      Do you think this counts as anachronistic naming, or am I just getting lazy?

      WBTB after #148 (which was better), so I'm posting this one on its own.

      This may have almost been a WILD.

      When I come to, I'm lying on the floor. I'm also dreaming. I place my hands on the floor in front of me and run them through the grey shag carpet, trying to stabilize.

      I get up, and go to walk out the door. I notice the lights are off. I decide to test whether I can turn them on and off, since light levels often change during my dreams. I flick the switch, but nothing happens. Huh.

      I'm walking through the hallway, feeling the rolled on paint, trying to remember what I was supposed to do.

      I pop my head into a bedroom. There are people lying all over. There are a few on the bed, a few more lounging on the floor.

      "Hey," I ask my in-dream roommate, a girl on the bed who looks like Halle Berry. "Have you seen Zoe?"

      "She said she'd be at the party tonight."

      The dream fades into the party. I'm somewhat surprised; that's almost like teleportation.


      Lose recall.

      My parents drop me off at an apartment in downtown Calgary. I have two half-empty cardboard boxes with me. Both my mom and my dad are very disapproving about my decision to move to Calgary.

      We're driving through downtown, away from the skate park my brother wanted to go to. I see a couple of the people from the No Limits parkour group (I don't know them IWL), practicing as we drive by. I point them out to the other people in the car.

      Different dream.

      Zoe has a little brother, in this dream. I steal a set of Janitor's keys from him and he chases me through the building.

      Some quick backstory, for context.

      Selina is a girl I knew in high school. She showed up once in a previous dream. The two of us never spent much time together, but we got along fine. From what I remember, Selina is a very nice person.

      Jesse, I also went to high school with. We didn't get along, and though we're distantly related (small towns, eh?), we really don't share any of the same viewpoints. At all.

      I met Zoe Killion a few years ago, at a fine arts-related event. We've been friends ever since. She has a younger sister, whose name is (not really) Ava.

      This dream relates to Nomad's RPG. Vaguely.

      The good of one, versus the good of many.


      We are in a forest, surrounded by tall, black-barked trees. The edges of the clearing are choked with thick underbrush, and the lilac leaves and tall grasses tickle against the back of my t-shirt. The sky is streaked with the orange of the setting sun, which is hidden by the trees ahead of me.

      The group is gathered in a large circle, sitting cross-legged on the ground and facing inwards. I look around the circle, cataloging each face. I know all of these people. All of them are my age, and they're from all over the world, these people I've met in waking life.

      We've been stranded here, I realize.

      "It'll be one of them," says Jesse, pointing at me and - Zoe, sitting to my left. "Look at you two! Your spots are right next to the forest! Anything could come by and grab you."

      I'm lucid, not even feeling the need for a reality check. I frown. I can feel the dark, wolf-like presence lurking in the shadows behind me. Wordlessly, effortlessly, I call up a wall of mirrors on the other side of the clearing, confident that I'll be able to see the creature coming.

      I recognize the mirrors as a part of Nomad's first task, and I decide to stay here to play out the rest of the game. I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror: short blond hair, black clothes... everything gets a little fuzzy.


      Who cares about the many? I just don't want it to be -

      "- anyone," says Zoe, a bit sharply. "All we've been told is that one of us is going to die."

      "And if that happens," says Jesse, "Then the rest of us will be safe until tomorrow night!"

      Half of the table stands up at these words, shouting at each other. They're leaning across the round, stone table, ready to escalate into violence.

      The sunset is fading into darkness.

      Selina is standing up, ready to play the mediator. To get everyone to calm down, and work together, and I see my opportunity.

      I squeeze a hand into a fist under the table, and Selina collapses, dropping to the ground like a marrionette whose strings have been cut. Her internal organs have been liquefied, some of her bones have been ground into dust, and I'm pretending to panic along with the rest, pushing through the crowd as someone yells "WHAT HAPPENED!" and "Did you see?" and I'm pressing two fingers against her carotid artery, checking for a pulse that I know won't be there.

      "She's dead." I say quietly, and the faces around me reflect both horror and relief.

      The rules don't apply to monsters.

      I twist open the back door on a blue van, crawling in the back to reach for a case. It's orange, and the outside is covered in foam. My fingers sink into it as I lock it, latch it, make sure nothing is going to open it by accident.

      "Everyone's still trying to figure out what happened," says a voice from behind me.

      I crawl out of the van, resting the case upright on the bumper.

      "I mean, one second she was alive, you know?" says Ava, rubbing her left arm with her other hand. "Everyone thinks it was something supernatural, a new kind of monster from the forest."

      "It probably was." I say.

      "That's the briefcase." Ava nods at the orange case I'm holding. "The one that'll kill us if we go near it. So, it's safe now?" She makes a grab for it.

      "Don't touch that!" I snap, hitting her hands away. Idiot, of course it will still kill you! It's just that nothing is going to attack you outright - at least for now.

      I slam the door shut on the van, and walk away from the camp, still carrying the orange case so I can hand it over to my employer.

      I'm on no side but my own.

      "We're leaving!" says the Matron as she paces the inside of her ship, the flowing fabric of her dress trailing behind her. "Get the rest of the crew."

      "And the survivors?" I ask.

      The Matron growls. "I meant to capture all of them, but we're on a deadline."

      I nod, and turn to leave.

      "If you should happen across Miss Killion, of course," says the Matron coldly, "Bring her to me."

      I pass Ava as I leave the ship. She has her arms crossed, and is guarding the gangplank. She winks at me, and I allow myself a small smile.

      I'm certainly not on yours.

      I hit the drunk crewman over the back of the head with a bottle. It shatters over him and he collapses to the ground, dead weight. His equally drunk friend, who was about to attack me, looks from the unconscious man to the razor-sharp bottle neck in my hand. The man stumbles away, apologizing, and promising to go back to the ship.

      I sigh, and pick up the unconscious man, swinging him into a fireman's carry over my shoulders. I turn to Zoe and nod in the direction that the man just ran in. We start walking.

      "So let me get this straight," says Zoe. "We're working with the bad guys. Who want to kill me."

      "Because the Matron has the only transportation off the island."

      "Who wants to kill me."

      "She won't," I say, grinning.

      You really should have seen this coming.

      "You can't touch her." I say. I'm feeling gleeful, and I'm sure that I'm radiating an air of smugness that's setting the Matron on edge. Well, that and the fact that I stole away her first prize in manipulation.

      "You can't do this." She hisses.

      Except that I can. If I own Zoe's soul, the Matron can't touch her. I would be obliged, even within all of the complicated truces and agreements we have with one another, to pay back any harm threefold.

      I don't actually own Zoe's soul. But the Matron's not about to question my integrity. She has too much to lose.

      The Matron's sulking is so pronounced that I have to laugh. "I'm the devil!" I tell her, "Did you really think that I wasn't after anything for myself?"

      09/14/10 - No recall. None. Very little sleep.

      09/15/10 - Illegible handwriting. Apparently this was a dream about drinking.

      I'm on a family vacation to the States. There's an entire bulletin board dedicated to the "Ground Zero Mosque" in the lobby of the hotel. This starts me off on a rant about religious tolerance.

      The Joker kidnaps two children. They're probably more trouble than they're worth.

      I find a swimming pool in the shape of a tea infuser.

      I'm driving my dad's old Ford truck. We're carrying something explosive, and if we hit anything suddenly, everything will go up in flames. Suddenly, the brakes are failing, and I have three options: I can drive into a fence, a pile of logs, or a swamp.

      We hit the swamp, and the truck sinks into the muck and stops there. It's not sinking any farther though.

      My dad turns around and looks at me. He's about to start yelling.

      "Good thing this is a dream, right?" I say sheepishly.

      Pause.

      "Hey, this is a dream!"

      I spend the rest of the dream climbing buildings. I'm having trouble flying, but I find that if I swing my arms and move my feet, I can walk vertically up the side of walls.

    4. Take the Phone

      The location of this dream was unfamiliar to me, but I knew I was at a friend's house. This house was a bungalow, single-story, with light tan stone as the exterior with white windows and a white door. It was out somewhere in the country, placed away from a single strip of highway, connected by a smooth, slightly uphill asphalt driveway. On either side of the property were other houses, spaced generously apart, and there were tall evergreens at the sides of the yards acting like fences. It was daytime, and I knew this as the dream began, but it was as if the sky was toned down. The colors were the same as they'd be during the day, but in a darker hue, like someone had mixed the blue with black.

      In the center of the driveway of the house, which two cars could drive down side-by-side, was a silver car that looked rather modern, almost like a Nissan 350z. It looked "warped", as many things do in a dream, but still realistic. It's difficult to say what exactly was warped about it.

      I was standing in the driveway with a girl around the age of twenty; she was my friend, and also the person who owned the house. She told me that there was someone in the backyard with a shotgun, and that she ran out here to get my help. I must have been at the house for some while, then. But how did she think I'd be able to stop this intruder? At that moment, I became lucid, saying "yes!" and looking around. My lucidity wasn't high enough for me to remember my dream goals or act too consciously, unfortunately. Because of this I decided to just go to the backyard and apprehend the person. Losing lucidity almost as quickly as it came, I veered from going to the backyard (down the side of the house) to going up a few steps and banging on the front door. The door was solid wood that'd been painted white, and there was a fancy glass window on it, almost frosted-looking. There was darkness behind the window, and a dim yellow glow as if all the lights but one were off. The intruder had gone from being behind the house to inside the house.

      The door opened quickly and I stepped back. A man (probably Mexican) was looking at me; he had a short beard and his eyes looked as if he hadn't slept in a few days. He pulled back a bit, back into the house, and then came out of the house, closing the door behind him. We were both right up against each other, and then I realized he was holding a cell phone. It was one of those chunky ones from back in the day, the ones that were the size of bricks. It was light gray in color and rather squareish.

      He stared at me, shifting his weight over from one foot to the other. He then held the phone out towards me, looking at it and then back at me. "Take it," he told me in a fairly dark and heavy voice. The last thing I remember is staring down at the phone, becoming lucid, and then waking up. I DEILDed into another dream.

      I was talking to my friend about raising money for my friends mum and my crush walked in and sed he wud give it to me i sed no no no but he sed yes... so his mum sed i only want his money nothing else so then i wanted to talk to him and we was in a dark black room with 2 sofas and i sat infront of his and sed i love u for who u are not what u are i dont want ur money i want who u have inside u and i started crying and i was expecting him to hug me and then after 6 seconds he kissed me and it actually felt like he was kissing me and i could taste it and everything. Im really freaked out Someone help me!
    6. 1st recorded dream

      I've stopped smoking recently and its made me have lucid dreams for the last 2 months, I need to record them because I think there is more to them then just a random sequence of thoughts in my subconscious mind. What, why, where and how - I don't know but I think its deeper than that for me.

      I keep dreaming about oceans or lakes or swimming pools. I had one yesterday in which I swam, I never dream of swimming maybe its because I don't know how to in real life. I've dreamt I've drowned a few times before....but what surprises me I always thought someone in the situation would panic. I seem so calm in these but I feel like I am calling for help and no voice comes out of my mouth. And then I cant breathe.

      Most of my dreams are nonsensical pieces of my life sown together in non sequential almost nonsensical pieces. After all whose dreams are not?

      Notes Normal Dream Lucid Dream

      For the past week my recall has been terrible, with me only remembering a couple of fragments. This morning I woke up and started thinking through a dream - still half asleep. Suddenly I realised, "I should be writing this down!" So I hurriedly turned over and started writing. Part of the dream was lost, the part I was thinking about before I started to write it down.

      First (?) part of dream was forgotten, but I recall entering a dark building. I was sure that I wasnt myself at this point, like I was inhabiting someone else's body. It was an orphanage, and I had the distinct feeling it was where I had grown up. Moving through the building, I found no-one about. Dumping my stuff (when did I get it?) in a room, I moved to another corridor and there was a guy who I knew in real life. Wearing nothing but a very short towel. Not being gay, this was not exactly a particularly pleasant thing for me to witness. "You must be looking for [his mother], here follow me." He led me to the reception (of sorts) and I knew that there was another part of the building behind it, that I didnt get to see. I was taken to a room, "Terga 4" (definitely saw that written down) which incidentally was the exact room I had dumped my stuff, and also grown up in (the person I was inhabiting)

      Dream Change

      Cutting grass in my current High School, although it seemed slightly different. I couldnt place why exactly in this dream. In any case, I had finished cutting two portions of the grass, and was just about to start the third when I was informed it was military property, and was as such dangerous. WTF? I moved outside the school, along a path. There was a box which provided electrical current to some wires, one along the first portion of the road, two along the second. I reached the start of the second portion the first time I walked along it, being led by a friend. The second time along, I was the one who was leading, and I'm sure we were being followed by a couple of idiots. At some point along the path I touched a wire to see if it was live It was before telling the others not to touch them. For some reason we walked on the part of the road that was narrower, on the grassy bank to the right hand side. When we got to the end of this road, there was a house.

      It was dark, or at least stormy, with an illuminated house opposite us, atop some cliffs. A river went by in front of us, making a bridge lower down the only viable way across. Luckily there was an elevator for us (me + several others) to go down. We had almost all managed to fit into the elevator, only two people were not in it with us. As we started to go down, the idiots who had followed us arrived. We touched the ground below, and the idiots cut the rope that would have allowed the other two to get down. Interestingly enough, I predicted this would happen.

      We had to get across the river, and once again I predicted what would happen next. The bridge broke. Luckily we were carrying the wooden elevator floor with us, and this allowed us to float. Unfortunately, I somehow fell over the edge and got trapped between a submerged post and the current of the river. Next thing I knew, I was floating near the house, and I remember a distinct feeling of WTF? How the hell did I get over here? I could hear the two friends who had been stranded up on the other side of the river, but not the friends who were actually in the river.


      Dream Transition, like a scene change in a movie.

      I was back at the first part I wrote about, but there were two changes: I was younger, and I definitely was myself instead of inhabiting another person. Were the two above parts of the dream linked? It would appear so, because there in the distance was the house, but it was daytime. Riding a tricycle, alongside a girl. We were both of about 7 or 8 years old at this time. Of all the parts I've talked about, this is the most difficult to remember. Things were fuzzier, more indistinct. I have no idea who the girl was, and I dont get the feeling that the major part I forgot explained who she was. All I know was that we were playing, and suddenly, she wasnt there. I asked no-one in particular, possibly my brain, what had happened to her.

      She had died.

      I suppose I knew already, but subconsciously. I think she died of cancer, although what variety wasnt explained. It was very sad, because it was like a childhood friend had died, and I didnt quite understand why.


      Dream Change

      Sitting down in the shower room, for some reason I put my thumbs on my nostrils. Breathing in still worked. Why? Had I not covered them properly? I tried again, sticking them right in, blocking my nasal passages completely, and yet I could still breathe in and out. With a sudden realisation, I was lucid dreaming! This was only the second time I could ever remember going lucid, and the first time with a conscious reality check, (albeit one I have never used before) and this made me pretty pleased. Feeling incredibly pleased, I sat for a few moments, relishing in the feeling of awareness. I was by this time quite tired of dreaming, I doubt I could have taken much more, so it was quite a relief when I woke up.

      Im completely happy with the Lucid lasting only a few moments, because it has happened only once before. My goal now is to have a longer lucid dream, where I explore being aware.

      I don't know where this dream started, but I remember being in a war torn city, and even old people carried weapons. There was this one in particular who was firing off a machine gun from behind a construction road block. I don't know what she was killing or aiming at because I was heading in the other direction.

      I picked up a stick and by the time she stopped firing and I asked her where to go next. Two areas look like they lead to more rural areas. The lady said one direction lead back to where we came from, with a bitter voice. She then said another leads to the forest but there are tons of zombies there, and I wouldn't last a second. She pointed to the last path which was apparantly the safest, and told me I'm stilling going to die, but I should try that one. At this point I had the feeling I was dreaming, but I wasn't sure. I headed towards the general direction of the two paths, and there were people standing in a wrap around line. All of them were going to take the safe path. Some group of people were heckling the stick I was holding, and once again they were telling me I wasn't going to live. While trying to keep the suspicions of the dream low, I hopped out of that line and headed off in the the dangerous forest. I wanted to kill some stuff.

      I'm down the street from my house, (lucid) and some DC is just being annoying. He's all in my face, talking crap over and over. Finally I started body slamming the guy. It was like picking up a pillow case. Each time, the guy got up again, and kept on harassing me. I decided to end it. I grabbed him by the back of his head and shoved his face into the ground. The ground turned into sand and it was smothering him. I watched his arms and legs struggle for a while and stop moving. I let go, and the DC got up again, but he was headless. I sighed, and walked off...ignoring him. I threw a portal on the ground and jumped inside.

      scene change.

      I'm viewing a wire frame roller coaster. And I'm placing all the parts where everything is going to be, and then my POV is actually on the roller coaster, but the dream fades.

    9. 1/1 Fri, I can't move my hands

      No recall in the first half of the night on account of alcohol. Woke up and was anxious about stuff. Wrote in my journal for a while and watched a movie. Went back to bed, tried to WILD for about an hour. Got really close but eventually gave up. Turned on my side and spent another hour trying to sleep.

      1028: D. My eyes are closed and I'm listening to Lance talk. He says, "Sumit isn't taking the union very seriously." I mutter something about not caring. He continues, "What, you don't support the trinity in India?"

      I open my eyes. I'm lying on a bed in what looks like a college dorm room with a couple other beds and furniture. There's a window behind me with morning sunlight shining dimly through. The door is at the far end of the room. I don't see anyone. I'm lying on my stomach, propped up on my elbows. I think about what Lance said. What union? What is this "trinity" he's talking about? How did we get on this topic of conversation?
      Wait, how did I get here? Wasn't I just trying to sleep? I think I'm dreaming.

      I think to do a nose plug but my arms don't move. Hmm, strange. I look down at my hands and intent to to rub them. My arms are paralyzed! They are stiff with my wrists together as if in handcuffs. My fingers are interlocked. With great effort I think I manage to barely wiggle a finger. I panic. Dreams starts to fade. Damn it, no! My mind scrambles. As my view goes black I manage to yell "Stabilize!". But it's too late. End.


      On waking up, I was lying on my side. I noticed this as unusual because I almost always wake up on my back. I had one arm under the pillow and the other pinned under my body. It seems plausible that the position of my real body was affecting my dream body. I remained still for several seconds, hoping to re-enter. But I could feel I was too awake because I was upset about the botched dream.

    10. 9-18-10: Nightmare Mansion

      Non-Dream Non-Lucid Lucid False Awakening

      I am doing this straight from my memory, with no assistance from my physical DJ. I am hoping this can improve my recall. My dream also fades out at one point because not much action is occurring. I would also like to warn you that anywhere dark as or darker than a shadow in a dream gets me nervous in the dream, usually causing a nightmare, which almost got out of control today.

      The dream started out slow. I was in a dark computer lab trying to solve a brain-buster on an unfamiliar website with my PE teacher. When I FINALLY figured it out, I got to leave. When I exited the lab I was outside my home at night. Very creepy. I got in the van that was parked on the street next to my house to find my mom, dad, and brother in the vehicle. I got in the passenger seat, and we drove onto the road. There were no buildings at all, and it was nearly impossible to see anything out the van. There was no starlight or moonlight. Finally, we passed by an odd building, with only a flickering green light to mark it's presence. There was another odd and almost invisible building, where we promptly parked our car. As we entered the building, Laser light shows were creating odd patterns, like the ones created in the iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch App, Uzu.



      As we walked in the first door we could find, there wasn't much action happening except walking at the moment so the dream faded out. I remember entering and observing various rooms with my family, and seeing our tenant, W. As soon as the dream got clearer, I was walking into a bathroom. I saw a human-like figure hunched over in a towel. I got nervous, since this house has no inhabitants at the time, and he could be... dead. I took a tool (possibly a stick or pole) and whacked the towel off, only to reveal two large dolls put an an odd position. I threw them aside in disgust, and as I left the bathroom, I found myself in my parents' master bedroom. My brother was by the cabinet by the exit door. I said "Hey!", and he promptly fell over and started seizing. He morphed into this zombie-like thing and picked my up by the legs. At that point, I went into third-person view and started thinking, 'This must be a dream...'
      Now lucid, I kicked my brother away and ran out the bedroom. I walked into the hallway with my mom. As we were walking out, I tried to summon a sword, but I wasn't loud enough, so a half-sword was summoned instead. I was like, oh well (I wanted to teleport somewhere to practice my fighting). I walked into the library, where my mom was showing me something that I can't exactly remember. It was some kind of can or something. I woke up because the dream was too boring.

    11. Dild at morning, 15-20 minutes

      I am at school. I leave the school, to see the doctor, if I remember right. About fifty metres from the school there is a dairy. I don't go there, but instead I turn and start going back to the school area. I have forgotten why I left the school area in the first place. I meet two friends. We go together towards the school yard. When we arrive there, there are teachers nearby. None of us has the permission to leave the school area, so my friend says that we'll have to get past them. Two teachers notice us and start coming towards. I think if I should run, but I realise that I'm in a dream. I don't pay any attention to the teachers nor to my friends, but instead start going to the school yard. When I start walking, I feel the dream fade. I stop and make the dream stabilize. I decide to have a fight. The dream characters from my previous dream start pouring in from a gateway of some sort. I use fire magic and create explosions all around me and start jumping into several metres while spinning and beating the DCs. When I'm done with them, I create myself enormous, clawed hands made of ice. I strike the ground with them to impress the DCs and to make them reconsider about attacking me. It seems they are not impressed and continue the attack. After the second wave is gone and the DCs have stopped their assault, I turn my hands into normal. After it I distract the teachers so my friends can safely enter the school area. My friends and the teachers are in same the positions where I left them. The teachers turn to me and my friends sneak past them. 'So much to do', I think. 'This is better to be a long LD'. I start thinking about the shared dream I had in the other dream. 'Fighting with them was funnier than fighting alone'. I think about the cards, about the pictures in them and the dots turning into squares. And suddenly I'm not dreaming of the cards, but simply thinking of them. The change from dreaming to thinking was subtle and delicate I never had a change to notice it.

      In this dream I remember being in a ghetto of a city. Some small black kid was dragging a bigger black kid toward the fence I was walking by and he said that they needed help. I knew someone, well, that was a buddy of my dads who worked in the "ghetto rehab" if you will. I then went to go greet him, as I did something made me think that I was dreaming, I started getting excited and decided to see if I was dreaming or not. I jumped up like 15 feet in the air and grabbed like a metal leaf decoration that was hanging from the ceiling. I clearly remember the mans face I was going to meet, and I remember being afraid of it, Not sure if it was a 100% lucid dream, but I think part of it was. I also believe I had a false awakening. Was pretty tight, too tired to think of it right now.

      Didn't have the best lucid dream last night because I didn't complete the RC-MILD before falling asleep, but I did get some of it done, and so I went some lucid in return. It wasn't the best lucid dream I've ever had, but it was most definitely lucid.

      I found myself walking down the aisle on an airplane with some other people that I had false memories of knowing for a long time, but actually had never seen them before. Suddenly, it hit me that I was seeing something, which I had just told myself meant I was dreaming. "I'm dreaming!" I said in a loud whisper to myself. The DC in front of me heard it, and turned around. "What?" he asked.

      I decided to have some fun with the answer to that.

      "Oh, I just was wondering...do you think I could do a flip right now without ever touching the floor?"

      "Sure, why not? If you touched the ground it would be a roll and not a flip anyway."

      "No, I mean like I won't jump or land."

      The DC just looked at me funny, so I responded by levitating off the floor, running a few steps, flipping, and then landing on pure nothingness.

      "Woah dude, that's awesome!" The DC said.

      "And now..." I said, "What if I did this?"

      I caused the airplane's lights to dim and disco balls and strobe lights and other fancy colored lights to start shining. And then, still just in the middle of the air on the aisle of this airplane, I started break dancing. I did all kinds of cool stuff, but lost lucidity before long and the dream just went back to normal.

      From then on, the dream was about me and the other DC's being shipped to some imprisonment on the airplane, but we managed to break out and find our way through the maze of a facility to finally get back to the plane and commandeer it to get out of there. It was a very interesting dream to go through with lots of details in characters and in the facility as a maze, but unfortunately I don't remember all the details of the deep plot.

      Then something really odd happened. I don't yet have a text color for it so I'll just use orange. Everything went black once that dream ended, and then I felt myself waking up. I look at the ceiling above me, see what time it is, and then roll over--only to stare myself in the face. Yes, before me I saw none other than me lying down on the bed, still apparently asleep. But this was ultra realistic--I'm serious, this didn't feel like a dream. I reached down and touched my hair with an arm that I could feel very clearly, but not see. Felt like it should. I noticed my chin and realized that I had forgotten to shave. Then my eyelids shot open for a brief moment, and my vision faltered, my 'body' being sucked down towards my body. But things came back just for a moment, and I was thinking about seeing where I could go and what I could do in this state when I heard a voice. It said to me: "You have to go back. It's not your time yet." And then as I saw my eyes open I was sucked down into my body completely.

      I sat up for a minute and found everything to be accurate as I had seen it. I had forgotten to shave, it was the exact time I saw on the clock, the lighting of the room had been correct in what I saw...call it what you want, but I think this was a legit OBE and not exactly a lucid dream.

      Kinda weird, though...that makes the second or third time recently at night I'll feel like I'm leaving my body and I'll hear a voice sending me back telling me it's not yet my time. Am I really getting that close to dying? Am I on my way out and then being put stuck back in just at the last moment? Creepy...

      Heh… I didn’t write this down right when I woke up so I kinda forgot some of the details. ^_^’

      I don’t remember quite how I ended up at this point. I was in a rather plain area and a monstrous creature with blade like arms had stabbed me through the chest. The pain felt quite real but then I realized that it was a dream. When I realized that it was a dream everything suddenly felt more vivid, which included the pain. Since I knew it was a dream I sat down and just told myself that everything was part of my mind and that it could not hurt me, the pain soon faded after that.

      I’m not quite sure what happened after that but I remember going to a large tower with many levels that could lead to the outside on balconies, which was all surrounded by water. I was fighting some monsters there when I remembered how I had wanted to sprout my brown feathered wings again and learn how to fly better with them. I floated down from one of the upper levels of the tower and then tried to sprout my wings. I kept repeating out loud “I will grow my wings”. After repeating the phrase a few times brown feathers started to appear from my arms. Usually I have my wings come from my back but I wanted to try it on my arms. Eventually my arms transformed into wings and then I tried to fly around with them. Having wings on my arms turned out not to work so well, so I focused my mind and tried to shift the wings to my back. It felt so wonderful being able to fly again, and at one point I fell down towards the water and I almost thought I would crash, but at the last moment I pulled up and only my arms and legs ended up grazing the water. The water felt so cool and refreshing.

      Later I was with some guys, and one of them wanted something but I can’t remember what. They were talking about some extremely hot water that was below us, but I don’t remember why. They ended up getting mad at me and tried to attack me but they couldn’t harm me, and the other guy that was there tried to stop him, and soon after I woke up.

      Yay! I'm so happy! ^_^ I seem to be having at least one lucid dream a month, and a few semi-lucids. :3 Actually, I think I haven't updated the number of lucid dreams I've had on my profile enough, because I'm sure I've had more. :/ I hope I can have another lucid soon.

    15. 9-17-10: Wing and a Mystery

      My dream seemed to switch between two people. Myself, and a woman holding an iPhone/iPod Touch. At points in the dream, the woman (I'll call her A), would look at her device reading about another woman named L. She read several letters to L's childhood friends, and other information.

      Up until now, my dream was in a haze. I remember looking for someone. I was throwing water balloons at people at my current school, and was lucid since I could remember. After exiting my school, I switched to A's point of view, and noticed a few letters and info from L. I was in a park next to a gray cement wall. I decided to try out flying, and leaped in the air, and imagined myself sprouting wings. So I did. The wings appeared to be moving automatically, and I was cruising at the same speed and altitude. No matter how much I tried to move my body, I couldn't. I could only move my head and arms. So, I 'swam' through the air, and gained a burst in height and speed. I looked to the side and saw the stars and the Earth, along with my autonomous wings flapping. I observed the almost perfect field below me, with green grass stretching as far an eye can see. I also passed over a couple of disproportional towns, almost cartoon-like in appearance, similar to Twilight Town in KH. They were very small for the altitude I was cruising in, and distance between the towns was off too. They were far apart, with no roads connecting them. I got bored of flying, so I was going to try free-running. I imagined a nearby city, but it was also oddly sized. (I didn't know that flying lower could make it much bigger, which I found out later) I just passed over the misshapen city with disappointment.

      I was dropping altitude fast, and decided to land on a small hill. As I moved toward the hill, it SUPER-SIZED into a golf course. I landed at the end of the golf course. I thought 'Oh crap, I can't get seen, I have wings!' Sure enough, two golfers were on the course. I thought, 'Well, at least there isn't a meeting or something here.' Of course, a mayor-looking guy brought a huge audience near where I was standing. And they saw my wings. The crowd has gone into a frenzy. I lost my focus and awareness and the dream started to fade. The mayor yelled, "Get security!" I promptly responded "Brass fist!" and punched him out of the way with my metal fist. As I ran, I kept on switching to the A's point-of-view, to observe L's progress. Finally, as I climbed over a hedge, it switched to A's point of view again, and as I read one last letter, and the dream faded out completely.


      I woke up. I went to the bathroom, put away some clothes, and tried to do WBTB. And I failed.
