Afternoon of April 30, 2018. Monday. This entry is required reading for anyone who wants to develop a better understanding of dreams and the various causes of dream content and inherent meanings. In this entry, I will be writing more about the nature of vestibular system correlation. This is my most common form of autosymbolism throughout the tens of thousands of dreams I have studied and decoded for over fifty years since early childhood. It can occur in a few different dreams per sleep cycle. Ultimately, it is my main recurring factor of dream state transition, even in lucid dreams, and is augmented in some auto-scripted dreams, as deliberately auto-scripted dreams have unavoidable though incidental stark contrasts with circadian rhythms dynamics, a main factor of sleeping and dreaming. Since childhood (around age nine), I have tried to determine causes of different types of vestibular system correlation, which, while in a dream, ranges from subliminal to intrusive; for example, dreams of falling and even a dream where an intruder tried to force me to grow a bird of prey’s talon from my right thumb. By way of RAS mediation, a simulacrum of vestibular system correlation is created in one of several different ways, including specialized preconscious personification or even features such as a bird as a “teacher” or a “villain” depending on the concurrent dynamics of the particular state (including the subliminal willingness to wake or continue sleeping). For example, in the most vivid dream I have ever had, a resplendent quetzal flew down to become the partner of an earthbound bantam silver sebright rooster (the one I had as a pet in childhood but long dead in reality). RAS personification may be “friendly” or “invasive” depending on the status of the dream self’s attention, which may not be related to waking life or the conscious self identity or experience at all, but the progression of the waking stage and the status of current dream self awareness and depth. Vestibular system correlation comes in many different forms. In some cases, it depends on sleeping position. Sleeping position has a major influence on both depth of sleep and the nature of the dream state and the types of dreams that result. Waking life vestibular system ambiguity results in dizziness, although in dreams this is more about subliminal anticipation of the waking process, the main factor of a non-lucid dream’s autosymbolism. The processes relating to vestibular system correlation comes from the dream self’s virtual vestibular system being separate from the real vestibular system of the physical body in REM sleep. To put it simpler, the subconscious self does not have a viable awareness of the real physical body while sleeping. This is what causes the sensations of flying, falling, rising, and movement in general, which of course, is an illusion. (On a side note, dizziness in waking life is of course an illusion as the room is not literally spinning around you as you are discerning it as such.) The description of REM sleep muscle atonia by Jouvet and Michel (1959) helped to presage the idea that dreaming was constituted by virtual perception and movement. Real (waking) perception and movement were actively blocked, while the brain was forced to generate a virtual simulacrum of waking consciousness. (“Virtual reality and consciousness inference in dreaming”, Front Psychol. 2014; 5: 1133.) This does not mean that dream state indicators (such as the appearance of a bed or being undressed) or other subliminal awareness of being asleep does not come into play as a thread in a dream’s hodgepodge. Vestibular system ambiguity can flow from passive to dominant (dream self is moving toward consciousness) or from dominant to passive (dream self is slipping back into sleep). It does not make any sense to “interpret” autosymbolic biological factors, but this is what many people do. It is important to understand that dreams, contrary to popular belief, do not symbolically “represent” waking life, but are meant to occasionally borrow waking life factors to initiate the return to consciousness. In the case of the specific factor discussed in this entry, it is not possible to consciously control vestibular system ambiguity in the dream state, lucid or not, though an aspect of it can be held, for example, in flying dreams (both lucid and non-lucid) where the real vestibular perception of the physical body does not dominate the liminal state or space. Some people seem to believe that falling dreams are a result of waking life anxiety. I have never seen any personal evidence of this. The vividness of falling dreams increases exponentially after I have had a lot more exercise, especially with more time spent walking. Such a dream is also more likely if I had been in an elevator that day, and I have no anxiety regarding elevators in waking life. My most vivid falling dream occurred during the night after experiencing the log flume ride at Busch Gardens earlier that day. Falling dreams (in addition to the talon dream mentioned above) are also sometimes caused by environmental noise. Even in waking life, high levels of noise may stimulate the vestibular system and thereby cause disturbances in the balancing mechanism. Babies apparently experience falling dreams by way of the Moro reflex, which I have often seen in my own children when they were babies. Understanding the nature of vestibular system correlation and dream state and waking process autosymbolism in general will help you to easily dismiss the nonsensical psychobabble and superstition concerning dreams of which is virtually everywhere, but of which is a great disservice to present day society (at least for people who have never held the desire of looking into the causes of their own dreams). One of the most important aspects to understand about dreams is, just as with sequences of waking life thoughts, a dream is not just one event. Even though I typify dreams based on their main factor, there are always threads of other processes integrating into the dream state, again, just as with waking life thoughts. This is why saying that a dream relates to one thing makes no sense - any more than claiming every singular thought in a period of twenty minutes is “about” the same thing. Dreams are a result of many different types of threads coming together in a synthesized composite. Until that is understood, there is no hope of discerning the nature of the dream state. On a side note, some people apparently do not dream of flying very often or at all, when the majority of my dreams have this potential. I effortlessly take to the sky as perceiving it in the same way as I do walking in waking life in both lucidity and non-lucidity. The highest level of apex lucidity however, does not have this potential, as the discernment of physicality is too augmented, complete with the extremely realistic feeling of weight, movement, and momentum (impetus). On a final note, I should point out that falling can also serve as induction into a more vivid dream, though this is rare for me (though I prefer creating and using a difficult door for an astounding increase in vividness). Some people do not seem to believe this because of the ludicrous myth about dying in a dream if you do not wake up before your fall completes. It is one of many nonsensical myths propagated by people with virtually no dreaming experience.

The 29th I was in my father's old house on a staircase. I walked down and saw some friends in the room. For some reason I just knew this was a dream and looked at someone and said "this is a dream" and they nodded and everything was vivid but I wasn't really controlling much just aware. I looked at the staircase and bahar came down and I told her it was a dream and she nodded like "duh" and then some other sexual things occurred. I had a dream about skydiving. I'm outside of my dad's old house clearing. There's a massive building where I think the planes are. The dream skipped around a lot. I think at some point we got up in the air. Part of a dream I was walking up this massive hill of some kind. On the left was a church and there was a funeral going on. It was strange because the funeral had the family of the deceased on stage facing the crowd. They were crying and hugging each other. Everyone was wearing black. I could see a few cars parked outside of the church. There was a massive tree shading everyone at the event. I kept walking up the stairs trying not to look at the funeral, up to the top. I was at a sporting event like a football game. I was very high up in the stands and was in fear of falling down the stands and getting hurt. My view went to several parts of the stands and I noticed that I would have fallen further at some points compared to others but I was in an okay spot. Someone was talking to me about the games like about who was playing but they kept getting confused because it would be two teams and then four and then different teams. I started floating down the stands while looking at the huge scoreboard thing in the middle. I was saying "this is a dream" and floating down gently to the middle. When I got to the bottom I realized I wasn't in a stadium anymore but a bedroom. A girl came walking down the hallway through an open door and to me. She was light skin and not wearing a lot of clothing. She had light brown hair that might've been curly, and freckles on her face. She had told me her name was something that started with a "C" like "Clarissa" but also told me another name as well that was like the name she goes by or something. We started to kiss but I kept my eyes open because I didn't want the dream to collapse. I could see her freckles very close to my face. We started to become intimate and we got into a rhythm. She finished and then asked me how that had happened. I remember looking at her and saying something like "wow I've been in this lucid dream forever. This has been my longest lucid dream." And it really did feel like a long time but the weirdest part was it felt like the most stable. It most of my lucids I'm thinking it's going to crash at any moment but this was just so calm and stable I didn't think it would end. We continued on in other positions. She asked me what her name was and I said "Clarissa" and she said it was another name and I said "no it's Clarissa I want to find you at some point when we get over into the real world." She simply nodded and the dream went back to non-lucid. The dream was now in this hotel space. Kids were lugging laundry bags to do their laundry. It was like a vacation place but also a dorm where young adults lived. We were a group that was going to leave the next morning very early so we started packing our things so that we could just get back and leave with our belongings. It felt like we were going to a cross between firefly music festival and kings dominion amusement park. We were packing up our stuff and weird objects were there on shelves. I can't remember what the objects were but they seemed to be associated with magic. At some point I walk into a room and there's my doctor there telling me I have some sort of sickness. He goes "yeah this is the rarest sickness of this type" but I don't feel threatened at all. I had a dream last week but I don't remember which day it was so I'll add it here. It felt like I was in another country that was either in the amazon or in asia. The scene was in between my schools though at the bus loop without buses. I could see tracks in between different places and buildings. Everything that wasn't a building or track or person or object was just this empty black color. I was swimming in this black stuff on a track and could see these massive bugs crawling next to me. It was really freaky. There was apparently a restaurant we were going to that had fish and chips. We ended up meeting people there and I was supposed to pay with my mom's credit card. The end of the dream was weird because I was standing in this black stuff in the middle of the bus loop and the idea was I was on mushrooms. I've never done them before so I didn't have an experience to base it off of. I was standing lower than the track and looking up I could see these people with spirals for eyes like Rezz looking at me. They were higher up than me but it seemed like they were tiny people. In my mind I'm thinking "here they are" or "oh hi nice to meet you finally." It felt utterly weird being in the presence of these things, they weren't like dream characters they were like actual beings that knew they were in some sort of dream with me separate from what my mind created. They seemed to just look at me. Another dream from that night was located at this restaurant place. The place was symmetrical and had all of these objects. Someone would hide an object and I'd have to find it. Someone hid a small sphere in the corner and I had to reach down further to get it. This place was brightly colored with reds oranges and yellows and seemed very clean and set up but in a cartoonish way. That eventually gave way to the idea that I was with a group of people downtown somewhere trying to go to a concert. We were at someone's house about to leave. Dana walks in with her friends and I awkwardly blurt of "how you are yeah?" and she walks further into the house towards the kitchen. I eventually go into the kitchen and grab some cookie dough out of the refrigerator and start to eat it.

So I was at a school and I was going to eat with this guy who apparently was my friend. The place kind of looked like my middle school cafeteria so maybe I was in middle school? I was wearing jeans and a t shirt. So as we are in line for our food we are waiting and out of boredom I start talking and I make this joke that has practically everyone in earshot laughing, except my friend. My friend just had this sad look on his face. I guess the joke must have been an offensive one, I feel like maybe it was making fun of boys. Anyway I guess I got really popular but I felt really bad after seeing my friend's reaction. The dream showed me this list, it was kind of like a pause screen or a spreadsheet I guess. The list had all the people around me and described their reactions. Most of them thought I was hilarious, a couple of them laughed along because they wanted to fit in, but what really got me was the report about my friend. "You really hurt him with that joke. It might take him a while to get over this." The joke must not have really been that funny since I can't remember it.
Date of Dream: MON 30 APR - 2018 Dream No. 318 - My Brother's Boss I don't remember much of this dream. From what I can remember, I was in some unknown area, it looked a lot like the outside of my brother's workplace though. I saw this girl there that was from my high-school. Just like in real life, something clicked in my mind... She had the same surname as my brother's workplace boss. In this dream, the girl, PP, had a distorted look about her but I could still tell who she was. I asked her, “Is your mum's name Deborah?”. She said yes. I was extremely surprised. In amazement, I say to her, “So then, your mum is actually my brother's boss!”. That's all I can remember for this dream. I found myself in a huge convention center, it seemed. And to my surprise, the place sort of circled around a large domain where the space needle was being constructed, though it was black. I met this woman, and everyone presumed she had an attitude about her that made her cold, unapproachable, and seemingly ill-tempered. I chose to ignore these elements and sat down with her at a picnic table, still inside this convention center. This woman's disposition was an absolute amalgamation of several personas of multiple strippers. La I'm so stupidly foggy as to other dream aspects, but I was at one point conversing with my mother about something lifelike. Additionally, my friend Matt was at my house, and he felt the need to watch television on our big screen downstairs. He gathered together a jumbled mess of extension cords, and sought the assistance of my father to garner a means to watch his program. When i met him at the foot of the stairs, I asked why he needed to do this, and he responded with "I didn't want you to give me that look of eyes five inches apart!" Created Sunday 29 April 2018 Got various things to note, though I've lost memory of several of these. Scrap Group 1 Something about a highway drive. Went to a fancy Chinese Buffet with my friend Vlad and brother Javy, the entrance priced agreeably at $6 per person. While going through the food counters, an attendant handed each of us a gigantic bucket of fried rice. I forgot it while serving myself other things, and only realized when I took my seat. Dream 1 - Coincidental Return to My Old Job The visuals were mostly clear. I was working again in my old job at the gas station. Coincidentally, Anthony, a former co-worker who'd left before I did, supposedly returned just a month prior. Spent quite a while catching up with ourselves, even if I'm embarrassed to admit certain matters. Later, I man the registers, only it was logged in someone else's name. Enter another presumed co-worker, a tall black guy. I realized we were never formerly introduced, but seeing as a lot of time has already passed, it would've been awkward to do so at that moment. A former boss, Paul, also showed up briefly. Not too sure on much else. I know some woman ended up behind the registers to pick out cigarettes for herself. Don't recall how this ended. Dream 2 - Botanical Draqueduct Trial The visuals were slightly blurred. I was wandering around in the mid-upper levels of an apartment building, a grey sky visible out the windows. Later on, I go through walkways interconnecting the structure with adjacent buildings. These platforms got dangerously narrow at times, reduced to even a long wooden plank at its worst. Eventually, I meet up with a striking figure, a tall woman with impressive musculature, and a forceful personality to match. She demanded I follow her into one of the buildings. Seemed unwise to not to heed as much. Inside was a series of blue stone hallways. A spectacular bloom of vines and other plantlife decorated every inch of this structure. Such vegetation grew thicker the deeper we went. And then, the plants began moving. They lashed out, forcing us further inside. As I was crossing a doorway, a shrub suddenly sprouted behind me, interposing between the woman and I. She bade I not mind her, that I continue on my own. I did so without hesitation. As I went further ahead, the vegetation dwindled in number. Soon after, I found myself back at the entrance. The tough lady was already there, alive and well. She explained that I'd gone through some kind of trial, one only select persons were allowed to complete. After that, she takes me to another nearby building. Upon taking one step inside, a plant emerges yet again from behind, blocking me from the woman, the exit, and even from any light. "You alone were chosen", grunted the woman. "This is something you have to do on your own." Unnerved, I walk towards the darkened open space ahead. Just then, a deep voice boomed from above. "You have come far in this trial.", said the enigma. "Now, final judgement is upon you. But beware" the voice bellowed fearsomely, "failure in this next test will result in your certain demise. Prepare yourself!" I shook in place uncontrollably. Only, I realized it wasn't me, but the entire structure itself. The floor quickly gave way. Now, I found myself sliding backwards through the winding tunnels of a vast stonework aqueduct, the sky partially in view through narrow slits above. I started looking for a way out of this unintended ride, when I noticed a terrifying figure overhead: a massive dragon, bony spikes protruding from its olive-green scales. "How long can you survive?!", taunted the creature, quite apparently the source of the aforementioned voice. I forced myself to go faster, hoping that I could somehow outrun the beast. Indeed, I did soon lose sight of it. But then, I found myself face to face with its massive jaws, snapping in from one of several occasional large openings on the walls of the structure. Luckily, its wicked fangs missed me by a hair. Reactively, I reached into my pockets, but could only find a handful of stones. Still, I 'figured' I had magical abilities. I enchanted the stones, then waited. Eventually, while passing some large gaps, I saw the creature trying to swoop in at me. So, I hurled a stone at it, if feebly (I was still getting dragged by currents, after all). Nonetheless, even a mere graze caused it great distress. Roaring in fury, the dragon responded by breathing a gout of flame, almost incinerating me, had not the tunnel closed again in the nick of time. When it next tried to attack, I conjured an earth elemental, created from the materials of the structure itself. This being obviously stood little chance, but it could at least occupy the menace long enough to give me some distance. Later on, my ride was abruptly halted by my getting dropped into a huge cistern. I swam around momentarily, scouting for an exit, but could see none. This delay cost me my lead. The dragon soon hovered in from above. In such circumstances, I was all but helpless. Just as I thought my demise was imminent, I was suddenly flushed into the depths. When I came to, I found myself sliding down that aqueduct all over again. The trial wasn't over. Much of that sequence repeats, until I eventually woke up. Scrap Group 2 Some extended scenes of the work dream above.
