    1. Zombies. Island conqueror. Witch

by , 02-18-2021 at 09:18 AM (DJ of lucid goals and how it goes)
I've dreamt about zombies hunting me the two last nights. I got eaten alive once which always hurts. A dark coulor theme in the city with survivors following me. I have a gun and shoot a zombie that is about to eat my shoulder from behind but my gun turns into a toy gun and doesn't have any effect.

I'm on an island with some people. My family is there and we are about to explore. A man says that he claims this part of the island and that we have to go away. I feel bad because he is the boss and I can't oppose him.

I'm hunted by a witch in my house but know it's a dream suddenly. I think about hugging her but then I think about how she could hurt me and I loose my confidence. I fly out but it's not that pleasant since I was hunted.
    2. The creepy monster sang me a song! And then killed me.

Two nights ago, I had a dream about a creepy monster. It started out as an orange snake, female. Then it turned into an evil monster. Apparently, it was called a "ground Shrek", and despite the reference to a kid's movie, it was actually quite terrifying.

It had glowing yellow eyes, and a mouth that was filled with sand. It sang a song as it began eating/killing everyone, and it went like this:

"...And we shall be appointed view
      Of earth's eternal sleep."

There were a few lines before it but I couldn't make them out. It kept singing this creepy ditty over and over again as it killed people, and its voice was now deep, masculine, and hollow. The song had a tune similar to a church hymn that I know, "Go Forth With Faith", which for some reason makes it even creepier.

It raced towards me, and I couldn't get away in time. The last thing I heard inside of its mouth was this song, and I fell into the sand that fell even further into a black void. At that moment, I believed that I was facing death, and I would finally see what the afterlife was like, if it existed. Then I woke up. Terrifying, but cool.
    3. Roller coaster with man-eating dinosaurs!

So I have an insane amount of crap to get done in the next two weeks. But I had to stop by and write this dream down, because it was awesome. This was essentially my first successful WILD.

I only slept 5 hours last night (usually sleep 6.5-7.5), so I laid down for a nap when I had a spare moment - around 1:30 PM my time. I only had 25 minutes or so to sleep. My body has been really tense lately, so I focused on relaxing my muscles completely as I laid there. As I did, I noticed my body going relatively quickly into sleep paralysis. I let myself descend into the dream that followed.

It was hazy and not super vivid, but it was definitely a dream and I was definitely lucid! I found myself falling until I was on a roller coaster with a very good friend of mine. It was a sunny day as well. This roller coaster was cool because I had some degree of control over where it went and what it did. We went through all sorts of environments. As we rode, there were these giant dinosaurs and snakes leaping up trying to eat us. One smaller theropod did successfully bite my arm, but since I had control, it had no effect on me and I really didn't feel any pain. They were all just part of the ride, in essence! For one portion, we reached an apex and then went backwards (sort of like Expedition Everest in Disney World, only steeper). I think music was playing, but I can't remember clearly. We even passed by a giant image of my friend in the air, and a factory filled with inventions!

Unfortunately, I think I involuntarily moved or something, and woke up after that. D: However, I was able to get myself back into sleep paralysis for a few more minutes, and kept my eyes open this time. I stared at the light right above me (in the real world) and saw what looked like a squirrel sticking out of it, as though it were popping out of a hole on the ceiling. It looked around the room curiously. Reminding myself that it was just a hypnogogic hallucination, I attempted to change it with a limited degree of success. It turned into a few other mammals, then a man's face with a beard, then a lady. After that I woke myself up fully because my alarm was about to go off, and my roommate came in right then too.

Freaking awesome! I need to try this WILD thing more often.
    4. (June 25, 2015) Orca #4, Open Wide

      by , 06-25-2015 at 11:13 PM
Just a short dream fragment. I can not remember where I started or where I ended in the dream, just a small piece from the middle of the plot. An odd dream, but odd dreams usually make for a good read.

I was at some sort of pool or aquarium. There was a lot of white concrete and blue water inside the room I was in. It looked similar to an indoor pool set up. It was daytime I believe. An Orca and I were out of the water on the concrete floor just hanging out near the waters edge. We were the only ones there. It was a relatively smaller orca. Probably measuring about 15-17 feet. Small dorsal and pectoral fins. Judging by the overall length and fin sizes I am going to guess it was most likely female. This time the external patterns was correct; the eye patch was right, the saddle patch was normal looking, the underside white, and all the black was right (The orca in the previous dream had a unusual and unique pattern). The first place I remember standing during this fragment was by the orca's tail. I walked up in front of her and we exchanged looks. Her mouth was partially open and I wondered if she was going to eat me. She then opened her mouth wide open. My curiosity took over a bit as I walked up to her and peered into her mouth, observing. Instead of the normal pinkish color with black spots on the roof of the mouth, it was all completely white like the white on the outside of her body. I noticed it seemed odd but I did not become lucid. I leaned in, over her bottom jaw till my shoulders were hovering over her tongue. I leaned in far enough to lose my balance and I fell down on my chest onto her tongue. Before I could do anything I was swallowed in the blink of an eye. It was immediately dark and I could feel myself sliding down her throat unable to move. I came to a halt, now stuck in her stomach. It was dark, cramped, and soft, but it wasn't wet like I imagined it would be, only a little damp. it was a tight squeeze. I was curled up with my knees up to my chest and head pointed down. I was wondering how long I would be stuck here. Only 10 seconds passed by and suddenly she pushed me out of her body. I was back in the pool room again on the ground, unharmed throughout the whole thing. It all happened so fast I was still trying to comprehend what just occurred. Orcas are very social animals and I think she was afraid to lose her only companion there(no one else was there), despite it(me) not being another orca. Before I could stand back up the dream recall ended.
