    1. The Roller Coaster, The Shanty Town, The Ocean, and the Talent Show.

      by , 10-18-2012 at 09:24 PM
October 17, 2012 - The night after the nap!

Pre-knowledge: I didn't do any of my normal techniques, nor did I attempt to become lucid. I just went to bed, because I was SO tired

      The Dream:

The first thing I remember was that I was in line for a roller coaster. The line went up and up and up, because the docking platform for the carts was very high off the ground. This guy in a suit came up to me, grabbed my arm, and pulled me passed everyone in the line. The gate to the docking platform opened and he shoved me through, I tripped up a little bit. I looked back and the guy was gone. There was nobody operating the controls for the roller coaster. There were no carts. Everyone in line was staring at me. Suddenly, a cart came in to the station. I got in the front seat. It didn't move. Everyone was still just staring at me.

There was a gap or a jump in my dream, and I was in a small coastline town. Maybe only a couple hundred people in it. There were a few small bars I visited, nothing interesting happened. Except, I did have a drink at one of the bars. It made my vision extremely blurry. It only persisted for a little while. I walked around the town. There was a street that was designated to roadside shops. I walked down it, browsing for something. I don't know what.

Again there was another blur I don't remember, but after that I tried to get away from the town, because it was a bad place to be. There was a path that led up into the country-side that I walked up. And it winded into a crevice. I continued following the path through the crevice. After some walking, I turned the corner, and there was a large gate. It was a wall of aluminum that kind of opened up like a garage. There was a guard on top that said "No passing through," so I turned around.

It was dinner time, so I went back to that pub/bar. My friend Kevin was there. I asked what he wanted for dinner. He said "I'll have water.. and a bass guitar." I didn't question it. I ate. He drank his water. After, we went to this auditorium. There was a TON of people here. I'm pretty sure the whole town gathered up. I sat in the audience and Kevin went backstage. It turned out to be a talent show.

A bunch of acts played but the only one I remember was this kid with dreads who's last name was Hoody. He was a rapper. He did pretty well, and used his last name in a few lines. It was interesting. He looked at me after every line. I was in the front. So I wasn't sure if it was just because I was in the front, or because he just felt like looking at me. It was kind of creepy. Then there was another hazy part that I don't remember.

The next thing I remember was that I still had the desire to leave the town. I went to the coastline/beach with my friend Kevin. I figured we could swim away in the ocean. Right when I set foot on the water, four or five policemen popped up out of nowhere in what looked like to be some advanced jet skis and prevented us from going in.

Another blur happened. I went to these giant docks (what looked like a harbor,) and got on a battleship. I was standing on the very bow of the battleship, and it pulled out of port. I saw this as a way of escape from that piece of garbage town. After a few minutes of riding the waves, the huge guns behind me turned to starboard side and started firing. I couldn't really see what it was shooting at, but the sound and smoke knocked me down a little bit. It was kind of like getting flashbanged, but not as intense. A torpedo hit the side of the boat, and it went down, I jumped off the other side of the boat before it tipped and nose-dove into the water. I was a couple hundred feet underwater for some reason, and the boat came down on top of me.

Suddenly, I was back riding the battleship again. And the same exact thing happened. It was as if I respawned. The torpedo hit the battleship, but this time, I jumped off the opposite side I had before. I lived. I saw the ship go down, underwater, and it seemed to be on fire underwater. Smoke was billowing from it. I swam to the surface, and woke up.

      Analysis:
I'll go deeper into this later. I have to go take an exam.
    2. Died But Respawned And Stayed In The Dream! :D

      by , 08-19-2012 at 08:11 PM (Dimension X)
This dream was pretty long too... So it started out in a three story house. On the top floor there was pizza. I only had 2 slices and wasn't allowed to have any more. I couldn't go up there and try to steal some either because my dad and some other guy were up there too. I remember in the dream that I was just really hungry. So then it turned nighttime, and I decided to kind of army crawl on the floor towards the pizza. While I was where the pizza is, there were some other things there too. There was some kind of jar of something... And a random box of candies. They were spherical and hollow and were coated in sugar... My dad was on a bed nearby sleeping, and the other guy was across the room in a sleeping bag... Well... Sleeping. I remember I somehow starved to death in the dream and I died.... o.O But then I... Respawned...?! But after I did, I went a bit insane. I didn't care if I was caught trying to steal the pizza, I just made roaring and growling noises like some sort of monster and I ran up into the room as fast as I could, swiped one piece, and ran back to the second floor and hid in a corner to eat it. I devoured the slice in like 5 seconds. But I was still hungry and wanted more. My mom came out of nowhere, and decided to help me I guess, so then we were outside all of the sudden. My dad was in the garage and awake so we had to be quiet. My mom walked up quickly and took the box of candies and brought it back. She said something, kind of loudly too, and I reminded her to be quiet. But as we were walking down the driveway, away from the house and garage, my dad came out of the garage, and we started to walk over to him. Something else happened, but I forget what. Next, my mom and I were walking down a street with some random kid who was carrying a sword, and we were talking but then the kid turned right, and went down another street. And I remember saying "He better be careful. If you're caught with a sword on that street, you're killed."

      That's all I remember...

    3. Party, and Bothering People

by , 11-06-2011 at 04:48 AM (The Absurd Adventures of CWHunt)
I'm starting to get better recall! So awesome! I remembered two dreams tonight. Maybe I will attempt a WILD soon just for the heck of it.

The Party, School, and My Friends
The dream starts with a FA of sorts. Not really though. I'm ready for school and my dad drives me to a highway that doesn't actually exist IRL. He tells me to have a good day and drives off so I can wait for the bus.
I don't even ride the bus to school IRL.
While at school we are invited to this huge party and we get so excited that I stay at my friends house until the party starts. A few hours before the party we watch my dream's version of Paranormal Activity and it almost makes it some sort of satire comedy. It feels like I'm watching a Scary Movie that has the Paranormal Activity series as the story. We continue watching until the "ghost" appears. I looks like a person but its nose seems to be some sort of rubber or something and .... you know.. I won't even bother describing it. It was weird.
Suddenly my friend gets possessed by a ghost and he decides to stay home from the party. After a few hours I leave, not only because of the party, but because I'm afraid I will get possessed too.
I reach the party and hang with my friends while they talk about an even better party going on. I decide to follow them and get in my car to go where they go. A car next to me suddenly plays a song I know, but the lyrics are changed. I ignore it and follow my friends while a person suddenly appears in the seat next to me. The person acts like a robot because of how it talks, but I try to make conversation. It continues to ignore me as it blabbers on about unimportant things and I wake up.

You Got A Home In My Walmart!
I'm with tons of my friends (I think my friends are a recurring theme in my dreams. They are always the same people too. I will take note of this. and we are driving down the highway somewhere. I ask my friend driving the car where we are going and he says we need to go to Walmart to kill someone that has been annoying us. I tell him how stupid that is, but he just ignores me.
Suddenly we are chased by a helicopter shooting at us on the busy highway as we reach the Walmart in the middle of the city. We drive through a window into the building. My friends go off to do whatever except for one. Him and I go into the hot tub section of the store and try to get one filled up because we are bored. My friends suddenly start running out so we follow. Turns out they couldn't kill the person. This didn't have the balls.
We all decide to go back in just to annoy the people. We enter and I notice an area across a big lake of goo. I see someone with glowing eyes waving at me until I realize that almost 20 of my friends are in that room. They somehow get over to us and we leave.
It turns night and we realize that we have forgotten something and go back in. The store is suddenly made as a house with a women, child, and an old man. The old man is getting into a bed in one room while the mother is putting the child to bed in the room where my friends were hiding over the goop before. We decide to scare the mother.
I notice tons of Portal 2 apparatus lying around. After realizing this we, somehow, get over the goop and go to scare the woman. She walks out of the room and we realize we need to run. Everyone jumps on an Ariel Faith Plate that suddenly appeared to fling them over the goop. I attempt to do this, but it doesn't work. The woman doesn't seem mad but instead annoyed as she walks towards me. I suddenly remember that this is Portal 2 goop and if I jump in I will respawn. I do so and wake up.

Interesting dreams haha. Hey, they were vivid. They are good enough for me right now after my year long dry spell.

I am in a dark cave-like building with my brother. I am fighting him with
weapons from the PSX game, Ape Escape. We each have something like
five lives and I beat him the first time with the stun club but he gets me
down to one life. I then kill him again after he respawns so he now has
four. After he respawns I think, "damn, I should have used the time net,
he's going to kill me now." Sure enough, he kills me with his stun club.
Later, I am looking at a vending machine trying to figure out what to get.

      The dream ends.
    5. 12/06/2010 - "Invasion Evasion"

      "Invasion Evasion"

(I watched Skyline, for the first time, last night. It was an 'ok' movie, but the visual effects were tight as hell.)
The earliest thing I remember was being in a camp-like atmosphere, with a few friends, in a trailer. Someone had a dog; like a lab mix or something, and I was playing with her, rubbing her belly. After a short while, the dog began to get really agitated and started glaring at the door. Some creepy shit happened, where a person came to the door and then turned into an alien, and we had to escape the trailer. I believe we pushed the creature into the bonfire and burned it, but this part is all really hazy. Soon after, I was alone, and running through the streets. The major attack had already begun, and there were larger aliens - dozens of stories tall - walking amongst the buildings and roadways. The city was completely destroyed and, no matter where I went or tried to hide, these things would always find me. The creatures that were too big to fit inside the buildings, would send out these long tentacles (like the ones in the movie), and snake them through the buildings to find me. I ended up dying, over and over, in this dream. Every time the tentacles would find me, they would either pull me back into the main body of the alien, or just splatter me all over the place, wherever I had been hiding.

After respawning a couple of times, I knew I had to get out of the city, so I began to make a bee-line toward the edge of town, sprinting as long and hard as my body would allow me - and I remember being able to run for miles, without losing steam. But these tentacles were relentless. An alien could shoot the tentacles from its "hand", and the rope-like appendages would literally travel for miles - seemingly to endless distances - through the air, to chase their target. Again, I died quite a few times, while trying to escape the city; simply respawning again at the beginning and continuing to run, taking another route. There were times that I would try to steal cars, and some of them would have this "gunk" on them. Whenever I drive those cars, the "gunk" would begin to spread around the outside of the vehicle, trying to 'cocoon' itself in this alien sludge. I would see this happening and have to bail out of the car, before it completely encased me. What's more, is that some of these droplets of "gunk" would actually spring to life, and form whole aliens - each maybe 10 feet tall and built like bipedal elephants - which would then join the chase. Running from these things kind of felt like maneuvering through the game Prototype.

It was like I was the only person in the city, and this entire alien force was centered on me, the whole time. There were just so many of them, and I was beginning to feel hopeless. After having to repeat this scenario, over and over, upon each death, I just wasn't feeling very confident that I would ever get out of this Hell. Suddenly, thankfully, just as despair was kicking in, I realized that this all had to be a dream. I was still on the run, though, as these things just weren't letting up, and anytime they would catch me, they would just annihilate me before I could do anything about it. Still respawning after each death, I took to flying, instead of running. It took me a little while to get up to speed, in my flying, as this dream was very vivid, and I was having a hard time manipulating it. I tried some telekinesis on the pursuing tentacles, but wasn't able to affect them.

Once I got the hang of flying, though, the flight/chase sequences were absolutely sick. The easiest way I knew to keep my speed up, was to imagine myself as a missile. The thing was, though, that these tentacles were just as fast, so just because I could fly, didn't mean that I was getting out of the city an easier. I was empowered by my lucidity, though, and was more having fun with it, than frantically fleeing for my life. I weaved through the city at breakneck speed, an expanding trail of tentacles, following closely behind me. It was one of those zigging, zagging, dizzying, high-tech chases that you would see in any major, sci-fi blockbuster - just screaming through the sky, with impossible agility. Sometimes I would land on the street, to gain my bearings - pivoting and then launching off in another direction, just as the tentacles whipped passed me and then arced around to follow once again. I remember being chased at just the same height of some of the tallest rooftops, and then dropping toward the ground, head first, to try to throw off the oncoming appendages. I was going so fast that there was a single moment, there, where I worried about 'what happens if I'm not able to pull up, in time?' Even though I knew that I was dreaming, I wasn't really looking to slamming headfirst, into the street, so I pulled up on my own trajectory, as I could, nearly skimming the ground and then continuing to rocket down the street, the tentacles still keeping pace at every twist and turn. I also recall that the aliens could talk, and they all spoke with the same voice - as if it were a collective consciousness - which reminded me something of the Joker, from The Dark Knight.

I don't really remember whether or not I ever made it out of the city. I don't think so, though.
