    1. The Llama, the Peacock, and the Princess

by , 11-24-2012 at 02:28 AM (The Dream Magic Experiment)
      Notes: Daydream, ADA

I was in the home of a friend, LP. His parents were there. We were worried they won't accept us, but they seem pretty cool. The place feels very homey. The father was particularly okay, and the mom was actually thinking he's going to end up with another guy friend, LR. We just laughed it off. His father said that he can't help much with the ritual tools though.

I was on the street. Supposedly going home after meeting up with friends. The area looks a bit like in one of my dreams before, and at the same time, the area near Cubao irl, near where we take a jeep going to Eastwood. For some reason, I doubled back and waited for my friends in a place that looks very much like a blend of our high school and college irl. I waited for them, and was thinking of surprising them. A guy friend looks a bit lost and he left some money on top of the bag, which he put on the table. I was going to surprise him by pretending to grab the money, but he barely reacted, and just said he thought I was going home. I told them I had to check my bank account's balance.

I was inside a house with a lot of people. It felt like home, except not sure which home in particular. I went out and saw even more people outside. Like there's going to be a parade, and all of the people are gathering outside the streets. I was thinking of going to a store or something. Then I saw a few people with guns. I wondered what's going to happen to have people carry guns. They don't look like the police either. I hurried back home instead. We talked about what's going to happen and about the guys with guns.

I was in a building. A lot of people are there. There's some sort of a meeting. For some reason, I was hiding. I was looking at the group from a ledge in the building. Then I think a guy noticed me. I hid behind another guy's dead(?) body. I think it was a dead(?) zombie. I used it as a shield as well as a hiding place, but it looked so awkward I'm sure the guy knows I'm there. I heard him shoot the zombie a few times. Then he went a bit around. He's on lower ground. He looks up at me and said something like, "Sorry, I don't know you but...." and he shot me. Only I wasn't dead. He let his guard down, and I just observed him. Then I grabbed his hand to break his little finger. He looked surprised and more amused than afraid.

I am looking at a female friend. She seems dazed. She was holding on a Blackberry. I (or was it someone else?) was pressing stuff on touchscreen. Then she woke up.

I am looking at a caravan of sorts. A llama leading a camel. I commented to someone how tall and proud the llama looks while the camel looked so down and low. I said it's a great metaphor for kings and slaves. The camel's neck was almost nonexistent, and it was very close to the body. On the other hand, it seems that the camel can survive harsher conditions. We arrived at the destination. I saw a huge peacock with it's beautiful tail feathers spread out. It was majestic. It acts as the throne for the princess. It's that huge. However, the princess wasn't sitting on it at the time. She asked the peacock to lay down its tail feathers and it obeyed. There's another woman (is it also the princess?) who was playing with a NDS on the side.
    2. Apocolypse, Llamas, Earthquakes

I was exploring some kind of post apocalypse earth. I was in the desert, with someone else. (I can't remember who) They said we were walking to the "Grand City" that was apparently mankind's last stronghold on the planet or something.
The desert was hot and dry. The sun was low in the sky, and there was not a cloud to be seen.
We walked over a sand dune and saw a huge city. Most of the buildings were damaged but they looked like they were being repaired. I could see people in the streets. The person I was with pointed to a good-size building in the middle of the city. They said that was the capital building. But the most notable feature of the city was the huge river that ran through it.
We entered the city and went to the capital building. It was essentially one huge room with glass walls and concrete supports. Roughly a fifty-foot cube on edge. The ceiling was also concrete.
We entered and the first thing we saw was construction workers putting an additional support column because they thought building was going to fall. Then we came to the leader of the city.
He was some kind of king sitting in the middle of the room. Sprawled out on his throne holding a glass of whine. The dream character I was with and this king started talking. Without warning, the building buckled. I remember seeing people panicking, and debris falling from the ceiling. I started running, back out the door onto the front lawn of the structure.
I realized it wasn't the same building anymore, it was my house. When the earthquake stopped, i saw a fire start inside the house. I went back inside. My grandparents were in there. I asked my grandparents if anything exciting had happened. My grandparents just sort of rambled on pointlessly. Disapprovingly, I got the fire extinguisher and put out the fire.

I was making my way along some railroad tracks, no longer in a desert. I was with that other dream character again, but I cannot remember seeing them or anything, just that sort of feeling that a friend was with me. Until eventually I came to a vaguely familiar home made of pink stucco and orange ceramic tiles on it's roof.
The home seemed to be in a tropical setting, on a hill, surrounded by a couple of palm trees. There was a huge mountain behind it.
I went inside and someone was in there, I cannot remember but they seemed to be good friends with me and the other dream character. Got out my computer and tried to go on minecraft, but the computer had a fatal error.
I remembered the other DC telling me earlier that there had been some kind of Electromagnetic pulse. And apparently it had caused all of the computers on the planet to malfunction.
I can remember the inside of the house being dark. The person who lived there gave us cookies. Then she told me that If I wanted to leave, there was a creature I could mount in the pen outside her house.
I went out to the side of the house. There was a pen that matched the house, a high wall made of pink stucco. The top of the wall was also covered in orange ceramic shingles. There was a large animal that you could ride. I could best describe it as a llama or perhaps a really ugly horse.
There were a couple of stairs made of wood that you could climb to more easily mount it. I got on and started to ride around. The animal was very easy to control, even with no practice.
I started to leave, without the other mysterious DC and while I was walking, I took out a camera, and started making a video cast for the internet. I told people that there was an apocalypse and I was currently riding a llama.

    3. The Llama Guard

      by , 06-14-2011 at 11:23 AM (Dark_Merlin's Dream Journal)
Weird dream about eagle boys pizza. The beginning of the dream is unclear, but I'm sure I was in an Eagle Boys pizza, which was more like a Hogs Breath Cafe restaurant on the outside, and inside. It was some kind of school excursion, perhaps. I was using my school laptop to try and access their webpage to get information - perhaps on the llama, but the internet wasn't working or the website didn't have the information. The page looked something like a router settings page. We were discussing something at the table, I think it was about animals, in specific, pigs?

I remember discussing with a curly haired male - reminiscent of one of my friends about the signature of the Llama which was the security guard of the restaurant. I remember having passed the restaurant in a bus at the time, and trying again to get information about the restaurant on their website.

    4. Zoo Breach

      by , 10-28-1975 at 01:27 AM
Morning of October 27, 1965. Wednesday.

In this dream from age four, I had been exploring Myrick Park in La Crosse, seemingly on my own yet without concern. It is different than in reality, probably more influenced from larger zoo features (or perhaps even a jail from a Western) that I might have seen on television.

There is a brick wall that I notice has an open space, as if several bricks had been taken out. I consider the difference between seeing animals, which look like some sort of llamas combined with large dogs, seen through the vertical bars (on my left), and how the animals might eventually be able to escape through the opening in the brick wall (to my right). I consider that I should move away from the brick wall area so as not to encourage the animals to escape. There is not a feeling of fear, only wariness.

This dream utilizes “wall breach waking symbolism” as a sustained waking transition, which has remained a lesser but consistent type of waking symbolism for over fifty years of devoted dream study and validation. It does not always have implications of possible danger. Still, a far more intense version can be seen with “Look Out for the Bull” from December 12, 1965 (though recurring), where a bull actually crashes through the wall (near a corner) in a relative’s house upon subliminal anticipation of the waking prompt.

Doorway waking symbolism (where a doorway is naturally rendered as the exit point of the dream state) has been far more common since early childhood. I do not think there is much difference between doorway waking symbolism and wall breach waking symbolism (as the dynamics work the same way, though more so with induction by contrast, in apex lucidity and conscious control of the dream state) other than perhaps the reticular activating system functioning with slightly different dynamics, which may be based on how fast or prioritized the preconscious dynamics are, which in turn may relate to how deep (or for how long) I have been sleeping or how loud the real environment’s ambiance is in intruding into the dream state.
