    1. 17-10-12 Full Episode of Reborn + Other Show, Hypnagogic Episode

      by , 10-13-2017 at 04:46 AM
I basically dreamt the plot of a full episode of Heroes, basically the first episode of a new season of the canceled 'Reborn' series from 2015. It focused on the father of Nathan and Malina, and showed a bit of his origin story. Most of it took place in Italy, 2006. His name was Pierre Gasly, which also happens to be the name of a Formula One driver (a racing series I follow religiously). He was in Italy with his wife/girlfriend, who eventually turned on him and became the villain of the story. The story started with some comic-book style narration (some of the scenes literally played out in front of me as pages of a 9th Wonders comic book), in which he spoke about his powers (it was implied he was ludicrously powerful) and said how his mother always said he was special. Anyway... the evil girlfriend was eventually defeated. I saw the next scene through the eyes of Pierre, where he approached Angela Petrelli, who was sitting on a bench just outside the Italian village. She showed him a 9th Wonders comic, featuring the exact scenes I just witnessed earlier in the dream. There was also a scene with Claire Bennet, who was apparently on vacation (with her folks) to Italy in 2006.

After waking, I decided to close my eyes some more. I immediately got hypnagogic 'flashes', like a dream while being awake. I saw two kids, no older than 8, walking along a waterfront promenade. I knew a certain event would happen and they would fall in the water and (presumably) drown. I decided to watch, and see if 'destiny' would really happen. It did. Like clockwork, right when they were supposed to, the kids smashed through the low wall (!!!) separating them from the water, and fell into said water. I decided I couldn't just stand there and let it happen, and decided to jump in and save them. I was half awake at this point and it felt like I was controlling every aspect of that dream, not just my own actions.

I dreamt an entire episode of a show I invented myself, right there in that dream. I don't recall anything about it, other than that the plot appeared to make sense.

    2. Whose god is their belly

      INT. CHURCH - DAY

A breakfast of pastries, cheesecakes, and cobblers on two right-angled tables with white tablecloths invites a crowd of diners. They mill about indecisively while women stand ready to dish out the food with plastic spatulas.

A white inclined plane appears in space. I rest on it. Suddenly it turns on a hinge. My astral body falls with that familiar jolt. Still conscious enough to self observe, i smile in my half sleep, recognizing what just happened: "Ah yes, that might have been an OBE!"

    3. Roller coaster with man-eating dinosaurs!

by , 04-02-2016 at 11:35 PM (Awake to take in the view...)
So I have an insane amount of crap to get done in the next two weeks. But I had to stop by and write this dream down, because it was awesome. This was essentially my first successful WILD.

I only slept 5 hours last night (usually sleep 6.5-7.5), so I laid down for a nap when I had a spare moment - around 1:30 PM my time. I only had 25 minutes or so to sleep. My body has been really tense lately, so I focused on relaxing my muscles completely as I laid there. As I did, I noticed my body going relatively quickly into sleep paralysis. I let myself descend into the dream that followed.

It was hazy and not super vivid, but it was definitely a dream and I was definitely lucid! I found myself falling until I was on a roller coaster with a very good friend of mine. It was a sunny day as well. This roller coaster was cool because I had some degree of control over where it went and what it did. We went through all sorts of environments. As we rode, there were these giant dinosaurs and snakes leaping up trying to eat us. One smaller theropod did successfully bite my arm, but since I had control, it had no effect on me and I really didn't feel any pain. They were all just part of the ride, in essence! For one portion, we reached an apex and then went backwards (sort of like Expedition Everest in Disney World, only steeper). I think music was playing, but I can't remember clearly. We even passed by a giant image of my friend in the air, and a factory filled with inventions!

Unfortunately, I think I involuntarily moved or something, and woke up after that. D: However, I was able to get myself back into sleep paralysis for a few more minutes, and kept my eyes open this time. I stared at the light right above me (in the real world) and saw what looked like a squirrel sticking out of it, as though it were popping out of a hole on the ceiling. It looked around the room curiously. Reminding myself that it was just a hypnogogic hallucination, I attempted to change it with a limited degree of success. It turned into a few other mammals, then a man's face with a beard, then a lady. After that I woke myself up fully because my alarm was about to go off, and my roommate came in right then too.

Freaking awesome! I need to try this WILD thing more often.
    4. Senses Initiated Lucid Dream (SSILD) First attempt

      by , 02-04-2016 at 10:01 PM
Yesterday night I've tried the SSILD technique, it was totally new for me (even if sometimes when I have problems to falling to sleep I use a similar technique, but I never spotted the relation with the LDs).

I had a very strange experience:
I've done the cycles (brief and normal ones) but i think I got caught up in some kind of hypnagogic hallucinations or maybe a dream itself. Basically at some point I was convinced of doing the cycles but I was actually seeing images of planets and galaxies, traveling back and forth between them. For the all time that I was seeing these things I was actually convinced that I was awake doing the normal cycles before getting into sleep, just like it happens when you see or do something odd in a dream but in the narrative of the dream itself is a perfectly normal thing.

At some point I saw the word "sleep" in my visual field, and I moved it in a infinite symbol shape hoping that this could help me to relax and finally fall asleep. It was a feeling quite intense, and I actually woke up from this dream/hypnagogic state, hearing a loud noise in my right ear (a mixture between a scratchy noise and a popping one, like when there is a changing of pressure on a plane for example, but louder), and feeling almost all my body caught up in vibrations.
I've tried to relax and get back to sleep but it only woke me up.
I've done the Reality checks but I was really awake. Sadly I didn't had any LD during the night, I think that I was awake for part of the night (I've kept doing RC regularly to be sure of it) or if I was sleeping I don't remember the dreams, which is something odd because I always remember my dreams.
I've also tried the technique this afternoon for a quick nap but still no luck, I will try again this night.
    5. 9/21/04 - telepathic dream thing I had a little while ago

by , 09-21-2014 at 06:59 PM (Leaving the matrix)
(Hypnagogic Hallucination): So I slightly woke up into the state between asleep and awake sometime in the dark early morning, and heard my mom and half sister talking, then I started to hear my dad talking (my dad whom I haven't spoken to or seen in years and would like to keep it that way, so you can imagine how bizarre it would be to hear him talking in my house to my mom and half sister all chill like everything's cool) to my mom and half sister. This made me super confused, and the first thing my sister and I would do in such a situation would be confide in each other but I was way to drowsy to even get up so without even doubting that I had the ability I started to telepathically communicate to my sister who was sleeping in her room next to mine, I communicated to her a thought, but if I were to put it into words It was something like 'Do you hear this?' and she instantly communicated back to me into my knowing that 'something is wrong here'. (Then I instantly fell into sleep)

So later in the morning when I woke up fully I realized more fully what I did earlier, and waited for my sister to wake up to ask her if she experienced me communicating to her last night. When she woke up, she wanted to tell me about her dream she had, so I let her and I was gonna tell her about the telepathic thing after. She told me that she was having a nice dream until suddenly it was shot into a dream where we were in our old childhood bedroom sitting indian style across from each other. We both looked up at the same time, making perfect eye contact and we knew that something was wrong and that the door had to be locked. She jumped up and locked the door immediately. After it was locked we both heard our dad storming around and we made eye contact again because we knew he was coming and we knew locking the door was the right thing to do.

So my paranoid hypnagogic hallucination made me communicate telepathically to my sis while she herself was dreaming, which threw her into a nightmare on the topic I was communicating to her about I'm thinking....
