all laugh. I left the dream just feeling horrible to resorting to drinking to fix my problems, knowing that it would just make them worse.

      Frag#2
I was some evil little boy trying to kill someone. The dream was mixed with me modeling in maya. I was using the maya tools to aim my blasts at him.
There was more to this I just don't remember.

(my recall has sucked lately )
    4. Serial-dream awakening

      by , 04-26-2011 at 03:17 AM (Alpha's dream journal)
(The "awakening" in the title doesn't mean much, but it is the best way to describe the creepy-strange emotion.)

(non lucid) I was in a huge mall that I've never seen before, and I was going up and down the escalator. Then some person walked up behind me and stuck his arm through my chest from behind, and it looked like water. (lucid) This was the first lucid dream I've had in a long time, and I was really excited. The dream started to fade away, and it looked like burning film. I forgot what to do, and I punched through the glass side of the escalator. The pain must have made it clearer, because it stopped fading away.

I remembered what I was reading the day before, that I had to turn into my character. I jumped up and landed on the ground, pushing a square made of rock from the ground. it looked like the portals on minecraft, so I lit it on fire. I walked through and fell onto the ground in the forest where I had to be. Sure enough, there was a mirror there. I looked into it, and saw what I was. it would take a long time and a lot of typing to explain, but I was not a human.

    5. Recurring dreams

      by , 04-26-2011 at 02:44 AM
For as long as I can remember I have had this weird recurring end of the world dream. I first had it when I was about 8 yrs old. I am in another country and everything is in ruins. Very few structures are still standing. I am led by an elderly couple to a truck. There is another truck there with a girl in it. We start riding along and we come to a building where there are giant doors. We are told not to open them. We hear a low rumbling sound. The elderly couple leave us in the trucks. Being curious I open one of the doors an there is a giant creature about 50 ft tall. All of a sudden we are taken out back of the building and the old couple tells us that we have broken the rules and we must pay. The creatures opens its mouth and just when it bites down on us, I wake up.

The girl in my dream I met later in life. She became one of my best friends. To this day, I still have the dream. I just cant shake it. It is getting more frequent in the past few years.

    6. 010: Horrible night

by , 04-25-2011 at 10:13 AM (Tides of Sleep)
      April 25, 2011

      Notes
Hardly slept last night. Went to bed at 1:30am, woke up screaming for my mom. Took me awhile to fall back asleep, not sure when exactly. Woke up finally at 6am. I rarely have outright nightmares. Creepy, ominous, yes. Horrifying? No, not really. If I ever have a nightmare I usually will become lucid and then either stop/change the dream. Although I did do that this time, it was really late and the nightmare was practically already over. Also, three dreams inside of each other. I could make an inception joke, but honestly I'm still creeped out. My dream self didn't realize they were dreams inside dreams. Motifs of nothing, I've never had a dream quite like this. Also, I had dreams this weekend but they weren't too interesting seeing as I lost sleep. Also I wasn't home, so I didn't bother to write them down anyways.

      Entry 010
I'm in Dr. Clark's room. We have some huge essay to write, it's due in 30 minutes, but I'm so tired. I lay my head down on my desk and fall asleep.

I'm in my bed, except I realized later that it was on the wrong side of the room and exact to my old bed back home. I'm half-asleep, my body is already paralyzed and my mind is mostly unconscious. As I'm lying there, about to enter a deep sleep, I feel something on my back. It feels like a hand. For a minute I don't feel particularly worried about this. The hand is running over my back, slipping lower until it runs over my ass. I feel uncomfortable. Then I can feel nails digging into me. I realize there is no hand, but the touch persists. I realize the hand belongs to some kind of demon, and that its intention is to murder me. My body is still paralyzed. I try screaming, but all that comes out of my throat is a strangled grunt. It's not loud enough for anyone to hear. I know that I have to stand up and get out of here. I try to stand, but I can't. I fall to my knees and drag myself to the door. Along the way I see something out of the corner of my eye. It's a little man, about as wide and tall as a bowling pin, dressed in clothes like Charlie Chaplin with white pasty skin, frizzy black hair and huge, staring, yellow eyes. I open the door and drag myself to the hall. I try screaming more, but I'm still not able. I think I see my mom on the couch, but it's dark. I get to the couch, someone's there. I'm safe. I relax, fall asleep by the couch.

I wake up. I'm in bed. Something is touching me. Repeat of the last dream, but as I reach my door this time I think "My bed is on the other wall. Didn't I just have this dream?" and I realize I'm dreaming. My dream self, however, is still panicking. It's screaming at me to get the hell out of the room. The will of my dream self overpowers my lucid self and I fling the door open. There's a blinding white light.

I open my eyes. I'm screaming. My mom is in the doorway.
    7. Covenant attacking earth. Halo themed dream.

by , 04-24-2011 at 01:04 PM (Avatar the last apocalypse lol)
Well, this dream is thankfully fresh in my mind but unfortunately not lucid. But it started out kinda fuzzy I went to my school and when i came in the doors no one was around until I asked if anyone was there. Then everyone came out and I learned that the covenant were attacking earth * I am currently reading a book about halo and thats what is happening in my book right now* so there is a small fragment of my dream were I am in space or seeing a video feed of someone fighting the covenant in space and then it transitions back to the school. Which oddly enough takes place in an unknown room with a bunch of people I don't know and a few I do. I could identify my mom and my aunt the rest were unknown people but the weirdest thing in my mind was the fact that the random people who I had an eerie feeling were a couple of you tubers I am subscribed to but there was a kiddie pool with an alligator in it! and well when time came to leave the school I had to lift it and I was informed by the owners it hates being brushed against fabrics which frightened me a little. so yeah thats where my dream ended. It was very depressing mostly cause of the mood of the people in the dream you know its that mood everyone has in an apocalypse movie where they have only a few hours or so to live and they know they're going to die. so yeah that was pretty sad.

      Lucid Dream 1: 24/4/11

I was at a house full of people I'd never seen before but felt familliar with, it was raining, and I remember telling an old

woman I was cold and needed to go and find my shoes, i walked down the hall way and someone bumped me, i turned around not

exactly sure of what i was going to do, and he walked into a room smiling at me, i kept walking to find my shoes, then i

remember being outside in the rain, but i was searching for my bike, then i said to myself 'this is wrong, i was looking for

my shoes..' then i realised i was wearing my shoes, at this point i told myself 'this is a dream' and suddenly i was laying

on a bench at a school, and the sky was clear, i felt 100% awake, overwhelmed with excitement, i started to feel scared and

told myself to wake up, then i did, by far the most phenomenal experience i've ever had, i still feel shaky and excited,

      trying again tonight.

      Lucidity: 8/10
      Exhilaration: 10/10
      Scenery/aural: 10/10
      Length: 3 - 5 seconds
      Overall: 17/30

    9. Wolf Dream

      by , 04-24-2011 at 03:36 AM
In many dreams of mine, the same fragment has happened:
"I am sitting down in some place, usually my kitchen, when I flip the page of the book I'm reading to a big picture of a wolf staring head-on at me. I feel a small surge of terror when I see it because it's moving and growing as if it was running towards me. My sight swings back out of my body and to my right, and I see the wolf jump out of the book at me, and I wake up."
The wolf image would look kind of like my avatar, but with it's body behind it.

      Non-lucid, WBTB

*I am listening to an isochronic tone designed for WBTB - it has 20 minutes of silence to allow you to fall asleep before coming in with the tone.

I am inside my home, sitting at my computer. My cousin arrives for a visit in his truck (as he will actually be doing today) and I go outside to meet him. |From here the dream skips from afternoon to nighttime, or I am unable to recall the gap between them.| I go out for a walk with my cousin's horse, which is a pale white with large blue spots on it. We head out to the highway, and I believe this is where the iso tone I am listening to kicks in. The highway actually is my bed, and the pavement is my mattress. Despite this obvious hint that I am dreaming, I don't become lucid. The horse falls off to the side, lands on a second mattress, and shrinks to a minuscule size. Passersby are laughing at the fact that I am walking such a tiny animal. As it climbs back up, it grows even larger than before, and the ones who were laughing lose their arrogance and walk on by.
It is at this point the dream becomes more of a nightmare.
The horse is shot from somewhere, and I dive behind it for cover. I hear laughing from a hidden spot in the trees, and I am told I don't have to worry about being shot. I believe them, and get up and walk back home. When I arrive there, I go to my room and begin sorting out a pile of screws and nails I have in my closet. I then remember there were some in my bookshelf as well, and go check that pile. I see a spiderweb attached to this pile, and recoil. I look a bit closer, and realize that it is just a tiny spider, smaller than the eraser of a pencil. Then my eyes focus slightly behind it, and see one the size of my two fists put together. It shifts, and I run out of my bedroom. I poke my head around my bedroom door just in time to see it roll out of it's nest and drop to the floor with a sickening thud. Again, I withdraw in fear, this time informing my family of the situation. They assure me that we have no spiders that large, and I assure them that despite that, I saw one. I go back to confirm that it is there, and I peek my head around the corner again to see it leap from my bed to catch a fly and sit on the floor boastfully devouring it's victim. Later, I am sitting at the supper table with my family recounting the tale of the monstrous arachnid, and they are laughing at my fear, still not aware that I saw a spider like this.
The dream ends as I wake up.
What makes this dream interesting is that I think I can point to the moment where the isochronic tone kicked in, which would be when the highway was made out of my mattress. This was a huge hint towards the fact that I was dreaming, but I didn't quite pick up on it.

    11. Nightmare never ends.

      by , 04-22-2011 at 03:49 PM
Everyone eventually has that special someone in their life. Wether it's a mother, grandmother, aunt, girlfriend, etc.
The special person to me is my girlfriend, i am extremely in love with her and plan to ask her to marriage in a few short years, if we manage to last long enough. But.. everynight for over a month now i've been having these horrible dreams of her either breaking up with me, cheating on me, or dying.... i mean imagine what its like to see the person you love the most DIE almost every other night... thats the worst one, but i mostly just see her cheat or break up with me...
im starting to wonder if shes causing the bad dreams? i mean we dont live with each other, we see each other almost every few days but... if im asking her to marry me then i'll be with her everynight, and i dont know how that will affect my dreams, it would be great if they went away. But i dont think i can take these dreams if they get worse.... i might do something i'll regret...

    12. first controllable lucid dream

      by , 04-21-2011 at 09:54 AM
i can still remember this because what happened inside of it
dream part1 this dream is some kind of mishmosh there is a lot of those

i had body and verbal control we were sitting at a bench in our primary school at night for some reason well we were talking at the bench we were talking about the school trip to some waterpark the night went on so we went inside the school which was a morrisons then i saw nibbler from futurama then i read a newspaper saying about a mysterious killer and nibbler teleported into the vent and went crazy and tried to kill us and i saw a portal a time portal because it was day and the waterpark jumped in it ended
      part 2
i repeated the portal bit again and i started to fall, i hate that feeling and i fell on the floor and got some blood on my mouth you know the matrix yes there was blood on my lips in real life (i died so many times in my dreams it just went on now) so anyway i went into this massive water slide and as i finished i saw some children and as they got closer i saw that they were cyborgs and i started to get chased by them and then i got in a dinghy and flew away

    13. Nightmare: Spooky Cat

      by , 04-20-2011 at 07:21 AM
I was standing in front of my house at night with my GF. We started to cross the street and I looked up the hill to see if a car was coming. Sure enough, I saw bright light coming over the hill fast. I put out my arm to block her and we stepped back onto the curb.

A white van with writing on it came speeding over the hill fast. I tried to read what it said on the side, but it was too dark and the van was moving too fast. It looked to be cursive writing and a phone number in large black lettering. We watched the van speed down my hill, I was pissed, the hill went back up again at the end (contrary to real life) and it made a right turn (heading towards the garden dog street).

From around that same corner came a black cat with a white chest and faintly glimmering green eyes. It ran to our side of the street and made a b-line towards us. I started to walk back to my porch guiding my girlfriend behind me. I tried to startle the mischievous looking cat away, it was not even slightly intimidated. It sped up. We started to make a break for my front door and the cat shot directly at us putting its body between us and the front door.

As it reached the point of blocking our way in, it shot into the air as if levitating up and past the roof. Directly in front of my face.
--I was started awake heart racing. I frantically looked around the room for signs of trouble or weirdness. Zip. I went back to sleep.

    14. I hope I'm dreaming.

      by , 04-20-2011 at 02:11 AM
Okay, Well I woke up around 30 minutes ago and immediatley turned my lights and TV on.

I was laying in my bed, and I thought I was awake. I heard my cat come in the room, you know when the squeeze through the door crack? you can hear there fur brushing against the door. Anyway. I realised that my door was shut tight so I froze. A moment later I felt someone kneeling on my bed then in no time, demonic, echoing screaming in my ear. I woke up - realising that I had been dreaming.

      I hope I'm not grudged.

      Sweet dreams.

    15. 19/04/11 - Weird nightmare

by , 04-19-2011 at 05:06 PM (Nom nom nom, Mmmattelicious...)
      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Good morning! Sucky sleep last night. Woke up in the middle of the night and felt like an ominous presence was in my room. Kinda scary but I fell asleep again and had a weird nightmare.

      23.00: Sleep

      05.10: Rotten eggs
I'm outside of a house with my mom and my sisters. Up on a cliff, my friend Jesper appears. He's got those new shoes with rounded soles, they're completely white but he seems to want them to get even whiter. He sprinkles flour on them and starts doing the moonwalk. Back and forth he slides and he's doing a great job actually. My mom opens up a carton of eggs. "You didn't eat these did you?" she asks me. There's only two left, and I ate the other four. "I did, why?" I ask her. "Well, they're outdated like ten months." I feel like puking. My mom throws one of them down at the ground and the smell! We both run away and my mom starts puking her guts out. I almost vomit but I manage to keep it down. The rest of the dream I'm anxious over how sick I am going to get.

      05.10: Wake up

      Amount of sleep: 6 hours

      Supplements: None

That's it! I'm gonna try to get as much sleep as possible tonight, sleeping night!

      Keep on dreaming, HARE BRA!
