Lucid Dreams
So I decided to try a WILD for the first time last night. I planned it all out before I went to bed, setting my alarm and deciding what I would do when I woke up. It was all going well, I woke up at 5:00, went to the bathroom, and went to the fridge to grab the bottle of apple juice I bought the night before. I then went back to bed, and tried a few of the techniques I learned from Dream Views. I found it was very easy for me to relax, and the whole process happened very quickly. I heard some strange noises and saw weird patterns as I entered the dream. I wasn’t as lucid as I expected to be, and I had very little control of the dream. It was like I was Mario from a video game, and I had to do certain tasks. Anyway, It went ok and I woke up from the dream at 5:30 and went back to bed. Then this morning, I open my fridge and see my bottle of apple juice still there, right where I left it the night before. Suddenly I realized that I never got out of my bed at all, that drinking the apple juice was already part of my dream. So I guess I woke up at 5:00, and then fell back asleep and started dreaming it all. But the WILD felt so real, and I had never had one before so I didn’t know what to expect. It was a confusing experience, but I'm definitely looking forward to experimenting more.

I AM DREAMING!" then I woke up. I was with one or two people, I don't remember who This was my first real lucid dream I compleatly paniced when I realized I was wrong, I thought I was awake, but then discovered I was actualy dreaming
Dream; Semi-Lucid; Lucid; Memorable; 1-4 My Recollection; Woke 11am Slept great. Lucid after WBTB. 4; I was lucid but didn't realize that the dream wasn't steady because I had just wbtb. NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Good morning! Had a few weird dreams last night, most of them were a bit disturbing. Had a short lucid moment but it wasn't exactly pleasant. 23.00: Sleep 08.30: Crazy beach DILD It's night out and I'm chin deep in water. I'm standing on a cliff under water that ends just infront of me and a friend of mine is right behind me. The waves are threatening to throw me off the cliff but I steady myself. A car comes floating by with a mom and a teenager in it. "What the fuck?" I ask as it disappears. We swim for land and soon I find the teenager lying face down in the water. I grab her and lift her up and run for the beach. As I lay her down she opens her eyes and coughs up some water. "Are you okay?" I ask. She nods. I leave her there and head up towards the campfire. My great uncle Lasse is sitting next to it with a stick. He looks mischievous. "Did you catch any fish or what?" I ask. "Yeah a couple of nice bass" he says grinning. I look to my right where I see a dark cabin and there's something moving inside. "Holy shit I must be dreaming!" I say relieved and frightened at the same time. Lasse stands up with his back towards me and he's only wearing shorts. He turns around and his front looks just like his back. He's like an egg of flesh. "Fuck this" I say and imagine myself ripping him apart. I do it easily and there's blood everywhere. The thought merges somehow with the dream and it feels more like a very fuzzy dream. 08.30: Wake up Amount of sleep: 9 hours Supplements: None That's it! Keep on dreaming, HARE BRA!
Very light, semilucid dreams about League Of Legends fights, all night long from what I can remember. I didn't sleep well, but it made for some wacky dreams. I was just watching RTS battles from birdseye view for hours on end, and at parts I felt like I could take control of my characters. I feel like when I start lucid dreaming, the only way I'll be able to control things is from League of Legends perspective, since it's the only game I play right now. Kind of cool I guess..?
I stand in the living room of a house I do not recognize near the frount door, there is decorative wooden lineing on the walls and a reddish brown leather chair sitting across from the fireplace. I preform a RC with the preconceived notion that I am dreaming but it fails to give me evidence that I am dreaming, I do it agin with the same result. The dream fades out in my memory with me trying to come up with a way to be sure that I am dreaming
As usual for a LD I stand in my living room near the front door and do a RC, I agin gave 6 fingers. *I walk out the door and pleased to see a bright sunny day I say "yes!" I walk to the center of the street and begin trying to fly, I jump twice then close my eyes and focus on me flying as I jump agin, no luck. I decide to fly I will use the JetMan suit, I agin close my eyes and focus, but this time on me wearing the suit, as I open my eyes I see the suit and I am pleased, then I realize that it is on backwards, I turn it around and grab the controls. I begin running up the street and push a red switch on the hand control. I repeat this several times and then I realize that the whole time I was using the break and the green button next to it is the thrust. I make one last run that agin ends in failure, (the dream then fades out in my memory.)
This one's going to be a doozy, mainly because I had long DEILD chain, and I can't remember everything in perfect order, but I'll do my best. First I want to admit, that I took a 5-HTP last night before bed, around 1am. This is after not taking it for about 2 weeks I think? I woke up the first time at about 7:15am when Danny got home from his night shift. He had to take his daughter to her mom's, and they left the house at about 8:30am, which woke me up again for a moment and I think that's when I went pee. I woke up again around 9 or 9:30, and that's when the crazy vibrations started. These were so odd. First, the vibrations were all over my body, and had a really strong electrical feeling.. not to the point of uncomfortable, but almost. And they came in waves. At the height of the waves the first few times, it was accompanied by the most horrific screaming.. like a man who was a combination of psychotic, homicidal, and in maximum pain. It was horrible. But I knew it wasn't real, and it would fade eventually. After a few seconds, the waves were just vibrations, but I could control them with just my thumbs. Kind of hard to explain, but when ever the vibrations would subside, I could intensify them by curling my thumbs in. I've been able to do this in the past with just my mind, but this is the first time I could with bodyparts. Kinda cool. I was getting a little frustrated though, because the last 3 times I've had the vibrations, no Julio and no DEILD. just vibrations then oblivion. So I just kept curling my thumbs and hoping for the best. Finally I felt like some time had suddenly passed, and I was just lying in bed thinking of nothing, but I felt weird, like it could be a dream. I looked at my thumbs, which still had the tingly feeling form being connected to those vibrations. They looked all mangled and contorted, so I knew it was a dream! First thing I did was get out of bed, and TOTM immediately popped into my mind. Mirror time (I was so excited). I went to the hall bathroom, pitch black and the light switch didn't work (ffffuuuuuuu). Neither did clapping, shouting, gnawing hacking biting breaking burning (/LOTR). So I crawled up on the sink, opened the glass cover of the lights, beat the shit out of the lights until they came on, replaced the cover, and got back down. Nothing like a little lucid brute force . I looked in the mirror.. it looked like me but the hair was wrong. Anyway, I just pushed my head through the glass, and there was quick moment of feeling like I was sticking my head through a membrane of water, then I could see. My head and torso pushed through the membrane and appeared on the 2nd story balcony of a loft apartment, overlooking a restaurant by the ocean. I remember the rails on the balcony were unusual, they were the first thing I saw and noted. Anyway, there were 4 people sitting at the outside table of the restaurant. I yelled at them "Hey, where am I?" One lady yelled back at bit rudely "This is the FLORIDA KEYS!" I thought it was pretty cool, but kinda uninteresting. It was a cloudy day, and looked more like a dirtyish city than some tropical islands. So I popped back out of the mirror (I never went fully through). I saw my reflection again, and was excited because I succeeded AND because I was still lucid and hadn't woken up yet! I went back through the mirror again, only partially again, half expecting to see the same scene, half hoping it would be different. The front half of my body passed through the mirror again, and this time appeared inside a building. It was some kind of animal rescue or vet for exotic birds. There were no cages, just giant glass rooms. The place looked like it was funded pretty well, all clean and spacious. There were parrots and cockatiels and cockatoos, and birds of every color of the rainbow. And it sounded like I was in a rainforest with all the bird sounds. Some didn't fly, and just kinda walked around. I guess they were rescues who'd had their wings clipped. I'm not much of a bird person, so I left again. I think this is where I woke up and went back to sleep. Hard to remember, I may have in between the other 2 experiences too. I know I woke up and went back to sleep at least 2 more times, because I remember getting out of bed and thinking "YES I'm still DEILDing" a couple more times. I'm just fuzzy on the order, sorry about that. I had more luck with bathroom lights from here on though. I remember walking down the hall, and the bathroom door was closed. But I could see light peeking under the door. Thank you subconscious. I opened the door, plenty of light, and looked in the mirror. I noticed 2 cats I used to have were sitting on the bathroom sink, Henunu and Gepiepe. I gave them a few pats, then returned to the mirror. I pushed my head through and saw a really pretty creek that reminded me of the Guadalupe River, with lots of Cypress trees. And it was a beautiful, cool sunny day. I wanted to go all the way through and explore, but then I noticed the water. It was all green and murky, and looked too deep for the creek size. I said "HELL no" and popped back out. Then I thought, "Chicken." So I went back in, only partially (I have to remark at how easy it was to pass through the glass each time.. I had expected some resistance, but it was just like liquid. More thick than water, kind of like a gel), and I saw the same scene. I looked down, and I was right over the bank, and there were rocks below. So I picked up some rocks and threw them at the water to see if anything creepy would stir. I didn't notice anything, so I went completely through for the first time. I picked up the largest rock and carried it with me, just in case hehe. I just walked along the bank, and looked at the ground and the remarkable cypress roots, avoiding the water. Then I woke up. Again, hard to remember the exact order, but I remember going through 3 more times. I peeked through the mirror and found myself looking at the back of some chairs in a restaurant. It looked like teatime... oooo fancy! So I went through and sat at a table with 3 other women. They were passing around a menu and ordering tea sandwiches. I was the last one to get the menu, and before I could place my order, the first lady grabbed it out of my hands! Obnoxious looking rich blonde bitch. She said "Oh I'd like to go ahead and place my order for tomorrow as well." I yanked it right back out of her hands and said "Give me that back!" Then I just kinda looked at her for a minute, and she looked down. I said "This is stupid." And I got up and went to the bathroom, specifically with looking for a mirror in mind. There were several mirrors in the pretty little restaurant bathroom. I took the smallest one off the wall, it was just a thin rectangular mirror, trying to figure out how I was going to get through it. Then I heard a voice on the other side of the bathroom.. it was a lady sitting in a chair. She said "That bigger mirror would probably be better." Haha. So right. So I went through that one and found myself back on that 2nd story loft again, overlooking that restaurant again. The same rude lady was at the same table with her same friends, and she saw me and said "Yes, it's still the Florida Keys." And I screamed back at her "YEHAAAW!! THE FLORIDA FUCKING KEYS, HELL YEAHHHH!!" and came back out of the mirror. I went in one last time, from that same mirror I think, and came out in the most boring looking residential area I had ever seen. I thought, meh, why not. I walked around but the place seemed deserted. I went inside one house and didn't' see anyone. I started getting randy of course.. tis a side effect of lucidity for me I'm afraid. But since I was alone, I decided that I wanted to really see what my anatomy looked like when it changed to male parts. I won't go into detail, but I was looking in a full length mirror in one of the bedrooms, and I saw an awful lot. Finally a guy showed up a bit later and we had sex but I woke up half way through. The End, shit.
Last night before going to sleep I was meditating quite a while before passing out. I remember waking up a few times a night, but not remembering any of my dreams. Each time I tried a different technique but to no avail. This morning I woke up several times and the last time I woke up before I got out of bed 11.30 was somewhere around 9.30-9.45. I tried to WILD (for the first time, actually) but I do not remember if the attempt was succesful. When I woke up and got out of bed there was two things that happened that often tells me I have dreamed; I had a sense of having been somewhere else and I had an old song in the back of my head which I was constantly humming. This was disappointing to me, as it always is when I do not remember dreams. However, I suspect that I did become lucid without remembering it, 'cause I have this nagging feeling of standing somewhere under a deep purple sky and saying to myself that this is a dream, but the thought/feeling is too fleeting to be categorized and proved. The problem I'm often having with my lucid dreams are that once I become lucid I can't keep control and a false awakening occurs, or I just lose all vividness and the dream continues on without me remembering it. At least I have identified my own problems and are working to solve them.
I've had a lot on my hands lately, and haven't given much thought to dreaming. I only remember a couple of dreams from the past week. First There is blue, and I decide to make it the sky. I fly over the earth and look down on it. It looks plastic, painted on. I decide on a spot and fly down. I wish to meet a guide there. There is a man and a woman. The woman is around my age and the man is a bit older. He is explaining things and we are listening. I don't really get anything new out of it. This relates to a sense that I'm having at the moment, of moving forward quickly and effortlessly, and not getting anywhere. Second Back as a University student, waiting for the time to go to a lecture, playing a game with some friends.
Lucid. Found a kitten in my basement. I asked it how he got in our house. Said that the door was left unlocked a few nights ago. The kitten then turned into a boy and that triggered lucidity. Usually when I turn lucid, I have tasks I want to do (conjure someone or talk to my subconscious) but this time I just wanted to see where the dream would take me, so I just went with it. He was a boy, but I still regarded him as a kitten and wanted to show him something fun, so we went flying. He kept turning older. We flew through an unknown urban neighborhood and was looking for a place to stop. I tried to "draw" a house in existence but that didn't work. We found one and it was dark and dirty. I found a mirror and kept willing my reflection to change on command - that was fun. I then saw myself aging - from now to 30 years in future. It looked incredibly accurate. The boy/kitten ended up rejecting me. Somehow I get the sense that maybe it is representative of desires that I don't allow myself, while my life is slipping away.
Color-coding: Non-lucid, Semi-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake] Bold text indicates a “dream within a dream,” meaning any dream scenes that followed after I dreamed of falling asleep I wake up in my current bedroom. I can hear the couple who lives downstairs in the master bedroom arguing. The woman says something like, “I have to get up now and get ready for work!” I can't sleep with them arguing, so I decide, “Okay, I guess I'm up for the day now, too.” I get up and start trying to take a shower, but the hot water keeps turning cold because the woman downstairs is taking a shower at the same time. After I'm done, I'm still feeling so sleepy that I decide to go back to bed and try to get some good sleep while I still can. It's still only 4:15 AM, after all. So I get back into bed and go to sleep. [All of the above paragraph was a completely convincing false awakening that I failed to catch. I've never heard the couple in question argue like that, plus, in the dream, the residents of the master bedroom were the parents of the girl who actually lives there in real life, and I thought nothing of it. :/] I'm visiting EM and SM's house in Omaha [something I did in real life recently]. It's morning, and we're all getting ready to leave the house for the day. They have a gigantic, elaborate house [way bigger, fancier, and more high-tech than their real house]. While we're in the kitchen, SM says something like, “You haven't had a chance to eat today.” I answer, “I know. That's why I always keep bananas in stock.” I show her that I'm carrying a banana with me, which I intend to eat for breakfast. SM has an eyepatch over her left eye socket, with a cool outer-space vista on it. It's embedded into her skin, and I can see muscles twitching underneath it. It's kind of creepy. We get outside the front door when I realize that I don't have any shoes on. I say to EM, “Could you unlock the door for me, so I can get back into the house? I'm not wearing shoes, only socks.” EM takes out a door key and uses it to unlock a lock in a wall, which opens the front door. “The front door” consists of a zig-zagging wall of metal panels that cross a wide, concrete courtyard. The panels that are parallel to the house swing open, toward the house, when the key is turned; they're the doors. I go into the house and run up the stairs to the room where I'm staying, to get my shoes. When I come back outside, I find SM sitting on something in the middle of the tall, light-green grass on the wide front lawn, waiting for me. She doesn't have her eyepatch anymore; both of her eyes are normal. [This is the case in real life.] “Wait just a ding-danged minute here...” I say. This discrepancy has caused me to begin to suspect that none of this is real. To test whether I'm dreaming, I turn to face a low rock wall nearby and start walking toward it, willing myself to pass through it intangibly [something I know very well that I can do in dreams]. I find that I can't pass through it; I just bump into it normally. In the moments that follow, I'm very acutely and vividly aware of the world around me, of my own self-consciousness, and of the fact that I'm not sure whether I'm awake or dreaming at this very moment. [I finally started watching the TV series Awake a few nights ago, and this is what the protagonist experiences all the time, a fact which is reiterated at the beginning of episodes 2 and 3. That is so cool, that I got to experience that personally in one of my own dreams! ] After another moment or two, I do realize that I am dreaming. [I don't remember specifically how or why.] By definition, that means that I am getting some good sleep now, I reflect gratefully. I smile and decide to enjoy myself here while I'm getting that restorative sleep I needed so much. As usual, all I want to do is explore the dream world, so I start flying up and away from the house. I see SM's car driving away below me, and wave goodbye to her. From up here, I can see the entire city spread out below me, covering the gently rolling hills like a blanket, and it's very beautiful. It's also very windy up there. I think to myself: I've got brains in my head, I've got feet in my shoes, I've got levitation powers in my mind. I can steer myself any direction I choose. [This is a reference to the Dr. Seuss book Oh, the Places You'll Go!, from which one of my contacts in Omaha read a passage to a graduating class while I was there. Hmm. No idea why I thought of them as “levitation powers” instead of “flight powers.”] I try to fly into the wind, which is coming from my left, but can't find the strength to fight against it. I decide to fly with it instead. I think, Why not? When you're going bicycling, you'll probably choose to ride with the wind, if you have a choice. I end up flying through a neighborhood filled with lots of cute little houses that line narrow, old, little streets that wind around every which way. [Just like in the real Omaha, or, at least, the neighborhood where EM and SM live.] Every front yard has big, tropical-rainforest-looking trees in it that reach across the street, forming the beginnings of a canopy, but not a very thick one. There are exotic, tropical birds in every tree. [Um... not at all like in the real Omaha. ] I fly along, following the streets and admiring the beauty all around me. [Dreamskip - I don't remember getting from one locale to the other.] I'm still in Omaha, but now I'm in a gigantic, elaborate, multi-story library and bookstore. It has lots of glass walls and ceilings that let in the sunlight, and they're arranged in a square geometric pattern, just like this library. It's filled with lots and lots of shelves of books, and there are plenty of people walking around. I'm still flying to get around, instead of walking. I fly up from one level to another, in search of the section where the most popular books are kept. I want to check one of those books out, but I don't have a library card yet, so I'm limited to buying it. I definitely intend to get a library card when I move there, though. [True in real life, too.] When I get to that section, I land and start walking. I'm looking for the second book in a series I'm reading. I have to think about it to remember which one it is. It's not the Twilight series; it's the Hunger Games series. [Which I haven't even started reading in real life, but I would like to.] I look through the neat, white, bright shelves and find the book I'm looking for. I pick it up and start walking away with it, reading it. There's a computer kiosk that beeps at me as I walk by. I look on the screen, and it has a written message directed at me, chastising me for cracking the spine on my book. Doing so somehow disrupted the operation of a pacemaker of somebody in the immediate vicinity. [I don't recall seeing that somebody there, though.] I continue exploring the library, and decide I want to go down one floor, but I don't want to fly because there are lots of people around, and I generally try to avoid using any of my dream powers when there are people around to see me. [Yes, they are just DCs, but I always think like that in my lucid dreams anyway. I don't know why, but I do.] I see a wide, steep, carpet-covered ramp leading down to the level below me, and decide to roll down it. [Dreamskip. I'm not 100% certain that I was still aware that I was dreaming in this scene, but I may have been.] I'm walking along a city street and see a restaurant that is closed. I'm disappointed to discover this, because it had belonged to my friends. I wander through it, looking at all the debris left in the abandoned building. I walk to a side entrance and go out through the patio, where I see that people have begun seating themselves at the patio tables. I realize that they must have seen me walking around inside the restaurant, assumed it was open, and sat down. I feel bad about it, but I start telling them, “Sorry, it's closed.” They get up and leave. [Side notes: Heh. I love how my subconscious has turned Omaha into this perfect tropical paradise with an awesome library, a place where everything I saw around me was incredibly cool and gave me nothing but happiness and joy. Omaha really does have a gigantic central library, although it doesn't have that cool architectural design. That part came directly from the library at UC San Diego. I didn't go to school there, but EM did - a fact which I had consciously forgotten about until I told my mom about this dream later in the day. Hmm. Omaha also has a zoo that I didn't actually see, but that everyone tells me is pretty awesome. Okay, subconscious, I get the message: Don't give up on Omaha yet. You may still be able to find happiness there.]
The following is a true story of a near-death experience I experienced today... I won't go into details about the passing out part because it really isn't important. Today I passed out from low blood sugar and while unconscious i dreamed this: I was on clouds, I was surrounded by endless mist and clouds. I had no idea how I got there, where I was before this, and no knowledge of ever falling asleep. It felt real as real gets. I was floating above endless landscape but in the clouds only, no closer. I thought, I was just living how did I get here? Am I dead? I thought I might be due to the odd circumstances and that I couldn't wake up from this dreamlike world. Was I ever living? What am I now? Am I still human or some sort of spirit-being? I then heard voices, "it will be alright." Who is that I asked? No answer. Then I walk around questioning what is real and what is imaginary. Then everything goes dark and I see light and a face but I can't make it out. The person says, "stay with us, wake up, you're going to be alright." I thought, is this still imaginary or is this all real? The face goes away and I am back in the clouds. What is going on? Then I felt like I was dieing of thirst and I was soaking wet. I was cold. Then I give up thinking and just relax and it all goes dark again. The light comes back in a few minutes. Now I see flashing lights on a firetruck and 3 paramedics. Then I blink and now there is only 1. Then I close my eyes again rest. I try to figure out what had happened. I wake up and now realize I had blacked out. It takes me a couple of minutes to realize what had happened. I had low blood sugar and blacked out in my truck while backing up a trailer into the driveway. Thank God it was in park when it happened. It takes me at least an hour to remember the whole story from the little bits and pieces of memories I could remember from before I passed out. It was a very scary feeling, to be awake an active to dream state in a blink and no memory of what had happened. This is a first time for me when it comes to passing out.
I went to bed at 10:00 pm Woke up at 4:15, drank aj went to bathroom and back to bed at like 4:15. I was at this nice autumn dog park with my friend Mike. It was a really nice day and there was a nice lake there. I had been to a similiar place a couple days ago and used that setting to dream incubate when i first went to bed, so then I realized I was dreaming and decided to do the finger through palm tech. It took a couple of tries, but i eventually got them through and yelled out "Yippie!!" (kinda dumb I know) I told myself alright I have to calm down. I was with Mike and we were at a picnic table and I remember trying the breathing through nose tech just for fun and it also worked! I remember me and mike were getting excited so we started to stick our hands through the picnic table (like the palm tech) and after countless failures for both of us (just two kids hitting their hands on a table ) I told myself, "this is a dream I can do whatever i want." and concentrated really hard and finally stuck my hand through the table! The whole top part of it! I cant remember if it went through easily or if i straight up smashed it, but w/e i did it. Mike was pumped and hooting for me. There was also an old man who kinda reminded me of morgan freeman sitting on a near by log who had witnessed the whole thing, and was shaking his head like he approved of my concentration. Some other people were walking by saw the end of the event and were looking dumb founded by what we were doing, so i tried to show off and do it again for them, but i just couldn't do it, i couldnt concentrate, so i rammed my fingers through the table so hard that the wood broke in half. The DC's were impressed and started clapping, but i knew it wasnt the same and said screw off to them. I then walked to the water with Mike and we were up to our nips in really cold water, but we didnt mind. I did another reality check and said "hey mike lets waterbend!" and i morphed some water into a ball and tossed it in the air, it hit the water with a HUGE splash. mike then made a water ball and threw it at me, it was so on! he swam away but i created a whirlpool and tried to suck him in but he got away. I decided screw this, this is a dream so I stood up on the water. It was awkward at first like trying to walk on jello but i got the hang of it, me and Mike fought for a long time and it was on eof the most amazing expirences ever! It then faded into a non-lucid dream, must of been because i got too caught up in the water fight
