    1. Meesha was missing

      by , 09-12-2016 at 08:59 PM
For the following reason I did not even try to remember my dreams.........Yesterday we brought in our outside table which doubles as a dining room table for the indoor season of holidays. It's a nice table w/ granite tiles. And one of my daughters came by to pick up a crib mattress. After this, Meesha Cat went missing. Meesha cat never came home even to eat. I was up until 3:30 waiting on her & took 2 xanax to finally sleep. When I woke up she had missed her morning breakfast & daily mauling of my head by many hours. I scoured the neighborhood & prayed. I even fell in my garage which is actually an old barn packed full of dangerous, mostly useless shit & cut myself up. So I asked my neighbor & nothing. I then noticed her cat was outside which was odd. Meesha scares the hell out of that cat, lol & it stays clear of her & stays mostly in her house. I asked the cat where Meesha was, yup I really did that. And low & behold the cat went still & her eyes bugged out in fear. She froze. I turned around & you guessed it, Meesha was right there. She didn't want to go into the house. She let her pick her up, which is something she usually shies away from for some reason & brought her inside. She inspected the table & I basically gave her a kitty cat 4 course meal. She's exhausted but she did eventually play for a while. All I can figure is what we always thought about her is that she may have thought we were moving & that her last owner may have left her behind. She's a thoroughbred Maine Coon cat that ended up at the Humane Society which is unheard of.

    2. Airships in the Cloud House

by , 09-12-2016 at 06:44 PM (Exploring My Mind)
Lately I've been changing up my sleeping routine and just not setting my alarm. It seems to be helping with recall...so far.
I was in a little house that rested on top of the clouds. The house wasn't any that I recognized, but the sight outside was beautiful. Strangely, our house was the only one like this; no others were in sight, just an endless sea of clouds.
In the house with me were my dad and my aunt. We were all gearing up to ride on some airships to this festival that would be taking place down on the surface, beneath the clouds. While we were preparing, multiple people I knew IRL also came to visit, popping up through the clouds on their own airships. The airships themselves looked like motorcycles without wheels. One guy who I didn't recognize popped up and laughed loudly, cupping his hands around his mouth and shouting towards us, "ARE YOU GUYS READY YET??"
Eventually my grandpa appeared on his own airship, parking it on the house's balcony and coming in to chat with the lot of us.
Unfortunately, if we did go to that festival, I certainly don't remember it.
The next dream recalled was much smaller, and I think I had it after going back to sleep when I woke up to write the previous one.
Me and my friend AJ were in this strange place that looked like a combination between my high school and a shopping mall. /for some reason, quite a few of my dreams feature warped or weird versions of shopping centers or my high school. I don't recall much from this dream, just that AJ was trying to lead me to some place, but I ignored him, as I had a bad feeling about it. Instead, I went upstairs to check the lockers, for some reason expecting to find something in them that was apparently very important.
    3. Meditation into WILD

      by , 09-12-2016 at 04:20 PM
I meditated for 30 minutes during my WBTB period then when back to sleep. During the period of falling asleep, I still tried to do a light meditation and not lose the mind frame I had minutes ago. I felt the shift which unmistakably meant I was in a dream. I could not move however; I feared that trying too hard to move would ruin lucidity.

    4. Hovering Around in Leonard’s Room on King Street

      by , 09-12-2016 at 03:12 PM
Morning of September 12, 2016. Monday.

The most obvious dream sign in a dream is being in a bed (which is not typically a “dream symbol” at all - it is usually just a subliminal memory of having gone to sleep, just as being undressed in public is) and such is the case here. However, it is not my real bed at some points even though the orientation falsely feels exactly the same. I find myself sleeping in Leonard’s bed in the King Street boarding house; a location I have not been to in over twenty years.

Leonard’s room is arranged so that there are three beds; two to the east wall and one from the west wall somewhat in the middle on that side. Although Leonard (born August 1945) is only present briefly, there are also two malcontent disaffected college students sharing his room. They are probably only around twenty years of age. The bed I had been sleeping in is in the northeast area of his room (head to the east windows), where a bed had not only never been in reality, but had appeared as such in previous dreams, which causes me to yet again question why dreams “get everything wrong” so consistently like this in regards to layout, locations, and settings in general (even combining settings from two different countries), more especially as my dream self never takes notice of such an overt “mistake” that seems almost intentional as a type of tertiary dream sign which has been a facet of the majority of my dreams since earliest memory.

I seem to be ostracized (by the two other males) for sleeping in Leonard’s bed due to the fact that I am not an actual tenant who pays rent at this boarding house at this time. I do not really care. Even though I am not lucid, I decide to get out of bed, allow myself to float up to the ceiling and hover there, facing downwards while very slowly turning about much like a large ceiling fan that is coming to a stop until my head faces east. The sensation and momentum feels perfect and very harmonious. Still, they do not seem amused, continuing to only glare up at me (which I find somewhat amusing), but they do not say much. I contemplate the idea of sleeping up here from now on while hovering downwards as such in the center of the room near the ceiling, slowly turning like a ceiling fan as if in an environment without gravity.

Of the tens of thousands of dreams I have documented and closely studied (including with comparing and contrasting similar dreams), there seem to be three types of dream lucidity (not including scripted lucid dreams of which there is no point in posting online) that are nothing at all like typical lucid and semi-lucid dreams (which otherwise come into full control by spoken phrases, or including lately, the written word), and in fact, are so different from “ordinary” dreams as to be “something else”, especially apex lucidity, where full automatic control is manifest for as long as desired (or until the dream colorfully breaks up from needing to wake relative to the biological need to wake).

Instinctual dreaming seems to be the most common type of dream for me since earliest memory (and is similar in clarity and mood to a typical non-lucid dream); that is, shaping at least part of my dream with background expectations (which is how some people create nightmares for themselves by focusing on and amplifying their own fearful expectations, without understanding that it is their conscious mind creating this, not the unconscious - which of course has no sentience or awareness) without at all having any level of actual lucidity or questioning my status or perspective in any way regardless of any wrongness or otherwise surreal nature of the setting or events. Two, pretense-based dreams, where whatever I say to another dream character or imply in a dream changes it perfectly based on my pretense even though there is no facet of lucidity at all. For example, I will say that I have valid identification to enter a secret military base (even though I “know” I do not) and it will simply manifest in my dream as such. Three, apex lucidity, something I cannot begin to understand due to its state being so utterly different than other dreams. Fully in-body, perfect clarity and sense of physical weight and momentum, solidity and incredibly realistic ambiance, and full ongoing “automatic” control based on any conscious desire (though conscious expectation is the dominating factor in most dreams anyway). The state is different from scripted lucid dreams (which often end after the last scripted event with the falling jolt waking mechanism as is to be expected) in that no practiced meditative sequence seems required and whole consciousness (though somehow shifted into liminal space) takes over completely (and the perception remaining at this level potentially indefinitely), with all the senses augmented.

    5. 16-09-12 Faux-Lucid Chain Escape, Subway

      by , 09-12-2016 at 12:23 PM
Dream that involved a train or subway station. It was a long and creepy dream, but I recall no details.

Another faux-lucid dream. I was restrained by a former colleague (don't recall which one), who had put chains around my wrists. He knew I could easily break them if he used just one normal chain, so he used several, made from very thick metal. So, he was aware of my lucid powers, and so was I, even though I don't think I was lucid! I was keen on showing the bastard he couldn't stop me, the dreamer, and tried to break the chains. The first time, I couldn't. Then I focused, convincing my mind the chains aren't real (there is no spoon!) - and this time they broke. I remember menacingly walking after an older man who worked there as well, scaring the hell out of him. He fled in terror, and I felt somewhat bad for him. I yelled after him that he should retire (???). I also (for the umpteenth time) learned to levitate and then fly, which I used during my attempts to terrorize my ex-colleagues.

      by , 09-12-2016 at 06:50 AM
      1) Walked into reception and started looking through some papers looking for death certificates I commented that I had 3 today but could only find 2, and I had just seen the body of the third. Walked out of the office, a group of young girls was in my way I pushed through them. Outside there was another group of girls and they seemed to be being taught something. I saw one of my cats stood with them and went to give it some attention.

      2) A watched a farmer plough a field. He was also planting some seeds. At the edge of the field I saw him cut a branch of a tree back becasue it was in the way.

    7. #209: Artist

      by , 09-12-2016 at 04:12 AM
Writing this down a few hours later. Think it would've made a memorable dream if I had written it down immediately.

I'm in a room. It's the studio of an artist. A painter of sorts I think. He is... eccentric. He also runs a weed business from within this room. He has just hired his girlfriend to help him, but he's complaining about everything she does. He's giving her instructions: this joint you light before handing it over, this one you just hand over, this particular weed you give this much of, and so on. He's complaining that his previous employee was great. I feel bad for his girlfriend.

This artist has made an art work on a canvas for me. Not entirely sure if everything was painted on. He just finished and is now taking a break, relaxing on some beanie bag type of thing. The artist can still edit the art work, but he's put so much effort into it that I feel bad about it. He's also hinting strongly that it would be a lot of work. I'm not really satisfied with the work though. A second painting will come after his break. I show the first one (or the second one?) to my non-existent girlfriend. I think it's a painting of her, but she doesn't recognise it and I'm kinda shy to tell her for some reason. Not sure what happened, but I think she got mad and it was the final straw. We broke up on the spot. She stayed inside with the artist and I went outside. The girlfriend also went outside. Outside the door is the first time I really take a look at her. She's wearing short heels and something with bare legs. She's pasty white. Somewhere along the dream some chemistry starts evolving between us.

I'm talking with mismagius. There are lines of text appearing, like in chat. We are discussing something.

      DR 2:
I am walking with few others outside. There is nothing there, just some fields and trees. But that path was leading somewhere. It was getting dark and I realized we left too late and we need a flashlight. I was a bit mad at myself how come I don't have one on me. I look back and we already walked a good distance, so going back for a flashlight was not really possible. I pulled out some small gadget that had a small very bright light on it. It was not enough to light the way, but at least alerted others not to bump into us.
