Forgot to remember my dreams again. I was with a few people looking at a map, when they pointed to a spot and I was suddenly in a boat in the ocean where the person pointed. I was like "Okay guys, this is good" then it got really REALLY cold and I could see icebergs in the moonlight and they said "You're going into the Arctic Circle!" "NOOOO!!!!" Memory gap. I wake up
15.09.2010Business and DV (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I have been focused a lot in my business these days. I will be super busy the entire week (something happend with the Cabins so I ended up staying at home and worked some more) Just a fragment: A company I am associate with had a IRC and had an odd room that talked about Lucid Dreaming. Alex (yes, DV's owner) also owned that chat. He had a different nickname but I guessed it was him. I wanted to talk with one guy to assign him one of my jobs and get him to complete it for me. We met at the IRC and he gave me a link. The link lead to an odd site. I guy asked me some questions and told me if I could help him with his Spanish. The scenery changed and I was in the country. It was sunny and I was outdoors, but still scheduling work. Missed dream signs: - None. What I would have done if lucid: - Head for a ToTY.
There were a group of scientists visiting a remote island outside of Africa in the early 1930's, there were two contingents, a secret contingent and a known anthropoligist contingent. The secret contingent found what they were looking for and were told by who was funding the operation to keep this secret at whatever cost, including killing the anthropologists and making it look like the local natives did it. The secret contingent didn't want blood on their hands, so, they left the anthropologists on the island with no way of getting off. They were all british by the way. The anthropologists with nothing better to do decided to continue with what they had come there for, and to study the local natives, which looked like the folks out of the movie shockazulu. There was a married couple, a white male anthropoligist and a female. The female fell in love with one of the native higher ups. The male anthropologists stiffened at this, they were pretty racists in the 30's, and they disrespected the native tribes man the female anthropoligist was knocking boots with. Offended, the shockazulu tribesman banded together his people and they killed all the anthropoligists, except of course the whilte female. The perspective of this dream was wierd in the sense that I was rotating from person to person. It was like a movie and i would rotate between all the main characters.

Like most of my early lucid dreams, there was a nonlucid part that I'm going to skip over and ignore. Although, If I remember correctly, this is where the famous "herryour sandwich" dream happened. Anyways, I got lucid, but for some reason, I wasn't moving. I don't know if it was because I couldn't move, or was in "spectator" mode. Or because I was just too blown away by what I was seeing to actually be engaged in it. Also, if you've ever wondered why in my dreams, I flag my dream characters; Lia and Jonathan as good and evil archetypes. This is why. I recognized the dream location immediately. It was an imaginary city that I dreampt up as a child. The city was called Vejasu. (Pronounced VE-HAH-SUE) The idea was that the city was built in a massive crater, and therefore surrounded by mountains. This created a massive circular valley, roughly 20 miles on edge. Most of the valley was filled with water, but there was a small island only about two miles across where the actual city was. But this was where the similarities to my imaginary city ended. The island was mostly just an open field. There were a few scattered ruins implying the city had long since been abandoned/destroyed. Final note, the sky was clear and it was sunny. Save for the building we were on. It looked like some armored warehouse or fortress made from stone and metal, with gravel on the roof. But I wasn't at all transfixed by the setting. It was what was going on in front of me. Lia and Jonathan were fighting. Jonathan was operating some kind of robotic suit that could best be described as the body of a very muscular man made of a copper-colored metal. The suit lacked a head, but rather a cockpit where I could see a sort of bust-shot of Jonathan. The rest of him, obviously inside, controlling whatever device. Lia didn't have anything. (Why do the bad guys always get the cool stuff?!) But she was holding her own by doing this duck and weave thing. (I never took her as atheltic/agile at all until this day.) From what I could gather, she was trying to climb up the mech and get him out of there. Jonathan eventually landed a punch and sent her off the roof of said building. I was finally able to move and went after her, forgetting about my dream "nemesis". I jumped off the roof and came next to her, where she didn't look injured or even dazed. But she was laying on the ground and didn't seem capable of moving. We just looked at each other for a few seconds, until I looked over to see Jonathan. He wasn't in the mech suit anymore, and he was pointing a gun at me. Bang! I woke up.
15.09.2010Back to Maria Auxiliadora (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID Note: Maria Auxiliadora is the school I grew up in back in Venezuela, before I moved to Canada in 2007. My classmates in Maria Auxiliadora were basically like family to me, since we grew up together (it was the same class from when we were 6 years old, until we either graduated or moved to another school/city/country, in my case it was another country, while I was in grade 8) I find myself hurrying to the cafeteria in Maria Auxiliadora, lunch just started and I don't want to line up to buy my lunch. I see some of my friends (friends from my old school in Venezuela), which for some reason I feel like I haven't seen them in years, but I control my urge to go and hug them. I also see some closer friends (my current friends in Canada) among them my girlfriend. It seems odd how I can't recall my two groups of friends ever talking to each other. I stay in lunch with my girlfriend, and notice the day is really cloudy, seems like it could rain any time soon. It'd be cool if it rained, maybe we could play soccer under the rain, it's so refreshing. The bell goes and I have to go to class but I'm confused about what classroom I have to go to (In Venezuela you have only one classroom, teachers are the ones that move in between classrooms, not the students, and of course I'm already used to the North American High School system). I decide to follow my best friend, although he looks like he is mad at me. I lose sight of him and I choose to skip this period. I walk around the school and see my filipino friend Isaac, I ask him if he has seen my girlfriend Luisa, he asks me if I have seen his girlfriend Lara. We laugh and decide we should go looking for both of them. I wake up for school.
Again I cannot remember any of my dream, even after laying in bed trying to recall it for 15 minutes. I think it's the fact that I have to go to bed around 11 or 12 because of the amount of homework I have, and I have to wake up at 6:15 to get ready for school in time. I think the not remembering dreams is because I haven't been getting enough sleep. I had a light amount of homework today so I'm going to go to bed around 9 tonight and get a lot more sleep than I normally do. Hopefully this will let me remember at least one good dream. Wish me luck!
Dream Night - 9/14/10 Non-Dream Dream Lucid Well I was falling asleep, and then I see these strange blue swirls, (might have been a sign I was getting a WILD), and then I fall asleep without becoming lucid. I am in school, in Italian class. My teacher looks over my summer work, and we talk about my vacation to Italy this summer. In the hallway, I see a board with pictures of my classmates eating breakfast in 1st period, and I wasn't there. I didn't get my schedule, so I go to the office to ask for one. I ask the elderly secretary to get me a copy. I tell her my name, and as she types it, I have a middle name of SEMEN SEMEN SEMEN. I tell her it is wrong but she ignores me. I took the keyboard and mouse and began playing Touhou 10 - Mountain of Faith (A PC shoot-'em-up). I then ask a male secretary to get me my schedule and he can't help me either. The bell rings to signal the end of class and then I wake up. So this was strange.
I have had several lucid dreams in the past. In some of these dreams I have been able to completely control the situation and in others I have had no control. Today I am deciding to start a dream journal.
September 15, 2010 Not so crazy, last night Asleep by 12:30-ish. Murder most foul! Mostly just watching a dream involving AMC* characters and their current storyline. Someone was murdered and someone else is wrongfully accused. My character (who has no show equivalent - I was myself, sort of) was trying to find the real murderer. Awake at 3:30am. Well before my alarm, which I had set for 5:00am. I decided since it was a natural wake up, I would do my WBTB now. I did some math questions on the Brain Age game, thought about some goals and such. Decided to MILD when back in bed, but still very tired, recovering from the night before. Passed out. Banff adventures [At a restaurant] Dream starts out with me and others at a snazzy sort of restaurant. I'm eating this selection of meat samples. As in, a new plate of a sample-size of a new dish keeps getting brought to me. I found the last piece rather odd. I can't remember exactly, but someone called it "stuzzy" or the like. As we're leaving someone asks, "Did you enjoy that last one?" "Ehhh," I say. "Not really, why." "Oh good, it was dog," my friend says, nonchalantly. "WHAT?!" [Renting a cabin] Jack and I are in Banff on a trip and we rent a cabin. The scene flips slightly and we find out his whole family is now going, so I say, "Hey, I think we're still renting that cabin..." I think to myself, "Why would I still be renting it? How many days have we been back in the city? How much did this all cost?!!" I'm walking alone along the outskirts of this amusement park, in Banff, now (which doesn't have one IWL, btw). I see Jack's cousins already chilling inside, and they are talking very loudly with each other. As I walk along the sides to get in to join them, I hear kids muttering, "Why do they have to talk so loud?" Jack and I join them, and they hand us their babies, however, mine is only a doll (my guess is... one set already has a kid, and the other set is expecting, which is why I got a doll). We take them over to where a group of my WL friends are standing. Lily (who is pregnant) wants to know why we're carrying babies. She is standing with Kristine (who is also pregnant). (I know a lot of pregnant people at the moment, yes.) Awake again. Tried to MILD mantra again. Still supremely tired and passed out again without any focus. Food dream I'm at a breakfast buffet. I'm loading up with many awesome things like syrup drenched waffles, bacon and eggs... I come across these odd things. They're eggs benedict, but baked inside of a croissant. Interesting. I take that too Now it's lunch and I go into the kitchen. There's a girl in there who is cooking a soup. I ask her, "Why aren't there any fries on? People are going to want them." "I don't care what people want!" She answers. "They aren't good for you, and I'm the cook. They'll eat what I make." I decide I really like this girl's attitude, so I set about to help her. She's making a meatloaf, but presenting it like a parfait, complete with mashed potatoes and gravy to look like ice cream and syrup. This girl is a genius! My mum is here too, so I pay for both our dishes. There's some confusion with the money, because I guess I had paid in advance for mine, but she accidentally charged me twice. She decided to give my money back for the first charge and start fresh, but she kept asking her manager if it was okay. There's another bit after this I'm having troubles recalling. Mum and I walk to the convenience store in the rain for drinks. We're in there and chatting with the till person, but I can't remember more than this. *AMC = All My Children - a terrible soap opera that I watch due to some faulty female wiring
3rd Lucid This is my 3rd lucid dream and i'm starting to have one every week which is a big accomplishment for me because I didn't expect to have this many even if they are only 5 to 10 seconds long KEY: Red = Non-lucid Blue = Lucid Ok first I go to bed get comfy and fall asleep but before I do all of that, I set an alarm to wake me up in the middle of the night and the time was set for 4:30 AM (I think.) and I did this because one I go to sleep at 10 PM everyday because of school and 4:30 is a good time to wake up because I will already have been sleeping for 5-6 hours and two because I wanted to do a WBTB into a DILD. So after the 5-6 hours I have been sleeping, I wake up from my alarm. I get comfy again and I fall asleep. My dream starts with ShaneDawson (yes the guy on youtube) doing a Christmas special!?!? Once that was over with I was in my house and I was dressed as though I was about to go to school. Everything in my house looked the same except for the kitchen was smaller and the oven was where the refrigerator was suppose to be. I look at the clock on the oven at it said 10:27 and I was like "Crap I got to go to school!" then it came to my mind that I don't go to school at 10:27. I looked at the timer again and even walked up to it looked at it and thats when I realized "I'm DREAMING!" I dropped my backpack on the ground at ran towards the stairs and then I remembered that I needed to stabilize the dream so then I calmed down and closed my eyes. (BIG MISTAKE) I woke up (or did I?) I remembered reading something saying that if you wake up and don't move you will go into sleep paralysis and you can go back into a lucid dream so thats exactly what I did. I dreamed about sleep paralysis and my dream was that you put a laptop on you with a spinning keyboard that vibrates. When you do that you go through sleep paralysis and it felt really weird... My body was vibrating and all of that stuff but the thing was I could move. When that dream ended it said in the dream "YOU HAVE JUST BEEN PUMPED" then I woke up. (Again?) When I woke up, I realized that when I closed my eyes and woke up it was just a false awakening and I could of continued on with my lucid dream :I So it goes to show... When you have a lucid dream and you close your eyes and wake up in your room DO A REALITY CHECK. ~FIN

It was nearing the end of the day, and I was going to one of my last classes. I was exhausted from school and couldn't wait to go home. I stepped into the classroom and instantly my mood was uplifted when I saw who was sitting at my table. A wave of happiness rushed over me. The German Exchange student had returned from Germany. "Hi!" He said. His face, his voice, everything was so vivid. It was clearer than reality, and now that I was seeing my old friend again it was better. "I've missed you so much!" I shouted, and leaped into his arms, giving him the biggest hug ever. I no longer felt worried about school, I just felt relief from seeing him again. "I have so much to tell you about! Shickendydickendy!" He said delightfully in his accent. I was ready to listen, I couldn't wait to hear everything he was about to tell me. "What's a shickendydickendy?" I giggled, thinking that maybe he had butchered up an English word. "Oh I'll tell you about that later " He replied. Oh! "This can't be happening! I've missed you so much, it's incredible to be seeing you here again!" I said. At that moment, just to be sure, I did a reality check. 8 fingers. Fuck no. I realized that this wasn't real - he wasn't real - none of this was. I wasn't seeing him or talking to him again. It was just an illusion created by my subconscious. I burst out in tears, devastated to go through this again. Losing a friend all over again, thanks subconscious, thanks a lot. I spent the rest of the dream crying.
Non-Dream Non-Lucid Lucid False Awakening I find myself in my ASB (student body) classroom. with the old student body class and counselors. I thought I didn't run for student body, this year, but I simply dismissed it as insignificant (whoops). As usual, at the beginning of the week, we were assigned reports to carry out to our classroom. My friend Z and I exited the room and found ourselves in an unfamiliar school with white and green walls. This same school was the school I went to to help my neighbor set up her classroom. I realized my friend Z wasn't in ASB as we gave the report, but again I dismissed it as not a big deal (another whoops). We finished and left the classroom, and I found myself as K of the Penguins of Madagascar (WTF?). We were trying to break open a brick wall off a school to get inside, as the school was in lock-down(?) or something. After several attempts of trying to total the wall, R simply ran the Hummer we were in through the wall, and I found myself closing my eyes, and opening them to appear my bedroom. This was a false awakening, I thought, because something was just off, and I became lucid. A long haired man walked into my room, and he appeared hideously warped. He had no visible face, his arms were dropped, his clothes were tattered, and his legs were limp. As I said, "R. P., is that you?", (I have no idea whose name I called out, I just remember the name) and he walked faster than the speed of light, and slurped near my left ear. My last thought was 'WTF!' as I woke up. Notes: Vividness: 7/10 (Pretty vivid.) Lucidity Peak: 4/10 (Wasn't lucid for long, and had no control)
