    1. Grace, Elsa, cracks in the stairwell, clockwork

      by , 01-20-2015 at 11:36 PM
      Hellblazer, I/Constantine had been working with this teenage girl in the previous scene; now she's gone alone to a hospital to see her kid brother. He's in a ward with a lot of beds, and he's kneeling up on the end of his bed to talk to her. He's saying, "Is it possible that Grace is only after Constantine?" Grace is a surname - the Grace in question is a middle-aged man. And when the kid says Constantine, 'uncle' is implied. "Because he's not exactly a... us anymore." 'Us' meaning a person, a human being. I'd made one deal too many. Which has made it possible for me to be summoned up and controlled, used as a tool - that's what they suspect Grace is after.

      (Woke up. Back to sleep.)

      After an unsuccessful night looking for blood, I have to rely on Elsa, a sort of servant. Last resort. We use transfusion tubes to draw out the blood, to avoid any unwanted side effects on her, and I alter her mind to make it pleasant for her. I compliment her on the quality, she's changed her diet since the last time we had to do this. I'm speaking German-accented English.

      (Woke up. Back to sleep.)

      I'm climbing up a stairwell, climbing up through years. As I pass the platform that will lead to the 1990s, getting close to home, I hear voices up ahead. I come across a man and a woman leaning against the wall; the woman's saying, "No, it's 203. They changed the calendar - finally. I was starting to lose track."

      Further up, another group having a conversation, talking about the cracks in the walls. A woman's saying, "They're glitching so bad a man could get in."

      I reach my door, present day. But just beside my door, the cracks in the walls are so severe that they've formed a sort of second door - I think I could walk right through. The black sort of skittering motion that appears in all the cracks is more visible here. But the scene just before I entered the stairwell had involved accidentally intruding in a place where I shouldn't be, disrespectfully, and trying to make up for that. I decide against stepping through the cracks. I take the door to the present day.

      I step out into what's meant to be an apartment where I live, distorted in a sort of cartoonish representation of hallucination, like you might see in an old music video; it seems to be underwater. Then my field of vision pulls back - now I'm looking at a screen containing an image of this room. It's labeled as a game preview. I'm aware that if I'd stepped through the cracks, the scene still wouldn't have lasted for much longer, since this is only a preview - but that's where the real storyline would begin.

      (Woke up. Back to sleep.)

      I've taken my clockwork heart out of my chest to work on it. I have a mental association with the Snow Queen. I'm in my workshop, full of various clockwork devices, and I'm carrying on a conversation with my apprentice. The image changes to show the subject of our conversation - a bird whose flight over the desert is taking it over a pair of dark horses at the moment. I'm saying, "It doesn't matter if the bird is clockwork or flesh and blood." Either way, it'll fly the same repetitive pattern every year.

      Dream recall from today"s WBTB/naps.

      Dream 1(fragments):

      We were in some city and there were dragons and we agreed to work together to defeat enemies, we thought up a plan but then decided to change a few things to make it less risky.

      Dream 2(fragments):

      There was something about dragon leader, and then there was scene with two workers were doing stuff in harbor kinda place and then got into argument which ended up in silly anime-like joke fight and then they went to leader.

      Dream 3(fragments):

      I was apparently playing KSP and some update added some thingies that let kerbals bounce on them. I"ve played around with that and time warp which caused kerbals to ragdoll glitch and grow a second head. Then i was looking up some different video game vids and every ragdoll was glitched in them. Then i got distracted by random food.

      Dream recall from today"s WBTB/nap.

      Dream 1:

      I was playing creeper world 3, custom level. Started in top right and there was apparently some sort of enemy base near the bottom left corner of the map which was connected through rotated S-like way to start. There were also creeper emitters all around and bunch of stuff to the right of the base. I've started progressing and apparently had to fight enemy forces like an RTS, as well as creeper, which was apparently controlling those enemy forces. I've managed to clear enemy base using turrets and destroy specific building, which freed the base and gave all it's units to me. I've built two artillery cannons, one on charger, and easily cleared up the remaining part of the map.

      Dream 2:

      I was playing SK with some T3 newbie, we have reached some dark purple place with obelisks that was apparently newly added place to arcade which allowed to access danger missions from arcade runs. Also custom models were added and my player model was a black dragon. We decided to do Compound 42 but i forgot to change equips which were weaker versions of fire breath and fire ball that i was leveling up for upgrading. I've left to change equips and we decided to restart mission from mission menu.
      Then i wake up and feel
      that i am dreaming. I stabilize and go to balcony door, i try to phase through it but something goes wrong and i get outside of the place's boundaries into the void in some glitchy state. I try to get out but then i wake up again, or rather, get awaken by somebody, i still feel that i am dreaming and i go to try again with balcony door. Halfway towards it i wake up again, bed is in wrong position and i feel that i am dreaming, movement is glitchy but i manage to get up eventually. I look around for portals and then i just decide to teleport by going through the wall. It works and as i go through wall view kinda gets pixelated for a bit with white pixels forming squares. Then i find myself falling through some large dark tube, i glide with my wings to the bottom and there seems to be exit to the side, but i wake up before i can look into it
    4. Dream paralysis turns into unintentional lucid.

      by , 08-03-2013 at 08:24 PM (My amazing dream journal)
      During the night I had been having dreams where I couldn't move at all or open my eyes very much. I had woken up and decided to lay there for a bit. Soon I had fallen it of bed and tried to stand up but whenever I did I fell down like lag in a video game. I held out my hand and tried to close the door without touching it, and it closed. I was dreaming!

      I kept trying to stand up but it was still glitch isn't up. I wondered if this was happening cause I was in between the two worlds, awake and asleep. So I yelled "Fall asleep!" And I could finally move a little more. I yelled it again, and soon I could jump out the window. I jumped out and glided to the ground, the blinds were wrapped around me for a second, but were soon gone. I was finally outside.

      I still didn't know how to fly but I looked up and like, brought my weight up and soon I was flying. I turned around to see the ground and saw that I was flying backwards so I got a little scared that I might crash and turned back forward. I controlled my flying by tipping my shoulders to the way I want to go, and how much I tipped the, was how much I would turn.

      I was flying around for like five seconds when I heard a lawnmower and I saw someone mowing their lawn. I flew over to him and pick him up by his armpits, and started to sing "A Whole New World" suddenly an Arabian man appeared and started to sing in the background with me. I realized my voice sounded awful so I shouted "Play A Whole New World" and amazingly it started playing after about a minute, the guy faded out and so did the music and the scene slowly shifted into a pure white building with rafters.

      I left the building which turned into my local mall. I saw a girl from my school hanging out with a girl I didn't know, and I went over to her and started to feel her breasts. I lifted her shirt up, and started to kiss her but I started waking up. Before I realized it I had woken up and almost yelled "Fall asleep" but it was too late.

      Lesson here is that I cannot have dream sex ever, cause this always happens. This is also my first one in a couple weeks, so I broke my dry spell.
      I also have if this was a WILD or a DILD or what...

      Non dream|nonlucid|lucid

      It's just barely my birthday. I decided to take a short nap.

      I lay for a while, body starts twitching, vibrating all over. I start seeing random partial scenes, still unsure as to whether I'm 'far enough in yet' to start building. I try, just a little, to move my body. I'm in SP. Feel like my fingers weigh a ton. Okay, I think, so I'm good to go. I stare into the darkness. Ask myself what I should be doing. Show me something useful. Remind me what to do. Ah! A lightbulb comes over my head. I've never flown. I guess I'll try it. I'm not sure what else to do with myself. I've tried 'flying' before but I just ended up jumping really high, wasn't trying hard enough. Well, here goes. I stand straight and insist that I'm 'like a bullet fired up from the ground'.

      Well, I flew alright- STRAIGHT UPWARD. I start SHOOTING into space, weaving between asteroids and past planets. I see Jupiter and Saturn go by. I start going faster and faster, and I'm starting to freak out because the speed is causing 'wind resistance' as I cut through friggen space, and the roaring of it is making my ears hurt really bad. (Wtf.) I say to myself hey, it doesn't matter. It's just a dream. It's not like my ears 'actually hurt'. I try to ignore it. The pain just ramps up.

      I feel my head start lolling to the side, sliding down the pillow.

      The pain has gotten intolerable. I sigh and stop, floating in space. The ROARing in my ears still continues like I've got the meanest invisible earbuds playing static on max volume. It's like some kind of glitch is happening and I'm still 'hearing wind resistance' even though I'm stationary- and what's worse, it's *in* my ears, not coming from somewhere else.

      I feel my hand now also begin to slide off the couch. My body begins to follow it, slowly rolling down onto the floor.

      I try to do my usual 'hand crank in the air to turn down the volume'. The volume won't go down. I begin to wonder if something in WL is causing this. The pain doesn't stop. I start to lose my concentration. I feel my center of gravity get all jacked up, like my body is being flipped over.

      I hear the halfglass of water and box of tissues get knocked off the foot of the couch by my feet as I roll over and fall, on my back, onto the floor. I lay there for a while, completely still, wondering if I can just keep dreaming regardless. I keep my eyes closed and focus on the planets I'd just seen move by. No dice. I open my eyes and start trying to move, but I'm still coming out of sleep paralysis. (For me, trying to move during sleep paralysis feels BADONG and uncomfortable- like a turd going back up your ass when you're trying to pinch one off.) I lay there for a while with my eyes barely open, unmoving. I look over and see that I've somehow overturned the couch while falling. Sigh.

      I wrench myself out of it and get up, to set the couch back upright again. I start clearing the table and cleaning the house like I should've been in the first place. I am grouchy now. The couch is heavier than I expected, I start putting all my weight into shoving it. HRRGHHH

      Realize the 'HURGH' discomfort is coming from my body, still in SP, still trying to move. I see the livingroom light behind my eyelids now. I'm awake. I lay there for a while to make sure I'm out of it before I start moving. I get up. DRAT.

      NOTES: In the FA, there were several things that should have indicated it wasn't WL, that I failed to notice: 1. I was in my exboyfriend's flannel robe. I went to sleep in a pair of shorts. 2. THE COUCH WAS SIDEWAYS. No matter how hard a 125lb person 'falls off' a 6foot couch, the couch does *not* 'flip over' from the sheer force of them falling off while sleeping. Wtf. 3. I ONLY 'fall off the bed' during FA's! I've only fallen off the bed 'for real' ONE TIME when I was a kid. How would I be 'sliding off the 'bed' during SP?! Derp. 4. The livingroom light was off, and the lamp was on- so it was dark. In WL I'd left all the lights on.
