    1. 13-07-22 General Weirdness

      by , 07-22-2013 at 08:35 AM
I saw a tall skyscraper in a dark city. Someone was told in a stern tone to leave immediately, and I knew this was "how the war started". I thought about "they" stood no chance against "them" as "they were too well hidden". Accompanying that thought, I saw flashes of some kind of bunker tucked away between some other military-looking structures out in the sticks (red rocky environment, reminiscent of Nevada).

I was running on the asphalt road next to my old home, towards the Renault garages that used to be there. The layout was a little different, it looked a little like a park I was running through as I approached our garage from the west (in reality there is nothing to the west, just buildings). Either way, I was running very fast. So fast, I couldn't possibly corner and turn south. I had to make an extraordinary effort to slow down first. Then I continued running south. An old man (on a bike?) passed me, heading norh. He mumbled something. "What did I do this time?" I asked out loud. "I said: good day!". I felt a little bad I thought he insulted me, when all he wanted was to say hi.

    2. Early bed time nightmare

      by

      Monday 7/22/13

I went to bed at 8pm. Was just so tired from last 2 days not getting enough sleep. Had a bunch of dreams. Then finaly woke up from a nightmare.

Started out not so bad. Cops were chasing me and two others. Normally, this is fun, but tonight, I was scared and uncomfortable. i think I have done something really bad. So I'm running away up the sidestreet, while cops are on the main street. I'm hoping the will drive by and not notice us. I can barely walk, like walking in a tar. So i turn and walk backwards. This has usually helped and I'm making some progress.

Then we re running through some corridors. Now I know I have done something bad. A geman shepherd walks in front of me and flashlight he has attached to him illuminates the corridor with weak yellow light. I prod him with my assault rifle and even before i do it, I feel bad about it. But can't stop myself.

Then a booming voice echoes from the end we are running from. Something about "they are coming for us". I start to yell in panic and others come back for me, because I can barely walk again.

      EDIT:
I watched tv for about an hour before going back to bed. Decided to say my mantra "next time I'm dreaming I realize I'm dreaming". And I also decided to add "when I see blue star, I realize I'm dreaming". There is something about visualizing blue star on the Yoga Nidra cd I practice. So I thought I add it as something new. Perhaps my mind will pay attention to it because it's new.

So as I'm reciting these two mantras, suddenly I hear mysef saying: "Next time Karl is not there I realize I'm dreaming". LOL I had to get up and write it down. Where it came from, I have no idea. I don't know any Karl.

    3. Another Try (lucid)

by , 07-22-2013 at 04:35 AM (Hopeless Wanderings)
I'm getting closer and closer to my task. I really hope next time I can actually do it. I want it so bad!

      super short DEILD

I started waking up and realized I was dreaming. I felt myself waking up but tried anyway. I was in a beautiful field with a bunch of trees in the background. I decided to fly, which is the first thing I always do. I jumped up off the ground effortlessly and flew into the air. I think I might have seen a rainbow. After only a few seconds of flying, I thought to myself, "okay. This isn't what I'm here for." I closed my eyes and pictured where I wanted to be. When I opened them, I ended up in the shower(no water running) in my house. So close! I woke soon after.

    4. Walking Backwards

      by , 07-22-2013 at 02:53 AM
The second of two lucids from playing Myst at WBTB.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #123: Walking Backwards

I'm walking by a pool with Dad toward a pile of towels on a beach chair. He asks me how to get really lean for the summer. I'm going through some long-winded explanation and he keeps asking the same really basic questions, apparently understanding almost nothing I'm saying. I wonder why he's so slow to grasp what I'm saying but then realize that I'm dreaming.

Dad has vanished and I'm standing alone by the empty pool. It's long and skinny, like a stretched out Olympic pool. I fly over it toward a doorway on the opposite side. I walk through the doorway into a busy two-story mall. I decide to allow myself a couple of minutes to walk around and take in the sights.

I pass a few stores, turn a corner, and suddenly feel a jolt of fear that the dream won't be stable. I start narrating out loud: "I'm having a really stable lucid dream." I rub my hands together, continuing to narrate out loud to the DCs passing nearby. "And now I am rubbing my hands together. You cannot forget to do that shit!" I yell.

I remember wanting to get to the Colosseum and expect to see an Exit sign. There it is, on my left, near a bank of doors. I walk toward the doors when I spot my friend "Chia" approaching me with a sort of vacuous grin on her face. "Hi!" I say. She repeats it back: "Hi!", still grinning, but her face is sort of morphing into a stranger's face. It's not stable.

I tell Chia that I'm going to the Colosseum and that I'll talk to her later. She nods, and rather than turning away, she walks backwards, not looking where she's going. She's walking near a support column that for some reason is covered with awful stuff like barbed wire and Orcs Must Die-style wall blades. "Watch where you're going!" I say, really feeling distressed. But she just smiles blissfully, circling around the column and out of sight.

Okay, back to the task at hand -- Colosseum. I head for the exit doors, shoving the door open with the crash bar, expecting to wind up in one of the tunnels under the Colosseum. The next hall is a tunnel but it still looks like part of the mall. As I'm deciding what to do next, I'm thrown into the void.

In the darkness of the void, I clearly sense my dream body. But when I try to rub my hands together, I can't make it happen. Awareness of my physical body starts to creep back in. I keep trying to move my dream hands but I'm not getting any response. After attempting this for a while, I finally
      wake up.
    5. Myst

      by , 07-22-2013 at 02:48 AM
I tryied playing some Myst during my WBTB and it seems like it had a serious influence on my dream content and possibly my lucidity.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #122: Myst

I'm walking through an underground chamber with smooth stone walls and a very high ceiling. I hop up onto a ledge and start walking along it when it occurs to me that I'm probably dreaming.

The environment looks very sharp and my awareness feels high. I take the time to assess the visual quality of the scene -- it's completely lifelike. I walk on the ledge, which wraps around the entire room before leading me out through an exit door.

I'm in a narrower hallway now. There's a low tunnel on my right and I decide that it will lead me to the Colosseum for Task of the Year. As I'm watching it, though, I feel like the ceiling of the tunnel has gotten lower. Before I can dismiss this idea, it totally takes over and the tunnel's floor and ceiling close together, sealing it off completely.

I move on, passing through another broad, high chamber like the first one. This leads into a rougher-looking tunnel that cuts back and forth several times at 45-degree angles, very different from the clean, precise right angles of the earlier rooms.

The tunnel opens up at the end and I can see what looks like the inside of a baseball stadium. It's not exactly the Colosseum, but I feel like I can make it work. I manage to get just into the stadium area but
      the dream ends.
    6. Dream or not: Energy in railing of stairs

      by , 07-22-2013 at 02:25 AM
Ok, this one I do not even know whether or not it is a memory of a dream or a daydream or what:

I have a sense of going down (or possibly up) stairs in a staircase holding on to a railing and there was energy in the railing.

This came to me as a vague shadow of a memory of a possible dream during daytime. Since I had no dream recall at night, I shall assume this is a dream memory late after the fact.

    7. 13-07-21 The future. 2020.

      by , 07-22-2013 at 01:20 AM
I was in an office room, in the future. The environment looked very bright and sterile with a lot of curves in the architecture; I loved it. A man in a suit was flirting with a woman who also worked there, possibly his secretary. At one time, they got awkwardly close and almost kissed, but she broke it off just in time. The man walked to his desk and tried to blackmail the woman into something, probably using the kissing incident against her. I opened one of the drawers in his desk, and found blueprints for buildings and cars. I assume the company must have been a designing firm. One of the blueprints caught my eye: a formula-one car of that year (or the next). "Oh, cool! The 2020 F1 car?" I said enthousiastically. "What year is it anyway"? I didn't know for sure, though I was sure it was the twenties. He started "explaining" in a very cryptic way, but never just telling me. "This is so typical of dreams, they never give you a straight answer!" I said in response. Aaaand then I woke up.

    8. 13-07-20 Cute blondes and meteor showers

      by , 07-22-2013 at 01:12 AM
DJ got wiped as my laptop crashed... this will be a quick summary.

I was in some kind of attic, and I was floating. My "friend" from the past, Barra, saw the whole thing, and I told him to try. He could float too. "See? It's easy!" I said.

I saw an ad for a new hobby on my computer, and immediately went to the place. It looked like a school gym, or the inner corridors of a stadium. I asked some people whether this was the place, and they said it was actually for little kids (a place where kids can get theraphy for social skills or whatever). I saw a blonde girl I know from work sitting on a bench nearby. In this dream, her name was "Liuven". For some reason I was feeling very unusually courageous and smooth, and I went to talk to her. In real life she makes me nervous as hell and I'd never speak to her in public. She asked for my number, and I remembered this is how females show they want you to ask for theirs (I have a bad RL experience with this). I asked for her number, and she gave it up. Later on we walked off, and we were talking. Then something happened that interrupted us.

Above ground. We were at a lake, and saw that the horizon was so dark, it was as if the world was upside down. My ex-friends Fenn and Barra were there, too. We sat down by a lake on some comfy chairs. Suddenly, I saw a large meteorite enter atmosphere and crash violently several clicks away. Then I felt something hitting my skin. They were micro-meteorites, a whole storm of them. We rushed underground, down some kind of hatch. We ended up in some kind of sewer. We looked into one of the tunnels, and saw a fire erupting into an inferno and coming towards us. Suddenly, Peter Petrelli from Heroes grabbed the girl, "Liuven", and shielded her from the flames. They were both burned to a crisp. Unexpectedly though, Liuven started regenerating, and Peter mimicked her and healed soon after. We were all surprised to discover Liuven was special.

    9. 07/20/13 Almost Completed Personal Fruit Growing Task

by , 07-22-2013 at 01:08 AM (Cities in the Astral)
Current Task: Grow from the ground complete and accurate plants (Tomatoes and bananas), have them bear fruit. eat the fruit and have the taste and texture be fairly correct.

      Attempt 2: DILD, accidental.

I was just dreaming about random stuff and did an RC which worked. I did my click my teeth together and run the tip of my tongue over my front teeth RC. The sound was muffled and the teeth felt less than clear, like a blurry sense of touch. I became lucid.

I quickly became very aware and remembered my goal. I erased the current visuals and looked at the ground. I focused on the idea of plant sprouting. Last time the tomato looked stick like. This time (I have been staring at a real tomato plant lately) the tomato plant looked about as perfect as I could hope, but its manner of sprouting was more like watching the plant be created a layer at a time from the bottom up, much like a 3d printer. The final plant was great looking and bore fruit. At this point the dream was fading so I stabilized. In the process of stabilizing the visuals had been erased.

I decided to just accept that that was a great run at the tomato and to move on to my first attempt at bananas. I looked at the ground and made a plant sprout. Bananas are trees, so I made it thick and powerful, but when it was only about 6 foot tall the visuals showed something that looked segmented like a piece of Christmas cactus. I imagined how it should look and it morphed in stages until it was a perfect 12 foot tall banana tree and sprouted clusters of bananas. I noticed the bananas did not have a bold yellow color, but were brownish. I decided that was fine as many bananas are not so vibrant yellow as store bought ones. The dream started to fade again, and when I stabilized again, the tree was gone.

I knew I had not ate the fruit, so I created a nice banana in my hand. I decided that was actually pointless as I want the sequence to flow unbroken from sprout to eating the fruit. At this point something IRL woke me up.

    10. Day 1 -Just Discovered this Website--Another Day in "Vegas"

      by , 07-22-2013 at 12:21 AM
I just discovered this website thanks to someone on reddit linking to a post about ADA (All Day Awareness) which I'm eager to try.
I've been Lucid Dreaming for a few years now but it's all been random DILD's until recently where I had my first successful WILD. Now I'm really trying. I want to do everything I can to have more lucid dreams and I want to share it with people. that's why I'm here!

      Anyway..

Tonight I was in "las vegas" again---despite going there twice in real life, my dream version of LV is always terrible and nothing like the real thing---I found myself with almost no money (another common thing) and in a taxi. I asked the driver to suggest where I should go based on how much money I had and he told me to go see Phantom of the Opera and then play games at the bar next door. (apparently my subconscious is mixing together new york and las vegas)
At one point I was on a hotel room trying to watch a video that was like a guide of the city, I asked someone to rewind it so I could see a certain strip but they wouldn't do it and it really upset me.

NOTE: It's very frustrating to me how often I have dreams about Las Vegas and Hotels/Vacations and yet I virtually never go lucid in this dreams. Considering I'm AWARE how much I dream about vegas, shouldn't I immediately recognize that I'm in a dream? Isn't one of the main ideas of the dream journal to make it to where you can recognize common themes in your dream and thus become aware and thus become lucid.

and yet despite knowing this, I never seem to be aware of it until after I wake up...

      anyway

2nd dream I was inside my childhood house looking out the window when two young men on bicycles rode by. I thought one of them looked like my bike that had been stolen. Suddenly a police officer pulls up and neighbors surround the scene to see what's going on. It turns out the bikes were stolen (but not mine)

    11. 30 Days of SSILD - Day 16

      by , 07-22-2013 at 12:08 AM
So I've decided to do a 30-day challenge of using the SSILD technique. I have experimented with the technique before with somewhat mixed success. So this time I'm going to use nothing but SSILD for the next 30 days and record how many LD's and FA's I get. So here we go:

      Day 16

(Obligatory note about how I've missed over a week of entries because my sleep schedule's been messed up when in reality it's because I'm too lazy to get up early in the morning anymore...)

So I went to bed late last night and got up early this morning, but I decided this afternoon would be the perfect time to take a lucid nap. I took 300 mg of B6 before I went to bed about 2 pm. Although I laid there until about 2:30 after doing the cycles, I finally got to sleep, and kind of had my first ever WILD, but without the lucidity (WID?). Like for the first time I watched the HH until it kind of popped into a dream scene, but for some reason I wasn't lucid right away. I guess that counts as success, but anyway...

I started out in some kind of video game kind of like Banjo-Kazooie, in that it was an open world but I had to complete missions to collect some special tokens or something. The missions had me going to various places, like my brother's apartment, my dorm room, and some weird island. After this, my boss from work was leading me to some place (my two dream signs are work and video games, and BOOM here they are in the same dream, and I'm still not lucid yet...). However, along the way, he leads me into this warp point that takes me to some secret area for some secret mission. The only problem is that I've already done the mission, apparently, so I remember mentally hitting the back button several times to get back to the main world. After the second or third time, my boss finally turns around to me and says "Maybe I should stop running into those things, huh?".

He finally leads me into this mall, and I find myself lost in the middle of JC Penney. There's tons of people around. I don't remember what, but something about the scene makes me lucid. I take a few moments to realize that I am dreaming, and therefore this is a dream - nothing is real (something I seem to always forget in my lucids...). I decide that I want to talk to my dream guide, so first I decide to thin out the crowd. I yell out "There's nobody here." I call it out a few times, and each time, there seems to be less and less people until soon the store is empty. I then decide to summon my dream guide, which I determined from an earlier dream is a gray-haired wolf-like creature. I call out his name several times, expecting him to be right around the corner, but he never comes. One time, however, I think I see him around the corner, so I run around to find that it's just a furry gray purse (doh, so close...). I finally decide to abandon that track and just have my first talk with my subconscious. I yell out that I want to talk to my subconscious. I yell this several times, but find no one. I see this tall shelf in front of me, so I decide to climb up to get a better view. I take kind of a Superman-ish leap and jump on top of it (that was easy...). I look out, and I see the busy mall beneath me.

Suddenly, someone taps me on the shoulder. I turn around to see this guy that kind of looks like a younger, more buff Christopher Eccleston (aka the ninth Doctor, aka the Doctor that was in the only episode of Doctor Who that I've ever watched...). All he says to me is that I should get out soon as he points to a door down on the ground. I ask him if he is my subconscious, and he says something like he is my "pre-subconscious", but he can help me get to my subconscious, but first I have to run. There's this explosion on the other side of the mall, and all of a sudden water starts flowing from the source of the explosion. I was apparently not on the shelf anymore since I don't remember jumping down before I ran towards the door he pointed out. He kind of ran with me some of the way, but we got separated when I got to the door. I saw some of my friends outside, and they called me over to where one of my teachers was sitting with his car. I got in and we drove off to the beach.

I was suddenly in my swimsuit, apparently, and I walked to the water. Before I got there, though, the guy I talked to in the mall walked up to me and stopped me. He introduced himself to me as C44 (pronounced "C-four-four", yeah, I don't get it either...). He walked me over to this group of people by an umbrella. He introduced me to these other people, 2 guys and one girl. I don't remember any of their names, but they looked like partying college kids that go to the beach to get drunk on Spring Break (aka the kind of people I don't hang around with IWL...). C44 introduced me to one last guy, a guy who didn't look like the others, but kind of acted like them. He looked like a 40-ish year old guy with the hair of Wreck-It Ralph, although he was still fairly well-built. C44 told me that his name is Amplitude, and he's my subconscious (great, my subconscious has a 90's street name...). All of us just kind of hung out for a little bit. I kind of felt like I was the most awkward person in that group, but they seemed to accept me anyway, although part of me felt that it was more out of pity than actually liking me (you know that friend you hang out with just because you feel sorry for them? It was kind of like that...). I ended up talking to the girl for a while, although we just kind of had small talk about where I was from, what college I was going to, what I was studying, etc.

After a while, I think I was either bored or felt too awkward, so I told them I had to leave. C44 came over to say thanks for coming by. I thanked him instead, and went to hug him (TOTM!). He seemed okay with it at first, but I figured that wasn't the reaction the forum wanted, so I continued to hold him for a little bit. His smile slowly turned into this look of confusion, until he finally said something, so I was like, "I'm just messing with you. Thanks for the Task of the Month." He laughed. I walked away and the dream felt like it was slipping away.

I woke up on the couch in my living room. I looked at the clock and saw it was 7:00. Shoot, I didn't want to sleep for 5 hours, I thought. But, then the scene went dark.

I woke up again, this time in kind of storage shed/garage. I got up and saw Amplitude standing in front of me, which made me lucid. He didn't say much - he kind of just stood there for a bit. "Are you really my subconscious?" I asked. He nodded and said, "Ask me anything." I froze. In all my effort to just try to arrange a meeting with my subconscious, I never actually thought of a single thing I wanted to ask him. I kind of thought of a question on the spot, but I thought it was stupid and just suppressed it. He just kind of laughed. "Can't think of anything, huh? Shall we watch the tape, then?" I turned around to see this little projection screen set up in the corner. I guess I was embarrassed of watching any tape of myself, so I decided a stupid question was better than no question. "How do I know if I've found the right girl?" I could've facepalmed myself. He kind of chuckled. "I can't answer that for you. You have to find that out for yourself." I found myself backing up for some reason. There was some ambient noise that kind of got louder, so I couldn't hear the rest of what he said. The dream kind of destabilized, and I woke up in some hotel room. I realized that wasn't right, but soon I woke up for real. I looked at the clock and saw it was only 4:00, which was a relief.

This one was a nice, long, pretty cool lucid dream, but I still feel like I missed several opportunities, but whatever. Still pretty cool.

    12. 2013, July 21, (Sunday): Where was I? Where are you? Where have you been?

      by , 07-21-2013 at 11:54 PM
Please take this with a bit slower thought than you normally might, This was a very strange dream to me.

Note: Before I had it, I let my dog go outside sometime between 4 AM and 5 AM and I fell asleep on the swing (With a coat and long pants on, Mostly so I wouldn't get bitten by mosquitoes and it also helped me not catch a cold) and I woke at about 5:40 and went back to bed. Then after the first dream I wrote here, I woke at about 7:14 AM.

      #1:

I just have to say, Wow; Where was I?

Near the start of the dream I met some relatives I didn't realize were related to me; There was a man and I think his wife and child who may have been an infant. This is sounding pretty similar to some people who go to a church I attend! After that I met another me in my own room and he didn't look quite like me, I think he wore a coat that looked like the one I wore outside earlier while awake.

Some time after that, Things started getting weirder, I think I went into a deeper dream level so to speak because I normally don't have dreams like this. I may have talked about switching places with this other me for some reason.

Next, I recall going outside and the house was not quite the same as it is in waking life; There were more parts to the building on the back end of it and then I recall explaining to someone that the sun and moon didn't work in the same way where I was from. I also said to someone that I was from another dimension and I saw some people in the side yard including a neighbor I know who attends the same church as I do and also plays a musical instrument as I do, But he wasn't my neighbor and he didn't recognize me.

Later, There was some structure in that side yard and a man was in a small shack-y room with the door cracked open. There was another door behind a man who I was talking to and after I looked away from him and looked back, He had no head but was standing there with a breathing apparatus! And after looking into the red sky (And there were no trees nearby as there are in waking life) I saw some weird things in it like red licorice candy clouds, If I could describe them as such but I don't think they were edible. I had enough at that point and said the Lord's prayer,

"Our father who art in heaven,
      Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom, And the power, And the glory forever.
      Amen."

(Note: I did not say the prayer exactly like this. But, I said it with the same meaning. BTW, There's a saying which is "There are no atheists in a foxhole" And I can't say I was as faithful as I may have believed in the Bible in weeks prior to this dream.)

Then, I thought I woke up and I was in the back end of my Dad's caravan with the back end open which was facing the house which is a bit odd given the driveway. I thought I was awake and I went back inside the house with my dog, Talked with my Father (My parent) and some time after that, I woke for real.

At times in that dream I was wondering if I would ever wake up because it was so weird and unlike the waking world.

Later, I went downstairs and slept on the couch until about 9:15 AM. Some of the next dream was as this:

2: I think there was some selection of this next part, As if it was a movie with some people deciding what to do for/with this guy described below or a video game level selection screen. A man drove a big truck in a snowy mountain pass, Parked his truck away from the bridge which was small if I rememebr right, Went up to the bridge that was closed, His truck fell off the mountain and he jumped off the cliff where it fell and found wings in the air quite far away from the mountain and flew around in places including my living room.

If you have not seen something like the first dream I described here, Can you relate? I didn't feel like I was at home, I'm not about to call it a lucid dream as I didn't "Have the powers of dreamland at my control", So to speak, But it felt like I was painfully aware I was not so close to home.

Note: How did "Nightmare" and "Task of the Month" get selected? I don't recall clicking those, I clicked "Non-Lucid" And "Side Notes" And then those weren't selected. I took so long to write this that my login session had expired and I had to log in again, So that might have something to do with it. But, The first dream was unpleasant and I imagine it is a task of the month to not have another dream like this, This month. So I left those tags there and re-added the other ones.

      Dream 1:

I was in some game with weird story, there was something about spirits and challenges and the place had weird physics. There were some metallic constructions and i and some other people had to climb to the top by adding some pieces of metal to that construction to make the way up. There were forums for the game where many ended up asking for tips, and eventually i managed to get to the top. There were some storage rooms and eventually i reached some room. There was some spirit boy with decent sized black spider marionette that he controlled by hand, we had a talk about something, and then he was telling story of his past and that he had spirit of an anthropomorph dragon of blue color following him in that past and that something happened related to it. And then i had to make a some kind of choice, but it resulted in a different ending than one i was trying to get.

      Dream 2(fragment):

There was some discussion about dragons on some forum.
    14. Justice for the Dragon Republic

There was a meeting of dragons, of which I was part. Apparently a serpent sorcerer managed to get into the mix who attacked several members of this council before fleeing. I and one other dragon pursued them. They were easy enough to track. Soon we came upon some gems, large chunky and brightly colored. They looked kind of like frozen popsicles in their consistency. My partner was distracted by them, but I recognized them as a decoy.

I continued on, bounding on all fours. I became aware that I was a dragon of fire and ice. My scales a pale shimmering grey. I was very lean and sinewy with a long neck and tail. My flesh was cold but my breath was hot, I could feel the warmth of it with each bounding leap. I wasn't flying yet, but I did use my wings to sort of glide as I bounded across the ground. Oh, and all these dragons were about the size of a large house cat.

Then, I could see the serpent. She had transformed into a humanoid form. She ran and jumped. I think we were nearing the edge of what looked like a Japanese shrine as there were steps and large Tori. I bounded up the stairs, took a large leap, soared above them slightly before collapsing my wings to speed towards them like a bullet. I wrapped my arms wings and tail around them, completely enveloping them in my icy grip, coiled my neck around, and through a small opening poured my fiery breath.

I unwound just before hitting the ground, releasing the contents of icy coils. Striking the earth in front of me, and bouncing away a space before coming to a smoldering halt, were the charred remains of a serpent.

      DREAM 1: (fragment)
All I remember is something about being fired and being broke.
      DREAM 2: (fragment)
This was a full dream bu I woke up in the middle of the night for it and I didn't bother to remember it, so I can only remember a snippet now. I know it was about some kind of "silent superman", and I think the dream contained a black and white segment, while my dreams are normally colour.
      DREAM 3: (non-lucid)
      Detail: Average/Above Average
      Length: Above Average
Awareness: I was kind of aware at the start, then I wasn't for the rest, but I did have great mental clarity, I just wasn't conscious of the fact I was dreaming.
This dream started out with me and about 6-7 other people hanging out in space. We were all just floating around a space station and talking about some kind of mission that we were going to do. I remember some kind of disaster happening, nothing to specific, but I think the space station blows up. I remember we all have to make decisions about how we are going to get back to Earth. I decide to just go back into the Earths atmosphere, just myself. I kind of float over to the edge and start floating in. I Started slowly floating down to Earth. On the way I have a lot of time to think, but I didnt become conscious, even though I really should have. I was travelling quite slowly through the air, as my dream mind was tricking my by thinking that you travel slower in the Earths atmosphere, instead of reaching terminal velocity. Maybe I had a parachute, I don't know. Anyway, I was travelling down to Earth, thinking I was going to land in water, when I made the connection that even though I was travelling so slowly, if I landed on land I would die. Sure enough, the clouds parted and I was above land. I'm not to sure what happened here, but I remember landing in a lake or a sea inlet of something, so I survived. I took out this inflatable boat with an outboard motor from by pack (don't ask me how it could fit in there) and blew it up like you do balloons. I saw a big cruise ship in the distance and travel towards it, waving my arms to try and grab its attention, but the first ship ignores me. The second ship I see does pick me up I think, but the dream starts fading...
And the dream comes back. I am at school (my dreamsign doh!) and I'm sitting at a bench with some friends. There is a large tunnel/canal thingy where the hockey field normally is, and I ask why it is there. One of them tells me that is how they came back from outer space, and I remember suddenly that all of the other people up there were from my class. We talk for a while then head off to class. When I get there there's a year 9 class sitting there with our grade, and they want us to talk about what we did when we in space and how we came back. They treated it like it was an excursion, rather than a near death experience or something which it should have been. Anyway the dream starts fading there, but I remember listening and talking a bit in the class.

I liked this dream, as it went for about a full 24 hours in total dream tie, and it was very entertaining (I mean who doesn't want to freefall from space?). Its a shame didn't get lucid, as I would have had a lot of fun for sure, but next time!
