      I come back to home. End of week 21 was a little mess because of that - clearing my cabin for new crew mate, checking and packing my staff, traveling, drinking in hotel with old crew members, unpacking my laguage in home etc. In week 22 I was very lazy and I did nothing for my training. Its not like I was unmotivated or something happened. It was pure laziness. In recompensation I will expanse my training by 1 week.

      Week 23 was difficulty for me. It was hard to come back to my rutine especially I was in "new" enviroment (new I mean new for this training. Before my day schedule was dependent by my work. Now all my days are free and I need to start new rutine

      In week 20 I was very sick. Enough for not being able to work or to keeping my training. This is why I marked week 20 as "N/A".
      Good news is I checked how efficient my training is (by doing WILD) and in last 30 days I had 4 LD's + 1 dream about LD. Unfortunately I don't have data how many times I tried to reach LD but I feel that reaching LD is right now much more easier than before. Maybe after the training I will start in competition as Intermediate League?

      I have conclusion: If my day is chaos or random things are happening that make me hard to maintain awareness. Right now I'm on Grate Lakes in USA/Canada. Ports are very close so that make voyages very short (Entry/Departures often are in night so my sleep schedule is unsettle). On deck many regular jobs are prohibited and/or limited because of local laws so chief officer and captain are giving us orders 'ad hoc'. Every day is different and I cannot enter into my rutine. This is distracting for some reason but this conclusion is very valuable. I think similar things are happening in dreams - dreams usually are disordered and random. Plot changes very quick, also every dream in every day is pretty different and this can be distracting.
      Learning how to maintain awareness without entering into rutine can be a key to lucidity.

      On the end of week 11 and entire week 12 I have a little bit regrestion. Porbably I'm tired after compatition so I will take 2-3 days of rest from my practice.

      I think that my dreams are a little bit more detailed that before but i'm not sure. Also I think my dream fragments are longer.

      I started to think what statistic value suppose to describe my goals. Because usually I have 1 fecund night when I have a lot of dreams and 1 bad night when I have 0 dreams (usually it is caused becaus of my job nature) and avarage value or min/max aren't suitable. Median value will be better.

      I see my progress is slow. That's good because I belive the slow progress make long-term benefits. Also this project is my first time when I'm systematic with my dreaming hobby for so long time. That satisfy me.

      Dream Recalling
      In this two weeks I started writing down my dreams but I don't have many of them. Good news is my dreams are starting to be much more aware (but not lucid) and recalling is slighty better. I call this "High Aware Non-Lucid Dream" (HANLD)
      Funny thing is once I was aware of my own snoring. Saddly it didn't make me lucid.

      Day awarness
      My goal-to-goal system made me aware how difficult ADA is. It is not a problem with being disciplined nor motivated. The big deal is with awarness by it self. I can regulary come back to ADA but I can't keep my awarness more than 2-3 minutes. It really piss me off, but now I know where is my problem and that mean I can try to fix it.
      Also I thought about g2g system and PoA and I think it is good system but I need to make correction factor to make PoA more accurate. More about goal-to-goal and Points of Awarness I will write in second DJ entry.

      Day awarness
      Similar like in meditation section - everything is acording to plan. Also I think it is better to change rating system. It's much easier if I will split ADA into smaller parts. I call this "goal-to-goal system". Keeping awarness as long as possible is doomed to failure. Instead I keep awarness to designited moments (goals). If I reach goal I recive "Point of Awarness" (PoA) and I will set next goal. The goals should to be clearly defined and easy to remember(e.g if I'm reading, the goal should be like "until I reach page XYZ". If I'm running on treadmill, my goal should be like "until I pass XYZ kilometers". Goal should be clearly as much as possible). Also 1 PoA is equivalent of 1 minute of regular ADA session so I can judge how much PoA I will recive after reaching goal. Additional I think I can add "dificultness factor". Awarness is much easier to keep during walk than during studying or reading so PoA is determined by time AND activity.
      Automatically activity (walking, being idle, simple jobs etc) x0.5 PoA
      Regular activity (talking, meditating, gym excercices etc) x1.0 PoA
      Distracting activity (learning, reading, watching movies, playing games etc) x1.5 PoA

      Still I need to think about it so officialy (in my raports) I'm still using old system. If you have any ideas go ahead. Commentary section is free to use

      After this 2 weeks I can say something is happeing. I have much more halfdreams before I fall asleep than ussually. And my mind is keeping partial awarness by itself in that half dreams. For example I had half dream about someone ask me to bring something and I had thoughts "Why? I'm not even here (because right now I'm laying in bed so of course I cannot be in other place)". Sometimes I have arguing with myself xD My half sleeping brain is generating weird thoughts and my partial awarness is fighting back. It looks funny for me but saddly it make me harder to fall asleep because always I wake up after realize I'm in half dream

    10. 6 month plan - "Bon Voyage!"

      I came onboard 05.07 instead of 04.07 so I have 1 day on delay but it’s okay. In this port we have a lot of working so I’m sleeping when I can but we departure today. The good news is my watch keeping time in ports are 08-12 and 20-24. I have 4h of working and 8h of resting (if there is no extraordinary work) so I can try with WILD/DILD (I already know that 4h of working is good for LD during naps). On voyage my working time is 08-12 and 13-17 if there is no extraordinary work. At 12 I have lunch, and planned meditation. I will dont nap because usually I have circa 35 minutes for resting and this is not enough to fall asleep.

      In this three days my plan is going rough. I meditated twice, and I have dream tags from one night but I’m taking it easy. This and next week I treat as warming up

    11. Plan for skills improving

      04.07.23 I'm going on vessel to work so I prepared plan how I wish to improve my skills. Because of inregular sleep schedule I decided to focus on side skills instead of techniques. That include:
      -Dream recall
      -Meditation
      -ADA and general walking awarness
      -Last and first thought recall
      -First awarness after waking up

      I will try to write down weekly report in DJ. It's depend of my internet connection but I think this will be not big problem. Also i'm open minded so if you have some advice go ahead

      Dream recalling
      I will full describe one dream and rest of dreams will be write down via tags. I will write down dreams 5 times in week to prevent myselft from burnout and colidation with my duties.

      Recalling at beginning: 0-1 at good quality and/or 0-3 at any quality
      Goal: 2-3 at good quality and/or 4-6 at any quality
      Month 1: 0-1 at good quality and/or 0-3 at any quality
      Month 2: 1 at good quality and/or 1-3 at any quality
      Month 3: 1-2 at good quality and/or 2-4 at any quality
      Month 4: 2 at good quality and/or 3-5 at any quality
      Month 5: 2-3 at good quality and/or 4-5 at any quality
      Month 6: 2-3 at good quality and/or 4-6 at any quality

      Score is calculating via arithmetic mean in week period.


      Meditation
      I will meditate twice per day - after lunch and before sleeping. I will meditate 5 days in week. Reason is the same like in Dream Recalling section

      Goals: 2x20 minutes
      Month 1: 2x5 minutes
      Month 2: 2x7minutes
      Month 3: 2x10 minutes
      Month 4: 2x12 minutes
      Month 5: 2x15 minutes
      Month 6: 2x20 minutes


      ADA and general day awarness
      I will try to be aware as much as possible. Because I can be aware independently from my activites so there is no excuses and I will practice ADA everyday.
      My dreamsign is night (or darkness) so also I relate my “Hukif’s Hook” with awarness of daytime.

      Goal: Reach “very high awarness” level
      Month 1: “Non-zero” (awarnes uptime > 0% of waking time)
      Month 2: “Occasionally” (awarness uptime 5-15%)
      Month 3: “Low awarness” (awarness uptime 15-25%)
      Month 4: “Moderate awarness” (awarness uptime 25-35%)
      Month 5: “High awarness” (awarness uptime 35-45%)
      Month 6: “Very high awarness” (uptime 45-60%)

      Of course this will be very subjectively. I have no device to meansure my awarness level



      Last and first thought recall
      This is my experimental exercise. It is working in the same way like dream recalling but instead of dream I will force mayself to recalling last remembered moment before falling asleep and first moment after waking up. The goal of this exercise is observe border in memory between reality and dream.

      Because this is experimental and non-offical exercise I have no goals.

      Goal of this exercise is decreasing time what I need to aware myself after waking up.

    12. Miracle within the dream

      It was weird but aparently i was in another city that look just like the one i used to live. I knew i was far away from my home but everything seem familiar. I started walkind down a street and when i reach a corner there was a big church. I looks like there was a wedding to be held later and people were preparing everything for it. I walk into the church and look around. At the door was a bed where a girl should sleep thru the nigth. I knew that girl, she is from the real world. Sudenly the next day came and the girl was death. I saw her and i knew someone had kill her. I started yelling that i would find the killer but nobody was around. I walk around the corner and pass three blocks, they all had churches in the cornes. When i reach the third block there was a big church again. It was painted in white and had blue strips on the edges. I walk in and went to the altar. I pray for the girls soul and then walk out. Something toll me to go back in the church. I saw a statue of a saint. After staring at it for a while the statue move her eyes. My heart started to beat fast and strong but i felt very peacefull.

    13. The Sea Voyage

      I know it's been a while, but I feel like this dream is worth writing down. I'll try to get back into the schedule.

      I'm waiting for a ship at it's port. I don't specifically recall what my destination was, but I need to get on it. It finally arrives, and I get on. It starts out as a peaceful voyage, but as time goes on, the sea begins to get rough. Soon, we find ourselves steering away from waves and trying desperately to stay on board and keep the ship afloat. Sadly, we don't succeed. As a mighty wave crashes against the ship, our boat capsizes, sending us all overboard. I find myself swimming through the rough tides, searching for others. I finally find a few of my friends and we begin to swim to shore. After a while of swimming, we come across an odd, carnivalesque island.

      We're greeted by an odd looking man, who's tending to the entrance of a roller-coaster. He welcomes us and informs us that the only way to reach the center of the island is through the roller-coaster. As I get on it, I can't help but feel that I've been on the ride. The ride is horror-themed, and pretty basic, providing weak scares and basic horror elements, up until the end. We round a corner and see a bloodied woman, whispering to herself in the dark, when she sees us, she lets out a blood-curling scream. Our trail then turns away and goes down a drop before ending. While I'm exiting the ride, I awake.
