Non-dream Non-lucid Lucid Dream Fragment - an ex Seem to remember being in a tent or something, a girl I knew in high school that I hooked up with once was there. Her bf was around and I remember thinking that I would have to reject her or something? Dream 1 - Landslide I'm at my parents house (I think this scene is coming up more because I'll be heading home in a month), and I get the feeling the house is unstable. I was looking at the house and the wooden support beams seemed so weak, I thought of how we would need to add more support to counter the chances of it sliding downhill. Then something crazy happens, it's like the dream doesn't even know what it wants to do. The house apparently undergoes a landslide, but it's more like the lawn has been ripped up in a strip parallel to the house. The apple trees are on this strip of lawn too. Me and my dad immediately jump into action, we absolutely have to push this strip of land back uphill. He's on the far left and I'm on the far right. We lift it up and push as hard as we can, this thing realistically must weigh more than a couple elephants. So strong O_O. It's weird because when I look over to my dads side we've reached the top of the slope around the middle of the lawn, but the apple tree is still where it originally was on the lawn. We have to push the apple tree on the lawn strip over the apple tree on the lawn itself... We have two apple trees in RL but this still doesn't make sense. My dad shouts to roll the lawn over the top of the tree. It's an epic struggle but we succeed. My mum is apparently stressed out and having a glass of wine inside the house to calm down . We have such rotten luck apparently (in RL my parents got charge some several thousand for some screw up with a company that wasn't their fault) and my dad says that we must be cursed. When he says this I think of Japanese customs and how in our western culture we don't pay respect to house gods. The dream scene changes, now there is a little house god (I seem to be thinking of it as a little childs ghost) next to me who I interact with, I seem to be inside too. The place doesn't look like my parents house and has a nice wooden floor. There is another child ghost that intrudes into the house gods territory which it isn't supposed to do. This ghost has black hair. Dream 2 - Horrible Scream Argh... This dream I woke up from with this horrible scream echoing in my head. I was at the mall in Auckland and my daughter and dad were with me. I was looking after my daughter for the day but anytime that she got upset she would let out the most annoying cry, it was more like the most frustrating alarm clock sound. It was a shrill pulse-cry that wasn't even slightly like how a child should cry. Anyways... We were around the entrance to the mall after having been driven there by my dad. My daughter was upset because she wanted to be with her mum. I remember feeling the sudden gaze of the people around being drawn to the public display of my crying child, I've mostly grown to ignore this kind of judgement in RL. I comfort my daughter and let her know she's okay, she still cries a little bit though. I see a baby walking past behind her, it stops, looks in our direction and its face starts contorting into a crying face. My god, what the hell? I absolutely can't let my daughter see this as I think it will make things worse. My mum (my daughters grandmother) shows up and my daughter calls her "Kora" which is supposed to be her mums name with a weird accent. I don't click to the fact that she called her by the wrong name. My mum seems to be able to calm her down a bit. This dream was somehow nice but stressful ^_^
Non-dream Non-lucid Lucid I tried a new dream journal app on my phone and it turns out that it's a bastard because it only stores one dream entry per day. So I lost my other dreams and can't recall them either. I tried to SSILD last night but it was pretty ineffective as I just couldn't focus through the cycles, was still way too fatigued. Dream - Girlfriend and daughter I seem to be in my flat (this is pretty rare, I don't usually have dreams about my flat) and in my bed, just lying down with my laptop out messaging my girlfriend on skype. We send pictures and are just chilling out. She tells me that I should probably break up with her because another guy groped her against her will. I'm pretty shocked, but I tell her that I want to punch that guy and I wouldn't break up with her over that since she stopped him. The situation was that actually she had a sticker on her ass and she asked her friend to help get it off (it was a girl), and then the guy kind of swooped in on the situation. I told her not to let it happen again because it makes me worry when I'm so far away (we study at different universities). I also realize that as I typed it out to her, I actually sent it through text instead of skype. I had been a little disoriented by the whole 'break up with me' message I guess . I return to the skype conversation and see she has replied to my message, I tell her that I goofed up and sent the message before through text (not that it mattered). We continue talking I think, but I also think I start looking at old photos and videos of her. There were random pictures of her in a bikini, another where she had a real hairy stomach (this one I tried to ignore lol ). There were even some where she was posing on the bed . A video also started playing, it was one where I think I was videoing Arya playing with her mum and grandparents. They all charged at Arya and made a sort of dog pile and Arya loved it, she was giggling lots. Then I flick to another video where we're on a beach, my girlfriend looked really pretty. It seemed to be a grey day, and the wind was blowing a bit hard. We were climbing along the wave-cut platform of rocks, the video seemed to follow her (non-existent-in-real-life) cousin, I think she was 10ish?
Non-dream Non-lucid Lucid Dream 1 - cute girl It's either me or this other girl in the dream who are weak. The girl is great at manipulating men, she sells her looks so well to get what she wants. I see an online panel and there's a dialogue playing about me or something? It almost feels like we're creating the comment section for this website and that we're reading the opinions of multiple people. I remember there being something mentioned about how the girl manipulates men, and she gets compared to Miley Cyrus. Miley is apparently really good at manipulating people too by saying cute things. The girl says things like "Hey, I'll see you later *winks with one eye and pokes her tongue out*" but Miley Cyrus is apparently even more pro at it... I feel like this dream makes no sense. Dream 2 - Wood lodge field trip I'm in a wood lodging hut with a group of other students, the place is quite large and can accommodate lots of people. It seems pretty rustic but really cool. I decide I want to go shower, I step outside and walk down a path to a large plastic circular watering tank. This tank was apparently the shower.. It has a door on the side, the scenery around the lodging appears to be forest and it's night time so it has a sort of sinister appeal. I open the door and head inside, taking my time to shower in the incredibly spacious area. The sinister forest makes me momentarily paranoid as I think "What if there's a serial killer around?!?!", I peer out of a window and spot someone walking up a pathway towards the hut. I know it's a student though and the thought of a serial killer disappears. I decide to stop fooling around and finish showering. I wrap my clothes around my waist and put my towel over my shoulder (it should be the other way around O_O). The person walking up is a cute girl and I want to look good or something -.-... Anyways, so I step outside of the shower all casual-like and walk towards the hut across the stony pebble pathway. I glance around at the girl and see her walk and turn right, into the shower I had just stepped out of. I pretend to have just noticed her, she smiles and waves. "Hi" she says in a sort of fluttery voice (she looks like this brown haired girl who kind gives off the impression that she's a bit stuck up). I politely say "Hey" back to her then turn away all 'casually' and cool. I walk inside the building and end up in a hall, but I'm still outside on the pebbles (this shouldn't make sense as it doesn't make sense ). I feel so lame after that encounter. Pushing it from my mind I realize I'm faced with a problem, how the hell did I get outside? There's so many doors along the corridor, I head right instead of left (which I believe is where the door I came from is). I'm still half-naked and I have a towel wrapped around my waist and and a towel on my shoulder now. Another girl I encounter tells me that the towel I'm using is probably the lodges, I realize that she was telling me that as a hint that I should go put it back - but she did it so as to force me to take off the towel in front of her and expose myself "I know" I say, and just continue walking past her. I come to the conclusion that there's an entrance ahead of me I can use to go inside that will loop around and allow me to get back to my room. I finally make it inside and am on the right track. I pass by a room of students, there's a girl I recognize who is in a relationship with a guy from my class. She seems to be cuddling up with a different guy though which seemed weird. I head back to my room and see the guy who she was meant to be in a relationship with. I jump onto my bed which is right next to his, I tell him that I think his girl is cheating and I don't really know what the circumstances are but that I hope things are okay with them. Dream 3 - Primary school playground I'm at my old primary school on the lower playgrounds with my daughter. I think we see some puppies come along and I show them to my daughter, she loves them! Then some cute lambs run up and we pet them too. A woman then comes along, following her is a plethora of various animals. They come out from the bushes she seemed to have emerged from, me and my daughter follow her closely with intrigued. I spot some lions a little further behind us among the other animals which gives me a bit of a shock. I tell her about it and she says "Yes there are lions, they are animals too", she is really composed and sort of mystical. I see another little girl quite a bit older than my daughter (maybe 7?). I jokingly ask her if she is an animal, she replies seriously "Yes, I am. And I'm tall". Me and my daughter think this is all a bit weird. Where are they going? They are walking out of the playground and into the bottom carpark of the school. To my left where there is the typical New Zealand green bush there is instead a more red fog covering the area. It slopes downhill steeply, and there are a few large trees that spike up through the red haze adding to the mystical scene which seems to be popping up. Okay stop, this is weird. I think to myself it has to be dream (becoming lucid at this point) and look at my hands, making sure to properly confirm it. I start a reality check by pulling my finger back which absolutely freaked me out because I felt like I tore something in my finger and that I should do it anymore. I also seem to be spinning around at this point. I then push a finger into the palm of my right hand and it is strangely elastic. "Hmm so it is a dream" I think to myself, I stop spinning around now as I bring my attention back to what's going on around me. Shit, it's all fading away... I wake up

At one point I was helping some friends who got their kayak stuck in a river, I jumped around acrobatically and reached it, then pushed it down towards them. There was a wooden deck with a roof next to this river which we sat down on, my daughter sat on my lap and began singing to me while we were all just hanging out. Another one is where I was with my close friends Sam and Daniel, I can't recall much but I think we were in a mall and were walking around into shops, I saw my mum there too while she was looking at jewelery.. A lot of familiar faces last night
Black: Non-dream Blue: Non-lucid Red: Lucid Dream 1 - Virtual world MMORPG I'm in a virtual reality MMORPG (think SAO or .Hack//) and another player takes me under his wing, guiding me and teaching me about the game (at first it doesn't feel like a game, and becomes more game-like as the dream progresses). We travel down a dirt road, the scenery is somewhat chaotic, like we're in hell or something... The sky seems red, the clouds are more like smoke, it seems like it was hot too. We come across our destination, a demon gate, my mentor leaps down and I follow without hesitating (it resembled a hole in the ground with a bright flaming portal a couple metres down). We get teleported to a new room, as we fall there is another portal beneath us and we air-jump to the side to avoid falling into it, it appears that this portal takes you to the next level of the game which I'm not strong enough for. Landing on the ground in this new room next to the portal, I notice the floor is made of sand, the room itself is square and a bit small, the walls don't really exist and there is darkness beyond (like the edge of a map in a video game). There is danger in this room though, tall sand people form from and spew sand at me, then collapse back down. If they spawn beneath you and you don't move, you die, and if they hit you then you die, so the whole time being in this room I'm just jumping and dodging. While doing this, the mentor tells me that he made a miscalculation and lost a great deal of his money by accident and that to make up for it we should try reach the next level, but it's about 9:35pm and my gf and daughter just got home so I want to spend time with them. At this point I'm circuiting the room in a sprint and the sand spews are piling up a dune of sand making it easier to get out or something, the mentor compliments me on this strategy. Dream 2 - A big shark made me lucid I'm standing at the edge of a deck, I seem to own a beach house that's right next to the water. I notice some beautiful starfish, sea urchins, seaweed, etc, and think to tell my daughter about them... Like posing a question to make her think about life or something lame like that . Suddenly I realize I have to be careful, then look to my right and spot a HUGE shark fin slicing the surface of the water. It must have been 1 metre high and a grey-white colour... I jump backwards and it comes close enough to touch the edge of the deck which should be impossible (since the water by the deck is only foot deep and is rocky as hell). Knowing that it was impossible I think to check if it's a dream, I get my hands in front of me and just look at them for a bit... My eyes start focusing and I see the imagery of my hands jitter a bit, I feel something in my mind changing as I become lucid, like a veil being lifted. I stand up and look for the shark, thinking to myself "whoa this is cool, I'll shoot a kamehameha at the shark!". I hold my hands in position (a bit different to the way it's actually done)... "Kaaaa... Meeee... Haaaa... Meeee... HA!" a subtle 'whoosh' 'brrrgh' 'splash' happens as an invisble orb shoots from my hand, flys through the air and smacks the water. Underwhelming, but it's progress. Moving on I decide to run around the corner of my house (internally I was thinking about doing a TOTM but couldn't be bothered in the end), there's water here and some waves (a bit inconsistent, like the waves were coming from the wrong direction) there was another shark that looked a bit handicapped. The water was still way too shallow for any of this, but there was also some people playing in the water. I feel like I'm not moving fast enough, the idea to fly crosses my mind, the last time I tried I had failed miserably, but this time was different . Leaping into the air I suddenly feel lighter, then WHOOSH! I shoot off into the sky and fly through the clouds. The feeling is euphoric and I quickly calm myself so as not to end the dream. I notice that the clouds are dark with a red hue, crackling red lightning from some spots. Not wanting to deal with this shiz, I wave my hands, signaling the dismissal of the clouds. They part and dissipate, and as I continue flying I see a floating cloud castle. It had brilliant hues to it, it seemed majestic and beautiful, a large cloud man floated out of a nearby window, he beckoned me towards him, it was none other than Zeus! I feel the weight of my body change, becoming heavier... Suddenly it's a bit harder to control my flying, and the next thing I know, I'm awake and I was having such a good dream >_< Note: Only used SSILD, no longer sick and had an awesome sleep the night before.

Black: Non-dream Blue: Non-lucid Red: Lucid Dream 1 So I think I was on bus and we stopped off at this care centre, I left my bag on the bus since we were supposed to get back on in 10 minutes. I went inside and something happened (forgot this detail) where I couldn't really continue on with everyone else to the next stop, it was related to me not being able to hear (My hearing aids have both just broken in real life). Instead, a lady asks if I want to help out and entertain some of the old people at the care centre, I accept (in a nonchalant manner) but I need to change my clothes first (my clothes got dirty somehow). I head back to the bus as it's preparing to leave, but my lack of hearing makes communicating difficult and I ask my friend Matt to help me out. He kind of just ignores me at first, then it's like he's being a jerk or trying to be funny and the whole thing is out of character. The starts to leave and drive down the road and I start to feel helpless. Dream 2 In my old high school there was a circular brick wall about 40cm high with a pohutuawa tree in the middle surrounded by a bark surface. I was sitting on the bricks and it seemed to be during lunch time, a friend was next to me too. I noticed two girls who were approaching, they were my close friends mikayla and kashifa. We hugged and said hello and then kissed each other on the forehead for some reason... Next thing I know, the bell has rung and we're all heading off to our next classes. My friend who was sitting next to me is crawling on the ground and now there's a feeling like we're in primary school, and some people around him are saying "Wow that's weird what's he doing". Possibly a dream but not sure 3 So I had kind of woken up, I'm currently sick with a head cold and I got really disorientated. I was drifting sleepily and kind of falling back asleep but waking up, and I must have dozed off for a few minutes... I thought that my gf and daughter were in the house and that I had forgotten where my daughter was, and I got really panicky since I don't think she was in the her cot. It was dark and I tried to get up to turn the light on, and then I woke up and opened my eyes -.- so false awakening?
Black: Non-dream Blue: Non-lucid Red: Lucid Dream 1 - I got kidnapped (happened 2 nights ago) I'm in a homely bar or something, and a person who is doubling as a friend of mine walks in and is pretending to be him but I know he isn't... (the face of the person looks like no one I know). I can't make him mad or something though, so I have to pretend he is my friend, I help him connect to the internet on a laptop in the bar as I believe his intentions are to steal some stuff if he doesn't get what he wants. He ends up kidnapping me instead, because he thinks I'll be more valuable and can help him get what he wants. We're now on an island similar to Master Yoshi's home island on Dragonball Z, the water is blue and there are tropical trees and a small white house. I have to pretend to be his friend still, I know that the only way I can get off the island is if my real friends save me, which can only happen at a certain time due to the ocean currents changing their flow temporarily for 1 day... This leaves a very small window of opportunity. I remember finding something that I can use to get in contact with my friends, I rush through typing something out to them and then throw it as far as I can into the ocean before the 'fake' sees what I've done. He shows up and says something like "Oh wow you've done a number on that one", and is holding the broken thing I threw. I'm hiding my anticipation for escaping the island, I know that I've been on the island for something like 180 days and that the ocean currents are about to change. For some reason I think there is a sunset and it meant that my friends missed the window of opportunity, but they only just manage to make it to me and the next thing I know there is a train track around the house that the fake is trying to escape on, we've become the trains from that thomas the tank engine kids show (this part only lasted like 20 seconds), the driver is the fake friend and is trying to escape but I pull him out and throw him on the ground, he smashes like a lego piece and can't move because his arms and legs have fallen off. Me and my friends turn to leave now, as we leave I turn around again to find the fake sailing away on the grass on a miniature sail raft thing (He has arms and legs now and looks like a super tiny pirate).. the scenery is different too, it's more like the outside of my parents house in the yard. My memory connects him to the bar at the start where he apparently had put up these posters to draw attention (it doesn't make sense at all). He sails away on the grass into the bush so I run and catch him, I throw him off and show him the poster, "This is what started it all aye, not so proud now huh" I toss him aside and the day is won. Me and my friends head back to the bar now, there is a big celebration and party, the bar is quite cosy with dark brown wooden walls and lots of people. The focus is on these 2 people playing darts, a guy and a girl. The guy is known to be really good and the girl is an unknown, she gets up and challenges him. She has long dark brown curly hair, brown eyes and tanned skin. She turns out to be really good at darts and wins and everyone is cheering her on... And that's the end of my random dream O_O. Dream 2 - Car crash (happened last night) *Nightmare* All I remember from this dream is that me, my girlfriend and my daughter were in a ute, my girlfriend was driving and we were in a forested suburban area. We seemed to be coming back from my field trip (of which they weren't a part of irl) where I had just taken a lot of strike and dip measurements for the regional geology. She drove up to a stop point and stopped, but as the way was clear and she started to drive on she suddenly stared blankly off to the distance with a glazed over look... She kept on driving and I had begun to shout something like "road road road!" or "turn turn turn".. something panicked and unsettled because we were heading straight for a wall and she was completely spaced out. I could only think of my daughter getting hurt and how scared I was, then we slammed into a cobblestone wall and I woke up. Had to post these pretty late so details are missing and there aren't many dreams, I've been working in the field for the past 4 days away from home so I haven't had internet.
