    1. Reinvigorated

So, I've not been on DV recently, as I was going through some important family stuff. However, I'm back with a story about my first full, and intentional lucid experience. It felt about 3 hours long, but, as I didn't have my DJ nor Internet, and it happened 3 days ago, I'm only able to remember some bits.

      ************************************************** ***********

I don't remember the first portion of it, but I spontaneously plug my nose to do a reality check. I can breathe. What a strange feeling, breathing through a plugged nose. I realize I'm dreaming and attain mild lucidity. First and foremost, I try to fly, naturally. I fall flat on my face. I'm standing up again, and remember reading somewhere that a good way to fly in a dream was to hop, expecting your jumps to get higher and higher as you go. I try it, but my jumping size doesn't increase.

'No matter,' I think to myself. I decide to explore. I don't remember anything else up until seeing the glass building a while later. I imagine that it's a dungeon and rush inside, and I am greeted with none other than the pits of hell. There's a save point, and I recognize that I'm dreaming again, 'catching' my falling lucidity by doing the same reality check, and admiring the hell-room.

The dream restarts, and I do the exact same things, except without lucidity. It restarts again, and I am lucid once again. I head down to the same place, except wanting to go past it this time. However, to my surprise, a rich guy is standing on some boxes with a megaphone, advertising the dungeon. I was angered, and woke up.

      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So yeah, that was fun. I'm glad I didn't wake up instantly, though I wish I had taken more time to check out the surroundings. It was also interesting that it restarted not once, but twice.
    2. Horror Side; Lucid Strings #2

Sort of a horror-esque type dream.

I was in the living room with my mom, my brother, and his baby son. We were coming from the store when a girl, I guess his girlfriend shows up as well. After talking afterwards, his son falls off the edge of a porch and seriously hurts himself. We bandage him up and I look for my mom's towel in my brother's car. It was a beautiful day with passing clouds, a bright sun, and seemed mildly cool but was still warm.

I was searching through his car which seemed very messy with a lot of things all over the place. He comes over and ends up helping. We decided to drive around so we end up whipping the car in reverse and spin around almost hitting which looked like my friends naj and isa. We drove up hill and noticed a anime styled girl walking in the middle of the street. Her eyes were black where it should be white and her iris was gold. Her mouth was slightly opened and she seemed to stare blankly at us. We drove by and she was just looking in one direction pass us.

We kept driving and noticing most of the girls had the same eyes and this zombified look on their faces. Caught a girl biting another's head. I remember saying that they seemed controlled by this dead girl. Soon we are out the car walking when a dark skinned girl shows up. She wanted us to come with her. As we were walking down the hill near the school, I caught a glimpse of her eyes shift color to gold in a split second. Me and my brother end up running the opposite way and she resumed chase.

We ran down this hill and afterwards turn left back up the other hill losing her completely. My brother had the idea of crossing over then full sprinting straight toward the house. She soon spots us again and we did just that. Speed running toward our house passing other girls who seem zombified and began chasing us as we picked up speed, almost inhuman at that point.

We were at our house and I was watching TV about these magical primates that had white and gray fur. One had a staff with glowing red auras around them. They seemed very intelligent. Soon afterwards I heard that the girls desired to have sex with us since they were only running on reptilian instinct, however will try to eat people if hungry.

Another horror esque dream showing me and friends playing basketball in a classroom. We were having fun until we noticed something odd. Things that were coming to reality shouldn't be. I saw Alma from the F.E.A.R games coming forth from the TV along with other creatures. We were all running around noticing these entities terrifying other people in the building and attacking them. One creature looked like a tall grotesque, humanoid bag of blood and skin, and another looked like a biomass looking golem.

*Woke up at 7:30, wrote dreams in Awoken Journal, back to sleep*

Short string of 5-6 lucid dreams. Each time it started, I woke up in my bed, plugged my nose, and confirmed it. Walk out of my room for different events to happen. It was almost like my room is a base to restart.

One of which where I went to my front door only to have a girl walk in to make out with me. Afterwards I went to my room to spawn a DC but restarted.

Second time walked from my room to the basement. A door opens another girl in and she follows me to my room and we talked about something. Restarted.

Third same thing, I walked to my front door to see if another DC would spawn but nope. I stabilized and tried walking through a wall to my room and it worked.

The last two I cannot remember, but I think I went outside to levitate reasonably high. Im working on figuring out what causes these lucid strings as im calling them and working to induce them. So far they seem to happen whem im in deep relaxation but tireless at the same time.

      "Invasion Evasion"

(I watched Skyline, for the first time, last night. It was an 'ok' movie, but the visual effects were tight as hell.)
The earliest thing I remember was being in a camp-like atmosphere, with a few friends, in a trailer. Someone had a dog; like a lab mix or something, and I was playing with her, rubbing her belly. After a short while, the dog began to get really agitated and started glaring at the door. Some creepy shit happened, where a person came to the door and then turned into an alien, and we had to escape the trailer. I believe we pushed the creature into the bonfire and burned it, but this part is all really hazy. Soon after, I was alone, and running through the streets. The major attack had already begun, and there were larger aliens - dozens of stories tall - walking amongst the buildings and roadways. The city was completely destroyed and, no matter where I went or tried to hide, these things would always find me. The creatures that were too big to fit inside the buildings, would send out these long tentacles (like the ones in the movie), and snake them through the buildings to find me. I ended up dying, over and over, in this dream. Every time the tentacles would find me, they would either pull me back into the main body of the alien, or just splatter me all over the place, wherever I had been hiding.

After respawning a couple of times, I knew I had to get out of the city, so I began to make a bee-line toward the edge of town, sprinting as long and hard as my body would allow me - and I remember being able to run for miles, without losing steam. But these tentacles were relentless. An alien could shoot the tentacles from its "hand", and the rope-like appendages would literally travel for miles - seemingly to endless distances - through the air, to chase their target. Again, I died quite a few times, while trying to escape the city; simply respawning again at the beginning and continuing to run, taking another route. There were times that I would try to steal cars, and some of them would have this "gunk" on them. Whenever I drive those cars, the "gunk" would begin to spread around the outside of the vehicle, trying to 'cocoon' itself in this alien sludge. I would see this happening and have to bail out of the car, before it completely encased me. What's more, is that some of these droplets of "gunk" would actually spring to life, and form whole aliens - each maybe 10 feet tall and built like bipedal elephants - which would then join the chase. Running from these things kind of felt like maneuvering through the game Prototype.

It was like I was the only person in the city, and this entire alien force was centered on me, the whole time. There were just so many of them, and I was beginning to feel hopeless. After having to repeat this scenario, over and over, upon each death, I just wasn't feeling very confident that I would ever get out of this Hell. Suddenly, thankfully, just as despair was kicking in, I realized that this all had to be a dream. I was still on the run, though, as these things just weren't letting up, and anytime they would catch me, they would just annihilate me before I could do anything about it. Still respawning after each death, I took to flying, instead of running. It took me a little while to get up to speed, in my flying, as this dream was very vivid, and I was having a hard time manipulating it. I tried some telekinesis on the pursuing tentacles, but wasn't able to affect them.

Once I got the hang of flying, though, the flight/chase sequences were absolutely sick. The easiest way I knew to keep my speed up, was to imagine myself as a missile. The thing was, though, that these tentacles were just as fast, so just because I could fly, didn't mean that I was getting out of the city an easier. I was empowered by my lucidity, though, and was more having fun with it, than frantically fleeing for my life. I weaved through the city at breakneck speed, an expanding trail of tentacles, following closely behind me. It was one of those zigging, zagging, dizzying, high-tech chases that you would see in any major, sci-fi blockbuster - just screaming through the sky, with impossible agility. Sometimes I would land on the street, to gain my bearings - pivoting and then launching off in another direction, just as the tentacles whipped passed me and then arced around to follow once again. I remember being chased at just the same height of some of the tallest rooftops, and then dropping toward the ground, head first, to try to throw off the oncoming appendages. I was going so fast that there was a single moment, there, where I worried about 'what happens if I'm not able to pull up, in time?' Even though I knew that I was dreaming, I wasn't really looking to slamming headfirst, into the street, so I pulled up on my own trajectory, as I could, nearly skimming the ground and then continuing to rocket down the street, the tentacles still keeping pace at every twist and turn. I also recall that the aliens could talk, and they all spoke with the same voice - as if it were a collective consciousness - which reminded me something of the Joker, from The Dark Knight.

I don't really remember whether or not I ever made it out of the city. I don't think so, though.
