1. (Lucid) Searching for my dream guide. May 25th 2012.

by , 05-25-2012 at 03:16 PM (Dream Journal)
Awake|Dreaming|Lucid

This was my second lucid, it was short, but MUCH longer than the last. It lasted about 15-20 seconds and my first lasted only about 8 seconds .

I was in a house, similar to my aunt's house, but it felt abandoned and a little broken. I suddenly had the urge to perform a reality check, and so I did. I looked at my hands and my fingers were all crooked and deformed. I quickly became lucid and rubbed my hands together to keep the dream from slipping away and then looked around a bit. I then felt as if I needed to find my dream guide, so I shouted "Dream guide, are you there?" but there was no response. I even felt a little scared incase something jumped out and me, I was so paranoid, I forgot to stabelise the dream and it slipped away from me.

That is all for this dream, it was a good experience but I wish I could have done more. I have no idea why I decided to find a dream guide, maybe for advice?

2. "You here again ?"

by , 05-25-2012 at 03:01 PM (Is it a dream ?)
I'm going up through a hill. I enter in a place that looks like a university with a lot of people going in and out of it.
I see that it was not the way I wanted to go and go outside of the university to continue going up.
When I was in almost the top of the mountain I met a guy with orange clothes (like a postsman) and talk to him:
_You here again ?
_I think so. - He said while continuing his path.
After that I realized that I had 2 dreams before in that same hill and saw that same guy before, I was lucid now.

The dream started to fade out and I remembered to stabilize.
I started rubbing my hands and got on my knees to touch the ground with my hands. I said "Stabilize!" 2 times.
The dream stabilized and I could feel the ground beneath my knees, the wind touching my skin and the gravity of earth pulling my down.
When I got up a mucic started to play and the dream faded very suddenly :/

I woke up in my bed about 00:30 am with my cellphone ringing and answered it cause my brother was sleeping next to me. When I say "Hello" I woke up for real :O
Another FA :x

3. Lucid Canadian Hotel, and Where Are The Boys? - 05232012

by , 05-25-2012 at 02:05 AM
This dream ranks among the most detailed dreams I've had, especially the lucid moments playing with the water. I've left out plenty of descriptive details that I just don't have enough time for, but I've tried to preserve the scenes and imagery. The color blue is still pervasive. This is a long dream.

The scene takes place in the house I grew up in, a houselocated atop a tree-covered ridge with a row of back windows that face west. Iloved that house and especially that yard, but in this dream the house issuddenly located in Canada. I’ve never actually been to Canada but it must haveseemed like a good place to be for a dream.
A storm is coming, a sight not unusual for west-facingwindows, but this one is particularly large. The winds of the storm areswirling like a hurricane, or perhaps oversized tornado, and have a blue tintto many of the swirls. I connect this to ice and a severe storm, as well asthoughts of being in Canada. Despite this some part of me knows this storm isimpossible, whether I’m in Canada or not.
Something tells me that I need to be on the lookout for apair of kids with broken arms, injuries recently sustained while escaping thestorm possibly. I don’t remember a phone call or message but somehow I justknow. As I think about them the stormsuddenly throws out several bolts of lightning indicating it is close enough toreally be a potential threat very soon.
I suddenly turn to the room I’m in, occupied by a couple ofother people, and say, “Why haven’t we taken the kids to the hospital yet?!”
I walk from the room and outside to the car, a cross betweenmy SUV, a car, and some kind of large toy. Driving the vehicle is an actualchallenge as it seems to be solely operated by the steering wheel. I swerve allover the road and as I reach the end of the block I’m lucky to make the turnwithout crashing into the rock wall that lines the outer edge of one person’sproperty. What’s especially weird is that I’m I Canada yet my childhoodneighborhood is perfectly preserved in my mind, right down to the dust on theroad at the corner.
The lighting of the scene is that of early morning, and Idecide it must be six A.M. I’m approaching an intersection with a cross-streetand I have to stop, though my vehicle is very slow to respond. Ahead of meseveral children are approaching the intersection from the side and one is evencrossing with his bike right in front of me, prompting me to slam on the brake. The car slows with a frightening lag and I become scared I’m going to hit theyoung boy on his way to the bus stop, but as the motion ceases I get mad andwonder why in hell he would be going to school at six in the morning.
On the cross-street a grey cube-car, initially headedtowards the same intersection, abruptly turns around and heads back the way itcame. This seems suspicious to me, and I turn to follow it. I have to stopshort as the car is moving at a very slow speed, and my suspicions disappear asmy displeasure with their speed rises. I have kids to get to the hospital afterall.
In front of the slow cube-car is another vehicle goingequally slow, and I can’t wait any longer. I zoom around both cars as weapproach a bend in the road, and as I am about to move back over into the laneI am brought face-to-face with an oncoming car. I swerve violently and my carmoves out of the way of the approaching vehicle, but I overcompensate andswerve back across the road after they pass. This time luck has deserted me andI crash into the curb, running into the grass of a house I visited as a teen.
After standing there with my hands on my hips for a fewminutes just staring at the wrecked car I decide to head back to the hotel. Iskip over the return trip and find myself already experiencing the luxury ofthe hotel I’m booked in for a conference I’m attending, and still in Canada. Myfriends are waiting on me.
In the hotel room the atmosphere is quite sedate compared tomy earlier location. The room is spacious, with white walls and curtains andseems large enough for a dozen people or more to share. I seem to be on somekind of tour, and I’ve been led into the spacious and relaxing bathroom. Awoman is taking a bath but she gets up as we enter, allowing me to see the trueluxury of this hotel.
The bath itself is situated like a mountain stream. Thebather sits in a slanted trough with a rest at their back containing the watercontrols. Their body below mid-thigh rests on a slope with polished river rocksforming the bottom of the tub, the water diffusing down through the rockssomewhere near the end of the tub instead of a traditional drain. The rate ofthe water going out of the tub is the same as the water coming in, and thisallows the water to fill the tub and seem to remain still without appearinglike it is in constant motion.
I bring my face closer to the water surface and the termartesian well enters my mind. This is the true luxury of this hotel, wellbeyond any of the other amenities, and I can’t wait to bathe in it. The view ofthe water brings me to lucidity and I spend the next several minutes simplystaring at the water and the rocks below, watching light shimmer and reflectalong the bottom of the tub. Few sights have ever brought me as much pleasureas watching a flowing stream, something I associate with the Pisces in me. Idip my hands in the water and watch as the ripples trail from my fingers, adazzle of light that is truly captivating. The water was warm when I enteredthe room but as I play in it the water becomes cool and clear, just the way Iwant it.
The room is open to the west, and oddly I never see anyglass. The sun is low in the western sky and the pretty colors are starting tocome out, something you can only truly appreciate from a high vantage pointlike the hill this hotel sits on. It’s this view that puts the finishing touchon the luxury of this bathroom.
I stand and walk back into the main part of the hotel room.I see a couple of my friends but something is nagging at the back of my mind. With a puzzled look on my face I say, “Where are those kids?” No one sitting inthe room seems to know but they start getting up to look for them as thoughthey were lost keys hidden in the room. I turn to the curtains behind me andpart them, revealing a sliding glass door which leads to an interior patio usedfor seating and watching the outside without having to experience the heat orcold. Here I find the boys, lying on sleeping bags, and apparently their brokenarms have been taken care of with casts, though they still look severelyinjured.
Some movement catches my eye in the darkened room and as myfocus adjusts I see a pair of raccoons has invaded the room through the openexternal patio door. They appear to be digging for snacks the boys have left aroundin the room, the remainders of a night of recovery from their injuries. Myentrance has startled them, and a third raccoon on the external patio isalready scurrying away.
The raccoons run through the open door and I give chase. From the patio-deck they jump onto a low roof and around the corner of thehotel. It appears dark outside but as I come around the corner I see it is justa deep shadow created by the setting sun. The trio of raccoons has become afamily, and they scurry along the roof to the edge of the building where theyjump to an outcropping of rock. Limestone hills surround the hotel and leadtowards a small meadow at the edge of the property. The raccoons run throughthis meadow and jump off a cliff to some nearby trees. It looks dangerous and Iwonder if they sustain injury doing this, but they seem to reach the bottomjust fine.
My attention turns to the view of the sunset, fading colorslike fire dying in the sky. It’s a beautiful scene, and I wish I could linger, but I really need to get back to the hotel room, and in particular I need toget off the roof before it gets dark.
Climbing out onto the roof had been easy, a mere walk/runonto the gently sloped surface. Going back was not so smooth. I watched myfriend who I don’t remember being on the roof at all climb from the level I’mstanding on to a higher level that leads back to the room. The other roof isabout five feet above where I am and I don’t feel confident that I can make it,especially with the spiny cactus that has slid into place right in my path. Iknow I’m going to have to hold onto this cactus to get up but the tiny spinesare too difficult to grab onto comfortably, and I give up. I decide the bestcourse of action is to jump down to the ground floor below.
I land in the back of the building, a parking lot/loadingarea for the hotel’s restaurant. Immediately a Greek man walks up to me andasks me if I want to order breakfast. I feel a little surprised at hisforwardness, having never ordered breakfast from the loading area before.
“Well, I am hungry…”
Before I have even had a chance to talk about what I wouldlike to eat the man is calling out to someone to prepare another breakfast itemfor me. I have to hastily stop him before he can complete the sentence.

“Hold on. I don’t even know if I’m going to like what it is.”
He leads me further into the kitchen loading area where foodis stacked on high wheeled carts and shelves. His breakfast offering islikewise filling shelves on a cart, and it looks a little greener than Iusually care for in a breakfast item. The appearance is something like a smalltomato cake with jalapeno seeds and cabbage, a description that defiesimagination but seems to be very Greek in appearance.
“Can I try it?”
He won’t give me a whole one to try but instead hands me asmall piece of the green leafy substance that surrounds the outer part of the Greekcake wheel. It’s bitter and creamy for aleaf, an unusual combination that he seems enthralled with but I just don’tcare for it. I thank him and walk back to the room, still hungry but happy Ididn’t let him push his odd food on me.
In the room I sit down on the bed. My friends have left theroom to enjoy the night, and I’m alone with only the glow of a couple lamps tokeep me company. A few feet away a fax machine sits on a small table and it isspewing out a rather long document. I assume it’s printing out a message fromDream Views and I ignore it at first, walking over to sit at the nearby writingtable to do a little work. When I look again at the fax a moment later Irealize it’s printing out my entire address book of contacts, including privateinformation that I have notated with each name. I can only presume this wasgenerated by a computer error and I feel glad I was in the room when thishappened. If I had been out enjoying myself still I would have missed the printand sensitive information would have fallen into the wrong hands. I’m onlystaying in the hotel for one night and if this had occurred the next nightanother guest would have found this treasure-trove of a document.
I continue writing at the desk for a minute or two and whenI’m finished I sit back down on the bed. Since no one is around this seems likea good time to touch myself, and I slip down my shorts to my ankles. It doesn’ttake me long to get lost in the activity.
I’ve had my eyes closed while I enjoy myself, ignoring mysurroundings, but when I open my eyes I see that the deckchairs outside thewindow which I presumed were unoccupied actually had people lying on them. Ihad not been able to see the people because the backs of the chairs faced thewindow, and now I’m sitting here on the bed touching myself and completelyvisible. Even worse, one of the people is standing and I recognize him.
“Aagghh!!”
I utter a small scream and duck down behind the bed. In fullview of me and my self-pleasure is the hotel manager, standing next to one ofthe deck chairs and talking to a woman. He is dressed casually, a whitebutton-down loosely flowing in the breeze over a wife-beater t-shirt. He’s abalding man, likely in his fifties, with beady eyes and glasses that tend topeer down over his slight belly. The woman with him is clearly not his wife.
I’m doing my best to become invisible behind the bed, evengoing so far as to hold up a small towel over my face. My legs seem to besticking out past the end of the bed and I can’t pull them up any closer. Ipeek out from behind my rag as one of the staff members comes up to the man andtalks with him in a hurried manner. I’m pretty sure the man has seen me,judging by the look on his face and his continuous peeking in my direction. Ican’t tell what they’re actually saying but it is enough to draw the manageraway from his date. I feel that he told the staff member that he saw me and he’sunhappy about it, while the staff member probably said if he knows what’s goodfor him he’ll forget he saw me because I could expose him and his mistress tohis wife.
Whatever is said the man leaves without confronting me and Ican finally get up. My friends are sitting nearby on different beds and two ofthem are laughing at me and the situation, knowing I almost got caught twice.Thankfully I have escaped the uncomfortable events and all seems well.
And then I wake up.

4. Lucid Porn Class

by , 05-25-2012 at 01:59 AM
I liked this dream despite a few strange elements. It's the first dream I've ever had where I purposefully chose my gender during the dream, one of the best transformations ever!

The school day has started and I am walking the halls asthough a student, a backpack slung over my shoulder. I feel like a spy, oragent of some police force sent to figure out who is selling drugs or testscores, though nothing I see or do suggests this. It’s just a feeling.
I head down a set of stairs to my classroom, and the area iscluttered with people standing outside the door. It seems class isn’t open yet,and the bustle of people around me is causing quite a jam, spilling onto thestairs as well. Looking over at some of the people coming down the stairs Irealize they all have their blue books, ready to head to their class. I don’thave a blue book, or perhaps my teacher doesn’t use them, but I really feel Ishould have one of the blue books.
As we stand there it becomes clear that some other teacherhas left the campus for some unknown reason, and their students were sent to myclass as there was no other place to send them. I can’t imagine what it is thatwould drive a teacher to leave so abruptly and cause their class to have tocombine with another. It must have been serious.
We finally are let into the classroom and allowed to findseats as best we can. Standing there I feel a little anxious about not having myblue book, a feeling of confusion that we should have them but no one in sightexcept for the other class has brought them. I sit down at a desk with my backto the wall, the open doorway to my right and beyond the girl sitting next tome. People in the class start pairing up and sharing their blue books, and Ilook around to see if anyone is near me that will share. The girl sitting nextto me (on the right) is cute and she smiles at me before bumping her deskcloser to mine. A book is open on her desk and it’s clear she means to let mesee it also but I don’t believe it is the blue book we’re supposed to have.
In the row in front of me and diagonally to my right isanother cute girl, and she doesn’t mind sharing her book with me. She’s not as sexy-cute as thefirst girl but still very pretty, and her willingness to help me out is atremendous relief. At the front of the class a video is showing, displayed onan older tube-style TV on a stand. Not many people seem to be paying attentionto it and I find I am distracted by the girl before me, more so as she reachesback to me and we hold hands on a blanket that has appeared between us. I feelgrateful the teacher can not see us holding hands below the folds of the lumpyblanket.
The teacher has to leave class for a few minutes, presumablyto use the bathroom, and oddly he puts on his sport coat, a brownish tweedjacket that is a relic from years past. He hands me the remote for the TV and Ipresume it is because I am the oldest, and likely the most responsible, in theclass. It’s long and similar to the remote for my Sony TV so I feel comfortablebeing in control of the video, and I think he knew this. He walks out and thedoor shuts behind him.
With the door shut and the teacher gone, the paired upcouples in the classroom begin making out. It’s rather surprising for aclassroom that so many people would be able to hook up so quickly, though I’mnot opposed to the behavior. To enhance the mood someone changes the TV programto a pornographic movie though it doesn’t seem to encourage people to watch theTV. The girl I had been holding hands with has gotten up from her seat and hasmoved closer to the TV stand so she has room to smoke her bong. I’m impressedthat she has been able to get a bong into school, and I observe her take in arather large hit of smoke.
My friend Pearce has also been smoking weed and he seems tobe talking to me about the experience, though I’m barely listening. He hasbecome super-high, he tells me, and he definitely prefers this effect over theeffects of Ecstasy. This prompts me to reach into my backpack and pull out astring of blue pills, similar to a candy necklace, and I break one off and popit into my mouth. I hold the string upto his view and say, “I much prefer Ecstasy to weed.” I then lower the stringinto a film canister, placing a few coins on top to keep the pills from pryingeyes should I ever be investigated.
Walking around a couple desks and up to the front of theclass by the TV I reach my hand out to the girl I had been holding hands with. She extends her hand and shakes mine. “I never got to properly meet youearlier.”
“I’m Cat.” Her hand is soft.
At this moment I become completely lucid and debate how I shouldanswer her. I could go female or male, and during this time my appearance seemsto take on a fluid appearance, a shifting of colors and swirls that I can seealong my arms and legs. Guessing her to be more attracted to males and unlikelyto be a lesbian I decide to go with male and my form immediately solidifies.
“I’m Charles.”
My clothes have changed, and I’m wearing a light-blue denimshirt. I can feel a goatee on my face and my hair is now short. It’s a weirdfeeling being in this body but it seems to suit the situation better. I feelmore confident that she and I will make out soon.
Sniffing the air I have a moment of clarity and realize weneed to clear out the pot smoke from the room. I start looking around for some other source of smell, something worthyof opening a window. Behind me is an open doorway leading into a small bathroomand a rather homely-looking boy is sitting on the toilet. My gaze is returnedby a smile filled with braces gone wild, and a slight wave. In my mind Iidentify him as Dumpy-Humphrey, mainly because of his similarity to a boy Iwent to school with.
The pooping boy is a good start but I know we will needsomething more. I really need something stronger, something everyone hates. With a burst of courage and a lack of shame I shout to the class, “I need agirl to throw up!” I request a girlbecause they’re more likely to be acquainted with sticking their finger down their throat and puking.
Thankfully one of the girls obliges and makes a nice spot inthe corner. Good. I explain to the other girl I thought was cute; “We couldopen up a window now because of the smell, to air things out and not besuspicious.”
Knowing the teacher is likely returning any second I take aquick look around the room. The TV is still on and the people on the screenseem awfully familiar, and look suspiciously like the people in the porn movieThe Room which Adult Swim likes to air on April Fool’s Day. Oh my God, I think,is the TV still showing PORN??!! No, it’sokay, I realize it’s just the show from earlier and someone has kindly switchedit back from the adult movie during the time I was looking for someone to throwup. All is well.
And then I wake up.

5. Truck Leap-Frog - 05222012 - 1st Dream

by , 05-25-2012 at 01:38 AM
I had this lucid dream during a WBTB. I find the imagery interesting as it combines elements from California and my old job.

I’ve left a place and I need to head home, but for somereason I have to deliver two vehicles to my house. One is a black truck, theother is my silver SUV. I have no recall who the black truck belonged to, onlythat it has become my responsibility to get it to my house.
While driving along in my SUV, I cross over a highway that Ineed to use to get home. The image is similar to one in Califoirnia near my dad’shouse, lots of trees and no businesses facing the highway. It’s almost pretty.
After crossing over the highway I turn left to go down anaccess ramp that leads directly onto the highway. On the right side of the roadis emergency parking, and every space is outlined in blue with wheelchairmarkings painted on the road surface, indicating that each spot is designatedfor handicapped parking only.
I’m still quite far from home and even if I drive my SUV allthe way to my house I still have to come the whole way back to retrieve theblack truck. Pondering this, the best solution seems to be a leapfrog approachwhere I park one vehicle, go back for the other and drive it part of the waybefore stopping and doing the same thing with the other vehicle. Sure, thiswill work.
I pull over in a handicapped spot halfway down the ramp. Ihad seen a police car pass by earlier and I don’t want a ticket so I try tomake sure my vehicle is far enough down the hill from the roadway behind me tonot be seen by passing cars. I hesitantly head back to my previous location toretrieve the black truck.
The former location seems to be a combination of a 7-11 anda former waterpark in Austin that hasn’t existed since the late 70’s. Everyoneseems to be standing around, loitering inside the store and not beingproductive in helping me obtain and move the vehicles. I get fed up with peoplestanding around with their hands in their pockets and finally ask what is goingon. It turns out that everyone is waiting on Slurpees. Something is wrong andthe people are simply waiting for their frozen drinks.
I stalk out in anger and frustration, wanting to yell attheir stupidity but knowing it won’t change anything. I manage to get the blacktruck on my own and head back over to where my silver SUV is illegally parked.
I still don’t want to get a ticket for my behavior so Iconjure a plan to help me out in case a police car comes by. The truck seemsbig enough to be a police vehicle so I stick my hands in the air and makeswirling motions above my head with my index fingers. From my mouth I go, “Woo-woo-woo-woo!”acting like a police car pulling over someone. I seem to be utterly convincedthis charade would fool any passers-by.
I walk up to the car worrying it may be unlocked and vandalized, but to my surprise Spike (from My Little Pony) has secured the vehicle to anearby fence with a chain. However, as I begin to inspect the arrangement, Irealize he has thread the chain through the weak links in the metal fenceinstead of a nearby sturdy pole, and the tiny brass lock he has applied is noteven secured, but dangles open with the clasp far from being latched.
I roll my eyes at this blatant lack of security and the incompetenceof Spike, and this causes me to mutter, “Dragons!” under my breath. Instead of securing the chain I walk slightlyup the embankment towards a nearby store, intending to perform some actionthere.
But I wake up.

6. Lucid Magic 05212012 - First Dream

by , 05-25-2012 at 12:57 AM
I had this lucid and it was one of the most incredible and thought-provoking experiences. I hope I do this again.

I’m aware as I slip into sleep, and I find myself lying on abook in the middle of a magical landscape. The walls of the room are gone and theworld I’m in is nothing like anything I’ve encountered before. Here anything ispossible, and my scene is so fluid that some objects do not even have shape. Those that do have form do not resemble structures or objects that I’m familiarwith, and I find myself staring at what’s around me.
Beneath the book I’m lying on there is no visible ground. The light seems to come from every direction, and is a shade of red I’m not normallyacquainted with. The light seems to fill not only the scene but also be part ofmany of the objects I see.
As I look around and become aware of what’s around me I havemoments of clarity, and each moment corresponds to a different wave of energypassing over me and through all the objects within my view. As each wave hitsthe objects it causes changes in their levels of illumination, each becomingbriefly brighter as though charged with power.
Behind my back and also on the book is a four-foot highblock, though it might be part of the book itself. It occasionally pokes me inthe back, and it’s hot. I briefly become aware that my daughter is kicking mein my back in real life, but in the dream this is represented by the spikyshape poking me.
As the waves of energy pass over I realize they are waves ofthought, stemming from my occasional awareness of the real world, and as thewaves strike the objects they not only light up but resonate. Everything vibrates, and the frequency is different depending on whether the object is good or evil.Good objects are filled with a brighter form of illumination, like an internalwhite light. All evil objects become dark from within and have shades of blackmixed in with the red. Their resonance is similarly affected, though this isharder to describe. The whole scenegives me some anxiety, though it could also stem from the shape poking me inthe back.
As I shift back and forth between sleep and a hazy awarenessof the real world I discover I can move objects into and out of the dream. Theonly objects around me are my stuffed dog and my pillow. Feeling safer with mypillow’s bigger size, I bring it into the dream. It’s a lot comfier than thebook and it helps shield me from the sharp pokes I’m still getting in the back. It shines with a white glow and itssubstance pulsates with a pattern of light wholly different than everythingelse I can see. It’s softer, too.
I feel like I’m about to come to some conclusion about thenature of objects in the universe, and how they relate to conscious thought, but then I wake up.

this is the first lucid dream i experienced without help from sleep paralysis.
west virginia, 2009?

i was thrown into a night scene of an old city. when i realized i was dreaming i got so excited and started running through the empty street kicking and destroying everything. i instantly questioned my choices and said "why am i doing this? i want to be in the SKY!" i didn't know how to get there so i closed my eyes and tried to teleport, and i was so overwhelmed with energy that i burst into space and exploded into a thousand shimmering pieces.

#1 - Why Do They Keep Coming!? [Non-Lucid]

The dream started out at my house, and somewhere down the line it turned into J's house. I'm not exactly sure when the switch took place, but I'm pretty sure this first part happened at least mostly in my house. People kept coming over and then leaving, all totally random people, and it was making me nervous for some reason. Then one of the guys who came over pulled out a tiny revolver. I jump up to him and try to pull the gun away from him but he won't let go, and we're locked in kind of a struggle to push the barrel in each others' direction, and in the end I manage to face it up under his neck and pull the trigger. There's not much gore or anything, in fact after that I think he just leaves. But I was still really on edge for the rest of the dream, and when we were suddenly at J's house (which wasn't his real house) I started obsessively searching for objects around the house to weaponize to protect myself against the random people who kept coming over.

#2 - My Powers Have Increased! [DILD]

I was back taking classes in middle school again, still at my current age like always, and O was there in my first class but I can't really remember what it was about. I guess it was the end of the year or something because we were taking our final exams, and after the first one I tried to go to the second one but the layout of the school wasn't right. The stairwells were gone and I had to search all over for a way to get to the second floor where my class was, and finally I found the stairs behind two closed doors that actually lead to two classrooms in waking life. Once I found the stairs there, I became lucid. I decided to keep heading to the class, but the thought of walking up the stairs was rather disheartening. X) I took two or three steps and as I was doing so said out loud "I'm already there." and the scenery around me just sort of phased into the classroom. Sweet! The entire back wall was just windows so I walked up to it and looked out, we were very high up and overlooking a highway. Definitely absolutely nothing like the area around my middle school, but a pretty awesome view for a middle school classroom if I do say so myself! I noticed that there were barely any students or even desks in the class, and I think I recall someone saying it was the math exam (I'm pretty sure the previous one was for English). I can't help but notice that the teacher is unbelievably obese. >.> She walks up to me and hands me my exam, and I just kind of drop it and put my arm around her shoulder and get her to walk with me. I said something about how I was going to help her and I called her Sarah, though I'm not sure where I got that name from. I snapped my fingers with the intention that she would become young and thin, and she did, right before my eyes! But then I got greedy. I snapped my fingers again trying to change her into a girl, AD, that I've known since elementary school, and it sort of worked but she was really lanky and unhealthy looking, shoulda stuck with the first success. Anyway, I tried to get her to have sex with me, but before I could even really get the whole thought out the whole scene started becoming geometric and bizarre, and it become unstable enough that it just fell apart and I woke up. Damn. :T

9. Got the hang of it now!

by , 05-24-2012 at 06:39 AM
I was at the radio station I work at, the boss came in and told me to do something for him. It was strange because all of the screens in the place had turned into those huge box tv's. By the time I was done it was *looks at watch* MIDNIGHT?! I was meant to be home hours ago!! I shot up out of my chair but then thought "Hang on a minute why on earth would I be here at midnight?" I RC'd (RC - 1 Point) I could breathe! I became lucid (Lucid - 5 Points) I ran outside in the hope to teleport and find my team mates. I tried one last time with the archers system (see previous dream in my workbook to see what this is) but to no avail. I set about trying to find a phone, (because that's how I teleport) stopping to think for a minute as to where one would be in a dream. I had an idea and set off towards the reception, unfortunately it was taking time so I used my new found power of super speed (Super Speed - 4 Points) and I was there in a second. Unfortunately I massively overshot the reception and ended up in a sweet shop. Here I got distracted and lost lucidity as I chewed quietly on the sweets I'd stole (I wouldn't really steal, but it's a dream and thought I might as well). Then the dream ended because my alarm woke me up (Full Dream - 1 Point)

Points:
1x RC - 1 Point
1x Lucid - 5 Points
1x Super Speed - 4 Points
1x Full Dream - 1 Point

TOTAL = 11 Points

10. In the Sky

by , 05-23-2012 at 04:06 PM (Zoe's weird things)
[I went to sleep yesterday knowing that i can't sleep more than 7 hours and i might not get an LD, but i was still hopeful for an early one, it paid off ^^]
[The lucid part of this dream happened at around 7:40AM]

It all originated from a really long dream... it was about me and my teacher driving around the country for "sightseeing". She was driving a small car which had a trailer and i was sitting in that. While going past a grassy field, i got a little skeptic and just for fun i tried to lift another car up in the air with telekinesis as a kind of reality check. It didn't want to work out, so i just accepted it, but i remained a little more aware than usual.
When we almost got home, i suddenly became lucid just randomly thanks to my higher awareness.

I flew up from the trailer and hovered in the air for a while. I got my thoughts together and remembered that i had a dream before where i was practicing lucid dreaming on the street with others... i thought of how stupid i was that i didn't get lucid because of that...
Then i flew all the way to our house, just to look around the neighbourhood for a while. While flying i noticed a small dog sitting at the doorstep of a house, looking all sad... then suddenly i heard a random girl voice from somewhere that said "Poor little doggy..."
After that voice for some reason i had a thought that the dog is sick...
[I didn't stop just to pet that dog, i wanted to do something more important instead, but secretly i wanted to stop by... i don't know why i didn't... Next time i'll pay a visit to him ]

As i was flying around i realized that there were some thin clouds really close the the ground... i got a sudden thought that clouds might taste like candy floss... My goal was clear after this: to eat a cloud!
I started flying upwards in a straight line, passing the thin clouds and getting more and more covered in the bigger ones.
As i was advancing i totally forgot to stop and taste a cloud, it just felt too good just going as high as i can...
After a while the white clouds started getting darker and it started to rain. It felt really real as the raindrops touched my skin. They were as big as apples, not like regular raindrops. I focused on the feeling as the raindrops touch my skin and it was a surprisingly awesome sensation It's just hard to put into words what i felt...

I kept flying higher and higher and suddenly i popped out of the cover of clouds, there were no more of them anywhere other than at my feet. I stopped advancing as what i found up there just amazed me. Lightnings were arching in every direction in the sky, constantly flashing and lighting the darkness above. It looked really similar to this:

I was just staring at it and thinking that a lightning might hit me, but i didn't care. I wanted it to happen, i wanted to be hit by the lightning if that's what's gonna happen.... But i didn't focus on it intentionally, so it didn't happen after all.

I looked down and the clouds at my feet were less orderized, more scattered around than when i passed between them. I could see a huge grassy field down there and a long white building in the middle, with some forests further on the field. I think i've seen some animals walking by on the field, but i was just up too high to really determine what was it. I just felt really happy and satisfied up there... and i decided to stay instead of doing anything else.
Suddenly i found some tendrils hanging by from a cloud and i grabbed onto them. They formed a swing under me and i was just swinging there not caring about anything. I was shouting things like "WOOOAH!" and "THIS IS THE TOP OF THE WORLD!" .
I still heard the lightning sky buzzing above at times, but everything was just so calm and peaceful...

I was swinging there for a while, just enjoying it, but then i suddenly woke up.... or at least i thought so... I got a false awakening.
I suddenly found myself on the same street where i got lucid, but now i was sitting at a bench-desk (it's that bench-desk which they have in schools). At first i was suspicious, after all how could i get there? But then a girl and a boy came up to me and asked if i succeeded in getting a lucid dream. I told them that i did and they congratulated me. After this i lost my lucidity fully.
There was a pair of girls at another table close to me, they were trying to get lucid too.
I attempted to get another lucid dream at that bench-desk, i closed my eyes and focused then i got the same feelings just like when doing WILD, it felt really real, so i didn't suspect anything anymore. I fell "asleep", but then two guys woke me up as they were tourists and wanted to ask for directions.... then i woke up soon for real.

[I still can't believe how i could lose lucidity like that... it's really unusual for me... :/]
[Anyway, it was a fun dream, it just felt so good being up there in the sky, it was just so peaceful.... i wish i could really explain it better that how it felt to be there... ]

11. 23rd May 2012 - Third Lucid Dream [Though, quite short]

by , 05-23-2012 at 02:01 PM
Italic Text = Personal Thoughts
Normal Text = Non-Lucid Segment
Purple Text = Lucid Segment

Prior to this dream I had been taking Sageous' advice for WBTBs from his WILD class, as well as dream incubating and generally telling myself that I was going to recognise that I was dreaming next time I was in a dream.

The dream before this I also achieved another milestone, I was successfully able to "chain" two dreams together after incubating the previous dream. I didn't become lucid in that one though.

I was at some sort of theme park with my mum, my sister & her children and my brother & his girlfriend. I forget large portions of the beginning of the dream, there's fragments of us going around the park on all sorts of different rides and doing different activities. Although, I'm not entirely sure if they are fragments or just drastic scene changes, as drastic scene changes are a common occurrence in my dreams.

Near closing time for the park, me and my mum depart from the group to go find our car as we couldn't remember where we parked it. We were walking up this hill, which upon waking I realise how realistic it was. I could feel my legs getting tired and struggling to walk up this hill after a day of walking around the theme park. Eventually we reach the parking lot, we look around for our car but there are so many we don't seem to be able to find it.

We meet back up with my brother and sister who we queue up with as we're going out the park, we all get in my brother's car and start driving off. I question what we're going to do about my mum's car because surely we can't just leave it at the park. I'm assured that it's fine and we can just pick it up next time we come to the park.

I start becoming suspicious, going to theme parks with my family isn't a common occurrence, but somewhat brush it off anyway. We begin discussing when next we would be coming and planning a date, when I realise we're no longer driving on the road. We're on the sidewalk next to the road, driving over patches of grass and rocks.

I do a reality check by counting my fingers, which fails, although I'm still suspicious. Awareness kicks in and I'm realising that despite driving over this rough terrain the car's driving along smoothly, as if it was flying above the ground slightly. I also realise there doesn't seem to be any sense of gravity of G-Force from the moving car.

I force my mind to get in the "Reverse Reality Check" mindset that Sageous has been teaching in his WILD class and begin "pulling" my consciousness into the dream world by solidifying my place in the dream, and realising what that truly means. I count my fingers again, but it still fails. I decide to try another reality check, I plug my nose and am shocked when I am able to breathe!

I'm still sceptical, I was thinking about jumping out of the car but after so many failed reality checks I didn't want to risk that just incase it was real life. I put my finger up to the window of the car and try to will it through the glass, but it fails also. I undo my seatbelt and definitely begin to realise there's no sense of realistic gravity here, there's nothing pulling me back into my seat when I sit forward.

I try to imagine myself floating and then going out through the roof of the car, I float up somewhat but don't quite make it all the way out of the car and fall back into my seat. I look at the window again and really try to will my finger going through, pushing harder and harder on the glass but with no luck, it seems solid.

I become frustrated, I know it's a dream but nothing I seem to do is working. I guess because of how sceptical my mind was after all the failed reality checks.

At this point the dream starts becoming fuzzy, I can feel myself losing the dream so I become calm and focus to the best I can. The dream fades back in momentarily but as soon as I drop focus it instantly goes to black and I find myself back in the waking world.
12. Terminator 3!

by , 05-23-2012 at 01:04 PM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
3 Words: BEST. DREAM. EVER.

I suddenly become lucid. Not sure how or where. I decided I wanted a Terminator 3 based dream. So, I summoned the TX and the T-850. Like in the movie, the TX tries to kill me and the T-850 defends me. I don't remember much from the dream, but I remember this part very clearly:

I was in a school. I ran into a classroom and went in the closet to hide. It was completely empty, not even a shelf or a light. I could see as if there was a light, though. Unfortunately, the TX opened the door, and the first thing it saw was me. It didn't even have to look around first. It just walked in and looked straight at me as if it already knew where I was hiding. It prepared it's weapon and was about to fire it. I was afraid if I was killed the dream would end, so I teleported the T-850 to the classroom. It took full advantage and shoved the TX to the floor. I can't remember anything else, so I'm going to consider it a dream fragment.

Again, BEST LD EVER!!!! :bravo:

If you haven't seen the movie, you should check it out!

Red = Lucid Dream
Blue = Dream

On Sunday (20-05-2012) I had my first real lucid dream since joining DV. It was also the first lucid dream I actually did something in.

I woke up in bed still having my body and half of my face paralyzed, I decided I wouldn't move and go back to sleep. Moments later I found myself waking up in the bed of my childhood home. I did a reality test (pinching the nose and breathing) and decided I was dreaming. The dream was really fuzzy and I forgot to stabilize the dream but I had some time to do things. I decided to walk to the bathroom where I would find a cute girl. On the way to the door I bumped into some electric guitars. There must have been 20 of them. I knocked a few over but didn't feel concerned as this was a dream anyway. I then got to the bathroom and found the cute sitting on the floor in darkness. Then the dream faded.

Again I decided to stay still and go to the next dream. The first image was one of two poorly rolled joints, I used my concentration to turn them into one well-rolled joint. As I lit it and took a toke a room materialized around me. It was a living room with two couches and a TV and an open kitchen. I recognized two friends, but there also was a third unidentified person. I did a reality check and then one of my friends started talking to me. Intuitively I knew he was only talking to me to distract me from having a lucid dream to I interrupted him and said 'Hold on'. I stood up and walked to a window, opened it, choose a part of the night sky to fly towards and jumped off. The flying was really cool, I felt as if I was being pulled towards the area I was focusing on. The night sky had more stars on it than I had ever seen before, it was amazing to watch. I decided to fly into space so I banked up and watched the stars fly past me. I decided I wanted to make space more psychedelic but my attempt failed and looked more like white paint thrown on black canvas. The dream faded and I woke up.

This morning (23-05-2012) I had another lucid dream. It was a wb2b. I found myself walking through a town street with red brick buildings everywhere. I knew I was lucid but did a reality check anyway. This time I did so some things to stabilize the dream. I rubbed my hand and started focusing on the world around me. On the wall of a church I found a brick with a blue-glazed square on it and a circle indented on the middle of it. I decided to focus on the brick and send my consciousness closer to it so I could fly through the minute details of the brick. I felt myself flying, as a speck of awareness, towards the brick and I started to have a real good look at it. The blue square disappeared and I found myself back in my body.

I decided to do something else and imagined a group of hot women waiting for me inside the church and I was going to have a sex ritual performed on me. There was a door near me in the side of the church and I walked in. There was a large group of attractive women and I thought this couldn't go any better, but as I got closer to the altar I saw a lot of my family in the crowd. I sent out a mental message for them to leave the church and everyone except my aunt left. When I told my aunt she had to leave she became confused and started asking me why and telling everyone how confused she was.

14. Wow, what are these exams doing to me?!

by , 05-23-2012 at 07:46 AM
Despite being in the heat of exams right now I've been having more LD's then ever before! Here's the one from last nights adventures ;D

I was lucid from the start of the dream which surprised me a little (Lucid - 5 Points) and I was at work. I then went upstairs to see what was upstairs and found row upon row of computers. I used them to design some stuff and the glanced out of the window. What should have been a sunset was actually an earthset, The earth was setting!! it was such a beautiful sight. Anyway I looked at the time, it was 7.20pm my last bus was at 6.20! I thought I'd try and text my mum to come and pick me up but then I ran into some friends. They were messing about with bins outside, clearly heavily intoxicated. Once I had got bored and moved on I looked at the time again to see it was 2pm the next day! I had been missing an entire day! I decided not to bother phoning or using the busses and to earn myself some points instead.
I looked towards home and sped off, running at super speed (Super speed - 4 Points). I couldn't keep that up for long, it was very tiring. So I decided to fly instead (Fly - 4 Points) after a while though that got tiring too. I was very close to home and just thought "Screw home I'm getting more points!" I decided to summon my armour since it may come in handy. I said loudly "Archers armour, Release!" and blue crystals shot out of my chest, legs and arms as they completely covered me forming my armour (Basic summon - Now I don't know if this would be advanced summoning or not, but since it's my first time I'll put it at basic - 4 Points). Then I decided to try and teleport which I remembered held alot of points with it. I tried to summon the Archers system that would usually help me open teleports and things but it didn't appear so I decided to fly again (Fly - 4 points) unfortunately I knocked a few baubles off of this christmas tree I flew past which brought me to the ground. Giving up on flying I went and spoke to a DC (Interact with a DC - 2 Points) Then the dream ended. (Full Dream - 1 Point)

Points:
1x Lucid - 5pts
1x Super speed - 4pts
2x Fly -8pts
1x Basic summon - 4pts
1x Interact with DC - 2pts
1x Full dream - 1pt

STEP TASKS COMPLETED!
Basic summon +5 Points
Super speed +10 Points

TOTAL = 39 Points

15. Shapeshifting, Airbending, and Pure Lucidity

by , 05-23-2012 at 02:24 AM (The Infinite Domain)
Awake|Non-Lucid|Lucid
Shapeshifting, Airbending, and Pure Lucidity

I fell asleep with no intention of lucidity, and surprisingly attained it without any dream checks or outrageous dream signs being revealed. I feel like beaches recur constantly in my dreams... This is the fourth dream which I've been on a beach, this week alone

I wake up on a sandy shore, around dusk. The sun had already set, but the purple sky was still illuminated by the reflective and distant clouds. I can immediately tell that I'm on a a large island, reason being the lack of tall vegetation. Someone had managed to create a bonfire near the center of this isle. I walk over to find my friend, Zach discovering a new talent of his: airbending. I don't remember any dialogue occurring, but I feel a tingly sensation throughout my body.

I didn't perform a reality check, but rather focused on stabilizing the dream. I rubbed my hands together, which brought about an explosive aurora of color into the gloomy dreamscape. Although it was still dusk, vividness arose.

By this time I know I have a solid base of lucidity that will not be easily interrupted; it feels pretty damn real.

I conjure a staff unto my right hand, and engage in combat with Zach. I easily overpower him with countless powerful whooshes and gusts of wind.

I begin seeing red for reasons unknown, and I begin to run along the shoreline on all fours. I feel a transformation occurring, and pick up a significant amount of speed. As the sand is kicked up behind me, I look down at my newly developed hands, which resemble the paws of a wolf.

I must've been running for a good 10 minutes, because I eventually get bored and purposely wake myself up to write down this dream. This one was quite fascinating, as I've never really shapeshifted in my dreams. Being a wolf is my new personal favorite, and I hope to experience this transformation again when I lucid dream next.
