30th May 2021 Fragment: In my bedroom at the old home. It's daytime, maybe early morning, based on the shadows and it's sunny based on the bounced light. I'm looking outside as if from the edge of the balcony but I think I'm actually not on the balcony. I'm talking to someone, maybe dad. I see a big sea turtle (an adult could probably sit comfortably on its shell) crawling towards our building on the cul-de-sac road below. I think to myself about how this happens from time to time. Notes: - I barely managed to recall this and only because of some random association, though not sure what that was anymore. - My dream self believed this type of sighting to be completely normal, hence the thought I had to myself in the dream. - Of my conscious recall between the ages of three and five (?) we had a relatively small pet turtle, living in some vivarium in what was the living room and which later became my bedroom. Oddly, I feel some sort of emotion writing about it, but I hardly remember any interaction with that pet turtle and I don't even remember how or if it passed away. I don't recall ever touching it.
The dream started as a different dream that I can't exactly remember but somehow it led into me laying in a bed watching a movie. Next thing I know, the dream was taking place in the movie. I was a character in the movie instead of myself. I don't even think I looked like myself. I have never had a dream where I was not myself, this was the first one where I played another character. (If anyone else has had a similar situation, I would love to hear about it). In this horror "movie" I was a greaser type guy protecting my gf/date while we waited to see a movie (I know, lol) from a masked man who stood and pointed at her, blaming her for something she must of did. I do not recognize anyone in the dream. I finally see the masked man and decide to run towards him. As I do this I start to become lucid, but not fully. I try to yell for my friends to grab him but I can't (Common in my dreams for me to have trouble talking). I can fee,l what I think is, my real life mouth trying to open and talk but it won't budge. I am scared and try and wake up but what happens is the "Other dream me" "watching" THIS movie stands up to look away from the movie. As if the "me" watching the movie had woken up. I was not completely aware or in control for ether dream bodies. I barely controlled my actions and did not have a huge "I'm dreaming" moment. I realize I need to learn to control my talking in dreams and also control my dream body without trying to move my real body.
Don't remember much of this dream, was woken up abruptly, thus was having hard time remembering stuff. I was in some room, watching videos on the monitor. There were bunch of people around me, mostly random people, but parents were there too. Apparently we were watching some sort of news channel, there was stuff like planes crashing and ships sinking on it, i was laughing for some reason. That continued for some time until like half of people left to do some other things, then i switched to some animation video, which had mix of characters from different cartoons, animation series and games(don't remember most of them tho), in one of episodes that i remember, Duke Nukem was shooting at some enemies in the desert and then running super-fast into some sort of hanger. At the end of the dream i was thinking if i should go to sleep or continue watching(Ahaha).
This was one of those dreams were I felt like I was just watching a movie or something. I wasn't IN the dream. There were these twins at a party who collapsed because of intense leg pain. One of the twins was obsessed with girls, the other with video games. It turned out that they had been in an accident or had some kind of disease which they knew at some point would cause their leg muscles to atrophy. Someone called 911. It cut to them being at home with their parents (they were either in their late teens or adults that still lived with their parents). The doctor was also there and told them they would experience bouts of extreme pain for the rest of their lives and they would have to go to a care facility. It then jumped to their parents asking questions that they would use to choose the perfect facility for them. Every time they asked a question it would turn to the kind of screen you would see when making a decision or talking to someone in the Animal Crossing game series (at least the DS version) and the background of the menu was a pale yellow. One of the questions was whether they wanted to stay local (and it then zoomed in on a section of land that seemed to be around where they lived. it looked to me like the area near palm springs, CA) or go international (those were the two options). One of the twins wanted to stay nearby and the "game" chose a place for them right away. The other twin wanted to go to Japan. The screen then turned to a google maps type thing with the same pale yellow menu. It zoomed in on an area in Japan and I remember seeing labels for individual businesses (for example, there was a little pink fish with the name of a fish market next to it, etc). Then I woke up. Then today in History class this article we were reading used atrophying muscles as a metaphor for something we were learning about.
I can't remember this one too clearly. I didn't sleep all that well. There was some sort of fighting game - it was like a cross between Super Smash Bros. and Marvel vs. Capcom. I was seeing it as if I was in the game itself, and I can't remember if I was actually playing it myself or if I was only watching. The first match I remember was Sentinel vs. some other random person, and Sentinel won. The next one was Captain Falcon vs. Yoshi on a beach level of some sort. Before the fight could start, some special condition started where Yoshi became stuck in an egg, and there was a sort of shelf out on the water with more eggs on it. Some were hatched, some weren't, and some spots were just empty. The condition had something to do with -teenth numbers (nineteenth, seventeenth, etc.). I don't remember any more of this dream, because I woke up shortly after this part.
A little more success this morning; I dreamt that I was watching the making of some 60 Minutes special interviewing 25 people who were involved in ... something in the 60's or I don't remember exactly. Mike Wallace was interviewing people, but he was also one of the people involved, so he was interviewed by a woman named "Silica". +1 0 !
