    1. WILD and back again!

      by , 01-13-2018 at 03:46 PM
After a long period without lucid dreams lasted about a year, I finally decided that with the new year I'd be starting over with LD practice and experimentation. Just had the time to recover my old account here on dreamviews, that that same night had the first lucid dream.

Got to bed hoping to magically remember to do an RC in one of my dreams, that as I noticed my drowsiness increasing accompanied with the first hypnagogic images I seized the opportunity for a WILD.
A wonderful spring sunny day appeared around me, the sun laying its warmth on the roofs of a small village in the heart of a valley. As my body started to appear, and as soon as I had some control over it, immediately rubbed my hands together and was catapulted on one of the roofs. I started to jump from one house to the other, and felt I needed to get used to it again after a long time; started to fly but things got trembling and I immediately woke up.

    2. Known Key Symbolism 2018: RAS Mediation (1)

      by , 01-13-2018 at 11:28 AM
Morning of January 9, 2018. Tuesday.

So far, in my prefatory series, I have provided “Known Key Symbolism 2018: Common Liminal Space Settings (1)” and “Known Key Symbolism 2018: Dream State Indicators”.

I hope I have made it clear so far, of what I understand (and have often validated) from over fifty years of dream study. Due to the fact that many people only remember a few of their dreams (or none at all), they like to infuse “meaning” (that is, meaning not related to either the biological or the spiritual nature of unconsciousness or the dream state and waking transition itself, as well as no acknowledgement of literal dream threads including prescience) into what few dreams are recalled. Many people do not actually understand what lucidity is (or how it works) and consequently use the term loosely and incorrectly. They also (almost relentlessly) fail to see how someone like me typically recalls five to nine non-lucid dreams a day (minimum of three), not including the virtually limitless hypnagogic sequences (of which are wholly lucid) at the beginning of every normal sleeping period. As a cop-out, some people will say, “oh, but a few dreams have meaning and importance, but most others do not”, which is kind of like saying, “oh, sometimes the stomach’s digestion of food is important, other times, when the stomach digests food, nothing is happening and the stomach is not even there”. Many people fail to understand that dreams can be fully controlled (either with lucid or non-lucid dream self perception) and even purposely formed from one idea (including for healing purposes and unfathomable levels of bliss and joy), and the more one studies and understands what dreams mean, the more natural clarity of mind automatically develops, resulting in virtually no nightmares (unless biologically premonitory) or even disturbing dreams. Still, RAS (the Reticular Activating System) and I have had a love-hate relationship since early childhood, based on whether or not I wanted to sleep and dream longer or typically whether there was environmental noise or not, these factors completely irrelevant to “interpretation” or waking life.

People like to over-dramatize and systematically “answer questions” even where none exist in the way they are implying. They like to infuse another person’s dream with negative context even when there is none. They like to pretend there is conflict or major issues to “solve”. They like to pretend that the dynamically fictional dream self (personified subconscious) is the same as the current conscious self identity, even when there is no evidence of viable memory or even common sense on the part of the very limited temporary dream self.

Everyone else I have ever known of (writings of the public that is), in virtually everything I have ever read about dreams since childhood, confuses RAS mediation with the so-called subconscious. This is probably why the bizarre belief that “my subconscious is trying to tell me something” came about. The inability to discern RAS mediation from the generic subconscious is unusual, but to be expected in the public’s limited understanding.

It goes without saying that the dream self in non-lucid dreams can only be the personified subconscious (or the “subconscious itself”). Being that the subconscious band has no concept of time or space (or any viable intelligence or consistent memory) unless conscious self identity threads (certain active neural patterns) are extant, how can the subconscious “solve an issue”? (Many people tend to confuse “subconscious” with “unconscious”.) Since this is the case, where does the dominant preconscious come from? (Confusion also results from many systems using “preconscious” and “subconscious” as synonyms when they are very different bands, at least in my extensive work.) RAS comes in to mediate sleep-wake transitions, and such symbolism inherently reflects the nature of waking from the dream state. This is biological fact, not some sort of half-baked theory or popular superstition. More so, understanding RAS is what eventually creates the potential for consciously controlling the dream state (though not one hundred percent as waking is a biological necessity - though there are people who have an eerie degree of control over their heart rate), something many people cannot seem to grasp at all, because many people see dreams as some sort of inexplicable mental event that they need to “interpret”, yet with zero interest in actually understanding anything.

For review, to integrate what I have written in this prefatory set thus far:

Again, I have confidently stated, with certainty developed for over fifty years, that liminal space symbols are directly related to the waking transition and have no need for “interpretation” due to their inherent nature of representing and symbolizing, in real time, the space between dreaming and waking. (Again, I will also remind people that this association is literal when linked to real life perception. That is, a porch, a parking lot, and a store’s checkout are also liminal spaces in real life. I only chose those three for now, as they are the most common liminal space symbols in my own dreams, sometimes occurring several times a week and for over fifty years.)

Again, I emphasize that dream state indicators are based on residual subliminal memory of having fallen asleep and consequently usually have no need for “interpretation”. Dream state indicators naturally occur in my dreams more often than not, though I typically do not go into detail about them in singular dream posts.

Again, I emphasize that, on a basic level, liminal space symbols and dream state indicators are unrelated within the dream state and are two completely different processes (just as in waking life, as an example, thoughts about finishing an essay and recent memories about your girlfriend are inherently unrelated, a result of two completely different mental processes occurring at the same time), yet can be a part of the same dream sequence. They may also be integrated within dreams with additional meaning (of which is closer to waking life patterns or personal meaning), even prescient threads, yet in a way that may not be cohesive, which is why many people might be inclined to completely ignore such events or features or mistakenly “interpret” everything as a whole.

At this point, I will address the failure of people to understand that conflict in the dream state may be based solely on RAS mediation and have no viable connection to waking life conflict or internal conflict assuming any even exists in the first place. It is ironic how people refuse to understand RAS mediation (misunderstanding it as the subconscious this or subconscious that) and try to infuse negative context where there is more opportunity for positive affirmation and assertiveness or true understanding of one’s own mind (the most important factor that could exist in life).

RAS mediation in its raw mode likes to generate snakes as the waking alert, probably because this is a key factor of primate fear (and I am willing to bet that snakes are a common factor in the dreams of all primates). Ten different people have ten different dreams about snakes around the same time, and all one needs to do is sit back and watch the nonsense concerning “interpretation” or “meaning” and have no choice but to roll their eyes.

The thread of RAS mediation is likely to be that which chases (or intrudes upon) the dreamer, whether or not someone is trying to “escape” from something in reality or has any issues of conflict when awake. “Wake up and get out of bed before you wet yourself” may be the sole “interpretation” of RAS intrusion into the dream (or it may be an unknown or unexpected environmental noise that threads of the emergent consciousness become vaguely concerned about - for example, arguments between people we do not know, but who had been walking down the street early in the morning near our house, have intruded into my dreams and changed the symbolism, which of course has nothing to do with my conscious self identity or even unconscious essence). Whether or not I have conflict in waking life is unrelated to how RAS mediates my dream other than incidentally. I could use my dream to punch someone I do not like, and at least provide some “relief”, but does that really address any hope for an “answer”? I think not. Some people, for example bullies, religious zealots, or people who believe the world is flat, simply cannot be “solved”. The longer someone keeps a dream journal (though one must actually pay attention), the more obvious it becomes. There is a very clear difference between the nature of different dream state components, which I have vividly noticed since early childhood, all of that and inexplicable prescience as well.

    3. Dream - Dream Guide Approved & A Tireless Walk

      by , 01-13-2018 at 05:52 AM
Date of Dream: SAT 13 JAN - 2018

Dream No. 261 - Separated Sections

Dream 261 A - Dream Guide Approved (Lucid Dream 13)
I don't remember what happened at the start of the dream. From where I do remember, I was trying to see if I could get Murray into this dream. My original methods didn't work and so I actually devised another solution and that was to become lucid. I checked my fingers but didn't see exactly six... It was more like a warped hand, sometimes five, sometimes six. I did heaps and heaps of finger checks and this really, utterly confirmed that I was lucid.

My surroundings were then realised and I found myself to be in a wide open alley at night time, lit up by white street lights. The path and the wall at the end was grey brick and on the wall was an old, worn out poster with a picture of Murray from Sly 4 on it. Even though it was raining, I slowly looked up at the poster and I quietly say to myself “Murray...?”.

The dream scene changed on me and I found myself in a really dark room of my own house, in the middle of the night but it wasn't a room I could recognise the features of from real life. It's like the dream had put an extra bedroom in the house. To a miraculous surprise, Dreamy WB was waiting for me in there in true human form, even though she was floating like a ghost. She had a really glamorous appearance, her hair straight compared to usual but in long wavy curls as well as a different looking black dress on her. She was signalling for me to wait in the current scene while she went to do something.

The dream showed her fly down through the ceiling in a transparent form into my bedroom in which Murray was seen physically sleeping in my bed. She sat beside the sleeping Murray, poking and prodding him while studying his response in the form of various facial expressions. After Dreamy WB had thought she'd stirred him up and tested him enough, she ascended through the ceiling, returning to where I was. Once again, she came in a floating position while communicating with me. She gave me a thumbs up and because I was lucid, I clearly knew she meant that Murray was all good and safe for me.

The dream scene had then changed, the dream camera playing from the ceiling perspective right above. It was still the middle of the night in my bedroom, only now, both Murray and I were in my bed. We were both fast asleep with him snoring loudly; my head tucked underneath his chin while he secured me in a tight hug. The dream ended there.

      Dream 261 B - A Tireless Walk
I don't remember much of this dream. From what I can remember, I was somewhere far away from home with my parents. We decided to take a walk somewhere because there was no car for us to drive. Eventually, a half an hour walk turned into something like a two hour walk. No matter how far we went, I never got tired. We ended up entering a KFC store along the way and I walked out with a drumstick and a thigh in my hands. The walk still lasted for ages until we got to some unknown beach. That's all I can remember about this dream.

      Dream Trophies Achieved:
      - None

For ages, I was struggling, not being able to summon Dreamy WB in a dream. In real life, I was in the middle of initiating a quest to revive her. Behold, last night she returned on her own!

    4. Log 988 - January 2018 TOTM Advanced Task II

      by , 01-13-2018 at 03:27 AM (Dream Logs DWN-12)
      Created Friday 12 January 2018

It was a rough night. Even so, I'm glad I got a WILD/DEILD cycle out of this, no matter the fatigue and visual impairment I often experienced for most of it.

      Scrap Group 1
Something of my cousin Sam visiting.

Dream 1 - January 2018 Advanced Task II

Scene 1 - Brief and Fluid Entrances
Various WILD/DEILD transitions in bed. It didn't take as long as it usually would for me to move around fluidly, though only for short bursts. I later floated around on my back, then rubbed my hands for a moment, only to move my physical self. I then awakened briefly, yet still lost consciousness. Transition.

Scene 2 - Guilty Gear Isuka Xrd
The visuals were dim and blurred. No lucidity. I was playing a Guilty Gear game with Pier. This one was a four-player fighting game like Isuka, only with the cel-shaded graphics of Xrd. We used a Slayer and Potemkin team against the AI, but it seemed our characters' inputs were randomly swapped with each other mid-match, and sometimes, the characters themselves outright transformed into the other. DEILD transition.

Scene 3 - Tender, Sudden Embrace
The visuals were very dim. I was in the void. After rubbing my hands, I took a casual stroll into the tepid darkness. Once acclimated, I began visualising my guide, E, laying supine on my arms. I soon felt her weight, then her warm, smooth skin. And finally, my guide's form manifested completely in my arms, fast asleep.

"Hey", I whispered, "you think you could help me out?"

E stirred awake, and seemed very excited to see me. Perhaps too excited, as her sudden embrace caused me to fall over backwards, toppling me deeper into the nothingness. As we descended, she gave me a tender kiss on the cheek.

I hit ground soon enough. Unfortunately, the impact, and my guide's form bearing down on me, was too much to handle. I awakened briefly. DEILD transition.

Scene 4 - Not the Kind of Anchor I Expected...
The visuals were quite blurred. I was in bed. After concentrating a bit, I fly/phase through door. There was some resistance, but I managed. I noticed someone scrounging about in the lounge, probably Ivan. This made me wonder if he was actually there at the moment IRL, and what may occur if we interacted. But, I thought to leave that for another time.

As I continued flying around, the environment warped into an irregularly angled and steep hallway built of wood. Like before, I tried forming E again, this time with the intent of anchoring the dream through her. I got as far as feeling her weight, only to drop mid-flight through the floor. Brief awakening and DEILD transition.

Scene 5 - The Sphere Makes a Triangle
The visuals were very dim. I was in the void again. I could sense the dream cycle ending. Thinking quick, I decided on the energy ball TOTM. This was a painful process of focusing heat between my unseen hands. Blue sparks formed, which orbited around an unseen point. Such energy howled as I condensed it further, and soon illuminated the void and my form. Suddenly, the ball had somehow changed into a green triangle, spinning hypnotically. I'd lost myself momentarily.

I then tried making the triangle again, and succeeded. This time, I hurled the energy onto an invisible floor. Then, on the resulting rune, I tried conjuring my guide. Not sure why, but I sensed there was a great significance to this. Unfortunately, nothing seemed to happen.

As I feared, I did indeed wake up promptly.

      Scrap Group 2
Dreamlets. Several were of luxury vehicles going down the road. Don't remember much of the rest, save for hearing this song repeat in the background... for fifteen minutes.

Watching a supposed trailer for the Matrix. This had Cypher talking with Neo in an alleyway. "What would ya do if you were The One?", he asked. "You really think you're The One?" I hijack Neo's role, and respond "Yes. I do." Cypher's taken aback.

    5. Getting Married, 2 LDs

by , 01-12-2018 at 10:33 PM (Hopeless Wanderings)
Nice to have a couple LDs since I've been having trouble with this lately, even if they were short.

I was suddenly getting married to my boyfriend. The whole thing was set up in no time, on the upper floor of some building in a city. I was in my wedding dress facing my boyfriend, red roses in my hand. I was thinking, "I didn't even get to walk down the isle, or plan anything for this wedding. It's just happening. And what's up with the red roses bouquet?" So, in no time, we are "married." He goes in to hug me and I'm thinking, what are you doing, we're supposed to kiss. So I kiss him, and everyone claps, but its a pathetic kiss, so I kiss him two more times followed by more clapping. I realize he didn't even give me a ring, so I make a mental note to search for the cheap ring he gave me earlier in the year somewhere in my bedroom(in RL he actually found it on the ground somewhere lol). So, we're married. I'm standing next to the big windows that look out onto the city next to my sister and the dream starts fading. That's when I realize, this is a dream. I decide to ditch the whole scene and fly out through the windows and over the city. I see two buildings where there are people standing on top of them. I am searching for someone or something to do. I land on one of the buildings with the people, I can feel the dream being unstable. The people are acting like they're at the beach, playing in the sand, and there are kids, but they are on top of a 70 story + building. I don't find what I'm looking for and wake up.

I think this was another DEILD. I am in my old house, I go outside. It's night time. I thought flying was fun in the first LD so decide to do it again and get somewhat hig
h but then wake up again.

    7. Slight Movie Influence: “Let Me In”

      by , 01-12-2018 at 07:12 AM
Morning of January 12, 2018. Friday.

Zsuzsanna and I watched “Let Me In” (from 2010) last night and I considered that it would be an intriguing idea to structure as a dream state fantasy. Still, I did not put any actual effort into the idea, though it still influenced a small part of my dream.

At any rate, my dream has an unfamiliar setting. It reminds me of the King Street mansion in some ways, though the tower feature is duplicated to the opposite side of the house. My father is walking on a narrow wooden plank that is apparently supported by the windowsill of each tower from both sides. My mother is also present, but remains standing on the ground near the residence, at the front of the house.

A couple different times, I am somewhat wary about my father walking back and forth on this thin plank so high up. It seems precarious and although he seems confident and balanced, I have a vague anticipation that he might fall, though he never does.

There is only one scene that reflects a part of the movie, and that does not directly trigger any recall related to my current conscious self identity. As I walk into a different area in a house near the first house (where my parents and I are apparently implied to be living), which is somewhat like a large open featureless porch (though more like a park shelter integrated into a house), a young female is present who says, “Just so you know, I can’t be your friend”, just as in the first part of the movie. This frustrates me somewhat, though I do not recall what the actual influence is related to. (I get the impression that the girl is a young version of Zsuzsanna, though this is only later, as my memory is not extant.) Later, the girl’s mother talks to me about what she (the girl) wants, though she seems to be the actress who played the boy’s mother in the movie (though this does not trigger any recall either).

My dream mainly becomes a generic and typical waking transition. There are two ladders against the porch, one on each side at the front. I feel the need to adjust them, though when I move the ladder on the right (waking orientation symbol) only a little, after climbing up and down on them, the entire house shakes and vibrates. This causes me to stop out of concern of causing my father to fall from the plank. My dream fades after this, with no vestibular system activity (that is, no typical waking jolt based on perceived flight, rising, or any falling sensation or typical spontaneous muscle movement).

    8. Random DILD; Badass subC

      by

      , 01-12-2018 at 05:13 AM (Turquoise Dreams)
Few days ago. So happy to remember an awesome dream again. 3 in one night, in fact.

      1. My subC is such a cool BADASS

I'm in a car. There is some presence. It flies out and is flying at me towards the back window. I remember my thoughts from daytime, that you have to stand up for yourself. Don't let anybody bully you or scare you, or enslave you in any way.

(I had to watch Insidious and there was a scene where a demon had some souls enslaved, and another soul fought and beat his ass. And I remember thinking that that's how you have to approach situations in dreams.)

So as it was flying at me, about to scream at me to scare me, I punched it square in the chest, expecting to be hit back far harder. But no. No retaliation. So I hit it again and kept punching until I was satisfied that the danger is over.

      2. Cigar and a DILD
Very low lucidity. Suddenly I just have more awareness and I'm "thinking". There is a cigar in front of me on the table. Not even a whole one. I think "why not". I don't smoke and never had, but I figured what a better place to try, haha. So I light it up and take a puff. We keep passing it between me and my friend, noticing how the smoke tastes and such. I'm not hating it, but I don't like it either.

When we are done, I decide to go for a flight. I take off and hover over the area, flying like a hummingbird. Horizontal when flying, vertical when hovering. I am SO HAPPY to be flying again. The feeling is unmistakable and out of this world elating. I feel good from this for next 2 days.

      3. VR reality
Somebody has VR goggles. I ask if I can try them, then I keep borrowing them when not in use. I put it on and I'm on a dusty walking path somewhere high in Andes. Peru comes to mind. I don't think it's in the past, but I know it had been used by Incas.

When I look through the goggles, I can see the scenery, but also the edges of the goggles. Like when you put on a snorkeling mask. But after few seconds, I kinda lean forward, the goggles disappear and I'm fully immersed in the scenery. I walk up to the edge of the precipice by the wooden handrail and expect to be able to see it only from the distance, since I know I'm not really there. But the scenery comes closer to me and any divide between me and the scene disappears. Just like when I'm WILDing and at first I'm just looking inside the dream from the outside (level of my eyes), then I get transported inside, sucked in, and I'm in the middle of it, in 3D environment. It was awesome to realize all this.

We come up on some orphanage, right there on the path. I tell them to hang on, and I return to my "base" and I rummage through the food supplies, gathering up everything I can find to take it back to the kids. It takes a long time, and other things happen. Long and detailed.

I woke up very happy from all these dreams. This is what I call interesting dreams. THANK YOU, SUBC <3
    9. Log 987 - When Women Attack and Other Assorted Stories

      by , 01-12-2018 at 04:22 AM (Dream Logs DWN-12)
      Created Thursday 11 January 2018

Got a WILD to note, along with another full dream and a dreamlet. There was definitely a lot more I could've remember from the non-ld, had I gotten up to record it after it occurred.

      Scrap Group 1
Vague memories of driving around at night with familiar figures.

Dream 1 - Skiing into Big Trouble

Scene 1 - Reconnected Skiing Siblings
The visuals were mostly clear. This occurred at the slopes of a snowy mountainside during a pale overcast day. I was a spectator. A man and woman in skiing equipment were taking a lift to the tallest hill. Once there, they deliberately fell and took off. I was then given "access" to the woman's thoughts. Apparently, she was an Englishwoman serving in the US armed services. Furthermore, the man was her brother. Before the current trip, the two had grown distant to each other. But, they reconnected via their love of skiing. Still, she felt her sibling took the sport a bit too seriosly for her tastes.

      Transition.

      Scene 2 - Buy-Time Magic Seeds
Similar visuals as above. I myself was now skiing down into the streets of a small town, cloudy day sky above. Quite a predicament, as there wasn't any snow in sight. When things got too rough, I levitated myself twenty feet into the air, if reluctantly, as I did not want to attract attention.

I arrived near a small plant's loading area. Suddenly, I was assaulted by a random giantess, a woman about 50 years of age and dressed in casual wear. She promptly captured me, and gave notice of her intent to devour me. But before that, she granted me a last request. False memories revealed of my carrying something unusual in my pack (which I just realized I was lugging around): the seeds of a magical plant, of which would grow instantly over night. What's more, these seeds were in the exclusive domain of an elite troupe of wilderness rangers/scouts. Anyway, I asked that I be allowed to sprout and eat the plant. The giant woman agreed, if only because she preferred "stuffed meat".

In but a few paces, the ogress whisked me away to the backyard of her home. She kept her own garden there, which even included a gigantic beanstalk, a supposed variant of the above-mentioned plant. The giantess allowed me to dig the seeds myself as she gathered herbs for her wicked feast. At the very least, I brought myself some time.

      Transition.

      Scene 3 - Proper(ty) Placement
Similar visuals. I was now inside the lounge of a gigantic home, a place with expensive furnishings. Behind me was a model house of my size. Soon, a giantess with straight, black, shoulder length hair steps in view, about the same age as the previous one. In contrast, she was dressed formally. This colossal woman was dusting the area. Upon noticing me, she directed I get back to the smaller home. "I like keeping things where they belong", remarked the giantess as she continued dusting.

Don't recall anything else until the dream ended.

      Scrap Group 1
Dreamlets. Some had me driving around.

Dream 2 - When Women Attack

      Scene 1 - Back-Dash Warp
Dreamlet transitioned to dream. The visuals were very blurred. I was wandering around the house. It wasn't until I arrived in the kitchen that I realized (or rather, believed) the dream state. My brother, Andre, showed up, though I ignored him. I leaped backwards, purposefully phasing through the wall, where I got warped into the void. Transition.

      Scene 2 - Mannequin Assault
The visuals were blurred. I was at the entrance of a department store, outside in a wide, empty walkway, all during daytime. I flew around for a bit, only to get dragged and phased below the concrete.

When I crawled back up, I spotted a woman exiting the facility. On closer inspection, this was actually more of a living mannequin, a pale, faceless, almost featureless feminine figure dressed in trendy clothes and accessories. It turned towards me, and immediately became hostile. I backed off, and briefly ducked beneath the earth to avoid it. That's when even more dolls suddenly amassed, too many to simply evade. I held ground, feinting between strikes and tripping up some of the easier targets.

Just then, I was shrunken against my will, and was promptly stomped at by a sandalled foot. A glance up revealed the belligerent as a stout woman, further distinct among the others by her simple floral dress and, above all, anime-ish features. Reactively, I charged to and fro, bouncing off any ankles in my path. This knocked many of the women off their feet, including the larger lady, who's girth would've flattened me had I not dodged in time. Even while on her back, the anime woman furiously pursued me, stomping and swatting down anywhere I tried escaping.

Things get unstable. From there, various hazy clips of Street Fighter V appeared, including matches between Ken and different female opponents. Transition.

Scene 3 - Why Does Everyone Want to Eat Me?
The visuals were dim and blurred. I was floating in the void. Finally, I was of mind to try and conjure my guide, E. I started visualising her form, when something suddenly grabbed my face. This was the work of the spectral, incomplete image of my guide, her discorporated hands sharply clenching my chin and forehead. Her hair covered her face momentarily. When unveiled, her eyes became pitch black. Welp, nightmare time.

I questioned what she was doing, and whether she was my guide at all. Through shrieking, the ghost did confirm the latter (and indeed, I could already sense as much), though she remained vague on the rest. Nonetheless, her intentions became clear when a long, rope-like tongue slid from her mouth, and wrapped around me. Once I was bound, E's mouth distended and widened into a horrible maw. I was then pulled bit by bit into the damp abyss. Knew there was no point in fighting...

Luckily, I awakened before things got too bad.

    10. August 3, 2015 | Japan, Gameboy logo, Store, Furball Creature

by , 01-12-2018 at 03:48 AM (Fantastical Adventures)
A scene in in my home town with very frequent, close lightning.
      [New Scene]
Suddenly, I was in Japan, except the buildings were covered in only English words. Mom was driving, and we passed a building with the Gameboy logo on it. (There was not only a small building that was contiguous to adjacent buildings, but also a tall, rectangular tower with the Gameboy logo near the top.) Next, I found a sign that listed stores from top to bottom based on popularity. Walmart was at the top. It was nighttime when we parked in the lot. I requested something while trying to think of it, and it failed. Mom acted like she heard one, so she left into the store. We parked in an apparent southeast direction, while the front of Walmart faced west. There was short |skip| between seeing the sign and parking. Time change was included. Also, there weren’t very many other cars in the parking lot.
      [New Scene]
Still in Japan, I was in a house with a magic ability that allows anyone who is inside to find anything they wanted. The house, viewed from outside, had the look of a business with a large waiting room for a 1st floor. From inside, it looked like a normal one-story house with 2 living rooms, a kitchen, and the usual hallway, [separated by a 6-inch wall] but anything in the hall was unknown. The outside walls I saw were the west and south walls. The interior lights had a warm glow. There was a much taller building adjacent and to the right of the house. There was this tribble-shaped, weird creature (with blue fur and a large, round nose) that was seeking an escape from a spider-like creature 15x his size. He got his wish granted and ran outside. However, the “spider” was still in the magic house. He wanted to find the furball to eat it, so he did. I stood nearby and watched. I thought that was interesting. Outside were some trees and some clearing. The trees were sparse at first, with most of them to the right of me. It was also night. Wanting to became a wolf again, I started acting like one, and ran on all fours toward whatever was in the woods. As time went on, I felt more and more wolf-like, but I still felt too human. Something wasn't right here.

Things have been a bit strained of late so I was glad to get a nice dream ^^.

Had been dreaming some kind of car chase. Next I remember I was looking out of my window down onto the 2nd floor, where I noticed a neighbour had parked his car. I was kind of annoyed when I saw him parking another one on the long flat roof there. So I went down and started to push his car off the roof Oo. he turned up so I just started up a conversation to cover up what I had been doing. We chatted and he invited me over. Inside there were a few people sitting around, one was Michele. We sat together and hugged. It was such a lovely warm feeling and she was very cuddly I could have stayed there forever

    12. Gate Fixing

      by , 01-11-2018 at 02:02 PM
Evening of January 11, 2018. Thursday.

This is from a shorter nap this evening, which is typically more vivid and with a direct awareness of what my dream is doing symbolically (especially in lucidity).

I am lucid, though not with the conscious control factor, as I allow myself to comfortably drift in liminal space. I am in the higher liminal space, just on the threshold of vaguely perceiving my real environment, thus the symbolism is inherent to this state, which uses a common liminal space divider as the neural pattern representation, which is a wooden fence. I focus on the gate and notice the top hinge is missing (which symbolizes the event horizon of dream state cessation). I feel like sleeping a few minutes longer to sustain my dream and its vividness, so I find myself with a hammer and start nailing a small stick into the area where a hinge would otherwise go. However, this also implies that the gate might not feasibly open, at least normally. Still, my dream self vividly announces, “It might be all right.“

Even so, my realization of the symbolism’s meaning causes a simultaneous shift, though without spontaneous muscle response (as is otherwise sometimes the case). I now become aware, in an offset dream, of a section of gate in undefined space. It is floating vertically, not attached to anything. I catch myself saying, “Steve…are you aware of what’s going on?” and wake. (This is me attempting to communicate with RAS - Reticular Activating System, of which I am directly aware I am doing in this case, which is usually passive unless I have been sleeping longer in a normal sleeping period. Calling it Steve is just a randomly retrieved thread, as I had not thought of him recently.)

Despite symbolism in dreams being directly related to the state of sleep induction, unconsciousness, and the waking transition (which most people in the world bizarrely fail to understand at all, including so-called experts and professionals), it does sometimes incidentally borrow from recent experiences at times (even including the most emotional situation seen on television when it otherwise has no relation or connection to waking life). Yesterday, I went to borrow a wheelie bin from the house next door, which is presently vacant, and found that the gate to the back yard was not feasibly set up. It did not seem to have proper hinges and just sat there in a vertical position, held by the bolt lock. (However, my dream’s gate was only about one-third the size and wooden, not metal like the real one.)

The name I mention is a classmate’s, who I have not seen since 1976. (I have not even seen him on Facebook.) I do not actually see him in my dream but I do have an awareness of his memory as he was at around fourteen. Still, the main memory of him relates to childhood, where he wanted to quickly borrow a set of Whitman cards I had, which had an animation (on the back of them) when all the cards were flipped, which displayed a rabbit hopping into a hat, the hat moving about, and a dove flying out. He said that if I let him use the cards for a time, he would “like me forever” (and be my friend forever). Not believing a word of what he said, I still cheerfully let him have my cards. He immediately raced to the other side of the playground to show them to a girl. The girl seemed completely unimpressed and even annoyed, and just walked away. I found the scenario very amusing, but I never reminded him of it in all the time we were in school.

    14. Heavy Arms likes me

by , 01-11-2018 at 02:33 AM (My Robotic imagination)
I start off in this dream with some decepticons. I'm with Megatron and Starscream and we are running on a platform and at the end there is a huge drop off to the land below. I stop from being afraid to jump and Megatron who was behind me looks at me and says something to me then jumps off along with starscream. I look down and seen that they landed safely and was looking up, waiting for me. I jumped and as scared as I was I landed safely with them and we are walking with a crowd of people. Some kind of event was going on and I was standing among the crowd and next to me was Heavy arms! He looked like the model kit I had at home. It was daytime and the sky was a bright blue color and I walked to where ever, with the heavy arms looking at me.

The dream shifted and I'm now in a room that looks like it was a dimly lit classroom/living room. I walked in to receive some kind of an award. It was a tan colored diploma looking thing with cursive writing on it. I took it and sat down. Heavy arms was there and I didn't know it and right before I sat down he reached out his hand under me, causing me to sit on it and he gripped me ass and squeezed it. I looked to see with my own eyes and it was the Heavy arms, up close and personal.

    15. Ninjor in a fight trying to find Auric

by , 01-11-2018 at 02:18 AM (My Robotic imagination)
I start off Lucid but forgot some of the details but It is night time and I'm walking around outside. There are houses on each side of the street and I walked around a corner and Fount Ninjor but he was currently engaged in a fight with two people on each side of him. He finishes them off and spots me and comes up to me. I asked him about the previous dream where he talked to me about dinner but he seemed confused and a ride comes for him. It was his reinforcements and Ninjor could not stay here with me without the baddies spotting him or me.So he gets into a grey Jeep looking truck. I can see the details of his arms and the back of his head as he drove off with his Sentai friends. Disappointed I made sure to take my focus off of him and thought about my next small characer dream focus. Auric. Though it was not a good idea to try to mess around with him too much I began looking for signs of him. I find a big house with sloped roofs and went into it. It was spacious, lit and had a staircase, going up to the next level. On top of a TV set that was on a glass stand was Auric but one thing wrong about this one, was that he was the toy of Auric. He was faced towards me at an angle with it's cloak opened up "damn it!" I started to walk away but then the owner of the home came from upstairs and spotted me in his home. He was a black man and when he saw me his eyes widen in surprise and anger. He snapped at me and started yelling at me for being in his home. He ran upon me, threateningly and loomed over me now yelling in my face. I looked up at him, preparing to banish him into nothing and I explained to him that this is a dream and I am the host of this dream. If you force me to wake up after you are aware of this being MY dream. Then you'll get destroyed and forgotten. He stopped yelling at me but I can clearly see that he was still very upset. It would not be wise to attack a dream lord now would it? The DC backed down and angrily agreed to leave me be. After that I went back outside and no longer had a reason to be in this dream since it was not cooperating and woke my self up and got ready for the next dream.
